Chapter 16 - Beerus the Destroyer

I only stayed for a week at the Galactic Captial, having a great time being hosted and we even came to a few agreements.

For now, we would remain in control of our world, signing a treaty for peace between the Galactic Monarchy and The Dragon World Government. I also agreed to help them with any planet-wide or larger threats within the Milky Way. The final stipulation was that they wished to be informed of any universal threats that we are fighting so that they might help.

I invited both Irico and Sealas to come to earth for some training within the year, but I did make time to fulfill my promise to Irico, and I took him to Akuha to meet Tarble and Gure. We stayed there for dinner one evening and a few other Tech-Techs were excited to hear from one of their own within the Milkey Way.

My dad and Merus wanted to keep training for a while and they found some other Spirit and Time chamber where they were able to train for nearly a month while I handled the week-long negotiations.

He left the training room with a huge smile on his face, "Chiyo! Are you ready to head back? I need to go all out against Vegeta!"

"Did you access a new form?" I asked.

"Hmmm, I feel like I am on the cusp of something, but I wasn't able to, even with Merus's help!"

As we walked up the ramp into my ship I turned with a smile, "Well, I look forward to it, because whoever is stronger out of the two of you will be able to fight the strongest being in our universe!"

That seemed to break something in his thought process, "What!? Stronger than Merus?"

"Oh, well, different, he's a destroyer, and since you and Vegeta are going to fight, we might as well have something on the line for it right?"

"Does Vegeta know?"

"About the Destroyer or the fight between you two?"

"BOTH!" My dad said excitedly.

Ivan and Yamu were walking behind me with amused glances between themselves, now fully used to my dad's antics.

I laughed, "No, but I am sure he will agree. It will change the power rankings if you beat him."

"Wait, are you saying he's ranked higher right now?"

"Yeah, he won the last fight you had."

"The 25th World Martial Arts Tournament?"

"Nope."

"Fighting Majin Buu?"

"Nope."

"The Heeters?"

"Nope, our group fight with Piccolo and Gohan, Remember?"

"How does that count? It was a group fight!"

"It just does!" I said simply, knowing exactly what this will do.

"Oh boy! I might have to Instant Transmission back to fight him right now! I will see you when you get back Chiyo!"

"Of course, if I don't witness it, then I guess it will be me that fights the Destroyer, as the Z-Forces' most powerful warrior," I said with an evil smile.

"But Chiyo! That isn't fair!"

Shrugging at his comment I said, "Of course not, but life isn't fair. I suggest you consolidate your gains from what you learned with Merus. I would be happy to spar with you until we get back..."

"But, every time we fight now you burn away my Ki! It also isn't fair!"

"Well, have you thought about controlling your energy better? This is all about Spirit Control after all!"

I convinced my dad to train another week on the way back. I honestly just wanted to train with him a bit, Sealas was a good training partner but his abilities were strange. He also preferred a staff in combat which made getting in close frustrating.

It was also just plain fun to train with a genius fighter like my dad. Ever adaptive and progressing. He could read and feel parts of a fight that others couldn't even see, much less comprehend.

I could feel myself becoming more comfortable with my human abilities. The drawing of power through my 10 silver rings, the ability to burn through an opponent's Ki reserves. I still couldn't understand how the emotions were tied to the rings, but maybe that wasn't the point of it.

It doesn't limit my emotions or anything, it felt more like an ignition key to my human's ascended side. I did make some progress with the addition of Divine Ki.

I thought the white-hair look was nice enough, but I began to notice some other oddities. Air was never displaced by my movement unless I wanted it to be. I didn't need to breathe if I had enough Ki, something I was practicing getting used to. I had been able to increase the range of my sensing abilities, easily pushing out as far as about half the galaxy. It is still difficult to hone in on individuals, but sensing Ki throughout the Milky Way was fun and interesting.

We made it back to the Dragon World and I immediately reported to King Furry, Gohan, and Videl. We went over everything I had learned, the details of the agreements we made with the Galactic Monarchy, and my thoughts on the trip.

I had been able to paint a clearer picture of our place in this universe, the implications of the power we wielded as the people of Earth, and what to expect in the near future.

As it is right now, Gohan and Videl would take the throne in exactly 8 months but I looked over to Videl with a raised eyebrow as she agreed. Her face flushed, "Chiyo...you know?"

I smiled, "I haven't said anything, but maybe we should push the ceremony back another 2 months or so?"

King Furry and Gohan looked confused, but Videl just laughed, "Gohan, I am...pregnant."

We had a fantastic party that weekend because of that news, the feeling of joy from my bond with Gohan was enough to drive me to happy tears. I have never felt such joy and pride from my brother.

I would never forget this moment.

Having morning announcements for most of the Guardians was a newer development that I had started taking up. Since coming back from the Galactic Capital nearly two months ago, I had been making more of a constant presence in much of the newer guardians' lives at work. Once a few more trainers had understood how to control Ki, the success rate of incoming recruits increased drastically.

I announced that Vegeta and Goku, our mysterious warriors at the top of the power scale would be fighting for the top spot. That would normally be fine, but with the recently expanded ranks of the Guardians, people have become extremely competitive.

The new ranking system now started with Recruit, then Trainee, then F, E, D, C, B, A, and finally the illusive class S. Where only the top trainers and fighters remained at the heights.

I loved being in class A, regardless of having power for S, just the implication that I am not as strong as the S-Tier while remaining the 'strongest' on earth let me set up respect among the ranks. People had begun to look up at the higher ranks with a sense of awe.

We now had nearly 75 Guardians, almost all at F through D as the basics had changed. To become a recruit you had to pass a background check, then showcase the willingness to learn how to get better.

Becoming a Trainee means being accepted into the organization officially. But it also means that one must be able to access their Ki. They don't need to do anything with it yet, just be able to access it.

Moving up to F people had to be able to Fly, or as the more poetic call it, 'sky-dancing', but it was a milestone of being able to wield your Ki, channel it through the body, and control it enough to keep oneself airborne.

Making it to E rank/class means being able to sense other Ki sources. This had been the big one as far as natural disasters and the like were concerned. E-rank Guardians can show up and find people deep under rubble, or caught at sea. It was a fundamental change in ability, meaning that many in the E Class would be much stronger than those below them.

There were a few hopefuls that I could see getting to around Yamcha or Krillin's pre-potential-unlocking level. With those facts included in my announcement, I made a severe miscalculation...there was now a full-fledged tournament that included prizes somehow.

Carina had put together a large series of prizes and I offered a chance to have their Spirit Space unlocked, the person who gets the first place in each rank, including trainees, by me.

Almost everyone looked at me with confusion until I explained, "It is a chance to see the potential of your path and a way in which to access it. If you cannot understand the implications of that, then don't bother competing. This is a very rare opportunity," I explained with a smirk.

I let them talk amongst themselves and a whole day's worth of tournaments that I was the ref for, took place.

For our trainees, a human named Shane Rogers won the final spot. Competing against nearly 40 other trainees, he took the top prize that Carina had offered. He was in his late 40s and I told him that he could come by my office on Monday. He thanked me and on the competition went.

F-class was finished by another human named Estaban, and he was a huge man that just smiled and bowed, promising to come by my office next week.

E-class was where things started to heat up, the final fight was between two beast-kin, a wolf-man that looked like some kind of wear-wolf and a gorgeous woman with a fox-tail and ears...a kitsune? No way...

The Kitsune won with a series of Ki-enhanced strikes that came from beautiful kicks. She had an odd grace to her and her Ki flowed to her feet in beautiful red strikes that would flow off of her in devastating arcs. She was probably on the edge of moving to D-class but would be one of the weaker ones there.

"Congratulations on your victory, miss..."

"Just Kiara, your Highness," She said while looking me dead in the eye.

"Director is fine, you will come by my office next week then?" I asked.

She actually blushed and nodded, "Of course, director, I look forward to it."

Wow, she is dangerous!

The next round included Yamu and Ivan as well as another recent recruit who had been flying through the ranks. Granolah beat Ivan in the last round for D class Guardians, taking the top spot.

After he won he just looked up at me with a smirk and I nodded back at him in congratulations. He grumbled something I couldn't hear as he walked off.

Such a tsundere.

There is only Videl and Yamcha in C class right now, as none had officially moved up, though after this Ivan, Yamu, and Granolah would have my approval to move into the next level. Videl being pregnant allowed Yamcha to be the winner of that. I promised to help him move forward and he seemed alright with it.

We currently didn't have any B-ranked Guardians, but Yamcha was eye-balling the spot.

When A rank came through, I was called out for being in the rank and not participating, so Piccolo took over as judge and I entered the fights.

I was against Krillin first, which he was nervous about, "Now Chiyo, I see you have a new transformation, is it another Saiyan form?"

I smiled, "It's actually from my human side, would you like to see it?"

"Heh, sure, as long as ya go easy on me!" He laughed.

"Never," I powered up, my silver rings turning white as latent Ki activated.

I ignited in strength and my aura grew sharp around me, I accessed Divine Ki, enough to turn my hair and tail white.

Krillin looked at me with a shocked expression before powering up on his own. A golden-white halo appeared behind his head and his eyes began to glow white, "I have a transformation of my own, finally!"

Krillin sprinted at me, pulling a Destructo-Disc into his left hand, he had been using them as melee weapons recently.

I smirked and let him come. He initiated with a flying kick, followed up with a swipe of his disc. I blocked the kick and leaned away from the swipe.

I really was fighting the strongest human.

The fight continued and I ended it at exactly 2 minutes with a series of strikes, he couldn't sense my energy as it was Divine Ki and I took advantage of that.

I hadn't used clones at all until the very end when 4 different versions of me landed devastating blows.

"So unfair..." Krillin said as he was knocked out.

18 and 17 fought and 18 put her brother through the paces before resigning. It was a fantastic display. By this point the entire Z-Force was watching and in awe of the displays of power.

Gohan wasn't there, he was working with King Furry and Videl. They usually came by at the end of the day for their workouts so we just skipped him.

17 and I went toe to toe and I bested him using a combination of clones, medium-ranged Ki-blasts, and one nasty Ki Lightning strike that pierced his bubble shield. We didn't go until knockout, just a severe enough blow and it was good enough for Piccolo to call it.

Then it was time for the S-Class warriors...aka my dad and Vegeta.

I had a couple of rules I wanted to make a part of it, one was to push their maximums, two was that they had to fight in the upper atmosphere, and three the first one to take three devastating blows loses. They both agreed and flew up into orbit.

We had our long-range drones film as close as they could, but it just looked like explosions in the upper atmosphere to most eyes. To my Ki senses though, the battle was extremely intense.

My dad was pushing the depths of Super Saiyan Blue, making strides toward a higher form. I would be surprised if he accessed any form of Ultra Instinct before training with Whis on Beerus's world, but maybe I would be surprised.

Vegeta was unable to merge the use of Divine Ki with the Legendary Super Saiyan but he just used that transformation to equal my dads' power. He also grew to be nearly 6'6" and it seemed to fit him a lot better.

The heavens were alight with blue and green lights from each of the fighters' auras, making it look like Tarble's world as the afternoon passed. We had ordered an obscene amount of pizza for the entire staff and they arrived before the fight started. I was enjoying some delicious pizza while paying attention to the fight with my Ki senses.

Vegeta felt like he was on the cusp of something, he had been trying to combine the Legendary Transformation with his Divine Ki. He hadn't found the connection yet, but watching both of them at the cusp of the next step in their path was exciting.

Vegeta landed the first blow against my dad, a combination leading to a knockback - stomach, back, then ribs. I flared my Divine Ki, so only a few of us could feel it, including both of the fighters. My dad responded in less than thirty seconds with his combo, knee to the chest, elbow to the temple, and ki blast to the gut.

Another flare from my Ki, score was now one-to-one.

Vegeta raged and sank further into the fury of the Legendary Transformation. I haven't seen him use it to this degree and his speed and power increased but became more linear and my dad picked up on it.

The next point came from my dad once again, he broke through Vegeta's defenses with a headbutt into a mouth-Ki blast. It caught Vegeta off guard and he raged at my confirmation of the score.

Two to one, Goku.

I could feel his aura react in anger as my dad stepped forward again to try and land another strike. Vegeta blasted his aura and flew forward at my dad who barely dodged. The intense combat picked up again, clashes shaking the upper atmosphere.

Vegeta had reigned in his reckless attacks, going back to the basics he began to change the tempo. Pulling from within, he began to channel his anger into a ruthless combination.

When Goku blocked, he attacked the defenses like sieging a castle, each blow rattling Goku's foundations. With a mix of a surprisingly quick burst of power, Vegeta raised his Ki and landed a blow worthy of a point.

Goku keeled over and coughed blood as Vegeta followed up with a two-handed hammer-smash on his back, sending him flying towards the surface.

I signaled a point there, two to two.

My dad recovered and reignited his aura. He flew back up without a word and punched at Vegeta who didn't hesitate to reply. They connected on 26 blows, each blocked or returned, then each one broke through the other, Vegeta and Goku striking each other with enough power to send long-distance plumes of Ki across the sky. It was quite beautiful.

I signaled the finish with three quick bursts. Both were mad or frustrated, but that was it. They ended in a tie.

The next week had me answering my promises starting with the large bald man with a constant casual grin, named Shane Rodgers.

He looked like an unassuming middle-aged man but held himself with an aura of pride.

"Ma'am," He said with a nod.

"Welcome, have a seat." He did just that and I got his permission to help him access his spirit space. I went through my list, had him sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), and then went ahead. When we entered, I was lost for a moment surrounded by a jungle with rain falling all around.

He looked around in awe and I did the same. There weren't many trees, but the few that I could see were massive...four of them to be exact. He had pathways to two of them cleared of plants, but the others were covered with wild plants, too many colors to seem real.

One path was well-worn, having been walked down many times, but the other was new and just felt like pure potential. I wasn't sure what the connection between the cleared footpath and the trees was but I gestured for him to walk down the newer path, it felt right.

Much of this was based on a sense of the spiritual world, trying to quantify that sense can help, but it's nice to just trust it.

He walked down the path and I let him be. He woke a few hours later but he didn't offer to speak about his experience and I didn't push. I already told him that this was a path of self-discovery anyways.

Esteban was next, a lively man and I offered to help with spirit spaces, but he instead asked if he could have a slightly different wish from me.

"Please, Director, I would rather have you teach me how to sense Ki," He said.

"Oh?"

He nodded, his smile dropping for the first time, "I have been here for a long time, I can channel Ki, I can sky-dance. I cannot sense anyone."

"I see, well, let's give it a shot," I said.

He sat across from me, "So, to do any of this, including the method in which I can teach you to use Ki, I need you to understand a few things..."

I went through my checklist, had him sign an NDA, and on we went.

I connected to him and just drew his attention to the Ki around us. It was a simpler method that I have been experimenting with. A way of teaching someone to see what is around them, the method of showing a person through my lens and power.

I connect to his wavelength as if I was trying to Instant Transmission to him, with that I got a feel for what kind of person he was. This was among the things that I told him about, how it would show each other our true natures and the idea behind that. He hesitated for a moment before agreeing and feeling his true nature now full of love, gratitude, and compassion aimed at me was strange.

I was confused as to what it meant and at first, I was a little creeped out. He might have felt that and brought an image forward. A little girl that had been dying, doctors failing at every turn to save her. A dwindling bank account, a failed run at professional sports, and a wife that was losing all hope as their daughter slowly died.

Memories began to pass through our temporary connection.

An image of two parents on the last few days of their daughters' life, the last light of hope before all darkness...some kind of healer had been showing up. Someone with magical powers.

They traveled halfway across the world to the West City Hospital spending every last bit of money to make it to a special room where a certain being showed up to give miracles.

Late into the night, they had taken sleeping pills, sitting in a cramped chair, his wife on his lap, after all...the healer wouldn't do her miracles if people weren't asleep. Esteban had finally fallen asleep only to be stirred by the strangest green light. It was a dark room with ambient music playing, an aura of calm had taken over the room and he only noticed it cause of the light.

Esteban did everything in his power to hear what the mysterious healer said, "Sleep well little one, you will be better soon."

He held his breath as tears pour from his eyes, holding his wife with all his might.

The angel that saved his daughter had hair as black as night, but he would never forget her beautiful face and graceful movements. The pure green and silver healing light that had burned itself into his eyes and memory signified a debt to be paid.

He recognized her as the new princess of the world who started an organization to protect people. Esteban knew that he had to become a Z Guardian, if not to pay his debt to me, then at least to pay it forward.

I smiled at the end of his memories as his thoughts caught up. There wasn't a need for language, but I felt him trying to convey gratitude to a degree that he couldn't describe...a myriad of emotions. I just sent the warmth you feel in your chest when helping someone. I can't be all over this world, but I regularly go down to our healing clinic at the Z Force campus, healing people is easy to do and something I like to share as often as possible.

We moved forward and I shared my ability to see the world around me through the finely tuned Ki-Sensing ability that I have cultivated.

It took almost 15 minutes before his eyes opened with realization and comprehension. He was thinking of trying to break the bond, but I offered the option to enter his spirit space.

He shrugged and decided to go for it.

We saw the representations of his power, it was a list of things that were tattooed into the back of a floating man. It looked like him but it was strange. The lighting was also weird, like some noir film, but I ignored the oddness and showed him what I saw.

A bloodline of large people, their size defining them. A history of men and women who were stronger, faster, and bigger than others.

I realized that the words that made up the tattoos weren't a language but a concept. It was easier to understand, but I lacked the context to continue.

There was also something about a bear that I also didn't understand, but he looked like he got it. I let him study it for a bit and sent the idea of trying to merge in that direction, as his next step.

I was going through expense reports as one of my new assistants, someone who was more of an office receptionist for both Carina and me, led the Kitsune woman in. She wore a casual white and red kimono with a huge puffy black tail that faded into a dusting of orange at the tip.

"Director Chiyo, E-Rank Guardian Kiara is here to see you," the assistant said.

"Thank you, come have a seat!" I said happily.

"Would you like tea brought in Director?" The receptionist asked.

I was surprised at that, "Thank you, but no, we are working on something."

She bowed and walked away.

I smiled, "So, E-rank Guardian how are your Ki senses coming along?"

I was already testing her, causing ripples in the air around us.

"I am working quite hard on it actually," Her ears almost turning like a Ki and sound radar, "My range is upwards of 100 meters now."

I nodded in surprise, "Wow, not bad at all!"

She smiled lightly, as I took her through the stuff she needed to know before we could move forward, including the NDA. She agreed and we locked eyes.

I invited her to a temporary spirit connection, expecting to see a giant fox demon or something.

It wasn't at all what was there, it was a pleasant river with cherry blossoms everywhere. In the middle of the river was an island with two foxes running around a statue of a beautiful woman, features very familiar, like an older version of Kiara...maybe an ancestor or something. The statue had tails, 9 of course, and only 2 were affected by the light breeze, they had color and slightly glowed the rest being the color of gray stone.

There was an order to things here though, I immediately caught on to how she has to move forward.

I looked over to Kiara, whose spirit version of herself was as a little girl and she looked around with awe. I beckoned her over and showed her the two lit tails and her eyes seemed to widen as she saw the statue and how the tails seemed to work.

I aimed her mind at the steps she had to take, a path of knowledge and discovery into the path her ancestor left for her. She went into a trance as if receiving an epiphany. I withdrew and moved her to lie down on my couch in my office. I specifically didn't touch her tails, I wouldn't want someone to touch mine while I was unconscious...

Granolah walked into my office and I could tell that things had been annoying him. We have been sort of distant since the whole Heeter thing and haven't addressed anything about that situation beyond a basic conversation or two.

Our conversation started with awkward silence, as per usual. I decided to just offer, "So, do you want help accessing your Spirit Space?"

He looked at me with a challenge, his red eye not obscured by Oatmeel, who was lifted onto his forehead, "Why wouldn't I want your help?"

I shrugged, "It is an extremely intimate experience...I am a half-Saiyan," I let the words hang as I felt his Ki spike quickly.

"I admit that you are different from the Saiyans my memories are filled with. You are the only one with a tail and yet...you don't use it to fight."

I coughed, "That isn't entirely true," He looked up in horror.

I held my hands up in peace, "Please, don't worry, I have an inordinate amount of control with it and I only use it in a condensed form."

"Explain."

"Want me to just show you?"

He seemed hesitant, "Here?"

"No, we can go somewhere else..."

"Let's go."

I just offered my hand and he still looked skeptical. I slightly smirked, "You have to trust me a little bit by now, right?"

He just raised an eyebrow.

"Come on...I won't bite..." I said, holding back a lot of flirtatious words. Not sure why I enjoyed bugging Granola so much, but I just did.

He sighed and Oatmeel spoke up, "Just do it! She doesn't mean any harm! Right, Chiyo?"

"That's right!"

He grabbed my hand and I used Instant Transmission to get to the Lookout.

He stumbled as we had been sitting down but recovered quickly.

"Chiyo!"

"Dende! Mr. Popo! How are you?"

"We're good! Come to see Monaito, Granolah?"

"I wouldn't mind saying hello."

"Why don't we make up some tea?"

"I need to show Granolah something really fast," my tone change was enough for people to understand.

I flew up a bit, not wanting to shake the Lookout too much.

I instantly powered up into Super Saiyan 4, at least my version of it. My hair grew like mad, about as long as Goku's in SS3, but more wild and a few locks framing my face. I felt my mind go colder and more calculating, my casual expression dropping for a serious one.

My tail grew longer, nearly as long as I was tall. I didn't use any Divine Ki in the transformation but I didn't need it to just show Granolah.

My energy was strange as a bit of my human side also added a bit to the transformation, the silver rings now glowing white and I felt like I could access some Zen-Fire.

I didn't and instead just waited for Granolah to speak.

He seemed to be inspecting every part of my form, I had slightly bulked up a bit as well, "So?"

"This uses your tail's power?"

"Yes, it is inherently part of my Saiyan Bloodline, to ignore it is to ignore part of myself."

"But you aren't out of control?"

I just raised an eyebrow.

He stared for a minute, "Alright then, he nodded."

I let the transformation drop, "You still want help with your Spirit Space?"

"And this is a better way in which to harness my Ki?"

I shrugged, "It could, but more importantly it sets you on a path that can lead you to understanding who you are...what you are."

"What does that even mean?"

"That is part of it, learning what it means to be you. It isn't something I can just tell you as it means something different for every person. But for me, it's realizing that I am part human and part saiyan. I have neglected my human side for a long time, using my Saiyan Blood as a shield and sword."

He caught on, "You were ignoring half of your...self? That's what those silver rings are?"

"Hmm, part of it, I would say that the rings are part of a human...I hesitate to call it a transformation, more like an ascension or realization. I would call the Silver rings part of my human bloodline, something I have been calling the Spirit Fire Bloodline. It is a part of my path that I must merge with my Saiyan side at some point..."

"I see, so power and understanding? Or something like that?" Granolah asked.

I nodded, "Something like that, you don't have to accept..."

"No. I will do it if you will," He said quietly.

I smiled slightly, "Great!"

We walked to the edge of the Lookout and sat down. I explained what the connection between us would be while in the Spirit Space and he was alright with hit.

We connected and I accessed his Spirit Space, it felt like every direction I looked my vision would sort of 'zoom' off that way, looking for targets. I felt Granolah land next to me and look around oddly.

Words were hard in most Spirit Spaces, and communication was easier to do with emotions. I felt curiosity from Granolah, and his eye focused on a point in the distance. We sort of 'traveled' there, the distance crossed with just a look.

It was a glowing orb that matched his hair and left eye, it seemed activated but not in use. Granolah walked up to it and touched it, aura full of curiosity and he disappeared as a tendril of spiritual energy touched the orb.

I left his Spirit Space so he could get used to it.

Gohan and Videl's Coronation as the new King and Queen of the Dragon World was pushed back a bit. Videl had been pregnant and the delivery date was almost the same time as the planned coronation.

Instead, they decided to let Videl have some time to recover. She had all the support of the Z Force with her and Gohan's Maternity and Paternity leaves so that wasn't an issue.

I know they are essentially rich with what Hercule gifted them, but I made sure they were taken care of. I was there with Videl when she gave birth, I didn't run it, but I healed both mom and daughter immediately after she was born.

Pouring some energy into Videl after she gave birth seemed to help her calm down a bit in conjunction with my aura, but it was a very happy and emotional moment. Also, it turns out that Doctors are extremely skeptical of healing abilities but I just was able to ignore that.

After a month of rest and relaxation(Constant struggles to take care of a newborn) they were ready for the coronation ceremony.

Grandpa Hercule was watching over Pan like a Z Guardian and couldn't decide between crying in happiness that his daughter was about to become the literal Queen of Earth or crying in adorable overload from little Pan. It was an interesting series of emotions that constantly fought for prominence on his face.

Tens of thousands of people flocked to the Capitol City, and even thousands made it onto the Palace grounds. It was an amazing ceremony where my brother and Videl were showcased and celebrated.

The many endeavors the new Monarchs had put into effect had given them a fantastic view of the world. The last few years working with King Furry had let them form a positive image. Their efforts helped many people by bringing infrastructure, food, and technology to the distant corners of the world.

Their largest contribution had been a campaign called Feed the Dragon World. Gohan and Videl had done wonders to ensure that fewer people were going hungry and a large part of it was from their efforts with getting food to poorer provinces all over. It had made them extremely popular and they were on every news channel worldwide, and thousands had come to support them.

The actual ceremony was relatively fast, with Gohan and Videl both making speeches along with King Furry. I also made a speech, written by me and heavily edited and pretty much rewritten by Carina. I just used her version and it was all I needed.

I had been feeding my brother as many positive emotions as I could through our bond, and it helped with his speech.

King Furry himself had crowned Gohan and Videl, with simple crowns made of steel for Gohan and silver for Videl. It was meant to be the opposite of opulent, a weight of responsibility.

King Furry had looked on proudly as they took over for him. He was well-liked amongst the civilian population and people were sad to see him retire, but happy that Gohan and Videl were taking over.

When my brother finished his speech he had a powerful feeling of accomplishment and pride overflowing from his side. I smiled that Gohan could make a huge difference by doing something other than fighting and being a researcher. Instead, he has already helped thousands, not even counting saving the world from the many threats that have surfaced.

This was going to be a golden age for the Dragon World, as long as we can make Beerus happy.

The year continued and Bulma's birthday was fast approaching, otherwise known as the day that Beerus and Whis will show up on Earth, looking for his 'Arch Rival.'

I was currently in heated negotiations with Bulma herself, "I want all three."

"1 for me, 1 for you, 1 for your bingo tournament," I said.

"You are just going to win it anyways..."

"I want that Portable Castle..."

"Of course, you know all the prizes already," Bulma laughed.

I smiled deviously at her, "Did you doubt me?"

"I would never, are you sure I can't have two?"

"Bulma, just wish to have a younger version of your body, like when you were 24 or something, instead of fixing individual things..." I guessed.

She turned red, "CHIYO! I wasn't going to use it for that..."

I raised an eyebrow at her, "Look, I know my mom would never agree to be younger, but I have a feeling that both Goku and Vegeta are going to live for a very long time... and they will look the same."

Bulma stared at me, "Is that why you look 'exactly' the same, despite being here for years now?"

I didn't make eye contact, "I can't be sure, but it certainly feels like I am not getting older..."

Bulma nodded, "I wasn't sure if it was your saiyan genes or not, but I have spent too much time around you to know that you look the same."

I nodded, "Gohan agreed to become a god as well and...I worry that I screwed up, that I might have set him up for unbelievable grief in the future. I can see Videl wanting to move on..."

Bulma raised an eyebrow, "But not me?"

"Do you?"

"I guess not, but going for full immortality sounds a bit ridiculous," She said.

"So, 1 for me, 1 for you, 1 for your Bingo tournament?"

"That's three wishes, you got a deal!" Bulma said, trying to turn the conversation happier, "And...I will try to be there for you Chiyo. I know you are worried about the future, but we have a lot of time before you need to worry."

"Thank you, Bulma."

"Of course, now, let's plan out my amazing birthday!"

On a distant world, oddly shaped like an upside-down pyramid with a massive tree on top, a being stirred from 39 years of slumber.

"Ohhh Whiiiis! I am hungry!"

"Of course my lord, is there anything that you are craving?" The angel replied.

"Hmmmm, I don't know, surprise me!" The deep voice of the feline humanoid said.

"Very well," Whis said as he walked away.

The Lord of the planet followed, "You know, I had the strangest dream, but I can't quite remember it...like I can see it for a second but then it just slips away."

"Hmmm, maybe it wasn't exactly as you remember it," Whis said.

The Destroyer's eyes narrowed, "Are you questioning me?"

"No my lord, but it just seems like you don't remember, perhaps some breakfast will help jog your memory?"

"Hmmm, yes, we should go acquire something special for breakfast! It must be worthy of a DESTROYER!"

"Do you have something in mind?"

"Yes, I seem to remember hearing about a planet with large dinosaurs on it, and they had the tastiest meat. Truly a divine meal," Beerus said wistfully.

"I believe I know which world you are speaking of, would you allow me the time to acquire one so you don't destroy it? It is the only place to acquire that particular type of meat..."

"Hmmmm, three minutes..."

Whis took off, flying through space faster than any other being was capable of. He landed on the planet where a group of Dino-Men were hauling the fresh Tyrannosaurus Kill.

He made contact with the much larger Chief of the Dino-Men who refused to give up his meal.

During the heated negotiations, Lord Beerus grew impatient and appeared on the world near Whis, "Times up!"

"It has only been two minutes and twenty seconds, and you know it!"

"It feels like it's been two centuries and twenty years!" Beerus yelled.

"Oh pish-posh! I still don't get why you are always so irritable for the first few years after you wake up," Whis replied. "You know this dinosaur meat being delicious is only a rumor..."

"I am well aware of that, but I still think it's worth a try. If the stories are true then it packs a flavor that is unrivaled throughout the cosmos," Beerus said as he licked his lips, "I am hoping it jogs my senses and helps me remember the figure from my dream."

The Dino-man that had been staring at the two gods finally grew tired of being ignored and attacked. That would prove to be a fatal mistake.

Beerus blocked all of his attacks with only a finger, "I find you dreadfully boring."

He then charged up a tiny ball of purple energy which dropped slowly into the ground. The planet began to shake as his destruction Ki destabilized the planet, causing it to explode.

"Are you sure that was wise? The meat could have helped you."

In the depths of the blast, Beerus found inspiration and recollection from his dreams, "It is no longer required."

"Oh? Is that so?"

"Yes, I planned for the flavor to job my sleepy mind, but it's this full-bodied explosion that's done the trick!" Beerus said with excitement. "Now I see him clearly, the ultimate fighter, waiting to be awoken. His power will keep me suitably entertained. Now the image has a name."

"Then, by all means, let us hear it," Whis said skeptically.

"What was it? It starts with an S, a Super something. Yes! A Super Saiyan God!"

"A Super Saiyan God? Are you sure?"

"I think, or is that wrong? Or am I forgetting it again...That's the problem with visions, they are slippery."

"Apparently so, although I wouldn't strain your mind too much about it, why don't we go back and get you fed."

"You don't have to ask me twice!"

The night before Bulma's birthday had been a terrifying day for me. All week the Supreme Kai had been contacting me telepathically to tell me of the worlds Beerus was destroying. I thought it was around 8 or 9 or so before he made his way here and that number seemed to not be acceptable. I told them that if I stepped in that I risked all of Universe 7.

After all, if its strongest fighters are destroyed, then who will be there to stand when we are told our mortal level is too low? No one, the universe would be erased. My last resort would be to convince Beerus I am a seer and that I know what will be happening soon, but that will be difficult to prove if I can't get in his good graces.

My dad wanted to go to King Kai's world for training, but I made sure to rub in the fact that Vegeta would be training in way heavier gravity while he wasted his time there. That was enough for him to meet Vegeta and get their morning routines in, just as I planned.

I had everything prepared, food, pudding, and even things for Beerus and Whis to take with them back to their home world. It was all prepared and I just had to meet him.

Bulma's party would start soon and I didn't put on a dress or anything like that but instead got into a comfortable set of gi-style pants, my sports bra/dragon jacket combo, and put a slight amount of make-up on. Just eye-liner...I don't need to go crazy.

My official bodyguards, who used to be Yamu and Ivan were now Ivan and Kiara the Kitsune. It turned out that Yamu wanted to get more into patrolling the world and Kiara had applied to be my second guard. It wasn't that I needed them, but that they helped me deal with crowds and such. Gohan and Videl had a few that stayed with them as well. Other new members that worked as a Secret Service sort of deal.

It turned out well though as Kiara had been rising in power drastically since I helped her access her spirit space, now fully ahead of Ivan in sheer power. She also had awakened some sort of magical power that was letting her conjure energy constructs. It was very beautiful to watch. The two bodyguards had been working with Carina Florez and me to prepare for today, the arrival of the Destroyer.

The three of us stepped out of the Capsule Jet that brought us over from the Z Force campus and Ivan put the ship back into its Capsule form. We walked out of the Hangar and onto the deck of Bulma's Cruise ship, which of course was named 'The Princess Bulma.' Everyone was casually mingling as servants and hired guards finished setting things up.

I waved at my mom who was mingling with 18 and Bulma, while Goten and Trunks were flying around with huge smiles, flowered shirts on both of them.

"Alright, now we just have to wait," I said to myself.

Kiara laughed and Ivan snorted before speaking, "Princess...if you sit here and worry the whole time it will take forever.."

"I know that! You don't think I know that?!"

He laughed again, "Fair enough, at least get one of those smoothies you love."

I raised an eyebrow at that, "I will because I want to, not because you suggested it." I said that with a matter-of-fact tone, but one that he and Kiara immediately started laughing at as they knew I was kidding.

I got a delicious mango, strawberry, and orange juice smoothie and it helped calm my nerves. I destroyed it! I mean, I drank it in a reasonable amount of time.

About two and a half hours and I felt it. Something traveling faster than anything I had felt before. They appeared coming from some wild tangent outside of our galaxy. They flew like a divine comet, streaking through the cosmos in a beautiful rainbow light. That was Lord Beerus and Whis, incoming.

Once I locked onto them I stiffened, "It's time."

Kiara and Ivan nodded, I stood and looked over to Bulma, sending a tendril of Ki in her direction and she saw my stern face. She nodded resolutely but maintained her mask of joy despite the nervousness.

I made my bodyguards put a hand on my shoulders and we Instant Transmission'd back to Z Force HQ. They opened the roof to the large main arena and I flew out there as people grabbed my dad and Vegeta. I quickly transformed into a Super Saiyan God, spiking my Ki three times as if to say, "Hey there guys!"

Whis and Beerus adjusted their angle as my dad and Vegeta appeared. Piccolo and Tien not too far behind. Our full staff was ready for this event, watching from the control room.

"They are coming then?" Vegeta asked.

I turned and looked at him and my smiling dad, they hadn't gone too hard this morning it seems, "Yes, should be here any second. Let me do the talking unless they directly speak to you. Do you both remember my promise?"

Vegeta scoffed and my dad looked thoughtful, "Hmmmm, oh yeah! Don't try to fight him until you say!"

"That's right because he does want to fight you, but we have to set it up right first, alright...here they come."

I looked over to the control room windows and nodded at Rebecca Voss, I saw Carina in the room as well, but I raised my eyes to the ball of destruction coming towards us.

I took one last deep breath as they landed about 10 meters from us.

There in the flesh, a blue man with a staff, slightly smiling. Behind him, a large set of ears poked out, Beerus leaning around to look at us.

I bowed at them both, "Lord Beerus, Angel Whis, thank you for coming today, you honor our planet with your arrival," I said making eye contact with them as I bowed.

Lord Beerus stepped out and he did a full up and down on me, then my dad and Vegeta, "Flowery words there Saiyan, I was unaware that so many of you remained."

I tried to smile a bit, but my heart was thrumming in my chest, usually, Beerus decides how he interacts with people at first glance. That last statement wasn't exactly hostile, but it was definitely measured.

"There are a few of us, and yet you are here to find a specific one, are you not?"

"That is fairly presumptuous of you girl," his voice now growling.

I bowed, "Forgive me Lord Beerus, I am a bit of a Seer myself. I have seen that you are looking for a Super Saiyan God, a person to entertain you with their power."

"I wouldn't say I am a Seer, it was more of a premonition..."

"I see, well I happen to know exactly who it is."

His eyes narrowed, "And you would hold this information from me?"

I smiled again, "Not at all, he is right here." I just gestured to my dad, hearing another scoff from Vegeta.

"Is that so, now I recognize this saiyan here, Prince Vegeta, isn't it?" Beerus asked.

"Yes, Lord Beerus," Vegeta said, nearly shaking in his boots.

"Hiya, Lord Beerus! I'm Goku!"

"Hmmmm, Goku...this would be the one you claim to be a Super Saiyan God then? Tell me Goku, was it you who signaled us here?"

"OH! No, that was my daughter, Chiyo," He said, gesturing to me.

I smiled and waved. Before my dad could continue speaking, Beerus spoke over him.

"Hmmm, and those two over there...I sense Divine Ki from them as well...all of you are God's then?" Beerus asked.

I distinctly felt about 30 auras recoil in shock. I turned swiftly and looked over to the control room, everyone was staring at us with wide eyes. The conversation was being watched and recorded. I have been claiming Beerus was a God of Destruction for years now, but not once have I mentioned being a god. I guess I have a bit of explaining to do when this is over...

Piccolo and Tien both nodded as well, they were standing further back but watching nervously.

"Well, then girl...Chiyo was it?"

I nodded, "Yes, sir."

"Can you guarantee me your father won't bore me?"

"I cannot, however, I have seen you and him in amazing combat already. I believe that you enjoyed yourself enough to not destroy the planet. However, I won't say that it was because of the fighting because that was secondary to what you enjoyed the most in my vision," I explained, and Whis raised an eyebrow at me.

"Earth here has the best cuisine and desserts in this universe...or your brothers," I said with a small smirk.

"That is quite a claim Saiyan...you better not disappoint me," Beerus said menacingly.

It was fucking terrifying. He didn't have a visible aura, but my Ki Sense was overwhelmed by a Divine Ki source that seemed to literally tear apart anything that came into contact with it. I won't hesitate to admit my fear, even if I was strong enough, there is no beating a destroyer, at least not yet.

Whis spoke up, "Hmm, you seem to know quite a bit as a seer. Tell me, Chiyo, are you also part human?"

"I am Angel Whis," I said with a nod.

"Please, just Whis is fine."

"Thank you, Whis, you may call me Chiyo. I am half-Saiyan and half-human, my dad married a princess on Earth."

Beerus spoke next, "I see, Saiyans and humans seem to be able to mate...how curious."

"Well, I was just bringing it up because you seem to have partially ascended and I was wondering what was holding you back?" Whis asked.

I looked shocked at him, "Uh, I...I don't know, do you mean these rings?"

"Indeed, it is a powerful human bloodline it seems, yet you haven't fully allowed it to ascend for some reason."

"I confess that I do not know how, though I have been experimenting."

He just nodded.

"Anyways, a Super Saiyan God then..." Beerus said.

"Ah yes, would you be willing to spar with my dad so he can show you what he has learned so far?" I asked.

"You want this fledgling god to fight me? You realize gods fear me as well. Your little pantheon here should be trembling in fear."

"I believe most of us are," I said with a smirk, hiding my shaking hands. "So, would you be interested in a heated spar with at least my dad, before enjoying a party with amazing food? I have set up a competition that you may both be the judges of, should you wish to do so."

"I admit I do appreciate the respect being shown, it is a quick way to destruction to not do so," Beerus explained his leniency.

I bowed again, "It would be rude to not show the utmost respect to any Deity, especially our Lord Destroyer!"

"Hmmm, alright then, an actual Super Saiyan God, I am looking forward to this. AND YOU BETTER NOT BE LYING ABOUT THE FOOD, GIRL!" Beerus yelled.

I smiled at that, "Of course, I wouldn't."

We walked away and I asked one thing, "Would you both mind fighting in the upper atmosphere? I would like to keep our planet in its proper alignment!" I said with a joking smile.

Beerus seemed to have calmed down a bit, so I tried to sort of make a joke that he would be a part of. A compliment about his power and a joke against everyone, affecting both parties equally.

"A destroyer does what he wants, girl!"

I nodded at him, but he smiled as he said it.

Whis floated over and stood next to us as my dad began to power up. I took the opportunity to settle near him, "Lord Whis, I have a gift for you both, by the way."

"Oh? A gift? How thoughtful!" Whis said.

"It is! I have a Capsule here with a pallet of one of our planet's most-loved meals!"

"You have my attention, my dear!"

"Well, I don't know if we will survive, but I would send an invitation to the both of you to come and eat here whenever," I said, as my dad and Beerus exchanged words, "I know for a fact that our food is amazing, and I want to share it with you both."

"Wow, thank you so much!" Whis said as he put the Capsule in some dimensional space with his staff.

Just then my dad went straight into Super Saiyan God, red hair flying around as he slimmed down.

"Truly a divine form, wonderfully done, Goku!" Beerus praised.

Whis leaned over, "You have also accessed Super Saiyan God?"

"I have, but am still working out how my Human side works."

"You are impressive, young Chiyo. I am curious to see what else you are hiding."

"A lot, fortunately, for this universe."

He raised an eyebrow at that, "I would love to hear more."

I smiled, "Another time, perhaps."

My dad finished powering up, but not yet going Super Saiyan Blue, "Alright Beerus! Here I Come!"

The fight was immediately engaged with my dad's war cry. He threw a massive punch, but it just looked like it wasn't worth Beerus's time. He blocked it with his palm. Beerus just smirked at him and continued either blocking or dodging the barrage the attacks easily.

Goku looked frustrated for a second before trying to land a single blow again. He re-engaged as Beerus kept fighting defensively, maybe still assessing him.

"Beerus! Are you going to fight back? Or just keep dodging and blocking?"

Beerus just smiled ominously.

My dad stepped forward about to attack but blasted backward as if dodging an attack that had yet to come.

Beerus raised an eyebrow, "Impressive, Saiyan."

Goku looked down at his feet, "Whoah...I don't know what happened like my body just moved on its own!"

Beerus nodded, "Indeed, at that moment I was about to attack you, but it seems you instinctually dodge it, I have to say I am impressed, so I will accept your offer and begin to take this fight seriously."

Beerus rose through the open roof and into the sky. Goku followed him shortly after, his face full of determination and excitement.

I could sense them easily, having attuned to Divine Ki long ago, but I wasn't prepared for the moment Beerus decided to unleash a bit of his power. He summoned a massive ball of firey Ki and it made me feel like an ant in front of the Sun. It wasn't destruction, just some of Beerus's Divine Ki.

The weight of his power was almost overwhelming and he launched the ball at my dad. It had enough power to easily destroy the planet, hell our sun even.

Goku powered up to Super Saiyan Blue and clashed with the power, taking all of his might to throw it out into space. The blast lit up this side of the planet and immediately my phone began ringing.

"Yeah, this is us. Just like I said, go ahead with announcements if you want. I will do a press release in two days with the information," I said to our retired King Furry. Gohan knew what was happening, hell Furry did too, but he didn't expect a second sun. I described it as a couple of earthquakes. I might have undersold it.

"I am impressed with your Divine Ki-Sense. You seem to be on quite the path, young Chiyo. Tell me, have you considered becoming a God of Destruction?"

I laughed nervously, "Only if I get to design the planet."

He laughed, "Of course."

"Are you serious?"

"It is just a thought, nothing is set in stone. Especially if Lord Beerus decides to destroy the Earth."

I nodded, "I understand, I still have to sell you guys on our food!"

The battle must have started to get heated as those promised earthquakes began. It was different than the power that we all could produce. Gohan and I had both partially destroyed a world about half the size of the Earth with different attacks. That didn't compare to what was happening right now.

Reality itself was shaking. Ripples through the fabric of space began to crash across our solar system. I tried to put a Ki Shield up hoping to protect it, but it was beyond Ki. I didn't understand it at all.

Bulma was next, "Chiyo! This isn't just a 'few' earthquakes! WHAT IS HAPPENING?"

"It will stop soon hopefully!" I said as I ended the call.

Then King Kai telepathically messaged me, "YOU HAVE TO STOP THEM CHIYO!"

"I CAN'T! I TRIED!" I yelled back at him.

I teleported to the control room and sent out a healing field that seemed to dampen the effects. My silver rings powered up and I accessed divine Ki in this form...my hair turned white as I felt Beerus and my dad power up further.

"HOLD ON EVERYONE!" My aura was empowered through the upgraded transformation.

I had the idea to try and pull some of the Ki from their blasts out and burn it with my Zen-Fire, but it wasn't going to work as they would be destroyed if they contacted the energy.

I did realize that my Healing ability was enhanced with the Spirit Fire bloodline, my visual Ki looking like dancing flames as it warmed and healed people.

The reality-shaking waves reached a crazy pinnacle, growing more powerful as they continued away from our planet.

I got a call on my watch from Mr. Satan, "CHIYOOO, WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE!? I got the news trying to get ahold of me! It's making me look bad!"

"Just tell them I will make an announcement, and I SWEAR TO KAMI, if you take an ounce of credit for either causing or stopping these events then I will END YOU!" I yelled into my phone. I wouldn't actually end him...

He audibly gulped, "I...I will tell them that Ms Chiyo."

"GOOD!" I hung up.

And finally, the shockwaves stopped.

The fight didn't, but it moved to the next level, one with more control.

Beerus did something crazy with his Ki, summoning a massive Sphinx-like cat, made entirely of purple and gold ki. Some destruction, some just normal Divine Ki.

Goku floated on the edge of space, staring in awe at the massive sphinx. He thought for a second and responded, a golden-blue dragon, looking just like Shenron, manifested from his aura.

Beerus hid his surprise well if he was at all, but the two massive Ki-avatars engaged, a swipe from the sphinx and a lashing tail whip from the dragon.

They fought for a minute or two, but it seemed to be too taxing or something. The avatars receded into their owner's aura.

Words were exchanged and Beerus raised his right arm. A purple sphere, resembling a gyroscope the size of a car appeared above his pointed finger.

Goku got into a familiar stance, the blue Ki of a Kamehameha starting to form.

Beerus had the terrifying grin of a God that knew his power was second to none.

Contempt wasn't even needed, it was just already below his notice.

Beerus flung the ball at Goku, the energy was beyond what I could comprehend. It was just an endless void of perfectly controlled Ki.

Goku didn't even need the words as his Ki flowed perfectly according to his will. The Kamehameha formed, the most powerful attack Goku had ever created, surpassing any Spirit Bomb or other attack to this day. It launched with the speed and force of a god's will. The blast impacted Beerus's Destruction Sphere.

I wish I could hear what was being said, but I could distinctly feel my dad's energy continuously rising. His Saiyan blood was happy to step up.

A clash formed, and both Ki attacks destabilizing and fusing again. The force which the two gods were pushing condensed the energy to a small point in which a spark began to form. Not like my Ki lightning, but rather a high-pressure state of pure volatility. It was a bomb already exploding and held at bay by the two warriors and their willpower.

A bomb with enough energy to drop Universe 7 from the 'existing' column and put it firmly in the 'it's gone' one.

Another set of destruction-reality waves cascaded out, followed by the sphere going past another threshold. This one is enough to break their hold on it.

I waited with my breath held, eyes shut, and fingers crossed. The shaking of the planet stopped and...nothing happened.

Beerus did something as he slowly powered down. His Ki levels were so far above what I could grasp that it was almost just as effective to look at him that to even bother trying to sense it.

Clashes began again, the destruction waves we absent and it was fully taking place in orbit. They fought with what felt like the desire to end the fight.

But neither back down.

It took place over a larger area than any other fight I had witnessed before as Beerus knocked Goku down to the surface and he splashed deep into the Ocean. Beerus followed and launched him back into space.

Sensing the battle was taxing, as the constant obscene amounts of energy being displaced every second was more than many civilizations would use throughout their existence. It felt like my spirit was being burned by sending it out to read what was happening.

The Gods were once again in orbit and they paused to exchange words once again. Then Beerus decided that he was finished, and he created an even larger ball of energy than before.

Goku felt the difference in power as he forced another Kamehameha to form. He poured nearly all of his strength into it, knowing that it was the only way to stop Beerus's attack.

Then it was abundantly clear how much stronger Beerus was than all of us.

His orb connected Goku's attack, spinning it into a sphere. It ignited like the last one, but then it seemed to stabilize into a true Divine Solar Star. The waves of golden Ki flying off of it resembled solar flares from the sun as they tore off in every direction.

The orb sat there and Beerus snapped twice, each time making the orb precisely grow to another magnitude. His control over the Ki was perfect and it showed as the precise infusion of energy happened the second he wanted it to. This was a being who had complete control over his surroundings, that included anyone who found themselves in his Universe.

My dad valiantly tried to stop the star from descending. He screamed loud enough to echo through the atmosphere, but it wasn't enough.

Beerus snapped again and the orb exploded, leaving Goku floating unconscious in his base form. The energy wasn't all released as no shockwave hit the planet, just the light.

His body fell from space and I teleported up to catch him as he entered the atmosphere again. I met everyone else on the ground as I healed my dad on the way down.

"Wow, what a catch Chiyo!" My dad said tiredly.

"Great fight Dad! Ready to get some food?" I asked.

"I am pretty tired, but I could eat!" He said, his left eye bruised over.

He looked like hell and I snorted at him, but he let me carry him down.

"You know, it feels like it should be the other way around, you know?" He said.

"What, me carrying you?"

"Hehehe, yeah!"

I brought my dad back down into the arena and finished healing my dad as Beerus floated down gently. I waited for him to speak but he just watched me heal and stand straight afterwards.

I broke the silence, "How was the fight Lord Beerus?"

"Hmmm, not bad, Princess..." He said the last word with slight derision, but I paid it no mind.

"Are you interested in more fighting? Or would you like to judge a food competition?" I asked.

"And if I choose to fight?"

"You have a few options, but I know Prince Vegeta might be interested,"

"WHAT?!" Vegeta said.

"Really? And what if I want to fight you...half-human, half-saiyan?" Beerus said, ignoring Vegeta.

"I would be honored by the chance to test myself," I said, not backing down.

"That was a fine display of martial arts my Lord, are you hungry?" Whis asked.

"Thank you Whis, it wasn't so bad of a time... however," Beerus said his gaze not leaving mine, "I am not finished with this one."

I fucking gulped.

"What can I help you with, Lord Beerus?" I said quietly.

"Goku has been trained by an Angel...hasn't he?"

I looked at my dad who seems oblivious to the tension now that he was healed, "Oh yeah!" He said, "Chiyo introduced me to Merus! We trained together for a while!"

Beerus looked like he was ready to destroy everything and Whis looked suspicious of me.

"Well, isn't that interesting," Beerus asked rhetorically. "And tell me, girl...how did you know about Merus?"

"I...am a seer of sorts.."

"Don't lie to me."

"I am not-"

"So you say you are a Seer," The menacing tone never left his voice, "Then what happens in the future?"

I finally had a bit of confidence, "We all eat a delicious meal."

"WHAT!?"

"I cannot see what happens if I tell you the future, only what happens if I don't," I said ominously.

"Why should I not destroy you right here and now?"

"Because you need me...you need all of us."

"Explain."

"No."

Whis raised an eyebrow at that but didn't seem offended.

"You sit here and tamper with time-" He began but I interrupted.

"No! I have never tampered with time, only tried to make the world in my image of peace."

His eyes narrowed, "Is that so? And what have you done to further that goal?"

I smiled internally but kept my cool, "I helped the Supreme Kai by orchestrating a plan to take down Babidi the Wizard, Debura the Demon King, and Majin Buu."

His eyes bulged, "WHAT?"

Whis looked shocked as he grabbed his staff, "Interesting..." He projected an image of the fight at about 100x normal speed until the end. It was a clear image of me powering up an attack and killing Majin Buu, cracking the planet as nearly a quarter of it was destroyed and blasted away.

Beerus spoke again, "Impressive, but still how does Merus factor into your equations?"

"In the near future, the World-Eater Moro escapes and goes on a rampage to destroy and consume everything. Way down the timeline Merus eventually trains Goku and he can learn Ultra Instinct...or at least his version of it. I have been working towards fighting Moro with almost all of my actions.

"I learned the Spirit Control required to use the Spirit Fission technique. I went to Merus with more options to chain Moro down and I acquired a sword that will hopefully be enough when the time comes," I finished my rant only to look up and see both God and Angel staring at me with wide eyes.

"I must say Chiyo, I am very impressed with your initiative," Whis said.

"I want to see this sword you are talking about," Beerus demanded.

I sighed, the energy cost is extensive but I readied myself anyways, "Do you mind if I fly up a bit?"

He just shrugged.

I went maybe 100 feet up and powered up. I didn't bother with my human side and went for my more comfortable one, straight into Super Saiyan Blue. The entire time I powered up I tried to pull from different areas within myself. Starting with my Oozaru side, I pulled it into the pathway to divine Saiyan.

I then tried to find a higher level and immediately my senses were pulled to my silver rings. I thought they would be silver or white, as I accessed my Saiyan side but they were glowing a beautiful metallic gold.

I didn't have time to think about it and instead looked over at my blessing from Shenron, taking the form of a miniature version of himself. The little dragon slid down my arm and I poured energy into it, the massive blade forming in my hands, nearly 10 feet of blazing steel with a huge golden handle.

The massive blade, an Odachi, radiated power and the will to cut through anything.

Beerus appeared next to me and he inspected the blade closely. It was taking most of my concentration to even hold it. Just having it conjured takes so much of my energy, but if it helps against fighting Moro...then so be it.

He pulled it from my grasp and punched me in the gut.

I doubled over and spat blood, gasping for air, I was falling but he grabbed me by the hair to stop me. I quickly lifted myself with ki, but he was still holding on.

"You dare try to mimic destruction with this paltry weapon?!"

I couldn't breathe much less speak, but I shook my head as I gasped.

"Hakai."

My eyes went wide with shock, and the sword dissolved into purple energy. Pure destruction.

I felt a shaking within my Spirit Space as Shenron's blessing was destroyed in its entirety.

The emptiness within was horrifying.

"No...I can feel it right now, your will is strong, look at this," Beerus said.

I finally was able to channel Ki and some of my fears were alleviated as I was able to begin healing myself. I could do it with pure spirit control since I have been doing it for so long. I was worried he just destroyed the ability to heal within me.

His left hand which had held my weapon against Moro now contained a growing purple ball of energy. I instinctually knew it was destruction.

The energy itself felt like Beerus was proclaiming that anything he wanted to, could and would be destroyed. The energy looked like an atom, with rings rotating around the inner core as it grew in power.

The second he began to power it up, I found myself transfixed by it. The energy, a manifestation of Beerus's will for destruction, his idea of how everything can be destroyed, and his own personal Divine Ki all mixed.

It continued to grow as the atomic structure began to break down, destruction within destruction, and it became a sphere of purple and black energy constantly warring to destroy the other color.

"Yesssss, I thought so...Whis, it looks like we have a special one here," Beerus said with menace in his voice.
