Welcome to the Legends of Aqua Laguna, today we'll talk about the tale of Kavarra, (Blake: Her whole tale?/ Penny: This is certainly different.) also known as the Immortal Slaughterer or the Venomous Death-Walker.
"I'm still trying to understand if all three of these Heroines are crazy or mass murderers." Ren commented, "I think I heard Shakara say that you dont have to be a good guy to be a hero." Pyrrha recalled, "...If I didn't experience that myself, I'd say that's bullsh*t..." Cinder admitted, Emerald giving her a smile which did not go unnoticed by Cinder who looked away.
In the now disbanded Kingdom of Solara, (Yang: There's MORE Kingdoms in Aqua Laguna!?/ Winter: I find it more surprising that there have been Kingdoms that have been disbanded!) nestled amidst lush greenery, there lived a young woman named Kavarra. (Jaune: I didnt think there would be reletable things in any of these./ Penny: One person can always relate to one another.) With her vibrant green hair cascading down her back, she toiled as a blacksmith outside the kingdom walls, (Weiss: Blacksmith? How old is she?/ Ruby: I made Crescent Rose at Signal./ Ren: We have to take into consideration that it's Aqua Laguna./ Weiss: Right, Oracle did say time there is counted differently.) seeking solace in the rhythmic clang of her hammer against the anvil. Little did she know that her destiny was on the precipice of transformation.
"Okay, yeah, becoming a Hero must be quite the change, but transformation seems a little much." Jaune commented, "I don't think that's what he meant." Blake responded, "Oh! Could it be a transformation like Gleam before!?" Nora suggested, really wanting to see more of that.
One fateful day, during her first harrowing adventure, Kavarra faced a formidable opponent. (Ruby-Cinder: Haven't we all? *Looks at eachother surprised.*/ Yang: That's progress.) The clash of steel echoed through the air as she valiantly fought, her skills honed from countless hours of practice. (Winter: Hours!? That's not nearly enough for someone who probably never fought!/ Penny: If there's a tale about her she must have won though.) But in a cruel twist of fate, her opponent's blade found its mark, shattering her blade and cleaving her head in two. (Penny: Or not.../ Nora: ...She died!?/ Blake: That seems like it, but Penny is right, if there's a tale about her she must have won." It was at this moment that her fate took a dark turn.
Everyone's eyes widened at that, "Dark turn? She got her head done like a banana! How can it get darker!?" Yang made a pun as she said that, no one noticed and agreed with her.
A peculiar parasite, drawn to the scent of death, seized the opportunity to enter Kavarra's ravaged body. (Cinder: A parasite?/ Jaune: Don't parasites attach to things that are, well, alive?) As the parasite made its home within her, her once vibrant hair and fair complexion began to wither, turning a ghostly shade of grey. (Ren: It quickened her decay?/ Weiss: That doesn't seem to right...) Her blood, tainted by the presence of the parasite, transformed into a mesmerizing shade of green, a testament to the darkness that now coursed through her veins.
"Her blood turn- Wait it brought her back to life!?" Emerald exclaimed in realization, "There's no way! No recorded parasite can bring the dead back to life!" Penny shot down, "But it's still Aqua Laguna, who knows what horrible creatures are considered parasites..." Ren reminded once more.
But even in her undead state, Kavarra retained her indomitable spirit and unwavering sense of justice. (Winter: Her will power sounds insane.../ Nora: It's incredible! Coming back from the death just to continue fighting!/ Yang: it sounds like a plot in an action movie!) Though her mind was plagued by insanity, (Emerald: Yeah... Getting your head opened is going to do that.../ Jaune: I almost forgot that happened...) she managed to maintain a glimmer of her heroic nature. This strange amalgamation of a heroine's mind trapped within a decaying body became her defining characteristic.
"Is she still going around?" Ruby suggested, "That would really be something... Something horrifying that is." Cinder responded, "Imagine going around minding your own business when you see a literal zombie fishing." Nora laid out the scenario, to which everyone shivered.
Intriguingly, her encounter with the parasite granted her immortality, (Weiss: Okay, is being immortal a requirement to being named as an Hero?/ Blake: It would make it way better, an immortal fighter that can always get back up.) an existence that defied the boundaries of life and death. Her body, though rotted and disfigured, possessed a remarkable regenerative ability. (Pyrrha: So she's not immortal?) The wounds that would have felled any mortal being were mere inconveniences to her.
"So she's immortal cause she can regenerate mortal wounds, but it's still incredibly broken in that case." Jaune thought outloud, "If you can't die due to damage you might as well be immortal, and being undead means she won't die of old age either." Cinder added, "That's true, and even if the parasite died, it must have laid tons of eggs." Penny informed.
During her second adventure, Kavarra made a startling discovery. Her toxic blood, (Emerald: Of course her blood is toxic.) a result of the parasitic infestation, (Emerald: That's not the reason I thought./ Blake: What did you think it was?/ Emerald: That it was rotten and infected.) held immense power. Harnessing this newfound strength, she made use of her skills as a blacksmith, forging a pair of knives with her blood, which she named the Venomous Twins. (Yang: Forging with your own blood sounds so metal!/ Nora: I want something like that!/ Ren: Nora, no.) With meticulous practice, she mastered the art of wielding these lethal blades, their sharp edges infused with the deadly poison that coursed through her veins.
"I guess that's the last change Kavarra's persona ever took, the video is almost over." Weiss commented, "You know, I wonder if the Three Heroines ever worked together..." Ruby thought, "There must have been some occasions." Winter replied.
And that is Kavarra, the Second Heroine, in the next episode we'll talk about The Crazed Dragon, Fande.
"They might all be crazy after all." Ren deduced, "Better than nothing I guess." Penny said as Weiss pressed next.
