Chapter 26: Bringing the payback, Hinata Vs Sakura
The roaring of the cheering spectators went throughout the arena as they were still amazed and surprised by the match between Naruto and Neji, and even as exhausted from the match that the competitors had just went through, the blond still was still happy upon hearing them cheer for him.
Praise for both Naruto and Neji were heard throughout the crowds.
"Man that was awesome!"
"Incredible!"
"Uzumaki's got some amazing skills."
"Don't you mean Namikaze now?"
"Man that was a real surprise!"
"I can't believe we were never told!"
"Both of them are make far in the shinobi world."
"Man, that Hyuga kid was good."
"Yeah, he's from the branch families right?"
"Apparently, I don't know if I can take anymore surprises. . ."
"Same here. . ."
This and such praises were heard from those spectators that just seen first hand what the two young genin's were capable, while the others that didn't shared this beliefs were either still in disbelief or in denial.
Within the crater of the battlefield. . .
As the blond was heading towards the area for competitors go to get a quick fix up, Naruto smiled and chuckled at hearing some of the comments. "If they think what I did and said was surprising, oh man they are gonna be in for a real surprise. . ." He thought with an amused tone.
Kurama meanwhile chuckled a little at his container's remark. "Which surprise? Them learning about the Uchiha Heir or that your engaged to both her and Lavender eye?" He sarcastically asked in amusement.
"Either will work. . ." Naruto replied while he shrugged his shoulders, then he sat down on the ground before he narrowed his eyes. "But anyways. . .the storm is coming now. . ." He then declared to his tenant in a serious tone.
"And you better be ready when it does." Kurama replied with an equally serious voice. "Also, you'll be healed soon to watch the rest of the matches, but save your energy." He told the blond before he stopped talking as he decided to rest.
The blond put his hands a little bit behind him to lend his head backwards. "Got it." Naruto muttered as he looked at the ceiling of the room, trying to get a quick rest in.
At the Hokage booth. . .
While the excitement of the spectators continued, the elderly Hokage put his hand on his face while letting out a sigh. "You just had to make a big show after your revel didn't you Naruto-kun?" Hiruzen thought to himself as he could literally feel a mountain of paperwork falling on top of him.
The Kazekage meanwhile looked at his fellow Kage with a hidden intrigued expression. "I must say that aside from the incredible display from the Konoha shinobis, that reveal was quite the surprise." He stated.
Hiruzen in turn groaned in annoyance to that. "No point in hiding it to him now. . ." He thought to himself, before he looked at the fellow Kage with a kind smile. "Yes, all of the secrets that he just shared were meant to be kept a secret until he ether became a chunin or was strong enough to defend himself." He stated with a honest tone.
The fellow Kage simply let out an amused chuckle at that. "Well after this display, I must say he will at the very least fill one of those two criterias wouldn't you say?" He stated more than asked as he eyed the area where the blond was resting with a intrigued eyes. "And I have to say, aside from his interfering, he does show a lot of promise. . ." The Snake Sannin thought with an fascinating tone.
Hiruzen lowered the ends of his hat to cover his narrowed eyes because he didn't like the way the look in the other Kage's eyes. "Yes. . .I would say so. . ." He agreed while expertly hiding any negative emotions in his tone. "You will never lay a finger on Naruto-kun as long as I can help it Orochimaru. . ." He then thought with conviction.
At the spectators area. . .
While the crowd were still excited, the members of the Konoha genins were also in the same state as well.
"Hell yeah! That was one hell of an awesome fight!" Kiba shouted while balled his fist in excitement as Akamaru barked in agreement while wagging his tail on top of his head.
"Yeah it was!" Ino agreed in excitement as she looked at her fellow blond and couldn't help but giggle in amusement. "Hinata-chan and Satsuki-chan are the lucky ones now. . .Naruto's so~ gonna go straight to the top of the hot guy meter now!" She thought as she had now some more gossip.
"Though. . .who would've thought that Naruto-chan was the Fourth Hokage's son!?" Tenten breathed out, but on the inside she was still surprised by the final attack the blond used on her teammate as it was actually manage to broke through the perfect defence of the Hyuga clan.
"I know! That's definitely the biggest shocked of my life!" Kin declared with an honest tone, then she turned around and notice something around her. "Hey did you notice a decrease in people here in the audience?" She asked with curiosity as she wonder why people were running of the stadium. "Seems like they really freaked out over something." She then admitted.
"Beats me," Kiba said as he shrugged his shoulders, not really caring about that and a thought came to his mind. "Maybe it had to do with the whole jinchūriki thing?" he guessed.
"Maybe, that was also a real surprise." Ino got out, then it was then that she remember people around the village telling her not to talk to her fellow blond when she was younger. "I gotta at least apologize. . ." She depressingly thought as she also remembered that like many shinobi parents, hers never really said to stay away from him.
"Yeah it was! I wonder just how strong he really is?" Tenten couldn't help but asked after seeing the earlier display she somehow knew that the blond didn't show his full power.
"I would hate to interrupt, but the next match is going to start." A very familiar voice stated.
This sudden voice caused everyone to nearly jump out of their sits as they turned around to look at the source to find. . .
Within a Konoha prison. . .
"What. . .the hell. . .happened?" Anko breathed out as she grind her teeth at the sight in front of her.
Across the walls, blood was scattered. On the ground, two dead guards with missing body parts laid motionless. Finally, a prison cell was wide open with a scalpel in the lock, meaning that it was used to open it.
"That little. . ." Anko growled out in anger while balling their hands her into fists. "DAMMIT!" She swore as she quickly rushed out of the holding cells area to go and find a trail on the escaped prisoner.
Within another spectator's stands. . .
"Alright Naruto-chan!" Fū cheered silently, happy that her fellow jinchūriki gaining such positive praised as only people like them couldn't truly understand what it means to them.
"YAY KURAMA-NIISAN! See Fū-chan, told ya he would be fine!" Chōmei cheered in his container's head.
Fū couldn't help but chuckled a little at that. "Yeah, guess you were right Chōmei." She agreed with an amused tone.
"Hmm. . ." Chōmei started after a few minutes as the huge beetle had a large mental grin. "Hope your crush wins his match?" He then asked with a very insinuating tone
Fū instantly blushed the moment she heard her Bijū began laughing in her head. "CHŌMEI! WILL YOU KNOCK THAT OUT!" She roared in her mind with an embarrassed tone.
However this only made said Bijū to continue laughing louder because of that.
Within the center of the arena. . .
"Well then, It's time for the next match." Genma thought as he looked at the competitors stands. "Will Hinata Hyuga and Sakura Haruno come down here." He called out.
Within the competitor stands. . .
Hinata took a deep breath before nodding as she started to head down the stairs. "This is it. . ." She thought to herself then as she was about to continue, she was purposely and rudely shoved by her opponent. "Ever heard of manner?" She stated more than asked with a not so subtle annoyance in her voice.
Kurama meanwhile scoffed from inside of his seal. "Not likely. . ." He remarked in annoyance.
For Sakura on the other hand, she simply looked back while giving her opponent a hate filled glare and scowl. "Filth should stay out of the way, because you'll be losing this fight either way though. . .because unlike you I'm a pure human!" She declared as she went down the stair out of her view.
The female Hyuga stood in the same spot as she was nearly shaking from anger for the not so hidden meaning in her opponent's words. However before she do or say anything, she felt an hand her shoulder.
As Hinata turned around, she saw that it was her opponent's sunglasses wearing teammate. "Yes?" She questioned in concern, while she didn't have much about the boy since their sparring match Team Seven had with Team Eight, she was still worried that he would plan something.
Shino was silent for a moment as his bugs buzzed a little, but they remained inside of his body. "Hinata-san, please do not be concern I will merely wish to talk before your match." He stated before he lowered his hands and placed them inside of his coat pockets.
The female Hyuga could see that the boy wasn't lying so she relax a bit as she nodded in confirmation.
Said boy lowered his chin as he took a moment to gathered his thoughts, then once he did he raised his head as looked straight at Hinata in the eyes. "I do not know what is going on with Sakura Haruno. . .but she's changed with negative results. . .and I do not refer in her personality getting worst. . ." He advised with an ominous tone.
To hearing that, Hinata narrowed her eyes as she easily understood what Shino was talking about and nodded in agreement. "I know. . .I'll try to be careful in are match. . ." She responded as she then headed down the stair and arrived at the arena.
"Oi. . .you better watch your back with her Hyuga. . ." Kurama warned with an unusually serious tone.
Hinata's eyes slightly widen when she heard that as she finally entered the arena and started heading towards the center. "Kurama-san, what do you mean by that?" She mentally asked, concern by his tone.
The Bijū then narrowed his eyes to that. "Her inner malice. . .I had sensed something slightly. . .off about the Haruno girl before. . .but now I was able to smell something incredibly foul on her. . ." He declared with the same seriousness as before.
". . ." Hinata was quiet for a moment as she knew that the Bijū wasn't lying or exaggerating in the slightest and nodded in response as she arrived at the center. "Understood, thank you for the advice Kurama-san." She replied with a thankful tone.
The Hyuga girl then looked at the green and pink haired girl, who was still giving a glare and scowl that were full of hatred.
In response to this, Hinata gained a determined filled expression on her face. "However I'm not going to lose to her. . .all of her insults towards those I cared for end here!" She thought as she got into the Hyuga stance.
Sakura continued to glare at her opponent, full of complete hatred for her. "This demon bitch is going down. . .I could give two shits whether the akuma is the Fourth Hokage's son, he still must die!" She thought with much malevolence as she possibly could muster. "The Hyuga first. . .and then the akuma. . .they will both die!" She thought as she got into a stance, one hand in front balled into a fist while the other behind her, ready to pull the tanto she had gotten for being in Root.
Genma took the dango stick out of his teeth as he started twirling it around his fingers a few times. "Alright if both contenders are ready, then let the second match begin!" He announced as he stepped back from the two as the crowd started to cheer.
Back with the female Uchiha. . .
Satsuki had taken a few moments to look at familiar scenery, as she was feeling nostalgic for a moment. The feelings of both happy and sadness swelled inside of her at recalling them, before recalling the moments after she joined Team Seven.
Then after another moment, Satsuki took a deep breath and gained a determined filled expression. "Itachi. . .I'm done with you. . ." She said to herself before and started to leave. "I'm ready to go. . ." She told her sensei.
At hearing this, Kakashi looked up from his Icha Icha, once he saw saw her student near him he nodded to her. "I see. . .So, no changing your mind about this. . ." He responded in a serious manner, however whatever her decision was, he would respect it in the end.
Satsuki nodded with a solemn expression in response as she looked at her hand before balling it into a fist. "Yeah. . ." She simply replied as she looked at all of the scrolls she was carrying, many which had other scrolls, price objects and things that had more of a sentimental value then having a pricey worth. "We better get going. . .I need to put them in a safe place before restocking on supplies for my match. . ." She declared as she put the scrolls away.
"Understood." Kakashi replied with a neutral tone, however on the inside he was still glad that at least part of the memories he shared with his friend would still be preserved by the girl. "Then let's head to the weapons store to get more supplies. . .for what's coming. . ." He then declared with a dead serious tone.
Satsuki in tern nodded as she followed her sensei. "Naru-kun, Nata-chan, I'll be there soon." She thought with a refreshing smile on her face. "So good luck on your matches. . ." She said with a hesitant tone before she shock her head while clenching it into a fist. "No. . .not luck. . .I know you'll both will win!" She mentally declared with confidence as she then raced off to catch up to Kakashi.
Back at the arena. . .
Sakura started to run at the female Hyuga with her tantō drawn and put it into position. "The first strike is key! Have to make it first!" She declared in her mind.
Hinata watched her opponent as she prepared herself for anything. "I don't know what you got planning Haruno, but it can't be good. . ." She thought as she quickly dodged the slash from the tanto, almost grazing her neck and jumped backwards to create some distance.
Sakura meanwhile didn't give chance as she only eyed her opponent with narrowed eyes, whether it was out of anger or caution it wasn't known.
The female Hyuga then narrowed her eyes as she felt something off about her opponent. "I was right. . .something indeed has changed about her. . .but what is it?" Hinata thought in a serious manner.
"Nice dodge," Sakura cockyly remarked in a sarcastic manner as she sheathed her blade. "Let's see you dodge this!" She started to through multiple handsigns ending with a tiger seal. "Fire Style!" She thought as she started to suck in air through her mouth.
"That seal!" Hinata thought as she recognized the seal, she then quickly went through her own handsigns as well. "Glad I watched Haku-sensei practice some techniques!" She thought with gratitude for her sensei's lessons. "Water Style!" She then started in her head.
"FIREBALL!" Sakura breathed as she released a massive ball of flames as it sped toward the female Hyuga with remarkable velocity.
Within the stands. . .
The members of the same class of Team Seven meanwhile gained wide eyes to the sight of this.
"HOLY SHIT! WHEN DID SHE LEARN THAT?!" Kiba exclaimed as Akamaru whimpered in concern for the female Hyuga's safety.
"Beats me!" Ino said as she looked at the person that arrived. "Haku-san, is Hinata gonna be alright?" She asked to the guest that arrived and sat down with them.
As said older boy looked on, all Haku did was smile without any worry, knowing full well what his student was planning to do.
Back in the center of the arena. . .
"SURFING STRIKE!" Hinata declared as she began gathering water from the air itself and sending it underneath her feet as it form a large burst of water that pushed her upwards.
Then when the large fireball was a few feet away, the female Hyuga used one more seal so that she could move both the water and herself forward until the water turn into a large wave, which she use to quickly getting out of the fireball's path by moving to her side as the fireball passed harmlessly.
Annoyed by this, Sakura frown with irritation. "Dammit. . ." She muttered out as she made the same hand seals while she sucked in more air. "Take this!" She mentally declared as started sending out multiple fireballs at her opponent with the intent of burning her alive.
FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH!
As the fireball closed in, Hinata was completely unphased by the multiple fireballs coming at her. Hinata merely made on hand seal and the wave once again began moving forward.
SWOOSH! SPLASH! BLUB! SPLASH!
The audience then witness that young Hyuga actually began surfing and dodging each and every fireball with ease, almost as if she was dancing with the waves.
In another part of the stands. . .
Hiashi was slightly surprised and taken aback by this as he raised an eyebrow. "Interesting, it seems Hinata has become skilled with using water style ninjutsu after her month of training." He thought to himself in a intrigued manner.
After all, for a Hyuga, to use any type of elemental jutsus was unheard of as their clan like many others rely and focus on their specialty such as the Nara using shadows or the Akimichi with their body alteration.
While Hiashi may be very traditional, he wouldn't fault her daughter for doing so, if it mean if she would be stronger in her own way, then he was content.
Hanabi meanwhile looked on with amazement as she saw her sister avoid the fireball with such a spectacular way that no Hyuga had ever done before. "Wow Hinata-oneesama. . .that's so cool!" She thought as she continued to watch with eyes filled with amazement towards her sister.
Back in the arena. . .
Sakura was soon grinding her teeth in anger as she had enough of this annoying display as she sent the fastest fireball she could cast and sent it towards the Hyuga.
FWOOSH!
Hinata meanwhile narrowed her eyes as she knew shouldn't dodge this one. So making one more hand sign, she coated her feet with some of the water. Then when the fireball was about to hit her. .
SPLOSH!
The female Hyuga was soon blasted upwards by a splurt of water, this was enough to jumped over the fireball as it crashed into the wave, extinguishing it upon contact. Then once she landed on the ground she looked forward.
"My turn." Hinata declared as she moved towards her opponent, swaying back and forth as she got closer as if she was skating. "Take this!" She then declared as she cartwheeled forward to delivered a powerful axe kick.
The other girl in response narrowed her eyes to the oncoming attack. "Like I'll let you!" Sakura retorted as she quickly blocked the kick with her arm.
BAM!
Sakura then as quickly slid back a bit after taking the hit before wincing in pain.
Hinata was startled by the fact that the other girl had the strength to blocked the full force of her kick, but her eyes then widen when she saw her opponent using her free hand to grab her tantō. "I need to-!" She thought to herself as she tried to jumped back only to be stop in mid step.
The green and pink haired girl used the same hand she used to block the kick to hold her at bay. "I gotcha!" Sakura declared with an almost vile glee as she readied to weapon.
"!?" Hinata could do nothing as she saw her opponent twirling her blade.
SLICE! SHING! CLANG
"What!?" Sakura shouted as her blade actually bounce off the Hyuga's leg like it would happen when you hit something solid.
"Now!" Hinata thought to herself as she didn't waste even a moment.
The female Hyuga used Sakura's own strength to pulled herself upwards as then used her other leg to kick her opponent's face. The action caused her let go of the Hyuga's leg and sent flying backwards.
Hinata then used the water coating her feet to gain some distance from her opponent. "Too close for comfort. . ." She muttered to herself in a relieved tone as she looked at her legs.
The Hyuga couldn't believe that her forgetting to take off her fifty pound training weights would be the reason for the tantō bounce off.
". . .You've had training weights on all this time?" Kurama questioned with with a raised eyebrow. ". . .and you of all people forgot to take them off?" He then added.
"It would be to embarrassing to admit that. . ." Hinata thought with an embarrassed tone while not showing any hints of what she was feeling.
". . ." Kurama first said nothing as he listened to this reveal until he started bawling loudly. "BWAHAHAHAHAHA!" He bellowed out with only made the girl to groan in annoyance and embarrassment.
Sakura meanwhile recovered from the hit as a small trickle of blood fell from her lip. "Why the hell are your legs so heavy!?" She demanded her question in anger as she could still feel her hand tremblings from the hit.
Hinata in turn gave off a satisfied yet subtle grin. "Wouldn't you like to know?" She remarked with a calm yet taunting tone.
Sakura in response to this became livid at hearing the subtle taunting as she now really wanted to kill her opponent more than she ever had before.
The Hyuga then narrowed her eyes when her Byakugan had a better view of her opponent and saw the color she was emanating. "She is nearly completely red with dark red as well. . .she really is out to kill me. . ." She thought with looked at her opponent, who was continuing to glare.
The Bijū also narrowed his eyes as he could easily tell the same. "I believe you are right about her." Kurama mentally told the Hyuga. "I sense a powerful hatred in her along with some malevolence as well." He added, even if he couldn't physically feel the murderous intent the opponent was emanating.
The female Hyuga was momentarily confused for a moment, wondering how the Bijū could sense something like malevolence, however that quickly stopped as the green and pink haired girl tried to attack her again with her tanto.
"Whoa!" Hinata exclaimed as she backflipped away from her opponent as she saw her grinding her teeth in annoyance.
However Sakura didn't stopped as she continued to attack with multiple slashes that although looked a bit sloppy, they were all aimed perfectly at each vital points in the Hyuga's body. If so much as one of the slashes manage to land a solid hit, it could be potentially fatal for her.
As Hinata leaned backwards to narrowly dodge a slash that was aimed for her neck, she could have sworn that she had heard her own heartbeat. She raised her leg to try and kick her opponent's chin.
This sudden attack momentary got Sakura to regain her senses as she jumped backwards to dodge the kick, then when she landed on the ground at a safe distance away, she narrowed her eyes while her hatred took hold once more.
Finally gaining some room to breath, Hinata stopped backpedaling as she got back into the Hyuga stance and focus her eyes at her opponent . "I gotta stop her. . .she's completely out of control. . ." She muttered as she activated her Byakugan, gasping at what she saw. "What. . .is this?" She got out with a confused yet surprised tone.
The Bijū meanwhile raised an eyebrow to this. "Hmm. . .this is an interesting development. . ." Kurama muttered, intrigued at what he was seeing through his pseudo-jinchūriki's eyes.
Within a recovery room. . .
The blond combatant was at the moment laying in a bed in the room as he decided to waited here before his next match and with the exception of a few bandages around his body he looked more or less alright, but. . .
"Uggggh. . ." Naruto groaned as he struggled his eyes open. "Yup. . .pain still hurts. . .even with an incredible recovering factor that doesn't mean the pain will simply goes right away." He thought with annoyance.
The boy's rantings were meet with silences as he didn't hear a response from the Bijū in his head, which caused him to let out sigh. Then the blond began hearing loud cheerings as well as the names of Hinata Hyuga and Sakura Haruno.
"Guess he's helping Hinata-chan." Naruto soon thought as he turned his head and saw his previous opponent laying on a bed.
The male Hyuga looked much worse for ware then the blond, he was almost had all of his body bandages with some cotton to stop the bleeding from the bigger injuries he had received.
Sitting upright while making sure not to unwrap the bandages, the blond turn his body to looked at his former opponent. "Yo." Naruto simply greeted while raising a hand.
"Hmm?" Neji hummed out as he weakly turned to see that the blond had awoken. "Ah, Namikaze-san." He replied as his voice didn't even have the smallest amount anger or resentment.
Naruto slightly raised an eyebrow at the way Neji had greeted, but didn't wanted to press. "Hey, I must have fallen asleep after finishing our match didn't I?" Naruto guessed, not being able to recall what happened after their fight.
Neji closed his eyes and nodded once. "Yes, apparently the medics said you suffered a slight case of chakra exhaustion and you passed out after you taken from the stadium." He responded as he reopen his eyes. "Though I'm surprised you've woken up so quickly. The medics said you should've been out for much longer." He added.
Though the older boy didn't mention the fact that the medics thought that the blond wouldn't had been able to fight his next fight by the time they thought he would had woken up.
Naruto started chuckle as he got himself up. "Yeah I've been known not to stay down for long even after something like this. The old man said it's probably cause of my mom being an Uzumaki." He then revealed though he didn't mention Kurama's chakra help as well.
"I see. . ." Neji responded as he then heard cheering from the stadium. "It seems Hinata-sama's match is exciting the crowd." He then stated.
As to prove the boy right, the blond once again heard the loud cheering, more so for the female Hyuga. "I can tell, sound like it's getting hectic out there." Naruto said with an amused tone as he got up from the bed. "Think I'm gotta see hows the fight going." He started to head out the door of the infirmary but stopped when he opened the door. "Oh and Neji?" He then got out.
"Yes Namikaze-san?" Neji replied in confusion to what the blond wanted.
Naruto chuckled as he continue to leave. "Just call me Naruto. I'm not one for formalities." He then requested as he then walked out the door to get back to the arena.
Had the blond have been facing Neji, he would had notice the dumbfounded expression Hyuga had at him saying that. The older boy then let out an amused chuckled as he once again was shown that the blond was more then he seen.
Back in the arena. . .
They female Hyuga was still looking at her opponents chakra pathlines and points with her activated Byakugan, however. . .
"Kurama-san. . .what. . .is this?" Hinata asked the tailed beast as she indeed felt something off about it.
Normally her Byakugan wasn't active, she saw everything normally, but seeing with the Byakugan on, she usually saw everything in white and black and normally only seeing a light blue flare indicating chakra. However now was very different.
Although she could still see everything that composed of the chakra networks a shinobi should have, Hinata could somehow now see different colors in people as it coated their bodies by this strange phenomenon.
"Hmm. . .it seem the Byakugan has gained something for the long exposure to my chakra, but I can't figure out what this is exactly. . ." Kurama admitted in the girl's head. "One thing I can figure is, that these colors are not heat signatures. . ." He soon revealed.
"Then what can they be?" Hinata asked as she looked at most of the audience.
The Hyuga then notice that the audience members, not just the shinobis, were coated in a particular color. Some people had normal and dark orange, normal and vomit yellow, green, light, normal and cobalt blue, normal and dark purple, pink, white and even black.
Once she finished scanning, the bluenette gaing a confused expression. "What could this mean?" Hinata thought with a very confused tone.
"HEY BITCH COME ON!" Sakura screamed out with a rage filled expression
Hinata however saw her opponent completely coated in red, dark orange, purple, dark purple and black.
"I DON'T HAVE ALL DAY!" Sakura then added as she had enough waiting and rushed at the female Hyuga, tantō in hand again.
This instantly snapped the Hyuga back to the situation at hand. "I'll have to worry about it later! Here she comes!" Hinata muttered under her breath as she got into the Hyuga stance, while quickly yet elegantly dodge each of her opponent's slash before she cartwheeled a distance away as she saw the red coating become more vibrant. "Wait. . .could red mean. . .anger?" She then muttered.
"DIE DIE DIE DIE DIIIIIIIIIIIE!" Sakura madly yelled as she wildly slashed at the other girl with her tantō, no caring if she hit or missed.
The Bijū meanwhile narrowed his eyes to this. "Yup. . .definitely not right in the head." Kurama commented in a serious and annoyed tone. "Interesting though, it somehow seems the colors possibly represent specific emotions. Red is obviously anger, rage and hatred. . .purple and black, I'm not so sure. . ." He then stated.
"Figured red out easily!" Hinata muttered her answer before gaining more distance as she went through the hand signs. "Water Style: Liquid Bullet!" She thought as she then sucked in and similar to her fiancé using Air Bullet, she fired high velocity shots of water at Sakura.
With no time to dodge, Sakura used her arms covered her face and upper body as the bullets of water hit her with enough force to skidding her backwards while bruises were now on her arms. "DAMMIT! YOU FUCKIN' WHORE!" She insulted with fury.
Unknown to her, she had just pissed off many people, both at arena and in the village with that comment.
Within the stands. . .
"Father, what's a whore?" Hanabi asked as she saw her father and most of the Hyuga clan, more so from the females, had their Byakugan activated in anger. "F-Father?" She then got out in a meek tone.
"It's. . .nothing Hanabi, just never call anyone that. . .mainly girls." Hiashi explained as he used his Byakugan to look at the parents of his daughter's opponent, both of them having dazed but proud looks on their faces. This caused Hiashi to scowl. "Do those two actually approve of their daughter's actions?" He thought.
In the village's local weapons shop. . .
Satsuki was resupplying herself as she felt a sudden rise in anger. "Why do I feel like hurting someone very painfully and intensely?" She thought as she got some more paper bombs.
"Satsuki, you almost done?" Kakashi asked, leaning against a nearby wall while reading his Icha Icha.
"Almost, just got to get a few more things." Satsuki responded as she got some fuma shurikens. "Good, that should do it." She then decided as she went to the counter of the store as she placed a decent amount of money on it. "Keep the change!" She thanked before sealing everything into a scroll.
The roughly looking man at the counter, simply chuckled as he looked at the young girl. "Alright then little missy, good luck at the finals!" He encouraged while waving at the girl.
Satsuki giggled a little at the kind man. "Can do, later!" She then left with the jonin,
Finally done with everything that was need to be done, the ravennette was now heading straight for the arena.
Within the competitor's box. . .
The blond jinchūriki had just gotten back to the competitors box right when he heard the insult. "Why that little-! How dare she call my girlfriend that!?" Naruto asked in an enraged tone.
His former schoolmate then placed a hand on the blonds shoulder to calmed him. "Easy Naruto, it's just an insult. . ." Shikamaru remarked trying to calmed him. "Through a very demanding one that would piss of any girl being called that. . ." He mentally added.
His other schoolmate then walked next to him. "Indeed," Shino added while nodding once. "I told Hinata to be wary around her and I was right about it." He then revealed.
This finally calmed Naruto down, he turned to watched as one of his fianceés launched more Liquid Bullets at her opponent as she countered with fire balls but was easily dodge by her almost graceful dodging.
"Guessing she learned water style from Haku and she always was graceful so her dodging fits her style." Naruto then admitted while he watched as the female Hyuga skated around the battlefield thanks to the water coating her feet. "In more ways than one." He added with an amused tone.
At the battlefield. . .
Hinata narrowed her eyes at the insult as she found it very demeaning for a fellow Konoha shinobi should say it to another. "Alright Sakura. . ." She muttered as she looked at her opponent. "I had. . ." She started to skate over towards her, a determined look on her face. "Enough of your insults!" She declared while she spun as she spin kicked Sakura at the left side of her exposed waist.
Sakura held her sore waist while glaring at her opponent. "Gah! Fuckin' bitch!" She muttered while she prepared another slash with her tantō again.
"Too slow!" Hinata declared as she swerved out of the way while she kicked her again on her right side. "And this is with with my leg weights still on." She thought as she noticed the red coating Sakura changed to a darker red as she got some kunais out and threw them.
Once she took a safe distance away from her opponent she easily dodged the kunais. "I guess what color represents certain emotions, changing slightly or greatly depending on the person." She muttered muttered to herself. "Kurama-san?" She mentally called out.
"Yeah?" The Bijū replied in a curious manner.
The brunette quickly began dodging her opponents attacks. "Can you tell Naruto-kun about this new kind of vision I have? I'm sort of busy at the moment." Hinata requested as she avoided another tantō slash. "I want to be able to learn more about this after the finals and invasion." She soon added.
Kurama in response to the request nodded since it was a simple one. "Got it. Just kick her ass and humiliate her in front of this entire crowd." The Bijū replied while encouraging the girl with with witty smirk.
Hinata smiled as she backflipped away from Sakura again. "You can count on it." She then noticed all the water that had accumulated around the battlefield. "I think I can work with this." She thought as she started to go through the hand signs again. "Water Style!" She thought to herself.
Seeing the signs, Sakura charged at her. "NO YOU DON'T!" She wailed as she got in closed and manage to kicked the Hyuga in the gut, stopping her from completely her jutsu.
"URK!" Hinata got out as she held her stomach. "That. . .hurt a little. . ." She muttered in slight pain, but then she was forced to block the next incoming kicks, she managed to block some, but some kicks still struck her sides. "That too. . ." She then added.
Then with one more kick, the Hyuga was skidding backwards until she was at the edge of the large puddle of water. "Ha! How do like that bitch!? How's it feel getting hurt!? Gonna cry!?" Sakura cockly taunted as she felt great joy in causing and seeing the Hyuga in pain.
"No. . ." Hinata got out as she held her sides. "I'm not giving up that easily. . .Haruno. . ." She started while breathing heavily. "But. . .I do got just one thing to say. . ." She soon began.
Feeling that she had already won, Sakura simply stood there with an arrogant smile on her face. "And what's that bitch? Your surrendering?" She mocked with a degrading tone.
"Three word. . ." Hinata started as she then gave off a gentle but somewhat cocky but proud smile of her own. "Explosive Water Spike!" She declared while slamming her hand to the ground.
Suddenly all of the water that cover most of the field of battle rose up, sharpening themselves into spikes.
"Shit!" Sakura got out as her eyes widen in shocked. She tried to avoid the spikes but a few of them pierced her arm. "GAAAH! YOU LITTLE BITCH!" She winced at the pain as she tried to get to the female Hyuga, while making sure to avoiding the rest of the spikes.
It used a decent amount of chakra to keep the water spikes stay upward, so Hinata was in a need to catch her breath. But even so she still was able to dashed backwards to make some space between her and Sakura.
Then the bluenette's vision showing her opponent's had gain a darker red instead of a normal red, she had already figured that the red meaning anger. "But dark red. . .what could it mean?" She concentrated as she discreetly allowed some of Kurama's chakra to heal her injuries.
Annoyed that the Hyuga was yet again out of reach and with even more water spikes blocking her path, Sakura grinded her teeth. "GET OUT HERE AND FIGHT YOU FUCKIN' SLUT!" Sakura screamed as she slashed through the water spikes in a blind fury.
It was at that moment that Kurama had returned to the female Hyuga's seal just in time to hear what were the girl's thoughts of the color, but then sweatdropped at the enraged girl's state of mind. "Violence. . .meaning her desire of destroying everything that's in her path, which means you. . ." He simply answered.
"Guess so." Hinata responded with a sweat-drop before she letting out a sigh of relief as she noticed her wounds had almost healed completely, causing her to smile. "Alright, time to counterattack!" She declared while released the water spikes as they went back to being water on the ground and got into her Hyuga stance.
The moment the spikes had stopped she instantly saw her opponent. "AH HA! FOUND YOU BITCH!" Sakura screamed as she rushed at her opponent with reckless abandonment, all for the sake of hurting her as painfully as possible.
"Here I come!" Hinata said as she then spread out her arms, the palms of her hands coated in light blue chakra and the Eight Trigrams symbol appearing under her feet. "I figured out what you meant Haku-sensei. . .I am not like other Hyuga. . . not because of my kind nature. . . or the role I have as a pseudo-jinchūriki. . ." She mentally declared with a calm conviction.
With tanto drawn, Sakura jumped at Hinata, aiming for her neck. "YOUR MIIIIIIIIINE!" She screamed with complete insanity as she was about to slash.
The female Hyuga however gracefully dodged the slash at the last second, then as smoothly as water, she struck her opponent with an upward palm strike right to her opponent's chin, sending her into the air.
"It's because. . .of my style. . .flexible and graceful. . .and that's how I'll be." Hinata thought in a calm manner while making a semi ice-skating pose.
Within the Hyuga section of the stands. . .
"Hmm?" Hiashi got out as he used his Byakugan to get a better look, he saw with curiosity at the movements his daughter was making. "What is this? This isn't one of the house's techniques. . .no it has traces of it, yet completely different at the same time." He then thought.
The youngest daughter of the Hyuga Clan head meanwhile looked on as the fight kept going, her bloodline also active, but unlike her father, it wasn't for analing as the young girl's eyes was filled with marble and amazement.
Then Hanabi saw a small silhouette of a younger version of her older sister dazzling fighting alongside the older one. "Hinata-nee-sama. . ." She got out in with an awestruck tone.
Within another section of the stands. . .
Haku couldn't help but smiled proudly as he saw his students advancement of her own fighting style he helped create. "I see. . ." He got out in a intrigued yet proud manner.
Hearing that, the platinum blonde haired girl tuned to look at the older boy. "What is it Haku-san?" Ino asked with curiosity.
"This is," Haku started as he felt great pride of what he knew what would happen next. "Hinata's real power. . ." He vaguely revealed.
"Eh? What do you mean?" Kiba asked while the Akimichi heir munched on his chips.
Haku didn't answer anymore as he only smiled and continued watching the match.
Ino meanwhile did the same as a large smile appeared on her face. "Does it matter?! Go get her Hinata! Beat her ass!" She cheered loudly as she decided to hold the questions for later while the others did the same and started cheering as well.
In the combatant's box. . .
The Nara raised an eyebrow as he never had seen this type of fighting style before. "What's she doing?" Shikamaru questioned as his brilliant mind was working on possible solutions, but coming up with nothing.
Lee also looked on as he too didn't recognize the taijutsu the female Hyuga was using. "Whoa. . ." He said in awestruck.
Shino meanwhile didn't respond at all, as he simply decided to observe the match.
Then they all looked toward Naruto, who had a shocked look on his face. "Hinata-chan. . .not only water style. . .but a new technique as well!? Awesome!" Naruto said as he started to cheer for her. "Take her down!" He then loudly cheered.
On the battlefield. . .
To hearing that, Hinata felt such joy and blissful happiness from the support her boyfriend and the people who loves her. As the people continue to cheers her on she was beginning to feeling more strength and confidence than she ever felt before in her life.
However this strength didn't just came from Hinata herself, but from being recognized by all of those that she value precious. It was thanks to this strength from her inner circle, was all she needs to put an end to pointless fight as a swirl bright blue chakra came out from her body and surrounding her entire body as the aura slightly looked like a fox.
"Thank you Naruto-kun. . .everyone. . .I will finished this!" Hinata thought with resolution.
As her new found power continue to grow it quickly turn into her tails, they spread wide and slammed onto the ground. This made her took off after her opponent who was still flying upwards.
Sakura however was still in a state of shock and just couldn't believe that the Hyuga had sent her flying like that. Her eyes widen when she saw her opponent made a massive leap into the air. But what really shocked her was seeing swirls of chakra being created around her opponent as it formed into a nine chakra-like tails.
Hinata then spread her arms as wide as possible and started moving her arms at an seemly impossible pace that the normal humans could not hope to follow, unless that he or she has the Sharingan. This created a massive sphere like dome of thin chakra threats, and thanks to the fox of chakra, this threats weren't just sharp and hard, they have a burning effect as well.
As Hinata had reached her opponent, the threats began to rapidly cuts, burns, and pierce her opponent body at the same time. "I'm sorry for the intense pain Haruno-san but. . ." She apologized as she then gave off a determined look. "EIGHT TRIGRAMS SIXTY FOUR PALMS GUARD!" She declared in a serious tone.
Sakura screamed in agony as she got each blow to her body. "FUCK! SHIT! BITCH! DAMMIT TO HELL! YOU FUCKIN' WHOOOOOOOOORE!" She wailed out as she was helpless to stop the attack and continued swear. "I WILL KILL YOU BIIIIIIITCH!" She loudly swore in agony.
Hinata continued spinning the threats as fast as she possibly could, this cause the chakra threats to slashing deeper into Sakura's skin. "Can't stop. . .have to. . . keep. . .going!" She thought as she struggled to keep her technique going, the weights on her legs making her want to go back on the ground because of gravity. She then heard some chuckling in her head. "Kurama-san?" She asked with confusion.
Kurama continued chuckling before snapping his claw. "Take her down a couple of pegs with the final strike." He simply remarked in amusement.
Hinata giggled as she felt another dose of Kurama's chakra flow through her, making her feel light as a feather. Her arms went even faster before she brought them close to her. "Understood!" She replied and then pushed her arms forward while thrusting her hands into her opponent's chest.
This final action caused both kunoichi's to go downwards into the ground. "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Sakura screamed as she felt the pain coursing through her body the moment her back hit the ground first, making a large imprint of her. "Damn. . .you. . .whore. . ." She struggled out before falling into unconsciousness.
As Hinata's feet touched the ground, she couldn't resist falling onto one of her knees from the exhaustion while looking at her unconscious opponent and felt satisfied that her jutsu had worked. "I. . .I did it. . ." She breathed out while deactivating her new vision, this caused her sight to return to normal.
Genma, meanwhile, slowly went over to the unconscious girl and saw that she wasn't gonna be up for a while. "Damn, another one out for the count." He muttered as he turned towards the female Hyuga.
Said girl was still kneeling down as she was breathing a bit heavily, but unlike her opponent, she was in much better shape as she didn't suffered a lot, if at all, injuries and was, more or less, good for her next fight.
"She planned her tactics well, it was a little touch and go for her, but she adapted well to the situation at hand and was able to defeat her opponent with excellent judgment. A perfect candidate for a chunin in my opinion." Genma thought to himself with a smirk. "Since Sakura Haruno has been knocked out, the winner for this match is Hinata Hyuga!" He declared.
With the declaration, roars of cheers and claps was soon heard throughout the stadium.

F2P (fight2protect)'s A/N: Man! It's been a while, huh!? Can't even remember when was the last time we did one! :)
JG: Yeah, we pretty much got ourselves distracted with other things that we've been getting done. ^^"
F2P: But it feels good doing them, it's like a breath of both fresh and nostalgic air. :D
JG: Hell yeah to that! So to start with, let's start with the changes that were made throughout the chapter itself! :D
F2P: Well, content wise, it was more or less the same, we just made it have a better structure, well better than before that is. XD
JG: That's pretty much it, as well as adding more details. You know, the little things. ^^"
F2P: It's all about those little details that made it better. :D
JG: Exactly. A few changes here and there can go a long way when it comes to writing. :)
F2P: But what we really focused on rewriting was Hinata's new Byakugan, we tried to make it easier to understand.
JG: Basically, Hinata's new Byakugan vision now has two modes, the first being the usual chakra network vision, while this new one focuses on seeing the actual emotions of people, each emotion being represented by different colors.
F2P: Since she just unlocked it, she activated both modes, but once she has a better control, she will able to control the modes. But to make it easier for you to understand, here are the colors and what they mean:
Dark Red= Violence
Red= Anger, Rage and Hatred
Pink= Love
Dark Orange= Greed
Orange= Determination
Yellow= Happiness & Joy
Vomit Yellow= Fear
Green= Willpower
Light Blue= Understanding
Cobalt Blue= Sadness, Despair, and Loneliness
Normal Blue= Loyalty & Trust
Purple= Ambition
Dark Purple= Envy
White= Purity
Black= Death
JG: I gotta say, coming up with all of this was tough. . .a decent amount of them being original while some are based off of existing color spectrum representing emotions. ^^"
F2P: Those that are Green Lantern fans would understand what this means. :D
JG: Think of it being Hinata's own version of Naruto's negative sensing powers, but a wider scale.
F2P: But remember, Naruto's is way more powerful because he will sense them even if they try to hide them. While Hinata's can only see them if their emotions are overflowing.
JG: Especially since for Hinata's vision, the colors are frequently changing to representing how people's emotions change in a instant.
F2P: So basically this new ability can be both useful or useless depending on the situation.
JG: Besides Hinata's vision, there really isn't much else to say about what happened in this chapter. Hinata beat the living hell out of Sakura in a satisfying manner. Thank you Ultimate Ninja Storm series for coming up with that Ultimate Attack for young Hinata! :D
