Chapter 29: Finales on All Ends
"What was that phrase you said to me Orochimaru? I believe it was something like. . . 'Let's fight, with our lives on the line.' I'm about to make that phrase come true!" With that said. Hiruzen took his Bo staff and entered the monkey stance, ready to face off against his student.
Sarutobi rushed towards his student, slamming into him with incredible speed, then extending the staff to throw him near the barrier. Without looking, he used his tail to grab the First Hokage's neck and fling him into the air. He then jumped straight up, and landed on top of the Second's shoulders, and extended the staff to slam Tobirama head into the ground, pulverizing it. Grabbing the blue armor, he tossed it towards Hashirama, and swung the Adamantine Nyoi, ripping Hashirama's head off, and sending it to be incinerated by the barrier, while at the same time causing further damage to Tobirama's body.
Orochimaru suddenly appeared behind Hiruzen, and swung with Kusanagi. Using his heightened reflexes and speed, Sarutobi ducked under the blade, and used his tail to grab Orochimaru's hand, and toss his student over him and into the ground head-first. Feeling a faint pulse of chakra, Hiruzen jumped up to avoid a multitude of large white pythons erupting out of the ground. Out of the largest of these emerged Orochimaru, who leaped out of the snake's mouth and tossed Kusanagi, which Hiruzen dodged, and grabbed the handle of it. The blue symbol on the blade turned a dark red color, and the handle began to smoke. Bewildered, Hiruzen was forced to drop the weapon as it singed his hands. The blade itself then glowed a bright blue, and zoomed towards Orochimaru, who had his arm extended. "Kukuku. . . Sarutobi-sensei, did you really think that I would let my greatest weapon be so vulnerable? I knew about the famed swords of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, and I decided to give my sword a similar self-defense method." The sword, still pointed at the Third Hokage, suddenly began to extend and retract it's blade rapidly, forcing Hiruzen to keep dodging. Then, without warning, the second Hokage came behind him. Well, more like flew towards him. Feet-first.
Sarutobi was sent flying towards Orochimaru, who simply launched a powerful uppercut, and kicking the Hokage behind him. The onslaught was then taken up by Hashirama, whose face was still only half-formed. Despite being pummeled by the extreme physical power of the First, the Third was able to substitute himself with a tile that had a multitude of smoke tags on it. Using this as cover, the Professor gathered his thoughts. "Hashirama's face wasn't fully formed. . . does the barrier slow down regeneration?" Suddenly, he got an idea. "Maybe I can use that to my advantage, and seal them!" His thoughts were stopped by a surge of chakra, brought on by Hashirama performing a set of handsigns. Just as Hiruzen thought he recognized the seals, a shout of "Wood Style Hidden Technique: Deep Forest Emergence!"
The name of the infamous jutsu that created the Land of Fire's incredible forests brought an intense fear within Hiruzen. "My Kami. . ." He whispered, as the roof began to crack, and giant roots emerged, transforming into towering trees within a matter of minutes. "Enma!" He yelled, "Adamantine Prison Wall!"
"Got it, Sarutobi!" Enma replied. With a puff of smoke, a cage made of copies of the adamantine staff surrounded the Third. And not a moment too soon, as an especially large tree root slammed into the cage, but it stood strong. When the technique ended, the cage returned to it's staff form, and the God of Shinobi began to slowly grin. "This terrain is perfect for me!" he thought, his grin widening to unusual proportions - a sign of his new-found ape characteristics. He leaped forwards, and used his hands - and tail - to find his ex-student. . . and his ex-senseis.
Gaara lifted up his sand covered arm. "SAND SHURIKEN!" He cried out and threw his arm with blobs of sand turning into shuriken mid air flying towards the three teens. They each jumped onto a high branch in time and dodged the impending attack.
"Alright Satsuki-chan, we need a high class fire jutsu, strong enough to turn at least one part of his body glass long enough for Hinata-chan and I to break it into pieces and slow him down." Naruto said as he took out some paper bombs and wrapped them around some of his kunai.
"While you get your jutsu ready, Naruto-kun and I will distract him" Hinata said, already taking out some kunai and shuriken.
"Got it Naru-kun, Nata-chan." Satsuki said as she began to gather some chakra around herself.
"Ready Naruto-kun?" Hinata asked as she looked over to her blonde teammate.
"Yeah, just be careful alright Hinata-chan? I don't want anything to happen to you or Satsuki-chan." Naruto said in a worried tone.
"We'll be fine, come on let's go." Both Hinata and Naruto dashed off on opposite in the hopes of not only confusing Gaara, but keeping his focus on them to buy Satsuki some time.
"Take this! Hyaa!" Hinata yelled in determination as she threw her shuriken at Gaara.
"YOU THINK THAT WILL STOP ME?!" Gaara screamed in a deranged fit of agitation as he used his sand covered arm to block the attack.
"Oh yeah, eat this!" Naruto cried out as he threw two kunai with paper bombs at Gaara only to see that he blocked that attack as well with one of his sand arms.
"PATHETIC!" Gaara growled loudly. "WHERE IS THE POWER YOU HAVE SHOWN BE-" He was soon cut off by the sound of something sizzling. "What the!"
"Boom." Naruto said as he grinned and witnessed Gaara's form being encased in a cloud of smoke.
"Alright! We got him!" Hinata cried out in excitement only for her to get slammed into a tree trunk and pinned by a disfigured arm of sand.
"HINATA-CHAN!" Naruto screamed in a panicked voice.
"DON'T TOUCH HER!" Satsuki screamed as sent an over powered fire jutsu. "Fire Style: FIREBALL JUTSU!" Miraculously, the jutsu hit it's target and covered the disfigured sand arm with flames, slowing changing the sand into glass.
Without thinking too much Hinata wiggled around enough to slip down and encase her feet with her chakra then sent a powerful kick shattering the glass arm.
"Nata-chan!" Satsuki cried out in relief as she jumped to where Hinata was and asked in a slightly panicked tone of voice. "Are you okay Nata-chan? Did he break anything?"
"No, I'm-" Hinata started.
"LOOK OUT YOU TWO!" Naruto cried out in warning only for it to be too late.
"Wha-?!" They each cried out before they were both pinned once more against a tree by a sand arm.
"S-Satsuki-chan. . . . . . .Hinata-chan. . ." Naruto whispered in fear for their lives.
"Is this really. . . . .all that you have to offer. . . .Satsuki Uchiha, Hinata Hyuga, and Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze!?" Said a garbled voice amidst in the smoke.
Naruto looked towards the smoke and saw it finally clearing, showing Gaara still standing, but with more sand covering his upper body and reforming the arm he previously lost.
"It. . . it can't be. . . ." Hinata stated in shock before she and Satsuki screamed as the sand around their bodies squeezed them.
"You three are nothing but weak, pathetic ants!" Gaara yelled out maniacally. "Where was the power you demonstrated against your opponent Namikaze?! If you don't fight me at your full strength I will gladly kill these two females to prove my existence!"
Naruto, who saw and heard the girls scream lowered his head, red chakra soon enveloped his body making it pulsate. "You want me to fight at my full strength huh?" Naruto asked as he soon developed chakra shaped fox ears and a tail. "Well pal. . . . .YOU GOT IT! NOBODY THREATENS THOSE I CARE ABOUT AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!" Naruto screamed out as he showed off his elongated canine, jagged cheek marks, and red fox like eyes with a slit down the middle.
"N-Naruto-kun/N-Naru-kun. . ." Each girl thought as they stared at their blond teammate, lover and future fiancé as they feeling the pain of being squeezed by Gaara's sand.
"Bring on the hell kit!" Kurama roared
"Got it!" Naruto said as he jump dashed towards Gaara, Executioner's Blade out to strike at his opponent.
No sooner had Sarutobi started off than an incredibly painful pang shocked his system. He began to feel unbelievably drained, and easily recognized the symptoms. "C-chakra exhaustion? I must be out of time. . ." Just then, he was forced to dodge a small wave of water, followed by branches that sought to strangle him. "Dammit. . ." he cursed, "Enma! Revert! Fight them off while I gather more chakra!"
"Got it, Sarutobi! Be careful!"
"I see. . ." Danzō remarked after hearing Sakura explain what had happened at the exams. "So the last Uchiha. . ."
"Yes sir." Sakura said "The last Uchiha was a female this entire time, deluding all of Konoha for her own selfish reasons. . .and is also a whore for the demon, Naruto Uzumaki."
"Not only that, but the boy himself is the son of the Fourth Hokage." Said a nameless Root member that watched the fights, disguised as a civilian.
"So what? Despite the fact that the akuma is the Fourth's son, he needs to die!" Sakura shouted in anger before she was slapped.
"Enough! Sakura, you showed too much emotions there. . .and you know one of the major rules here of Root." Danzō stated.
Sakura rubbed her cheek, feeling somewhat humiliated. "Yes Danzō-sama, I must continue training here to rid myself of pointless emotions to become the ultimate shinobi. . ."
Danzō smirked at the sight of his new loyal subordinate. "And you will be, my dear, and don't you worry, Uzumaki will die before all of this is over. . .all we need is for me to become the next Hokage. . ."
"After that foolish Third Hokage dies right?" Sakura remarked, not caring anymore for anyone that even cared for Naruto Uzumaki.
"Of course, without him as Hokage, I will be able to gain that level without anyone to stop me." Danzō said. "The elders are already on my side as it is, so it make things even easier."
"What of the demonic Uchiha whore and the akuma Hyuga slut Danzō-sama?" Sakura asked.
"We find out some way to break the two. . .then dispose of the Hyuga after taking her eyes while we force the Uchiha into a breeding program to create soldiers for my organization. We could possibly mix the Uchiha and Hyuga genetics to create super soldier like shinobi. Then give the Hyuga's eyes to you Sakura to use since she is part of the main house of that wretched clan."
"It would be my honor, Danzō-sama." Sakura responded instantly.
". . .and what if our plans fail Danzō-sama?" Asked the nameless Root member. As soon as the agent asked his question, he was quickly decapitated by Sakura.
"Anyone else wish to imply that my plans will fail?" Danzō said as he stared at his members critically.
"No Danzō-sama." The other agent said, emotionless at the sight of a fellow member being decapitated right in front of them.
"Excellent." Danzō responded as he looked at the other agents. "Find and kill both Uzumaki and Hyuga, taking her eyes while then capturing the Uchiha. We need her in working condition."
"Yes Danzō-sama." The Root members said as they headed out to fulfill their orders like obedient dogs.
After they left, Danzō started to leave down a corridor. "Come Sakura, you have training to do. . .and a meeting with someone you know. . ."
"May I ask who Danzō-sama?" Sakura asked as she followed her master.
Danzō was silent for a moment as he walked, smirking to himself as he turned and eyed the back of Sakura's palm. "The one who gave you that mark. . ."
Sakura, hearing this statement widened her eyes slightly before nodding. "Of course, I must thank him for giving me this power boost in the first place."
Danzō chuckled to himself, a rare sight for anyone. "Yes, without his power, you wouldn't be where you are now."
Haku grunted as he wiped the blood off his face and frowned, still feeling a bit uneasy about killing, but knowing that it comes with being a ninja and saving innocents. "Damn, there's no sign of them letting up." After finding another group of civilians, he found Neji, who was taking out some Suna shinobi. "Ah, Neji-san! I see you are alright!"
Said Hyuga nodded as he knocked out another enemy shinobi. "Haku-san, do you know where Hinata-sama is at? I can't seem to locate her anywhere in the village." Neji asked calmly, but if you could see, his eyes held a worried look for his cousin.
"I believe I heard some of the Jonin saying that she, along with Naruto-san and Satsuki-san went after the three Sand Genin." Haku answered after finding some civilians being held hostage by the Oto Ninja that he recently killed.
"What?! You mean she went after that deranged Suna kid? What if she gets hurt?!" Neji exclaimed, ready to rush off and find her.
"Hold on a minute Neji-san, Hinata-san will be fine, she's trained long and hard this past month by me personally. Not only that, but she is accompanied by both Satsuki-san and Naruto-san, they won't let anything happen to her. Just trust in her skills she's gained and she'll be alright."
Neji looked down at the ground for a moment before spotting some more enemy shinobis coming. "I'll have to hold you to this Haku-san. . ."
Haku nodded as he took out some senbons, while creating an ice clone to watch over the civilians. "Yeah." The two then charged at the oncoming enemies until a large slam came out of nowhere and a massive toad with two katanas appeared.
Naruto, who was engulfed with Kurama's chakra rushed at Gaara with the Executioner Blade shrouded with red chakra send a chakra wave at Gaara forcing him to jump back a good distance. "Kurama, use some of your chakra to help Hinata-chan and Satsuki-chan break free from Gaara's hold."
"Got it." Kurama responded.
"THAT'S IT NAMIKAZE! MAKE ME FEEL. . . .ALIVE!" Screamed Gaara as he laughs insanely as he started some hand signs. "FEIGNING SLEEP TECHNIQUE!" He called out in madness.
"Kit! Stop him!" Kurama yelled as he began to push some of his chakra into the girls to give them a power boost to help them break free from Gaara's hold.
"GOT IT!" Naruto then rushed towards Gaara in the hopes of stopping him, only to get blown back by a huge chakra surge and smoke. "Crap!"
Soon the entire ground was shaking creating a shock wave big enough that could be felt through the entire village.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'M BACK BABY!" Cried out a unfamiliar high pitched voice. "I HOPE ALL OF YOU ARE READY TO DIE! I'M GONNA CAUSE SOME MASSIVE AND MAJOR SLAUGHTER! BWAHAHAHA!"
With enough of Kurama's chakra pumping through their bodies, both Hinata and Satsuki busted through the remaining sand encasing them and jumped over to where Naruto was.
"What the hell that?" Satsuki asked feeling immense pressure surrounding the area. "This energy. . . . .it feels. . .so dark." Satsuki thought to herself in shock as her body shivered for a moment.
Hinata looked at the cloud of smoke in anticipation while feeling Kurama's chakra heal whatever wounds she has and her chakra exhaustion.
"Shukaku. . . .!" Kurama growled out.
After a few moments the smoke cleared, revealing a large sand colored tanuki with eyes containing a four star pupil, blue vein like markings covering the body from head to toe, and Gaara, unconscious on top of the head.
"Th-that's Shukaku?!" Naruto cried out in shock.
"Yup, that's him, and now with him out you three have no choice but to go all out on him!" Kurama sent to the kids through the mind link.
"Alright, you heard him ladies, let's get this show on the road!" Naruto said in determination and he hefted his blade over his shoulder.
"Right Naruto-kun/Naru-kun!" Hinata and Satsuki said respectively as Satsuki got her tanto out and Hinata got into her Gentle Fist stance.
Satsuki gripped her tanto, breathing heavily at the giant enemy in front of her. "Let's do this, Naru-kun! Nata-chan! This is for our village!"
Shukaku stared at the three teens and grinned a toothy grin before inhaling some chakra causing his stomach to bulge. "Wind Style: Drilling Air Bullet!" Shukaku then shot out a large, chakra condensed bullet at the three.
"SCATTER!" Hinata screamed as she, Satsuki, and Naruto separated from the path of the attack as it caused the trees in it's path to be torn to shreds.
Temari, who was still there cried out as she slammed into a tree from the attack and fell down through a few branches and onto a large lower branch. "G-Gaara. . ." She muttered as she held her bleeding wound in pain, feeling that some of her ribs were bruised.
"Man, these guys really don't let up!" Fū got out as she kicked away another Oto shinobi.
"Hahaha, man this is fun!" Chomei called out, hopping from one enemy shinobi's head to another. "This give me more time to practice my moves!"
Fū almosted faltered at the remark Chomei had made. "Chomei, I know you like dancing, but seriously?"
"Yup!"
"Dammit! Get that brat!" One enemy shinobi said as a large group rushed at Chomei.
"Baka bakas! You can't get me that easily! I know all these kind of moves!" Chomei played taunted.
One of the Oto ninja soon crept up behind Chomei only to get nut-shotted.
Surrounding males, be the enemy or ally winced in sympathy while grabbing their jewels. While some females who were scattered among them sweat dropped at the display. "Men. . ." They all muttered among themselves, no matter what side they were on.
Fū looked at what Chomei had done, wincing at it as well. "That. . .looked like it hurt."
"Hehe," Chomei chuckled. "Let's see if I can break my record of nut-shotting people!" The enemies that heard paled at the thought. "Ready! Go!" Chomei then charged at the enemies.
Said enemies soon began screaming in a high pitched girl voice as their precious jewels were attacked.
". . .Was his record last time around a hundred or a thousand?" Fū deadpanned as she continued fighting. "Ah well."
"Protect me kunai!" One shinobi cried out before getting nut-shotted by an upward kick.
"My boys!" Cried out a Suna ninja as he was nut-shotted through some debris.
"I'll never be able to have kids!" Another Suna shinobi cried out in pain.
"Oooh! I. Got. An. IDEA!" Chomei yelled, creeping out everybody.
Fū paled, instantly knowing what her tenant was thinking. "On no. . .the Chomei special. . ."
As Fū said it, Chomei rushed towards the nearest opponent, and delivered a swift upper kick to his nuts. Then, while the enemy reeled backwards, he sprung into a handstand and grabbed the man's head with both his legs. Then, he started to spin the guy around, and released him at two other ninjas who were standing there. Chomei jumped up and created two separate clones, who grabbed him and slingshot him towards the ground with an unbelievable speed. The man he had thrown earlier landed feet-first in the guts of the other two nin, who were knocked out from the force. Just then, Chomei landed feet-first on both of the men's scrotums with enough force to crack the pavement in a five-foot radius. His clones landed soon behind him, and use an earth jutsu to create two thin pillars. Then, they use fire style to superheat the stone until it became extremely hard.
". . .This is gonna be brutal. . ." Fū remarked as she saw what Chomei was doing.
Then, the real Chomei dashed forwards again, grabbed two guys by their hair, twirled them around, and released them at the speed of a Lightning jutsu. The two men's jewels landed square on the pillars of stone, and the sound of breaking bones was audible all around.
"Now, for the glorious finale!" Chomei said, giggling uncontrollably, then performing a series of hand signs. "Earth Style: Murderous Rampage!" The ground began to tremor, and a series of small pillars, each the width of a sledgehammer, thrust upwards into the legs of every man in the vicinity. Multiple times. Squeals of pain were accompanied by the bodies of shinobi who were getting thrown upwards by the force of the pillars. "Earth Style: Grappling Hands!" A bunch of hands grabbed the arms and legs of the opponents, and spread them apart. "Earth Style: Channeling Spires! And now. . .Wind Style: Buzzsaw!" A group of small spires, each in pairs, appeared under each man. The Wind Release created spinning saws of cutting wind.
"Fū, I think the party's over. . . These guys decided to split!" And each and every man was thrown downwards with enough force to outpace a Jonin, and they were brought down onto the saws, where their groins were ripped apart by the wind saws.
"FATALITY!" Chomei roared triumphantly, bathing in the blood of his screaming enemies.
Fū looked on at the sight, sighing as she palmed her face. "Overboard again Chomei. . .once again, overboard. . ." She flatly said as other Konoha Shinobi looked at the sight, now knowing not to mess with Chomei.
Hiruzen started breathing heavily in exhaustion, the reason caused by Orochimaru and his reanimated senseis not giving him the time to gather nature energy to go into Sage Mode again. Enma tried as hard as he could, but three against two weren't the best odds, especially in a rectangular barrier that would burn anyone that would hit it.
"Ku ku ku ku ku, why must you continue to defend this slimy mud hole Sarutobi-sensei?"
"Mud hole? Slimy? My home this is young padawan!" Hiruzen shouted in defiance.
Meanwhile in a distant planet from a different universe, a short green creature sneezed, "Talking of me, someone is."
Things were getting worse. Sarutobi was able to gather chakra, but sage mode was a no-go, with two Kages and a Sannin on his tail. Enma was managing to fight, but he was quickly tiring and as Orochimaru would have put it, boring. Finally withdrawing himself to his fate, Hiruzen did the one thing that could end this battle. "Let's just hope I have enough left for this. . ." He thought to himself.
Tobirama started to go through hand signs, readying a jutsu. "Bringer-Of-Darkness Jutsu!"
"A-already?!" Hiruzen thought. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" He yelled, summoning two clones of himself as darkness shrouded around him. He then began another set of hand seals. "Snake, Boar, Ram, Rabbit, Dog, Rat, Bird, Horse, Snake! Sealing Jutsu! Reaper Death Seal!" He clapped his hands together and started concentrating. "Now Orochimaru, it is time for you to see the jutsu that will be your downfall!"
"Oh?" Orochimaru began a full-blown laugh, and brandished his sword. "My downfall? I think that 'Reaper Death Seal' of yours didn't work! What was supposed to happen? A flash of light? Well? You don't have enough chakra for a proper clone, and those Shadow Clones of yours are half-dead already!"
"Maybe he's right. . ." Hiruzen thought, despairingly. "Nothing's happened. . . huh?!" Just then, he felt a cold presence behind him, and dared a glance. A monstrous, translucent, gaunt spectre with a demonic visage and long, shaggy white hair, from which two red horns protruded, and dark greyish blue-coloured skin. It was draped in large white garments and carried a set of prayer beads with a tanto in it's mouth."Yes! This must be the Shinigami, the same one the Fourth used to seal Kurama in Naruto." Hiruzen almost jumped for joy; his final hope had arrived. He looked around him, and his clones exhibited similar markings on their bodies. On his mental command, they all charged for their respective opponents, and grabbed them. Then, they ordered the Shinigami to take the souls of their opponents. Quickly after the Shinigami began to pull his victims into the hell of his stomach, Hashirama and Tobirama lost their seals, and became themselves again - even if only for a second.
"Saru?" The First looked to his student. "Are we - is it over?"
Hiruzen sighed, before coughing up blood. "Yes, it's over - for you."
"Good," the First said, "at least. . . At least I won't be responsible for any part of Konoha's destruction. . ."
"Saru. . . It's good to see you again, monkey. . ." The Second said, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Heh. . . age didn't slow you down much, did it?"
"If only. . . I think you make me pull a muscle in my leg. . ." Hiruzen said, before laughing. Blood was suddenly expelled from his mouth.
"Well, at least I'll be freed from this curse of mine. . ." Tobirama looked at the village he had helped raise, and had once led proudly. "I never should have made the Reanimation Jutsu. . . I just hope the people can forgive me."
"In their eyes, you are still a hero." The Third retaliated.
"A hero, eh? Some hero, creating a Jutsu that can summon an army of unkillable soldiers. . ."
The Shinigami yanked on the two souls of Hashirama and Tobirama forcefully, forcefully separating them from their bodies. Their souls hovered around the Shinigami's prayer beads, waiting to be sent to hell with their last companion - Orochimaru, the dreaded Snake Sannin.
Speaking of the snake, the Reaper had a firm grasp on his soul, but the man obsessed with immortality wouldn't give up to death so easily. He had used Kusanagi to stab Hiruzen in the back, but Enma was holding it back. However, the Monkey King was rapidly weakening from the poison coating the blade.
"Summon. . ." The Third coughed. "Release. . ." The Shinigami grabbed the tanto from it's mouth, and in one fluid motion, chopped off soul Orochimaru's arms. The Snake Sannin screamed as his arms began to turn a sickly gray, like ash. Kusanagi suddenly stopped glowing, and the blade clanged on the floor. Enma, spent, returned to his home before his wounds became incurable. And Hiruzen Sarutobi, the God of Shinobi had sealed Orochimaru's arms, preventing him from ever using ninjutsu again. "The seal is set!"
Orochimaru waled in pain, seeing his arms completely useless now. "MY ARMS! MY ARMS!" He gave off a death like stare towards his former teacher as a snake came out of his mouth and grabbed his sword with his teeth as it then went to slash at him. "NOW YOU DIE MONKEY!"
The sword cleaved through Hiruzen's throat with no resistance; The Hokage, eyes wide, coughed up blood. As the Shinigami watched what was happening, the spirits of the First and Second struggled for the salvation of Sarutobi's soul.
"Saru!"
In a matter of seconds, Hashirama had separated the Shinigami from the old monkey with his wood style, and similarly restrained the Death God, and Tobirama further restrained the spirit king with seals of his own.
"We're not letting you take him!"
Angered, the Shinigami began to suck the three spirits into the void of it's own stomach, and the three shinobi were powerless to stop it. Suddenly, Tobirama had an idea - a suicidal idea.
"I only have one shot at this. . .forgive me brother. . .Saru. . ." Tobirama got out.
"Wait, what -" Hashirama asked, bewildered, before his younger brother quickly turned around, giving his older brother a quick palm-strike to the chest, sending him flying into Sarutobi, and they both tumbled near the old Kage's body.
Utilizing series of seals, Sarutobi and Hashirama were enveloped in a bright blue light, and disappeared into Hiruzen's body. As Hiruzen 'awoke', the essences of the two Kages watched through blurry eyes as Tobirama, fueled by the desire to protect his family and student, charged directly at the Shinigami, and punched it in the jaw. Then, he performed one last seal, this time sealing himself into the Death God, which gave an unearthly wail.
"Sensei!" Hiruzen cried out with two voices, before falling unconscious from the strain of what had just happened to him.
"Goodbye. . .Brother. . . Sarutobi. . .Do me proud. . ." The spirit of Tobirama said, as his soul was torn to pieces from the strain of resisting the Shinigami.
Orochimaru looked at his sensei, unsure what had just happened at the moment and honestly didn't care. "Damn you you old monkey. . ." He roared in pain as his arms swung back and forth, neither of them having any feeling at all, as he knew he had to retreat. "Sound Ninja Three! We are leaving now! The mission has failed!"
"Yes Orochimaru-sama!" They replied as they dispersed the barrier, before looking at the corpses of the First and Second, which were falling apart into paper-like strips. To their horror, the dead bodies of Sakon and Ukon stared at them with wide eyes and expressions of fear, as if they saw the Medusa and turned to stone.
"The fuck. . .?" The red-headed member of the three got out.
The largest member of the three simply sweated in place.
"Wh-Why, Orochimaru-sama?" The six-armed member asked.
"Ignore it for now you ingrates! Get me out of here! I have a meeting to attend to." Orochirmaru barked out as he then went to his knees.
"Y-yes sir. . ." The three replied, before the large one picked him up.
"Don't let them get away!" An Anbu called out as they started to charge at them. However, the one with six arms shot out a mass of strange web-like substance at them, forcing them to stop in order to not get caught.
"Damn!" An Anbu got out as he saw the four Oto shinobis disappear from their sights. "Hokage-sama!" Turning back to their fallen leader, they checked for his pulse and breath, only to be shocked at the results. "W-what?! Even though he was stabbed, his pulse, breathing, and even chakra are all stable! He should be dead!" He then turned to his comrades. "Get the medics over here immediately! We have to attend to Hokage-sama!"
"Yes sir!" They got out as they went to go find assistance.
The single Anbu that stayed behind to watch the Hokage noticed something off about their leader, but he couldn't quite place it. "What. . .happened to you. . .Hokage-sama. . ."
"DODGE!" Naruto called out as the three evaded another Drilling Air Bullet from Shukaku.
"Here comes another!" Hinata exclaimed, barely dodging a bundle of sand shurikens.
"Hold on guys! Fireball jutsu!" Satsuki declared as she shot multiple fireballs at Shukaku, even if it barely left a dent.
"Let me try!" Hinata shouted as she began doing some hand signs. "Liquid Bullet!" Her cheeks then started to swell with water before she spat out a large water bullet towards Shukaku followed soon by a group of smaller sized ones.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, YOU THINK A PUNY LITTLE DROP OF WATER, WILL DO ANYTHING TO THE MIGHTY SHUKAKU?! I AM A TAILED BEAST YOU PUNY INSECTS! NOTHING CAN HURT ME!" Shukaku yelled out before sending another barrage of air bullets.
"Ugh, just as cocky as ever." Kurama remarked. "When he isn't acting crazy, he acts cocky. Got any plans on shutting him up kits?"
"Nope." Naruto bluntly said.
"No really." Satsuki deadpanned.
Hinata gulped as she looked at the sand beast, Byakugan activated. "Wait. . .I see Gaara up on Shukaku's head. . .what if we attack that!?"
"We could try. . . .If we could get that high I mean. . .!" Satsuki said, quickly slashing through some sand kunais with her tanto. "Now how the hell can we get up there!?"
"I think I may have an idea, but I'm gonna need some of Kurama's chakra and some time, think you two can manage that for me?" Naruto said already concentrating and bringing Kurama's chakra onto the surface.
"We can try Naru-kun. Come on Nata-chan!" Satsuki called out as the two got next to each other.
"Right!" Hinata called out as she took out two paper bombs wrapped around some kunai. "As Naruto-kun would say. . ."
"Let's go wild!" The two girls said in unison as they charged at Shukaku with determined looks on their faces.
"I hope this works!" Naruto thought, feeling a bit desperate while red chakra soon covered his entire body.
"You got this kit!" Kurama shouted in encouragement. ". . .Although I still don't like you fully as much as the girls. . ." He added.
"Thanks so much for your love you fuzzy perverted butt licking furrball." Naruto sarcastically said with a smirk.
"You're welcome kit!" Kurama said obnoxiously, adding a chuckle at the end.
"AHHHH!" Screamed both girls before then were sent flying back towards the ground before back flipping to safety.
"Well, that was tough!" Hinata got out, holding her side.
Satsuki panted as she and Hinata looked at the massive beast before chuckling. "Just goes to show that we have to get even stronger Nata-chan."
"Ladies, get back with the kit! Things are gonna get even more hectic than before!"
"Alright! Time to end this!" Naruto cried out as he jumped high in the air and bit his finger drawing blood. "SUMMONING JUTSU!" He then slammed his hand downwards and summoned the Great Boss of the Toad Summoning Contract, Gamabunta.
"What the!?" Gamabunta got out. "Where the hell am I!?" He then eyed Naruto, who was standing on top of him. "Boy what is the meaning of this! I was about to take my afternoon shower!"
"Sorry Chief, but I need your help!" Naruto said as he stood on the top of Gamabunta's head.
"Hmm?" Gamabunta then saw Shukaku, swishing his tail back and forth. "WHAT IN THE NAME OF KAMI IS SHUKAKU DOING HERE OF ALL PLACES!?"
"His container Gaara was sent to participate in the exams as part of an invasion plan, but he was unstable. If we don't defeat him we can kiss Konoha goodbye!"
"Not to mention that Orochimaru's attacking as well!" Satsuki called out as she and Hinata ran up Gamabunta after getting close enough to hear them.
"Orochimaru eh? Well, we'll deal with him later if we can. For right now we've got a Biju to worry about. . .it does explains why so many of my brethren were being summoned by Jiraiya."
"So you'll help!?" Naruto asked while grinning.
"You betcha kid! I owe him for this scar he gave me when we last fought!" Gamabunta then eyed the two girls. "We'll have to get introductions later, for now, we fight!"
"Aye sir! The three said as they held onto Gamabunta's back.
"You kids hold on tight you hear?!" Gamabunta shouted as he took his weapon from it's sheath and jumps toward Shukaku intent on lopping off an arm.
"Wind Style: Air Bullet" Shukaku cried out as a condensed air bullet shot out at Gamabunta and the kids.
"Ahhhhhhh!" "Ahhhhhhh!" Both Gamabunta and the kids scream as the attack connected and shot them back a few feet.
"Oi! He's got my attack!" Naruto remarked at Shukaku using Air Bullet.
"Of course he does kid! He's a wind nature type Biju!" Gamabunta commented.
"So what do we do now!?" Satsuki asked when she sees that none of their attacks really made a difference. "By the way? Why the hell is Gaara unstable like he is!?"
"it could be that his seal is either faulty, or whatever seal that was used wasn't compatible for a living person. Okay kid, you see that Gaara kid on top of Shukaku's head?" Gamabunta asked Naruto.
"Yeah, what about him?" Naruto asked as he tilted his head in confusion.
"We have to wake the kid up, if the kids awake then Shukaku will get sent back into the seal." Gamabunta said.
"So all we have to do is wake him up?" Hinata asked as she stared at Gaara on top of the massive beast.
"That's correct little Hyuga child, alright kid, I need you to think of something big with large claws so I can grab onto Shukaku, then you have a chance to wake the kid up. Got it?" Gamabunta asked as he sheathed his weapon.
"Right! And I already have a good idea what to change into!" Satsuki called out as she, Hinata and Naruto also knew what to change into.
"Alright kids, get ready!" Gamabunta said. He stared at Shukaku for a few moments before leaping for him. "NOW!"
"RIGHT! TRANSFORM!" The three shouted, engulfing themselves and Gamabunta in a massive amount of smoke, enough of it to cause Shukaku to cover his eyes.
As the smoke spread around the area, nine orange tails shot of out the smoke and a loud roar emitted from the smoke, shaking the Leaf Village and it's citizens to it's core as they haven't heard a sound like that since twelve years ago.
". . .They are sooooo gonna react to this you three. . ." Kurama deadpanned while thinking "Do I look that fat around the midsection?" Before he poked himself with his paw.
"We know." Naruto said.
"But we don't give a single damn." Satsuki added.
"They will just have to accept it. Accept us for who we are." Hinata finished.
"If they can't that's tough cookies for them, besides, we can always prank them once this is over." Naruto said with a foxy grin.
Satsuki and Hinata giggled at the thought. "Only if we can join too." Hinata remarked.
"Once a team, always a team." Satsuki finished.
Back in Konoha, the remaining civilians stop dead in their tracks as they hear the sound that haunts them in their very dreams.
"No. . .OH KAMI NOOOOOOOOOOO!" One civilian, who was also a Naruto-hater cried out as she saw the beast.
"I knew it! I knew we should have gotten rid of that child! Now he's going to kill us all as his revenge!" Screamed a second Naruto-hater who had kicked him out of his shop when the demon was younger.
"Death to all demons!" A larger group of civilians yelled out before they were bombarded with kunais and shurikens from enemy shinobis that saw them.
The Konoha shinobis on the other hand, were informed about Naruto, Hinata and Satsuki's unique relationship with the Kyuubi thanks to the Hokage, looked on in awe at the sight.
"Those kids are going to make something of themselves one day, if they haven't already." Said an anbu with a wolf mask.
A trio of anbu, one with a hawk, one with a tiger and one with a grasshopper saw the sight before nodding to each other.
"We can't let them outdo us." Taka, the one with the red hawk mask said.
"It's time to end this fight." Tora, the one with the yellow tiger mask said
"For Konoha!" Cheered Batta, the final member with the green grasshopper mask said as the all then headed out.
"N-NII-SAN!?" Shukaku got out, shocked to see his older brother. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE!?"
Gamabunta, who was transformed into the Nine Tailed Fox felt much more feral than before thinking of the irony of the situation. Twelve years ago he helped stop the fox, only for him to take it's form to stop yet another Tailed Beast. "Of all the things to change into. . ." Gamabunta muttered. "I guess it will have to do!"
"Alright kids! Get going and wake him up!" The newly transformed Gamabunta said as he used his claws to grip onto Shukaku and his tails to hold him in place.
"RIGHT!" The three teens shouted before running down the 'Kyuubi's' arms, Satsuki, grabbing onto Hinata's arm while Hinata grabbed Naruto's arm, then began spinning and flung Naruto towards Shukaku's head once they were close enough.
"WAKE UP YOU BASTARD!" Naruto scream as he cocked his fist back and slammed it right into Gaara's face, slowly bringing him back to consciousness.
"YES!" Hinata cheered.
"WE GOT HIM!" Satsuki exclaimed with happiness and relief.
"NOOOOOOOOOO! I JUST GOT OUT! I CAN'T GO BACK INSIDE THIS FOOL YET!" Shukaku screamed as he disintegrated, his color fading from his body and started falling apart.
After Shukaku vanished both Naruto and Gaara started falling from an incredible height.
"NARUTO-KUN/NARU-KUN!" Both girls screamed as they saw him and Gaara heading for the ground at a high speed.
Before they got too close to the ground for an impact with it, the 'Kyuubi' used his tails and grabbed onto the both of them and carefully set them down onto the ground along with the girls before transforming back into Gamabunta. "Make sure to summon again some time kid!" Gamabunta said before returning to the summoning realm.
Naruto grunted as you slowly stood up using the tree as leverage before making his way over to Gaara. He panted heavily, a sign of being out of chakra.
"Gotta recharge kit." Kurama remarked. "I'm gonna rest up."
"Right, thanks for the help Kurama." Naruto said via mind link before he cut it off to let the fox sleep. "Gaara. . . . ."
"No! S-stay away! I don't want to stop existing! G-get away from me!" Gaara cried out in a fit of panic. "I WILL NOT DISAPPEAR! MY EXISTENCE WILL NOT BE ERASED!"
"It hurts doesnt it. . . . . . .to be alone for almost your entire life." Naruto started, as Hinata and Satsuki held him up by his arms. "I was just like you Gaara, until I found people who see me for who I am, not what I held."
Hinata panted as she looked at Gaara with compassion. "Naruto-kun is right Gaara-san. . .at first, I was once a scared little girl, completely afraid of everything and not being able to speak my mind. . .but then I found Naruto-kun, who ended up changing me for the better, a strong and confident girl who was able to make true bonds with others."
Satsuki crossed her arms over her chest as she looked at Gaara with understanding. "My story is a little different than Nata-chan's. You see, I had hidden my true self so that the greedy civilian council couldn't force me under their rule. I thought I was gonna be alone forever. I had to lock up everything that was me and create a completely different person who didn't even exist. When I became Naru-kun's friend, I felt as if I could be myself around him. Now it's because of him, I was able to get the confidence in myself to let the entire village know that truth about myself and not care what they think. It's because of our bond with Naruto that we could facethe world and not feel frightened."
"F-Friend? Bond?" Gaara asked, since he himself never knew what those feelings were like and the words were foreign to him.
Hinata nodded as she kneeled down to Gaara. "Yes Gaara-san, you yourself have potential bonds, you just have to accept them."
"W-Who would ever. . .accept me, everyone is afraid of me, even my so called siblings." Gaara stated feeling depressed.
"They are not scared of you Gaara, but for you. They were always scared of the thought that Shukaku would permanently take over control and lose their little brother." Naruto said as he saw Gaara look towards Temari's direction.
"It's true Gaara, I just want my little brother. . . ." Temari said as she struggled to walk over where Gaara is.
"Oi, before I forget, I gotta give you something." Satsuki said before walking up to Gaara and smacking him over the head.
"Satsuki-chan!" Naruto and Hinata exclaimed, shocked that she suddenly did that.
"That's for acting like a pervert during this last month!" Satsuki said as she then turned to Temari. "Let's just say your little brother had a nosebleed when he first saw the real me."
Temari sweatdropped before kneeling down next to a somewhat shocked Gaara. "So that explains why you asked me about that today. . ."
Soon a bundle of bushes began shaking and a somewhat exhausted and beaten up Kankuro comes through ready to bring out his puppets to defend his siblings.
"Enough! Kankuro. . . .Temari, let's go. . .I'm done. . ." Gaara said in an exhausted tone as he was hoisted up by his siblings, each arm draped over their shoulders. "I'm sorry. . . .for everything I did. . . ."
Both Temari and Kankuro looked at each other in surprise before Temari shook her head. "It's alright Gaara. . .we're just glad you'll be okay."
As the three sand Genin left with Gaara around them, the three preteens finally show their exhaustion and pass out on the ground.
"We. . .did it. . .we. . .won. . ." Each of the teens thought before letting their consciousness drift away from exhaustion.
Moments passed before they were found by Kurenai and Kakashi.
"These kids sure are special, aren't they?" Kakashi said as he created a clone and picked up Naruto while the clone got Satsuki.
"Yes they will, they are strong and faithful to each other. Kami help the person who ever threatens them." Kurenai said as she picked up Hinata and carried her piggyback style.
"Let's get them to a hospital, if the civilians saw what we did, we'll have to stand guard and make sure they are getting good treatment. Hiashi-sama came up to me during the fighting to take the three to the Hyuga compound for possible protection." Kakashi said.
"Right." Kurenai said as they both dashed off towards the hospital. "Things are gonna get rough now with all the reveals. . ."
Kakashi nodded in agreement. "Yeah. . .I have the feeling that certain people are gonna make their moves. . ."
"Do you mean?"
"Yeah. . .he might try and do something. . .possibly to these three." As the two jonin got closer to the village, they saw a massive smoke tower, much bigger the other ones and knowing who's building it was that was burning. ". . .Naruto's gonna need a new apartment."
"Yeah. . . just be glad the civilians didn't know about Naruto and Satsuki are living together and that Naruto's apartment has been abandoned." Kurenai said.
"Who knows what they would have done with that information." Kakashi said before suppressing a shudder of horror. "Although I do sense some people in front of Satsuki's apartment. They are probably expecting her."
"Can you tell who is waiting for her Kakashi?" Kurenai asked as she pushed Hinata higher on her back.
". . .Anbu. . .unfamiliar ones. . ." Kakashi briefly said, diverting their course to the hospital to avoid them.
Kurenai's eyes widen for a moment before hardening. "So it's those kind. . ."
"Yeah. . .his men. . ." Kakashi said as the duo arrived at the hospital. "Danzō. . .just what are you planning. . ." He thought in anger.

Oh, HELL NO! Temari would never lose to such a pathetic throw-away peon like Zaku! Hell, his NAME means "grunt"! And not the noise variety either. Seriously, WTF?! I have been quiet on many things so far; bad grammar, misspelled words, missing words, giving the Curse Mark to those too weak to survive in that 90% death toll (Zaku, Dosu, SAKURA), And now you expect me to believe that Temari would lose to ZAKU?! Well, then. For starters: Temari vs. Zaku. As you said, Zaku is merely a grunt, and Temari is widely considered the best Wind-master of the Sand village. However, it is because of that fact that she lost. As Gaara told her, she should not have let herself be distracted and finished the battle quickly. However, after her initial attack, she became cocky and believed that she won. Also, if you observe the anime closely, one can easily say that Zaku's concentrated wind blasts are far quicker than Temari's wind attacks, which advance like a wall. So, Temari has more area covered and has better brute force, while Zaku is faster. Also, since Temari was caught off guard, she was unable to dodge his full attack.
Next: Curse Marks. I really don't want to go in depth with this subject, so: JG's story. He can do what he wants.
And finally: Don't lose your faith in this story. There are absolutely horribly written stories that actually have good plot or an intriguing idea, so there is no reason to lose faith in a well-written one with a large, sturdy plot, and strong characters.

Excellent chapter. Please let hiruzen live through the invasion. Someone needs to be there for our three favorite hero's. I've read to many stories where he dies and things get worse. Please, please, please let him live.
First of all thank you for that lovely comment in the beginning. Yes Hiruzen lives. Why? Well because he is too awesome to die and he is well loved. I was actually pissed when he died in the show. He will still be out and about so do not worry your pretty little head my friend. He's just gonna be down for now because I think he deserves a little bit of a rest dont'cha think?
