(In light of the Tekken anime and a potential Tekken 8 announcement potential being a key word, I at least want to publish one chapter of a Tekken fanfiction that have been playing in my head. That being said, I'm sorry for having this chapter rushed, it'll hopefully be edited in the future. Also, pardon my English. It is not my first language.)

Tekken 8: Breach

Chapter 0

"Akari Saito?", the girl asked as soon as she approached the middle aged lady that has been bothering her for quite a time now through emails, mails, and sometimes both everyday.

The young lady was about to voice herself but after seeing tears flowing down the woman's face, she stopped herself. It was confusing to her, "Do you really want to meet me that much that it is enough for you to shed tears?", but irritation from how the conversation is going can be heard in her voice more.

"My apologies for my tears, Mihatsu," Akari said as she was draining her tears with her handkerchief, "I'm just so glad that you finally decided to see me," she added smiling sweetly but it quickly disappeared when she saw Mihatsu's grim face.

"And I'm sorry for the bother I brought you. But before I tell you my reasons, please take a seat. You don't want their attention, do you?" after Akari mentions that, Mihatsu finally noticed the crowd that has been observing them, or more particularly her. Why won't they have their eyes on her? Mihatsu is still wearing her school uniform that represents one of the elite school in her country. And the way she's been behaving since she entered the restaurant is not something that is to be expected from a student of KZM International School.

Mihatsu bows to the crowd, "My apologies for the commotion I made. Kindly return to where you were. It won't happen again," and took her seat. On cue, a waiter appeared on their table and give both of them the menus. "Do you want anything in particular?", Akari asked. "What do you need from me?," Mihatsu asked back and gives the menu back to the waiter. She just got a sweet smile from Akari that brought her annoyance but chose to not show it worried that the people around them may pay her their attention again.

"We'll take our orders later, thank you," Akari said to the waiter with a smile. As soon as the waiter leave the table, "Help me spy on G Corporation," Akari's smile is nowhere to be seen.

"Huh? Me?," although Mihatsu was eager to know why Akari wanted to meet her, the reason that came out of her mouth is far from anything she expected, "Why does it have to be me?," and confusion in her voice is more than enough to reflect that.

"Don't you want to?"

"Even if I want to, my brother doesn't want me involve with them. Even if he doesn't mind that, I have a school to attend and I don't really want to bother my studies. So why can't you just do it by yourself, Ms. Saito?"

"If only I can Mihatsu, I would not have go out my way to bother you that much," discontentment apparent in her voice. "And about your brother, he doesn't have to know, does he? Your studies? I can help you with it. The school? Do you know about this?," Akari gave Mihatsu a folder containing G Corporation's recent job hiring. "I know of this. It's quite a talk at KZM. It's a job that allows students to not have any complication with their school attendance anyways, so that's no wonder."

"Figured. So what do you say about applying?"

"Don't you think this is suspicious?"

"I think it is, but I already had me and one of the best private investigator check its legitimacy and it is, it really is," said Akari that made Mihatsu raised an eyebrow, "What's the matter?"

"A private investigator? So you can get one of their kind? Why don't you just have one of them do the job then?"

"They may actually work for G Corp. during the job. With you, I at least know that you won't ever side with them because they are your brother's enemy."

"How did you even know that they're my brother's enemy?," Mihatsu asked suspiciously.

"I," Akari avoids Mihatsu's eyes, "I actually found out about you through him," take a deep breath and looks straight at Mihatsu's eyes. "You see, I've been working with Lee Chaolan. You're familiar with him, yes?"

"Violet Systems' CEO, the one with a very noticeable silver hair. I saw him once with my brother. I believe he's collaborating with him to clean up the mess he made four years ago," Mihatsu said remembering the time when she saw her brother with the said man and someone else with sandy brown hair.

If she remembered and heard their conversation right that one time, they were talking about shutting down one of G Corporation's facilities. And if she were to assume about them, those men have huge influences over some of G Corporation's enemies.

"Hmm," Akari nods in agreement, "Chaolan and I also have been helping each other to attempt to stop Kazuya Mishima in his quest for power for the past two years. So in that sense, I'm also collaborating with your brother. And you infiltrating G Corp. for me means that you'll finally be helping him."

"How can I be sure that everything that I'll get from G Corp. will be known to my brother and his allies?," while Mihatsu is still skeptical of the one she's talking to, what Akari will answer might actually have herself work with the woman.

"I'll let you see the actual delivery of information. I'll also ask Chaolan to let you specifically know that he actually received it. How will you know that the confirmation is real? I believe that you trust your judgement. If you don't, I'll let you have an actual conversation with him." And there it was, as if Akari exactly knows what she wants to hear, Mihatsu can now confirm to herself regarding her cooperation with the espionage.

"What do you think now, Mihatsu? What else are your concerns?"

"I'll," even though she's ready to help Akari, "I'll give you my final answer tomorrow. I still have to see something," she still want to see something from her brother.

"Understood," Akari gave Mihatsu something, "Here is my calling card," Akari said smiling. "I'll be expecting your call or your visit, either way works fine."

Mihatsu stood up and offer Akari a handshake to which the latter responded. "Thank you for your offer. Although I'll be honest and say that I'm still quite mad with the disturbance you brought me," Mihatsu said formally.

"I know and I'm really sorry about that. But I hope that despite of that, you'll still agree to help me," Akari said hopefully.

"We'll see," Mihatsu said and bowed to Akari and left the restaurant.
