44. Chapter 44

Chapter 44: Trials of Growth

A few meters away from the Team Seven and Viper Squad new home. . .

Kakashi and Haku were walking at a slow rate as they headed to their students new house a day after the Naruto clone had told them about their home. Haku had his casual clothing on while Kakashi still had his normal jonin outfit.

"I'm really glad that they have a new place they can call home." Haku suddenly commented with a smile on his face.

Kakashi simply nodded in agreement as he too was happy for them, but more so for Naruto as he knew that the boy really need a place he can truly call home and not a place he can simply live there, but a place he can be with those he care for. "Well. . .It will make things interesting from now on." He then admitted with an amused tone.

"Hey!" A deep male voice suddenly called out to Kakashi and Haku.

Said father and son turned around and instantly recognized the one that called them. "Yo, Asuma, Kurenai." Kakashi lazily greeted as he waved at the fellow sensei's.

"Hello, are you also going to visit our students new home?" Haku asked polite at the two jonins.

Kurenai nodded at the question. "As a matter of fact we are, one of Naruto's clones told us yesterday and we both decided to visit." She stated, though deep down the kunoichi just really wanted to see Hinata after a long time and she also needed to talk to an ex-female student she had since the last one is missing.

Asuma took a deep breath of his cigarette and blew the smoke, then threw the bud of the smoke his feet before he stump it. "Well since we're all going to the same place, let's just all go together." He suggested.

Kakashi merely shrugged his shoulders to that while Haku nodded in agreement to the idea. However, before they could say anything else. . .

"DYNAMIC!" A familiar voice started. "ENTRY!" He then declared.

Everyone, except Kakashi, were startled by this as they instantly turn to look what it was only for a green blur passing by then with insane speeds while heading straight at the strangely calm and still reading Kakashi.

Just as the blur was about the hit the silver haired jonin, he quickly and skillfull took a step to the side not once taking his eyes from his favorite book as the blur passed him. . .and hit the tree next to him.

CRASH!

At the sound of trees crashing Kakashi finally looked up from his book and turned to the shocked stepson and fellow jonin. "Hmm, did you guys hear something?" He then questioned in an uninterested tone.

This made everyone else instantly sweatdropped in unison. "Why am I even bothered by this. . .this has been happening since we were kids. . ." Kurenai stated as her eye twitch.

Haku soon turned to the kunoichi with a mild confused look on his face. "This has been happening since that long?" He asked, not willingly believing such a thing.

"Yup. . ." Asuma bluntly answered while rubbing his head.

Then a fallen tree was sent flying upward as a slightly beat down Gai came out while giving his large smile. "As expected from my eternal rival! You skillfully saw my attack coming a mile away didn't you!?" He declared with enthusiasm.

Kakashi then looked up from his book as he looked at the bowl cut spandex wearing shinobi. "Ah, I didn't realize it was you Gai. Did you just say something?" He stated then asked before going back to reading his novel.

"DAMN YOU KAKASHI! YOU AND YOUR HIP YOUNG ATTITUDE!" Gai then declared as he held a fist in frustration.

"This. . ." Haku suddenly started. "Has been happening for years. . .?" He finished with a slightly annoyed tone.

"Yes." Asuma and Kurenai answered in unison with a not so contained annoyance.

Then the three decided to leave the two said eternal rivals to their normal banter as they headed towards the trios new home.

Not that far away. . .

"Jeez Anko-chan, we may have messed up your old place, but you still had a lot of shit left over from our session." Kurama admitted in his human transformation.

"Meh! That place isn't mine anymore, so it's someone else's problem now!" Anko simply retorted. "And I gotta admit, that new place is pretty sweet!" She then added.

Kurama then smirked at the thought of the new place. "This means that we can have our night sessions as much as we want." He coolly stated.

"Well. . .you know I really love to, but I'm not so sure that Hokage-sama would be so kind to us if we do so. . ." Anko fearfully admitted.

Kurama then rolled his eyes to that. "Please, we're our own people, she can't control us." He then stated.

"True, I never let anyone control me, but I really don't want to get her pissed off. . .you know how she is when she is." Anko reminded. "Nor I would want you to try and flirt with her to get your way, your mine." She then added with slightly narrow eyes.

Kurama then sweatdropped as he remembered the nice cruise sailing the Senju gave him and Jiraiya when they first meet her. "Trust me. . .that wouldn't work and I also wouldn't dare make her mad either. . ." He replied while chuckling nervously.

While true the Bijū could easily kill any man or woman in his full power, this include any of the three Sannin, but even the mightiest of the Bijū's is terrified of a womans fury. "Not to mention your ex-sensei's bottom bitch Kabuto drugged her and Jiraiya into having sex together." Kurama then added.

Anko's jaw dropped comedically to the ground when she heard that. "Wait- Who did what now!?" She shouted in shock.

"That white haired, glasses wearing bitch of Orochimaru's." Kurama soon answered again. "You know, the same one that became your prisoner for a while." He then added.

"I KNOW ABOUT HIM! I MEANT THE SEX THING BETWEEN HOKAGE-SAMA AND JIRAIYA!" Anko roared in annoyance.

Kurama merely chuckled to that reaction. "It was as I said, Kabuto's drug got the two really drunk in the head and lead to the two getting it on for a night." He then stated once more. "He possibly thought he could weaken the two before a massive fight, but they didn't plan on the kit and his fiancés coming in and turn the tides against them." He explained his deduction.

To all this new information, Anko then began to imagine both the Toad and Slug Sannin members having a moment similar to herself and Kurama, causing her to blush. "That is so wrong. . ." Was all she had to say on the matter.

The two simply dropped the subject as they continue heading to their new place. Anko then saw a very familiar sight of bandage wearing kunoichi. This made the Snake Mistress grin evilly.

"Why those that expression looks so familiar. . ." Kurama thought to himself before grinning in realization. "Oh hell yeah!" He got out in excitement and satisfaction for what was coming.

Anko suddenly disappeared and in a quick and silence of a snake, appeared behind the unsuspected Genjutsu Mistress as her eyes flashes like a predator. "Fun time!" She thought in a lust filled tone while licking her lips.

Meanwhile, Kakashi then looked to the side while reading before sighing at what was going to happen. "Haku, there's something you need to watch as the pride of being a man." He suddenly stated.

Haku then turned towards his stepfather in confusion. "Eh?" He got out.

As if to answer this. . .

"KYA!" A very girlish scream was heard around them before being followed with the sounds of moaning.

"Heya Nai-chan~!" Another female voice happily and seductively replied.

All of the male companions soon turned to the sounds and blushed darkly, save for Gai, at what their eyes were seeing as a variety of nosebleeds fell from their noses. There was Anko behind Kurenai while the latter was being groped by the first in a very inappropriate fashion.

"It looks like they've gotten slightly bigger Nai-cha you want me to help you get them even bigger?" Anko then asked as she worked her hands to get under the bandages.

Kurenai meanwhile had a completely red head at the action happening to her. "A-Anko. . .Let go of me!" She struggled out.

"Nope!' Anko immediately responded without a care and a grin on her face.

Kurama too had a massive nosebleed a he enjoyed the show for everything it's got. "Damn! Looks like the Uchiha's breast groping is contentious! And I love it!" He got out as the rest of the males, save Gai and to much lesser extent Haku, completely agreed.

Anko giggled in response to that. "Nope, I always did this to Nai-chan before the Uchiha was even born!" She declared with pride.

"Did you really have to say that!?" Kurenai declared before she let out another moan. "S-Stop pinching!" She then pleaded.

That was all the males, save Gai and Haku, could take as they flew backwards via rocket nose bleeds from both nostrils while making Haku sweatdropped at their reactions. "Really?" The Ice user questioned.

"Are you kidding!?" Kurama was the first to recovered as he sat on the ground with an infuriated look on his face. "How can you call yourself a man if you don't enjoy a girl on girl action!?" He roared with indignation.

"One with respect for the opposite sex." Haku bluntly answered as his face was emotionless.

"Well said Haku! Well said indeed!" Gai declared with a thumbs up and shining teeth as like the Ice user, he too was a very polite and courteous male towards females.

However the both of them only expressed that ideology with woman when it comes this particular subject and when it's not related in combat. Because by no means they would not treat them as weaklings as they knew females can be even more very lethal than any male could.

"Says the guy that probably never got laid. . ." Was the thought of the other males save for Haku.

Kurenai meanwhile took this moment to snake out of the purple haired jonin's grip and took a step away from her. "At least their some men that knows when to be gentlemen when it's must be done." She praised the two while glaring at Anko as said kunoichi whistle innocently.

"You really are fooled if you can't figure out that there's another pervert here. . ." Kurama then groaned out as he got back to his feet. "Just be proud to be a pervert." He then added.

"What are you even talking about?" Kurenai asked as she and everyone else were wondering the same thing.

Kurama merely chuckled as he pointed a thumb to the Ice user. "You should've seen what happened to him in Snow." He then vaguely stated.

"Huh?" Was everyone's reply.

However, Haku instantly knew what the Bijū was implying. "Oh no. . ." He thought to himself.

Kurama's smirk didn't leave his face for a moment. "That your little gentleman was infact a closet perv that likes to push down girls and grouping them while being on top~" He sing song with pure amusement.

This made everyone's jaws comedically dropped to the ground as they looked at Haku with disbelief and shock.

"I'm so proud Haku. . .you joining the perv side. . ." Kakashi said with a fake crying.

Haku's head immediately went red to that. "THAT WAS A COMPLETE AND UTTER ACCIDENT!" He declared in a panic. "WE WE'RE FIGHTING AND I SLIPPED THAT RESULTED IN ME FALLING ON TOP OF HER! AND THE GROPING WAS AN ACCIDENT!" He then roared his explanation.

Kurenai instantly calmed down when she hear that. "I believe you Haku, I know your not a perv like the rest of this pack of pervs." She pointed at all but Gai.

"OH COME ON!" Kurama then roared.

"There's nothing wrong with perverts Nai-chan!" Anko declared.

"Guilty as charge." Was all Kakashi had to say.

"How was I labeled a perv?" Asuma asked not even knowing how he got up in this situation.

"You had a nosebleed." Kurenai then bluntly answered, making said perv felt like an arrow pierce his chest.

"Um. . .aren't we heading for are youthful students new home?" Gai soon asked as he was wondering why this situation even happen.

With all tomfoolery done with, they all headed towards Team Seven's new home.

Back at the training ground of the Team Seven residence. . .

All of the rookie Chunins were stretching and loosening up, save for Shikamaru that was taking a nap as they were getting ready for their sparring matches.

"Yosha!' Lee then cheered in excitement as he adjusted his leg weights. "I am ready for some youthful sparring matches!" He declared.

"Hell yeah! I'm ready to go!" Naruto replied as he was just as excited as the jumpsuit wearing friend.

Ino had just finished her stretches as she took a deep breath and turned at the rest of her friends. "So how are we going to split the matches?" She then asked.

This made everyone stop what they were doing as they now were wondering the same thing. "Indeed, how are we to decide it to make the matches fairly chosen." Shino asked.

"Rock, paper, scissors!" Kiba shouted his suggesting.

"Really Kiba?" Tenten then deadpan her questioned.

This made Kiba disinflate all enthusiasm. "You got a better idea?" He asked

"No, but something better than rock, paper, and scissors." Tenten then bluntly answered.

This made everyone laugh and chuckle at the disinflated Inuzuka. Then Hinata saw that Naruto was looking at his shinobi back. "What are you doing Naruto-kun?" She asked her fiancé.

At the question everyone stopped laughing as they turned to looked at the blond.

"Yes!" Naruto shouted as he finally found what he was looking for. "We can used these!" He shouted as he pulled out something.

Neji blinked as he was the objects. "Drawing straws?" He questioned with confusion.

"Yeah! This way is a good way to decide, I mean we did something like this during the Chunin Exams right?" Naruto reminded with a big grin on his face.

"That's not a bad idea, but. . ." Kin started.

"Why do you have drawing straws in your shinobi bag?" Neji finished the question.

"Why not?" Naruto simply replied.

This made everyone either sweatdrop or chuckle at the very Naruto like reply.

"Well then let's just get this starting then!" Satsuki declared with excitement as she was the first to pick one of the straws.

Then one by one began to pick their own straws until everyone had one.

"So who's fighting who!?" Satsuki then asked. "I'm number five!" She then added as she waved her number five straw.

"Number twelve for me." Kin revealed.

"Number thirteen. . ." Shikamaru lazily said.

"Number one." Hinata simply stated.

"Number three!" Naruto excitedly shouted.

"Number six is mine." Ino answered.

"I AM NUMBER TEN!" Lee shouted with even more vigour than his blond friend.

"Number nine." Neji revealed as he smirked at who was going to be his opponent.

"Number eleven." Tenten calmly stated.

"Yes! Lucky number seven!" Kiba shouted as he thought luck was finally was on his side.

"HEY! THAT'S MY LINE KIBA!" Chōmei however whined with a pout on his face.

"Number eight." Shino calmly revealed, making all lucky feeling Kiba had disappeared in an instant.

"Mine is number two." Fū revealed.

"Number fourteen." Chōji muffled out with his mouth full of chips.

"Number four." Yami calmly stated.

WIth this revelations of each numbers the matches were settle.

The first round was going to be Hinata against Fū.

Hinata and Fū then looked at one another. "I won't hold back Hinata-chan." Fū advised with a smile.

"I won't either." Hinata replied while also smiling back. "However since this is just a sparring match, we shouldn't use our Bijū chakra if it's alright with you." She added.

Fū nodded in response to that as she looked at her opponent. "Yeah, I'm alright with that." She then replied.

The second match will be Naruto vs Yami.

This made Naruto grin widely as Yami smiled lightly as she too was pleased by this.

For the third match, it was going to be Satsuki vs Ino.

Satsuki giggled as she looked at the platinum blonde. "This'll be fun, I hope your stronger than Haruno when she fought me before the Chunin Exams." The Uchiha remarked.

Ino could only giggled nervously at that. "I'll try and show the best I got. . ." She replied with slight fear and excitement, while on the inside she felt sad at the mention of her once good friend. "Sakura. . ." She thought to herself.

For the fourth match, it will be Kiba vs Shino.

"Lucky seven my ass. . ." Kiba declared while crying for having to fight one of the people he really didn't want to fight against.

"HEY!" Chōmei shouted in anger.

Shino merely adjusted his glasses and nodded in confirmation at who will be his opponent.

The fifth match will be Neji vs Lee.

"YES! OUR FATEFUL AND YOUTHFUL REMATCH HAS FINALLY COME!" Lee excitedly declared with a fire behind him.

Neji meanwhile sighed to the antics and said nothing in response.

The sixth match will Tenten vs Kin.

"Great! I can now show off what I've been working on!" Tenten declared.

Kin nodded as she held some senbons. "Time to show off my training with Gai-sensei and Lee-kun." She got out.

And the final match will be Shikamaru vs Chōji.

Shikamaru merely sighed to that, finding it as usual troublesome, while Chōji kept eating his favorite flavored chips.

Now that everyone had acknowledge who will face who, everyone but Hinata and Fū gave the two some space for their spar.

However as they were leaving Satsuki saw Ino was still standing in place and had a depressed face.

"Ino-chan?" Satsuki then got out as she walked over to the platinum blonde and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Is something wrong?" She then asked in concern.

At the sudden touch and called made Ino jump at the contact. "Eh!?" She got out in startlement. "Oh! Ah. . .yeah! I'm ok, just got lost in my mind is all." She then explained as she tried to dismiss the subject before it even began.

Satsuki meanwhile narrowed her eyes to this, as the girl could easily saw that Ino was hiding something, but didn't say anything about it. "I'll ask her after our match." She then decided in her mind.

The Uchiha didn't know it at the time, but she would had later regret not asking what was wrong when she had the chance. . .

Elsewhere, within the darkness. . .

SPLASH! SHINK! CRASH!

The sounds of water, rocks and slashes could be heard echo in the darkness as three figures fought in a two on one fight.

"Place more precision into your attacks." A monotone voice ordered as he easily dodge yet another attack.

SPLASH!

"Your jutsus are indeed stronger, but you lack the patience and control to use them to their fullest." The second explained as he kicked the third one hard enough to hit the walls of the cave.

The last, more female figure then slowly began to stand up again. ". . .Yes sir. . ." She responded in the same monotone matter. "I must continue getting stronger. . ." She soon stated as she raised her hand and slammed it to the ground.

SMASH!

The sounds of stone and earth was soon heard as it shook the ground violently. "Do not be reckless, you are a shinobi, you must be one with the shadows you need to be quick and need to be completely silent." The first then ordered.

No sooner the figure said so, he disappeared and backhanded the third with precision making her fall to the ground, all the while canceling the jutsu that was being prepared.

"That jutsu may indeed have immense physical power, however it takes to long to cast, leaving you completely vulnerable to any form of counter Sakura." The second declared the flaws of the girl's new jutsu.

Groaning a bit, said girl stood up once more and used her hand to wiped the trail of blood her mouth had from the last blow. "Hai." She responded, desperately trying to hold back her anger as she then went through a multitude of hand signs. "Power. . ." She then repeated in her head.

BLUB! GURGLE!

The sounds of water began to slowly and silently gather until a low vibration humming sounds soon follow. Unlike the previous jutsu, this one was much more faster to conjure and was more or less much quieter.

"Now release it." The second ROOT member ordered.

SPLASH!

The sound of water making contact was heard the liquid sprayed across the area and hit the wall. One of the two ROOT shinobis that nearly was hit by the jutsu was not only fast enough but understood the concept of the jutsu to manage to dodge it. However he still had a massive cut on his mask and gain a scratch on his cheek that will definitely leave a scar.

Even with the success of the attack, Sakura was left wide open to the side as she was struck down once more by the other ROOT shinobi. "While this jutsu may be quicker and precise which can be used as an excellent long range assassination jutsu. It also leaves you vulnerable after casting for a few moments." The first ROOT operate declared.

The second then walked next to the first, not even phased about receiving the cut. "And that can be all the time an enemy needs to strike you down." He concluded.

Sakura once more struggle to stand as she nodded to that. "Hai." She responded. "More. . .I need more. . ." She thought in a desire filled tone.

At the moment, she thought that the Curse Mark on the back of her hand began to spread as the flame like markings began to come out of it with a red-orange glow. As this was happening Sakura's face began to change as well as madness filled her eyes.

Back in the Team Seven and Viper Squad residence. . .

Hinata and Fū were doing some light stretches of their limbs, getting ready for their spar.

Fū then looked at her beetle Bijū. "Remember Chōmei, no helping out" She reminded via mental link.

"Yeah, yeah!" Chōmei replied as he placed his hands behind his head, then his eyes widen as an idea came to mind. "Oh! Oh! Can I be the proctor!?" He then asked with excitement.

"Uh. . .why?" Ino asked from the sidelines.

"Yeah, aren't you gonna help Fū during the fight?" Kiba then asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No way, I was just asked not too!" Chōmei revealed. "And besides! I thought it would be fun!" He then added with a large smile on his face.

This made most of the present sweatdropped, but they knew that the Bijū was only looking for a chance to entertain himself. "I'm alright with that." Hinata stated with an amused tone.

"Yeah, he may be annoying, but he's actually very fair in this sort of things." Fū agreed with a snippy tone.

To that statement, Chomei immediately fell to the ground when he hear that and began crying. "WA! Fū-chan is being mean to me again!" He cried out.

This made the already sweat dropping gain yet another sweatdrop at the sight of the crying Bijū. "JUST GET ON WITH IT!" Fū soon shouted in annoyance.

In that instant, Chōmei jumped upwards and did a dancing pose. "OK! Hinata-chan vs Fū-chan! Ready!?" He excitedly announce.

At this declaration, both kunoichi took their respective battle stances.

"I'm ready." Hinata revealed as her hands were coated in chakra.

"Me too!" Fū replied with a smile.

"Begin!" Chōmei finally declared loudly with excitement.

A few minutes before the match began. . .

All of the older generation and jonin sensei's had finally arrived at the huge gates that protect the new Team Seven/Viper Squad residence.

"I have to say." Kurenai began as she stare at the massive gate. "Jiraiya-sama and Hiashi-sama really out did themselves in constructing such an amazing Gate." She concluded.

The other jonins nodded in complete agreement, even if Kakashi had more experience with seals, they all as a whole knew that the seals planted on the gates and walls were incredibly complex and powerful.

"It is indeed, though this may be the second time seeing it, it's still very impressive." Haku admitted with a nod. "Hiashi-sama made sure they had the necessities so they can survive." He then added.

"Not bad, not bad at all. . ." Kurama admitted with a nod of acceptance. "Though I still hate seals. . ." He then added with much annoyance.

"As long as those three don't try anything funny when alone at night, I'll be fine." Kurenai then stated in a serious tone.

Asuma merely chuckled to that as he blew out some smoke. "Oh come on Kurenai, what's the worse that could happen?" He then asked.

Both Kurama and Anko began to chuckle and giggle at that, while making Kurenai glare at him.

"I stand corrected. . ." Asuma quickly corrected himself as he sweatdropped.

Gai merely tilted his head in an confused and oblivious manner to that. "You don't want to know. . ." Haku simply replied to the unspoken question. "Anko-san, shouldn't you open it already?" He then asked the snake mistress.

"Hmm? What do you mean Haku-kun? Does she have the key or something?" Gai asked as he didn't understood what the ice user meant by that.

"Something like that." Kakashi simply replied.

"What? How do you two know that?" Anko asked with a confused tone.

"We didn't, we just predict that you knew how. And looks like we were right." Kakashi replied with an eye smile.

Anko merely blinked to that in response to the answer she got before getting an annoyed expression on her face. "I hate being played by that. . ." She remarked with an annoyed tone.

Kurama meanwhile silently chuckled to that. "Well what did you expect from the one eyed scarecrow." He remarked with a grin.

Anko just sighed to that as she walked towards the gate. "Let just go in already. . ." She stated with annoyance as the gate's seals began to glow and then open by itself.

"Huh, an auto opening gate. Not bad." Asuma then admitted with a very impressed tone.

"Well Jiraiya-sama does know his way around seals." Kakashi then reminded.

"True, something like this would be child's play for him." Haku agreed with a nod.

With that, all of them entered the gates as its massive gate closed behind them.

"What are large field, perfect for training." Gai stated with approval.

Before anyone could say anything to that. . .

"JUST GET ON WITH IT!" The older shinobis heard a very familiar voice coming from behind the house.

"Well Chōmei is annoying Fū again. . ." Kurenai commented with deadpan tone, making everyone else chuckle in amusement.

"How about we see what our youthful students are up too shall we!?" Gai declared with his normal upbeat attitude.

WIth a united nod of everyone, they all Shushin away and arrived just in time to see both Hinata and Fū in battle stances as they looked from the roof of the building.

"Oh! It looks like our students are having a friendly spars!" Gai declared with an approval tone.

"Well, at least they're hard at work." Kakashi then admitted.

Haku nodded in agreement to that. "Yes, now we can see how much progress they've gained." He stated in a calm tone.

Kurenai meanwhile looked at the Hyuga before looking at the mint green haired girl. "Hinata. . .Fū. . ." She thought as she watched the fight.

"Begin!" They soon heard Chōmei declared and turned to see the match unfolded.

"Well it's starting now." Asuma reminded as he was actually was looking forward seeing this matches.

At this, the rest decided not to say anything else and watch the match.

Back at the present time. . .

"Bring it on!" Fū declared as quickly dashed forwards, almost as if she was gliding above the ground.

Hinata gave a short nod and also dashed forwards as received the mint green haired girl with a gentle fist thrust aiming at Fū's shoulder.

Fū saw this a mile away and changed her course to the side and dodge the thrust and then began to zigzag around Hinata trying to confused her with irradical movements.

Not being easily fooled, Hinata quickly activated her Byakugan and saw the mint green haired girl dashed at the last second to her left. Seeing the other girl getting closer and closer, she leaned backwards to narrowly dodge the strike, as she was leaning backwards she delivered a gentle kick to the girl's stomach.

Acting quickly, Fū spin around in meet air to just barely dodge the kick and used her hand to pushed herself away from the Hyuga. "Wow! That was close!" She commented with immense relief.

"Not bad decision to dodge in such a manner. I wouldn't had thought of it at the moment." Hinata complimented with a smile.

Fū simply gave a playful smirk to that. "Well that's just the way I do my thing!" She declared as she began to go through the hand signs. "Ninja Art: Sticky Thread Spikes!" She began as she then waved her arms forward, sending out multiple threads that were coated in chakra.

Hinata had only enough time to dodge the projectiles quick quickly moving left and right, however one of the threads hit her on the shoulder and gasp from the impact. Then she gentle touch the substance and saw it was very sticky. "Is this thread?" She wondered out loud.

Fū then smirked as she then nodded to the question. "Yup! This is a new of the many jutsu's I been working on since you guys left for Snow." She revealed.

"If I had to guessed, this jutsu is very effective to immobilize fast opponents." Hinata deduced her thoughts of this jutsu.

"Man! You really are the brains of your team! That's exactly why I made that jutsu!" Fū replied with amazement. "No way Naruto and Satsuki could had figure that out so soon!" She added.

"Oi!" Naruto and Satsuki shouted in annoyance as the rest began to laugh or giggle at their expense.

Hinata meanwhile remained calm as she coated her feet as she then began to move around as if she was skating. "However, can it stop nimble opponents dattebahi?" She asked with a calm and composed tone.

With that said, Hinata charge once more at Fū while looking like she was skating on the ground.

With the older generation. . .

The senseis watch with keen eyes as they observed and analysed that growth of the two young kunoichis. They were very impressed by the tremendous skill and tactical minds they had developed. And if they had doubts, if they ever had any, of their student's being ready of truly being ready to bear the title of chunins, then such thoughts completely disappeared.

Kurenai watched on as the Hyuga showed her abilities. "Hinata. . .she's really grown. . ." She thought in praised at the sight of her abilities. It always filled her with pride and sadness, but she knew that if Hinata was happy she too will be.

Then the older kunoichi turn her gaze and began analysing the newest Team Eight member to see her abilities, and if she was being honest with herself, she was impressed by what she could do and was more than happy that she would be a great addition to the team.

"Well, it also seems that Fū-chan has been adjusting well to Konoha." Kakashi suddenly stated.

Kurama then smirked at the battle going on. "As expected of jinchūrikis, one being a psuedo with direct contact with myself and the other actually being the holder of my younger brother." He stated in a calm tone. "They always makes fights more interesting." He then added.

Anko nodded in agreement to that. "I'll say, the Hyuga's doing awesome in this fight while beetle girl is really showing her stuff." She praised.

"Yes, it took a while, but she has really adjusted and can now be fully considered a true Konoha kunoichi." Kurenai stated with a proud tone as she watched on.

"She indeed has a youthful attitude." Gai soon praised with his nice guy smile. "She is indeed worthy of being a Konoha shinobi." He then added.

Haku nodded in agreement to that. "Both girls had grown in their own right, but I can still see much improvement they can make and what they can become in the future." He stated with a smile on his face.

The older generation and Haku then continued to watch and examine the abilities of the younger generation.

Back at the battle. . .

The skating Hinata slide with grace as she nimbly and elegantly dodge every sticky thread send at her way. "Insect like moves." She thought, "It makes sense with her being a Jinchūriki to an insect Bijū. " She then added in her head.

This made Fū also realized that her attacks were being read like an open book, much to her annoyance. "Alright, since direct attacks aren't working. . ." She began as she smiled widely. "Then let's go at it head on!" She declared as she charged at full speed at Hinata.

Knowing that this would happen, HInata was ready as she then began to gather her chakra to her hand. "What is she planning? She knows that Gentle Fist is dangerous at close range." She quickly thought to herself.

However Fū also knew that as each time she got one centimeter closer, she smiled widely. Then just as she was about to reached her she quickly slammed her fist on the ground smashing a good portion of the ground.

Hinata just narrowly managed to see this thanks to her Byakugan as she jumped at the last minute to cover herself with her arms to protect herself from the debris. But she still had her Byakugan activated to make sure she wasn't left vulnerable.

Then when Hinata used her Byakugan to see the mint green girl, she only to see Fū grinning widely at this, making her head receiving siren bells of danger. "Oh no!" She thought in a panic as she tried to dashed backwards.

Not letting Hinata do anything, Fū quickly charge forward as she made hand seals. "Oh no you don't!" She declared as she finished her jutsu, then she open her mouth wide as bright white powder filled it as it began to illuminate. "Hidden Jutsu: Hiding in Scale Powder Jutsu!" She got out as she shoot out the powder and making an bright light illuminate the entire area around the two.

"Kya!" Hinata shouted in pain from the intensity of the light and was forced to deactivate her Byakugan.

"Damn that's bright!" Ino exclaimed as she shielded her eyes.

"Dammit Fū! Did you have to make a new sun again!?" Kiba asked with annoyance as he and his teammate always fell victims to this jutsu, while the rest of the rookies had to cover their eyes from the intensely bright light.

"And now to win this match!" Fū declared as she once again began to make some hand seal. "Fighting a Hyuga close range is dangerous, but prolonging a fight is even more so I'll make sure you can't move anymore!" She declared as lighting began to actually gathered around her head.

"Oh crap! She's going to use that jutsu!" Kiba declared as he recognized that lighting. "Hey! Don't go killing Hinata!" He added.

"WHAT!?" Was everyone's general reaction to that information.

"Don't worry! Fū-chan's only using the low powered version! She will only paralyzed Hinata-chan!" Chōmei loudly declared to try and calmed down everyone's fears.

Although momentarily blind, Hinata could still hear what the Bijū just said. "A paralysing jutsus?" She thought to herself.

"BAKA! DON'T JUST EXPLAIN OTHER PEOPLE'S JUTSU!" Fū roared in annoyance.

"SORRY!" Chōmei replied.

"I got to end it before Hinata-chan does something with that loud mouth's info!" Fū thought in a panic, as she really didn't want to give Hinata any time to thought of a counter. The with her head still channeling lightning chakra she began to charge head first at the Hyuga. "Lighting Style! Lightning Horn!" She declared.

Even if Hinata was still blind at the moment, she could still use her slight enhance hearing to hear the electricity from the jutsu and could make a guess how much distance before Fū reached her. Then just as the girl was a few meters away, Hinata bend herself legs downwards and did a low spin kick, making Fū trip at the action.

"CRAP!" Fū shouted as she her head hit the ground and roll to a stop.

It was at that moment that the bright illuminating light ended, finally making Hinata see again as she reopen her eyes. "It was a good combo Fū-chan. Using a jutsu that can make an opponent momentarily blind, giving you enough time to charge your second jutsu, it would had been an instantly kill if the opponent was only relaying with his eyes." She stated.

Fū the got back up as she turn and glared at the Bijū proctor. "IT WOULD HAD WORK IF SOMEONE WOULD'VE STAY QUIET!" She roared in anger.

"But it was my job to tell those that didn't know not to worry!" Chōmei explained himself as he wave his arms frantically.

"It would had work, but remember I still have my ears and it made my calculate the distance of your attack." Hinata then stated, trying to help out the Bijū a bit.

"Yay! Hinata-chan is so nice to me! Why can't you be nice too Fū-chan!?" Chomei stated.

"That's because unlike me. . .she isn't with you 24/7!" Fū instantly roared her reply.

Chōmei then dropped to the ground to that statement. "WAH!" Was his reaction.

Leaving the crying Bijū alone, the two girls just retook their fighting stance.

"Now then, how about we finish this?" Fū then jokingly asked with a playful smirk.

"Hai." Hinata replied as she once again activated her Byakugan.

And with that, Fū realized that her Scaled Powered wouldn't worked a second time so she began to send out more sticky threads at the Hyuga. But now fully awared of the capabilities of Hinata using her nimble movement to easily dodge them and once she saw an opening, she charged forward aiming to disabled Fū's chakra points.

Just as the Hyuga was in her range, Fū quickly jumped upwards as high as she could and shot multiple sticky threads below at her, more specifically at Hinata's feet, making her halt her movements. "Oh no!" She got out in reaction by the surprise sticky like trap.

While still in midair, Fū was grinning widely as her plan had worked. "Gotcha!" She said in a cocky tone as she then landed and began to make the same seals once more. "One more time!" She announced as her head began to gathered lighting. "Try dodging this time!" She declared as she then charged straight at the ensnared Hyuga.

Hinata was soon struggling to get her feet out of the trap as then looked at the Nanabi's Jinchūriki heading straight at her, but instead of panicking, she took in a deep breath. "Stay calm. . ." She thought to herself as she then took another breath and gathered chakra to her hands as she began to move them at seemingly random directions.

Seeing this, Fū decided not to take anymore chances and charge even faster than before. "Lightning Style! Lightning Horn!" She declared as she charged at the Hyuga while a beetle horn made of complete lightning was created.

Hinata continued move her hands randomly with a calmed expression on her face. Then she began to move them faster and faster until lines of chakra was visible with each time she moved her hands. "Protective Eight Trigrams! Sixty Four palms!" Hinata declared as she now was encased within a spherical streams of chakra, however unlike her normal one this one didn't had the cutting edge it would normally had, so that Fū wouldn't be accidentally dismembered.

As Fū clashed head first at the stream like sphere, lighting began to fly everywhere. Fū's lighting protected her from the cutting power of the sphere as she tried to push forward. All the while Hinata continued to make more streams of chakra.

However what both didn't know at the time, was that Fū was losing her lighting as her chakra points were being blocked off, while Hinata's body was being struck by the lighting.

Soon with one more burst of chakra, both kunoichi's were sent flying backwards.

"KYA!" Both Hinata and Fū got out as they slid across the ground in the opposite direction.

Seeing this, Chōmei ran to see how both girls were and saw that both couldn't move anyone. "Looks like Fū can't move because her chakra points are blocked and Hinata-chan also can't move because she's paralyzed, so. . .both girls are unable to battle! It's a draw!" He shouted as loud as possible.

Meanwhile on the sidelines. . .

All of the rookies that watched the fight was completely silent at the pure display of gracefulness, planning and power, even it wasn't at full, that was shown from both girls. Then as the match ended. . .

"Whoa. . ." Naruto got out.

Satsuki blinked a couple time as the fight ended in a draw. "You got that right Naru-kun. . ." She agreed with a nod.

"Holy crap that was intense!" Kiba shouted with a shocking tone.

Shino nodded in agreement to that. "Indeed." He agreed.

"Hate to see what would had been if they went all out!" Tenten commented as she wasn't sure how well she would do against her year younger juniors. "I don't think even with all of my arsenal would had been enough to help me." She added without feeling hurt or down by that fact. "Better make more weapons that can help me out in those occasions." She then added in her mind.

Neji watched his fellow Hyuga as she struggled to her feet. "Hinata-sama has grown stronger. . ." He thought as a small smile appeared in his face.

"UWOOOOOOAH! SUCH A HOT BLOODED AND YOUTHFUL BATTLE! THIS WAS MAGNIFICENT!" Lee declared with excitement and a fire burning brightly behind him.

"Yes, these two are really strong, even when their holding back." Kin agreed as she praised her friends skill and power.

"Damn, I knew Fū was strong and all, but Hinata is just as strong!" Ino stated with a very impressed tone. "I wonder if I can be just as strong as them. . ." She thought to herself.

Shikamaru just sigh to that. "Really glad I didn't had to pair off with a troublesome girl. . ." He lazily commented.

"Whoa. . ." Chōji got out as he momentarily stopped eating, only to just as quickly continue eating.

With the older generation and Haku. . .

"WHAT AN AMAZING AND YOUTHFUL MATCH! THE GIRLS HAD MADE THEIR FLAMES OF YOUTH BRIGHTEN EVEN MORE THAN BEFORE!" Gai shouted with excitement and praise.

Kakashi and Haku meanwhile sweatdrop at the antics of the jumpsuit wearing shinobi. "Well, they are growing." Kakashi then got out.

"Indeed, Hinata's chakra control as grown even more, that jutsu was so strong and difficult to do that it was difficult for her to do without giving it more chakra. Now however I saw that the jutsu had the bare minimal so to not harmed Fu-san and still blocked her chakra points." Haku analysed the Hyuga's progress. "While Fū-san's jutsus are very useful as their are deadly. If she can fully masters it, she can be a force to be recon with." He then analyzed the beetle Jinchūriki's abilities.

Anko meanwhile smirked at the result of the fight. "Not bad. Both girls got guts, I knew Lavender Eyes had them, but didn't know that the Minty Beetle had them, I'm liking her now." She complemented.

"Minty. . .Beetle? Really Anko?" Kurenai questioned with a deadpan tone.

"Ah come on, that's a clever one! I had mint head and beetle girl in mind, but I just combined them!" Anko stated with a proud tone.

"Nice one!" Kurama declared, liking the idea for the nickname.

"Anyways. . ." Kurenai got out as she ignored her friend's and Bijū's obsession with nicknames. "I have to agree with Haku's assessment, the two have really proven that they have gotten stronger this past month." She admitted as she watched the two girls recover.

Asuma nodded in agreement to this. "Well, at least they will make things more interesting." He then got out.

With this, they decided to watch the next match.

Back at the training ground. . .

As both Hinata and Fū were going to where the other rookies were, they were slightly woozy from the fight as they struggled to stand.

Then they saw both Naruto and Yami heading their way as it was their turn next. "Great job Hinata-chan, Fū!" Naruto greeted the two with a wide grin on his face.

Yami meanwhile nodded in agreement to this. "Yes, that was an excellent fight you two displayed." She complemented.

"Thank you, but we may have overdone it a bit." Hinata commented in an exhausted matter and in embarrassment.

"I'll say. . ." The tired Fū agreed with a small giggle.

Naruto only chuckled in response to that. "Well it's our turn next." He stated as he gave a quick kiss on the lips of the female Hyuga, making her giggle.

Fū then turn and started at Yami intensely. "What?" The silver/blue haired girl asked with confusion.

"And where's my kiss?" Fū soon jokingly asked as she tried to hold back a giggle.

"WHAT!?" Yami shouted in shock and embarrassment.

Fū immediately laughed at the reaction given. "Just kidding! I just couldn't resist doing that!" She replied as she headed back to the rest.

However Yami only groaned with embarrassment as she heard Naruto chuckling too.

Back with the other rookies. . .

Once the girls had reached the others, it was Satsuki that was first to greet them. "Way to kick ass Nata-chan, that was an awesome match!" She praised.

"Got that right!" Ino agreed with a smile. "Way to show them that girls are tough!" She then added.

Fu then rubbed the back of her head from the other girls praise. "Ah it really wasn't much." She got out with a grin on her face.

Hinata nodded in agreement to this. "Yes, we were actually holding ourselves back thanks to the fact that it was a sparring match." She then reminded.

"Again. . .hate to see how it would had been if it was serious." Tenten remarked yet again.

And the rest of them couldn't help but agree with that, after all be it Jinchūriki or pseudo-Jinchūriki, you can't take these people lightly or you would get killed and if your like only be hospitalized for weeks.

Soon, both Hinata and Fū sat down among their fellow rookies as they prepared to watch the next fight.

At the training field. . .

The beetle Bijū then did some somersaults and landed on his hands before he leaped backwards and gave a pose. "Alright! Next up is Naruto-niichan and Yami-chan!" Chōmei soon declared the next match up.

To that, Yami pulled out her blade and Naruto took his taijutsu stance. "Wait. I'd like to request if we can have a duel with our blades." She politely requested.

Naruto in turn linked to the request given. "Oh! You want a kenjutsu fight?" He then asked. Then when he saw the girl nod, he pulled out his seal blade scroll. "Ok. but like I said, I'm no expert but It's going to be cool to have an all kenjutsu fight." He stated as he then unsealed his Executioner's Blade.

Yami happily nodded to this as both Kenjutsu user got into position as they readied themselves. "Of course sensei, I completely understand." She replied.

Chōmei then did a simple backflip and raised his fist up. "Alright! Second match! Naruto vs Yami! BEGIN!" He declared loudly.

In the instant both sword users lightly bend down and look intensely at one another. However it was at the sight of a leaf blowing past them that both charge at each other with impressive speeds.

CLANK!

The sound of two blades clashing echoed at the impact. As the two looked at each other for only a moment before they separated as Naruto extended his blade to the side while Yami crouched down.

What felt like an eternity, both then then ready themselves. And then Naruto swung his massive blade using all of its weight to add extra force. Yami used her impressive speed to moved out of the way, so fast that one would had thought she had used the Shunshin, to appeared behind the blond.

Naruto then quickly used the momentum of the sword to placed it behind him and shield himself from the slash that Yami sent. This made Naruto grin playfully to show that he was ready for this attack.

Seeing that her attacked failed, Yami quickly dashed backwards as far as she could. Know that though she was faster than Naruto, she knew that his reactions time was far superior than her own, making surprise attacks meaningless.

"I knew Naruto-sensei was strong. . ." Yami couldn't help but admire in her head. "However. . ." She soon began as she made a seal as her hands began to distort. "Let's try this." She concluded as she lean downwards and charge once more.

Naruto took a deep breath as he saw Yami getting close. He tightened his hold on his blade and as well as his muscle, both naturally and with chakra to what he was about to do.

As Yami was just a few meters away he saw something that she wasn't expecting. "What?" She thought with confusion.

What she saw was Naruto grinning widely as he closed his eyes. Not having time to think of what her fellow sword user was up to. Yami only griped her beloved blade as she swag it vertically.

At that instant, Naruto's ears jerked a little as his grin widened even more as he placed his blade vertically.

CLANK!

The horizontal striked was halted by the huge one. "Nani!?" Yami got out in confusion as her blade was stopped.

Naruto merely chuckled as he expected the reaction. "Hehe, here's a tip Yami-chan, my title is known as Konoha's Most Unpredictable Shinobi!" He declared in a proud tone. "That cool jutsu of yours ain't gonna work on me!" He added.

This made Yami to let out a groan, now knowing that her jutsu wouldn't work on him.

Then Naruto used more strength to pushed back Yami sending her slidely across the ground.

On the sidelines. . .

"He just used the same thing Hinata-chan just did to me!" Fū ranted with a pout.

Hinata giggled at the rant. "True, but against someone who is clearly faster than both you and me, I hardly doubt I would be able to do the same if I were to fight Yami-chan." She countered.

The Hyuga knew full well that when it comes to reaction time, Naruto and Satsuki had her beat. However she also knew that of the two, Naruto was the best because of his natural reflexes given by his statues of a Jinchūriki opposed to Satsuki having need of her Sharingan to predict enemy movements.

Chōji meanwhile kept munching on his chips as he watched the fight. "So, how come they aren't really using their jutsu?" He then asked.

"It's a swordsman's thing." Tenten answered with a smile as she herself was a weapons user so she knew the feeling full well.

"A duel between sword users." Shikamaru then corrected while rubbing the back of his head. "Troublesome. . ." He soon grumbled out in annoyance.

Back at the battle. . .

Yami finally stopped sliding as she quickly readjusted herself, just in time to see the blond above her.

Knowing that if she placed her blocked the blond's blade would result in her sword being shattered, she quickly adjusting it so instead of blocking, it would lean to one side.

SMASH!

The sound of the blond's heavy blade crashed on the ground gave Yami enough time to once again make some distance from one another. "I have to end this. . ." She thought to herself while wiping the sweat off her forehead. "I still have to adjust myself to this type of environment. . ." She then added in her mind.

Naruto meanwhile narrowed his eyes as he looked at his sparring partner. "Time to finish this." He decided in his head.

As if understanding what the other was thinking, both sword users took their stance once more. Yami focused a lot of chakra in her legs while Naruto did the same to his muscles and senses.

Yami was the first to charged at the blond with even more velocity than before as she looked like she was gliding across the ground while her leg looked like they had disappeared.

Knowing that he wasn't a match for the girl's speed, Naruto made sure that his muscles and senses could keep up and use his reaction time to to strike.

In a matter of milliseconds both of them were less than a meter apart as their eyes were completely focus and unleashed their strike.

The sudden motion of their blade made a large amount of dust to be picked up by the force of their swings.

Everyone else soon waited patiently for the smoke to clear, however they didn't had wait long however.

The dust finally cleared and everyone saw both of the sword users we're in a complete standstill as they couldn't move a single muscle. The reason was because Naruto had the hole like pattern on his blade right on Yami's neck. While the silver/blue haired girl was pointing the tip of her blade right were Naruto's heart was located.

Naruto chuckled at this while grinning widely. "So. . .a draw?" He simply asked.

Yami instantly nodded in agreement. "Hai, a draw will be the best idea." She replied.

With that, Chōmei did a large somersault. "Then it's a DRAW!" He shouted loudly.

---

On the sidelines with the rookies. . .

Kiba then whistled at the sight. "Damn, this new girl's pretty good!" He admitted as he was really impressed and slightly smitten by the girl's abilities.

"You got absolutely no chance Kiba." Ino then deadpan, already figuring out what he was thinking.

"Hey!" Kiba then shouted back in annoyance.

"Though I do admit that Yami-san is really good with the blade." Ino commented while completely ignoring the Inuzuka, much to his annoyance.

"Indeed, to keep up with Naruto is an amazing is feat by itself." Shino stated with an impressed tone.

Satsuki nodded in agreement to that. "Yeah, Haku-sensei did say she was a tough fight for him." She then reminded with Hinata nodding in agreement.

"Yeah," Tenten got out with a nod. "And that blade is exquisite." She then added as she couldn't help but admire the girls blade, she knew just by seeing it that it was made by the purest of chakra metal and only an master class weaponsmith could ever hope to make. "Hope I can make something like that in the future when my skills improve." She thought with admiration.

Meanwhile, the fire behind Lee then brighten itself in excitement. "YES! ANOTHER EXCELLENT BETWEEN COMRADES! MAGNIFICENT!" He declared with even more passion.

"Are you going to keep doing this with every match?" Shikamaru grumbled in annoyance.

"Yes he will. . ."Tenten soon grumbled out the answer, making the former Sound kunoichi giggle as she was already used to the boy's antics.

"It's Lee-kun's best trait." Kin then admitted.

Neji meanwhile sighed at the interactions.

With the older shinobos and Haku. . .

"Hmm, not at mine or Lee's speed, but Yami-san has very impressive speed." Gai stated.

"Yes, she is, however she was even faster during our fights in the Land of Snow. However this is most likely from the fact that she is in a new environment." Haku stated as he then rub his back where Yami had cut him. "And I can personally testify to that. . ." He added.

Anko meanwhile was drooling at the sight of her first Viper Squad member. "I really hit the jackpot with her. . ." She got out with stars in her eyes.

"More like my team hit the jackpot for finding her." Kakashi corrected with an eye smile, causing the purple haired jonin to glare at him.

Kurama however chuckled at this. "He got you there Anko-chan." He stated with a grin on his face.

Anko then looked at her boyfriend with false shock. "You're supposed to be on my side!" She exclaimed.

"Be mature about this Anko." Kurenai then chided as she then looked back as the two sword users started walking back towards the other rookies. "Though her skills with genjutsu are very impressive to use it along with her kenjutsu." She then added.

"I'm more surprised by the fact that she could combine them both at the same time, hate to fight her when she master the way of the blade." Asuma commented with a chuckle. "And let's not forget about the old class knucklehead." He then joked as he looked at the blond.

"Indeed! Young Naruto-kun's reaction time and his way of using blade in conjuction was very impressive as well!" Gai declared with admiration of the young boys creativity.

"And he's going to keep improving." Kurenai then reminded in a calm tone as she watched both Hinata and Satsuki kiss him on the cheek. This made her narrow her eyes like an overprotective parent.

"At least he's a ladies man." Anko then joked before she then stopped when he felt a deadly glare coming from the genjutsu mistress. "And I'll be shutting up now. . ." He quickly declared.

Kurama meanwhile smirked in satisfaction to this display. "Expected from my Jinchūriki, but still room for improvement." He stated as he then slightly narrowed his eyes as his eyes had a hidden intensity. "He'll need it for what's to come. . ." He added in his mind with deadly seriousness as he then looked at the silver haired jonin.

Kakashi meanwhile could more or less guess what the Bijū was thinking as he nodded when he saw the disguised Bijū looking at him. "The Akatsuki. . ." He thought to himself as he turn to the rest of the jonin. "Well looks like they're going to take a small break." He then stated.

"An intervention." Kurama stated in a calm tone.

Haku nodded in agreement to this. "Yes." He agreed.

---

Within the darkness. . .

Sakura was now laying on the ground panting heavily, her body was covered multiple cuts and bruises while her head was was dripping few streams of blood.

"Ignore the injuries." One of the ROOT members ordered in a emotionless tone. "You must increase your endurance to gain more power." He then stated in a monotone voice.

"Forget it. . .while she is talented, if she can't improve more than this, it's probably best if Danzō-sama just dispose of this weakling." The second ROOT declared with and equally monotone voice.

To hearing this decision, Sakura's eyes widen at the thought of that. The mere word weakling was all that it took to filled fury and hatred in the girl's soul. "Don't. . ." She began as she forced herself to stand.

Then the Curse Mark began to react by the sudden fury and hatred the girl was filled with. As it slowly began to sprout flame like patterns, but only this time it was now spreading all across her entire body, while the seal that was around the Curse Mark was shining brightly and desperately as if trying to stop what was happening.

Now being infused with new power and strength, Sakura began to stand as her face was now one of pure hatred and madness. "Bullshit me. . ." The girl struggled out as her eyes then began to glow a sickish yellow-green. "No one. . .and I mean no one will talk down to me again!" She then declared.

Then a massive burst of sinister pressure exploded out of Sakura's body, making the two ROOT members using their arms to block it while being pushed back.

"Has she finally unleashed the full power of the first stage?" One of the ROOT agent then question at the sight of the girl.

"I. . .I. . ." Sakura got out as rock, stone and water began to be drawn to her as it began to encase her as a low vibrating sound echoed violently. ". . .will surpass humanity and demons!" She then roared out as the stone and water gathered around her hands and became five prong claws.

The before the ROOT members could even processed what had happened, the ground below Sakura cracked violently as she then dashed forward, leaving a massive crater in her wake.

This made both of them to fully returned to their normal emotionless selves as they narrowly dodge the attack. Just in time to for the earth below them was shattered and obliterated by the impact. All the while they could see Sakura's yellow-green like eyes filled with rage and insanity.

Then the humming that could be heard previously grew louder as it vibrated, Sakura made a swing with her clawed hand as if she was throwing a shuriken.

SLASH! RIP!

The sound of clothes and flesh being shredded quickly followed. Both ROOT agents uniforms and flesh were cut, but they were fast enough to avoid any life dangering wounds. And being a ROOT agent, that was all they need to keep fighting to the death.

Not even letting the two of them get the time to plan anything, the enrage and powered up kunoichi charged once more. "KILL! KILL! KILL!" Sakura ordered in an insane matter.

Both of the agents this time took out their weapons out, ready to kill if necessary as it was program in their very beings. Just as Sakura was a meter away. . .

SHING!

The seals around the Curse Mark shiny brightly and intensely making Sakura crashed on the to ground. "AH!" She screamed in agony as the curse like flames surrounding her body was forcely being pushed back into the Curse Mark.

The two ROOT agents watch this happening with emotionless and uncaring eyes. "It appeared that Kakashi Hatake's seal forced the activation of the Curse Mark's stage one's full power." The first ROOT agent analysed what was happening to the girl, not once concern for the agonizing screams she was giving.

The second ROOT agent simply nodded in agreement. "Indeed, with it she won't be able to use the standard power of the Curse Mark. She would need the second stage if she ever hopes to get rid of those seals." He deducted.

It was at that moment that all of the curse like flames had returned to its origin on the back of her hand finally made Sakura stopped screaming as she laid on the ground unconscious.

"The power she displayed however. . ." The first ROOT member stated as he looked at the downed girl.

The second ROOT member nodded in response. "Yes, there is indeed more than meets the eyes with this one." He then finalized.

With those final thoughts, both ROOT picked Sakura up and when to place her in her room. When that was done, they would later leave to report to their leader. Not knowing that by the time they reached him, he had already sent someone to obtain for her.

Back at the Team Seven and Viper Squad residence. . .

The group was taking a few minutes rest so that the ones that participated already could catch their breath while the rest could relax before they had their matches.

Then female Uchiha suddenly felt a shiver running down her spine as she looked towards the blue sky. "What. . .was that dattebakon?" She thought to herself, blocking out anyone else from hearing. Satsuki was too busy thinking about this that she missed that another one of their group had also felt it as well.

"Alright!" Chōmei's loud voice called out, interrupted the Uchiha's thought process. "That's enough resting! Let got with the next match! Satsuki-chan! Ino-chan! You up!" He then declared excitedly.

Ino blinked to this as she then looked at the Uchiha. "Well, I guess we're up now Satsuki." She stated with a smile on her face.

Satsuki soon shook off her previous thoughts as she returned the smile to the Yamanaka. "Got that right Ino-chan." She replied.

Then both girls stood up and headed towards the training area.

"Just so you know Ino-chan, I won't hold back dattebakon." Satsuki warned as she got into her taijutsu stance.

Ino nodded in agreement to as she also prepared herself. "Right back at you." She replied with a smirk on her face.

Seeing that both girls were ready, Chōmei spun in placed and raised his fist. "Alright! Satsuki-chan vs Ino-chan! BEGIN!" He loudly declared.

Satsuki didn't even waste any time as she charged straight at the Yamanaka heiress as she went and gave a roundhouse kick at her head.

Seeing this action, Ino quickly readjusted her feet to gracefully dodge to the left. "Not gonna get me like that." She got out.

The Uchiha quickly posed her flying kicked back to the ground and lifted her other kick, but like last time the Yamanaka did the same to yet again gracefully dodge to the right.

Ino soon backpedaled quickly as she then charged and gave a downwards hand slash.

Satsuki manage to block it with her hand, but this was what Ino wanted as she then used the other hand do make an upper hand slashed. Satsuki's eyes widen by this as she back stepped to dodge the surprise attack. "Damn!" She thought in a panic

Not letting this chance pass her, Ino a kick that made her make a vertical circle. "Gotcha!" She thought in excitement.

Satsuki knew that she couldn't dodge this kick so she used her arms to blocked and use it to be push herself back.

Now that this didn't worked, she landed back on her feet, then she went and delivered a quick barrage of kicks that was aimed at the Uchiha's chest or head. All Satsuki could do was dodge the kicks she could and block the ones that she couldn't. "Not bad Ino-chan, not bad at all. . ." She thought in a praise filled tone.

With quick crazed, she did another vertical kick to make the Uchiha jump slightly. "Gotta keep going. . ." Ino thought in determination. This made Ino grin as the Uchiha left herself momentarily exposed.

Ino then crouch down and slide her feet forwards to then pushed her feet upwards to give a horse like kick, hitting Satsuki square in the stomach. "Got you!" She declared.

Satsuki's cheeks puffed up slightly in reaction to that as she then let out a gasp of air and then rolled onto the ground. "Ow! That frickin' hurt dattebakon!" She yelled in her head.

Ino then giggled as she smiled playfully. "Hehe, I told you wasn't gonna go easy." She stated as she placed her hand on her hip. "Didn't you say the same thing Satsuki?" She then asked in a taunting tone.

Instead of getting angry, Satsuki giggled at this. "Yup! I really did Ino-chan, I gotta say though, you've gotten way better since the Chunin Exams." She admitted as she stood back up and dusted herself off the dirt she got on her. "You finally broke free from the fangirl part of ya?" She then jokingly asked with a playful grin of her own.

To that question, Ino gained a tick mark in response. "I grew past that after the Danzō takeover bullshit that happened!" She declared in an offended tone. "Not to mention Haku-sensei's training was hell. . ." She then added as she could still feel her body screaming in agony.

The Uchiha only giggled once more to that. "So Hinata-chan says and I take her word when she says something it means it's true." Satsuki replied with sympathy for the two. Then she took a deep breath to calmed down. "Alright. . ." She began as she closed her eyes. "Now. . .I'm going to get serious dattebakon! She declared as she open her eyes revealing her Sharingan.

Ino meanwhile gulped at the sight of the eyes. "Oh boy. . ." She got out.

Satsuki one gain charge, but this time it was twice as fast as before, shocking the Yamanaka greatly as she couldn't saw her already in her range.

In a moment of pure instincts, Ino jumped backwards just in time to dodge a spinning kick that was aimed at her head. "Yipe!" She got out and then saw that Satsuki had actually manage to cut a few of her hair.

"Whoops, my bad Ino-chan." Satsuki quickly apologized. "But like I said. . .I'm not holding back. . ." She then declared with seriousness as she then disappeared and reappeared once again in front of Ino and delivered a fast barrage of punches that the Yamanaka couldn't dodge or block.

Ino quickly took out a kunai to try and cut Satsuki, however thanks to her Sharingan, she saw this and backpedaled. Ino knew this was going to happen as it was what she was after, getting a few seconds to actually breath and hopeful think of what she could do or try for that matter as she felt blood running down her face.

"Ok! Serious Satsuki is a scary girl to mess with!" Ino thought in a panic while gulping down some saliva as she knew she had a busted lip.

"What? Already lost your will to fight?" Satsuki soon asked while looking straight at opponent's eyes. "Show me what you really got!" She then ordered loudly.

This instantly got Ino's full confidence back, she wiped the blood from her mouth, she refused to give up or surrender without a fight. "Oh yeah I will!" She soon replied as she charged as fast as she could and went to give quick kicks and hand slashes.

However it was all for not, thanks to Satsuki's Sharingan she easily saw all the attacks coming and dodge them without difficulty. Once the Uchiha had dodged one of Yamanaka's kicks, she span in place and back handed Ino's bruised cheek to stun her.

Then using this, Satsuki did a low spinning kick to hit Ino's legs, making her spin like a cartwheel in mid air as she followed with a jumped spin kick, sending Ino flying backwards and then roll on the ground.

Ino immediately shook her head to quickly get rid of her dizziness and stood back up and once again charge. However, it was obvious that she was getting tired by how slow her kicks were compared to how they were before.

"Well, what's next Ino-chan?" Satsuki then questioned as she got into a bouncy stance. "She's really gotten better, Haku really did help her out." She thought in satisfaction. "But she still got a long way to go." She then added.

Ino meanwhile was panting heavily from exhaustion of the fight. "Not. . .done. . .yet. . ." She panted out, but she knew that she was on her last legs. Then in one last ditch effort, she cocked back her right hand and balled it into a fist, ready to used all of her remaining strength in one last attack. "Gotta. . .give it. . .my all. . ." She told herself in determination.

Satsuki meanwhile smiled as she watched her opponent giving it everything she had. "Yeah. . .it's time to finish this. . ." She decided in satisfaction as she waited for the Yamanaka to reached her.

Ino's last ditch effort with all her might she swung her fist to hit Satsuki's face, but only for her to dodge her. "Damn. . ." She soon swore out with wide eyes and in an exhausted tone. Not having anymore strength, Ino could only let gravity to pushed her to the ground.

But before the Yamanaka could hit the ground. . .

THUD!

Ino felt an arm catching her from hitting the unforgiving floor. She weakly looked up and saw that it was Satsuki, now without her Sharingan active, as she smiled at her. "Jeez Ino-chan, never knew ya had it in ya." She told her with proud tone.

While being held, Ino merely giggled lightly in response. "Jeez, even now you joke. . .you really did let Naruto influence you huh?" She asked, though already expected the answer.

Satsuki's smile didn't leave her face as she helped the platinum blonde to her feet. "You say that like it's a bad thing." She retorted.

Ino just barely could stand straight now as she let out a sigh, knowing that this match was over. "I give up. . ." She then got out, but she didn't sound disappointed. As she was feeling proud of herself.

Chōmei merely nodded to that as he raised a hand. "Since Ino-chan surrendered! Satsuki-chan WINS!" He declared.

Ino meanwhile pouted slightly as she felt a little dizzy. "It still sucks I lost though. . ." She admitted in a mutter.

Satsuki then began to help Ino walk back to the other rookies. "How about this, after all of this is over, we go shopping together, just the two of us Ino-chan." She then offered in a calm tone.

This instantly cause the Yamanaka to smile cheerfully. "Yeah! We need a another clothes shopping trip!" She commented.

"On second thought let's not. . ." Satsuki quickly declined.

"Too late!" Ino declared with stars in her eyes.

"Crap. . ." Satsuki thought in despair before her eyes widen and smiled evilly. "Only if you invite all the girls!" She declared as she planned to not be the only one to suffered.

"Nope, just you and me Satsuki!" Ino stubbornly responded with gleaming eyes.

"SHIT!" Satsuki cursed in her head as her plan failed and already knowing how all of this was going to end. "She's gonna dress me up like a doll now dattebakon!" She panicked in her head.

With the older group. . .

"SUCH A PASSION FILLED AND YOUTHFUL FRIENDSHIP! SATSUKI-SAN HAD DEMONSTRATED SUCH COMRADERY TOWARD HER FELLOW KUNOICHI" Gai shouted as he began to crying, finding the interaction of the kunoichis very moving.

Kurama on the other hand. "BWAHAHAHA!" He laughed out loud as he heard the girls little shopping plans. "She really screwed up this time around!" He declared.

"Little Imouto-chan may had won the fight! But she lost the war!" Anko declared as she too was laughing loudly at the Uchiha's despair of the horrors of girl shopping.

Kakashi merely chuckled awkwardly at the girls that just fought. "Well, they both put up a decent fight." He got out, trying to change the subject of the Uchiha's screw up.

"Indeed, not to underestimate Ino-san, but Satsuki was much stronger." Haku began as she then turn to the Yamanaka. "She however did very well against her with her current skills, this makes me believe that she will grow even stronger now." He then added.

Kurenai soon nodded in agreement to this. "Yes, well they are still young, they are able to grow even further into stronger kunoichis." She stated in a sage like matter.

Asuma merely chuckled to that. "No need to tell me that. I know that Ino has a great future now that she's serious about her future as a kunoichi." He stated with pride in his voice.

"Though she still has her thing with fashion." Anko quickly quipped out with a teasing smirk.

Said girl's sensei only shrug in response. "Can't be win at everything." Asuma simply stated in a lazy tone.

At this statement, it made the others chuckle or look at him with a deadpan expression.

Back with the rookies. . .

Naruto smiled as he looked at the two coming towards them. "Awesome work Satsuki-chan, Ino-chan." He praised.

Hinata nodded in agreement as she looked at the two arriving. "Yes, the two of you really gave it your all." She said in a kind tone.

Satsuki meanwhile giggled at the praise she got. "Thanks guys, I really appreciate it." She replied happily.

Ino also giggled at the praise given. "Well I still lost, but I did do my hardest, so thanks." She responded.

Chōji burped slightly as he looked at his teammate. "Nice work Ino, you really did your best. And you shown that your much stronger than before." He complemented with a chubby smile on his face.

Shikamaru meanwhile sighed as he looked at the two. "It's troublesome, but not bad you two." He simply stated in a lazy tone.

"Now I better see you two give a good show. . ." Ino stated as she then glared at the two. "Or I'll personally asked Haku-sensei to give you his brutal regimen he told use before. . ." She then threaten.

It didn't took even an instant for Chōji to dropped his chips as his face paled while Shikamaru groaned in annoyance.

Shino soon adjusted his glasses as he looked at everyone else. "I believe it is time for the next match." He stated in a calm tone. "This time it is myself against Kiba." He then reminded.

Said Inuzuka smirked as he looked at his teammate. "Yahoo! Alright! It's time to fight!" He cheered in excitement, however on the inside Kiba was completely scared out of his mind because Shino was the last person he would like to fight. "Ah crap! I'm gonna have fleas for weeks! And that's if I'm lucky." He thought in a panic.

When Kiba saw Shino walked towards the training field, he finally got his mind on the matter in hand. With a deep breath, he then followed his teammate.

At the training field. . .

Both of the teammates were staring at each other as they were getting themselves mentally ready.

Shino was simply standing still as his eyes were staring at his a slightly jumpy teammate. "I know you actually fear me." He bluntly stated.

In an instant, Kiba's eyes widen as he nearly fell in a comedic fashion, then looked at his teammate and opponent. "W-What the hell are you talking about!?" He exclaimed.

"Your shivering and not even trying to look at me." Shino bluntly answered.

Kiba face faulted at this as he didn't even notice those things while Akamaru whined a little as the little puppy had a sadden expression on his face.

Shino however wasn't done yet with his explanation. "You've been this way ever since we were teamed up together, even when we had to deal with Sakura's antic." He then added.

Kiba then growled at the declaration. "S-Shut up!" He retorted in annoyance. "I'm no coward!" He declared.

"No, your not. . ." Shino quickly replied.

This got Kiba's attention as he looked at the Aburame. "Eh?" He got out in confusion.

"What I mean by this, is that you are many things. A arrogant, headstrong, over confident, slightly perverted, bad scented, skirt chaser. . ." He began listing off the Inuzuka's personality traits.

To the list of insults, Kiba began to get madder and madder with each thing being called by his very colorful description of him. "GET TO THE DAMN POINT!" He roared in a fury.

"However a coward your not." Shino concluded.

Kiba's eyes widen to that conclusion as his anger calmed down.

"You may have all this personality traits, but your loyalty to your friends, comrades and family it may be greater than mine. This compels you to always fight head first to be the bearer of all the danger. Though that may be foolish and very un-shinobi thing for most, it still gives the rest of us to have the time needed to plan or have a better time to prepare." Shino soon explained without a hint of exaggeration in his tone.

Kiba then smirked as he got into his fighting stance. "Alright then, that's more like." He stated. "This is coming from the slightly emotionless guy that has the thing for bug." He then quipped back.

"The reason for that is because I had the misfortune to be with you for such a long time that I was forced to analyse yours and our. . .female teammates much flaws." Shino declared without missing a beat nor feeling insulted as he was used to such thoughts of him.

Kiba face fault to that as he then just chuckled to that explanation. "Same old Shino." He then remarked in a joking tone.

Chōmei was chuckling at this too, but he knew that he had to start the fight. "Ok! Kiba vs Shino! You two ready!?" He asked loudly.

"Yes." Shino answered as he prepared himself.

Kiba nodded to this as all fear and doubt had clear from his mind. "All set!' He responded while Akamaru got himself ready and barked in agreement.

Chōmei then smirked as he looked at the two before doing a chopping motion with his hand. "BEGIN!" He declared as he then stepped back.

Kiba didn't even waited as he was on all fours while Akamaru took his position next to him. Shino had his hand on his coat pocket as his eyes were formerly on Kiba's entire body.

"Let go Akamaru!" Kiba shouted as he charged like a wild beast with Akamaru right behind him.

As the Inuzuka was about to reached Shino, he made a hard left and Akamaru had used his tunneling fang straight at the boy's head. Shino sent a mass of insects to both block and covered himself with his insects.

When the puppy had reached the mass of insects, they separated in half as he passed right through it while Shino was not inside it.

Kiba saw this coming as he too used his tunneling fang to attack the mass of the right.

Akamaru stopped spinning to tap the ground and made a full rotated and using his technique once more to the left.

"Got you now!" Kiba shouted as he thought he got both of Shino's possible escape routes.

However when both Inuzuka and puppy attacked their half, both spreaded and there was nothing there. The two landed back on the ground as they stopped spinning. "Where he go!?" Kiba shouted as he was sure that Shino's scent was still on the mass of insects.

CLANK!

The answer was answered when he heard a wooden log fell to the ground.

"Substitution!" Kiba declared as he quickly tried to locate his teammate. His eyes widen when he smelled a large amount of insects from his right. "Shit!" He cursed as he and his ninken jumped out of the way just in time to dodge a larger mass of insect from swallowing them.

As the Inuzuka was sliding on the ground Shino appeared right behind him. "Good reaction time. . ." He told his teammates as he send a kicked to his stomach and send him flying back at the insects cloud. "However you still need to plan your attacks and dodges, not just react.

"SHIT!" Kiba shouted as he curled into a ball while he headed straight at the mass.

"Arf!" Akamaru barked loudly as he jumped straight in his partners bath with his tunneling fang, making a hole on the insects formation so that Kiba could passed safely.

The Inuzuka then readjusted himself to land on his feet as he wiped the cold sweat at the near lost he would had gotten had not been for his partner. "Thanks Akamaru! You saved my ass!" He thanked his ninken.

"Arf!" The puppy replied while he panted and wag his tail happily.

Shino then took out his hands out of his pockets as insects were surrounding them. "That would had indeed been your loss had Akamaru haven't done so." He stated.

"He's my partner and best friend, what would you expected?" Kiba then joked as Akamaru barked in agreement.

"And that only means that he is carrying the most weight because of your carelessness." Shino bluntly stated.

This made his teammate to flinched at this. "That's not true!" He then declared.

"You would have lost just now, if it wasn't for Akamaru." Shino repeated with more seriousness in his tone. "Had this been a true fight were it would be shinobi vs shinobi, I could had just as easily had my insects attack Akamaru the moment he reached my comrades, sucking all of his chakra, which would had resulted in heavy injury or possibly worse death." He then added.

Kiba's eyes widen in fear, as he knew that Shino was not someone that brags, he always says things he will or would had done. And he knew what his insects are capable to do that easily.

"That is why I said that your carelessness and faults will be your partners undoing if you do things recklessly." Shino stated in a serious tone. "We are shinobis, and we have to grow up and improve or face the consequences." He then finalized.

Kiba then falter slightly to this statements given to him as he then began to think it over. "Dammit. . ." He then got out with a lowered head while thinking what his teammate had told him.

Then he felt something rubbing against his leg, he looked and saw that it was a very worried Akamaru. This made Kiba smile with a depressed expression. "Yeah. . ." He began to say as he gently rub the head of his partner. "Whenever Shino saids something it means it's almost guaranteed to be true. . ." He said to both himself and his ninken.

"Arf!" Akamaru barked at his partner with an annoying tone.

This caused Kiba to grin as if was cheerful back up. "Yeah, that's just not my style huh?" He then admitted as he looked at his current opponent with a determined expression. "Let just make sure I don't do anything stupid to get you hurt, alright?" He asked his partner as he barked happily and with excitement.

Then Kiba silently began to say something that only his partner would had been able to hear. When the puppy heard that he let out a whine, obviously from not liking the idea, but he then barked in acceptance.

The Inuzuka smiled as he was glad that his partner was ok with his plan. "Alright boy, let's rock!" He declared with a new found resolve.

Shino meanwhile smirked under his collar as his insects gathered around his hands and body. "Come at me." He then ordered.

As in response, but Inuzuka and ninken were on all four once more. "Let's go Akamaru!" He stated as he was replied by a excited back from his partner and then both charge at Shino.

Both partners zigzag as they reached Shino. Unlike last time, Kiba when and delivered a barrage of claw like swipes at his teammates.

Shino backpedaled as she swung his hands to make small insect like barriers to block Kiba's swipes. As he did this he saw that Kiba didn't got out of the way nor did he bothered stopped his attacks, this slightly surprised him.

"What are you planning Kiba? You should had known that if my comrades get a hold of you, then you will have all of your chakra drain." Shino thought to himself as he continue watching Kiba swiping more of his insects.

Seeing the confusion on his teammates face, made Kiba smirked. "Now Akamaru!" He then suddenly shouted.

Shino's eyes widen as he stretched his arms to his sides to sent a wave of insects to the sides to try and maximize the area to hit to possible areas Akamaru would attack and as well as catch Kiba in the process. "Pupa." Shino ordered as they rushed at the Inuzuka heir.

Kiba then charged straight at the growing sphere of insects, shocking Shino by this action. He then did yet another crazy thing as he lashed onto the insect user holding him in a tied hold. "Fang Over Fang!" Kiba then ordered as the sphere was about to closed.

The puppy then spun while shielding itself as he charged at the still open part of the sphere.

"AH!" Kiba screamed in pain as he felt his partner hitting him in the back, but he still smiled as he felt the impulse of the low powered attack.

Shino also felt this. "No!" He quietly shouted, but it was to late as he, Kiba and Akamaru was pushed away from the sphere of insect.

"Gotcha!" Kiba declared as he threw Shino with all of his strength as far away from the insects as he could.

While the strength of the throw was too much for the less physically fit as Shino was. He rolled onto the ground as he quickly tried to readjust himself, thinking quickly what he could do as he was left in a very vulnerable state for most of his insects were now away from him.

Kiba and Akamaru soon landed onto the ground with large smirks on their faces. "Alright! The plan worked!" Kiba stated with confidence as he saw the insects began to move. "Now let's finish this!" He told his partner.

Soon both Inuzuka and ninken charged with all of their speed at the now defenceless Shino as they then spun in placed and created two mini tornados. "Fang Over Fang!" He shouted loudly.

Shiino began to sweat as he couldn't used any of his defensive moves because he was short of insects. "Not bad Kiba. . ." He thought with an impressed tone.

Now both tornados separated themselves on going to the left and the other to the right. "This fight is over!" Kiba declared as they were just a few meters from reaching Shino.

Then, Shino smiled at this and did something a suicidal person would do, placed his hand back on his coat pockets and dropped his guard. "And I agree. . ." He simply stated with a calm and composed tone.

No sooner he said this. . .

FWOOSH!

Both tornados suddenly stopped as both Kiba and Akamaru dropped just a few inches away from Shino.

Kiba then started grunting as he held his side in sudden pain. "W-What the?" He got out while panting heavily.

As if to answer the question, Shino move one of his hands out of his pocket and pointed it at both partners. At the moment, a few insects crawled out of both of them before flying towards the Aburame.

Kiba's eyes soon widen at what he saw. "W-What!?" He shouted at seeing the insects.

"When you were going through my comrades, many of them staying on your arms as they began to drain your chakra. As for Akamaru, my insects stayed on him when he pushed us aways from my pupa." Shino explained, no sooner he said this all of the rest of his insects returned to him and when back inside of him.

Akamaru then began to whine a little as he felt his strength being drained.

"D-Dammit. . ." Kiba grunted out.

Shino walked at the down Kiba and lent him a hand. "However, the idea was both reckless and impulsive. Which fits you perfectly as if had you two had just a bit more chakra let, you would had reached, resulting in my lost." He then added.

Kiba soon enough took the hand as he got to his feet, but he nearly fell had it not been for Shino holding him. "Thanks. . .I think." He then responded as he went over to his partner. "You alright boy?" He then asked with concern.

"Arf." Akamaru replied, though a bit tiredly.

Kiba then sighed in relief to this. "That's good to hear." He replied as he turned to his teammate. "Still can't believe I would've beaten you." He then bragged with a wide grin on his face. "You may have won this time, but I'll just keep getting stronger." He then added with determination.

Shino smiled at this while he nodded. "As will I." He then responded as he slightly tilted his head towards the other rookies. "We have to make sure we can keep up." He then added.

Chōmei meanwhile nodded to this sight as he figured this fight was over. "Since Kiba can't move anymore. Shino wins!" He declared as he pointed at the Aburame.

With the older generation. . .

"Well, it looks like you can teach an old dog new tricks." Kurama quipped out with a smirk.

Anko couldn't help but giggle in agreement to this as she then nodded. "Got that right, special to a stubborn one at that." She remarked.

Kakashi meanwhile was watching at the interactions of the Team Eight rookies and nodded in an impressed matter. "Well, it seems your two students had grown. In their own ways." He stated.

"I agree, mostly Kiba, though he may still be reckless, he now thinks of the consequences he could bring to his partner. But regardless, both have grown a lot." Haku explained.

Said sensei smile proudly at this. "Yes. . .they have." Kurenai simply replied with pride in her tone.

Then Kurenai watch as both Kiba and Shino headed towards the rest of the rookies, she could see that Naruto and Ino were giving the Inuzuka a hard time.

This made the kunoichi chuckle in amusement. "I was always worried that Kiba would take longer to grown." Kurenai then admitted. "But I'm glad that Shino helped him now before he would realize this before it was too late." She added.

"Well you know what they say, lessons are truly learn from experience, but also if a friend teaches them to you." Asuma stated his two cents.

Gai meanwhile nodded in calm agreement to this. "Yes, the is the youthful bonds of comrades can be a great lesson for one another." He declared in a rare sage like and calm tone.

"Yup." Asuma simply stated as he turned and to watch the rookies. "Looks like they're going to take another break." He then commented.

Kurenai soon watched the interactions once more as she hid her sadden face as a reminder of someone else. "Sakura. . ." She thought in depression for her missing student turn rouge.

Elsewhere, within the darkness. . .

A certain green and pink haired girl struggled her eyes open as forced her body to sit up. "Where. . .am I?" She then questioned. Her hazy eyes then began to clear as she saw nothing but pure darkness around her. "What is all of this?" She then asked as she got to her feet onto the ground.

"So. . .this is what you've become now. . ." A dark and sinister voice echoed from all around the area.

Sakura's head then jerked around as her body was tensed, readying herself to fight. "Who's there!?" She then questioned.

"Now. . .you shall fall. . ." The echoing voice declared.

Sakura's eyes then gave off a look of confusion to that. "Eh?" She got out. Then suddenly, it was like the ground underneath her vanished as she literally began to fall. "AAAAAAAAH!" She began screaming in fear of what was occurring as her arms were spread out as if she was freefalling.

The girl soon finally and painfully landed on the invisible ground. "Ugh. . ." She groaned out in pain as she stood up once more. "Where am I?" She asked the same question yet again.

"Do you desire power?"

To the question, Sakura flinching at this but out of anger before it became one of startlement. "Who are you?" She questioned in a paranoid tone.

However the voice didn't answered back, Sakura frustration began to filled her as she wasn't getting any answers. So in a moment of anger, she decided to answer the voiced question. "Of course I do!" She then roared.

"Would you do whatever it took and bare anything to get it?"

The voice finally asked again, this make Sakura realized that the voice will only asked questions and won't answer them. At this realization, made her growled with annoyance, but she just calmed herself as he looked up with irritation on her face. "Yes. . ." She answered. "I would do anything for the power I want. . ." She declared in a calm tone.

At that moment, a flash of pink light blinded the girl's vision, causing her to shield her eyes.

The darkness instantly banished and Sakura saw that she was now in a destroyed training field she had once trained.

Sakura then looked around in confusion at the scenery. "What?" She got out.

Before she could say anything else could be said, the vision of her previous team, Team Eight appeared in front of her, though were slightly off as a black aura was being emitted from them along with red glowing eyes, in Shino's case, the red glow coming from behind his glasses.

"Dammit! Haruno is such a whiny and annoying banshee!" Kiba suddenly shouted in a warped tone with much annoyance as he rubbed his head with irritation while Akamaru barked in agreement.

Sakura's eye then twitched at the insult. "Damn mutt. . ." She insulted.

Shino soon nodded in agreement to that as he adjusted his eyes. "I am inclined to agree. . .She has not been constructive or supportive since she was placed in are team. . .She is only a hindrance to the whole team." He stated in a calm but also wrapped tone.

Sakura then merely scuffed to the statement. "Like you actually know the real me." She retorted in annoyance.

Kurenai waved her hands in a way to calm both boys down. "Calm down, it's just she still needs time to adjust to us." She stated in the same tone as the others.

Kiba then growled to that. "Yeah right! She doesn't care for us at all! All she does cares for is Sasuke, Sasuke and Sasuke! I'm sick and tired of hearing her now!" He shouted a blunt manner.

This caused the older kunoichi to slightly flinch as she couldn't deny that fact.

"Like what all of you think matters to me now. . ." Sakura muttered in a dark tone.

"ARF!" A completely black version of Akamaru barked out in a dark tone as he then went and bit the green haired girl's right hand.

"AUGH! YOU DAMN MUTT!" Sakura roared as she then threw the dog off her, the dog along with the Team Eight members vanishing like dust along with the scenery around her.

Sakura then winced in pain as she looked at the hand that was bitten as she saw that she was bleeding as well as her Curse Mark. "My power. . ." She muttered with smirk.

"What do you hate most?"

That question filled Sakura's face with fury and hatred as images and memories of Naruto, Satsuki and Hinata's appeared in her mind. "Those demons!" She roared with venom in her tone.

"What is your reason?"

Sakura's anger and hatred then grew at the mere reason. "It's their fault! Their very existence hinders everything I ever wanted! They made me believe that the whore was the man I was destined to be with!" She roared her explanation. "They've ruined my life just by breathing the same air as me and I wasted my life for the Uchiha that was actually a whore!" She then declared.

When that was said, a flash of purple light was seen, once more forcing the girl to cover her eyes.

Then when she reopen them she saw that she was in a field of withered flowers, as the green and pink haired girl was now staring at a illusion version of Ino where like the illusions of Team Eight, there was a black aura around her with her eyes glowing red.

"You bluntly followed what I thought when I said that our precious Sasuke-kun was cute to the point you obsessed over him, but when you found out that he was actually a she, you drowned yourself in denial of it." Ino stated the truth in a warped tone.

At the sound of the platinum haired girl voice, Sakura's face cringed in fury. "That's right. . .it was you that made me even care for that disguised whore. . ." She remarked. "If you only never got me interested in her, I wouldn't have wasted my life going after the whore!" She declared with even more fury.

Ino merely scuffed to that as she then began to walk over to the green haired girl. "So pathetic Sakura Haruno. . ." She then tauntingly stated. "All you do is blame others for your own mistakes. . ." She soon added.

Sakura's soon body began to glowed in an evil green glow. "Shut up!" She roared back as she balled her hands into fists.

Ino merely shook her head in disappointment as she then suddenly punched her former friend in the face, causing said girl to fall to the ground. "So pathetic. . .and so sad. . .the poor girl that has no real path in life. . .clinging to others like a leech because you don't have the power to make your own path." She stated in an uncaring tone while walking around and examining her former friend.

This was the last straw Sakura could take as she stood back up and went to attack the illusion. "FUCK YOU!" She roared in pure anger.

But the moment she her attack hit the illusion, it vanished like the others and she then began to fall once more.

Once she hit the invisible ground, Sakura hit it again and again with rage. "FUCKIN' SHIT! WHAT THE HELL IS ALL OF THIS!?" She ranted as she kicked the ground and flailed her arms in a wild manner. "I WANT MY POWER AND NO ONE WILL GET IN MY WAY!" She then roared her declaration.

"Would you sacrifice anything to kill it?" The voice then asked another question after hearing Sakura's declaration.

Sakura's eyes then became snake like to the question while they glowed yellow-green color. Then she began to stand once more. "Without a heartbeat." She instantly stated as her voice didn't had a drop of compassion in it.

"Would you kill the thing you used loved?"

Just then, a flash of light blue blinded everything, causing Sakura to shield her eyes once more. Soon, the light faded as the girl found herself in front of a pier going to a lake. However it wasn't one of water but rather of thick red substance.

"Blood." Sakura soon stated what the liquid was, though didn't find it either strange or disturbing in the slightest.

"Correct. . .the blood of those innocents you had helped spilled. . ." A new warped voice stated. "Of yours. . .and of your masters. . ." It then added in a disgusted tone.

No sooner Sakura heard that, something surfaced on the blood filled lake. The girl then got near it and saw that it wasn't and object but rather a person, a corpse of a person.

Though Sakura didn't knew the name, she did have a vague memory of being one of those that had died during Danzō's takeover. Then more and more corpse began to surface, all being victims of the failed takeover. "Hmph. . .a weakling. . ." She then scuffed as all of the deceased.

"Weak to you. . .But they all died because of your brainwashing. . ." The warped voice then revealed.

At that moment, Sakura then turned around to see who was talking to her as her eyes then narrowed at the sight. "Sasuke. . ." She got out while growling.

Yes, in front of the girl was the former disguise of Satsuki Uchiha, but like the other illusions, he was surrounded by a black aura and his eyes were glowing red.

"What did they do to you?" Sasuke asked with contempt tone. "Nothing. . .They had never hurt you, never despises you or used you. But you think they deserved to die just because they were weak?" He then added with even more contempt.

Sakura once more scuffed while grinning at him. "Right, did you forget that you used to be an emo bastard? Kami I feel ashamed for falling for a asshole like you." She stated.

Sasuke's eyes then narrowed with anger at that. "If that's how you really feel. . .then-" He began as he disappeared and reappeared behind Sakura.

Sakura's eye widen at the sudden appear that she couldn't defend herself against the sudden appearance.

"You shall bathe in the blood of those you ended. . ." Sasuke declared before he delivered a brutal kick to Sakura's face, instantly shattering a few teeth out of her mouth as she was sent flying straight to the blood lake.

SPLASH!

Sakura soon resurfaced as she was covered in blood and spat out the blood that got into her mouth. "You ass-" It was all she could got out when she felt something holding her. "What the!?" She shouted.

Just then, moans of the anguish and sorrow were heard as the corpses began to move and grab the blood drenched female to hold her down as she struggled to break free.

Sasuke soon narrowed his eyes at the sight in front of him. "This is what lead you in your sick quest for power, was it all worth it!?" He asked with pure anger.

Sakura's eyes then looked at the Uchiha with a twisted determination. "Yes it was! I regret nothing!" She declared as she continued to try and break free from the corpses.

Sasuke's face turn blanked at the answer as if he had given up on the girl completely. "Then you will burn in the power and sins you had wanted so much. . ." He declared with an emotionless tone as he made many hand signs. "Fire Style! Dragon Flame Bullet!" He declared as he breathed a mighty flame that was worthy of the title.

The jutsu then hit Sakura's straight dead center as all of the lake began to burn in a roaring flames.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Sakura roared in agony from being burn alive. "I DON'T GIVE A DAMN! IF IT MEANT MY POWER IS ENSURED, I'LL DO ANYTHING FOR IT!" She then declared.

In a flash, everything disappeared once more and Sakura was laying again on the invisible ground, but only this time her body had third degree burns all over her body and was completely naked.

"Would you kill the people you spent time with?"

At that moment, the now deformed Sakura slowly and painfully began to stand up yet again, as her eyes were now burning with a hatred and more power crazed lust than ever before. "Yes. . ." She breathed out as her eyes were completely glowing yellow-green now.

"Would you kill those that raised you?"

At that moment, the scenery once more changed as it turned into Sakura's parents home, but only that it was completely destroyed and set ablaze while standing in the middle of the flames was her parents that had black auras and red eyes.

"Are you serious about this my daughter. . ." Sakura's father then question in a serious but warped tone that was filled with disappointment.

"You would truly throw away the love we gave you?" Sakura's mother then asked in the same tone, but also with a hint of sadness.

Sakura then gave an emotionless stare at the two that raised her. "Completely and utterly." She answered. "All of you are a weakness. . .If I had any strength, I would kill you now. . .All for the sake. . .of the power I want. . ." She then added without a hint of shame or remorse.

At the heartless answer, both of her parents slap her across the face. As her body was still weak from her burns, she easily fell without resistance. "Your not our daughter!" They both declared with anger and sadness before vanishing into the wind.

The scenery meanwhile then shattered like glass as the damaged Sakura laid on the ground, once more staring upwards at the darkness.

"Would you kill. . .your humanity? And become the thing you hate the most? All to be able to obtain the power you crave?"

At this final question, the scenery didn't change, but something did appear in front of Sakura. It was the long haired, pure pink haired, red dress wearing girl that she once took pride in being. "Well?" She then asked.

Sakura soon gave off a sick and twist giggle as she didn't move. "I've given my answers as many times as I possibly can. . ." She then answered as she kept giggling. Then she slowly and weakly raised her right hand as the Curse Mark began to spread, however this time instead of the red-orange color , it was now a sick green in color as it glowed.

At that moment, her nails then stretched out as they then stabbed her former self right through the chest. To this, illusion then spat blood as her heart was completely pierce.

Sakura then retracted her claws out of her former self, all the while giggling in a twisted glee. "Power. . .power. . .power. . .power. . .power. . ." She then began chanting, repeating the same word over and over again.

The illusion of the former girl then began to stagger back while still coughing up blood from the action upon her. Then the illusion looked at Sakura with a blank and devoid expression before it turn twisted and monstrous.

The body then began to twist and turn as it began to morph its entire body into something. . . monstrous that could be found in the worst of nightmares.

HISS!

Sakura then looked at the monstrosity in front of her, not even phased by the sight of it as she then began to giggled once more. "Yes. . .give me more. . .more. . ." She started as she struggled herself up and stood right in front of it. "Give me my power!" She then demanded without fear.

HISS!

What now stood in front of Sakura was a true monster. . .one of her own psyche that has the power to affect the real world. . .and the girl had embraced it being her new self. . .

---

Back in the real world. . .

Sakura's eyes moved as she was beginning to waking up. Then without opening her eyes, she sat on her bed, as she slowly began to open her eyes. However, they weren't the normal ones she had. . .they were now reptilian.

CLINK! CRACK!

Sakura then looked towards the hand where her changed fate began.

SMASH!

The sound of the seals that was around the Curse Mark being shattered echoed loudly. Sakura soon smiled evilly with feeling a twist satisfaction as her Curse Mark began to glow yellow-green and flickered on and off with a low humming noise.

Back at the training ground. . .

After the group had their fun with messing with Kiba and his incredible improvements, they all had taken a few moments to relax a bit, before they watch the final set of the remaining matches. However one of them was tapping their feet repetitive and was obvious that the person was anxious for their turn.

"I CAN NOT WAIT ANY LONGER! I SO DESPERATELY WANT FOR OUR MATCH TO COMMENCE!" Lee suddenly shouted as his eyes were on fire from the intensity of wanting to fight his eternal rival.

This stopped all chatting as they turn towards their overly exciting friend of their and sweatdropped in unison.

Kin meanwhile giggled in response to this. "Right, you and Neji-san are next." She remembered.

Neji could only sigh at the impatience of his friend. "Very well, let's begin our match then." He simply stated. Though he also wanted to have his match, the Hyuga didn't want to announce it to everyone in the Elemental Nations.

"YOSHA!" Lee shouted very loudly and filled with joy.

Tenten meanwhile sighed in exhaustion to this. "Lee. . ." She groaned out while she massage her forehead from frustration. "Could you for once not shout to the four winds?" She thought with irritation.

The Team Seven members and Yami meanwhile looked at one another before looking back at the hyperactive taijutsu user.

"Tenten-chan must go through a lot dattebakon." Satsuki got out.

Hinata nodded in agreement to this. "Hai, her and Neji-niisan both." She admitted.

Yami meanwhile blinked a couple of times to the sight. "At least he makes things interesting to say the least." She then tried to reassure.

Naruto let out a chuckle while grinning widely. "Got that right, it's always a blast whenever his this eager." He added with complete agreement.

Tenten had heard what the blond had to say as she looked at him with a deadpan expression. "That's because he's basically you on caffeine 24/7." She quipped out.

"OI!" Naruto shouted in annoyance as the girls got a case of the giggles.

"Actually I hate to see what would you actually looked like in caffeine. . ." Tenten then added.

The blond simply crossed his arms across his chest as he puffed his cheeks. "Well jokes on you, because I had drank coffee before and I ain't any different." He retorted.

Tenten simply blinked at that. "Huh, is that so?" She asked with a surprised tone.

"It's true, Naru-kun wasn't affected at all." Satsuki then reassured.

This made the young weapon user to let out a sigh of relief. "Well good to know, because I would really hate to see how would a hyperactive person would be like if they ever dranked espresso." Tenten stated with a relieved tone.

"Oi!" The four heard someone calling them, they turn and saw that it was Ino as she and the rest of the rookies were already seated as Neji and Lee was already in the training ground. "The matches going to start! You should be here or you'll miss it!" She informed.

"Coming!" All but Yami and Hinata shouted in reply as they ran towards the rest.

At the time, the four of them didn't know that they had just cursed themselves to a terror would soon come to them with unimaginable chaos that will bring.

Elsewhere in the world. . .

"Eechi!" A cute voice sneezed out "Moh! Who talk talk about me?" They then asked, revealing to be a female.

"?" The small animals that were around their human friend looked with a cute yet confused expressions.

Back at the training field. . .

Both Neji and Lee were already in their battle stance, both had battle ready expressions as they were ready to fight.

"Ok! Since you two are ready! Let's not wait any longer!" Chōmei began as he too could feel the two teammates were itching to start to mach. "Ready!?" He asked with an excited tone.

"YES! PLEASE DO!" Lee declared with a fire in his eyes.

Neji nodded to this. "I am prepared to fight." He revealed in a calm tone while getting into his Gentle Fist stance.

"Then let the match begin!" Chōmei declared as he jumped high into the air.

At the instant Chōmei had jumped, Lee and Neji charged at each other with impressive speeds as both their hands clashed sending them sliding backwards. Neji got into his usual stance while Lee was slightly crouching down with one hand behind his back as the other hand's elbow was bent and his hand was pointing upwards.

The two looked intensely at each other for a few moments. Neji was waiting for the right moment to attack. Lee however wasn't one to wait as he charged yet again with even more speed and tried to kick the Hyuga's head.

Neji however saw this coming as he waited for Lee to get close enough while he fluently used his hand to blocked his kick. Quickly and fluently, Neji charged forward and began to sent a barrage of Gentle Fist finger stabs to try and blocked Lee's chakra points.

Acting quickly, Lee used his foot that was still on the floor to jumped out of the range of the barrage. Once he saw that Neji had sent his last blow, it was Lee's turn to attack as he sent heavy barrage of punches.

Knowing that his speed wasn't on par with Lee's, Neji had to used his Byakugan and quick reflexes to see and dodge the attacks. To the rest, it looked like the Hyuga was standing still, not moving an inch of his place as the barrages were only phasing through Neji.

With one solid yet heavy punch, Lee tried to hit Neji's face as said Hyuga narrowly dodge the attack and sent a palmed strike at his teammates chest.

Lee's eyes widen at this, as he was sent flying backwards and began to roll on the ground. The jumpsuit wearing shinobi cough loudly as he cough small drops of blood.

Neji took a deep breath as he readjusted his stance once more. "Impressive, using the momentum of your own fist. You made it so that your body tilted enough to missed my strike at your chakra points in your chest area, which would have ended the match." He declared with a smile on his face.

Lee finally manage to stood again as he smiled widely at this. "Of course! I had fight you long enough to make sure that it would be better receiving damage than to had my chakra points closed!" He replied with excitement as he clean the small trace of blood off his lip.

The Hyuga then frown. "However, even with all this speed in this attacks, you will never land a blow on me. . ." Neji stated but not once did he sounded like he was bragging as he looked at Lee with absolute focus. "My Byakugan can see your linear attacks, which makes it easier for me to dodge." He added.

". . ." Lee said nothing as he knew that this was true, his speed was his only advantage but how can he used it to overcome his rival and friend. "I won't know until I try!" He declared as he charged once more.

Neji meanwhile sighed as he looked at his charging teammate. "Then you won't get any further than this." He declared as he once again used his reflexes to narrowly dodge the attacks and then send his own barrage.

Lee could only use the same method of narrowly move to only get damage and not get his chakra points closed. The boy was used to pain thanks to his insane training, however each attack was taking a toll on him as they were still internal.

"Ha!" Neji shouted as he thrusted both of his palms and used it to sent the jumpsuit wearing shinobi flying once more.

"GAH!" Lee got out in pain.

The slightly battered Lee stood up once more, he knew now that continuing to attack this way won't make any difference. "Well if straight attacks won't work then how can I win this match." He thought to himself.

"Still plan to attack like always? Or have you finally plan to turn this match around?" Neji asked as it was his turn to start his attack.

As Lee dodge yet another quick jabs of Neji's jabs, his eyes widen as he thought of what the Hyuga had said. He quickly jumped as far as he could to make distance, he was crouching down, all the while his face had a pensitive expression.

"Turn this match around. . ." Lee repeated those words as an idea formed inside of his head, then prepared himself once more as he looked at his teammate. "Here I come!" He then declared as he then charged at his opponent.

Neji could only let out another sigh. "Lee, unless your just as fast as sensei your attacks won't hit me." He stated once more while waiting for his rival.

As Lee was running as fast as he could, when the boy was a few meters away from his rival, he smiled widely as quickly crouched down and just as quickly jumped in a side cartwheel form.

"Mmm?" Neji got out with confusion at this act. His brief moment of confusion was broken when Lee's feet tried to hit his head, so he back dashed to dodge that attack.

This was what Lee wanted as soon as his feet hit the ground, he did a backflip jump to the exact locations Neji would stoped.

The moment Neji stopped his back dashed, his head received a double kick. "AH!" He shouted painfully, making him walked backwards at he staggered painfully.

Lee however didn't let this chance escape his hands, he then began to make three backwards backflips, each time he did this, Neji received another hit to the head as he continued to staggered backwards.

Once Lee finished his third flip, he jumped once more, but this time to land behind his rival and did a spin kick at his Neji's back, sending him flying.

"How is that for a linear attack!?" Lee asked with a satisfying tone in his voice.

Neji struggled to his feet as he looked at his teammate while leaning slightly. "Impressive attack you pulled." He started though he had flinch in pain from all those hits to that head. "Now it is time to end this." He responded in a calm tone, though winced in pain once more.

"Here comes another attack!" Lee declared as he charged once more with determination in his eyes.

Neji took his stance as he was preparing himself from any unexpected attacks. Lee then cocked back his fist as he sent a punch to Neji's chest. "So was that last attack was your only attack you could think of?" He asked as the Hyuga grabbed the fist as he used his Gentle enhance hand onto his hand.

"AH!" Lee shouted in pain as he could feel Neji closing the chakra points on his hand, working through the pain Lee managed to pulled back his arm and making Neji lose slightly his balance. Using this chance, Lee crouched down to do a downwards spin kick on Neji's feet, not to make him fall but rather to making him lose more of his balance.

While Lee was still in mid spin, he lean on one hand to sent kick to Neji's chest, then he lean on his own back, he then sent another kick at the his stomach and then his feet. Using the same momentum Lee stood on his hands while his feet were up in the sky.

The still dazed Neji stood still as Lee dropped onto his head once again and used his at a springboard to jumped upwards, while he was still on air he readjusted himself and delivered a dropkick onto his head making him hit the ground hard.

"Gah!" Neji shouted in pain as his head was now slightly bleeding.

"Yes! I finally turn this match around!" Lee shouted excitedly as this was probably the most damage he manage to give his rival in a long time.

Chōmei walked closer to see if Neji was unconscious. "Can you keep fighting?" He asked out of concern of the bleeding boy.

Neji nodded in response to this. "I can continue." He answered.

"Alright." Chōmei simply said as he quickly backed stepped when he saw that said boy was slowly starting to stand up again.

Once Neji finally stood, he clean the blood of his head and smiled at his rival. "Not bad Lee, you almost knocked me out with that hit. I was so used to fighting you in linear ways that I made myself vulnerable." He stated as he once again took his stance and once more activated his Byakugan.

Lee soon a fire behind him once more as he stared at his opponent. "I WILL ALWAYS GIVE MY RIVAL A GREAT BATTLE!" He declared.

"Well then, since your showing your new attacks, it would only be fair if I should too." Neji then responded, more so to himself then to his rival.

At the moment those words left Neji's lips, Lee charged in as he zigzag way. The Hyuga only took a deep breath as his opponent was getting closer. He didn't let this eccentric moments to baffled him anymore, when Lee was in his range he tried another low spin kick, the Hyuga backpedaled to dodge this attack and used his hand to deflect the kicked aimed as his head.

At the failed attempt of kicking, Lee used the same momentum of his kick to pass by the Hyuga's position or risked being in the range of his rivals attacks.

BAM! FWOOSH!

Was all Lee could hear as he was sent flying and rolling on the ground. "What!?" He shouted once he regained his balance. "I was sure to be as far away from his rotation! Little alone any of his attacks!" He thought with confusion.

As Lee had looked towards his rival, all he saw was that he had his palm extended out and pointing at him as a confident expression was adorning his face.

On the sidelines. . .

Hinata's eyes widen as her jaw slightly dropped, cleared sign of her recognized what it was. "Neji-niisan. . .y-you already started working on that?" She thought in disbelief.

Back to the match. . .

Lee struggled to stand back up as his bodies were showing clear sign of reaching his limits. "What. . .was that?" He got out in between pants.

At hearing the question, Neji instead of replying, he looked at his palms as they were slightly trembling. "Hmm. . .It seems I still have some ways to go before I perfect the jutsu. It's much easier to to use all in Rotation." He thought to himself, then he turned to looked at the confused rival. "It's just another Hyuga jutsu that I had began to learning, though I still have to work on it." He finally replied with a smile.

Lee however laughed loudly to that as he regained his composure and dusted himself off. "Very impressive Neji! Definitely worthy of my rival for pulling off something as cunning as this!" He praised with admiration as he retook his stance ready to fight once more.

However at that moment, Lee then began to feel dizzy before falling back onto the ground with swirls in his eyes. "Uuuugh. . ." He soon began groaning out.

Neji soon began to look at his dazed opponent. "The match is over Lee, that last attack had completely thrown your sense of balance off, so you'll lose consciousness right about. . ." He started.

THUMP!

"Now." Neji conclude with chuckle as he didn't even needed to see that his rival had already lost consciousness.

Chōmei however simply walked calmly and looked at the boy. "From the spinning eyes, it's safe to say his fine, so. . ." He began to say as he did a spin in place and stopped while pointing at the Hyuga. "The winner is. . .NEJI!" He concluded loudly.

"LEE-KUN!" A panicked Kin cried out while flailing her arms and ran over to the downed boy.

On the sidelines. . .

Tenten watched at the panicking Kin ran over to their downed teammate. "She's really gotta get used to the idea that Lee's pretty thick headed." She deadpanned.

Naruto, Satsuki and Ino chuckled and giggled in unison. "Got that right! " They replied in unison.

Hinata meanwhile looked at her cousin with slight amazement. "He's progressing just like me. . ." She thought with embarrassment at how she used to be before.

"Both Neji and Lee has improved since the Chunin Exams." Shino meanwhile stated in a calm tone.

"Got that right." Kiba agreed with a nod as he looked at the unconscious older boy. "But more so Lee, from what I heard this was the most damage he done to Neji in a long time." He added.

"Then in a sense, the real winner should be Lee-san. Though more so as a personal win then anything else." Yami deducted with the information that was given.

"That does sound about right." Fū replied in agreement.

Shikamaru could only sigh in irritation as he looked at his best friend. "Troublesome. . .with all these matches, everyone is going to whine to us to end it with style. . ." He grumbled out.

Chōji meanwhile kept munching on his chips at watching.

With the older generation. . .

Gai was crying rivers of tears of happiness at the result of the battle. "OH! THE PASSION OF MY YOUTHFUL STUDENTS HAS SHOWN TO ME HAS REACH MY HEART!" He shouted at the top of his lungs with passion.

In response to this, all near the overzealous sensei had to covered their ears.

Kakashi meanwhile sighed at the antics of his fellow jonin. "Really Gai?" He asked while only being slightly stunned by his long time friend and rival loud exclamations.

Haku however chuckled at the reaction. "Well he makes things interesting." He admitted.

"Try telling that to my boyfriend. . ." Anko declared with narrow eyes while pointing to the ground.

"MY FUCKIN' EARS!" Kurama shouted in agony as he was rolling on the ground. Since the Bijū had very sensitive ears, Gai's loud shouting was like him taking the sound a paper bomb makes to the ears. . .at point blank range.

Kakashi only looked at this and quickly looked at the students that just fought. "Well the two were impressive." He admitted as he completely ignored the agonizing Bijū.

Kurenai meanwhile nodded in agreement to this. "They have bright futures in store for them." She stated.

Asuma also nodded in agreement. "Yeah." He replied.

Back with the rookies. . .

Everyone was having difficulty speaking or talking as most of the rookies were either laughing loudly or trying to stop themselves from doing so.

Why were they like this you asked? Well. . .

"Mooh! Lee-kun, you went overboard again!" Kin chided as she wrapped her friend in bandages making him look like a full body mummy.

The mummified Lee soon regained consciousness as he looked at his friend. "Thaph Km-cam." He tried to thank the kunoichi, but could only muffled it.

Kin however blushed in response to this. "H-Hai." She got out.

"Crushing~" Both Satsuki and Ino sang-sung out in unison with teasing smiles.

This only made the former Sound kunoichi to blush even darker.

"Wph's crphing wph?" The mummified Lee asked in confusion as he tried to tilt his head, but couldn't because of the bandages.

"N-Nothing Lee-kun!" Kin panickingly responded with her face crimson. "A-Anyway! It's our turn Tenten!" She then added as she pushed said snickering girl, making her blush even more. "Not funny!" She then whispered in a slightly angered yet embarrassed tone.

"Oh? What's not funny? The fact that you have horrible banaging skills or that fact the Lee-kun is really thankful of you doing it?" Tenten replied with a shit eating grin on her face.

The very embarrassed Kin then narrowed her eyes. "That's it, I will not be holding back during our match!" She decided as she dropped the smirking girl. "And I just started getting used to these, Gai-sensei says I really am adaptive." She then stated while pointing to her legs.

Tenten meanwhile blinked a couple of times, confused as to what she was was referring to. "Please don't tell me that your having Lee's insane amount of weights. . ." She asked with a blank expression.

Kin faced widen in terror at the question. "No! I'd be unable to move let alone fight!" She replied at the mere thought of having to used the same weights as Lee. Then she reached down and took off her weights. "I got slightly less than him. It's just around thirty to thirty-five kilos." She then corrected as she released them, making a soft impact onto the ground.

This made the other kunoichi to let out a sigh of relief. "That's good to hear, it would be complete unreal if you start running at his insane speeds." She commented with a chuckle.

Kin merely giggled to that as she bounced around a little with her legs feeling lighter. "Now that is something I can't never to do." She then admitted. "As of now that is." She thought to herself with a small fire of determination in her eyes. "But I can still dream can't I?" She added while giggling.

Tenten giggled once more as she pulled out a three scrolls and placed them on the ground. "Well if your going to show off your improvements, then so will I." She declared as she unsealed all three scrolls and smoke engulfed the area.

Once the smoked cleared there was three weird yet familiar looking objects.

"Two gauntlets and a sword?" Kin questioned as she looked at the three objects.

While true that they looked like the things the girl had said, each of the objects looked very strange. Both gauntlets had different weird parts attach to them, the one the should be placed on her left hand had long parts, while the one the should be placed on the right had short bulky parts.

The sword was long and thin, however it looked like it could be easily break as it was made by welding many metal parts together into a the blade of the sword.

Tenten then placed the gauntlet that had the longer parts on her left arm while she placed the bulker one on her right arm. "They look like that don't they?" She vaguely hinted with a grin as she placed the sword to her side.

"What do you mean by that?" Kin asked in confusion.

The blacksmith girl only grinned wider at the question. "You'll see." Tenten simply replied as she was excited to show off her knew weapons. "Thank you dad." She praised in her head.

"Ok! Is everyone ready!?" Chōmei excitedly asked the two girls.

"All set." Tenten calmly answered as she got into a stance that looked as if she was ready to counterattack at any time.

"Ready." Kin also replied as she took out some of her trusty senbons in between her fingers.

Chōmei then smirked as he leap back to get some distance. "FIGHT!" He declared.

Unlike their battle crazed friends, the two girls didn't charged at each other the moment the fight started, but instead jumped back so that they could gain some distance from the other.

They both stared at each other for only a few moments as they tried and come up with the best course of action. More so Kin as she was concerned with the strange weapons her fellow female teammate brought out as she couldn't for her life figure out what they were so she hesitate to attack.

"Don't know what's up with her weapons, but I better placed her on the defencive so that she won't use them." Kin finally decided inside of her mind as she slightly crouched down while stretching her hands still holding her senbons.

At this motion, Tenten also tighten her fist. "Looks like she's going to attack first, well that's just fine with me." She thought to herself as she moved her right index finger and touched a small bottom on her bulky gauntlet.

PING!

"Eh?" Kin got out in confusion.

At the sound of small metal chining made Tenten smiled as she was ready to used her knew weapon.

Before Kin could let the blacksmith's daughter act on anything, she threw a handful of senbon at her with good accuracy. While said girl only dodge swiftly to the right to avoid them. But doing so, Kin charged with her new speed to appear behind Tenten, but this time with a kunai on hand.

"Now!" Kin shouted in her mind as she swung her small blade at the girls back, while being careful not to hit any vital areas.

At the sound of a whirling blade, Tenten began to turn around as a her right hand moved to blocked the blade.

CLANK!

The sound of two small blades clashing with each other echoed moderately.

"What the!?" Kin exclaimed as she didn't see the blacksmith's daughter pull out her blade out. Then she looked at where her kunai had hit and her eyes widen in shocked. "What?!" She shouted at the sight.

What Kin saw was right below Tenten's bulky gauntlet a short dagger sprang out of it and was using it to block her kunai.

Tenten in turn smirked as she pushed the girl's kunai back. "Like my new weapon?" She jokingly asked as she sent a swift kick to the girl's stomach, sending her flying backwards. "I called it the Hidden Blade." She soon revealed proudly as the blade in wrist gauntlet retracted itself inward.

With the rookies. . .

All of the Rookies had their eyes wide open at the sight of Tenten's new weapon.

"Cool! That's an awesome way to hide a blade!" Naruto commented with an amazed tone.

"I didn't even see it dattebakon." Satsuki admitted.

Hinata nodded while her eyes never separated from the blade. "Me neither, infact if I don't used my Byakugan I wouldn't had been able to see, let alone dodge if she attacked me with it in secret." She commented with both amazement yet slight fear at what the blade could be used for.

"Indeed. . ." Yami admitted as she too saw the potential the weapon had.

Back to the match. . .

Kin meanwhile had stopped coughing from the hit as she then looked on the wrist where the blade had disappeared into the gauntlet as she looked at the blacksmith's daughter. "Hidden Blade. . .Wonder what it can do?" She then jokingly asked.

"Haha. . ." Tenten sarcastically laughed to the attempted joke her fellow female teammate made. "Well this gauntlet was made so that I could pretty much carry and never lose a blade without looking suspicious, while yeah it's still in development because of its bulky appearance." She began to explain what her new weapons is.

The young weaponsmith used the concept of the hidden pole spear her father had shown her the first day of learning the advanced weapon forging and adapt it so that she could fit it in a simple gauntlet. However, she couldn't use the movement activation the pole had, so she changed it to have a safety lock, this way if the user doesn't intentionally press the button, then blade will never come out by accident.

"This little puppy could be extremely useful for close range assassinations and the poor vict- I mean target would never even see the kill coming not until I shove it straight behind their back. . .where their heart is. . .or slit them in the throat. . ." Tenten finally concluded with a evil grin on her face as she made the blade come out again.

This in turn made Kin gulp because she indeed didn't see that coming at all.

With the older generation and Haku. . .

All of the older shinobi had their eyes slightly widen in amazement, since they already being season shinobi's, they knew what the benefits of how such a weapon could be extremely useful in a multiple scenarios.

"I must say Gai, your little kunoichi has created a hidden gem of a weapon for any assassinations specialist to have." Kakashi praised with complete honesty, since the elite jonin was an ex-Anbu, he could see every Anbu having such a weapon for more secretive assassinations without the risk of having to alarms or detections.

"I'll say, a lot of shinobis, no screw that, ALL the ANBU would go nuts over that puppy of a weapon." Anko agreed as she had the same thoughts as the ex-Anbu.

"I knew I made the right choice to motivate Tenten to focus on weapons!" Gai shouted as he cried rivers of tears as he felt great pride at her students accomplishments.

"Stealth kills, not bad." Kurama admitted. "I can imagine her wearing a hood to cover her face so she could blend in with people and then go for the kill." He added with a chuckle at his joke.

"That sounds like something Haku would do." Anko then joked out with a teasing smirk.

Said boy only looked at the two with a smiled on his face. "Be careful. . .I am pretty good with my stealth skills if you consider my Hidden Mist jutsu, who know what I could do if I combine that with this gauntlet." He simply replied with an eerie tone.

Both Kurama and Anko flinched at the thought of the ice user using such a combo.

"Anyways. . ." Kurenai suddenly said to stopped that discussion. "If this is just one of her new weapons, then what else could she come up with?" She question in a wondering tone.

"Guess we'll just had to wait and see." Asuma simply stated.

Meanwhile with the fight. . .

"Well no way I would simply do that to a friend! That's why I'm telling you this, so you won't get yourself killed!" Tenten then added with a wide grin.

"Jeez. . .that makes me feel so much better. . ." Kin sarcastically replied with a flat voice. "So going to explain what the other gauntlet does?" She then asked.

Tenten placed a finger on her chin as she took a thinking pose. "Mmm. . .Not yet. I want to show it off first!" She finally answered with a shit eating grin on her face.

"Great. . ." Kin thought with much annoyance as she now had to stay on her toes to what the weaponsmith had cooked up. "Well let just see how that thing is against long range!" She declared as she pulled out more Senbons as began to throw them at the girl's arms and legs.

"Oh boy!" Tenten exclaimed as her eyes widen. She then began to dodge the senbons as she tried to not only to be at a safe distance, but also from any hidden genjutsu tricks.

Kin then rushed in once more with a slightly increased speed while she circled around Tenten, all the while throwing more senbons. "The weights did slightly affect my speed. . .I know I'll never be like Lee-kun or Gai-sensei's speed, but any speed I gain is better than I ever had before." She thought to herself.

Now they young weaponsmith was in a bind, she would tried to used her Hidden Blade to block some senbons, but only for the former Sound kunoichi to send more from another direction. "Ok!" She began as she continued blocking the projectiles. "Time for revealed number two! This is going to be a closed call!" She thought with a bit of fright in her tone as she when to reached her blade, and like her gauntlet another clinking sound was heard.

At this action, Kin narrowed her eyes to the possible plan. "Oh no you don't!" She shouted as she took out another handful of Senbons and threw them to both sides of Tenten's arms. "This will take one of her arms." She thought to herself.

Tenten's eyes widen as he face turn to fear at this action, but the fear turn to a joking grin one. "Gotcha!" She declared as she span in place while she swung her blade.

CLINK! CLINK! CLINK! CLINK!

The sound of every senbon being hit was heard as they landed harmlessly on the ground.

"Oh come on!" Kin shouted in annoyance as yet another sure hit was blocked.

The spinning girl finally stopped as she grinded at the stun girl, all the while she swung her blade once more and made a loud snapping sound.

"What the heck!? A whip!? I thought it was a sword!" Kin exclaimed in renewed shock.

What Kin saw was Tenten holding onto a very weird yet dangerous looking whip, it was moderately long and looked very flexible like one, but it had a pattern of small blades attach to it, making it looked really dangerous.

The young weaponsmith however smirked as this had raised the whip upwards and pushed a the same button, making the blade retract and form the same sword it had. "Nope! It's actually both a sword and a whip! It's a Steel Chain Whip! This weapon is a two for one! Very hard to used, but still useful for both mid and close range fighter!" Tenten declared loudly and proudly while pointing the blade at Kin.

With the rookies. . .

"WHOA! That looks so awesome!" Naruto shouted while his eyes were sparkling.

"A sword that can also be used as a medium range weapon. . ." Yami deducted as she looked at the sword itself. "What a fascinating blade. . ." She added as her eyes had a certain spark in them.

Satsuki raised an eyebrow as she saw the look on the swordswoman eyes. "Um. . .Yami-chan? You ok?" She asked out of concern while she wave a hand in front of her face.

Hinata meanwhile blinked a couple of times at the appearance of the whited haired girl. "I see. . ." She thought with a small giggle escaping her lips. "She's fine Satsuki-chan, it's just that it looks like Yami-chan really likes swords." She stated with an amused tone.

At this little hint, everyone turn and saw the still intense stare of Yami's, making everyone sweatdrop at what the girl was. "She a sword fanatic. . .isn't she?" They all thought in unison.

Back at the sparring match. . .

Once again, the young weaponsmith had used the new concept of safety lock on the whip to pulled onto the flexible steel part so that it shows a blade like appearance and once pressed it will she its true form. However to her credit, Tenten made the concept of this unique and deadly looking whip by herself after many failed attempts.

However Tenten then slowly lowered it as she looked to the side. "Though the downside is that since it's still in development it not very durable than I had hope. . .any heavy blows would break it. . ." She then admitted with a hint of embarrassment.

Kin meanwhile was impressed with what her friend had designed and revealed so say, but kept it hidden since they were fighting. "This is gonna be more difficult. . ." She thought.

With the older generation and Haku. . .

Kakashi then began examining the sword that the blacksmith's daughter was using. "Hmm. . .though it doesn't look as it could be useful for assassination, the weapon does however appeared to be very versatile in many situation." He stated with an amused tone. "Well if she fixes that low durability problem that is." He quickly added.

"Hell yeah! I like the hidden blade thing, but this one is more my style!" Anko stated with a wide grin. "I can just image coating that puppy with all sorts of poisons. . .and making many tremble with it. . ." She added with an evil look on her face.

Kurama meanwhile looked on at the weapon as the blacksmith's daughter prepared herself once more. "Hmm. . .it really reminds me of a tail from us Bijū, aggressive and deadly." He thought in a serious manner. "Well, if it wasn't so damn weak like ours." He added with a bragging tone. He then looked at his mate and smirked. "Good idea Anko-chan, it would suit you." He praised.

Kurenai rubbed her forehead while letting out a groan to that. "Don't encourage her. . ." She groaned out in a mutter as she looked at her purple haired friend that was all but drooling. "Just great. . .Anko got something new to play with. . ." She thought in slight annoyance to the thought of Anko using her own version of the blacksmith's daughter's weapon.

"She's definitely got a future in the weapon making business." Asuma stated with both a joking and serious tone.

Back at the fight. . .

"Ok. . ." Kin started in her head as she looked at both the hidden blade on her opponent's right wrist and steel chain sword in her right hand. "Now what the hell do I do now?" She then thought, trying to come up with a plan to counter the weapons.

"Ok. . .No more playing defensive." Tenten thought to herself with a smirk on her face, then she charged forward as she adjusted her blade to attack.

This momentarily stunned Kin, but she quickly recovered by dodging to the right. "Damn!" She swore out.

However Kin didn't had the chance more when the hidden dagger was heading straight at her shoulder, making her backpedal as quickly as she could.

CLINK!

The sound of the whip then echoed as Tenten sent her now extended her whip straight at Kin. Said girl quickly used her kunai to blocked it, this action made the blade easily bounce back, showing the weakness it clear. It was strong to shredding, but not for giving heavy impact damage.

Taking this chance, Kin made enough space to get out of the range of the whip. "Going to have to risk it." She thought with determination. So not wasting any time she took out a hand full of senbons in one hand and a kunai in another. "Ok, as long as I stay out of range, I'll be safe. . ." She then deducted in her head as she began working on a new plan.

With the plan full processed in her mind, Kin first launched the senbon with a moderate speed at Tenten.

Seeing this, the girl could only giggle. "Really? The same trick?" Tenten asked and once again she spun her whip around herself and blocked the senbons.

Kin however didn't reply as she took out another set of senbons and threw them once again, but this time much slower than before.

This only made Tenten frown in response to the assault. "Ok. . .now your just wasting your senbons." She commented as she span the whip yet again.

At this action, Kin smirked as the girl had fall for her trap. "Got you!" She thought with excitement as she threw her kunai with much more speed and force that complete passed the earlier senbons.

CLANK!

Tenten's eyes widen in shock as her whip bounce off course of her spinning, leaving her wide open. "SHIT!" She shouted in terror.

The senbon hit their mark as they were imbedded into the girl's right arm. "AUGH!" Tenten cried out in pain as her right arm fell in a limp manner as she dropped the whip as well.

"Just like Haku said! Hit the right nerve and its a temporary lose all mobility of that area!" Kin stated with pride as she was glad to had learn this subject from the ice user.

The older boy had taught her that if she hit key nerves areas, that will render her that body part useless for a short period of time.

"Looks like the fight is over." Kin declared as she pulled out more senbons on each hand. "You can't use your hidden blade and I won't let you grab the whip." She then added as she was ready to throw her senbons.

Tenten meanwhile grabbed her free, slightly bleeding shoulder as she was panting. However behind the view of the senbon user, the girl secretly began to move her finger to the bottom on her left gauntlet. "You think so. . ." She whispered as she began to grin.

Then in a swift motion, Tenten swung her left arm as the two long parts on the top part of the gauntlet spread as a string was connecting the two ends. Then where the two long parts was, three senbon were being hid. As Tenten had her middle and index finger touching a button that was located on her palm.

Kin then finally took a glimpse at her friend's left arm in confusion. "Senbons?" She thought.

That was all the girl could think as Tenten pressed the bottom.

CLICK! SWISH!

The sound of a button being pressed and then the sound of something flying incredibly fast could barely be heard.

"KYA!" Kin shouted in pain as she dropped her senbons, then she saw that a senbon had hit her right leg, making her fell onto her left knee. "W-What the!?" She exclaimed in even more confusion and wide eyes.

Tenten was still pointing her arm at the girl as she then grinned at the expected reaction. "Like you said Kin, hit the right nerve and it will be temporarily paralyzed." She stated with joking tone as she revealed her left arm.

The blacksmith's daughter then smiled proudly as she showed her left wrist. "May I introduce now my last creation, a wrist gauntlet with the capability to firing senbons like a crossbow, though it's compact in size and may not have the same power. It's still launches them at insane velocity to always reach their mark while barely being able to hear it being launch." She began to explained the functions of her weapon.

"I call this. . . the Phantom Blade since it's strikes will be like as if a ghost strikes at the enemy." Tenten declared while making a pose to show her weapon of.

"O-Oh come on. . .a long range weapon too!?' Kin struggled out, though her body was suddenly started to feel more shaky.

"Oh! And I also forgot to mention that while its limit to three senbons before you have to manually reload it. You can coated each senbon with any liquid substance, like poisons or. . ." Tenten began as the second senbon began to take its place ready to launch and pointing it at Kin. "Paralysis." She concluded with a wide grin as a small yellow liquid dropped from the senbon.

"Ugh. . ." Kin groaned out as she felt the affects of the paralyzing liquid through her body.

"Don't worry, that one had very low paralyzing effect, it will last for about a minute max." Tenten explained. "But this one?" She then suddenly stated as she lightly wave her weapon. "It will last much, much longer." She concluded with a shit eating grin on her face.

Kin let out a sigh as she understood the meaning of that statement. She could barely move and their was still a few seconds before the effects wear off. "I. . .I give. . ." She got out with a sigh as she sat down to show she meant it.

At this statement, Tenten lowered her hand crossbow. "I thought so~" She replied in singsong tone.

Chōmei did a high somersault and landed on his feet and pointed at Tenten. "Since Kin-chan admitted surrender, the winner is Tenten-chan!" He declared loudly.

On the sidelines with the rookies. . .

All of the rookies were still talking about the new weapons that Tenten made than the actual fight, well all but Lee that is.

"Yth dth yorth beth Kth-cth! Goth woth thnthn!" The mummified Lee called out while hopping in place as he tried to cheered both girls for a good match.

Satsuki meanwhile giggled at the actions of her mummified friend. "So many different weapon ideas. . ." She then breathed out in disbelief. "She really has a talent for creating them, wonder what will she come up with with that chakra core." She then added with a wonder in her tone.

"Besides fixing your shield?" Naruto soon reminded.

"Well yeah, I really want it to be repaired, but I also mean in general. What other amazing weapons will she be able to make." Satsuki clarified with a curious tone.

Hinata then looked at both the hidden and phantom blades on the blacksmith's daughter's wrists. "Well if the weapons shown in this match had any indications, they were both imaginative, revolutionary and very versatile in its uses, then I can honestly say her future creations will be beyond our imagination could ever think of." She stated her honest opinion with a proud smile.

"Got that right, I can imagine many shinobi, hell I would even bet money that the ANBU are gonna want them if she decided to mass produce them." Ino then said her piece.

"Well those things are pretty interesting and not to insult her or anything, but I would still prefer to stick with shurikens and kunais." Kiba stated as he really didn't find the weapons that appealing. "I mean our clan is mostly fights with our hands." He then added with an honest tone.

"Hmm. . ." Shino hummed out. "The Aburame might benefit from the blade." He muttered to himself. "After all, if our fight had taught me anything, is that having some kind of weapon ready to used at a moments notice would be very useful as it could be my last line of defence." He then added.

At that moment it was when the two kunoichi finally reached the rest. "Well that was a workout." Tenten remarked with a grin on her face.

Kin only gave a blank stare at the girl. "More like you showing off your weapon." She then corrected with a deadpan tone before smiling. "Though, truth being told, I want my own phantom blade to use since it fits my fighting style." She soon added.

This made the young weaponsmith grin widely. "Sure!" Tenten declared, before her eyes slightly widen at remembering something. "Though. . .I still have to work out on some flaw and make more improvements here and there." She admitted with a thoughtful expression.

"Hey it's ok, you don't-" Kin was about to say.

"But once they're done, you can always come and buy them at our store!" Tenten interrupted as she placed her hands together while rubbing them as her eye had yen symbols on them.

"Huh, never thought you would have a thing for money." Ino the admitted with Satsuki nodding in agreement.

Tenten's ears jerk at that statement as she instantly turned and glared at the fellow kunoichi, slightly startling them. "Do you have any idea the cost it takes to make these things!? Not to mention the wasted materials that could come out of failed attempts that completely backfired!? IT'S A FINANCIAL NIGHTMARE!" She roared with indignation and fury at the ignorant girls.

The two said ignorant girls hugged each other out of fear of the furious glares of the older girl. "We're sorry!" They exclaimed in terror.

The still furious Tenten was about to shake the two terrified girls silly to their reactions, however. . .

"Excuse me." The voice of a monotone yet slightly excited tone stopping her. The girls then turned and saw that it was Yami who had stopped her. "Would it be alright with you if I could examine your sword?" She asked politely as her eyes had that certain sparkle again.

This stopped all of Tenten's fury when she saw those eyes. "Uh. . .ok?" She got out as she was getting weird feelings out of the silver-blue haired girl. As she slowly took out her chain whip. "Here you-" Was all she could say as the weapon had disappeared from her hand. "Go?" She concluded as she looked at her empty hand.

"Oh. . ." Yami got out as she had the blade in her hands

Then the young swordswoman began to carefully and meticulously examining every part of the weapon, from the parts that formed the blade and then once it turned into a whip, she looked at how the mini blades were in every way and form.

"When it's in sword shape, it has a size of a basic broadsword, thought the width is just average, it's composed of at least ten segments. Then once it's in whip form the size double in size as the blades have a perfect cutting abilities separated from one another, perfect length so that it can bend without clashing with another and make the fluidity of each crack of the whip deadly and precise." Yami analysed with great detail as her eyes never lost their strange shine.

Everyone was left speechless at what they just saw and heard. "That's. . .actually correct. . ." Tenten stated with a baffled expression.

This made the swordswoman recalled where she was as she blinked and then blushed slightly. "I apologize. . .It's just I really like swords and I like to learning about any types of swords. . ." Yami shyly stated.

Then in unison, everyone sweatdropped at the explanation. "Yup. . .sword fanatic. . ." They all thought in unison.

"Ya learn something new about a person every day, who would had thought Yami-chan had this side dattebakon." Satsuki got out as she then giggled.

At that statement, Ino suddenly thought of something. "Wait, did she act like that when she saw your sword?" She asked the blond in a curious tone.

"Huh?" Naruto got out as he began to recalled his time when Yami had seen his sword. "No, not really." He simply stated.

Yami then slightly blushed at the question as everyone began to look at her. "I would never act such a way to a fellow sword user as he is also my sensei." She quickly responded, though her blush never faded.

"And. . .I've also been holding back the urge to want to examine and study the legendary Executioner's Blade of the Seven Ninja Swordsman of the Mist after seeing it for the first time." She then admitted as she was trying desperately trying not to look at the scroll where said blade was sealed, though the shine in her eyes gave it way what she really wanted.

"You really want to see it, huh?" Ino bluntly asked while she sweatdropped.

At the very accurate question, Yami couldn't hold back another blush to appear on her face. "I've even know about the unique ability it has to repair itself using the iron from blood." She then stated.

"IT CAN DO WHAT!?" Naruto roared at the top of his lungs at that as he took out his scroll and unsealed the sword in question. "THIS THING CAN REPAIR ITSELF!?" He added with eyes widen in both startlement and excitement.

Yami then looked at the blond and blinked a couple of times. "Y-You didn't know?" She then asked in innocent confusion.

"NO! HAKU NEVER TOLD ME DATTEBAYO!" Naruto then roared out.

With the older generation. . .

All of the jonin and Bijū turn to looked at the Ice user with disbelief filled expressions

The boy in question couldn't help be but chuckle in embarrassment. "I knew I forgot to tell him something. . ." Haku then muttered to himself.

Back with the rookies. . .

"Now that is awesome!" Satsuki then exclaimed to the sword's ability.

"Well when you think about it, the sword is called Executioner's Blade, so it would logically be exposed to blood." Hinata theorised.

"But you gotta admit, the concept of using blood kinda creepy. . ." Ino couldn't help but admit as she shivered a bit at the thought.

"Well I personally find the concept or actually doing such a weapon incredible, I wish I could create something just as incredible as that." Tenten stated.

"What, like a growing and evolving weapon?" Kin then suggested.

Tenten in turn shook her head to that idea. "Nah, just something that will be just as revolutionize as the same degree as the Seven Swordsman, that way it will make our home be better protected." She declared with a content smile.

"That's a great goal to have." Kin replied with proud admiration. "Do you agree Ya-" Was all she could asked the girl.

The reason being was because said girl had her entire attention completely focused at Naruto's sword as her eyes were shining like stars while breathing heavily at the sight.

Naruto couldn't help but let out an amused chuckled as she placed it near the girl, knowing that she wouldn't be able to pick it up. "Go ahead." He simply said to the girl.

Yami's eyes widen and blushed prettily. "I couldn't possible do such a disrespectful thing as touched another's fellow swordsman blade." She politely tried to say, but her hands were already touching the huge sword.

The blond could only stare at this with half open eyes. "Uh huh. . ." Naruto got out with a deadpan tone. "Just get it over with. . ." He then added.

At hearing the owner's permission, Yami's eyes now sparkling even brighter then when she held Tenten's chain sword, then she began to look at every inch and detail the massive blade possessed with keen critical eyes.

"The blade itself has two cut outs, a circle close to the top and a semi-circular one nearer the handle, that aptly fit the sword's purpose of decapitation as its name is implied. A unique aspect it also posses is that the latter notch allows a strap to be wrapped around the weapon, making it easier for the user to carry. It also has a very extremely long handle is also detachable to further aid transportation and then reattached when required for combat. However, despite if one is well physically trained, the weight of the blade could still tire almost anyone, even season jonin out easily. So I'm inclined to believe that it takes a very specific people with natural enhance strength, such as that Zabuza Momochi since he didn't have any trouble when he was wielding it himself or be able to take the longer approach and train their bodies to be able to wield it. So I'm inclined to deduced it was what Naruto-sensei did in order to wield it." Yami droned on as she explained everything is a very fast and possessed like matter.

In unison, everyone yet again sweatdropped but with a larger one then the first time at how their new friend was acting.

"Like I said," Satsuki then began with a giggle. "You learn something new about a person every moment dattebakon." She happily stated.

"You think?" Tenten replied as she made a mental note of keeping the girl at a safe distance from her newer swords in the future.

"I'll say." Naruto agreed with a nod.

The female Hyuga couldn't help but to also let out a giggle. "At least she'll keep things interesting." Hinata then reassured with a smile.

"I got to agree with that!" Fū instantly agree with a wide grin on her face.

"Troublesome. . ." Shikamaru grumbled out.

Thanks to the enhance hearing the older generations gained from years of being shinobis, they managed to heard everything that the younger generation had just discussed as many of them were either chuckling or sighing.

Kakashi couldn't help gave out a light chuckle. "I got to say Haku. . .you do know how to pick them." He commented in a teasing manner while eye smiling.

Haku meanwhile covered his face in embarrassment and groaned at the remark. "I did not pick anyone. . ." He declared.

"Jeez, a sword fanatic." Kurama however quipped out as he looked at his mate. "You got yourself a really interesting one." He then stated.

"Well. . .at least she's serious most of the time. . .I just got to keep her away from unique swords. . ." Anko got out as she had just said the same thoughts Tenten had. "I really hope I don't get more girls with. . .eccentric quirks. . ." She added.

"Well, at least she'll make the village more lively because of the girl's fetish." Asuma then reassured, trying to make a joke out. However he was quickly silenced when Kurenai gave him a glare. "I'll be quiet now. . ." He declared.

"Good." Kurenai responded in a nonsensical tone.

Back with the rookies. . .

"Well, time for the last match!" Chōmei declared as he was slightly more upbeat, wanting to end the matches with blaze of glory kind of way. "Chōji and Shikamaru, get over here!" He then ordered.

Shikamaru then groaned in annoyance to this. "Great. . ." He grumbled out.

Chōji was hitting the bag of his chips to eat the crumbs that was left. "Well, guess is our turn." He simply commented with neutral tone.

"Shikamaru. . ." Ino grumbled out in a demanding tone. "You better go and fight or else I will tell your mom about this." She threatened while cracking her knuckles. "And you also better not follow his lazy example either!" She then shouted at her other teammate.

Said boy could only let out a long and heavy drawn out sigh that was nothing filled with annoyance. "Troublesome. . ." Shikamaru then grumbled out.

"Got it." Chōji got out in a more fear filled tone.

With the not so subtle threat from their platinum haired teammate, both best friends headed towards the training field, with little enthusiasm in their step.

"Let's just get this over with. . ." Shikamaru once more grumbled out while scratching the back of his head.

Once they had stepped into the field, Shikamaru was looking at it lazily. However behind his lazy look he was actually using his insanely genius mind to analyze for any possible way to helped him in the fight. Every stone, crack, bump, even a blade of grass that ithad gain after all of the previous matches it had to with stand.

However he could only let out another sigh when he concluded that he really couldn't used much alongside his shadows. "This is really going to be a long and troublesome fight. . ." Shikamaru whine one more, knowing that to win the fight he will have to but more effort than he was willing to give.

"I'll try to keep it short then." Chōji then replied.

The childish Tailed Beast then looked at the two before nodding. "Alright! Final match! Shikamaru vs Chōji! Let the match. . .BEGIN!" Chōmei declared with absolute excitement of the last match.

However one of the only responses was a yawn from the Nara heir.

"Expansion Jutsu!" Chōji declared while his body became large and round like a ball.

Shikamaru's eyes widen as he was all to familiar to what was about to happen. "Ah crap!" He grumbled out as he jumped out of the way.

No sooner the shadow user did so, the rolling boulder passed him and would had left him flatter than a pancake. Being the genius that he was and seeing this jutsu many times, he knew that he wasn't strong enough to used his shadows to stopped the spinning chubby death ball.

Said chubby death ball stopped just before reaching the end of the training field and then began to roll back at his best friend once again.

After doing this two more times, Chōji suddenly stopped as he pulled out his head. "Well this isn't going anywhere. . ." He commented while he lean his head to the side.

"Glad you think so. . ." Shikamaru got out thinking that his friend was find this match as troublesome as him and wanting to quit too. "How about-" He tried to say.

"So. . .How about I do this!" Chōji declared as he pulled back his head and began to spin in place, but unlike last time, he jumped upward and was heading straight at his best friend.

Shikamaru was forced to once again tried to jumped out of the way, but unlike last time, the spinning chubby death ball didn't roll away, but instead he jumped again upon impact and then once again aimed for him.

"Bouncing Human Boulder!" Chōji declared as he kept at it.

"This is so troublesome!" Shikamaru grunted out once more in annoyance while running away from the falling chubby ball of the death.

"Um. . .well that's lame. . ." The very dissapointed Chōmei commented when all he saw was the pine haired boy just running away.

Shikamaru continued to running aways as his mind continued to think of what he could do. "Damn it! I thought I could just force Chōji to roll of the field, but now that he can bounce he can control where he can goes. " He thought to himself with annoyance.

Once he finally got a good enough distance away from his best friend, Shikamaru wa forced to used his true intellect as he quickly crouched down as his fingers of his hands meat with one another. He had to quickly think of something he could do or risked being confused to a paper cut figure of himself.

"Guess I have no choice be used the jutsu dad taught me, though it's strong, I don't think I have enough chakra to hold him for long. . ." Shikamaru thought to himself.

That was all the time the boy had to plan as he was forced to dodge yet again.

"Alright! Time to finish the fight!" Chōji roared as he continue jumping. He then suddenly stopped in place, but he didn't' stopped spinning as his speed continued to increase.

Upon seeing this action, Shikamaru didn't any waste time as he did a hand seal as he began channeling a lot of his chakra into the jutsu. Just as he was about to reached the necessary chakra to activate his jutsu, Chōji had gained enough of his speed to what he was planning.

"This is it!" Chōji declared loudly and with one heavy impact, the spinning chubby ball jumped higher than before and once he was high enough he continue spinning to gain even more speed. "BOUNCING METEOR JUTSU!" He shouted as he headed straight at his best friend with triple the speed than before.

Shikamaru couldn't help but let out a cold sweat fall from his check as all he could only stood in place as his concentration was all going into maintaining his jutsu. "Hate cutting it close. . ." He thought with fear and annoyance as he closed his eyes.

The meteor Chōji was not a few meters right on top of his friend, when. . .

Shikamaru's eyes open as he finally channeling his jutsu. "Shadow Strangle Jutsu!" He declared as his shadows instead of stretching like normal, they instead sprang out from the ground like a rope.

The rope like shadows spread as incredible speeds as they caught the meteor Chōji was actually being held in mid air. "Whoa!" Chōji got out as he was still boulder size but was unable to move.

"Wow! Now that's cool!" Chōmei declared loudly.

As everyone else was waiting to see what would happen next, they didn't saw the sweat dripping off of Shikamaru's face, all the while he panted as will.

"Hey Chōji. . ." Shikamaru began with a serious tone.

Everyone was on their edge of their seats wanting to know what the shadow user had to say.

"You win. . .just go back to normal already. . ." Shikamaru finally declared.

"WHAT!?" Everyone shouted in either anger, annoyance or confusion.

"Huh?" Was all Chōji had to say.

Shikamaru's shadows were wearing on and off. "I really haven't master this jutsu so it take a lot of concentration as well as being unable to move. . .and it also drains a large amounts of my chakra. . .I have a least a good ten seconds before it cancels and you crush me. . ." He stated.

". . ." Chōji blinked as he processed what just happen and then his jerked slightly. "Oh! Ok." He finally got out when he realized what this all meant as he ended his expansion jutsu to return to normal size.

At the sight of the Nara heir giving up and the chubby heir returning to normal, Chōmei only had a deadpan expression. "Lame. . ." Was all he had to say as he didn't even announce the winner and simply walked away with a disappointed expression on his face.

With the older generation and Haku. . .

The older generations had the same blanked expressions as if they all expected this from the very start..

Asuma groaned as he rubbed the brow of his forehead in exhaustion. "That. . .was so expected that I'm not even surprised anymore. . ." He got out.

"No comment. . ." All of the rest simply stated with the same blanked tone.

"Lame. . ." Kurama deadpanned while saying the same thing as his younger brother.

Back with the rookies. . .

With the rookies all of them had a deadpan expression at this anticlimactic final fight, however one of them had a much more. . .physical response to the said anticlimactic conclusion.

Ino's body was shivering as her eye twitched in anger. "I. . . am. . . going. . . to. . . kill. . . them. . ." She slowly got out.

"Well that sucked dattebakon. . ." Satsuki deadpanned.

"Yup. . ." Naruto simply said in complete agreement.

"Hai. . ." Hinata got out, also in agreement.

"Its safe to assume that this is a regular occurrence?" Yami asked with very disappointed tone.

"Yes. . ." Every single rookie answered at the same time with a hint of sympathy for the now destroyed image the girl had for the Nara heir.

Within the darkness. . .

Sakura has still laying down on her bed. The girl haven't move a single inch other than to breath as she was in what looked like a deep sleep.

Then yellowish-green eyes slowly opened as they illuminated her room. ". . ." Nothing was said by the girl as she then looked at the blinking yellowish-green curse mark onto her hand, the light showing an emotionless expression.

When Sakura finally saw that the seals around her Curse Seal had completely disappeared stood up and began to head for were the other ROOT agents were last seen.

As the girl calmly walked towards her destination, not once did she said a word or sound. However, the air around her body had felt an ominous pressure that was nearly suffocating.

"Your awake." One of the ROOT agents declared more than asked in a emotionless.

"Have you finally seen what you are?" The second ROOT agent questioned.

Sakura had the same expressionless and emotionless expression as she gave her undivided attention to the ROOT members. Then after a moment the girl simply nodded and said nothing more.

This action was accepted by both ROOTs as they were accustomed to not show any emotion. "This is the last day we shall remain here." The first ROOT agent stated.

"We are to leave and report to Danzō-sama immediately." The second ROOT agent continued.

"Your order is to now wait, your escorts will come and to you so you can join our leader on a later date." The first concluded.

Sakura took a moment to processed this and gave a simple nod of understanding.

With that, both ROOT agents said nothing more and disappeared into the shadows, leaving the girl truly alone in the darkness.

". . ." Sakura said nothing as she stood in place, Then when a few moments later she began heading towards the training ground.

As she walked to her destination, Sakura's Curse Seal began to give off a very ominous glow, as if something inside was finally free.

Once she reached her destination, then expressionless look finally broke away as a cruel and vile smile adorned her face. . .

Somewhere in another land entirely. . .

Three figures came from deep inside of woods as each were getting ready to accomplish their mission or risk dying at the hands of their master from failing.

Good job but I am worried you made Sakra too overpowered for while I know their needs to be a challenge to the main the characters. I sometimes feel the changes are far too big for a girl that went from wimpy fan-girl to a psychotic, mini-Orochimaru power wise. For while I think you did a great job with Sakura's psyche to explain why she acting like, just her power is a bit too much I think. For it makes me question why doesn't Danzo and Orochimaru don't copy or try to create the same results on their men since they have no problems doing it for a slight power boost with a survival rate of 1 in 10.

*Sighs* I can understand where this is coming from, and I can see that it looks like we are overpowering Haruno, but just remember what Danzō and Orochimaru did to her. Danzō using the special seal that force accelerated her body to believe that her body was training more than it is, that will eventually place a strain on her body. Orochimaru meanwhile kept tempting her more and more with the Curse Mark's power, eating away at her original being. . .and let's just say the results won't be pretty in the end. . .

F2P: How about vomit inducing? -_- Besides, what those two did to Sakura would usually kill most people if not shatter their minds to a vegetative state, that's why they wouldn't just do it if the chance were near zero, Danzō IS the type of guy that WOULD sacrifice others, but not if it was worth it or gain more by doing so. Also it was her desire for power that let her survive the training, however she already lost most of her sanity because of it. Now then, here's my review and response from Savior of Six Paths.

Ok, I'm enjoying the story so far and everybody on this great site knows that there is a serious lack of female Sasuke stories but i'm a little confused as to why you don't want to write out the more "passionate" scenes for this story. I can see that this story is rated M and so I find myself confused whether the admins on this site will take down your story simply because you put a lemon, even though you have an M rating, or because you don't think you can write a lemon that does this story justice.

Ok. . .no bullshitting, no ranting, I'll be completely honest here. . .Yes we know that there are stories that had sex scenes when NarutoX(anyone) have it. But we just don't want to risk it, so like many had commented that if that makes us "cowards" then so be it. I mean, did you guys come for those scenes or for the story? I'm pretty sure it was the latter if not they wouldn't have been reading this fic for so long. And yes, it's just as you said, we don't really have enough experience as writers to write those scene to make them justice. So for now we're only willing to make perverted scenes and maybe even a few limes, but not completely M rated scenes.

JG: Yeah, this story is not like those porn stories basically, this story is mainly that, a story and there isn't anything you can do about it. Now that we got that out of the way, we all would like to ask you to wait from now on when it comes to upcoming new chapters as well as remastered ones.
