59. Chapter 59

Chapter 59: Encounters with the Fūma

At an old temple. . .

After the trio and the Toad Sage had finally escaped the bodyguards from the travelers town, they all decided to regroup inside the temple to discuss their next move.

Jiraiya placed a map of the land on the floor so that they could see it. "It seems that most bustling traveler's town in the Land of Rice is at the bottom of these mountains." He stated all the while pointing at taverns that were of the. . .adult kind.

"Are you sure that this is an appropriate investigation or are you simply wanting to go to this unique. . .taverns?" Hinata soon asked with a not so amused tone.

The Uchiha however had a frustrated expression on her face. "Ero-sennin. . .you. . .suck. . .dattebakon. . ." Satsuki breathed out in a annoyed and exhausted manner.

The blond in turn nodded to that. "Big time dattebayo. . ." Naruto got out in agreement.

However said pervert didn't seem affected or hurt by this. "I do understand your point, but there's no other way to find Otogakure." Jiraiya proclaim with a very fake serious tone.

The Hyuga in turn began tapping her foot to that and gain a suspicious look. "And you are sure about this. . .Ero-sennin?" Hinata then questioned in a very serious tone.

The white haired man then crossed his arms over his chest in a frustrated manner. "Gee, I don't like it either, but. . ." Jiraiya admitted with his tone sounding faker by the second.

The Uchiha however gave off a blank expression to that. "Will you quit lying already dattebakon." Satsuki stated in a deadpan tone.

"This is truly a problem. . ." Jiraiya continued while intentionally or not, completely ignored the trio.

"And we lost him. . ." Naruto mentally got out as the girls nodded in agreement to that.

"But we have to do things we don't like. . .right!?" Jiraiya soon asked with a bit too excitement in his voice

In unison, the trio let out a group sigh as they completely given up on trying to reason with the old pervert as it was simply a waste of energy and breath.

Then the group finally exited the temple, with the Toad Sage leading the way with a bit more enthusiasm in his step.

"Okay, let's go!" Jiraiya soon ordered. "Come you three! Don't drag your feet!" He then stated while his step began to gain a spring to it.

However the trio did not listen in the slightest as they simply followed the pervert without a hint of enthusiasm in both their steps or their faces.

All the while the Toad sage was actually skipping like a little girl. "Investigation, Investigation! What a pain~" Jiraiya complained with a near girlish tone.

"He's enjoying himself far too much dattebahi. . ." Hinata mumbled out in a slightly embarrassed tone, while the other two simply walk on with emotionless expressions.

Fūma Alley. . .

The group was left in complete shock at seeing the town, while it wasn't in almost in ruins like the last one, in fact if looked like a proper town, this one however looked much more. . .rough around the edges.

There were people punching other people just because they bumped into them, while there were others who actually pulled them into their store to literally beat the living daylights out of them and then stole everything on them, clothes and all.

"This is definitely rougher than the other town. . ." Naruto nervously to get out as he wasn't liking the town's ambient.

"Well. . .while does look rough around here and I know we can take anyone here, but. . ." Satsuki started in a hesitant manner as she was feeling the same as the blond.

"Ero-sennin said not to fight or not gain any attention to ourselves." Hinata finished friend's sentence as she nodded in agreement. "I believe that it would be best if we pass this area and go to much more. . .friendlier town to investigate." She then added.

However when the Toad Sage was strangely quiet, the trio turned to look at him and were a bit concerned, but when they look at what they his was looking at, they were a large signboard that had a very captivating picture of a woman blowing a heart.

In an instant the trio's face turn into annoyed ones while the perverted sage began chuckling pervertedly with glee. "Say. . " Jiraiya began to say with a bit more seriousness in his tone.

"Don't got any more money. . ." Naruto was quick to retort as he was completely out of money at the moment.

"Don't evey dare ask us for this. . ." Satsuki all but threaten as she had no intention of giving the pervert a single yen.

"Yes, I properly refuse to indulge this decision. . ." Hinata then concluded feeling the same as the ravenette..

"Here!" Jiraiya suddenly called out as he threw something at his godson.

The blond quickly caught the object in mid air and was honestly surprised to see it was a simple money pouch that was filled to the top with yen.

"You guys go get some food with that and wait in the temple on the outskirts of town." Jiraiya soon ordered with a surprisingly serious tone.

The trio however looked on at the pouch in a confused manner before looking at the white haired man once more.

"Information accumulates in this kind of place, but it's not good for you guys to see." Jiraiya then informed as he turned and began walking towards the town. "I'll sacrifice myself and check it out." He declared with a determine ton.

There was a brief moment of silence between the trio as if they were trying to process what the toad sage had told them.

"You know. . ." Naruto finally began to say as he was the first to come out of his slight daze and turn towards the girls. "If this town was an enemy village and didn't had that type of place. . .That speech would have sound pretty cool. . ." He then admitted with an honest yet deadpan tone.

The Hyuga in turn nodded in agreement to that. "Indeed, however. . ." Hinata started, but trailed off at the end.

The Uchiha however crossed her arms over her chest to that. "But it's not and he's not convincing anyone." Satsuki soon remarked with an annoyed tone.

Suffice to say, the three were not fooled by the Toad Sage's words, however they still decided to follow their orders as they wanted to rest a bit before going to the next location.

Meanwhile within Team Seven and Viper Squad home. . .

Kurama, Anko and Viper Squad members two younger members, who were doing light stretching, and the O trio were inside of the home's dojo.

"One, two, one, two. . ." Yami muttered out in a calm tone as she did her stretches which consisted in semi yoga stretches and her natural flexible body made it look easy.

Meanwhile the younger teen was trying to mimic her teammate. "One, one, two, two. . ." Nina repeated in a more childish manner, however it was more so just to mimic her friend than any form of stretches, which only made her seem more adorable as she did so, while the smaller animals were also trying to do the same but only resulted in some falling comedically.

As the human disguise of the fox Bijū tried to stand, he felt a wave of pain through his body. "Ugh. . ." Kurama groaned as he struggled with his eyes open, only to feel a hand against his chest.

The purple haired woman gave off a coy smile to that as she sat the disguised Bijū down against the edge. "Take it easy alright?" Anko got out in a kind tone as she turned and walked towards her team. "Alright, Yami, Nina, you two are going to be having a sparring match." Anko instructed.

Slightly surprised, the white-silverish haired girl looked at her young teammate that had her adorable expression on her face before turning back to her leader. "Very well." Yami replied with a nod as she slightly got her sword out and got ready to use take her kenjutsu stance.

"Sure!" Yami cheerfully got out while playfully swog her arms in a manner to get herself ready, while her little animal companions were doing their own preparations.

But before the group could continue, Anko then brought a hand up. "Hold up." She soon began as the two younger girls not only stop but also turn to look at her. "I want this sparing be you two girl's just fighting in taijutsu. So Yami, no kenjutsu and Nina, you won't be using Kurīchāmāji." She then revealed.

Yami let out a mild sigh at that as she simply let go of her sword and put it back on her sheath. "Very well. . ." She got out with small begrudgingly in her tone, she realized the reason behind this, so she decided to listen to her sensei.

This however shocked the young looking girl. "Eh!? Why!?" Nina exclaimed in confusion and disbelief while the O trio were letting out small animal cries to show their protest.

Anko in response to that sighed as she was expecting that reaction. "Because, while I know you can be strong when you fuse with one of them, I need to see how you are in a fight without Okki, Ora and Ori helping you." She soon enough explained

Nina in turn pouted in annoyance to that. "Boo~" She whined in a childlike manner while the O trio let out annoyed cries.

"Nina-chan, you have to understand the reason behind this." Yami got out in a softer tone while placing a hand on her shoulder.

"But. . .I alway fought Okki-chi, Ora-chi and Ori-chi Yami-chii. . ." Nina got out with a cute pout on her face.

This got an amused smile on the blue-silver haired teen. "Then let's just say it's our time to play, just the two of us. How does that sound?" Yami soon suggested trying to convince her younger teammates.

"Mmm. . ." Nina hummed out as she thought about it before she nodded with a big smile. "Ok Yami-oneechi." She soon replied as she turned towards her little friend. "I'll play with Onee-chi for a while guys!" She soon informed while waving to them.

While not initially happy about it, the O trio agreed with their big sister by giving slightly whiny calls before they ran to the side to get a good look at the match.

Nina soon enough turned back to the silver-blue haired girl. "Ok! Let's play Yami-oneechi!" She enthusiastically replied while nearly bouncing in place.

The slightly older girl simply shook her head amusingly at that. "We're ready." Yami called out to her sensei before taking her battle stance.

Nodding to that, Anko looked at the two intensely and raised her right hand and made a chop motion. "Begin." She ordered in a serious tone.

Not wasting a single moment, Nina instantly dashed forwards in all four of her limbs, while fast for someone her size, she wasn't anywhere near as fast as when she would fused with any of her animal friends.

"RAH!" Nina adorably roared out as she prepared her hands as if they were claws.

Yami easily dodged the incoming wild girl by side stepping away from her claws only hit the space that she last occupied. Then she tried a low kick to knock her out balance, however still using her heightened speed and reaction, the younger girl did a backflip to dodge the attack.

"Impressive dodging abilities. . ." Anko thought as she looked at her teammate.

"RAH!" Nina once again roared as she didn't waste a single second, the moment she landed on the floor, she lunged herself at her teammate.

Because of the close proximity, Yami didn't had the time dodge this time, so thinking fast she quickly lean backwards to dodge and just as the younger girl flew over her, she grabbed her by the clothes, placed her feet on her and finally let gravity do the rest of the work for her.

Nina was sent flying straight towards the wall, but she wasn't about to let that happen as she adjusted herself to land on the wall, latching onto it as a result. "Hehe~ Nya~!" She playfully giggled out.

Both Anko and Yami were left momentary surprised at seeing that, they knew that the little girl would've been fine, but they didn't saw the girl landing on the wall like that. While the O trio let out cheering in the form of animal cries.

The slightly bored Bijū meanwhile was also slightly surprised by this as well. "What you know. . .the little runt instinctively knows how to do the tree climbing jutsu." Kurama commented out loud as he was pretty sure that the purple haired woman didn't taught her that basic jutsu.

"Me, Okki-chi and Ora-chi climb climb a lot of trees!" Nina declares with glee as she then literally blasted herself off the wall, straight at her sparring partner. "GAO!" She soon roared with her hands out.

Yami instantly reacted by making a small twirl spin, just in time to dodge the mini human projectile. However the moment the little girl passed her, she adjusted her footing and dashed forward, then just before he wild girl was about to land on the floor, she grabbed her by the hood of her jacket.

This sudden hold stopped Nina from landing on the ground as her limbs were sent forward. "WAH!" She yelped out as she was then pulled back and her eyes widened in fright.

"Gotcha Nina-chan." Yami got out as she directed the pull downwards in an attempt to slam on the girl onto the floor.

WHOOSH. . .

However instead of a sound of a body hitting the floor, it was only the sound of the jacket was the one to hit.

"!?" Yami's eyes immediately widened in shock. "What the!?" She got out in confusion.

"GAO!" Nina's roared got out from above the silver-blue haired girl.

"Tricky little bugger." Kurama couldn't help but remark in amusement as he saw that the little wild girl instantly got out the jacket off and then used the momentum of the pull to fling upwards.

"Guess that's it for the match." Anko got out as she prepared to end it, but. . .

Kurama however raised a hand to that. "Hold on." He stated in a serious tone.

"RAH!" Nina roared with intensity as she swung down her hands to slash.

Yami knew that she wasn't going to dodge it in time so all she could do was close her eyes and use her hands to block to minimus the hit.

WHOOSH. . .

"?" Yami waited for a hard strike, but only felt a minor strike that didn't cause that much damage if at all. She slowly opened her eyes only to see young appearing girl on the floor while panting heavily.

"Nina tired. . ." Nina mumbled out as she placed her hands on her knees. "Yami-neechi strong." She then got out.

Yami was left speechless at seeing the tired girl that she didn't even reacted when the O trio rushed passed her and looked on their big sister with concerned expressions.

The purple haired kunoichi let out a sigh at the display. "Well it should've been obvious." Anko muttered to herself as she smiled sadly.

Kurama merely look on with a slight deadpan expression. "Yup. . .it's probably because whenever she fuses her physical strength is easily triples, so because of that she only knows how to use chakra to enhance her speed and reflexes, and not her actual physical body." The disguised Bijū informed with a slight bore tone.

Anko merely nodded in agreement. "Yeah, looks like Nina has been over relying on using her power with the little runts that she wouldn't know how to fight like a human." She added on.

Then the human disguised Bijū turn his gaze towards the kunoichi. "You're either going to have to teach her to fight like a human or you can help her refine how she fights now by teaching her how to enhance her body, with physically training or with chakra." Kurama then stated in own serious tone.

This caused the older kunoichi to look at him with a deadpan expression. "Pretty sure you know it's useless to teach her to fight like a human, given her unique abilities." Anko then admitted.

The Bijū then just smirked and shrugged his shoulders. "Was just saying the possible things you can do is all." Kurama casually replied.

"Yeah right. . ." Anko retorted with a deadpan tone as she looked her squad. "Alright, that's enough!" She called out in a serious tone as she stood up and walked over to the two.

Yami soon snapped out of her confused state as she leaned down and offered a hand to the panting younger girl, which she accepted and was pulled up back on her feet as the two walked back towards their sensei.

"Well if anything, I think her stamina and condition will need to improve. . ." Anko thought to herself with a clear disappointment in her tone.

The older kunoichi knew that the little terror was very strong when she uses her unique power as she briefly saw them during their first encounter. However she now knew that the young appearing girl had been overly dependent on them, which resulted in letting her natural skills and abilities to rot.

The purple haired girl soon sighed as she looked at the wild child. "Nina, I'm going to be blunt on this and say that you need a lot of training, more especially when not fused." Anko revealed in a serious tone as she crossed her arms over her chest.

This in turn caused the young brunette to blink a couple of times as she tilted her head and then her eyes widen to comedic size. "Eh~!?" Nina replied in confusion

Meanwhile the O trio let out cries of indignation at that as they made it very vocal, for little animals that is, of their displeasure of the very inaccurate assessment towards their big sister.

At all this barking caused the special Jonin to sigh as she pretty much knew why they were so grouchy. "Nina. . .you're having trouble breathing right now and Yami isn't. What does that tell you?" Anko soon asked.

The little girl's breath suddenly halted as if trying to hide that fact. "Umm. . ." Nina got out as she crossed her arms over her chest and slightly tilted her head. "Mmmmm. . ." She hummed out before she couldn't hold in her breath and once again began to pant.

This made Anko to let out another sigh. "See?" She stated more than ask with a slight serious tone.

Nina instantly frowned sadly, thinking that she didn't do anything worthwhile and fear began to slowly filled her at the thought that they wouldn't want her anymore.

Feeling their big sis's sadness made the O trio just as sad while Okki let out a low growl at the older kunoichi for making Nina feel that way.

However before these thoughts could continue, Yami placed a hand on the young girl's head making her look at her. "I don't think that Sensei is just saying that you did horrible or bad in our match." She soon revealed.

"?" Nina and the O trio blinked to that as she and her little friends looked at the white/silver haired girl

The purple haired special Jonin in turn smiled contently and nodded to that. "That's right, you were actually very impressive with you speed, agility and reaction speed." Anko then praised before a smirk graced her face. "Not to mention you already know how to use chakra to enhance your natural skills and you even know how to use the tree climbing technique way better than most genin, that's some talent." She soon revealed.

Nina's sadness and confusion instantly disappeared and was replaced by a large happy smile. "Really?" She soon asked.

The purple haired woman merely nodded to that. "Yup, in a few years time you'll be a force to be reckoned, with proper training that is." Anko then concluded with a teasing tone at the end.

Nina's grin immediately widened to that. "Ok!" She enthusiastically declared.

"Arf! Arf!" Okki barked out with an annoyed tone. "Hey! Don't forget us!" Was what barked out.

"Meow meow nya~" Ora meowed out. "We will always be there to help you." Was what she meowed out.

"Chirp! Chip!" Ori chirped out with excited enthusiasm. "Help you! Help you!" Was what she chirped out.

The purple haired jonin merely smirked to this. "Well, it looks like your pals all are up for it." Anko then pointed out.

"And I'll help you out as well." Yami added as images of her past that let to now briefly appeared on her mind. "You're not alone. . ." She declared to both her friend and herself.

While not knowing the secret meaning of those words, Nina smiled turn even more brighter as she was very happy to be in this team.

"So?" Anko suddenly asked as she gains the younger kunoichi's attention. "You two ready for some serious training?" She then asked with a slight sadistic grin on her face.

To that, the younger looking girl nodded frantically as she then thrust her fist on the air. "Yeah!" Nina replied with enthusiasm, while the O trio join the cheering as they jumped and flew around their big sis.

Kurama however sweatdropped to the girl's excitement. "Poor sap, she's going to regret it when she experience Anko-chan's sadistic training. . ." He thought to himself.

Anko's smirk then widened as she gained a gleam in her eyes. "Oh. . .this is gonna be fun." She thought to herself with a slight sadistic tone.

Within the Inuzuka residence. . .

It had been a few hours since the kunoichi on probation had settled in the compound, while it did take some time to get both get familiarized with the areas, it took even more time for the other members of the clan to be aware of the kunoichi's situation.

While most clan members didn't care much about it, however some didn't like it at all as she was a kunoichi from the former snake sannin, but they begrudgingly had to put up with it, especially if it was orderswere from both the Hokage and their clan head.

After showing to most important areas, things had calmed a bit the younger shinobi's sat down on the table as they decided to get a bite to eat, to which it was mostly meat with some veggies on the side.

Kiba looked at the dark pink haired girl on the other side of the table as they both sat down. "So. . .how you like the place?" He soon asked as a sleeping Akamaru sat on his lap, lightly snoring all the while.

As Tayuya was eating her food, her eyes narrowed from being interrupted, then she let out a sigh as she looked back at the boy. ". . .It's fine kid. . ." Tayuya responded before she thought about her time training with the now rogue kunoichi. "Better than being stuck underground for weeks." She then admitted before she resumed eating.

However the young Inuzuka didn't quite understood the meaning behind those words as he looked on with a confused expression. "I'm guessing that's a good thing?" Kiba asked with a confused yet awkward tone.

Tayuya merely rolled her eyes as she should have expected that. ". . .Basically. . ." She simply said as confirmation.

"Oh. . .cool." Kiba got out while rubbing the back of his head.

"Yeah. . ." Tayuya simply replied as she tapped the plate roughly, though not enough to shattered it, only to make a loud noise. "Cool." She then repeated with an obviously sarcastic tone.

Then there was a long awkward silence between the two, though the dark pink haired kunoichi was eating with a bit more force, which made it very clear that she didn't want to be bothered.

"Well this isn't getting me anywhere. . ." Kiba thought to himself as he all but giving up on trying to have a conversation and began stuffing his own food on his mouth.

Then after a few moments of silent, Tayuya suddenly stop eating as she lowered her eating utensils and gain a contemplate expression. "Hey. . .can I asked you a question Kiba?" She suddenly asked.

This cheered Kiba up as he thought that the kunoichi finally wanted to start a conversation. "Like I haven't already ask like twenty. . ." Kiba remarked with his usual cheerful tone. "I think that you have the right for at least one." He then joked while grinning.

However the attempted joke failed as Tayuya looked at the boy with a very serious expression. ". . .why did you save me?" She soon asked.

To the sudden serious question, Kiba was taken aback as he did not think that the girl would ask that of all things.

However Tayuya then looked intently at the boy across from her. "You and I both know that I wasn't planning on coming out of that fight alive." She reminded with a dead serious tone. "So why did you risk not just your mutt, but the lives of your teammates to save me, an enemy." She then asked with narrowed eyes.

Instead of being nervous or confused, the young Inuzuka just gave a deadpan expression. "Wow. . .everyone just loves to keep interrogating me with that same question. . ." Kiba muttered to himself than to the girl with a clear hint of annoyed in his tone tone.

Suffice to say, Tayuya heard that and gained a very irritated expression that promised pain and suffering.

Upon seeing this caused Kiba to let out a sigh. "Not to sound like a jerk or an ass, but it really starting to get annoying to have to answer the same thing over and over again. . ." He stated in an irritated tone, which made the kunoichi narrowed her eyes, however, he raised his hand to stop her from interrupting her. "But I'll say it one last time, because I think, aside from my leader, teammates and family, you do have a right to know." He then admitted.

The reply however manage to calm the fury from the dark pink haired teen as lean back on her chair. "Well. . .?" Tayuya asked once more as she crossed her arms over her chest.

The young Inuzuka took a deep breath as he closed his eyes, then he began to recalled their fight once more and all the emotions he felt during the final part of their fight. "I. . .just didn't wanted to see you kill yourself like that." Kiba soon confessed.

This however caused the dark pink haired girl to blink in confusion to that. "What?" Tayuya in turn asked.

It was then that Kiba reopen his eyes and looked straight at the girl. "Not going to lie, I felt really bad when I found out that the cool girl that I met was an enemy." He admitted. "I mean I finally found someone that actually thought I was cool and didn't put me down on a regular basis like most of my female friends do." He then stated.

The dark pink haired girl however rolled her eyes to that. "You do realize I was lying about the whole thing right?" Tayuya soon reminded.

Kiba could help but let out a chuckle at that. "Well I know that now. . ." He joked without a hint of spite in his tone as he smiled contentedly. "It still felt good. . ." He then confessed again without any insinuation of romantic or sexual undertone.

Tayuya in turn to hearing that merely looked on in confusion, not knowing what to say to that.

However it was then the Inuzuka gained a more serious expression. "But I was a shinobi first, so knowing that I had to fight or my teammates could've die if I didn't, I was willing to fight and kill you, even if I didn't want to." Kiba declared with complete honesty.

This immediately caused Tayuya to raise an eyebrow as she knew that was what most shinobi's would do, which it completely contradicts what he tried to do at the end. "Then. . .why did you tried to save me then?" She once more asked.

"Why? Huh. . ." Kiba soon started as he began to think it over. "Well, even if I had to take you down, I thought that maybe deep down I could just stop you and you would live. Probably just wishful thinking." He then admitted in an awkward manner.

This in turn caused the kunoichi gain a deadpan expression. "I think that was you were being delusional." Tayuya then got out.

"Yeah, I think so too." Kiba replied in agreement with an amused chuckle. "But. . ." He then started, but trailed off at the end.

"But?" Tayuya repeated in the form of a question.

"But that all change when I Shikamaru told me that you wanted to die. . ." Kiba revealed in a more serious tone as he narrowed his eyes.

". . ." Tayuya in turn said nothing to that as she turned to the side and remained silent.

"Pretty sure that helped me snap my diluted self back to reality." Kiba soon got out. "So when I realized that it didn't matter that you I sort off, gave up. . ." He soon confessed.

That reveal in turn got the girl's attention. ". . .You gave up. . .?" Tayuya repeated in a neutral tone as she looked at the boy.

The dark pink haired teen wasn't confused because the Inuzuka had gave up, it was the fact that, even in his delusion and her turning into something from the fires of hell, he actually still wanted to save her and only when he found out she wanted to die that he finally admitted defeat, that was the reason she just couldn't understand.

". . .Yeah." Kiba soon replied with a calm manner, though it did have a little regretful in his tone, showing that he still felt horrible that he did so.

Once again, the kunoichi wasn't offended just confused. "So then why did ya do it? What changed?" Tayuya bluntly asked.

This in turn got the boy attention. "What change. . .?" Kiba repeated in the form of a question as he petting the sleeping puppy and grinned. "Well I have the best partner in the world, because he knows when to slam some sense of me, or bite it." He began listing off while said partner let out a small raspy chuckle. "Yeah laugh it up buddy. . ." He then remarked in slight annoyance.

Tayuya meanwhile just look as she stayed silent as the boy and his partner interacted.

Then the Inuzuka looked to the side while having a more determine expression. "And well, after that, saving you was all I could think about." Kiba soon admitted.

The dark pink haired girl however narrowed her eyes towards him. "It also better not be that you were thinking with your-" Tayuya then began in a more accusing tone, however. . .

SLAM!

Kiba suddenly slammed his hand on the table, causing his partner to jumped up from his sleep and making everyone in the room to look at the Inuzuka with annoyed expression. "I wasn't, especially when its about someone's life. . ." She stated in an annoyed yet serious tone as he glared at the girl.

Though continued to glaring, Tayuya soon calmed herself down when she saw that the boy was serious. "Good." She simply retorted as she crossed her arms, while making sure not to show that she was somewhat impressed.

Taking a deep breath to relax, Kiba also calmed down as he gave small apologies to the people around him. "Anyways. . .I just wanted to prove that I could be just as much as a hero as Naruto always claims to be. . ." Kiba soon added with a slight annoyed tone, thought it was very apparent that it was more so out of jealousy and a hint of admiration.

Not wanting to get involved in this little drama, the small puppy decided to leave them alone. "He does realize that he sounds jealous when he said that right? Probably not." Akamaru thought to himself while letting a raspy chuckle.

". . .You mean that idiot blondie with the harem?" Tayuya bluntly asked with a raised eyebrow.

Kiba couldn't help but facefaulted at that as he couldn't deny it. "Yeah. . .He's the guy. . ." He then added in an awkward manner. "But anyways, that's it. I just wanted to help, nothing more, nothing less." He soon concluded.

The dark pink haired girl then looked at the boy. ". . ." At first she said nothing as she processed all this information of why he had saved her. "Alright. . ." She soon enough responded.

"Alright. . .? That's it?" Kiba then questioned.

"I don't care for your reason, just wanted to know." Tayuya soon replied.

". . ." Kiba could only look on with half closed eyes as he recalled the kunoichi's personality. "Well I wasn't expecting much, but I thought she would say thanks at least. . ." He then muttered to himself.

This made Tayuya let out an annoyed sigh as she briefly stop eating and looked at the Inuzuka. "Thanks. . .now let me eat in peace." She remarked with a less than sincere tone before she attempted to continue eating, however, she realized that her plate was already, which made her use her fingers to tap the table.

The sudden taping snapped the Inuzuka back to reality as the motion of her fingers made him recalled something. "Also. . ." He soon stated.

This caused Tayuya to let out an exasperated sigh. "Now what. . .?" She thought to herself as she pretty much had enough heart to heart talk.

". . .Sorry we destroyed your flute." Kiba soon got out in an apologetic manner.

Whatever Tayuya thought the Inuzuka would say, that was not it. "!?" She could say nothing as she was left startled and her eyes were almost fully open.

"You know, spur of the battle moment." Kiba then added.

". . .Whatever. . ." Tayuya got out as she stared at her empty plate.

"Was it. . .something important?" Kiba soon asked in concern.

"Whether or not it was, it not any of your business. . ." Tayuya responded in a dark tone that meant she would viciously hurt the younger teen if he continued this.

While the young Inuzuka wouldn't be one of the most brightests when it comes to the female gender, even he knew when there are somethings people do not want to talk about. "R-Right. . .never mind then." He got out before calming himself down. "Also, my mom told me we're gonna be sleeping in the same room as well." He then informed.

The dark pink haired girl's eye twitched immediately to hearing as she gained a scowl on her face. "Great." Tayuya bluntly replied with a clear disdain about the decision, not that she had much choice in the matter.

To that, Kiba let out a small sigh. "Don't worry. . .I'll make sure you get your own space. . ." He stated with a not so happy tone that was equal to the kunoichi's. "And for the record I don't like it as much as you do." He quickly stated his own dismay at the situation. "Well I better go and clean it up for ya, I'll take the floor." He soon informed in a more depressed tone.

Tayuya simply place her hand on her cheek and lean slightly forward. "Yeah. . .you go do that. . ." She then boringly got out.

Kiba meanwhile sighed to that. "I get that you hate me for saving you," He then stated, though didn't look at the dark pink haired girl. "But. . .I don't regret saving you for a second." He soon enough concluded.

"Hey. . ." Tayuya could out with a slightly forceful tone as she watched him walk away. "The matter of you saving me or not, or that I wanted to die doesn't matter now. But it's still my life, so you better not think you can decide for me." She then declared with a clear tone that he should not get involved in such a decision ever again.

Suffice to say, the young Inuzuka was not happy at that and realized that this girl was more of a bitch that he initially thought as it was apparent she was never going to say thank you for saving her life. With one last sigh, he soon turned around the corner and when to get the room read.

The dark pinked haired girl also narrowed her eyes to this as she looked to the side and frown. "But I'm not planning on dying for the time being. . ." Tayuya soon stated as she stood up and decided to get a bit more to eat.

At hearing that, Kiba couldn't help but smile as he couldn't help but think that it was the kunoichi's ways of saying thank you. So with a grin on his face he when on to his room with a slightly cheerful spirits.

Back in the Land of Rice Fields. . .

The trio were taking their time heading back to the temple while they began thinking what their next plan of action would be.

"You know, I think it was actually for the best to leave the Ero-sennin back there." Satsuki soon admitted. "Best for our sanity to be as far away from him when his like that." She then added.

"Tell me about it. . ." Naruto got out in agreement with a deadpan tone. "Being with him just a month and you'll be wanting to smash your head dattebayo. . ." He then remarked as he took a bite of his food he had bought before exiting the town.

Hinata meanwhile had a more worrisome expression. "However the main issue is where do we start our search. . .?" She then concluded.

This simple question halted all idle chatter from the other two members of Team Seven as they too had no clue before then as one, they all sighed and slightly dropped their heads.

"Yeah. . .our opponent is Orochimaru. . .he's not someone that we can just easily find and even less that things might go easy even if we do find him. . ." Naruto stated with a somber tone.

"And we don't exactly have the skills to fight someone like him yet. . ." Hinata then reminded.

"And we're still trying to figure out what we're gonna do next." Satsuki also reminded in a more frustrated tone.

"But I'm sure we'll still find him!" Naruto soon admitted. "And besides, even if Ero-sennin is a massive perv, he still strong enough to be able to fight the snake pedo!" He then declared in an encouraging tone.

This in response caused the Hyuga and Uchiha heiresses to giggle in amusement from their blond fiancé's optimism.

"Yeah, we know that the old perv does have the skills to back up his annoying boasting." Satsuki agreed about the Toad Sage with a teasing tone.

Hinata couldn't help but let out another giggle. "Despite being the self proclaimed Super Pervert, he's still one of the Sannin. . .though no one would really realize it." She then reminded as she also agreed with the Toad Sage's skills as an elite shinobi.

However before they could continued praising their favorite Sannin. . .

Suddenly a small masked person with an orange haired ponytail suddenly appeared in front of the road. The trio was left startled but quickly got into their stances, the Hyuga took her Gentle fist stance, while the normally armed shinobi's took their usual unarmed stances

Sensing the hostilities, the masked shinobi narrowed their eyes and tried to gain some distance, while taking out a kunai. However before they could do anything, their body shook and fell to their knees while wincing in pain.

Seeing this, Naruto was left confused, but then smelled a hint of blood, causing him to lower his stance. "Wait, I think he's injured." He suddenly started with a hint of concern.

About hearing that, Hinata quickly activated her Byakugan and to locate the shinobis injury and then deactivated her bloodline. "His right, he's got an injury on his shoulder." She soon informed.

When the ravenette heard that she slightly lowered her guard, but didn't drop it. "Ok, but we don't know if he's an enemy." Satsuki then reminded as she didn't want to risk it,

However before they could thing what to do next. . .

WHOOSH!

Suddenly trios instincts scream at them as they felt an incoming assault.

"SCATTER!" The trio exclaimed in unison as they all quickly moved out of the way, while the blond shinobi grabbed the injured shinobi to get them out of harm's way just as a barrage of kunai knives struck the ground where they stood.

Then the trio quickly took to the tree's to gain some leverage to escape,

However that notion quickly ended when two blurs appeared out of the forest. One of them appeared to be bald and usage of one eye as the other was scarred with spider like limbs. Meanwhile with the other, he was a short black haired man as he had a scissor pincer strapped to his arm.

The girls blocked and dodged the attacks from the bald enemy thanks to their kunais, it was a bit easier as they still manage to use their numbers to be able to avoid his attacks. If one would had been attacked, the other would use their speed to get the other out of the way.

Naruto meanwhile wasn't having a great time, he could just as easily be able to counter that shinobi, but having to do so while carrying an injured shinobi wasn't making it any easier. However he still managed to dodge the attacks as they were much slower than the regular enemies he would normally face.

But the trio in unison were very irritated that they couldn't use any of their usual moves or weapons to end the fight, however they still remembered that they didn't want to reveal themselves in their investigation. The trio then got the same expressions as they got the same idea, then with a mental nod they got ready.

At that moment, the two enemies charged at the trio.

To this, the Uchiha smirked as she noticed this. "Three. . ." Satsuki soon began counting off.

"Two. . ." Hinata continued as she saw them getting closer.

"One. . ." Naruto continued as he saw them closing in.

"NOW!" The trio declared in unison, then in perfect unison the trio turned and also charge at the enemy shinobi with seemingly reckless abandonment.

At first the two were momentarily surprised by this sudden action, but quickly recovered, the bald one struck the two kunoichi by the throat, however the moment he did a kunai nearly cut his little shinobis which easy to say gave him a bit of a fright. Meanwhile while the knife wielding shinobi was about swing his weapon, but the grinning blond spat right onto his eye, he screamed in pain before he slice the teen in half.

The enemies shinobis in turn let out a satisfying grin killing everyone before. . .

POOF! POOF! POOF!

All of the bodies of the younger shinobi's vanished in a pile of smoke and wood hit the ground.

"Fuck!" The black haired enemy cursed as he rubbed his stinging eye as he looked at the slice woods. "The Substitution Jutsu, they got away!" He then stated in a serious yet annoyed tone.

Suddenly from beneath the ground, another shinobi came out as he let out an amused chuckle.

"Don't worry. . ." The bald one suddenly said as he was on the tree. "My cute children are making a sliver trail for us. They can't escape from us now. . ." He stated with a slightly creepy manner as many small spiders began creeping out of his arm.

Nodding to that, the black haired man looked at the destroyed logs. "Those three, they must've been shinobis from across the border." He deducted as he then smirked. "They got some nerve coming into this land." He then remarked in an amusement.

Then both the shinobi that came from the ground and the bald one let out creepy chuckles.

However the long hair shinobi didn't looked amused as he finished cleaning his eye. "Those three didn't look and move like simple genin." He then pointed out. "But they sealed their fate for both getting involved with us and making me angry." He soon declared.

"How unfortunate. . ." The one in the ground remarked with a very sarcastic tone.

"I also have to pay their insult as well. . ." The black haired man then stated with a not so amused tone, before he gained an evil smirk. "Regardless, their objective of any who would dare to sneak into this land is most likely Orochimaru-sama." He soon deducted.

Then the three enemy shinobi let out an eerie chuckle as they vanished with a gale of leaves, multiple strands of spider webs could be seen on the trees as they all where heading in the same direction.

Back in town. . .

At one of the most adult theme areas of the town, a very familiar yet equally annoying chuckle could be heard echoing from inside one of the shops.

And sure enough, we see none other than to Toad Sage enjoying his time with two host woman. One was a skinny short haired while the other was a chubby one. "Sure enough, the skin of young woman is supple." Jiraiya commented with a perverted tone as he gently patted the chubby hostess.

"You're mean!" The chubby hostess got out with an embarrassed tone.

"Eh? Oh, sorry, sorry." Jiraiya quickly got out and apologized for his comment. "By the way, have you pretty girls heard any rumors about the Sound Village?" He then asked, trying to subtly changing the conversation to his true objective.

"The Sound Village?" One of the hostesses repeated.

"I've never heard the name of such a village." The other got out.

"I'll tip you handsomely if you tell me." Jiraiya soon offered.

At the sight of all the bills, the two hostess were left delighted, however, that only lasted a moment. "But I really don't know." One of then hostesses once more informed with a saddened tone..

"I've never heard of it." The other then got out with a regretful yet honest tone.

While they would try to trick the old man for his money, they knew if he was that rich, then they wouldn't dare to try anything to get in trouble. They didn't last this long in this line of business if they weren't careful after all.

The Toad Sage let out a slight frustrated groan, he knew it would be difficult to find information, but he really hoped he would get that lucky break. "Sometimes I wonder if I should bring the gaki. . .he has that luck of the kamis for anything. . ." Jiraiya couldn't help but think that, but quickly dismissed it as he tried to think what he should do next.

"I've heard of it!" Another female voice got out.

The sudden voice instantly got the Sage and the two hostess's attention as they looked at the booth next to them and saw it was another hostess that had said that.

"One of my regulars knows a lot about it." She then revealed. "Want to come?" She offered in an alluring tone.

The Toad Sage stood up and couldn't help but grin and nodded in agreement.

At a deserted back alley. . .

"His home is in the back of this alley." The hostess then informed.

"Oh. . ." Jiraiya got out as he calmly walked into the alley and began to feel the woman began backing away. "Wow. . .if this isn't the definition of a trap, I'll give up my perverted ways. . ." He then thought to himself.

CLACK!

And as if to confirm his bet, the entrance of the alley was shut by many wooden plates.

"Figures. . ." Jiraiya thought with a deadpan tone as he felt the presence of many enemies on the upper sides of the alley.

"Trapped like a rat."

"What, it's a seedy old man!" Hey! He's got money, right?"

And somehow the same hostess was now standing next to the two men. "Yeah. I saw it with my own eyes."

"You punks! Stop the idle chatter and take care of him now!"

"Right, boss!" One of the bandits replied in an eager manner.

Then as one, every single bandit began to draw out their bows and arrows, getting ready to shoot them at the Toad Sage.

Even though the Toad Sage was completely surrounded, he never looked concern, in fact he looked more annoyed than anything else. "Why can't I ever find a nice lady that honestly want to hang out with me and not try to take my money. . .?" Jiraiya thought with great irritation while eyeing every single enemy.

"Getting infatuated with girls has sealed your fate! Rest in peace!" The bandit leader declared in a confident manner.

As one, all of the bow wielding bandits sent a barrage of arrows at the seemingly doomed older man. Then as the arrows continued their direction, the toad sage's long hair began to move as it was alike until. . .

CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!

The sound of the arrows hitting steel soon echoed, then Jiraiya's extended his arm to effortlessly grab the last arrow.

This sudden turn of events deeply shocked not only the leader but the rest of the bandits as they couldn't believe what they just saw.

"Ninja Art: Needle Jizoō!" Jiraiya declared as his hair suddenly grew twice, even triple in size as it surrounded his body, making something akin to a large body armor.

"You punk. . ." The leader of the bandits was left even more in shock as he realized what this could mean.

SNAP!

With only a slightly tighter grip, the toad sage snap the arrow in half. "I'm in a hurry. . ." Jiraiya began to say with a no nonsense tone while his hair return to normal size. "I think it'd be best if you answer compliantly whether or not you know about the Hidden Sound Village." He then suggested with clear threatening undertone in his voice.

"You're a fool if I look like a compliant person to you!" The bandit leader stated as he narrowed his eyes. "You're a shinobi?" He then declared.

"What if I am?" Jiraiya simply countered.

"Interesting!" The bandit leader remarked in an intriguing manner. "We've reduced ourselves to being thieves,but we're a somewhat famous Shinobi clan around here!" He then revealed.

Jiraiya was unphased by this statement.

"Instead of taking your life, I could hire you if you want!" The bandit leader then offered in a confident manner.

"A shinobi, huh?" Jiraiya soon started as he suddenly became incredibly serious. "Then I don't need to go easy on you." He then declared.

"D-Don't be acting like a big shot, old man!" One of the bandits got out.

"SHUT IT YOU SQUIRT!" Jiraiya loudly demanded in disgust.

"!?" Every single member of the bandits were left completely baffled and even terrified by the old man's sudden scream that held so much power.

"A shinobi refers to one who endures. Those who couldn't endure their hunger and resort to using their diligently studied jutsu for stealing can never be called shinobi!" Jiraiya then declared in a proud tone.

"I won't let that pass!" One of the thieves shouted with indignation. "Thinking we're fellow shinobi, we took pity on you. Acting all conceited!" He ordered as he then pulled out his huge butcher like blade. "Regret it after being sliced in two!" He then declared as leaped towards the old man with his blade ready to kill.

Jiraiya however was once again unphased as he was already conjuring a Rasengan on his right hand.

"Fūma shinobi Blade Zanbato!" The Bandit Leader declared.

CLANG!

However the Bandit Leader only struck the ground, leaving him completely open as the Toad Sage had almost appearing right next to him with his jutsu already in position near his stomach.

"RASENGAN!" Jiraiya roared as he thrust his hand forward, causing the bandit's eyes to widen in pure shock as he was sent flying backwards.

CRASH!

The rest of the bandits could do nothing but look on as their leader was flying passed them. The force of the jutsu was so strong and potent that when the bandit was sent crashing towards the blanks that closed the alley left a perfect human shape hole onto it.

"You punk! How dare you do that to the boss!" One of the bandits got out in anger.

"We won't let you do any more than that!" Another bandit declared in a furious manner.

"Oh?" Jiraiya got out somewhat surprised at the bandits moral, he was sure that after seeing such a sight of their boss being easily defeated would had cost the rest to give up.

"Hold it, you guys!" The Bandit Leader got out.

CRASH!

Once the leader destroyed the rest of the wooden barrier with a mighty burst of strength, he proceeded to reenter the alley and look at the Toad Sage in a stare down manner. The alley was once again filled with a powerful pressure, as if waiting for the next clash.

However what happened next was not what the Toad Sage was expecting. . .

TAP!

The Bandit Leader suddenly was on his hands and knees and bow his head low as he possibly could. "I didn't know you were so good!" He soon declared in a fear and respect filled manner

This in immediate response caused the Toad Sage to raise an eyebrow to this sudden change in attitude.

"That jutsu just now. . ." The Bandit Leader started. "I sense you must be a person of stature!" He stated while raising his head. "If it's all right, may I ask you your name?" He soon requested.

As if a switch had been flip, the Toad Sage's expression turn to one of completely vanity and grinded widenly. "If you don't know, then I shall tell you!" Jiraiya suddenly started as he took his signature hand pose. "Women become infatuated with his sex appeal. He's strong against shinobi, bus has a soft spot for women! He exists in the village hidden of the leaves. . .And made his name known. . ." He soon stated in an overly proud and narcissus tone.

Every single bandit present was left completely baffled and stupified as their brains just couldn't comprehend what their eyes were seeing, however they simply couldn't take off their eyes off the crazy old man.

"It is I! The Great Toad Sage, Master Jiraiya~!" The white haired man soon passionately revealed in a proud manner.

The Bandit Leader's eyes however soon widen in fear and shock at realizing who the man was. "WHAT!?" He exclaimed as he turned to his men. "You guys bow your head and beg for your lives!" He got out while bowing his head. "We'll all be killed!" He ordered in a panicked manner.

While the rest of the bandits didn't know the Toad Sage, they instantly knew that they were in great danger if their own leader declared something like that, so without wasting a single second they all when down on all fours and lowered their heads as well.

"Although we didn't know, being so rude to Jiraiya-sama, reputed as one of the Legendary Sannin of Konoha! We beg for your forgiveness!" The Bandit Leader soon declared in the same fear filled manner while begging for his life.

"So my name's known in this land, too. . ." Jiraiya thought to himself as he then smirked. "Oh yes! This is how I should always be seen by my greatness! Oh how I wish those gakis could see this!" He mentally declared. "Well, it's okay. So is it true that you know about the Sound Village Otogakure?" He then questioned.

"Yes! There were many shinobi clans in the Land of Rice, including us of the Fūma Clan." The Bandit Leader revealed. "We divided up the roles amongst ourselves and the shinobi of this land were doing well in their own way." He then explained. "Until that man appeared. . ." He soon began in a grim manner.

The Toad Sage's expression turned into on of startlement at hearing that. "Who was that man?" Jiraiya quickly asked as he already knew who it was.

Shamefully the Fuma shinobi gained fear filled expression on his face. "It's regrettable to even speak of that name. . ." He began as he shivered in terror. "It was Orochimaru!" He soon declared.

Back at the temple. . .

After a few minutes, the Team Seven trio managed to get back to their last place that they rested. While it wasn't the best place, it would serve the purpose of both hiding and planning their next course of action.

The blond shinobi was looking from the door, checking if they were followed, while the ravenette was also near him, ready to give back up if need be. Meanwhile the bluenette was keeping an eye on the mask shinobi with a concerned expression on their face.

"Hey, easy! You're going to get your injuries worse." Satsuki tried to reason.

"Yes, I have ointment, it may not be enough to fully heal your injury, but it would be better than nothing." Hinata then revealed as she took the container out of her pouch.

Whether the mask shinobi believed the trio or not, they knew that their injuries should be taken care off quickly. However they still looked hesitant and even a bit scared.

Upon seeing this, the bluenette was left confused, but after quickly thinking it over her eyes widen as she realized something. "Naruto-kun, can you please step outside, I need to apply some medicine to the victim." Hinata requested followed by the explanation.

"Huh? Why's that?" Naruto asked in confusion.

"It's something only me and Satsuki-chan can do." Hinata revealed while making sure to emphasise the need for only the two of them to be the only ones here.

The Uchiha meanwhile blinked in slight confusion before looking at the masked shinobi as her eyes widen in realization. "Oh! Yeah, Nata-chan right about this one." Satsuki soon informed.

"?" Naruto could only look at the way the two girls were looking at him, then look at the slightly concerned expression of the mask shinobi, it took a few moments before his eyes slightly widened. "Ooooh~" He got out as he finally realized what it meant.

Smiling happily at the blond realizing the meaning, the ravenette simply nodded. "Yeah. . .so can you please wait outside?" Satsuki soon asked.

To that, the blond simply nodded and slightly turn around. "Yeah sure, I'll just keep a lookout." Naruto got out as he stepped outside and closed the door behind him.

Once the blond had exited, the Hyuga turn towards the mask shinobi ang gave him a gentle and understanding smile. "It's alright, you don't have to be about it for the time being." Hinata calmly reassured as the Uchiha nodded in agreement.

Whether it was the way the bluenette said it, her kind demeanor or simply because the pain was getting worse, the mask shinobi slowly began to lower her guard and nodded.

After a few moments of deliberation, the masked shinobi begrudgingly agree, then removed their masks to reveal a long slihgtly silky orange hair, after that she removed her shirt to show her injured shoulder.

With her smile still present on her face, Hinata then began to gently apply her medical ointment on the injury. All the while she noticed the injured girl's blushing face, which made her smile in an amusement.

"Just take it easy, Nata-chan will do everything she can to help." Satsuki reassured in a soft tone.

Meanwhile just outside. . .

Naruto was simply waiting just at the ground level at the temple while waiting for the girls to finish. "Really wish I could've used Kurama's chakra for this kind of situation. . ." He mentally remarked to himself with a deadpan expression as he wanted to be able to detect things much better like before.

Because the blond knew that he it wasn't for his future fiance's patience, it would had been a very awkward situation, well he was just glad to have dodged that bullet.

Whoosh. . .

Suddenly a light and gentle gust of wind blew by the blond, then his eyes caught sight of something unusual. What he saw was a small spider gliding through the air by the gust, making it look pretty cool in his eyes.

"Huh. . ." Naruto offhandedly got out as he watched this happen as he watched the unusual scene with slight interest.

"Naru-kun! You can come in now!" Satsuki called out from the shine.

The sudden call gained the blond's attention, so he quickly turned around and dashed back up the stairs until he was right in front of the door. Then the blond gently open the door and there his eyes slightly widened when he saw the shinobi in a more feminine light.

"Oh, didn't know she was pretty cute." Naruto couldn't help but say out loud as he looked at the embarrassed girl. Then his eyes widen when he recalled when he rescued the girl he touch a certain area when he thought it was a guy. "Oh crap. . ." He soon muttered

"Ahem." Hinata and Satsuki coughed out in unison at hearing the first part.

The blond nearly jumped out of his own skin at hearing that. "I swear to kami! I did not knew at the time!" Naruto mentally exclaimed in a frantic manner.

"What are you talking about?" The two heiresses soon asked at the same time.

"Nothing!" Naruto soon exclaimed.

Suddenly the orangette stood in front of the blond as said boy couldn't help but slightly blush at the adorable expression on their face. Which didn't escape the two girl's eyes as they slightly narrowed their eyes in annoyance

"I am Sasame Fūma of the Fūma Clan." The girl soon introduced herself in a polite manner.

"O-Oh, nice to meet you. . ." Naruto quickly replied with a slightly embarrassed tone. "Name's Naruto Uzumaki nice to meet ya." He then introduced himself as he suddenly felt a jolt coursing through his spine, he then slightly turned and his eyes widen.

". . ." There were the two other kunoichi's looking on with terrifyingly sweet smiles on their faces.

"W-Wait, g-girls! It's not what you think!" Naruto mentally stammered out, however they didn't so much as reply in any shape or form. Wanting to escape this situation, he turned towards orangette. "S-So Sasame-chan, why were you being chased?" He soon asked.

Fortunately or not, this question got the girls to calm down somewhat as they turn towards the kunoichi as they were now showing concern for her.

"Yeah, we could help you out if you want." Satsuki then offered which caused Hinata to smiled and nodded in agreement.

Upon seeing the malice free expression on their trio's faces, Sasame could only feel more at ease and after a few moments she nodded, making the trio smile happily. The group then decided to sit down on the wooden floor and waited for the girl to begin to explain her situation.

"They were the Sound Shinobi protecting Orochimaru's residence." Sasame soon revealed.

"What!?" The trio meanwhile exclaimed in unison to hearing this.

"I'm sorry for mistaking you guys as on of them just now." Sasame soon apologized in a guilty manner.

"Wait! Forget that!" Satsuki however interrupted with a slightly agitated manner.

"We're also looking for Orochimaru's headquarters!" Naruto then revealed as this was the lead they were searching for.

"Could you please give us any details?" Hinata soon enough asked.

"Alright. . ." Sasame replied. "It all started with the Feudal Lord of the Land of Rice launched an attack on a neighboring land in an attempt to expand the territory." She began.

"Oh great. . .another greedy asshole." Naruto couldn't help but think to himself with contempt as the girl's couldn't help but feel the same way.

"The Land of Rice is a small land. . .And there aren't that many shinobis." Sasame soon revealed.

"So they were desperate. . ." Satsuki mentally stated as the others nodded in agreement to that.

"It was a foolhardy attack. Losing was expected. . ." Sasame informed in a ashamed tone. "And the shinobi clans of this land who participated in the losing battle went to ruin. . ." She soon revealed, her head dropping in depression to remembering. "We the Fūma clan as well." She then added.

Unaware from the four, silky webs started to gather around the entire temple as spider began crawling all over it.

"I hear that among the surviving shinobi, there are those who have left the land and those who have stooped to become thieves." Sasame then revealed.

Soon the webs started to thicken over the temple as even more spiders started to appear.

"Even so, we've lived believing in a restoration of the clan and continued to live in hiding in the shadows." as a small spider glided behind the group. "At that time, an emissary of the Otogakure appeared before us, attempting to create the first full scale Shinobi village in the Land of Rice." Sasame continued.

This in turn caused the trio's eyes to widen as they immediately knew what this meant.

"The emissary of Otogakure said. . ." Sasame began as she thought back to the day everything started.

Flashback no jutsu!

A group of Oto Shinobis were staring down the Fūma Clan with Kimimaro, standing in front of them. "My master Orochimaru is gathering all sorts of Jutsu!" He soon declared. "He has taken an interest in your Jutsu as well." He then revealed.

As the member of the Fūma clan continued looking at the Snake Sannin's forces, while Sasame poked her head out to get a better look.

"Depending on you work, you might be given the chance to serve the Feudal Lord!" Kimimaro soon revealed.

This comment caught the attention of a slightly older shinobi, as he look on with keen eyes. He wore a green short-sleeve shirt, but the collar and sleeves were white, two black arm sleeves on his lower arms and long grey pants. He also had long, smooth, chin-length purple hair which had bangs hung just over his eyebrows and grey coloured eyes.

"My cousin Arashi. . ." Sasame then started, blushing at remembering her cousin. "Was an up and coming star for the restoration of the clan. . ." She soon revealed.

No sooner after that, many members of the Fūma Clan began to leave as they decided to placed their faith on the Snake Sannin's promise of helping resurrect their clan. The last one that left was none other than Arashi himself as he looked towards the rest of the Fūma Clan before he turned to leave.

"Arashi as a representative of the clan headed for Oto village together with the emissary. But. . ." Sasame continued before trailing off at the end.

Then the younger orangette walked forward in concern as her cousin left.

Kai!

Soon the poor orangette began sobbing as she placed her face in her hands, covering her face as a result as she cried.

The trio couldn't help but flinch in startlement at hearing that as they all felt as this story sounded very familiar to every time they heard anyone interaction with the former Snake Sannin.

"And then. . .?" Naruto got out as he had a feeling where this was going.

Sasame quickly recovered and wiped her tears away. "We waited for a notice from Arashi, but. . ." She hesitantly started but once more trailed off.

"There was no word from him. . ." Hinata stated more than ask as just like the blond she too could see how this ended.

All the orangette did was simply nodded as she remained silent.

Satsuki, who was the most quiet soon looked at the others as they all did the same. "Naru-kun, Nata-chan, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" She mentally asked in a serious tone.

And on cue, the blond stood up first and slammed his right fist onto his left palm. "He was tricked by that Orochimaru! Just like everyone who ever made a deal with that snake!" Naruto growled out in anger.

This caused Sasame's expression to turn even more saddened and nearly fall into despair as what could had fallen to her cousin still haunt her.

The Hyuga then placed a hand on the orangette's shoulder. "Sasame-chan." She reassured followed by the reveal.

However instead of feeling depressed she gain a very determined expression. "I'm going to save Arashi-niichan!" Sasame suddenly exclaimed.

This in turn slightly startled the trio to that sudden declaration.

"I have a small body and my power is weak. So no matter what I did. . ." Sasame shamefully admitted. "I did nothing but become a hindrance even in Ninjutsu training. . ." She then added.

Naruto could only look on with a serious expression on his face, after all, he of all people can relate to her feelings of being nothing but a hindrance. While the girls frown sadly as they knew what their favorite blond both thought and felt right this instant.

"But Arashi-niichan always saved me!" Sasame got out tears began to fall. "Everyone in the village has already given up, but. . .So I'll find Oto, alone if I have too. . ." She soon declared in a determined manner.

At that final statement, the trio instantly figured out how and why the girl's condition was when they first meet.

The Hyuga was the first to put the pieces together and frown with concern. "So that was the reason why you were being chased." Hinata stated her deduction.

"You got too close and those Oto Shinobis tried to get rid of you!" Satsuki then added to reinforce the Hyuga's deduction.

The orangette in response nodded to that. "This time, it's my turn to save Arashi-nicha!" Sasame soon declared before suddenly wincing in pain.

The trio were startled by that as Hinata quickly held her to stop her from falling.

"I. . .I want to be of help to Arashi-nichan!" Sasame then declared.

It was at this point that the trio narrowed their eyes, then they look at each other and nodded in unison.

"Well we were on the way to finding out where Oto was. . . " Naruto began to say in a casual namer, however his tone wasn't as he was really annoyed right now.

"We've had some. . .minor distractions though. . ." Hinata vaguely reminded before smiling with a determined expression.

"Yup. . .but we were looking to catch a traitor. And instead of looking for just one we're looking for two!" Satsuki then added.

Sasame meanwhile looked at the trio in confusion,but looked on in amazement.

Naruto then gave his signature fox like grin as he thrust his fist forward. "We promise that we'll save you cousin dattebayo!" He soon declared.

The trio's pure determination moved the orangette to tears as she looked on at the blond and nodded.

". . ." However that expression from the orangette didn't felt right for the two Konoha's kunoichis as they look on with deadpan expression with the occasional eye twitching.

"Sasame-san, here's a piece of information for you." Satsuki suddenly started while trying to sound compose, but failing a bit.

Hinata was about to add something before she caught sight of a small spider gliding passed them. "Eh?" She got out as she looked up and her eyes widen.

"Naru-kun is our-" Satsuki then started, however. . .

"Naruto-kun! Satsuki-chan!" Hinata suddenly interrupted with an alarmed tone.

The two instaly were alarmed as they looked up and their own eyes widen in pure horror. At the very top of the roof there were hundreds upon hundreds of spiders crawling on the ceiling.

"W-What!?" The two got out in fear and startlement at the sight.

Then the spiders began to move towards the open craters on the walls and began to exit through them. After regaining some composure, both Naruto and Satsuki rushed out and open the door.

"What the!?" The two got out in shocked and confused unison as the moment they open the door, their eyes widen when they saw that the entire temple was covered in spider webs.

Sasame then looked outside to see everything. "T-This is!" She stammered out.

Suddenly echoes of sinister chuckling began to echo all throughout the temple. "Ninja Art: Wind Spider!" The echoey voice declared. "My cute children made a path for me out of silver thread and told me where you guys were going." He then revealed.

This in turn caused the Uzumaki and Uchiha to search the area for the source of the voice, but couldn't find it as it echoed everywhere.

"All of you together will descend into hell while bearing the secret!" The echoey voice soon declared as he continued to chuckle in a sinister manner.

"This must be the ventriloquism jutsu! Its use to scatter his voice, making it seem to be coming in every direction." Hinata soon deducted.

"Got it! Thanks Nata-chan!" Satsuki replied.

"Hinata-chan can you take care of Sasame-chan? Me and Satsuki-chan will take care of this idiots!" Naruto soon requested followed by the statement.

The Hyuga in turn nodded to that. "Alright, just be careful." Hinata advised in a concerned manner.

"Right!" The two replied as they charged out.

With a quick slash of their kunais both chunin's cut through some of the webs, however upon seeing that it would take too long to do so they turn towards each other and nodded. Then in unison they both made a very familiar hand sign.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Naruto and Satsuki declared in perfect unison.

In an instant there were at least twenty blond's and five ravenette's, then the clones instantly dashed around cutting as many webs as they could. While there were still a lot left, at the very least the area around the entrance was now cleared.

"!?" The spider user was shocked upon seeing this. "I thought they were just clones, but their really Shadow Clones!" He muttered in disbelief.

"Looks like I was right. . .these aren't scraps." Kamakiri started as he then looked towards the ground. "Looks like your up, Kagero!" He then ordered with a smirk.

"Understood. . ." The man in the group replied.

Meanwhile the blond and his clones were looking at every direction as they were ready to counter any attack, but nothing was happening. "Where the hell are they!? I thought you guys were attacking!" Naruto got out in confusion.

Upon seeing that there wasn't any attack yet, Satsuki then looked at all of her and the blond's clones. "Alright! Fan out and scout the area!" She soon ordered, however before the clones could respond.

"Borne to be born, lived to live, one sunrise and one sunset. . ." A deep voice soon began.

"What the?" Naruto got out.

"Is it the enemy?" Satsuki soon questioned as she took out her blade, ready to fight this time.

"The life of a mayfly lasts but one day. Thinking that such a fleeting life is pitiable is, in fact, pitiable. . ." The deep voice continued.

Hinata meanwhile continued to stand guard as she continued watching over the orangette, who was shivering in a fear filled manner.

"Know that I'm at my best when living in the dark and deep in the ground!" The deep voice then concluded.

Suddenly a large tremor could be felt all around the area, causing both the originals and the clones to slightly lose balance. It was then that Naruto was the first to notice the same deformed man, who was still slightly buried, was right in front of the temple.

"Earth Style: Antlion!" The deep voice owner declared.

Then the next thing everyone saw was a large sink hole began to extend outwards, which quickly began to sink even the trees around them and then began to break apart the temple's stairs as well, causing most of the blond clones and two of the ravenette's clones to fall into it as well as large parts of the temple itself.

"Oh crap!" Naruto shouted in terror as he along with the remaining clones began to fall into the sinkhole, causing some of them to dispelled in an instant.

"We got to do something or the whole temple is going to be sucked into it!" Satsuki then exclaimed as she grabbed the hold of the temple railing as the structure shook.

However just as the whole tremble was about to be taken down. . .

"Summoning Jutsu!" A familiar older voice declared.

POOF!

Suddenly right on the edge of the sinkhole, the Toad Sage appeared on top of his signature orange toad. "Oi Gakis! Hop on!" Jiraiya ordered as his toad quickly extended its long tongue towards the younger shinobi's.

Before the two could respond, both the blond and ravenette look at each other and nodded from an unspoken agreement. "No need to tell me twice dattebakon!" Satsuki shouted in slight fear as she let go of the temple.

The blond nodded in agreement to that. "About time you got here Ero-Sennin!" Naruto got out as he too let go and the two jumped towards the tongue.

As soon as the two shinobis grabbed hold of the tongue, which felt very disgusting to them, but they ignored it as they let it pull them to the head.

"Those are the real ones, huh!?" Kagero got out at seeing the two younger shinobi's being pulled. Then he quickly rose out of the sinkhole and threw multiple kunais directly at their vital area.

POOF! POOF!

"What!? They were clones!?" Kagero got out in confusion.

"Fool ya you idiot!" Naruto shouted as the summon toad pulled out the real Uzumaki and Uchiha along with a few of their clones as well.

"Now it's our turn dattebakon!" Satsuki then declared as the blond clones threw two Satsuki's towards the enemy,

Then as the two ravenette's were sailing in the air, they instantly threw out their blades to slash the enemy, however they miss by mere centimeters as the deformed man jumped out of the sinkhole.

POOF! POOF!

"!?" It was only the moment that he saw the two ravenette's dispelling did he realized what had moment he turned towards the Konoha shinobi they saw both the original forming a large sphere made of chakra.

"And that's twice you idiot!" Naruto and Satsuki revealed in unison as the remaining blond clones threw them forward and slammed the jutsu on the now defenceless enemy. "Odama Rasengan!" They declared in unison.

The effect was intent as the enemy's stomach distorted for a moment before his entire body was forced back like a spinning rocket.

BOOM! CRACK!

The deformed man slammed straight into a rocky mountain creating a massive crater and was knocked out cold when he landed on the ground.

"We got him!" Naruto cheered with glee as the two chunin when towards defeating the enemy.

"Careful gakis! The others are hiding close by!" Jiraiya soon informed.

No sooner the Toad Sage said that did the two young chunin stop, right after they did so did they avoided a barrage of kunai and shurikens. Then the other two enemy shinobi quickly appeared their defeated team member and pick them up.

"Knew it! There they are!" Jiraiya then called out.

"Kagero!" The bald shinobi called out his teammate with concern.

"We need to retreat for now!" The scissor using shinobi then declared as all three enemy shinobi's vanished via shushin.

"Hey!" Naruto called out in annoyance.

"Get back here you cowards!" Satsuki quickly roared as the two then jumped onto the trees to followed them.

However before they could even begin their pursuit, the enemy shinobis had already look since escape with their injured comrade.

This caused the blond to let out an annoyed tisk. "Quick to run away like cowards after nearly losing. . ." Naruto remarked in annoyance.

"I'll say." Satsuki replied in agreement as she then kicked the ground.

Back at the nearly ruined temple. . .

After the two chunin come back they were finally able to see the damage the enemy shinobi had done to the temple. Almost all of the structure of the temple was lean down wards and by some miracle what it more or less was still in one piece.

Then they saw that both Hinata and Sasame had already exited the building and where next to the Toad Sage. "Hinata-chan! Sasame-chan!" Naruto called out as he dashed toward them.

"Thank goodness!" Satsuki also called out as she soon followed after the blond.

The bluenette made a few more checks on the orangette and when she saw no injuries, she smiled and nodded to the duo. "Yes, thanks to your efforts we didn't get dragged into the sinkhole." Hinata commented with a thankful tone.

"Great!" Naruto replied as he then look towards the orangette. "Glad that your also ok Sasame-chan." He then got out in a relieved tone while giving a glowing bright smile to her.

This caused the orangette to slight blushed and looked away in a bashful manner.

"Ahem!" Hinata and Satsuki coughed out.

"!?" Naruto felt a spin tingling terror at the unusual coughing and took a few steps backs out of pure survival instinct. "What just happened?" He thought to himself then anything else.

Meanwhile the Toad Sage was grinning madly at the situation as he pretty much understood what had just happened and couldn't wait to add this in his new book. "Even though these interactions are excellent material to use, do you think you three can introduce me to your new cute friend?" Jiraiya remarked followed by the request as he decided to help out his godson out.

However the reaction from this question want's what the toad Sage was expecting as all the trio made a wall in front of the the orangette.

The sudden movement of the trio made the Toad Sage to look on with a confused expression. "What's wrong?" Jiraiya asked with a baffled and confused tone.

Then as one the trio pointed at the older shinobi. "Five feet away Ero-sennin!" Naruto and Satsuki declared in perfect unison.

This however confused the white haired man. "Wait what?" Jiraiya got out in even more confusion.

"Please. . .five feet way. . ." Hinata soon requested with narrow eyes.

It was at the cold tone from the Hyuga that the Toad Sage finally realized what the trio meant. "Hey! I told you I'm only interested in adult women! I'm not a pedophile!" Jiraiya roared with indignation at the unspoken statement from the trio.

"After leaving us to be with woman in the tavern, we're inclined not to believe you Ero-sennin." Naruto deadpanned as he clearly didn't believe a word the man had said.

"I told you to quit calling me that!" Jiraiya then demanded in annoyance.

This however got both the Uzumaki and Uchiha to gain large tick marks on their foreheads. "How about being called a leecher dattebayo/dattebakon!" Naruto and Satsuki soon suggested in unison.

"Everyone. . ." The calm yet chilling voice of Hinata echoed.

"!?" In and instant all three stopped their bickering and felt a bone chilling wind pass their spins.

To the trio's terror, they saw a smiling Hyuga that gave off a terrifying aura. "Will all of you please calm down. . .Sasame-chan is in no condition for this. . ." Hinata requested with a polite yet terrifying tone.

"Yes ma'am. . ." The trio quickly replied with a calm and submissive tone as they were one again reminded just how scary the Hyuga can be.

Once everyone had finally stopped, Hinata finally calmed down and gently gesture towards the orangette. "Anyway, this is Sasame Fūma-chan" She soon began the girl's introduction as she then gained a sad expression. "She is a kunoichi from the Land of Rice and a member of the Fuma clan. Her cousin was taken away by Orochimaru and was looking for a way to find him." She then informed.

"Also those jerks that attacked us just now, were shinobi that were after Sasame-chan." Naruto then added.

"Yeah, their like the guard dogs for Orochimaru's secret hideout." Satsuki then concluded. "So we must be on the right track to find the pedo bastard." She soon deducted.

At hearing that, Jiraiya gain a more serious expression. "I see. She's with the Fūma clan, huh?" He simply got out as he file all of this information in his head.

"Wait, you know about her clan?" Naruto soon asked as the girls all looked at the white haired man in confusion.

Then the Toad Sage began to recall his earlier encountered with the former shinobi back at the town. "I had contact with the shinobi in the town who'd left the Fūma clan."

This only caused both the blond and ravenette to blink a few times as if trying to process this. Then after a few moments, their eyes widen. "Wait! You were actually doing serious investigation!?" The two asked with complete and utter shocked, unable to believe this.

Hinata meanwhile also blinked upon hearing this before nodding. "Please continue Ero-sennin, we need all the details we can get." She soon requested in a calm and serious tone as she was regaining some respect for the older shinobi.

Nodding to that, Jiraiya placed his hand on his chin and began to recall. "Well you see, when I went to this nice-looking bar, it just turned out to be their hideout."

And with that. . .Hinata once again lost the small scared of respect she just gave the Toad Sage.

"You really think that would make us believe you!? You just wanted to hang out with some girls!"

". . .Yeah, like finding a shinobi clan at a bar and just happened to be hideout?" Satsuki questioned in a deadpan tone.

"Hey! Quit with that baseless accusations! You'll lead others to misunderstand and I'll lose respect!"

This however only made blond gain an irritated look while the two kunoichi's merely look on with dead eyes. "Too late in that Ero-sennin." Hinata and Satsuki responded in perfect deadpan unison.

And that was the straw that broke the camel's back as the Toad Sage now knew that any respect the girls had for him were now completely gone. While he knew that the girl's did respected him as a shinobi, any chance of him looking like a decent person had been shattered to the girls.

The orangette's attention however was on the other subject the Toad Sage mentioned. "Members of the Fuma Clan. . .?" Sasame asked with a surprised tone.

"Yeah. The boss was called Hanzaki or something. . ." Jiraiya then informed.

This in turn caused Sasame to lower her head. "Hanzaki and the others are traitors who abandoned the clan." She revealed.

"Oh. . ." Jiraiya got out with an interested expression on his face.

"Did those people do something?" Sasame then asked in a curious manner.

"They were after my travel money, so I taught them a lesson." Jiraiya revealed. "While at it, I attempted to ask them about Orochimaru's hideout. . ." He added as he raised his hands and shook his head. "But they didn't know anything." He then concluded.

This caused Sasame to let out a sigh of relief. "I can show you the way to Orochimaru's hideout." She then offered.

This in turn gained the trio's attention. "Wait, for real!?" Naruto soon asked in an excited tone.

"That would be extremely helpful." Hinata then added with a smile.

"Finally we got a lead now!" Satsuki concluded in relief and with a smirk gracing her face. "Now we can find and take that pedo down!" She meanwhile thought.

While this was very good news, the Toad Sage however didn't look happy, in fact he a completely neutral expression as he looks on the orangette.

Within a forest section of the Land of Rice. . .

The group dashed towards the tree branches, while they were making decent time, however they soon made a stop as the orangette couldn't continue from the pain she felt in her shoulder

The orangette would have fallen had it not been by both girl's catching her. "You shouldn't push yourself, your wound haven't completely healed yet." Hinata instructed in a concerned manner.

"Yes. . .your right. . .but. . ." Sasame struggled to get out as she then pointed forward.

Right in front of the group there were a large yet thin looking mountain covering a large portion of the land.

"This is the entrance to Oto." Sasame informed as she pointed at the mountain. "Orochimaru's hideout is deep in those mountains. . ." She then revealed.

At realizing that this could be the potential hideout of the former Snake Sannin, Satsuki narrowed her eyes as the thought of the traitor also being there as well.

Touching the Uchiha's shoulder to calm her down "Trust me, we feel the same and we must not let are anger influence us." Hinata calmly replied.

This action manage to calm the flames of anger inside the Uchiha as she took a deep breath and nodded in agreement.

Seeing that, Naruto simply grinned widely as he began walking forward. "Then let's get going and. . ." He started, however. . .

"Nope! Hold on. . ." Jiraiya suddenly started.

The sudden order caused the blond to take a miss step and fell flat on his face. "What!? Why not!?" Naruto asked in disbelief.

"If we don't hurry, night will fall before we arrive at Orochimaru's hideout. . ." Sasame then tried to reason as time was of the essence.

"She's right! We can finally catch up with the Haruno, Ero-sennin!" Satsuki also completely agreed.

Sasame then looked towards the Hyuga. "Haruno?" She repeated in confusion.

Hinata in response lowered her head to that. "She was a former Konoha kunoichi, she went rouge and betrayed both our village and our precious friends. . ." She hesitantly revealed.

"!?" Sasame's eyes in turn widened to that reveal. "B-Betrayed. . ." She repeated.

"Give us one good reason why we should wait!?" Naruto

GRR. . .

Then as if in timely fashion a loud groaning sounds echoed from the Toad Sage's stomach, leaving the younger shinobi confused.

"Well. . ." Jiraiya began to say with a very embarrassed expression on his face while letting out and awkwards laugh. "Well. . .I'm hungry, you see. . ."

This in turn caused the rest of the group to face fault to hearing that.

"Are you kidding me!?" The Team Seven trio exclaimed.

"Well I can't fight if I'm hungry!" Jiraiya then pointed out.

This even made the nearly infinite patience of the Hyuga to reach its limit. "That's like one of the most basic necessities of living beings, let alone shinobis!" Hinata then stated with a very irritated tone.

"I know, I know." Jiraiya calmly responded. "Regardless, up ahead will become full blown enemy territory, we need to eat to recover some of our stamina." He then informed.

"Never had that problem." Naruto retorted as he crossed his arms in annoyance.

The Toad Sage could only look at the blond with deadpan eyes. "That's because not everyone has the stamina of a hundred people and the brains of a raging stubborn bull." Jiraiya retorted

"Oi!" Naruto exclaimed in an offended manner.

Instead of continuing any further retort, Jiraiya merely ignored his godson as he regain his jovial expression and sat on the ground. "In any case, we all need to recharge before getting into the next fight." He then stated all the while his was somehow taking more and more stuff out of his person.

The younger shinobis could only look on with a dumbfounded expressions as right in front of them was now a large mat with a large amount of food on it.

"Well? What are you gaki's waiting for? Let's dig in!" Jiraiya soon ordered.

Instead of feeling annoyed like always from the perverted sage's antics, the trio were left surprised by both the gesture and preparedness of the older shinobi.

"Well. . .I'm just surprised that you actually took the time to get all this food just for us." Hinata awkwardly admitted yet she held an appreciated tone.

Meanwhile the Uchiha was merely looking on while blinking eyes a few times. "Same here dattebakon. . ." Satsuki replied in agreement.

Upon hearing the Hyuga's words the toad sage momentarily stopped eating to look at the trio.. "Eh? Oh no. It seems that the prettiest girl in the bar fell for my charm you see." Jiraiya got out in a confident manner while letting out an irritated chuckle.

And like that, everything was right in the world. . .

"And. . .there goes my little respect you gained a moment ago dattebahi. . ." Hinata muttered as she sighed in annoyance.

"Sorry Hinata-chan, but that didn't surprise me in the slightest." Naruto soon admitted with a deadpan tone.

". . ." Meanwhile Satsuki began tightening her fist in annoyance as a fiery aura started forming around her.

However before any of the trio could truly begin their shouting competition at the perverted sage. . .

GRRRRR!

Four sets of stomachs growled in unison and with that and an all will to fight completely vanished.

"Ehehehe. . ." Satsuki and Hinata awkwardly giggled out at the same time while rubbing the backs of their heads.

On the other hand, Sasame look extremely embarrassed as she couldn't even look at anyone out of shame.

"Fine. . .we're do it your way Ero-sennin." Naruto grumbled out in annoyance and out of hunger.

And with that the trio and the orangette simply sat down and began eating the food.

Meanwhile the Toad Sage was busy enjoying the food to care about their complaints.

However, before any of the younger shinobi's could start eating, Sasame suddenly stood up. "I'll go make some tea." She offered as she quickly went to do so by graving the materials needed next to the food.

"Oh! Thanks." Jiraiya merely replied while continuing enjoying his food.

Then after making a fireplace with stones around the hole, Sasame place the tea inside bamboo stick and let it head up in the fire.

However as the tea was about to be ready, the orangette kneeled next to the tea as she took out a tiny envelope. As she was about to continued, she momentarily stopped as she look at the group and gain a guilty expression, but she shook her head as she placed the contents of the envelope into the tea.

Hinata meanwhile noticed this and silently nodded to the others, which caused to let out sighs in both sadness and disappointment as a result.

Suddenly the blond's expression turn back to his normal cheerful self. "Got to say, the food taste pretty good!" Naruto commented as he happily ate his riceball.

"Yeah, not as good as Nata-chan's, but still pretty good." Satsuki got out in agreement.

"Thank you Satsuki-chan." Hinata replied with a gentle smile on her face.

Then after a few moments Sasame came back with four sets of tea. "Tea's ready." She simply announced to the group.

"Ah, why thank you." Jiraiya replied as he took a cup.

Meanwhile, Naruto nearly choke on eating his rice ball to fast that he quickly took his tea and drank it just as quickly. "Thanks! Really needed it!"

"Naruto-kun. . .your manners please." Hinata instructed with a kind yet strict tone as she took a sip of her tea.

This in turn caused said blond to chuckle awkwardly and let out a sigh as he slowly eat the rest of his food.

On the other hand, Satsuki simply giggle in amused meant. "You know how Nata-chan is with manners Naru-kun." The Uchiha then retorted in amusement as she also took her tea.

As the trio's banter continued, the Toad Sage simply ignored it as he continue enjoying his food. However after a few moments had passed, his face cringed in pain, then he dropped his bamboo cup and suddenly he fell face first to the ground.

"Ero-Sennin!" The trio called out as they all stood up in shock.

Naruto then tried go towards him to check on him. "What's. . .wrong. . ." Was all he could get out as he too fell unconscious.

"Naru. . .kun. . ." Satsuki started to get out before she too fell unconscious.

Hinata's eyes meanwhile widened in shock to this before her head started to feel heavy, causing her to hold it as a result. "E-Every. . .one. . ." She barely got out as she also succumbed to unconsciousness like the rest.

As all of the Konoha shinobi were completely out of commission, the now deeply dejected orangette stood up. ". . ." She could only look at the group with guilt, but she pushed that emotion down as she ran towards a nearby clift, then she took out a string flare and pulled the string.

WHOOSH!

A red stream of smoke could be seen for at least a solid mile in diameter. Which was more than enough for the pursuers to see it.

"Looks like Sasame did it." Kamikiri remarked with a smirk on his face while a chuckle escaped his lips..

"It looks like it had to come to this. But they're ours now." Jigumo then declared.

Kagero tried to move, however he couldn't do it properly as his face cringed in discomfort.

"Your wounds haven't healed yet." Jigumo then reminded."Kagero, you wait here." He soon ordered.

"There's no mistake now. . .they're Konoha shinobi." Kamikiri declared as he then smirk with glee. "If we can take care of the Konoha pursuers. . .Orochimaru-sama will surely acknowledge the power of the Fuma Clan." He stated as he couldn't help but think that this was their chance.

Kagero in response grunted in exhaustion to that. "Yeah. . ." He simply replied, even if he wanted to go, he knew that he would only get in the way.

"Let's come back with good news." Jigumo declared as he dashed towards the flare.

"And with the heads of the Konoha shinobi's as souvenirs!" Kamikiri then added with morbid delight.

Back with the unconscious Team Seven and Toad Sannin. . .

As Sasame came back, she looked at the unconscious group as once again guilt was ever plastered on her face. She knew that she had done wrong towards these people who not only heard her plea but were also willing to help her out in her hour of need.

However the orangette had closed her heart as she knew that this was the only way that could help her fulfill her goals, even if it meant betraying the group who had done so much for her out of the goodness of their heart.

Sasame then quickly recalled her encounter with the enemy trio, of how they told her that if she wanted to see Arashi, she needed to work with Orochimaru. And even if she didn't wanted too, she would do so if she could see her precious family once more.

At that moment, the two Oto Shinobis arrived where the orangette was.

"So? How did it go?" Jigumo questioned in a serious tone.

The oranette's only response was silence while looking towards the unconscious Konoha group.

"You've done well." Kamikiri then praised in a satisfactory manner.

A brief flash of guilt appeared on her face. "With this, I'll be able to see Arashi-niichan, right?" Sasame then asked.

The man with the scissor like weapon then jumped toward the orangette while preparing his weapon. "After we've finished them off!" He then declared in a sinister tone.

To hearing that, Sasame gasped in shock. "Why!? Weren't we just supposed to take them to Orochimaru-sama for examination after capturing them!?" She soon asked in confusion.

Kamikiri however just smirked menacingly. "We only need the heads for the examination."

To that statement, Sasame's eyes widened in a fear filled manner as she realized she had made a terrible mistake. "No!" She cried out as she stood in between the man. "These people. . .For my sake. . .!" She soon begged.

That was all the scissor wilding shinobi was willing to stand. "Move!" Kamikiri ordered as he struck the orangette with the blunt part of his weapon with enough force to not only knocker her out, but also send her flying in a nearby boulder, but before she could crash into it. . .

WHOOSH!

A dark blur appeared and caught the unconscious kunoichi and surprising the two enemy shinobis, even more so when they saw it was the supposedly unconscious blond shinobi, who merely grinned at them.

"Impossible! The Fūma numbing medicine didn't work!?" Kamikiri exclaimed in shock and confusion.

Naruto however smirked to that. "Idiots, we knew about it all along, right from the start!" He declared as the Hyuga and Uchiha Heiresses appeared by his side. "You girls ready?" He then asked.

"Always!" Satsuki replied as she cracked her knuckles.

"Yes!" Hinata also replied with a nod.

And then in complete unison, the trio then made a familiar hand sign. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" The declared.

POOF! POOF! POOF!

And then one identical copy of the trio appeared beside them, Hinata look at her clone as if giving an order, it nodded as she took the unconscious Sasame. Then the clone trio dashed away, to make sure she wouldn't be harmed or used as a hostage in the battle.

Kamikiri meanwhile grunted as he realized what had happened, he then looked at the unconscious group before throwing some kunais at then, instantly blowing up in white smoke to reveal logs in their places. "Damn, they used the Substitution Jutsu." He got out in annoyance.

The trio then jumped down and got into their battle stances. "Now then. . ." Naruto began as he gained an angered expression. "Why does Sasame-chan have to do something like this!?" He soon asked in a furious manner.

"If you think we forced her, then you're wrong, she did it of her own will." Kamikiri however revealed.

"Like we believe that!" Satsuki instantly retorted, while she didn't trust her at first, however, after hearing her story and detecting no lies in her words, she knew she wouldn't do this, not without a reason.

"I don't care if you believe it or not. She wanted to do this because it was the only way she could be able to see Arashi again. As well as for the resurrection of the Fūma clan!" Kamikiri then declared as he readied himself.

However the Hyuga narrowed her eyes as she easily saw through the man's words. "I see. . .you tricked Sasame-chan by using both her love and her loyalty for her clan and her concern for her cousin." Hinata however deducted as she activated her eyes to display her full anger.

Meanwhile Naruto let out a sigh of relief at hearing that as he took his slight brawler stance. "I'm just glad that Sasame-chan didn't do it with evil intentions and that the story of her cousin wasn't made up." Naruto honestly said with a relief tone.

The girl's couldn't help but nod in agreement as the Uchiha took a step forward with the Hyuga by her side. "Alright, that was all we needed to hear, so then, here's another question. . .who's first?" Satsuki then questioned as she readied herself while taking out her sword.

Kamikiri however didn't waste any time as he went on the attack, he wasn't going to take the risk of letting the trio get ready. He quickly channeled chakra through his large scissor/claw weapon and it extended its reach.

BOOM!

The trio instantly got out of the way just in time for the attack to land on the ground they stood as a massive explosion occurred upon impact. Even though they manage to dodge the attack Kamakiri smirked as he turned to look at the blond shinobi, who had separated from the others.

Meanwhile Naruto was sliding backwards while he used his hands to cover his face from the debris. "What the hell was that!?" He got out in shock from the attack.

WHOOSH!

Before the blond could fully process what had happened, the bold enemy shinobi suddenly appeared right on top of him as multiple spiders began circling on top while they spew a large amount of spider web.

WHAP!

Suddenly the blond shinobi's was completely ensnared by the large amount of webs. "!?" Naruto's eyes widened as he struggled in place.

Then the other enemy shinobi appeared right in front of the blond with his weapon cocked back. "Hehe! One down!" Kamakiri remarked in a cocky manner as he trusted his weapon forward.

SLICE! POOF!

But the moment the blond's head was clive apart, both of the enemy shinobi's eyes widen in pure shock at the decapitated blond vanishing in a plume of smoke.

"What!?" Jigumo exclaimed in shock.

"How!? We made sure that he couldn't use substitution!" Kamikiri declared in confusion.

But then suddenly, the blond appeared behind the enemy. "Yeah I didn't had time for substitution, but I wasn't there to begin with!" Naruto declared with a smirk.

Both Fūma shinobi's instantly realized that the blond they had seen and trap had always a clone.

BAM!

The next thing Kamikiri felt was the blond's fist impacting his jaw with enough force to send him flying a good distance away, while said young chunin quickly followed behind.

"Kamakiri!" Jigumo called out as he was about to follow his fellow clan member.

SLICE! WHOOSH!

However the spider user couldn't move as both kunoichi's stopped him in his tracks and just barely dodging a vicious slash and a palm thrust.

"Hope that you haven't forgotten about us dattebakon!" Satsuki declared.

Hinata meanwhile nodded in agreement to that as she took in a deep breath. "Another spider using guy. . .this just isn't my day. . ." She muttered to herself before looking at her fellow heiress. "Satsuki-chan, you hit him high and I'll hit him low?" Hinata mentally suggested.

"Works for me Nata-chan!" Satsuki replied via their mental link as the two girls charge at the same time.

Jigumo frown as he quickly summoned his spiders and order them to create a large wall of web to stop them or force them to go to another direction. He quickly began making hand seals to prepare for the girls to appear and unleashed his jutsu.

HISS! WHOOSH!

However what the spider user didn't see coming was the wall of web suddenly turning red, before a large ball of flames blasted through the web, incinerating it. He only had enough time to get out of the fiery ball of death way, only for the Uchiha appeared right in front of him as she prepared her blade to cut his upper body.

Jigumo in turn had no choice but to use his jutsu earlier then he plan. "" He declared as he spewed a large and dense spider web from his mouth and struck the girl's sword, effectively stopping and immobilizing her. "It's over!" He declared as he was getting ready to end the ravenette.

Though the Hyuga struggled to free her blade, she didn't looked threatened in the slightest. "Hehe, if you think that'll stop me, than congrats you did, but you forgot someone else, baldy." Satsuki quipped out in amusement with a smirk on her face.

"?" Jigumo could only look on with a confused expression as he didn't understand what the ravenette was talking about.

WHOOSH! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!

Suddenly a series of inhuman pain instantly coursed through Jigumo's body as he felt his internal organs being hit by the powerful Junken strikes and could do nothing fall unconscious.

Once making sure that the foe was completely out of commission, the Hyuga frowned with slight annoyance. "Why do they always seem to make a habit of forgetting about me?" Hinata soon asked in an exasperated manner.

The Uchiha however couldn't help but hide an amused giggle under her hand. "Maybe because you're the most stealthy out of us?" Satsuki stated more then ask with a playful grin on her face.

Hinata in turn let out an annoyed sigh. "Still don't like it. . ." She however admitted with a frown.

Meanwhile, Kamakiri recovered from the hit as he readjusted his body to stop in a sliding manner. "What the hell!? That gaki hits hard!" He thought while holding his jaw from the intense pain he was feeling.

Suddenly said blond finally caught up and went for another powerful punch, however the scissor/claw user saw that and dodge at the last second. Then he enhance his weapon with chakra again and slam it into the clone.

BOOM! POOF!

The impact once again cause an explosion, but the blond simply disappeared in a pile of smoke.

"Again with the clones!? What are you? A one trick pony!?" Kamakiri complained in annoyance as he once again felt his jaw being hit, but only this time from below

"Don't wanna hear that from the guy that just uses the same thing too!" Naruto retorted as he gave a vicious uppercut to the guy's jaw, which caused him to be sent flying upwards, then he made his signature hand seal.

POOF! POOF! POOF! POOF!

Suddenly four clones appeared to the sides of the blond, each then jumped toward the helpless shinobi.

"U - ZU - MA - KI!" Each of the clones declared in unison as each began to hit the Fūma shinobi.

Then the original Naruto jumped and appeared right on top of the daze shinobi. "BARRAGE!" He finished as he slammed the heel of his feet down onto his head.

BAM!

After the final hit, Kamakiri's head hit the ground hard with enough force to cause a concussion, effectively knocking him out for a long time. As the blond chunin landed moments later and grinned as the clones dispelled afterwards.

At that moment, the two heiresses went to his side. "That's a new move Naru-kun." Satsuki pointed out as she and the Hyuga walked towards the blond with the unconscious spider user on her shoulders.

The blond shinobi placed his hands behind his head and simply let out a chuckle. "Nah, just copy yours, bushy brows and did my own thing." Naruto casually replied.

The girls then placed the unconscious shinobi on top of his comrade. "Regardless, we have defeated the enemy and we weren't hurt in the process." Hinata added in a grateful manner at the prospect of all the being uninjured.

As the rest of Team Seven nodded in agreement to that, they then heard the sound of clapping, causing them to turn towards the source and found that it was none other than the Toad Sage.

"Not bad gakis." Jiraiya praised as he slowly walked towards the trio, then he looked at the unconscious enemy shinobi and nodded. "Didn't even needed to do anything, guess you did earn that promotion." He then remarked with a smirk on his face.

Hinata however sighed to that. "So, you didn't get involved with the fight to examine our fighting capabilities." She bluntly deducted in a clearly disapproving tone.

"Well I needed to see how much stronger you gotten so I think it was the perfect time to evaluate you in actual combat." Jiraiya calmly explained.

Satsuki however rolled her eyes to that. "Wow, you got a smooth tongue to give a perfect excuse, you sure you didn't learn that from Orochimaru?" The Uchiha remarked in annoyance.

Naruto instantly exploded in a burst of laughter at that.

"Oi!" Jiraiya exclaimed in shock.

"!? However before the group could continue their normal shenanigans, they all felt something coming.

WHOOSH! CRASH!

A large boulder flew through the air and aim at the group, causing them to dash out of the way.

Being the first to land at a safe distance away, the blond turned to look and saw it was the hunched and deformed man. "You're. . .that guy that attacked us at the temple!" Naruto declared as he readied himself once more.

"So that's the same guy, huh?"

"Don't let his appearance fool you he's a very strong Earth Style user." Satsuki however advised as she and the Hyuga Heiress readied themselves as well.

"I won't, however that won't be a problem, because there's no point to using that same jutsu in this rocky area." Jiraiya however stated.

Instead of feeling enraged or angered by the statement from the Toad Sage, the deformed man looked calm and composed. "Indeed, the Ant Lion appears from inside the ground and spreading its wings under the sunlight is but a momentary gleam." Kagero replied as the images of and Ant Lion gaining wings appeared in his mind. "That's when I die as Kagero!" He declared with conviction as his body began to shake.

"?" The group looked on in confusion while never letting down their guard.

Hinata quickly reactivated her Byakugan to look at the enemy, only for her eyes to widen in shock. "Be careful! The enemy's chakra is changing completely!" She informed.

No sooner did this warning came did the body of the enemy turn brown, as if their body turn completely to stone. Then the upper body, more specifically the hunchback, suddenly burst open.

The Konoha shinobi cover themselves from the debris as the blond caught a piece and look at it. "What's this. . .?" Naruto asked more so to himself with a confused tone.

The Hyuga's eyes widen even more as she saw a very powerful and concentrated chakra beginning to form. "Everyone! Get ready!" Hinata called out.

The group then saw that from the remains of Kagero, a burst of highly concentrated chakra erupted. Then from inside this burst of chakra the silhouette of a person began slowly emerge.

The trio were left in complete shock at the sight of a short but attractive woman, neon green hair that reached just below her ears, she was wearing a simple white dress, but what was most eye catching was four line-like wings made of chakra from her back.

Both godfather and godson's faces turn to pure shock. "WHA!? THE GUY WAS A WOMAN!?" Both Naruto and Jiraiya got out in pure disbelief.

"Expected reactions." Hinata meanwhile thought with a sweatdrop.

"Yeah, but, gotta be honest, that shocked me too." Satsuki mentally replied, blinking a couple of times to the sight.

However despite all the reactions, Kagero simply looked the picture of complete and utter calmness. "The clan will once again be in a place lit by the sunlight. . .Lord Orochimaru promised that. . ." She began to say with a low tone. "I'll use this once in a lifetime jutsu if it's for the sake of that." She then added and despite her calm tone, it held pure determination.

Then the wings on the enemy kunoichi twitch for a moment before the top wings expanded towards the group at rapid velocity. Not going to simply stand around, the group dashed out of the attacks path and. . .

BOOM! BOOM!

Suddenly, massive explosions occurred, as massive piles of dust were left in its wake, forcing the Konoha group to cover their faces to block any debri.

"Oh great, she does that too. . ." Satsuki muttered in disbelief as sweat ran down her head.

However as the dust finally was gone, the trio's face turn to pure shock as the craters left were at least three times larger and deeper than the scissor/claw user, with another noticeable difference being that they have large scorch markings caused by intense heat, effectively showing the wings destructive power.

"Ok, I take it back! She's on a whole other level then that the other guy!" Satsuki exclaimed in a more panicked manner.

WHOOSH!

Before they could recover from their initial shock, Kagero dashed at them with high velocity while adjusting her top wings. Then she did the same as before and extended towards the group.

After quickly recovering the trio recovering and narrowly dodge the two wings as they passed them, but the moment they did so they all saw that small particles of lights began to fall from the wings.

It was at that moment that the Hyuga and Uchiha's Kekkei Genkai when wide at the sight of them. "MOVE!" The two kunoichi's shouted in unison with panic clear in their voices.

Sensing the urgency their words, the two males didn't even bother to think as they all performed a shushin to vanish before the particles could touch the ground. And then the moment they did. . .

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

A chain of multiple and violent explosion began to occur in the area, while they weren't as powerful as the initial one, the amount and timing of each explosion would've been fatal if had been received the full assault.

The Toad Sage quickly analyzed the attack and thought of a counter attack. "Stay out of her reach and attack using long range jutsu!" Jiraiya soon ordered.

"Right!" The trio replied in unison as they each began making their individual hand seals while taking a deep breath and then unleashed their jutsus.

"Wind Style! Air Bullet!" Naruto declared.

"Fire Style! Flare Bullet!" Satsuki shouted out.

"Water Style! Liquid Bullet!" Hinata announced.

As the triple elemental attacks soar through the air, Kagero didn't look concerned or worried as she patiently waited for the attacks. The moment they got close enough, her wings twitch once more and slightly grew in size.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

Suddenly, the airborne enemy kunoichi burst with incredible speeds and effortlessly dodge all of the attacks as she dashed through the air.

"WHAT!?" The trio exclaimed in shocked unison.

Kagero's wings began to twitch once more, however they didn't extended lie she did before, instead only the tips of her wings bend towards the group and began to emanate .

Then a powerful concentration of chakra shout out from the wings, creating two laser like beams that flew at near ridiculous velocity.

To everything around could only look as if they were moving at slow motion. This was more truer to the trio as they moved so slow that the beams were already halfways toward them and just beginning to react towards the attack.

It was only Satsuki that manage to see this thanks to her Sharingan, but even her body wasn't fast enough to react with what she was seeing. She was now scared out of her mind as she didn't know what to do to protect her precious people from the impending death that was coming towards them.

However before the Uchiha could fall in despair, her Sharingan registered something that moved even faster than the beams themselves and appeared right in front of the trio. After stopping she was that it was none other than Jiraiya.

The Toad Sage then began to make hand signs that even the Uchiha's Sharingan had trouble keeping up as time seem to return to normal. "Well, it's to show my worth as a Sanin. Fire Style: Dragon Fire Jutsu!" Jiraiya roared with power.

A mighty flame shout out from the Toad Sage's mouth, unlike anything the Uchiha had done before, this fire jutsu was five times more powerful than anything she had ever done. The flames clashed with the two powerful energy beams and was able to hold them back and even slowly pushing it back as well.

"W-Whoa!" Satsuki muttered in disbelief and amazement.

Then for the other two chunin, time finally return as they too were left stunned at the display of power from the Toad Sage and once again being reminded that man's title of Sannin wasn't just for show.

And this was more true for Kagero herself as she was left in complete shock as this jutsu was her second most powerful jutsu in her arsenal in her current form. "I can't hold back against this man!" She thought to herself.

After a few more moments the two attacks simply canceled out, however it was very apparent that the Toad Sage's could have continued, but he simply cancel it willingly. Then Jiraiya simply smirked with a playful manner and didn't look as if he was affected in any manner from the clash.

Kagero on the other hand was panting very heavily as she could feel her life force getting weaker. "I need to end this now!" She declared as she began to ascend a bit more and make hand seals. "Antlion Ninja Arts: Ephemeral!" She declared as her wings moved erratically and then all four of them stretch towards the Konoha shinobis.

Suddenly every single cell in the groups bodies sent warning sounds as they could literally feel the destructive power of the incoming attack, none more so than the Toad Sage himself.

"Gakis! Stay close to me!" Jiraiya instantly ordered while quickly making several hand seals.

The trio didn't even bother to think about it as they instantly ran towards the Toad Sage, just in time when the attack was about to land.

BOOOOOM!

A massive explosion that made everything prior looked like an insignificant occurred as the same energy from the wings could briefly be seen.

The very tired Fūma kunoichi let out a sigh of relief and exhaustion as she knew that they wouldn't have survived that, however her eyes narrowed when she saw the large dome of flesh, she knew that her attack had failed.

From inside of the dome of flesh, Naruto could only look and slight touch the wall of flesh to confirmed that it was real and it was alive. ". . .Ok, what the hell is this?" He couldn't help but say to himself.

"And where did all of this come from?" Satsuki soon asked as she looked around.

"Ero-sennin?" Hinata soon questioned.

The trio turned and saw that the Toad Sage was in a kneeling position with his hands on the ground. "It's Toad Mouth Trap Jutsu. I summoned the extraordinarily sturdy stomach of the Mount Myoboju's Iwajuku Giant Toad." Jiraiya stated with a calm tone.

The trio were left slightly stunned at the answer while looking at the walls of flesh, before the blond slightly jerk his head. "Wait. . .stomach. . .?" Naruto repeated.

Then the Uchiha notice a thick branch stuck on the wall as pile of liquid hit it and began to melt.

HISSSS!

"Holy!" Satsuki could only get out in shock as she took a few steps back from the melted branch.

Hinata slightly paled at the sight of this. "Acid. . .and very powerful one at that. . ." She soon stated with fear in her tone.

Jiraiya however narrowed his eyes to this. "If I didn't do this, we wouldn't have been able to defend ourselves from that woman's last jutsu, it was just that powerful." He soon declared.

"N-Noted." Satsuki replied in a nervous tone and a nod.

Then the dome of flesh vanished the same way as if it was a summon and the group was in the center.

Kagero could only watch this with a defeated expression. "I believed. . .that the clan would someday. . .I believed in that." She got out with a distraught tone as her body suddenly began to glow.

Suddenly the kunoichi turn in to light as she descended towards her unconscious clansmen and then all three vanished.

"Whoa! She's gone." Naruto got out with a surprised tone.

"She teleported herself and her comrades in an instant. . ." Hinata meanwhile muttered in disbelief to the occurrence.

"I've got to hand it to her. She probably put all of her life on the line and attempted to save her comrades. . ." Jirraiya admitted as he narrowed his eyes.

This simple sentence however instantly made the trio furious.

"That's unforgivable!" Naruto got out while tightening his fist. "Those guys. . .The Fūma Clan. . .Their feelings towards their clan is the same as our feelings!" He soon declared.

"He manipulated the Fūma's desire to restore their clan. . .and used them for his own personal gain. . ." Hinata then stated in a cold yet infuriated tone.

"Orochimaru. . .that damn pedo. . ." Satsuki growled out in rising anger. "We're going to take that asshole done, no matter what!" concluded in disgust

"And you can bet on it!" The trio mentally declared in unison as they then looked toward the unconscious oragnette.

At the deepest part of the forest. . .

A few miles away from the trio position, there was a small entrance at the base of a large tree, that was where a flash of light appear, revealing that it was Kagero with her two unconscious comrades. However no sooner did she appeared that she too fell.

Then a few moments later did both Kamikiri and Jigumo regain their consciousness.

"Wh-where are we?" Jigumo got out as he looked around and saw that it wasn't the mountain area he was before. But then when he saw his comrade did he widen his single eye. "Kagero!" he called out in fear for her wellbeing.

"You risked your life to save us?" Kamikiri stated more than asked.

However Kagero couldn't respond, even though her eyes were slightly open, it was clear that she had already lost consciousness.

Then Jigumo could see that the light in her eyes were very dull and her lips were trembling, this made him realize what just happen. "You used that jutsu. . .you idiot. . ." He cursed with anger, more towards himself than their comrades.

The two enemy shinobis then quickly placed Kagero's arms around their shoulders in order to lift her and then headed towards the entrance.

Deep underground. . .

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SPLASH!

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Wails of pain were heard from within the darkness as blood splattered over the walls of the candle lit cavern.

On the walls of this underground cavern, there were many large prison cells where many people were trapped inside, most of them had hollowed and dead eyes as if they had given up on living.

At the deepest part of the carven both Fūma Clan shinobis where kneeling in front of none other than the former Snake Sannin, Orochimaru.

"Please. . ." Kamakiri began to say in a pleading tone. "Please use your Medical Ninjutsu to save her. Our comrade doesn't have long to live!" He soon begged.

"Put your hands to you chest and think" "Think about what you weren't able to accomplish. . .alright?"

"We risked our lives working for you. . .to help you, Orochimaru-sama. In order to restore the Fūma Clan!" Kamakiri reminded.

"Please recognize our work!" Jigumo soon begged.

The Snake Sannin however just smirked. "You'll just have to atone for you failure with your bodies." Orochimaru stated in an amused tone.

Startled by this, both of the Fūma Clan shinobi's could only look at each other and then nodded as they agreed with an unspoken decision.

"Orochimaru-sama!" Kamakiri began while taking out a kunai

"I'm sorry for the betrayal!" Jigumo added as he also prepared himself.

Then both attacked in unison ready to killed the infamous Nuke shinobi. However. . .

SLASH! SLASH!

In but a fraction of a second, both of them were struck by a seemingly invisible attack and they both fell to the ground.

The medical shinobi then look at the bodies and raised and eyebrow. "Orochimaru-sama, may I ask. Why didn't you killed them?" Kabuto questioned in a neutral tone while adjusting his glasses. He wasn't an elite medical shinobi for no reason as he easily saw that, while the wounds were severe, they weren't completely life threatening, so he was curious of his master's actions.

The former Snake Sannin merely let out a sinister chuckle at that. "Well, I was going to, but then I recalled that little pep talk you gave them." Orochimaru responded with an amused tone as he looked at his right hand shinobi.

Kabuto briefly thought about that as his eyes slightly widened. "Oh!" He got out as he finally recalled what his master meant and smiled with a devious expression.

Flashback no jutsu!

It was a few weeks before the start of the Chunin exams, Orochimaru and the rest of his shinobi army had been mobilized to Konoha to prepare for the invasion. The Trio members of the Fūma clan were kneeling before the Snake Sannin's right hand man.

"Well most of the Oto Shinobi had already left for Konoha." Kabuto informed as he gave the Fuma trio a smile. "Orochimaru-sama had giving you the honor of safeguarding the Land of Sound." He then revealed.

"!?" The Fūma Trio raised their heads as they were left shocked at this revelation.

As if was expecting this, the medical shinobi's smile turned a bit more sinister. "And since Orochimaru-sama had been quite pleased with your loyalty, he has given me permission to reward you with something. . .special." Kabuto vaguely informed as he took out something from his inner pocket.

"?" The Fūma Trio slightly lean forward and saw that the medical shinobi had a glass container with three strange pills inside.

Kabuto then smirked as he shook the container a little. "These will allow you to fulfill your dream of restoring your clan. However it's only a prototype, but if things proceed better in the development . . ." He soon informed while adjusting his glasses. "Orochimaru-sama will give all of your clan one each a perfect variation." He then revealed as he opened the container and lean it toward the kneeling shinobi.

The Fuūma's trio expressions turn to pure joy as they stare at what could potentially revive their clan. They now knew that their decision of following the Snake Sannin was the right choice as they each took a pill.

"We swear that will not let Orochimaru-sama down!" Kamakiri responded.

"Yes, I know you'll do just fine. However be sure to only use it as a last resort, it's to protect the Land of Sound from intruders." Kabuto then instructed. "After all. . .we don't want to lose any of you. . ." He concluded with a sinister tone in his voice.

To that, the Fūma trio felt elated that they were that important to the Snake Sannin, motivating them to prove that they were worth it. And with a quick reply they vanished via Shuhin.

After the Fūma Trio had left, the smile on the Snake Sannin's right hand man face soon turned into a vicious and devilish smirk as he adjusted his glasses.

KAI!

"Now then, you gave them such a promise of power, wouldn't it be rude that they didn't at least use it once. . ." Orochimaru soon declared as a wicked grin came across his face.

"Oh you are indeed correct Orochimaru-sama, that would be rude of me." Kabuto replied as he then looked to the side. "Wouldn't you agree Danzo-sama. . .Sakura-chan?" He then questioned towards the deeper darkness with a smirk on his face.

After the last of the combatants had died, the kunoichi in question simply look at the bespectacled man and shrug while her eyes flashed a greenish-yellow. "I do not care, they simply want to be strong and recover their clan's honor and pride, than they should do so with their own hands. They are not worthy of any sort of power if they solely rely on others for everything." Sakura replied with calm and compose tone while drops of blood began to fall from her kunais and her bloodied clothes that consisted of a simple white robe.

The sounds of footsteps could be heard from the shadows as the Warhawk came into the room. "Wise words, my apprentice." Danzō responded in a nod.

Orochimaru meanwhile in amusement to the response. "Indeed it was, such a flexible mindset on par with my own." He meanwhile praised with a smirk coming across his face.

"Thank you masters." Sakura replied as she bowed to them. "I am unworthy Orochimaru-sama, Danzō-sama of your praise." She then added in an obedient manner, though she had a small smirk of satisfaction on her face.

"Kukuku~ Now my dear, I believe that you need to get back to your training, you have much to learn about how to use your new power properly~" Orochimaru then instructed as he licked his face.

"Of course Orochimaru-sama." Sakura replied with another bow before vanishing into the darkness.

Kabuto soon adjusted his glasses once more as he smirked in amusement. "Sakura-chan is proceeding well, her wickedness and cruelty is impressive, yet she's very straight forward that is a sight to behold." He soon admitted.

"Indeed. In the meantime Kabuto," Orochimaru started. "Were you able to retrieve any samples for the Sound Three after they took the perfected pills?" He then questioned.

The medical shinobi could only let out a sigh of disappointment. "Unfortunately, it was the same results as all the other test subjects." Kabuto informed. "Any of the test subject's remains goes through a complete body destabilizing and liquidization after death." He then added in slight annoyance.

Though he didn't physically show it, the former snake Sannin was also disappointed. "That is indeed unfortunate." Orochimaru responded.

Kabuto meanwhile narrowed his eyes as he recalled something. "However there was an. . .odd occurrence." He then started, getting the Sannin's attention. "While I did found that both Jirōbō and Kidōmaru both had melted into a liquid form when they were defeated, however there were no remains of Tayuya. . ." He continued while having a puzzled expression. "While I did found traces of a massive fire explosion, meaning she transformed into firebase transformation, I still find it odd that I didn't found any remains." He then concluded.

This report in turn didn't left a good impression on the former Snake Sannin and he hasn't survive this long if he didn't listen to his instincts. "Hmm. . .I want you to investigate this more. While the chance of Tayuya surviving are close to zero. If she died, so be it, but if she somehow survive, I want to know. I don't want to leave anything to chance." Orochimaru soon ordered.

"I shall do as you command." Kabuto replied as he chuckled with his irritable tone. "However, in the very end, all of the original Sound Five members were a complete failure." He soon admitted with a demeaning tone.

"Now, now, don't be like that Kabuto, at least they did something good by bringing Sakura to our side, which immensely move forward for the U.O.S.W. Project." Orochimaru praised the deceased member of his former Elites.

"My apologies." Kabuto immediately responded, though it was clear that he didn't mean that in the slightest.

The rogue shinobi chuckled once more before he leaned his head on his hand, holding back a wince from the pain in his arms. "However, it appears that if we want more data, we will have to have someone observe each time the test subject takes a pill from now on. . ." Orochimaru soon stated.

"You don't need to worry about that." The former Leader of ROOT stated. "I have a perfect candidate for observing each experiment." He then revealed.

"Hmm~ Ah! You meant one of your new promising recruits, correct?" Orochimaru questioned he then smirked. "Very well, I'll leave it to you then, partner." He then encouraged.

The old Warhawk, merely slightly scoffed as he turned around and disappeared into the shadows.

Kabuto in turn chuckled to that. "It seems as though the future will be an interesting one for us." He remarked in amusement.

"Indeed it will be. . ." Orochimaru replied in his own twisted amusement as plans for the future came to his mind that would fulfill his ambitious.

Within Konoha. . .

"ACHOO!" Tayuya suddenly sneezed as she sat against the edge of the porch in the Inuzuka's state. "Fuck, some asshole must be talking about me. . .and with my luck, its probably that pedo. . ." She muttered in annoyance before looking at the clear skies.

Though it had been a few days since the former Elite Oto kunoichi had stayed in Konoha, she hadn't felt safe. She would still glance around from time to time, thinking that someone might be watching her, other than the ANBU or Inuzuka Clan members keeping an eye on her, from the former Snake Sannin's lackeys and tell him that she had survived.

"Hopefully those fuckers still think I'm dead. . ." Tayuya then muttered to herself, unaware of some cold sweat running down the side of her head as well as her body shivering a little.

The kunoichi tried and failed to calm down her anxiety, she tried thinking of anything that would keep her mind busy or distracted, but coming short. The more she couldn't find something, the more anxious she became as a result.

Finally she let out a low groan and gave up as she leaned herself back on the edge of the porch and close her eyes. She took in another deep breath, she held it in for a few seconds before she exhaled it, unintentionally releasing a small flame wisp as a result that faded almost immediately into the air.

"Arf!?" Which also unintentionally scared some puppies and dogs near her.

Then after finally relaxing, somewhat, a hum escaped the dark pink haired girl's lips, which soon followed by another and then another. This caused a small sequence of humming that created a very soft and calming sound that once more gained the attention of the dogs and puppies.

As that continued on, Kiba and Akamaru happened to walk by as he saw her. "Hm?" He got out as the two partners then heard her humming. "Huh, not bad. . ." He had to admit as he then smirked in a slightly impressed tone.

Akamaru then let out a soft groan as he moved his head towards the sound. "That sounds really nice." Was what Kiba heard as he and even some of the once frightened puppies were now listening to the soothing humming.

The Inuzuka then slowly walked towards the still humming dark pinked haired teen and stopped to listen to it. It was very calming, completely the opposite to the loud, rude and pouty mouth that the girl usually is, so it was very surprising to say the least.

After the kunoichi had finally ended her humming, she opened her eyes, only to narrowed them as he saw the Inuzuka. "Ah great him again, just when I finally calmed myself." She thought to herself with great annoyance.

"That's a nice tune." Kiba admitted, getting the girl's attention immediately to the compliment he sat down beside her as the puppy jumped onto his lap. "You really like music huh?" He then guessed more then asked.

"What, something wrong with me liking music?" Tayuya however remarked as she narrowed her eyes. "I used a flute for my attacks using my Dokis remember? So it should be obvious I know how to play it." She then reminded with a condescending manner.

"R-Right, there's no problem. . ." Kiba got out in an awkward manner to remembering that as he then tried to change the subject. "Wait, those giants you summoned are called Dokis?" He then asked with a raised eyebrow.

Tayuya however sighed in annoyance to that. "Were." She bluntly countered.

"Huh?" Kiba got out in confusion while his partner tilted his head while having a puzzled expression.

The dark pinked haired teen's eye slightly twitch as she tried to control her irritation. "I said, were. As in I can't summon them anymore." Tayuya soon revealed in a tone filled with frustration.

Kiba however raised an eyebrow to hearing that. "Hows that possible? I thought summons were bound by you for life." He responded as he then recalled what had happened to the former Snake Sannin. "If you don't break their contracts that is." He then added.

This caused Tayuya to be mildly surprised by the boy's words. "Wow~ Look at you actually knowing shit about summons." Tayuya then sarcastically remarked.

The puppy couldn't help but let out an amused raspy chuckle as he couldn't help but agree with the kunoichi..

"Ah shut up, I'm not a complete idiot. Mom and sis made sure to drill me that most important stuff that actually matter." Kiba countered to both the kunoichi and his partner in annoyance.

"Anyways. . .I don't know how but I can't summon them anymore." Tayuya finally stated with annoyance at being unable to use her summons. "The big breasted Hokage made sure to see if I could still use any jutsus or skills after my body. . .change." She added with a hollow and emotionless tone.

". . ." Both Kiba and Akamaru meanwhile remained silent as they looked at the dark pink haired girl with sympathetic expressions.

Tayuay then quickly returned to her normal annoyed self as she leaned back on her sit. "Long story short, found out that after the change, I lost the contract to the Doki summons." Tayuya bluntly concluded.

To hearing that, the Inuzuka poundered a for a bit as an idea came to mind. "Can't you just sign the contract again?" Kiba then asked.

Tayuya however rolled her eyes to that. "Oh sure I can~ I just have to ask the fuckin' pedo, because he has the fuckin' contract." She immediately countered with irritation clear in her tone..

SMACK!

The small puppy couldn't help but smack his little paw onto his head. "Well you messed up there dude. . ." Akamaru said to his partner.

"Oh. . ." Kiba got out as he realized he put his foot in his mouth. "My bad." He soon apologized.

"Doesn't matter really in the end, because that just means I have one less thing that associate me with him." Tayuya remarked as she looked to the side. "That just means I'll have to find another way to fight now. . ." She then admitted, but there were clear signs of sadness in her voice.

". . ." Once again the two partners remained silent to this as the Inuzuka knew not to try saying anything to that.

Tayuya then stood up as stretched her back. "Well I'm tired of seeing dog breath and your pouch, so going for a walk around the state." She remarked as she walked off with a cocky smirk on her face, though faded when she turned away from the young Inuzuka.

Kiba meanwhile decided not to follow the kunoichi, call the boy insensitive or not the brightest of the bunch, but even he knew when someone needed personal space. So he let out a sigh and wondered how could he help her relax a bit more as he relaxed himself as well.

As changes occur, both good or bad, no one will truly know what the future will hold. No matter how much anyone tries to predict it, nothing is truly set in stone.

Excellent work on this chapter and man a lot of crazy stuff went down on this chapter though I am surprised you decided to do the filler episodes from the Naruto anime series but thank you for doing one of my favorites it was very funny and man Kiba and Taunya are going to have so much fun together :p

JG: Well yeah, we wanted to make it so there would be more character developments during the time in between the last chapters of Part 1 Naruto, aka the events that were created in the anime being the filler arc. I know most people don't like them for obvious reasons, but we see them as opportunities to expand upon, so don't expect everything to be cut, copy and paste of the originals. There will be many surprises in store.

F2P: Yeah, because we want more of the side characters to have more time to shine and develop. But also don't think it's just for that, because like we said before, each filler WILL have something (at least one thing) that will be added to the main story later on.

JG: Yeah, this one involving developments for some key characters.

F2P: For who and how it will happen? Well. . .that would be telling. XD And for my review from Leaf Ranger!

I...honestly do not like naruto, Satsuki, and hinata parts of this chapter for the most part. Mostly because it doesn't make any sense. Why are they being left to decide how their training progresses? Why are they acting so defeated because the methods they were using to train didn't somehow make them capable of handling enemies who were mid jounin AT MINIMUM and who turned into freaking S-ranked monsters? these kids don't need to be thinking that way, they need to be made to understand that they've been shinobi for not even a full year yet. they need to be properly guided and trained by their sensei, not given vague suggestions and left to their own devices. Their training methods were fine, they were just thrown into a mission that even in canon they never should have been assigned to, let alone what you did in this fanfic.

That part just honestly feels really forced and not organic at all. they're acting depressed and like somehow they can't possibly continue being shinobi if they don't change their training methods when they isn't the problem at all. the problem is they're kids who haven't been shinobi that long who just came back from a mission that would make veterans shudder in fear and PTSD. I'm not saying they can't use more variety or new training methods, but they need to stop acting like it's the end of the world if they don't do it. It just doesn't feel right for them to be reacting that way to all of this. *Shrugs* Sorry, but that part honestly bothered me a lot in this chapter, them freaking out so badly and then Tsunade and Jiraiya acting like it was some ultra bad thing as well. Jiraiya should have told them to stop freaking out and instead grow from the experience, not giving half vague suggestions on what they might be able to do.

That was one of my biggest problems with Naruto, was that Kakashi and jiraiya didn't seem to bother properly training Naruto until clear into Shippuden. they just gave half-assed vague instructions and expected Naruto to do the rest. you're training kids to fight and possibly die, you need to be giving them dedicated, full instructions, not say 'do this, and sink or swim when it comes to learning it'. and that's what this feels like. Jiraiya's not actually helping them, he's just seeing a problem but nudging them along to fix it themselves rather then actually REALLY helping them, the way they actually NEED to be helped.

*sighs* sorry for the long criticism, but that honestly really did bother me. Just all the part with Naruto, Hinata, and Satsuki, them freaking out so much and nobody actually really fixing the problem, but instead seemingly freaking out as well. you don't fix someone with depression of anxiety by nudging them gently in a direction and hope they figure it out themselves, you sit down, have a talk, find out their problems, and you give them actual help that actually fixes things. *shrugs*

Otherwise, let's get to the rest of the chapter, which I enjoyed a lot more for the most part. I definitely see what you mean with tayuya, now she and Kiba will be spending lots of time together. As well as her dual personality there. That should prove very interesting. *is trying not to go into another rant about Tsunade and Tsume*

As for Ino...dang it, that's going to take forever to settle, isn't it? *sighs* guess I'll wait and see what happens on that front.

Sorry if my review comes off wrong, but like I said, the parts with team 7 just...I don't think they're being handled well here. It's your fanfic, but that's just my honest opinion.

F2P: Ok, first NO, it's no problem at all we thank you for giving us an honest and GOOD criticism, so don't feel bad. But anyways, yeah, now that we look back on it, we can see that we could have done the Trio's part a bit better and by better I mean WAY better. I can agree that it sounded forced and frankly it would have been WAY better to have Jiraiya explain what the Trio are going through in the way you said about them being kids facing situations a true veteran shinobi would face. Frankly it would have made the scene be a lot smoother and natural.

JG: Yeah, you win some, you lose some when it comes to writing. It just shows that even with future chapter, there will be times where we can rewrite it to improve it for the better. Hell, we'll even add your idea for when we get to remaster this chapter.

F2P: Because it was that good of an idea and we been kicking ourselves after reading your review. But anyways! Yeah! We knew that you guys would love that Tayuya and Kiba part! XD

JG: That was obvious! Those two are gonna be interesting in the future! Not to mention Tayuya's fear over Tsunade now! XD

F2P: And finally, Ino's part. . .yeah. . .that part WON'T be settled any part soon and lets just say it's going to be a long road ahead for her. But don't worry, lets just say that she'll have help for both her physical and mental wounds, who and how? Again, that will be telling. :3

JG: Which is what the fillers are for, recovery and development. Events will happen that no one will see coming.

F2P: Also, before we end this AN, I'd like to talk about a guest that was a bit, VOCAL, about some aspects such as Danzo's actions. Well all I have to say is this. . .your right.

What? Thought I was going to rage about it? Nope, we can admit when we're wrong, its true that some of those ideas they said during their COMMENTS (more like ranting. . .) may not have been well thought out and yeah some suggestions you made WOULD had made it much more interesting and make the situation way more serious and dangerous.

But truth be told, we never thought of those ideas, wish we did. And like we just wrote during Leafrangers review, at the end of the day, we're not the type to really go into that detail on EVERY part, we goof and miss out on using really cool ideas.

So while we don't agree how they said it, we do agree that in that part, we missed out making it the situation way more serious and could have been more intense. Won't say that it won't happen again, because we may do it again, but if you can't stand that, we're sorry, we're only human and we're just writing a FanFic so don't expect that we're doing a masterpiece with zero mistakes.

JG: Yeah, we're just doing what we can as human beings like everyone else in the world. And as a great person once said, Nobody's Perfect. (Not the song reference you think of! Hint: Skull) We are doing this for fun and entertainment others, but mainly for ourselves.

F2P: So again, if you like it awesome! But if you don't, then too bad, we're doing it for fun, it's not like we're getting paid (and no we're not), we're just writing this fic with all of its crazy and flaws ideas is our reward and however it turns out at the end, THAT will be our reward.

JG: Exactly, so say what you want, we won't be affected either way by rantings, we'll just read the comments and just discard the rantings and only use the VERY little good criticism as advice. Like the stuff from Leafranger's past review because that had some good criticism in the review he had placed for that chapter.

F2P: And well, those are my thoughts, whether you take this as simply me ranting, that's up to you, I gave my piece and was honest about it, hope you'll still read our fic, if not, then thanks for giving it a chance at least.
