Chapter 65: From One Fight to Another
Inside the abandoned building. . .
SLASH! SLASH! FWOOSH! SLAM!
The sound of intense battles and wailings of creatures echoed throughout the building as the kunoichis were each fighting a small group of mutated shinobis. Although the creatures outnumbered, they still lacked both intelligence and teamwork, which made their assaults less than successful to the skills and teamwork of the kunoichis.
However, even with these advantages the kunoichis still fought with caution as their numbers could still pose a threat.
The female Hyuga was fighting by herself, by first delivering quick jabs onto their exposed areas, rendering unable to move, and then delivering powerful gentle kicks towards their vital area, such as their hearts and head.
Regardless of where however, it caused too much damage for their bodies to take and exploded into goo. This caused the bluenette to narrow her eyes with a suspicious gaze. "I know I hit vital areas. . .however, how come they still dissolve this easily? Come to think of it, the ones in Rice were the same. . ." Hinata wondered in a concerned manner. "I have to make sure to report this to Tsunade-sama after we deal with them and Mizuki." She then added before rushing to the next mutant.
SLASH! SPLAT! SLASH! SPLAT! SLASH! SPLAT!
Meanwhile, the duo swordswomen dashed around the area while delivering quick slashes, cutting either their claws or their heads, either way, it caused too much damage for their bodies to take, dissolving into goo.
The blue/silver haired swordswoman stopped in between two mutated shinobis for a second and then with a quick draw of the blade, she instantly vanished. . .
SLICE! SLICE! SPLAT! SPLAT!
Only for the swordswoman to reappear right behind them as the two monster's heads were sliced in half the moment she was resheading her blade, causing them to explode into goo.
Then the remains of the monsters slowly flowed towards the girl. "Ugh, disgusting. . ." Yami got out as she narrowed her eyes at the sight as she took a single step away from the puddle of bubbling goo.
On the other hand, the blue-silver haired swordswoman's partner was having no time to even care about the goo. "Why! Won't! They! Stop! Coming!" Satsuki grunted out in frustration as she kept hacking, slashing and slicing through the mutants.
Meanwhile, both Nina and Okki rushed towards a mutated shinobi at full speed, they did a rolling jump, spun quickly in midair and then delivered a downward paw strike/drop kick onto the monster's head with enough force to stun him.
Then the two sisters landed next to the dizzy monster and slightly kneeled. "Paw Paw Punch!" Nina shouted as she and Okki proceeded to deliver an uppercut with their fist/paw to the stunned monster, sending it flying upwards.
"AWOOOO!" Okki howled out with a victorious smirk on her face.
Once the mutated shinobi was out of the way, suddenly a blur burst out of the nearby hole. "EBIIIII!" The creature shouted as it dive bomb towards the two.
"WAH!" Nina shouted in surprise as both she and Okki narrowly dodged the mutant's air attack.
Then another mutated shinobi suddenly burst out the same hole, which quickly landed next to the first one. "EBIIIII!" The two shrimp-like mutants roared as they rushed at the two sisters.
"Another one one!" Nina shouted as she began running away with her arms raised above her head while Okki was right behind her.
"EBIIIII!" Then the sound of even more mutated shinobi began to echo throughout the multiple holes around the building. To which was followed with the emergence of even more of them soon after.
At the sight of more mutated shinobi, the younger looking shinobi jumped in fright. "Wah! More more shrimp!" Nina exclaimed while the Os Trio growled, hissed and chirped at the sight, before they continued running away in another direction.
Meanwhile the rest of the kunoichis let out annoyed groans at that. "Oh come on!" Satsuki whined, as she was more vocal of how annoyed she was at this point.
Once the blue-silvered haired swordswoman, pushed back her irritation, she quickly pondered their situation. "Just how many of these creatures were hiding in this place?" Yami soon questioned in a concerned manner.
Then Hyuga activated her Byakugan and checked not only the area, but the area below as well. This caused her eyes to widen when she saw at least fifty creatures trying to escape through the holes while the rest were trying to create other holes to escape, not only being underground, but also the building itself.
This caused the bluenette's mind to arrive at a horrible realization. "There's many more of them below us and they're trying to escape this place!" Hinata soon revealed in shock.
"What!?" Yami exclaimed in disbelief.
"You gotta be kidding me!" Satsuki got out in shock.
All of the kunoichis, save for the smallest members of the group, who were still running from mutated shinobis to payed attention to the Hyuga, immediately realized that this wasn't a situation like in Rice, it was a serious and dangerous situation that could bring an outbreak of mutated shinobis into their village.
"We can't allow them to get to the village!" Hinata soon declared as she quickly began to formulate a plan. "Satsuki-chan! Yami-chan, you two will handle the ones inside the building, while Nina-chan and myself we'll take care of those that are trying to escape!" She then ordered.
"Got it! We'll wipe them out before they even get a chance to get out!" Satsuki responded with a nod.
"Agreed, for the safety of everyone." Yami began as she turned towards Nina, who finally managed to kick away her pursuers and stopped in front of the group. "Nina-chan, be careful." She then ordered her teammate.
The smaller kunoichi merely smiled happily and raised a hand. "Sure sure! We got this!" Nina declared with a nod along with Os Trio.
The bluenette smiled and nodded at that, before she got serious. "We have our roles, let's move out!" Hinata got out as he rushed towards the exit.
"Yeah!" Nina cheered, pumping a fist into the air as she and Os Trio ran after the bluenette.
Once the two kunoichis had exited the building, Yami readied her katana once more. "And now, we continue. . ." She declared, chakra coating her blade as a result.
"Let's take these freaks down!" Satsuki also declared, readying her tantō and coating it with chakra.
And thus, the two charge right through, with the full intention of fulfilling their role.
SLASH! SLICE! SLASH!
Within the trees. . .
WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
Four figures were dashing through the trees at high speed with complete focus as they continued moving. Then the lights of the sun revealed to be Naruto's group along with the young woman called Tsubaki.
During the long pause that was because of the pursuit, the young woman took that opportunity to tell them about her relationship she had with Mizuki, of how they met and how they became lovers.
Meanwhile the two males chunin listened intently to her story and just couldn't believe that the same kind person in her story was the same person they were in hot pursuit. But deep down, they both knew just how low and despicable the traitor truly was, so they knew that however he behaved, it was nothing more than him just deceiving the poor woman.
". . ." However they decided not to voice said thoughts as it would no doubt hurt the young woman very deeply.
After a few more minutes of running through the forest, the young woman couldn't help but look back. "Are you sure those girls will be alright fighting off those monstrosities?" Tsubaki soon questioned in a concerned manner as she had never before seen such abominations to life.
Whether intentionally or not, this question managed to change the mood the group was under, as the blonde chunin couldn't help but smile nonchalantly. "Don't worry, we already dealt with those monsters before, so they'll be just fine." Naruto simply replied without a hint of concern, knowing full well that the kunoichis would be just fine.
"I see. . ." Tsubaki could only reply with a worried tone as she couldn't help but wonder if she should feel relief or concern that such young children should have experience with such things.
After all, it was one thing to deal with life and death situations against the forces of nature or dealing with other shinobis from a rival village, but dealing with literally hell spawn creatures? Even seasoned shinobis that had years of experience would find the notion very concerning.
Which said sentiments were equally shared with the older Chunin. "Just how many strange encounters have you three have met since the last time I saw you?" Iruka asked with a concerned tone.
This caused the blond chunin to look at his surrogate older brother with half close eyes as he recalled all the crazy things he and his team had met during his first year of being a shinobi. "Too many Iruka-sensei. . .too many. . ." Naruto retorted with a deadpan tone as his eyes were as dead as a fish.
To which made the man in question to remain silent and not ask anymore as he knew he touched a sore subject. "I'll ask more during ramen." Iruka thought to himself as he thought giving the blond his favorite food may be a more appropriate time to ask for more.
Meanwhile the young woman looked very saddened and with a hint of shame. "I'm so sorry though, this is the second time now that Mizuki has caused you trouble." Tsubaki eventually apologized in a guilt filled tone.
". . ." Iruka could only frown sadly at the young woman as he could see just how conflicted and remorseful she was feeling from her lover's actions.
On the other hand the blond chunin continued looking forward. "Whatever trouble or actions Mizuki have caused to us or the village, it's his fault, not yours." Naruto however stated in a serious and determined tone as he didn't want to put the blame on the young woman for the traitor's selfishness.
"But still. . ." Tsubaki however started as her voice was still filled with guilt.
It was then the older chunin shook his head. "You're already doing something that Mizuki would have never done, taking responsibility for whatever actions they have done." Iruka interrupted with a computational tone. "You may have helped him before, but now you're helping us stop him. Whether it is something small or big, that's a start in the right direction." He concluded while giving a kind smile before looking forward once more.
That meanwhile was taken back by the kindness in the man's words that caused the woman to blush to that statement and simply nodded, not having the courage to look him in the eyes.
Naruto on the other hand noticed that and couldn't help but place his hand on his mouth to muffle his chuckles. "Huh. . .who knew Iruka-sensei had a way with the ladies?" He thought in amusement.
It was then that the small dog's nose twitched trying and failing to detect the traitors' scent. "In any case, you're sure we're going in the right direction?" Pakkun soon questioned in confirmation as he still couldn't detect the enemy's scent, much to his annoyance.
For some reason, the small dog couldn't find the traitors scent ever since their last encounter in the abundant building. At first he thought it was simply the man had made sure to erase his scent like any shinobi would, something he had encountered in his many years with the silvered haired chunin. So the rest of the members of the group didn't put the blame on the small shinobi hound.
". . ." However the small pug couldn't help but feel that it was more than just that, it was as if the traitor's scent had simply ceased to exist which made him feel very uneasy.
"Hai, please continue to proceed just like this." Tsubaki responded with a nod of confirmation.
"Tsubaki, do you know exactly what Mizuki is planning?" Iruka meanwhile asked in a concerned manner.
"Any info, no matter how small, could be of great help." Naruto also stated in a more serious tone.
The young woman took a few moments to ponder this until her eyes slightent widened as a thought came to mind from her last interaction with her former lover before he was caught because of the scroll incident.
"Probably, although I'm not completely sure if this is the reason." Tsubaki replied, albeit a bit unsure herself. "In the past, he told me that he desired to obtain Orochimaru's power and planned that he would go to where he is." She soon revealed.
That in turn caused the two Chunins and the ninken's eyes to widen, before the blond shinobi grinded his teeth. "So he wants power from the pedo, just great." Naruto growled out with great irritation. "Should've figured out that Orochimaru was involved in this since those monsters were his creations." He then added.
Then a thought came to the older chunin's mind. "When did he tell you about that?" Iruka soon asked.
Upon hearing that simple question, Tsubaki's shoulders flinched, before she looked slightly down. "It was. . .a few days before he stole the Scroll of Sealing. . ." She hesitantly and shamefully revealed as she looked away slightly out of guilt.
Iruka's eyes soon widened once more in shock upon hearing that. "But that's-" He started as he glanced towards the blond.
"You gotta be kidding me. . .Orochimaru was also involved with the attempt of stealing the Scroll of Sealing!?" Naruto asked with shock and anger at the thought of him of all people obtaining such a dangerous scroll.
Tsubaki however shook her head in response. "Only to a minor extent, as it was more so that Mizuki wanted to give the scroll to Orochimaru as an offering to gain the power he promised to give him." She then confirmed.
This managed to calm the two male chunin as they let out a sigh of relief, however they still found the part of the former Sannin giving the traitor some sort of power to be more concerning. "Still, what sort of power does he want from that madman?" Iruka eventually asked.
Suddenly the memory of Team Seven's battle with the mutated Fūma Clan shinobi came to the blond shinobi's mind and made him frown. "I think I got a pretty good idea. . ." Naruto thought to himself with a serious tone.
Tsubaki however shook her head in response. "I wish I could tell you, but I'm not even sure when he crossed paths with Orochimaru." She replied. "But I am positive that those answers lie ahead." She then added.
There was a long moment of silence between the group, mostly so as to process what they just learned and what their next step should be.
"Naruto, now that there's a possibility that Orochimaru may be involved, we should request for more backup." Iruka soon advised and not surprisingly, caused the blond to frown. "This is more serious than our personal history with Mizuki. And I will not let that cloud my judgement." He then declared in a serious tone.
". . ." Naruto in turn said nothing to that, knowing his former sensei was right on the matter.
"Excuse me." Tsubaku however got out, getting the attention of the two. "I don't think Orochimaru is directly involved, well not presently." She soon revealed. "While I don't know what he wants to do, I believe Mizuki is only doing all of this of his own will." She then informed, saddened to the man's decisions.
This caused the two chunin to calm down and began to think with a cooler head. Then the two realized that the former Sannin couldn't be involved in this situation. Both began to recall when the former snake summoner had been involved with Konoha.
The older chunin thought that since it was much too close to the village, the traitorous Sannin wouldn't risk being near the village after the invasion or after sending his grunts to retrieve his new pupil. So he realized that he wouldn't try to risk trying anything a third time in such a short amount of time.
And the younger chunin recalled that the last encounter with said rogue shinobi had been just a few days. The kunoichi's close encounter with the nuke level shinobi was more so bad luck and a coincidence than anything else. And besides, the pre-teen knew that the man wouldn't risk getting involved with the likes of Mizuki that didn't help or serve anything beneficial for himself.
After thinking it over, the older chunin finally made up his mind. "Alright, we'll continue the mission as we are." Iruka soon decided. "However if we do find any signs of Orochimaru being personally involved, we're aborting the mission, no objections." He then added with a dead serious tone as he was not taking any talk backs from the younger chunin, as much as he cares for the blond, he wouldn't risk putting both of them in needless risk against the nuke shinobi.
"Hai!" Naruto quickly replied as he was glad that he could still settle things with the traitor. "And while it's a long shot, Mizuki-teme still might have a way to contact that snake that we can use to find him. And if we're lucky we can also find that old bastard Danzō." He thought to himself as he then narrowed his eyes. "Haruno too." He then added.
WOOSH! WOOSH! WOOSH! WOOSH!
And with that the group's attention was now fully focused on tracking down the escapees and hopefully finding any lead that could lead to the rogue nuke Sannin.
Within the Hokage's Office. . .
To say that the Hokage was frustrated by the recent events was an understatement. Ever since discovering what appeared to be a potion formula of sorts from the file review on Mizuki, she had been trying to figure out what the formula was exactly. However, as if it was an insult to her medical knowledge, she just couldn't figure out its purpose which only caused her to feel more annoyed.
But now. . .
"What!? The Nara Clan's Research Facility came under attack!?" Tsunade questioned in disbelief as she learned this new information.
The shinobi that reported this information simply stood at attention to the Hokage. "From the reports and the description of his appearance, we have concluded that the fugitive Mizuki was the one who had entered the facilities and stolen several medical components." He soon revealed.
The Hokage put a hand on her forehead, trying to keep the headache from worsening. "What in the world are they doing letting him get away with these incidents?" Tsunade mentally questioned in growling frustration. "What was stolen?" She eventually asked.
"Well, the Nara went to great lengths to keep track of every substance they use." The reporting shinobi started as he approached the Hokage. "They were able to determine immediately which substances were stolen." He concluded as he placed a paper on her desk.
The female Hokage took a deep breath to calm down, once she did so, she looked at the list of medical components that were stolen. Then she couldn't help but look at the formula she had previously studied. "So they do match." She muttered to herself. "Thank you. You may go." She eventually responded.
"Hai!" The shinobi replied as he gave a quick bow and vanished via shushin.
"Now what in the world is that fool thinking exactly?" Tsunade then added in her head as she put down both papers. "It obviously has to do something with this formula." She concluded in her head. "Tch, it was clever for him to target the Nara Clan's institute." She soon admitted.
It was very common knowledge that, besides the Nara's use of their Shadows and their keen intelligence, they were also known for owning a unique forest in the Land of Fire that had equally unique deers. The antlers of these deers were highly valued as the village used them for many medical purposes.
"Not only is there an abundance of narcotics stored on site, there's practically no security since it's hold up in the mountains." Tsunade then explained the finer details as narrowed her eyes. They were able to determine what was missing immediately." He then revealed. "But the bigger question is, what does this formula do and what does he plan to do with it when finished?" She then muttered in growing frustration to the mystery at hand.
However, this frustration only served to motivate the blonde Hokage to the origin and purpose of the formula as she began to continue to research the key ingredients and find a possible solution.
Inside the abandoned building. . .
CLASH! SPLAT! SLASH! SPLAT! BAM! SPLAAT!
The sounds of clashes continued to echo throughout the area, the two swordswoman had also been in constant battle against the hoard of mutants that seemed to constantly come out from underground.
Each and every one of the mutated shinobis would either rush towards the kunoichi to attempt to kill them or try to escape the building. However none of them had even a single shred of cooperation, so their numbers meant nothing to the two kunoichi's skills and were easily slain.
After slashing through another mutant, the ravenette quickly made a scan and saw that she hadn't seen more of them coming out of the many holes in a long while. "These are the last ones!" Satsuki called out. "Yami-chan! With me!" She then ordered.
"Hai!" Yami responded with a nod as they rushed forward with their blades at the ready.
As the last of the hoard made one final rush at the two, the swordswoman seemingly vanished and reappeared right behind the hoard and then. . .
SLASH! SLICE! SLASH! SLICE!
After the last barrage of sounds of their blades slicing through scaly crustacean bodies, there was a long moment of silence as all noise inside of the building simply ceased to exist.
Meanwhile outside the building. . .
At certain sections just outside the walls of the building, the dirt slowly began to budge and with each passing second, it moved more and more until. . .
SMASH!
"EBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" Three mutated shinobis screeched loudly from the burrow. Each jumped out of the hole and let out a triumphant screech as they finally managed to escape its confinement, until. . .
WHOOSH! STAB! WHOOSH! STAB! WHOOSH! STAB!
"Ebi?" The three confused mutants could only get out as they all shot with an arrow straight in their head and then. . .
SPLAT! SPLAT! SPLAT!
All three mutated shinobis instantly bursted into a pile of disgusted goo. And just a few feet away above a tree that was just outside the monster's view was the bluenette who had just shot her arrows and done the deed.
"Three more down!" Hinata called out as she quickly pulled out another arrow and took aim once again.
Thanks to her Kekkei Genkai, the female Hyuga was always ready and waiting to ambush the mutated shinobis just before they managed to escape. And for the most part, this tactic had successfully ambushed many would-be escapee mutants and halting their escape. However. . .
SMASH! SMASH! SMASH!
"EBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" There were many more mutated shinobi that were bursting out from multiple burrows that the Hyuga just couldn't shoot them all down. But the bluenette didn't show much concern for this, why? Well. . .
On top of the mutated shinobis, there were small shadows slowly getting bigger and bigger. "Dive boom boom!" A young voice shouted right on top of the mutants followed by the sounds of animals.
"Ebi?" Was all the confused mutations could ask as they looked upwards.
WHAM!
The young appearing member of the Viper Squad acted like the wild card she and the Os Trio, who all had finally recovered enough for battle, landed on the mutants, causing them to be thrown back into the burrows. Then the sounds of struggles were then heard until the sounds of the mutated shinobi's screeches of death soon followed.
Soon enough, the young appearing girl and the animals popped their heads out of the holes each were covered in the same goo that were what remained of the mutants. "We beat the bad monsters!" Nina happily explained with a large grin on her face, minus the Os Trio who had annoyed expressions.
Once, the bluenette had used Kekkei Genkai to make sure no more mutants were trying to escape, she jumped off the tree and put her bow away. "Excellent work Nina-chan!" Hinata praised with a smile.
Nina's grin meanwhile never left her face as she gave a thumbs-up and a giggle. On the other hand, the small animal trio were busy cleaning themselves from the disgusting goo of their bodies.
Step. . .Step. . .
Then the sounds of footsteps began to emerge from the building's entrance. When the two kunoichi turned they smiled when they saw that the two swordsmen were exiting from the large hole that used to be the entrance. However the two did not look very happy or glad as they'd looked more annoyed than anything else.
"And. . .finished. . .'' Satsuki breathed out in relief before slightly cringing in disgust. "Ugh, definitely gonna need a bath after this dattebakon. . ." She then groaned out as she wiped the slime off her body.
". . ." While her fellow swordswoman didn't verbally reply, Yami merely sheathed her blade after expelling the goo with a single swing. However it was very clear that the annoyance, disgust and slightly irritability plastered on her face showed how she was feeling.
"We all are." Hinata admitted in agreement as the light-blue bordering on white haired girl did the same. "We should be glad though this stuff isn't corrosive." She then added with an ever so grateful tone.
"Indeed, that would have been more of an issue." Yami replied with a nod as she was very concerned at the thought of her beloved blade melting.
Nina meanwhile shook her body in a dog like manner as well as the Os trio. "Bleh, gross gross." She got out in disgust.
"Arf! Arf!" Okki barked out with a grossed expression on her face. "I would very much like a bath. . ." Was what she confessed.
"Rawr. . .meow. . .~" Ora meowed out annoyingly. "While I don't normally like taking baths or being near water, now however. . .I do. . .~" Was what was said.
"Chirp! Chirp!" Ori chirped out. "Bath Bath!" Was what she said while flapping her wings in anticipation.
"There's still one more thing we need to take care of." Satsuki soon stated as the other girls nodded in agreement.
Then the ravenette turned to look at the abandoned building and frown at it. ". . .Should we burn this place down?" Satsuki commented, which gained the attention of the group. "So no one can ever use it again." She then explained.
This made both the white/silvered and bluenette haired kunoichis to think and pondered for a while. "While I agree with the idea." Yami responded in agreement before shaking her head. "However, I think we should let Hokage-sama send someone here to investigate." She then suggested.
"I think so as well." Hinata replied in agreement. "While I doubt we may find any critical intel, with how little we know about the mutated shinobis. It's more vital that we gather any and all the information this place could provide." She then explained.
After thinking it over the ravenette nodded to her teammates. "Alright, if you both think that is the best idea, I'll send someone to Baa-chan." Satsuki replied as she bit her thumb and quickly went through the hand signs. "Summoning Jutsu!" She soon declared as she slammed her hand to the ground.
POOF!
Then a very familiar small purple snake appeared in front of the female Uchiha. "Greetings Ssssssatsuki-sssssama. How can I be of any asssssssistance?" Aodi greeted and questioned in a loyal tone.
"WAH! SNAKE!" Nina however yelped out, jumping onto the light-blue bordering on white haired girl.
"BARK! BARK!" Okki then began to loudly bark angrily at the small snake and growl in a low tone. Which confused both of her animal companions as the small wolf cub didn't say anything, it was merely barking and growling angrily in a feral manner.
"N-Nina-chan, calm down!" Yami struggled as she tried to get the young appearing girl off her head.
It took a few moments before Nina finally calmed down enough to loosen her grip and then a few more to finally let go of her teammate. However even when she did, she hid behind the young swordswoman. "I don't like snakes. . ." She mumbled out.
"Nina-chan. . ." Yami muttered with a concerned tone as she had never seen her animal lover teammate show such fear that was just borderline terror.
When the younger looking kunoichi briefly looked towards the small snake summon, she instantly hid behind her teammate. "Anko-neechii's being the only one I'm alright with." Nina clarified while still shivering nervously.
The sudden statement made her teammate do a double take as she sweatdropped. "Wait. . .did she just admit to seeing Anko-sensei like a snake?" Yami thought to herself in a confused tone.
Meanwhile the two companions of the wolf cub were trying to sooth her anger. "Rrow~!" Ora meowed out in a serious sounding tone. "Calm down Okki!" Was what she meowed out.
"Chirp! Chirp!" Ori chirped out in an alert manner. "Calm! Calm!" Was what was chirped out.
Whether it was the shouting or simply hearing the voice of her fellow companions, the small wolf cub's intense glare finally stopped and finally calmed down. "Grrr. . ." Okki growled out with a dark tone. "I despise snakes. . ." Was what she said.
Once the ravenette saw that things had finally calmed down, she turned towards her summon. "Aoda, we need you to go to Granny Tsunade and tell her about this place and have her send some people here." Satsuki soon requested.
Meanwhile the bluenette was quickly writing everything their team had learned on a small scroll. From their encounter with the Stupid Brothers, Mizuki and finally the near outbreak of Mutated shinobis. Then once she finished she kneeled down and gave it to the small snake.
The summon creatures slided forward and nodded/bowed. "Very well. Although my skills are minor and unimpressive, I will try my utmost best to accomplish this task as quickly as possible." Aoda humbly replied as he took and swallowed the scroll, causing both Nina and Okki to shiver in disgust and horror.
The ravenette smiled in return upon hearing her summon's reply. "We're counting on you Aoda." Satsuki responded with a nod.
Whoosh!
And with that, the small snake summon slided at rapid speed towards Konoha, determined to fulfill his mission as if his life depended on it.
"Yosh, come on, we need to catch up with Naru-kun and the others." Satsuki soon ordered.
To that, the other girls and the three animals nodded in agreement as they headed out with the Hyuga taking the lead.
They were definitely going to kick the traitor's ass for this.
Elsewhere in the forest. . .
"So how much further do you think we got?" Naruto soon asked the traitor's fiancée.
"We shouldn't be much farther, I just hope we can stop him from his insane plan." Tsubaki responded, concerned about filling her being.
"I still can't believe Mizuki would go this far though, just for power." Iruka confessed in disappointment. "Even using this prison escape as a means of cover." He then added.
"That's just making me wonder how the others are doing with the escapees." Pakkun soon confessed.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
"We'll just have to leave it to them to deal with the other prisoners while we deal with the instigator." Iruka soon concluded.
"Hell yeah." Naruto replied with a nod. "We're coming for ya Mizuki-teme!" He then declared while narrowing his eyes.
". . ." Tsubaki meanwhile remained silent as the group kept going, the guilt filled expression not leaving her face.
At the clearing. . .
Crack. . .Crack. . .Crack. . .
The sounds of cracking continued to echoed throught the forest as the large ice piller that encased the two Stupid Brothers were showing more signs of shattering at any moment.
"Troublesome. . .this is really bad. . ." Shikamaru admitted as he kept his hold on his jutsu.
"I don't think. . .I can hold them. . ." Haku struggled to get out as a large crack appeared on the pillar. "For much longer. . ." He then got out .
At the sight of the pillar breaking apart, even the young Akamichi knew that it was a matter of seconds, not minutes, that it would shatter. "This is bad. . ." Chōji got out with fear in his voice and made a mad charge at the ice pillar as he charged himself up with chakra. "Partial Expansion Jutsu! Both Hands!" He soon declared, his hands growing larger.
Once the Akamichi reached the encased Stupid Brothers, he used his large hands to hold them down as a despreate attempt to to keep the dangerous brothers trap. He knew that it was a foolish, correction, extremely stupid idea, but he also knew that if they got out, him and his teammates would be in a worst situation.
However. . .
CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!
It was a futile struggle as more and more cracks began to appear and the Akimichi could see the brother's bodies being able to move more than before. "Crap!" Chōji thought in a panic as he tightened his grip the best he could.
"Chōji! Don't do anything reckless!" Shikamaru shouted at his best friend while he continued desperately holding on to his jutsu.
". . ." However Chōji was too busy holding the ice pillar to even pay any attention to his best friend's words.
"Chōji, get away now!" Haku then ordered, however his voice also fell to deaf ears.
However at that moment. . .
CRACK! CRASH! SHATER!
It was at the moment that ice pillar completely shattered as the Stupid Brothers roared with fury. Sending everything around them flying everywhere. The three man team were no different as they too were also sent flying backwards. However it was the young Akimichi that stood his ground despite everything, but it was clearly seen that he had received some damage from this blast.
"Here we go again. . ." Haku and Shikamaru groaned at the same time.
And as if on cue, the two infuriated brothers roared in rage as they made a mad charge at the trio. Which said trio didn't even need to think about getting out of the way as the two brothers smashed the area they were last standing. However this time. . .
The two brother's gaze quickly zoomed in towards the trio and before the dust could settle down, it was dispearst by them jumping yet again at the, but only this time while they were still airborne.
Both the ice user and the chubby young teen's eyes widen in pure horror. "What!?" Haku got out in shock as they were unable to do anything to defend themselves.
Shikamaru quickly made several hand signs and conjured three shadow tendrils, which he used to grab both of his teammates. Then using the last one to grab a tree to pull all three out of the way, narrowly dodging what would have no doubt been a lethal blow
WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
Both of the Stupid Brother passed the trio and crashed into many trees, however they only toothpick against their massive and durable bodies as they all snapped like a twig.
The trio then safely landed on the ground as they took a moment to recover from the near death experience. "That was too close. . ." Shikamaru sighed out in brief relief.
"I thought I saw my life flash before my eyes. . ." Chōji got out with a nauseous tone. "Thanks Shikamaru." He then added in a grateful manner.
After taking a few deep breaths to calm down, the ice user nodded in agreement. "You have my thanks as well." Haku soon stated.
Then once they stopped they simply let another enraged filled roar blow the tree's remains away. The sheer pressure of their roar was so powerful that it could be felt all the way to the Konoha shinobis, forcing them to use their arms to block the shockwave.
"!?" The mighty roar that sounded more animalistic than human caused the Akimichi's eyes to widen in pure shock as a quick flash of memories briefly entered his mind, which caused him to stiffen as a statue
Although also affected by the brothers display of raw physical strength, the young Nara couldn{t help but let out a cold sweat to fall from his forehead. "Don't tell me they're really the types that get stronger and battle savvy when angerier." Shikamaru groaned out with great irritation in his voice.
"I'm starting to suspect they are." Haku grumbled in clear annoyance as he pulled out a handful of ice covered senbons on each hand.
"This is going to be really troublesome now. . ." Shikamaru couldn't help but add. "Looks like that blubber is probably more muscle than fat. . ." He grumbled about his deduction.
"And worse still as they are incredibly more durable. . ." Haku simplified while narrowing his eyes.
"Unfortunately." Shikamaru grunted out.
BOOM! CRASH!
However at that moment, the massive duo began going on a blind rampages as they started destroying everything around them
"BREAK BUGS!" Fūjin roared out loud with fury.
"ANNOYING BUGS!" Raijin also declared in anger.
"DESTROY BUGS FOR FEAST!" The two brothers soon declared at the same time.
BAM! SHATTER! CRASH! BOOM! CRASH! SHATTER! BAM! BOOM!
The two brothers then proceed to practically bulldoze their way through everything in their path. Whatever little reasoning they had before, were now gone and were now in pure fight or flight mode, and unfortunately for the Konoha shinobis, they were in flight mode. . .
This time they reached the young chunin in a manner of moments as the level the ground in their path. Which caused the three to not even bother to even consider blocking or defending which led to only one option left. "Scatter!" Shikamaru soon ordered, getting nods in response from the others and proceeded to head the command.
The brothers merely separated themselves and chased after the two nearest shinobis, which happened to be the Ice-Style user and the Akimichi.
Shikamaru then quickly kneeled down and tapped his fingers together, his usual habit for his more critical thinking methods. "Sorry guys, please hold on until I think of a plan. . ." He thought to himself as sweat began to drip down his face.
WOOSH! WOOSH!
Immediately, both the Ice-User and the young Akimichi rush through the forest while the two brothers are in hot pursuit after them.
CRASH! SMASH!
Knowing that even attempting to block or even being near them would cause fatal damage, the two Konoha shinobis decided to run and zigzag through any trees, boulders and anything as makeshift shields to somewhat stop their charge, if only for a moment.
And for the moment it worked well enough as the two brothers couldn't reach them, however. . .
CRASH! SMASH! CRASH! SMASH! CRASH! SMASH!
"CRUSH STUPID BUGS!" The two brothers bellowed with blind fury as this constant running away only served to fuel their anger, which caused even more destruction to follow suit as more and more trees were shattered to pieces by their relentless pursuit.
And all this destruction was beginning to affect the kind and nature loving ice user. "If they keep this up, they could destroy the area's ecosystem. . ." Haku muttered while narrowing his eyes. "How they were captured in the first place is beyond me." He then couldn{t help but wondered.
While the two Konoha shinobis were concerned about the area's continued destruction, this decision was the only option they could do to slow down the brothers and avoid another certain death blow from the two´s attacks.
"Doesn't mean that I can't add more obstacles as well!" Haku mentally decided while making some single handed hand signs. "Ice Style! Rising Arctic Pillars!" He thought to himself as a cold fog began to blanket the area around him.
SHINK!
Then as the older brother got closer, an ice pillar erupted right in front of him. But just like the sturdy trees, they instantly shattered to pieces.
CRASH! SHATTER!
More and more trees and pillars continued to be shattered by the brothers blind and immense strength, however because of the quantity of obstacles that blocked their path, it managed to, if only a little bit, slow the brothers' charge, enough for the ice user to keep a moderately safe distance from the enemy shinobi.
However for the young Akamichi´s side. . .
Chōji was having a much rougher time than his friend, since he was more of a close combat fighter he couldn't copy the same strategy. So all he could do was continue running while occasionally grabbing rocks and throwing them to the enraged brother.
Which only served to enrage the brother even further, causing his speed to reach explosive levels and make a mad charge forward after the young chuchin, to which practically obliterated anything that was in his way.
Thankfully, Chōji saw this coming just in time to narrowly dodged the Stupid Brother´s reckless charge. However unlike last time, the brother slid to a halt, and whether it was from annoyance or his blind rage, he took a deep breath and let out a loud beastly roar at the chunin, causing his eyes to widen in shock.
Suddenly, flashes of the sinister cries and cacklings of a terrifying creature resurfaced inside the young Akimichi´s mind. Then memories of his encounter with said creature also caused him to recall the overwhelming fear and terror he felt as well, which caused his breath to fasten and his eyes to dilate.
Chōji's hands soon enough slowly began to tremble. "P-Pills. . ." He muttered with a trembling tone as he began searching his pouch. "Where are the pills!?" He soon thought as he couldn't find the case that once held the tri-colored pills, breathing heavily and almost frantically as a thought.
From just a few dozen feet away, the ice user´s eyes widened when he saw his friend/student had suddenly had a panic attack. "Chōji! Calm down!" Haku meanwhile ordered.
The Akimichi however didn't hear him as suddenly in his ears, he began to recall the wicked sounds of the laughter of the mutated and almost immortal shinobi he barely survived against, causing him to hyperventilate as a result.
However this also caused him to stumble and almost trip over his feet as a result. Then sensing the defenseless chunin, both of the idiot brothers completely focus on the downed shinobi and make a mad dash towards him.
The ice user that was so focused on escaping was left baffled as to why the Stupid Brother had suddenly halted his relentless persuit, but when he saw his friend, his confusing turned into horror. "Oh no!" Haku shouted in distress as he rushed towards his friend.
"CHŌJI MOVE!" Shikamaru shouted, however his words fell to deaf's ears and his best friend remained unresponsive as he ran towards his best friend.
However it was too late as the two durable and idiotic brothers instantly reached the Akimichi and cocked back their mighty fist.
Suddenly everything around the area seemed to have slowed down, the two raging brothers' hammer fists slowly began to descend upon the still shell shocked Akimichi. Meanwhile the young Nara was desperately trying to reach out to his friend in vain.
However as the brothers were but a foot from reaching the young shinobi, a thin mirror seemingly manifested right beside the plump chunin as Haku came out of the mirror. Then with speeds that could rival the speed of sound, the ice-user held both his friend's head and shoulder, as he pushed him out of the way. He did it in this way so that the Akimichi wouldn't receive a whiplash or accidently break his neck from being pushed at such speeds.
And just as both chunins were out of the initial area they had been. . .
CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!
Both brother's fists hit the area where the Akamichi had stood, the ground exploded with a violent explosion of pure raw strength as a massive fissure was created in place as the two brothers then fell onto said new fissure.
WHOOSH!
Then a mini blizzard blew past the two chunin and quickly piled into a large blanket of snow, just in time for it to cushen their fall as they rolled harshly around said snow. While it didn't completely absorb the impact, it was enough to not suffer any heavy injuries or receive any internal damage from speeds that no normal human could handle.
"Ow. . ." However, that said impact was still harsh enough for the both of them to lay on the snow and feel very sore.
Meanwhile, at the sight of his two friends not showing any severe injuries, the young Nara let out a long sigh. "Oh, thank kami. . ." Shikamaru said with pure relief.
Then the ice user pulled his head out of the snow and looked absolutely livid, he turned towards the still dazed Akimichi. "CHŌJI AKIMICHI, THIS IS THE SECOND TIME NOW YOU ALMOST GOT YOURSELF KILLED IN A BATTLE! YOU NEED TO STOP BEING SO RECKLESS AND DOWN RIGHT SUICIDAL!" Haku shouted angrily at one of his temporary students for always almost getting himself killed, however by the concern expression on his eyes he was more concerned than angry.
Whether it was the shouting or the voice of his friend/sensei, the young Akimichi's eyes regained their focus and quickly looked around. He saw the massive crater and instantly recalled what the situation was and looked down in shame. "I-I'm. . .sorry Haku-sensei." Chōji soon apologized in shame and guilt.
It was at that moment that their third comrade landed next to them and with one single look at the two, he realized what had happened. "Don't blame Chōji, Haku. It's not his fault. . ." Shikamaru began.
"Hm?" Haku hummed out as he narrowed his eyes.
Shikamaru then quickly began to explain what had happened during the failed Retrieval mission. Of how he and his team faced terrifying abominations with strength that only a season Jonin would ever hope to defeat, let alone survive. And how some of their members were severely injured during their encounter with the Mutated Shinobies.
After the long explanation, the young ice user's expression slowly changed from angry, to confused and finally concerned and horrified. He had heard that their mission had ended in failure due to the rogue kunoichi being helped by elite shinobis sent by the former Snake Sannin, but he was never informed about the concept of Mutated Shinobis that this information came as a shock.
After all, how could the ice user have known? The Hokage had placed a gag order of what really happened during that mission and labeled it an S-Rank secret as she didn't want the public to learn about the Mutated Shinobies. However Shikamaru knew that while Haku was trustworthy enough to not spread this information, he would also be a Jonin soon enough and he would be privileged to that information the moment he received the rank.
". . ." After the young Nara had finally said everything he could, Haku couldn't say anything upon hearing that, after all he of all people knows just how a seriously dramatic past event can affect their mind. "Chōji. . ." He muttered, feeling sympathy for his friend.
Meanwhile the downhearted Akamichi couldn't only look down in dismay and distraught.
However at that moment. . .
WOOSH! WOOSH!
The sound of two forces were heard from the air before. . .
BOOM! CRASH! CRASH!
The two crashed to the ground, shattering the land around them as dust and debris was blown away from the surrounding area.
The massive shockwave also caused all of the nearby snow around the chunin to be blown away as well and forced the Konoha trio to cover their faces as they were slightly pushed back from the sheer power of the shockwave.
Immediately, the Ice-Style user's eye twitched at the sight. "OH COME ON!" Haku exclaimed in fear and frustration, finally snapping after getting tired of all of this happening.
"Troublesome. . .very very troublesome. . ." Shikamaru groaned.
Chōji however was speechless and paled at the sight.
Soon, the dust began to clear, the trio saw that the enraged brothers were now in the center of a massive barren crater with many trees around them had been blown back as a result of the impact.
At first, the two brothers were still in a crouched position, but then they slowly began to stand up. Once they were fully standing, the trio saw that the brother´s bodies had changed. Their faces somehow nearly contorted into a vicious oni-like mask without horns as their red bodies were now expelling an intense heat.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The two brothers soon roared out in feral fury, shaking the earth a bit as a result.
". . .And it just keeps getting worse. . ." Haku muttered, sweating to the sight as they prepared themselves.
Within the Hokage's Office. . .
"What!? Fujin and Raijin are with Mizuki!?" A booming loud shout echoed through the building, causing it to slightly shake.
It had been only a few minutes since the small snake summon had arrived at the Hokage's office, but it was very apparent by the Kage's shouting that he was successful with delivering the message.
"Not only that, but the rogue sssssshinobi brought them to a sssssecret lair with mutation creaturessssss." Aoda revealed with a calm and composed manner, completely unaffected by the blonde Hokage's temper.
Tsunade's face froze for a moment from the added information as she then held the bridge of her nose. "Every. . .single. . .time, that godson of mine and his team gets involved in something. . ." She thought to herself as she had long since known that her godson didn't just go out of his way to find trouble, but that trouble would 100% of the time, it would find him.
Meanwhile the other shinobi and ANBU in the room were concerned for the young chunins' well being now. "Tsunade-sama?" The shinobi got out in concern.
After all, dealing with Mizuki was one thing as he wouldn't have the danger of a season jonin so they knew he wasn't that dangerous. But dealing with the two Legenderay Stupid Brothers who's strenght was rumored that could potentially Rival the female Sannin was a completely manner.
"I'm heading out!" Tsunade suddenly declared as she narrowed her eyes.
"W-What!?" The shinobi got out in confusion. "Wait, what are you-" He then began.
"While not dangerous to the village as a whole, the Two Stupid Brohters are too dangerous from most shinobis to deal with." Tsunade soon stated and revealed. "And most jonin that are able to do so are already too busy with other missions or capturing the escapees." She then continued. "I'm the only one who deals with them quickly." She eventually concluded.
"But my-" A shinobi got out.
"No buts!" Tsunade countered in a no nonsense tone. "All of you, get back to capturing the remaining prisoners at once!" She then ordered.
"HAI!" The remaining shinobis, regular and ANBU responded, vanishing instantly.
Once all the shinobis had left, the Hokage got her grass-green hatori on and turned towards the small snake summon. "Take me to the last known location of Team Seven and the Viper Squad." Tsunade ordered with full authority in her voice.
"Underssssstood." Aoda calmly replied as he quickly slithered out through the window.
And with that, the blonde Hokage headed out herself, planning to resolve everything she could as both a medic and as the head of Konoha should.
Within a mountainside cave. . .
Mizuki calmly entered the large cave entrance, as he slowly walked inside he took out a small flare to illuminate the area. After a few moments the escapee found something on the nearby walls, it was a rhombus shaped hole.
"Here it is. . ." Mizuki muttered as he kneeled down and pulled out a kunai, then he carefully proceeded in placing it on the small hole.
Click!
No soon afterwards a clicking sound and then the cave began to shake, while not violently like an earthquake, but still strong enough to cause the traitor to feel somewhat concerned of a possible cave in.
However those concerns were thrown away as the wall where he put the kunai began to move downwards, revealing a secret room.
Once inside, Mizuki let out an amused scoff as he looked around the room. "Looks like there haven't been any trespassers before me. . ." He remarked.
The traitor stopped right in front of the wooden desk and placed his flare making it light the entire room. Then he began to look around the room to find something specific.
"The eighth one from the right. . ." Mizuki then muttered as he took out one of the bricks that was on the right of a large kunai-like mural, revealing a chain with a ring-like end, causing him to grip it tightly and begin pulling it out.
At first nothing happened, which caused some concerns of the traitor, however before he could even say anything, the floor right in front of the entrance split a part, revealing it to be a large metal shuttered.
Then something began to emerge from the opening and completely replaced the former barren floor. In the middle of the new floor was an altar-like structure that had many square-like holes all connected to one another.
However by the design it looks as if the connecting paths were lean downwards as if it was meant for liquids to follow a certain path and finish all in one single square hole.
Soon enough, the traitor began to laugh in a manical manner, recognizing it for the same design as the marking the Snake Sanin many years ago.
Mizuki then didn't waste a single moment as he briefly saw the list his master had gave him:
Chinese licorice, Cinnamomi cortex, Deer antlers, Rehmanniae radix, Caryophylli flos, Ginseng radix, Sea dragon, Curcumae rhizema, Paeoniae radix, Cistanchis herba, Agkistrodon japonicae, Linderae umbellatae Ramus, Epimedii herba, Saposhnikoviae radix, Viper and
Dried lizard.
All the ingredients which he had stolen, all for this moment as he carefully prepared the new source of his power going by the instructions on his arm. Then when he finished all of the concoctions, he prepared four separate potions of different colors.
The traitor then carefully placed each potion on each of the square shape holes on the platform. The blue potion on the top left hole, the red one on the top middle, the purple on the top right and the yellow one on the bottom right.
"That's everything. . ." Mizuki muddled to himself as he then walked over and pressed the button at the bottom of the platform.
CLICK!
Then all of the bottom parts of each square drop, forcing the liquids to fall downwards through the connecting pathways. The red and purple potions were the first to clash and mix with each other, causing it to to turn into a greyish color. Then the blue potion soon mixed with the grey, causing it to turn into a green color. Finally the yellow potion mixed with the rest, turning into a sinister crimson color and stopped at the bottom square hole.
The traitor then looked at the finished product with awe as a wild smirk appeared on his face. "With this. . ." Mizuki soon started as he began laughing in a manical manner. "HAHAHAHAHA! With this, I WILL ACHIEVE TOTAL PERFECTION!" He soon declared in anticipation, his muscling pulsating and bulging at the moment with a look of insanity in his shifting eyes.
In the forest near the cave. . .
The group looked on with serious expressions on their faces as they held their positions.
"Is that it?" Naruto soon asked.
"It should be." Tsubaki responded. "Who knows what he's doing in there. . ." She then muttered with concern and worry in her voice.
At that moment, Pakkun sniffed the air before narrowing his eyes. "Oh he's up to something in there." He warned with a concerned tone. "And this terrible smell in the air is making it worse." He then added.
The sudden comment caught everyone's attention and looked at the small pug. "A terrible smell?" Iruka repeated in confusion.
"I don't know what he did, but it's giving me shivers." Pakkun soon stated and confessed with his fur slightly shivered.
"Could it have something to do with all of the things you told us he was planning to steal?" Naruto asked the former fiance of the traitor.
"Possibly. . ." Tsubaki replied as she pondered a bit and then realized why her former fiance was so confident. "But if he is already done preparing it. . .Maybe he already obtained most if not all of them before he visited me." She then added with a realizing tone.
"Then we came too late to stop him. . ." Iruka realized that they were too late to stop whatever his former best friend was planning.
"Nothing we can do about that now, sensei." Naruto responded as he narrowed his eyes. "We can only put a stop to it right here, right now." He then added as they readied themselves to move.
However at that moment. . .
"Naru-kun!" A familiar voice called out, getting the group's attention.
The blond soon turned to see and sigh in relief at the familiar faces. "Hey girls, finally made it huh? " Naruto got out at the sight of the girls. "A lot quicker than I thought, not that I'm complaining." He then added with a surprised tone.
"Yes. . .after we finished the mutated monsters, we all went at our max velocity to arrive as quickly as possible. . .however. . ." Yami started explaining before trailing off at the end.
It was then that the blond shinobi and the older chunin saw that the girls were all panting a bit. While his group were forced to take a more slow but steady pursuit as they didn't want to fall for any more of the traitor's traps like last time. The kunoichi didn't have to worry about that as they came right behind theirs. Allowing them to arrive much quicker, though it caused them a lot of their stamina as a trade off
Hinata hid her tiredness behind a smile from being reunited as she looked at the cavern nearby. "Is that where he is?" She soon deducted in a more serious tone.
"Yeah. . ." Iruka responded. "Though from Pakkun and Tsubaki's explanations, it looks like we were too late to stop whatever he was planning." He then informed.
Nina then sniffed the air and cringed while her bipedal friends attempted to cover their noses with their paws/wings. "Ugh! Stinky stinky!" She got out, using one of her hands to plug her nose while using the other to try and fan away the stench.
"You too huh kid." Pakkun remarked as he narrowed his eyes, getting a nod in response. "Whatever that potion is. . .it's the source of this uneasy feeling. . ." He then thought to himself with a serious tone.
Soon, the group heard a vile chuckling from the cave as they looked at a shadow coming towards them. "I was wondering who that was. . .You guys are so persistent." The voice of Mizuki echoed through the cave's entrance.
"Get ready." Iruka whispered his order as the rest of the younger chunin and the small animals instantly got into their battle stance and threw their weapons.
"Well it's also very convenient." Mizuki continued as the sun finally completely illuminated his body showing that he was holding a beaker in his right hand. "Because I was planning to take care of you guys anyway." He added with a large grin on his face.
This comment managed to irritate the young chunin. "Che, someone's sounding cocky." Satsuki remarked in annoyance as she tightened the grip of her blade's handle.
"Careful Satsuki-chan. . ." Hinata meanwhile whispered as she narrowed her eyes. "Something doesn't feel right. . ." She added aas she then examined the traitor.
It was at that moment that the rest of the group also felt the ominous feeling in the air.
Yami soon narrowed her eyes at the beaker in the traitor's hands. "What is that?" She muttered, instinctively readying herself.
Mizuki meanwhile smirked as he looked at the concoction in his hands. "Beautiful isn't it?" He soon started as he allowed the Konoha shinobis to have a good look . "Now this is absolute power at its finest." He vaguely praised it as he then brought the beaker to his mouth before drinking the contents.
To which caused everyone's eyes to widen in surprise. "Damn. . .we were too late. . ." Iruka thought to himself.
"And with this potion and the power Orochimaru-sama gave me. . ." Mizuki began to say as his upper body began to contort and expand while making inhumane-like noises while doing so. "I will destroy anyone that gets in my way!" He then declared as he soon roared loudly.
Upon hearing the grotesque sounds, it caused the oldest kunoichis face to cringe with an unsettling expression. "I do not like those sounds his body is making. . ." Yami confessed in disgust.
"Same here. . ." Satsuki replied in complete agreement.
As Mizuki's grotesque transformation continued, black triangle-like markings began to appear around his expanded arms and on his forehead.
"What on earth!?" Pakkun exclaimed in shock to the sight.
"Mizuki!" Iruka called out, also shocked to what he was seeing.
"That's just like. . ." Naruto began, recalling what happened to the Oto Shinobi on the Capture Mission.
"So that's what he wanted!?" Hinata realized, remembering the spider like Oto Shinobi's first transformation.
"So he was after Orochimaru's power of the Curse Mark huh? How pathetic!" Satsuki growled and declared in disgust.
"So this is that power he was obsessed with. . ." Iruka got out before looking at the traitor's fiancée in a sympathetic manner.
"Mizuki. . ." Tsubaki muttered in despair as she fell to her knees. It was at this moment that she finally admitted to herself that the man she once knew and loved was now truly gone.
Meanwhile, the youngest appearing member of the girl sniffed the air before narrowing her eyes. "Hey! He's gonna steal my look with Ora-chii!" Nina suddenly declared in anger.
"Hiss!" Ora hissed out in disgust. "Ugh, what a disgrace to share anything with our big sister's glorious form!" Was what she said.
Okki meanwhile growled at the sight, ready to pound at the ready.
The sudden comment from the youngest looking member caused the group to momentarily look at her with confused expression. "Wait, how can you tell he's gonna change into a tiger-like form Nina-chan?" Naruto meanwhile asked.
"Hissssss!" Ora hissed out. "I despised that this creature has even a hint of my species scent, even more so when big sis and I combine!" Was what she declared.
"Ora-chii sniff sniff same scent as us when we go shiny shiny!" Nina explained before growling at the enemy.
"Great, so a tiger base form from the curse mark. . ." Satsuki realized as she narrowed her eyes for what was to come.
It was at that moment that the traitor's transformation finally ended, he was now twice as tall as before and the mass of his upper body was greater than his lower half, making it clearly disproportionate now, making look more animalistic than human.
"Get ready everyone." Hinata meanwhile ordered as the others nodded. "Tsubaki-san, please get to cover, we'll do everything we can." She then added.
In response to this, the black haired woman nodded in a hesitant manner as she backed away from the group along with the dog summon as they prepared themselves.
Mizuki soon calmed himself down somewhat as he moaned and then looked at the group with an animalistic smirk on his face as he began chuckling in a menacing manner.
For the group, they knew they had to give it their all to take down the enemy, though not sure if he would be alive or dead in the end at this point. Regardless, the blond shinobi was going to finally end this dark part of his past one and for all.
Within the Team Seven/Viper Squad residence. . .
Anko was getting the rest of her equipment together as she got the fishnet on along with her jacket.
The disguised Bijū meanwhile was in a meditative position to keep himself with his eyes closed before opening them to see the purple haired woman. "You all set?" Kurama eventually questioned in a serious tone.
"As a ready as I am for our Kinky Sex Time." Anko replied with a smirk as she placed her coat on.
"WOOHOO! KINKY SEX TIME!" Kurama instinctively cheered in his head. However, he merely chuckled outwardly, knowing it wasn't the time to cheer out loud at the moment.
Then the humanoid disguised Bijū took in a deep breath and gripped his hand into a fist a couple of times. He then transferred small doses of chakra through his fist, he saw that the color had a healthier shade of orange-red, while not the usual color, it was much better than before.
"Yosh, feeling better. I should be back to normal a few more weeks, a month tops" Kurama thought to himself with a satisfied smirk, feeling his chakra as the orange-red glow coated his body for a moment while rolling his neck. "Lets go babe." He said with a smirk.
Nodding to that, Anko stepped forward and quickly locked lips with him before ending the kiss. "Yeah." She replied with a confident smirk.
With that the two vanished via shushin and headed towards their corresponding wards, even if they wouldn't provide that much support, they would still want to be there for them if they really needed it. And nothing was gonna stop them now.

Okay so I just found this story and finished a reading. There's a lot I want to say but I'll just summarize it.
Grammar needs LOTS of work. Seriously, get a beta reader or take more time to edit before posting. Later chapters I feel have gone really overboard with the sexual and perverted stuff, same thing with all the swearing. There's way to many POVs happening at once, and I'm not the biggest fan of all the references to other shows and stuff. Best I can say on all that maybe dial it back a bit, I feel like I'm watching an episode of Family Guy or Rick and Morty.
Other than that, the rasengan really should've stayed naruto's thing. Maybe make it so while they all know it, Satsuki prefers the Chidori and Hinata finds it really fit her fighting style?
Lastly, I had a thought on an OP move for them. Basically they all form a rasengan in naruto's hand then hinata adds water elemental chakra to it, naruto adds wind, and Satsuki adds lightning and they end up forming a literal hurricane in their hands.
I call it, "Team 7 collaboration jutsu: Maelstrom Rasengan"
That's all I got.
Yeah, the grammar I get, but that just shows we need to get better even now and just have to take a bit longer with being sure to edit everything we can to make sure there's no issues.
F2P: Mostly because well, we kindoff bad at writing well completely. . . Not trying to dodge the issue, it's the truth, and while having a beta reader would be great, it's just that as you guys can see, we hardly have time to write anymore and when we do it's mostly a few times a week. . .tops. So we really don't want to have a beta reader and have him wait like. . .months, before he can actually, you know. . .rewrite what we actually write. That's not really fair for them if we do.
JG: Exactly. *Nods*
F2P: As for the S/P and swearing stuff. . . not gonna lie to you and the rest of the readers, that's just how we roll, we like writing that stuff because it's fun and we ain't sorry about that. So we'll continue to write that, but we will try to tone it down a bit. Just don't expect it to go down that much.
JG: Yeah, we write how we like to write and what makes us feel comfortable.
F2P: As for the Rasengan idea. . .honestly that's not a bad idea, we may really want to add that for a special fight that involves those three using their elemental chakra. It won't be for the final fight, but it will definitely be for a cool moment. But any and all elemental Rasengan won't be during Part 1.
JG: Agreed, this seems more like a Part 2 Naruto attack since Naruto was taught how to infuse elemental chakra during that time.
F2P: Anyway, here's my review from our good reader and fellow writer, Leaf Ranger!
Sorry it took me forever to finally read and review this chapter. A mixture of real life, my own laziness, and attempts to write my own chapters left me...well...having a tough time keeping up with all the fanfic updates that were happening.
So, the Stupid Brothers are, for now, trapped. I have a feeling the fight is going to continue for some time now. Meanwhile, the girls managed to make it through the bamboo forest, but only after a very long, annoying, dangerous fight. I imagine they are very, VERY pissed. at least they've got some support now in Tsubaki, provided she doesn't turn traitor.
And MIzuki is off again, with Naruto and Iruka on his heels. Guess he's off to turn himself into a tiger man now...unless that already happened? Crap I forgot if it had or not.
And Ino received some advice from Tsunade. here's hoping it helps her out.

JG: We can easily say the anime wasted an opportunity for something like this by usually making filler episodes around 2 to 6 episodes when it wasn't a one shot of sorts. Still, be prepared for more original events in the planned fillers and more unexpected events to happen!
F2P: As for how the unlikely three are going to get out of this? Well. . .that's for the next chapter to find out!

just want to start off by saying the uchiha heiress remix is in my top 5 favorite Naruto fics. It is an awesome story and you are a great author. Keep up the good work.
I suck at writing, and I don't know if you are planning any new Naruto fics, but I figured you could at least spread the word to other writers. I have only seen one author do this, but I believe that it could help power up Naruto in a believable way.
Shadow clones give their experience to their creator. Key word is creator. Shadow clones can use any jutsu the original knows, including the shadow clone jutsu. The shadow clone jutsu splits the users chakra in half. So why have Naruto spam clones for training, when he can create 1 clone, have it create a couple more clones and repeat. The last clones created work on a jutsu, when progress is made, they disperse giving their creator their knowledge and progress, and their creator makes more. Rinse and repeat. You can think of it like a tournament bracket, with Naruto being in the winner slot, and the clones fill out the rest of the bracket. While the clones are doing that the creators are conserving chakra to make more clones, along with the original, or he can work on the physical training, or literally anything he wants. At the end of the day, more work is done, and more progress made with less chakra used. He could even do it to increase his chakra control.
Its just an idea I saw a long time ago and makes perfect sense, but isnt really used. Please let me know if you like the idea, and pass it on if you want. All I ask is if you use it or if you pass it to other authors, you or they let me know so I can read the story. Thank you for your time.

Alright, so I read the first 10 chapters.
Honestly? The grammar issue isn't as glaring compared to other fics, and it fixes itself as it goes on. It's not as hard to follow as some of the reviews exaggerate. If anything, that's just FanFiction net being a really bad site on the eyes with how tiny the text is.
As for the story itself, there are a lot of fic elements that I'm enjoying. Probably one of them is Kakashi talking to Naruto since he had a connection with Minato. This is how you prevent future problems; COMMUNICATION.
Another thing I'm enjoying is that the character relationships are a lot healthier than in canon, which is definitely helped by Hinata replacing Sakura on the team. Harem is mentioned a few times (I'm not sure if you're going for that), but because Satsuki and Hinata had that good interaction together, it seems to be a lot more like a polycule, which I'm all for.
Some of the more "cringe" parts are honestly passable, like Naruto's peeing into the puddle joke. Early Naruto (and Shonen Jump) were always for crude humor. Remember that the pee jokes happened in Hashirama and Madara's story late into Shippuden too.
Another good part is how characters that were heavily underutilized in canon (Anko and Haku) are getting more of a role here. I'm going to assume it'll happen in the future too.
If anything, the only real complaint I have is that sometimes it feels like things are moving a little too fast, with a lot of things being established before the Zabuza arc. But at the same time, establishing things earlier helps with the flow in the future, so it's alright here. With how old the story is, I'm surprised since older stories usually just go with whatever their gut tells them.
It mixes both canon compliant elements of the story, and adds stuff that helps it out even further and make it more unique. The story has me hooked, and I look forward to more.
