Secret Service 2

Ulysses never got shot that fateful day. He never ended up in the hospital, so the doctors never found out his health issues from diabetes.

Marty never donated her kidney. She had a job to do. Her path to greatness had been set in concrete for nearly her entire life. She would not deter from it now for the sake of an ordinary, old man. She's on the plane to Washington DC with her meager positions and a bag full of candy bars by the next day.

Senator Guy Hammond picked up his ringing office phone, frowning at the late night call. No one knew he was in his office at the time, even his personal secret service agents were on the way to scope out security measures in his future home.

"Yes?"

"Congratulations, Mr. President."

The dark haired public official sat up straight in his chair. "I wondered when you'd call me."

The mysterious caller gave a chuckle, "So it all went off without a hitch?"

"Like clockwork," Senator Hammond confirmed, "Did you pay off the actor?"

A few doctored messages left on an answering machine, a grey wig, and blank bullets from a prop gun was all it took for every reporter in the area to run the story of the brave Senator who wouldn't back down from his values even in the face of death. The local police would be to blame for their incompetence at letting an attempted assassinator escape during his transfer to the local penitentiary.

It was icing on the cake that Hammond managed to hire Marty Dillard the female secret service agent for his detail, a plus towards his feminist and affirmative action constituents.

He was guaranteed to win the presidential election by a landslide.

Because the man in the wheelchair with the old lady wig looked so fake! Ben Vereen is so awesome as an actor and a dancer. The little girl who played Marty was adorable.
