Chapter 19:Dueling in Love
It is dinner time at Duel Academy I walk into the dinner hall and the is a buzz about the new transfer student. I am not intrested am get a boneless rib for my dinner and into the Oblisk blue dinning hall and sitdown to eat. As I start to eat Alexis comes over and sits down across from me and asks "Have you heard about the new tranfer student?" I look up at her and say"No and I am not really intrested" and look start to looks at me in amazment and says "Well anyways the rumor is that they get a perfect school on all of the entry exams." I swallow the food in my mouth ans say"Exactly it is a rumor so it is most likly false because in dueling their is a 95% problity that you will no take any damage so its almost impossble to get a perfect score," She think and replays her pratical etry exam in her and the others in her head that has seen and in every senario every take damage at some point in their entry exam. She lets out a sigh and says "I guess you are right" and put down her plate of food and starts to eat.

I see Syrus lean over towards the new transfer student and faintly hear him say "Hey Blair did you know Zane is my brother?" Blair looks at him in amazment and asks "Really?" in disbelief. Syrus then closes his eyes and says "Yeah he is pretty cool but mom says I got the looks" and then turns back towards the screen. As Sheppard continue to talk saying "Now we haven't chossen who will reprsent us this year so if you keep hitting those books and duel hard you maybe the 1 that get the honor" and the screen turn off as everyone starts to talk. I see Jaden push his in front of the rest of the Slifers and says "Alright did you hear what he said it could be me in this match." Syrus crosses his arms and looks away like he is angry and says "Hey or me but we might as well face it Jay it will probly be Zane that gets the spot again ." Jaden look at him and asks "How come?" All 3 look at Zane and Blair says "Because he is amazing."
As Jaden,Syrus,and Chumley walk out side they see Blair runs off and Jaden decides to fallow him. He fallows Blair to the Oblisk blue dorm I look out of my window as I left right after the announcement and see Blair climbing and jumping into the room next to mine and Jaden fallowing.I get up go into the dorm next and see Blair huggin a deck case. I let him to the door and bid a farwell and decide i need to but first i neede to find out more about Blair first.
I go back up to my room and fine Blair on the student director I find but a lot of her profile is blank including the name for her deck or even her best card. So I try to hack in to her pratical test video but it is missing from her test results so i guess i will have to ask around I guess. I start to walk around the Oblisk blue dorm and asking what they know about but a lot of useless information all people really knew about her waqs the she had a perfect entry test. So go back up tp my room and decide to do a few pratice duel against verious of oppentants using different strageties until the spirt of Gravekeeper Assailant appeared. Simple I say when people duel secret usally get revealed and even if they don't if I win you will answer my quests." She looks at my as I pull 2 duel disks out of the bag and says "Fine but if I win I don't have answer anything." I sense that we are being watch I look over and see Cumley and Syrus peeking over the cliff and I can faintly hear Chumley say "Okay well we found them and Seith is down there too." Syrus get a worried look on his face and asks "But what are they talkingabout down there?" Chumley shifts slight and say"I am not sure but what ever it is it looks serious." Syrus gets a sad look on his face and says "I knew this would happen Jaden has found a new guy to pal around with." "That is not it Syrus." he and Chumley look over and see Zane and Alexis walk over and Zane continues to say "Beacuse Blair is not a guy she is really a girl Oblisk security camera showed her in our dorm." Alexis put her hand on her hip and says "But what it didn't show why she has gone through all of this trouble ." Syrus let out a sigh and says "Oh really I wonder how Jaden and Seth plan to slove that mystery?" They then hear "Lets duel!" and all look back and see me and Blair about to duel.
"Ladies frist " Blair say and draws and then says "Get ready to fall in love" and summons Madian in Love (ATK400/DEF300) in attack mode.
After the monster appears and Syrus sees her he says "Wow shes cute" Chumley looks at him annoyed
I draw my card and I summon Gravekeepers Recrutier (1200/DEF1500) in attack mode and then I have attack Madian in Love and Blair loses 800 lifepoints dropping her down to 3200.
After my attack I hear Syrus say "Awww my poor defensless little madian." Chumley look over at him and asks "Who said she's yours?" Alexis looks over at them and says "How about we let the monster do the fighting okay guys?"
But that Maidian's special ability she isn't destroyed the the feild becomes engulf witha feild of colors and the Madian in Love starts to use he charm and pegs my Gravekeepers Recruiter with a maidian counter.
As they look down at the scene as A Maidian in Love charms my Recrutier Syrus says "It looks like we got some competition."
Blair draws her next and then she plays the equip spell Cupids Kiss and attaches it to her Madian in Love. Then she has her Maidian attack my Recrutier and she loses 800 more life points to 2500 and she takes control of my Recrutier thanks to her Cupids Kiss spell and has Recrutier attacks me directly giving me 1200 points of damage putting my life points at 2800 and then plays a card facedown and ends her turn. It is my turn again and decide to summon the strongest monster that being my GraveKeepers Ambusher (ATK1700/DEF0) in attack mode. I then have him attack my Recrutier but Blair activates her facedown Defense Maidian causing her Maidian to intercept the attack causing Blair to loses 1300 life points and putting her down to 1200 and pegging him with a maidin counter and I say "Not another maidian counter." I lay down 2 facedowns and end my turn
Syrus look down at the deul with exciment and says "I want one. How do I get a maidian counter?" Chumley nods his head in agreement and says "Yea me too I want one too." Alexis looks at them a little embarssed and says "Um guy try to remeber that it is just a card that you are looking at." And without looking away from the duek Zane says "Try to remember who you are talking to when SY and I were growing up he claimed he was going steady with the Dark Magican Girl." Alexis looks back at Syrus and says "Oh is that so? Did she break your heart Sy or did you just decide to see other monsters?"
It is Blair's turn again and she draws and plays another equip card called Happy Marriage raise her Maidian in Love's attack by 1200 putting her attack at 1600. Then she has her Maidian attack Ambusher makeing her lose 100 points putting her at 1100 and takes control of Ambusher and she uses him attack me putting my life points at 1100 also. Then she attacks with my Recrutier however I activate 1 of my facedowns called Sakuretsu Armor destroying him allowing me to add a new gravekeeper to my hand.
She takes off her and throw it in the aie and removes the banbana and says "Sorry but you won't be able to beat my Seth I am dueling for love." "Did she say dueling for love doesn't she mean deuling with love?" Zane asks Alexis looks over at Zane and say "Don't tell me you haven't put the peices togather yet, think about it Zane she put on a disguise she tricks her way into our school breaks into your room." Both Chumley and Syrus come to the conclsion, and Syrus says "She's in love." Alexis look back down toward the duel and says "Big time and she is in love with you Zane."
"We will see about that" I say as I draw my next and I active my other facedown Rite of Spirt and get my Recrutier back from and offer him in order to summon Gravekeepers Cheif (ATK1900/DEF1200) and since Recrutier went to to graveyard again I get another gravekeeper. I get my Gravekeepers Commandant and I discard him to add Necovalley to my hand and activate it the surrounding turns into a valley the the nile river in the distance with the setting sun. and I active the spell card Solidarity and with those 2 card that raises my Cheif's attack to 3200 and I attack her Maidian and making her lifepoints zero.
Everyone comes down from their vantage point as the duel ends and the holograms start to disappear. Blair looks up and says "Well I guess I have tell up my secret." I look and say "Well you kind of actually did and I think our audience know it now too." she get embaressed as she over and sees the others. Alexis looks over at Zane and says "We sure do love is on her mind Zane" he nods his and sighs. She stands up and turn around and blushes as she says "Zane your here well I guess you know I'm the one that snuck into your dorm room I have been in love with you ever since I met you." as He looks at her and nods and says "At nationals." I step forward and say "I was at that tournament and I made to the semi finals ever though I only started dueling a week before". Blair ingores me completely as she blushes more and says "Thats right we met right after you won the championship it is then I made a pledge that I do anything to be with you." Both Syrus and Chumley and say "Awwww" as the hear her decloration. Then she start to talks again and says "Then I remember that you said if I train really really hard I can get into Duel Academy like you so I did, and that I am here we can get married" and he tlker me and jaden came over. Zane,Alexis are take back by this Jaden just laughs and says "Get married thats a good one your honeymoon can be in the cafeteria could give you away ." Alexis steps forward and says "Blair sweety love doesn't work like that you can sneak your way into somebodies heart just look what happened to your maidian she used tricks to get love and she ended up alone and in tears. You can't use spells or disguise to find your soulmate you have to be honest and up front with them." Blair glares at her with and yells "Yeah right you just want Zane for your self your trying to get rid of me." Alexis just smiles and says "Tell her Zane." Zane steps forward and says "Blair as fattered as I am bu you affectations right now I am only in love with one thing dueling." She looks up and asks "Dueling?" Zane reaches into his pocket and grabs her and puts the hair clips into her hand and says "I'm sorry but it is time for you to go home." Jaden looks at Zane and asks "What why does she have to go home because you say so hello she is a student here at Duel Acdemey and a good one." Zane lets out a sigh and says "Jaden she has to go home." Jaden thinks for a moment and looks at him and says "Oh I see what you are doing here Zane you are pushing here out because she is a good student because she might dethrone you." Alexis laughs at that as Zane just sighs and says "She has to gop home because she still in elematary school." Both Syrus and Chumley are very surpised and both say "In elematary school." I look at him with a sad look on my and say "So you saying that I lost to a kindergarten." She looks at me and stick out her tongue and say "Well if it make feel better I am actully 13 and in middle school." Jaden falls over laughing at my dismay and say "Well thats why dueling is so great if you are old enough to draw you are old enought to win."
It is the next moring and the is here to talk Blair home and her parents are with her. we are all waving good by to her and she wayve back and says "Good bye I'll be back as soon as I finish middle school but I'll be back you guys." Jaden start to and tease Zane and says "You hear that Zane" Zane doesn't even look at him and says "Oh please I'll be long gone by the time that she gets here." Jaden look back at the ship and says "I guess that's ture I guess Blairs crush ends right here." Zane closes his and says "I would be so sure." As Blair continues to wave she says "Good bye Seth my sweet prince I love you". I just and Alexis says "Well looks like captured another girls heart" as everyone starts to walk away. Me and just whatch as the boat disappears into the distance.
