Adam kicks me in the chest, which breaks the hold we had on each other and sends me tumbling a bit but I manage to catch myself up mid-air, panting a bit.
"Oh, you're getting tired already? Well then, guess I shouldn't play with my prey anymore. DIE!"He roars, thrusting his sword in the direction of my chest but I roll to the side and deliver a mean roundhouse kick to his head, making him lose his balance as I take the opportunity to stab him in the stomach.
This should be enough to incapacitate him until the Paladins and other hunters arrive to arrest him and Jacques.
"Hahaha, Shirou was it?"He asks and seeing my nod, he opts to glare at Blake and Weiss before I punch him in the face.
"You're a fool. People like them will never understand what it means to be treated differently because you're not born like them. I will crush them underneath my feet and Blake will be by my side, willingly or not."Adam sneers at me and we go back into a sword lock with no signs of backing down against the opponent.
Using [Armament Haki], [Aura Manipulation] and [Reinforcement], I strengthen the power of my blades and knee him in the stomach, which gives me a couple of seconds to switch Kansho and Bakuya for Tsumumari Muramasa as that's the only weapon that can give me the edge needed to incapacitate Adam.
I channel the three [Skills] into my sword once more and then continue the battle, not leaving him with a second to think about a plan to counterattack me.
He parries a strike that was aimed at his abdomen but I use that opportunity to cast [Projection] and create multiple fake versions of Atlesian weaponry.
The guns then fire so many bullets, which Adam was able to deflect but he really should've paid more attention to what I was doing.
I kick him in the back of his head, which makes him fall to the ground as a small spark of energy flees from his body, probably meaning that his Aura is now broken, which is good because I wasn't sure if I could last much longer against him.
But now, it doesn't matter since I won that battle.
I point my sword at his neck while kicking him away from his sight so he couldn't do anything when I wasn't looking at him.
"Adam! Why did you do this?"I hear Blake whisper before she is embraced by her mother but I can sort of understand his motives, even if they are flawed beyond any of our expectations.
"You, Shirou. I want you to savour your victory and know that you will regret the day you decided on the side of those fucking Schnees. I want you to understand that humans and Faunus will never be peaceful towards one another. Even if you are allied for the next five hundred years, you humans will never change!"He sneers at me, trying his best to pry himself off of me but I'm too strong for him to even attempt that so he's kinda stuck there, waiting for his punishment to come.
"And I want you, Adam Taurus, to watch as your philosophy is destroyed before your very eyes. I will help restore balance and peace unto this world like the many Huntsmen before me. The difference with me is I will succeed where they failed that is my will! The will of Shirou Emiya! The will of a hero!"I say to him with a determined expression on my face.
"hehe... hehe... Hahahaha! You are a fool. No, that's not the correct word to describe you, now is it? You are someone with delusions of grandeur! You are a child with a hero complex! How amusing!"He says, laughing while I stare at him with a deadpan expression on my face, thinking about what he just said a couple of seconds ago.
Did he say that I was the one with delusions of grandeur?!
You're the one who came in here and thought he could murder everyone here and get away with it scot-free.
Yeah, I'm delusional for thinking I can restore peace in this broken world that we're living in.
The paladins storm into the house with one of them holding a weapon in his hands like he's about to shoot Adam in the face and laugh about it.
"Arrest this man as well and make sure that he and Jacques are in a cell together by the time I get back!"Ironwood says as they drag Adam away from everyone's sight as the guests all breathe a sigh of relief.
I'm then knocked off my feet by a smiling Ruby, a grinning Yang, a possibly crying Blake and a tearful Weiss as we hold the embrace for a few more seconds but let each other go due to how I am right now.
"Thank you for not killing Adam and protecting us. It means a lot to me."Blake says while I just throw a weak smile at her, way too tired to do anything.
"Well, that's cool what you did back there but we need to end this party with a Yang!"Yang says as she is dragged off by Ruby and Weiss, who will probably take her to Raven so she can get grounded when we get back home.
Blake stares for a couple of seconds before giving me a peck on the cheek, making me blush in embarrassment as Taiyang and Qrow throw me a thumbs-up, Kali and Summer giggle at the sudden move made by the Faunus while Ghidorra is trying to not kill me with his stare so I scratch the back like a typical Shonen MC, unsure of what to do now.
I leave the people to continue celebrating and get two [Notification] screens so I mentally open them once I'm somewhere a bit away from them but not too far so I could be called by the others if they need to be.

Description: Tekkai hardens the users' muscles to the level of iron, allowing them to withstand and effectively nullify any damage they might have taken from can also be used to enhance the user's attacks by the increased density one gets from using it. The strength of Tekkai can vary for users with different physical conditions, as a person with a higher level of muscular strength would be able to take stronger forces and enhance their attacks more significantly.
Rankyaku (Active) LVL: 1/50 [0%]
Description: Rankyaku is a powerful projectile technique, in which the users start by kicking at very high speeds and strength, which results in a sharp compressed blade of wind or "Sickle Wind" that can slice through objects and greatly damage a human body. Depending on the strength and scale of the technique, it is capable of slashing a whole building in half.

Description: The Shigan is a close-quarter combat technique, in which the user pushes their finger into a certain target at a very high speed, leaving a wound similar to a bullet wound.
It is a very useful technique that can connect rapidly and accurately, which works well with the Rokushiki users' impressive speed and agile techniques.

Description: Geppo allows users to push themselves off the air itself with superhumanly strong kicks, allowing them to travel through and remain in midair for an extended period. It effectively resembles flight. CP9 members can use this technique to cross great distances without ever touching the ground or to set themselves up for using swift aerial attacks.

Well, I can't do it now, that's for sure but in the future, I'll be able to use it in a battle.
For now, I'm way too tired to think about anything so I think it'll be best for me to go back home and take a nap after the events of tonight.
I walk to where Yang and Ruby are and find them talking to Weiss, Jaune, Pyrrha, and Whitley, which is good but I don't see Blake anywhere.
I hope she just left with her parents instead of something bad happening to her because if that's the case, then I wouldn't be able to forgive myself since I'm kind of the reason why Adam is currently going to prison.
Sensing my distress, Yang approaches me while eating a piece of cake with Ruby and Weiss in tow as well.
"Your girlfriend left with her parents after that little show she gave us. You're a pretty lucky guy, you know that?"Yang says with a smug smile on her face while Ruby stocks up on cookies like it's the last day on earth, earning the ire of a couple of kids that are there.
"Thanks for the info but she is not my girlfriend," I say to her in slight embarrassment and mock anger.
"The key word here is not yet Shirou. Not yet."She replies before dragging Ruby away from my sight so I decide to bask in the ambiance of the people that are here.
"Young man, may I have a word with you?"A man with glasses asks as he approaches me so I turn to look at him and find myself getting angry because that man is none other than Oxpin or Ozma as Salem and the brother Gods know him by.
He leaves the crowd of people and motions me to follow him so that's exactly what I do since it's best that I hear what he has to say at least.
Not that it's gonna be something wonderful but still, it might provide me with some insight on how to defeat Salem and her small group of rejects.
We stop at a local park in Atlas and he sits down I mimic the reincarnated man, expecting him to start this twisted game of his.
"For starters Shirou, I would like to thank you for the display of your heroics earlier. As the principal of Huntsmen and Huntresses academy, you have no idea how elated I am to find others having the same core principles as we do."Ozpin says while drinking a small amount of his tea or is it coffee?
I don't know and I don't care, to be honest.
"I just did what anyone else with experience would've done so I don't think I should be praised so easily, principal Ozpin," I say rather coldly to him.
"Of course but one should always be thankful for the blessings he has received so once again, I would like to thank you on behalf of everyone that was at that party tonight."He replies.
I have a feeling that he's not going to let this go so I throw a nod at him, watching as his expression goes from slight amusement to serious in the span of one second.
"Due to your actions, I have a request for you and I do expect you to answer me truthfully," Ozpin says, looking at me as if I murdered his daughters in front of him and lived to tell the tale.
"Sure, I'll do my best to-Gah!"I start before being put in a chokehold by Ozpin, his eyes full of anger.
"Who taught you magic?"
"I don't understand the question- Agh! Gah ah!"I shout as I'm punched in the face by him and thrown into the long chair we were sitting on earlier.
"I will not repeat myself. Who taught you magic? Did she teach you magic? Or is it that whore, Raven Brawnwen?! Could it be Qrow? Answer me, you impudent buffoon or so help me, you will not live to see tomorrow!"Ozma says, his grip getting tighter as I struggle to free myself from it but he's strong, like crazy strong.
Help, someone, please help me.
Please!
He loosens his hold on me, allowing me to speak a bit more freely.
"I was taught by my adoptive father, Kiritsugu Emiya! That's all I can tell you, please!"I say on the verge of passing out.
"Ah of course. There was still that possibility. A man that remembers the era of magic. I must thank you for satisfying my curiosity and please forgive me for my actions, I was scared that you were an enemy. I wish you a good night and may we see each other soon."Ozpin says as he leaves me to my thoughts.
"Shirou! We're going home!" Ruby yells as a bullhead lands in front of me, bringing me out of my musings and I step inside, feeling a small amount of relief at seeing the family alive and well.
We reach home in a matter of minutes but I can't sleep because of what happened just now.
Ozpin was ready to kill me simply because I used Emiya's powers to defeat Adam, a threat that if left unchecked, would've started a war between Faunus and humans, something that could result in the loss of civilians' lives but I guess Ozma never cared about that, now did he?
All he cares about is sending children and adults to their deaths while looking at them as if they were mere peasants.
It's thanks to that wake-up call that I now know that Ozpin is not my ally but an enemy and the enemy deserves no mercy.
He insulted Raven, my teacher and someone I've come to respect as a person so Ozma, the four Maidens, Salem and the brother Gods are going to pay for hurting me like this.
If I said I had the [Gamer] as I've seen in so many fanfictions, I would've become a breeding factory to see if that power was hereditary, whether I was willing to or not.
I take a long shower and then put on my pyjamas as I go lay on the bed, thinking about everything that's happened tonight.
"It's probably better if I sleep it in. I can think about it tomorrow or while I'm training."I mutter to myself as I fall into a dreamless sleep.

So, I know some people are going to be mad about I portrayed Ozpin or Ozma but hear me out.
The guy has PTSD whenever his ex-wife is mentioned and will probably do everything in his power to make sure that their eternal battle ends one day without the aid of the two immortal idiots by any means necessary so it's not farfetched to see him threatening a kid that's using magic in a world where it's supposed to be gone.
Besides, this version of Ozpin is more intimidating than it was in canon, which is not a lot if you ask me.
