The course was Urchin Underpass. Team Blue against Team Origami. Olly's team, Team Origami, was orange. Rider was with the crowd watching the match. He wanted to see exactly how good these people were.
"Urchin Underpass!" Frye exclaimed over the speakers. "This course is good for sniping!"
"It's many passageways make it easy to sneak up on your foes," Shiver stated. "Snipers are nothing if you have stealth."
"Ay! Ay!"
"The battle begins in three!" Frye started.
"Two," Shiver continued.
"Ay!" Big Man finished.
Ska-blam! from Yoko and the Golden Bazookas started with the battle. Team Blue immidiantly started turfing.
"I can't wait to see how good they are!" Goggles said.
"Their team doesn't seem very...okay," Specs admitted. "They're all pretty weird."
After about roughly a minute, both teams had met up in the middle of the course. Team Blue was taking turf fast. Headphones was splatted from behind.
"Aah!"
"Headphones!" Specs called.
"I'm fine! I don't know who splatted me though!" She Super-jumped over to Bobblehat. "Thanks!"
"No problem!"
"Take out ze brushie next."
"Huh?" Specs turned, only to get slapped in the face with a Flingza roller. "I'm splatted! These guys are fast!"
"Yay!" Goggles was covering the turf where Specs had been splatted.
"And now, ze idiot!" Jean-Pierre fell from a platform overhead, holding his Flingza roller over his head.
"Hey, I'm not an idiot!" Goggles ran away from his landing point and splatted the roller main.
"I'm hit! It iz ze end!"
"Nice!" Specs said, giving Goggles a thumbs up.
Goggles was splatted from behind by Olly's fully-charged Splatana attack. He immediately ducked back into the ink again.
"He's so quiet!" Bobblehat said.
"He iz stealthy indeed," Jean-Pierre confirmed. "He iz ze best of us all. All of zeze games and not a single death!"
"Not a single death, hm?" Rider muttered. "I don't believe that."
"Does he had ninja squid?" Headphones asked.
"No, I don't think so," Specs responded. "The shirt he has doesn't have that special."
Scissors moved closer to Rider. "They're terrible against my team."
"They are pretty bad," Rider admitted. "But somehow they managed to beat some of the best. Team Emperor, Commander Tartar, the S4; you name it, they'll beat it."
"Olly is unbeatable. What he said about the undying child was true. Olly usually doesn't fight first. He usually waits until Tobias, Stapler, and I enter the fight."
"That's three." Rider winched as Goggles was splatted by Hole Punch's splat dualies.
"Aah! My special gauge won't fill!"
"That's because I stole it! You can't get it back 'till I die, boi!" He brought out a Crab Tank. "Now eat this, SUCKA! HAHAHAHA!" He managed to splat all of Team Blue.
"Who's the fourth?" Rider finished.
"Olivia."
"Who's that?"
"It's Olly's sister. She hasn't been around lately since Olly's been acting strange."
"Strange? How so?" This was it! Rider was now getting inside information about the Inktoling kid. Was he really the Eye of Injustice-wearing Inkling from the tv?
"He's been wearing a mask everywhere he goes, even to bed. He's coughing a lot, but claims he's not sick. He's even had this weird obsession over the team he's fighting against right now."
Rider looked over at the battlefield. Team Blue was loosing badly, and they only had a minute left in the fight.
"Team Blue? Obsession? That's weird hearing those two in the same sentence."
"He's been watching the team. Specifically Goggles...I wonder what's so important about him that Olly is so interested in...I hate to admit it, but Goggles is quite the dunce."
Rider nodded. "Yeah, yet he's still pretty good. His team has no strategy, so everybody has a hard time telling what they are going to do next. But Team Origami...they seem to know what they are going to do two seconds before they do it! What is that kid made of?"
Nana slid in next to Rider on the other side. "Hey, what did I miss?"
Rider and Scissors looked at him. "Do you mind leaving for a bit?" Rider asked Scissors, who responded with a nod and vanished in the crowd. "Nana."
"What?"
"I found out something important."
"Cool! About Olly?"
"Yes. Grab Hatchi and Team Blue when the round's over. I have to talk to him."
