A/N: Hey guys! Back again with a sort of companion to the last one, featuring Annabeth, hope you like it!

She's not even that surprised when they end things. Maybe that says something about the relationship but if it's one thing she's learned to come to terms with, it's that not everything lasts.

By this point she's broken her heart so many times that she's stopped keeping track. Even with him, she'd talked herself in to those blue eyes and talked herself out of that embrace. Maybe she's just a mess, getting herself worked up just to let herself down.

Annabeth tries hard not to lose it. She's walking home from the Starbucks on the corner, away from the million excuses, away from those blue eyes, away from the possibilities that she'd been thinking off.

Sighing, she takes a sip of her latte. It's odd, even after so many months, visiting that Starbucks still brings back so much. The difference is now she feels free.

Maybe it's the fall air, or the leaves falling to the ground or maybe just the warm caramel taste on her tongue, but she feels...hopeful. Hopeful that someday it'll all turn out. That someday the work she'll put in will actually work out. Because she's ready to give, give it all she has.

She stops by the fountain, filled only with the rain water that fall has brought, staring up at the stone mermaid. There's a family with two kids running around and she looks down at the pennies littering the bottom. She can make her wish, but she has a feeling she's going to have to wait. Fishing out her purse, she thinks that she's okay with that. Annabeth Chase is not one to give up after all.

It's half timing, half luck and she knows that wherever he is, and whenever it's right, he'll come out of nowhere and into her life. At least, that's what she's ready to believe as she makes the wish and tosses the penny into the fountain where it sinks down to rest with the other wishes collecting at the bottom of the fountain.

He's gonna be amazing, and this love, the kind that works out, it's gonna change her. Change her life for the better and she loses herself for a moment in imagining all the possibilities.

The kid's shriek pulls her out and she shakes her head. She's definitely getting ahead of herself. But even as she walks away, a small smile lingers on her face along with the belief.

The belief that somehow, someday it'll all turn out. That someday the work will work out. And all that she has to give—

"Oh sorry," The man apologies, stepping back from where he had just bumped into her.

"It's okay." She waves off the apology and looks up to meet sea-green eyes.

Yeah, she knows someday it'll all turn out.

She just hasn't met him...yet.

A/N: And there you have it! Another songfic sort of thing with Haven't Me You Yet by Michael Buble! I wanted to do a sort of companion piece to the last songfic chapter from Annabeth's point of view. For those of you who don't have a relationship and want one, it can be frustrating or disheartening, or any number of things but know that it can all work out and have faith in yourself for that someday.

I've always liked this song and I hope you guys enjoyed this! Please Review! I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks for reading!

See ya!
