Tsuyu and Mipha had been serving their internship together on the Oki Mariner, owned by the Sea Rescue Hero: Selkie.
"Hey, how's the work going?"
The two girls turned to see Sirius, Selkie's top sidekick, coming down the stairs with some canned drinks in hand.
"We're just about done here," Tsuyu replied as the three sat down to take a break.
"It's kinda boring having to do work all day, huh?"
"Kinda. But to be honest, I sort of expected it." Tsuyu admitted.
"A Hero isn't always about fighting evil, after all," Mipha added.
"You know, when I was a kid I always thought I knew what it meant to be a hero," Sirius admitted. "But then I discovered it was a lot of boring patrols and cleaning up. I was also stuck with part of laundry duty. Trust me, you do not want to see the captain's underwear."
"But even then, you still stuck to it." Mipha smiled.
Sirius nodded. "After becoming the captain's sidekick, I discovered for myself something important for being a hero. I'm sure you'll find out for yourself one day."
"Hey, why are you all just standing around?"
The three turned to see Selkie coming on deck. He was a big fellow and his Quirk, [Spotted Seal], made him look equal parts friendly and fearsome.
"Don't worry, sir. We already finished everything here." Mipha said.
"Oh, I see. Sorry about that, ladies. I guess I jumped to conclusions." Selkie sheepishly said before trying to make a cute face. "Forgive me~!"
Sirius just groaned in embarrassment while Mipha giggled good-naturedly as for Tsuyu, she couldn't help but sincerely think Selkie's attempt at being cute was adorable.
Just then, one of the other sailors came out from the cabin with an urgent message from the coastguard. As Selkie went to take the call, Sirius turned to Tsuyu and Mipha.
"Looks like we're gonna be sailing out soon. Can you help me unfasten the ropes?"
"You got it-Kero." Tsuyu nodded.
"Let's get to it!" Mipha said with determination.
The Oki Mariner was ready for emergency departure by the time Selkie finished with the call. Once they were out in the open ocean, he explained the emergency.
"An incoming trade ship reported some stowaways. However, when officials inspected the ship, the stowaways weren't found. Additionally, important cargo from the ship's freight list was missing. I'm sure you all realize what that implies."
Tsuyu raised her hand to answer. "The stowaways probably moved the cargo to another ship somewhere close by before fleeing the scene of the crime. It's possible the stowaways had plans on the ship."
"Correct~!" Selkie praised, doing another cute face, much to his crew's embarrassment.
"So cute." Tsuyu and Mipha both thought.
"Basically, we're dealing with smugglers looking for quick profit, and it's our job to find them. Based on the information we have, the boat they escaped on is likely small. At most, we're dealing with four perps." Selkie continued. "We'll track them down and deliver them to the Coast Guard. We have authorities and other sea rescue heroes tracking them as well."
Once the crew's area of focus was laid out, Selkie continued his briefing.
"The sun will be setting soon, so you'll be searching on the boat via radar. Meanwhile, I'll take to the ocean and search separately. Everyone got it?"
"AYE, AYE, SIR!," the crew all said as one, including Tsuyu and Mipha.
Selkie dived into the ocean, his shoes equipped with folding flippers. Much like Tsuyu's Quirk, Selkie's Quirk gave him all the abilities of a spotted seal, scaled up to a man of his size. He could hold his breath for an incredible amount of time, and he could emit a type of echolocation from his vocal cords to navigate underwater.
By the time night fell, there was no sign of any of the smugglers.
"Nothing on visual," Tsuyu noted.
Mipha shook her head. "And nothing on radar either."
"We'll find them," Sirius assured them. "The captain's searching as well, after all."
"We have a report from the Coast Guard!" Mick, the Oki Mariner's Helmsamn called in. "A fishing boat believed to belong to the smugglers has just shaken off a patrol. Last seen heading for our area."
Selkie leaped out of the water nearby and landed on deck. "I've confirmed the boat's location. Turn off the lights, so we can get close without letting them know our position."
"Right!"
Soon enough the boat was spotted and Selkie brought his crew to check it out. Tsuyu and Mipha had to stay behind with Sirius watching over them, largely because Selkie was worried that the smugglers could be hostile.
With the Oki Mariner impeding the fishing boat's course, a flare was shot up to get the smugglers' attention.
"Attention!," Selkie called over the loudspeaker. "This is a Pro Hero! We're here on behalf of the Coast Guard! We will now inspect your vessel!"
The owner of the boat, alongside two crew mates with squid features, seemed more annoyed than concerned.
"There's no sign of the missing cargo below deck," Mick reported to Selkie.
"It's like I said, we're just humble fishermen." The owner said.
"Then you won't mind showing us what's in here, too?" Selkie asked, gesturing to the large hatch on deck.
"It's just a bunch of fish," the owner insisted.
Selkie was insistent, but it turned out to be a trap, which led to the water below. It turned out the fishing boat was just a decoy, with the owner having been threatened into helping. The two squid goons dropped him into the hatch before closing it.
"That should make things easier for Boss Innsmouth," one of them said.
However, Selkie was prepared and had already sent a sonar beacon using his Quirk to Sirius. Her own Quirk, [Good Ear], allowed her to pick up high-frequency sound waves that normal ears couldn't hear properly.
"This boat was a decoy. They have another boat. The captain wants us to look for it."
"Shouldn't we try to rescue the captain?" Mipha asked in concern.
"Right now, the captain is relying on us," Sirius said. "So we need to have faith in him as well."
Tsuyu and Mipha realized Sirius and Mick were both smiling, realizing what they were getting at, and nodded.
Before long, the second ship was found hiding among the rocks.
"Cut the engines. We'll approach from their blind spot." Sirius ordered.
A woman similar to the goons from before could be seen keeping watching the aft of the ship. Sirius directed Tsuyu to bring the guard over, which Froppy promptly did using her long tongue. Before the guard could warn anyone, Sirius had her mouth muffled. That left only one other person as Tsuyu, Mipha, Sirius, and Mick boarded. Mick went to grab him, only to get ink spurted into his eyes before an octopus tentacle shot out, slamming Mick into the nearby rock wall.
"Mick!" Mipha cried out in concern.
"Look out!" Sirius yelled, pushing Tsuyu and Mipha out of the way as the Villain, Innsmouth, tried to grab her, being caught in their place.
"Here I thought I'd gotten away with it. But you idiots just won't take a hint and give up."
"Let her go!" Mipha cried but Innsmouth squeezed tighter on Sirius.
"Tell the Coast Guard to call off the search or I'll crush every bone in this bitches' body!"
"I think you don't realize what you're doing," Mipha said, suddenly much more calm. "Do you know we're surrounded by water?"
"Yeah, so?"
"And my Quirk, [Wellspring], is considered one of the most powerful amongst the Zora People. Not only can I heal others...but I can create and manipulate water at will."
Innsmouth took a second to process just what Mipha was getting at as even Tsuyu seemed to look a bit more playful, Sirius also grinning despite being trapped. Before the Villain could react, a giant fist of water that had been secretly formed behind him slugged him in the back of the head, making him let go of Sirius.
"Well done!" Another voice praised as Selkie arrived.
Innsmouth, recovering from the blow Mipha gave him, angrily turned and tried to spray ink in Selkie's face, but trying to blind a man who could use echolocation was a useless prospect. Desperate, Innsmouth tried lashing all of his tentacles at once but found them all tied up by water chains created by Mipha, followed by Tsuyu and Selkie taking him down with a double-team attack.
"Are you okay?" Mipha asked as she checked on Sirius.
"I'm okay thanks to you."
"Good job all of you. Thanks to you we were able to capture these smugglers." Selkie said, Innsmouth and his cronies now all tied up. "Thank you so much~!"
"You really are hopeless..." Sirius sighed as Mipha tended to whatever injuries she had.
Later the Oki Mariner brought in the smugglers, including the fisherman coerced into helping them. The admiral of the coast guard met with Selkie as Innsmouth and his gang was brought in.
"We were able to recover the illegal drugs Innsmouth and his gang had smuggled into the cargo that was stolen. It was a big haul. They even somehow got their hands on Trigger."
Tsuyu and Mipha shuddered, Trigger was a dangerous drug that could amplify Quirks to horrifying levels and it had a particularly unpleasant effect on Transformation and Mutant types.
"By the way, you didn't tell me you got new sidekicks."
"They are students from UA here on internships," Selkie explained. "Froppy and Amphitrite are both showing the makings of great heroes already."
The admiral smiled. "Well, I'm looking forward to the day the two of you get your licenses. Anyone Selkie thinks can make a great hero is one I'd enjoy working with."
Mipha and Tsuyu looked at each other and smiled sweetly.
"Midnight, I'm en route as we speak! I'll be there in about five minutes!"
"Aw, you just take your time, love! As long as you don't go and hurt that adorable face of yours, then you can take all the time you need!"
Momo was on patrol with Midnight, who had also run into Mt. Lady and Miruko with their interns, Kyouka and Mina when a Villain Attack was reported downtown. Already the six ladies were hurrying to the source and when they all saw it, they were deeply flummoxed.
"Is that...a giant cake monster?"
Sure enough, it was a giant golem made out of cake, wreaking havoc on the town as people ran away in terror.
Momo shook her head. "It doesn't matter what kind of monster it is, we need to stop it now!"
Acting quickly, the six rushed into battle, Momo creating a giant hammer while Kyouka proceeded to plug her ear jacks into the ground, creating fissures to try and loosen the cake golem's balance as Mina threw out globs of acid to pierce through the hardened icing covering it.
Mirko's leg went full speed against the monster, hitting it head-on, and getting covered in icing and cream. Mt. Lady grew to giant size to try and hold the cake golem in place, but it was much more frisky than she was expecting.
"Damn, it's tough! Any other ideas?" Miruko grunted as Midnight rubbed her chin before a rather crazy idea came into her head.
"I have one, but it's a bit...weird." The R-Rated Heroine said. "Since it's a monster made of cake, let's just eat it!"
"Miss Midnight, are you sure?" Momo asked skeptically.
"Hey, there's six of us! We can wolf it down in no time!" Midnight smiled.
"Ugh! This is ridiculous!" Mt. Lady cried before finally caving in. "Oh well, but don't complain when I eat more than you, hag!"
"We'll see about that!" Midnight snapped back as she ran in.
"Hell yeah! I could use a bite!" Miruko laughed as she rushed in as well.
"Come on, girls! Free cake!" Mina giggled as Kyouka and Momo looked at each other, still unsure but ultimately, they followed their friend.
The six didn't strike the monster but instead began to bite it, tearing its 'skin' and taking the first mouthful of many more to come as they carried out their plan.
"You better be hungry! There's only so much the both of us can eat. Keep in mind the PLUS ULTRA spirit!" Miruko cried.
"Mmmmmm~! For a giant cake monster, it's pretty good!" Mina said, her mouth stuffed with whipped cream.
Mouthful after mouthful, they forced huge portions of cake into their mouths, the cake golem shrinking down. Soon, the monster had shrunk to almost nothing but devouring it had taken its toll on the six ladies, having gone from thin, with some muscle definition and generous, envious curves at all the right places; to quite fat.
"S-So full..." Momo moaned, covering her mouth to stifle an unladylike belch.
"Ugh..." Mt. Lady said, looking over her ruined flabby figure. "I'm never gonna lose this weight..."
"Phew! That hit the spot!" Miruko laughed, patting her belly proudly. "Gotta say, I actually don't mind this extra padding. I'm still rearing to kick some ass!"
"Awww man..." Mina pouted, looking over her now round and plush body. "It's gonna be so much harder to dance..."
"Better start working it off..." Kyouka mumbled, sitting on her big butt and rubbing her belly.
"Well hey, you should feel proud, ladies!" Midnight said as the cake golem was now shrunken to a helpless state. "Least this thing won't be causing havoc anytime soon."
With one pudgy hand, Midnight grabbed the golem and shoved it into her mouth, gobbling it up in one bite. Everyone raised their eyebrows as her distended stomach rumbled. She rubbed it before releasing a mighty satisfied burp.
"Well, I wasn't expecting my daughter to make an absolute pig of herself today."
Midnight's chubby but still gorgeous face paled as she turned to see Tsuru there along with Metal Bat, both of them carrying an unconscious man dressed as a patisserie with a whiplash mustache.
"We found the Villain behind the monster." Metal Bat said before walking over to Mt. Lady and poking her belly. "Guess all that junk food finally caught up to you, huh?"
"Oh shut up, Bad..." Mt. Lady pouted, her chubby cheeks making her look all the more adorable.
"We're going to need to have you girls lose all this weight," Tsuru said firmly before turning to Momo. "Though I suppose it'll be easier for you to make the most out of your Quirk."
Momo pinched her belly but nodded. "I suppose you're right...maybe it won't be so bad."
The old woman patted Momo on the shoulder, giving her an understanding look.
"I know it's not exactly what you were expecting but sometimes even the strangest events can lead to the best outcomes."
I couldn't help myself, I'm a sucker for Big Beautiful Women.
