Brooke walked into the cafe about twenty minutes after Haley called her. Walking into the cafe Brooke spotted Haley behind the counter. " What's going on? You sounded kinda freaked out over the phone." Brooke said as she took a seat by the counter.

" Of course, I am freaking out. I got a text from David he's coming next weekend."

" What? Why?" Brooke asked in shock.

" He wants to take me out to dinner and catch up." Haley responded with a snort as she rolled her eyes." I am the one who breaks up with the guy all because I caught him in bed with my sister, and now he wants to take me to dinner so we can catch up? Yeah, I don't think so."

" What did you tell him?"

" Nothing, after I read his text I deleted it. Besides it was from an unknown number. So I couldn't respond back anyways." Haley said as she continues wipe down the counter. She then stops for a moment." You didn't give him my number did you?"

" Why would I give him your number? I haven't talked to him since you broke up with him."

" That's true. Maybe Quinn gave him my number." Haley said thoughtfully. Haley knew that Quinn was keeping in touch with David, even though Haley could never understood why Quinn is still friends with a guy who cheated on her sister with their other sister.

" What makes you think Quinn gave David your number? Does she even know you guys are not together anymore?" Brooke asked.

" Because Quinn seems to think just because David made a mistake, I should forgive him and work it out with him. Like that would ever." Haley responded in sarcasm." Hey, can you watch the cafe for a couple of hours?" Haley asked as she grabbed her car keys and purse.

" Yeah, were are you going?"

" I am gonna go talk to Quinn." Haley said as she walked around the counter and out of the cafe. When she was about to get into her car, she noticed Lucas pulling up behind her.

" Hey."

" Hey, where are you going?" Lucas asked as he got out of his car and closed his car door and walked over to Haley.

" I got some errands to run. I will be back in a couple of hours. Brooke is here watching the cafe for me. I will be back soon." Haley said as she got behind the wheel. After she closed her car door and started the engine. After she got her seatbelt on, Haley put the car into drive and pulled away from the cafe.

After Lucas watched Haley drive away. He walked back into the cafe.

" Haley, what you doing here?" Quinn asked as soon as she opened the door and saw her little sister standing out of her front door. She moved to the side and let Haley walk through." Can I get something to drink or eat?" Quinn offered as she closed the door behind them and went to sit back down on the couch.

" Thanks, but I can't stay for very long, I gotta get back to the cafe soon. Look I am going to ask you a direct answer and I am gonna need a direct and honest answer."

" Um, okay."

" Did you give David my number?"

" Why?"

" Damn it Quinn, just answered the question." Haley said as she was getting angry and very irritated right now.

" Yeah." Quinn answered with a deep sigh.

" What the hell?!" Haley asked as she raised her voice." You know why I ended that relationship, don't you?" Haley asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

" Yeah, of course I know Haley. You kept reminding me every time I tried to get you two back together."" Quinn responded as she rolled her eyes.

" Why?"

" What do you mean why? David loves you Hales and I know that you love him. But you two are too damn stubborn to realize that or even to work it out. Which I still can't see why you two can't. You guys are so perfect for each other."

" No, we are not. David and Taylor seems to be perfect for each other. Quinn you had no right to give David my number and now thanks to you, he's coming into town next weekend and he wants to take me out to dinner to catch up."

" Maybe he wants to apologize."

" Yeah one time too many. But none of that matters. All that does matter is that I need to get out of this dinner and not let Nathan find out about it either."

Haley scoffed as she shook her head." Yeah, well I don't wanna hear it. The fucking asshole slept with our slut of a sister, and then he tried to feed me all of his excuses and lies. He tried to tell me that it didn't mean anything and that Taylor didn't mean nothing to him. He even kept trying to tell me it was an one time thing."

" That's because, it was only a one time thing."

" One time too many. But none of that matters. All that does matter is that I need to find a way to get out of this dinner and how to tell Nathan." Haley responded with a sigh as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

" Why would you tell Nathan?... Wait are you like dating him?" Quinn asked as she raised her brow and smirks a little.

" I've been seeing him actually." Haley answered as she dropped her arm down to her side.

" How long has this been going on? And more importantly, why haven't you told me?"

" For almost a month and the reason why I haven't told you was because, I am still mad at you for trying get me and David back together, which you know that would never happen and because you took Taylor's side. Just like you always did when we were growing up."

" " I don't always take her side. But she did apologize for what she did to you and she did promise that it would never happen again."

" And, you actually believed her?" Haley asked with a scoff." You know what? I don't care anymore. All I care about right now is getting out of this dinner with David, and your gonna help me."

" Me? How?" Quinn asked as she brought her eye brows together in confusion.

" Figure it out, your the one who brought me into this mess by giving him my number. So your gonna have to figure out how to get me out of it. I gotta get back to the Cafe." Haley said as she headed towards the door.

" Haley?" Quinn asked as she stood up and watched Haley open the door.

Haley didn't say anything as she looked over her shoulder and waits for Quinn to continue.

" Are we good?" Quinn asked with a small smile.

" I don't know, I am gonna have to get back to you on that. Bye Quinn." Haley said with a nod as she walked out of the house and closed the door behind her. Haley took a look at the front door for a moment and then walked down the steps towards her car.
