A/N: Hello everyone, I am back with chapter five of this story. Here, we cover R1, episode 4.
Disclaimer: I don't own Code Geass
Things began with a new narration.
"At least we don't have to be reminded about Japan's enslaving." said Chiba.
The title "His Name Is Zero" came up.
"Well, I guess we know what this will be about." mused Rakshata.
Things began with Jeremiah interrogating Suzaku.
"Do you know anything about this weapon?" asked Jeremiah.
Jeremiah continued before Suzaku could answer.
"Suzaku Kururugi, it was the one used to rob Prince Clovis of his life. The barrel striations leave no doubt." answered Jeremiah.
Jeremiah was ashamed of his past self.
"You're the eldest child of Japan's last acting Prime Minister." continued Jeremiah.
"Throwing him under the bus." said Gino disapproving.
Suzaku had bruises on his face.
"You're making a mistake. I have never laid eyes on that gun." said Suzaku.
A soldier kicked the chair knocking Suzaku over.
"Jerk." said Rivalz.
"We've found your fingerprints all over this gun." said Jeremiah.
"I make no excuses for my past actions." stated present Jeremiah.
"You're wrong! I've done nothing!" declared Suzaku.
A soldier kicked Suzaku in the face.
"The idiot stuck with them." muttered Kallen.
The scene cut to Lelouch putting Nunnally to bed.
"That was Suzaku they mentioned on the news, wasn't it?" asked Nunnally.
"Yep, it looks like he's still alive." answered Lelouch.
"Yeah, it's been ages. We haven't seen him since the war ended." replied Nunnally.
Under his mask, Suzaku smiled.
"And Lelouch..." began Nunnally.
"What is it?" asked Lelouch.
"It's not true what they said on the news, was it?" asked Nunnally worried.
"Of course not. Suzaku would never do anything like that." answered Lelouch.
"But, you on the other hand..." began Cornelia.
Suzaku thought back to his father.
"Oh Nunnally, I already had." thought Suzaku.
The scene cut to the rebel's base.
"That's why we should have issued a freaking statement sooner! We could've taken credit for it!" declared Tamaki.
Tamaki marched out. Oghi sighed looking at the photo of himself, Kallen and Naoto.
"Naoto, I'm not cut out for this. I'm no leader." said Oghi flatly.
"Says the future Prime Minister." mused Lloyd.
The scene cut to a room where the elderly man who Lelouch played chess for was standing.
"Yes, everything is as requested. We have the best in the business working on it. Once the slide system is in order, it's all yours." said the old man.
It was revealed Lelouch was using his Geass on the man.
"Once I've erased all of the evidence, I should forget this ever happened, right?" asked the old man.
"Him too." muttered Rivalz disappointed.
The scene cut to the next day where the students were attending a speech held by Ruben Ashford.
"Truely there is a bitterly painful incident for all. The Viceroy of Area 11, our beloved Prince Clovis has been lost forever." said Ruben.
"Grandpa respects the Imperial Family, but he wasn't a fan of how the Japanese were treated." noted Milly.
The scene cut to Lloyd to Cecile.
"We've lost the most crucial part of the equation." said Lloyd.
"And he's going to face a firing squad." said Gino.
"I cared about that. I didn't want to lose my devicer." replied Lloyd.
"And even if we get one, they'd never match his readings. His operational efficiency clocks in at ninety-four percent." continued Lloyd.
"I'd beat that." scoffed Kallen.
"Perhaps they'll let Suzaku go." proposed Cecile.
"I should have known that wasn't going to happen." sighed present Cecile.
"Ever since General Bartley's disgrace, the Pureblood's have the military and I am gripped." said Lloyd.
The scene turned to the kids of Ashford after the assembly.
"The Pureblood's what?" asked Shirley.
"Well, from what I understand, they're saying only pureblood Britannians should be allowed to serve in the military." explained Lelouch.
The scene returned to Lloyd.
"Their view is one of their own can never be a criminal. But, if the criminal is an Eleven, it paves the way for Margrave Jeremiah to shut down the practice of granting natives honorary status." noted Lloyd.
Jeremiah could feel the dirty glances.
"And what about Suzaku?" asked Cecile.
"His fate is all but decided." answered Lloyd.
"The great Britannian justice system." said Kallen sarcastically.
The scene then returned to Ashford.
"Hey Lelouch! You got anything going on later? After all, classes have been cancelled for the day and people have been asking for a rematch." said Rivalz.
"You are not gambling you guys!" declared Shirley.
"Always the straight arrow." joked Milly.
"Maybe it's time to quit." proposed Lelouch.
"Huh?" asked Rivalz confused.
"I found a better opponent actually." explained Lelouch.
"His own homeland." noted Anya.
"I'm glad he didn't let me get involved." confessed Rivalz.
The scene then showed Kallen before transitioning to later at Tokyo Tower. A guide was spouting Britannian propaganda.
"What disgusting lies!" spat China.
"Why here of all places?" asked Kallen.
"It was Kururugi who contacted us, wasn't it?" asked Sugiyama.
It was revealed Oghi, Yoshida and Minami were also present.
"You realize you're in public and people might hear you." said Jeremiah.
"Nobody did so it was fine." replied Sugiyama.
"Attention please. Paging Miss Kallen Stadtfeld of Ashford Academy." said a voice over the intercom.
"I should have asked how he knew about being a Stadtfeld." sighed Kallen.
"But, Lelouch had already convinced you it wasn't him so you would not have suspected him." noted Cornelia.
"Hi. I'm assuming this phone is yours." said the attendant.
The woman held a phone for Kallen.
"A burner phone that couldn't be traced back to Lelouch." said Rakshata.
"He truly knew what he was doing." added Kaguya with a faint smile.
"Oh yeah, there's no debating. Life is better here thanks to Prince Clovis. I mean it's all due to Britannia that we can rebuild as quickly as we did. I'm happy about that." said Oghi.
"What the hell is that about?!" asked Chiba angrily.
"I mean...well..." began Oghi, trailing off.
Kallen answered the phone.
"I want you to board the outbound train on loop line five. And bring your friends." said Lelouch.
"What's this about?" asked Gino curious.
"You'll see." answered Kallen.
The scene then cut to Jeremiah.
"You handled His Highness's memorial program very well, a bit weepy for my taste." said Jeremiah.
Kewell and Villetta were standing on either side of Jeremiah.
"Yes, well the masses tend to like tear-jerkers, your excellency." said Diethard.
"I hate that guy." grumbled Tamaki.
"Spoken like a true TV man. Still, I have to acknowledge the finesse you've shown. You did well in the short time you've had. One would almost think you were expecting High Highness to meet his untimely end." said Jeremiah.
"It's quite common for memorial programs to be to be set well in advance for important people." explained Diethard.
"Except for father." thought Nunnally.
"Does that include me as well?" asked Jeremiah.
"Recent events may have bumped you up the list a bit your excellency." answered Diethard.
"I wasn't deemed important enough until now?" asked Jeremiah.
"You are important." stated Anya.
"Thank you." replied Jeremiah.
"Ever thought of enlisting? The army could use more men like you." said Jeremiah.
Cornelia let out a noise of disgust.
"I don't think it would be a very good fit. Not really my cup of tea." replied Diethard.
"He could have gone far." muttered Gino.
"I have another favor to ask of you. Tomorrow night Suzaku Kururugi will be transferred to his court-martial." began Jeremiah.
"We should line the road with good patriotic Britannians." stated Diethard.
"You catch on quickly." mused Jeremiah approvingly.
"We were fed propaganda." said Nina disappointed.
"Lord Jeremiah, there are those among the Elevens who see Private Kururugi as a hero. Some might very well make an attempt to free him." warned Villetta.
"I'll be there personally on my Sutherland. If anyone even thinks of causing trouble, they will be executed on that spot." said Jeremiah.
"How far I have come." mused Jeremiah.
The scene returned to the rebels on the train. Kallen answered the phone.
"What now?" asked Kallen.
"Face forward and look the right. What do you see?" asked Lelouch.
Kallen looked at the settlement.
'"The Britannian city. It was stolen away from us and built on our sacrifice." answered Kallen.
"And on the left?" asked Lelouch.
Kallen turned and looked at the ghetto.
"I see our city. Remnants of the desiccated city after Britannians sucked it dry." answered Kallen.
Milly, Rivalz and Nina winced at their friend's words while the Japanese contingent silently agreed with Kallen.
"Good answer. Now make your way to the front of the train." said Lelouch, hanging up.
Kallen began heading to the front of the train with Oghi, Sugiyama and Yoshia behind her.
"Not very subtle." noted Rakshata.
"Well..." began Oghi.
"Nothing happened so it was fine." countered Villetta.
The group arrived and found someone waiting with his back to them.
"Was it you? On the phone?" asked Kallen.
"Do you think it's a trap?" asked Yoshida.
The other passengers were shown under the influence of Geass.
"How'd he get everyone on the train?" asked Gino impressed.
"Well, was that you in Shinjuku? Was that cease fire your doing?" asked Kallen.
"Hey, we're talking to you." said Sugiyama.
The train entered a tunnel taking away the light as the audience got their first look at Zero.
"I guess old feelings die hard." whispered Kaguya in awe.
"What did you think of my tour of the settlement?" asked Zero.
"Your tour." repeated Oghi confused.
"Come on, there's no way it's this joker." said Sugiyama.
"I wanted you to fully grasp the two, the settlement and the ghetto." continued Zero.
Kallen watched intently looking for any subtle clues she could pick up on.
"Yeah, we know. There is a difference between us and them. A very harsh one. And that's why we resist them." stated Oghi.
"You are wrong. Britannia will not fall to terrorism." stated Zero.
"Fall to you." muttered Chiba angrily.
"It's little better than a childish nuisance." added Zero.
"What was that? You calling us a bunch of kids?" asked Yoshida offended.
"You should know your enemy. It's not people, but Britannia its self! it is a war you must wage, but not on the innocent!" declared Zero.
"I can't believe we fell for that." said Oghi disappointed in himself.
Nearby, Suzaku focused on Lelouch's words.
"You were truly committed to destroying Britannia just like you promised those years ago. But you didn't want to hurt the innocent. You hadn't lost yourself at this point." thought Suzaku.
"That's all easy for you to say, isn't it?! Hiding behind that mask...why should we even trust you?!" asked Kallen.
"She's right!" declared Yoshida.
"Lose the mask!" demanded Sugiyama.
"Very well, I'll show you." said Zero.
"Here's we he used Geass on us." said Oghi.
"But, rather than my face, bear witness to my power." said Zero.
"He didn't Geass us." said Oghi.
"You would have remembered after I used my Geass Cancellor." noted Jeremiah.
The scene cut to the Japan Liberation Front.
"He killed the prince of Britannia! Suzaku Kururugi should be treated as a hero!" declared a solider.
"Yeah, but he's an Honorary Britannian." said a second soldier.
"So what?! The bastards gave up Japan, and people don't know about him!" cried a third solider.
"The whole Shinjuku business was the work of Kouzuki's group, wasn't it?" asked General Katase.
Tohdoh and Chiba frowned at the sight of their fallen leader.
"Yes sir. They being led by a man named Oghi at present." answered Lieutenant Colonel Kusakabe.
Nina cringed seeing the man who held her hostage.
"Has Kururugigi's family said anything?" asked Katase.
"No sir. They broken contact with him once he joined the military." answered Kusakabe.
"Ouch." winced Rivalz.
"Tohdoh, what are your thoughts?" asked Katase.
"We should not become involved in this public execution." answered Tohdoh.
"What?!" asked Gino surprised.
"You are Tohdoh the Miracle Worker, right?" asked Kusakabe.
"There is a difference between miracles and foolhardiness." answered Tohdoh.
Milly and Rivalz were clearly not happy with the explanation.
The scene cut to Llyod talking with Suzaku.
"Congratulations! Those two you asked about were not on the list of casulaties." said Lloyd.
"See! He was working with them from the start!" declared Tamaki.
"No much luck on your end though, you may be getting a trial, but no one is pulling for you certainely." noted Lloyd.
"But the courts are where the truth come to light." replied Suzaku.
Kallen let out a groan.
"I expect they'll be more smoke and mirrors than anything." said Lloyd.
"If that's how the world works, so be it. I have no regrets." said Suzaku.
"Idiot!" cried out Kallen.
The scene cut to the night of Suzaku's transportation. The student council was walking in their room while Nunnally watched at home in darkness. A reporter spouted Britannian propaganda.
"I remember seeing this on TV." noted Gino.
"It seems like forever ago now." added Rivalz.
"Camera five is a little slow." said Diethard, in a news van.
"This guy is a creep." stated Anya.
"The studio? Nothing has been pushed back." said Diethard.
"Get him off the screen!" cried Tamaki.
"I can see them! They have the suspect! Suzaku Kururugi is headed this way!" declared the reporter.
"Oh Suzaku." whispered Nunnally sympathetically.
"What a circus. And I'm as corrupt as any of them." mused Diethard.
"At least he admits it." muttered Villetta.
The scene briefly showed Kaguya behind a screen.
"It's you!" cried Tianzi excitedly.
The scene then cut to Lloyd and Cecile.
"This is insane. We know that Suzaku is innocent." stated Cecile upset.
"The court deemed our testimony inadmissible. There is nothing we can do." replied Lloyd.
"Really, Earl of Pudding?" asked Rakshata.
"Is that altruism or humanitarianism?" asked Lloyd.
"This isn't time for a game of semantics!" declared Cecile.
"Not much else to do? We both know where this case is headed, don't we?" asked Lloyd.
"In the end, we never could have known where it was headed." laughed present Lloyd.
The reporter continued while Nunnally watched in fear. Suddenly, it showed Lelouch putting on his cape.
"What was that for?" asked Tamaki.
The reporter talked about how Jeremiah would preside over the trial. It then showed Lelouch putting a glove on.
"I believe they are showing us Lelouch preparing." offered Kaguya.
The scene showed the other rebels.
"There's no way the three of them can pull this off on their own." said Tamaki.
Lelouch held up his mask.
"He told us. he'd make the impossible possible." noted Oghi.
"And we fell for his words." said present Oghi bitterly.
"No need to turn back. The die is cast." said Lelouch, putting his mask on.
"A quote from Caesar. How fitting." mused Cornelia.
"Acting consul Jeremiah..." began a soldier.
"What is it?" asked Jeremiah.
"Vehicle approaching." answered the soldier, "We just let it through as you instructed but..."
"It was the man who changed the world." said Kaguya, with a faint smile.
"Well Sir, it's Prince Clovis's car." revealed the soldier.
"How did he get that?" asked Rivalz.
"Geass most likely." answered present Jeremiah.
"All forces hold here!" ordered Jeremiah.
The Britannian forces stopped.
"They stopped! They really did!" declared Sugiyama.
"It's just a coincidence." scoffed Tamaki.
"Yeah, but he said Jeremiah would try to hog the limelight, make some sort of stand of it." noted Yoshida.
"Coincidence!" declared Tamaki.
Present Jeremiah could only smile.
"His majesty knew me so well." thought Jeremiah impressed.
"It's Prince Clovis's personal transport!" cried the reporter.
"Disrespecting the brother that he murdered." grumbled Cornelia.
"He's coming straight at them. What is he planning?" asked Oghi in position.
The scene showed Kallen driving.
"Hope they can't tell it's fake." said Kallen nervously.
"His right hand from the start." mused Gino.
Kallen rolled her eyes.
The scene flashed back to the night before.
"I see. Just you two then." said Zero.
"We were the only ones to trust him and we betrayed him." thought Kallen guilty.
"No, the two of you will do just fine." said Zero.
"Come on! That's ridiculous! There will be too many of them!" exclaimed Kallen.
"With your help, clearing the task at hand will be child's play. I'll need this by tomorrow. All that matters is the exterior." said Zero.
"I felt my heart jumping out of my chest." mused Kallen.
Gino smirked at the mention of her chest so Kallen shot him a glare.
"You dare desecrate his highness's transport. Come out of there." ordered Jeremiah.
Zero made his grand debut.
"I am Zero." said Zero.
"Zero." repeated Villetta confused.
Kaguya could no longer suppress her smile upon re-watching Zero make his debut.
"Oh Lelouch, why didn't you tell me the truth?" asked Kaguya to herself.
The reporter continued as the student council and rebels were watching.
"Zero? What do you mean like nothing?" asked Diethard.
"A fitting name indeed." said Xingke.
The reporter continued as the JLF was shown.
"Is he an Eleven?" asked Suzaku to himself.
"Japanese!" snapped Chiba.
"Now time to return the favor, Suzaku." thought Zero.
"I've seen enough of this little show Zero. This little show of yours is over." said Jeremiah.
Jeremiah fired a shot into the air and a quartet of Sutherlands came down surrounding the vehicle.
"First things first, why don't you lose that mask." continued Jeremiah.
Zero reached for his mask, but snapped his fingers revealing the container that held C.C.
"Jeremiah never saw what was in the container." noted Xingke, understanding.
Lelouch said the same thing. Suzaku tried speaking up, but was zapped by his collar.
"That collar is cruel." said Kaguya upset.
"He's taken every Britannian here hostage, and he's done it without even knowing it." thought Jeremiah horrified.
"His majesty truly bested me." whispered Jeremiah honored.
The scene cut to Diethard.
"Unit six bring up the sound and get that camera right in his face!" ordered Diethard.
"Sir, it's too hairy out there." said a staffer.
"Damn, amateurs!" spat Diethard disgusted, grabbing a camera.
"His obsessions began." said Oghi creeped out.
"Fine what are your demands?" asked Jeremiah.
"An exchange, this for Kururugi." answered Zero.
"Like hell! He's charged with high treason for murdering a prince! I can't hand him over!" declared Jeremiah.
"No. You're mistaken Jeremiah. He's no murderer." began Zero.
Diethard ran out and Zero looked right into his camera.
"The man who killed Clovis was myself!" revealed Zero.
"He truly made an amazing first impression." mused Rakshata.
"He was a demon!" declared Cornelia.
"Yes, but his charisma can not be denied." replied Tohdoh.
"My husband saved my cousin." whispered Kaguya emotionally.
"What did you say?" asked Tianzi.
"Nothing." answered Kaguya.
"There is no way out of this." said Oghi worried.
"We are so screwed." said Kallen shaking.
"For a single Eleven, you'll save scores of countless Britannians. I find that to be a bargain." said Zero.
"This is all one big performance to him." said Diethard, with a Cheshire Cat smile.
"Creepy bastard." said Tamaki.
"He is mad I tell you! Disguising this truck as His Highness's?! He'll play the prince for mocking the crown!" declared Jeremiah.
"Careful. You don't wish the public to learn of Orange, do you?" asked Zero.
"What was Orange anyway?" asked Oghi.
"Bluff." answered Anya.
Jeremiah nodded his head confirming.
Zero tapped his heel on the truck and Kallen began driving forward.
"If I die, it'll all go public." warned Zero, "If you don't want that to happen..."
"What are you talking about?! What is this?!" asked Jeremiah confused.
Lelouch activated his Geass.
"The privilege of being subject to his majesty's Geass." whispered Jeremiah honored.
"You'll do everything in your power to let us go. Your prisoner too." ordered Lelouch.
"Right, understood." said Jeremiah.
Jeremiah turns to the soldiers guarding Suzaku.
"Yo there, release the prisoner!" ordered Jeremiah.
"And thus your career was ruined." said Lloyd.
"No, it was the beginning of fulfilling my loyalty." whispered Jeremiah.
"What on earth are you doing, My Lord?!" asked Villetta confused.
"Get that man over here." demanded Jeremiah.
"And yet you still followed Lelouch." noted Tohdoh weary.
Jeremiah shrugged his shoulders.
"What are you thinking? You can't do this!" declared Kewell.
"Lord Kewell, this is an order." replied Jeremiah.
Villetta could only frown.
"I hope you are resting well Kewell." whispered Villetta.
Suzaku was released and met Zero amidst jeers from the crowd.
"Here's where we'll see they were together." stated Tamaki.
"So, who the hell are you?" asked Suzaku.
Suzaku was shocked by his collar as Kallen approached Zero.
"As I thought, they didn't allow you to speak." said Zero.
"Huh?" asked Tamaki confused.
Oghi activated his MR-1 while Villetta got into her Sutherland.
"If they get away, we'll lose everything." said Villetta distressed.
"It's time to go, Zero." noted Kallen.
"Well then, until next time." said Zero.
Zero pressed a button spewing gas out of the container. This incited a panic.
"It was colored smoke." revealed Kallen, to ensure calm.
"You cowardly Eleven!" cried Villetta.
Villetta aimed her gun, but was stopped by Jeremiah.
"Lord Jeremiah, what are you..." began Villetta.
"You heard me! Stand down!" ordered Jeremiah.
Zero, Kallen and Suzaku fled off the bridge. Oghi shot off a net to catch them.
"It worked!" declared Oghi.
"Lelouch clearly planned this to the letter." said Xingke, impressed.
Kewell fired on Oghi forcing him to eject.
"Are you going to follow orders or not? And believe me, there will be repercussions. All units, do I make myself clear? Do everything in your power to help them escape." said Jeremiah.
"That was so cool." said Rivalz.
Rivalz quickly regretted his choice of words.
"It's fine." said present Zero, leading to no words.
Having escape; Zero, Kallen, Oghi and Suzaku returned to the rebel's base.
"Man, I didn't think he could really do it." admitted Sugiyama.
"Yeah, who is this guy?" asked Yoshida amazed.
"That's crap! How many times can a bluff like that work, anyway?" spat Tamaki.
"You gotta give the guy credit though." said Oghi.
Present Oghi winced at this.
"Gotta admit it, nobody else could have pulled that off. Not the Japanese Liberation Front, certainly not me." explained Oghi.
"We could have, but we would have regretted it." huffed Chiba.
"He completely fooled me." sighed Oghi sadly.
Zero was with Suzaku alone.
"It looks like they treated you rather roughly." noted Zero.
"Here's where it shows they're working together." stated Tamaki.
"So, is it true? Are you the one who killed Prince Clovis?" asked Suzaku.
"This is war. Why wouldn't I kill an enemy commander?" asked Zero.
"As much as a despise him, he has a valid point." confessed Cornelia.
"And the gas? There were civilians out there." continued Suzaku.
"A bluff to help things get along. the result, not a single death." answered Zero.
"The result. That's all that matters to you I suppose." mused Suzaku.
"Here comes the self-righteousness." sighed Kallen.
"Come join me. The Britannia you serve is a worthless dominion." said Zero.
"Maybe that's true, but...but this nation, it can be changed for the better, and from within." replied Suzaku.
This led to a series of groans from those watching.
"And anything gained through contemptible means is meaningless." said Suzaku.
Kallen rolled her eyes.
"Where are you going?" asked Zero.
"My court-martial starts in an hour." answered Suzaku.
"Are you crazy?! The only reason they're giving you a trial is to find you guilty! The judge, the prosecution and the defense!" declared Zero.
"Rules are rules." replied Suzaku.
"Idiot!" cried out Kallen.
"If I don't go, they'll start cracking down on Elevens...and Honorary Britannians." said Suzaku.
"He had a point there." mused Lloyd.
"But you'll die!" exclaimed Zero.
"That's fine." said Suzaku.
"Then you're an idiot!" declared Zero.
"Yes!" agreed Kallen.
"A friend used to tell me that. He said I was a fool." revealed Suzaku.
"See! He totally knows it's Lelouch!" declared Tamaki.
"I'd try to bring you in, but if I tried you'd kill me. if I die, I want to do so in the service of the people." said Suzaku.
"He can shove his service up his ass!" snapped Tamaki.
"I want to thank you, for saving me." said Suzaku, who left.
"Either Tamaki is right about Suzaku knowing it was Lelouch, or he's a moron." stated Chiba.
The scene cut to Nunnally at home watching the news when she heard someone.
"Miss Sayoko?" asked Nunnally.
The camera revealed it was actually C.C.
"How did she get in?!" asked Cornelia horrified.
"The front door." answered Nunnally.
Cornelia turned to Sayoko.
"Where were you?!" asked Cornelia.
"I was at my home in Shinjuku." answered Sayoko.
"Being an El...Japanese...Sayoko couldn't say with Lelouch and Nunnally." explained Milly.
Villetta looked at Lelouch's classmates.
"Did you figure out Lelouch was Zero?" asked Villetta.
"No clue." answered Rivalz.
"No." answered Nina.
Everyone looked at Milly.
"I...was suspicious." answered Milly.
This led to surprised gasps.
"I knew Lelouch was a prince and what happened to him, Nunnally and his mother. Part of me thought it could push him enough to being Zero." explained Milly.
"I also thought big brother was Zero. He tried to hide it, but I knew of his hatred to father and Britannia." added Nunnally.
"That makes sense." replied Kaguya.
"Kaguya, you looked like you were smiling." noted Tianzi.
"Oh, I was." replied Kaguya blushing.
"I don't remember that." admitted Tianzi.
"The High Eunuchs censored Zero a lot to prevent him from inspiring people to turn against them." explained Xingke.
"In the end, they were fears ended up being justified." added Xianglin.
"While I oppose Clovis's actions in Shinjuku, I cannot condone Lelouch killing him." stated Cornelia.
"I'm amazed you the rebels followed Zero so willing without knowing a thing about him." said Guilford.
"I never trusted the bastard!" declared Tamaki.
"He was a smooth talker who tricked us." said Oghi.
"Can we talk about how stupid Suzaku was?" asked Kallen.
"The dumbass actually turned himself in!" cried Tamaki.
"And he still wanted to change to the system "from within" after what they did to him." added Chiba.
"I..." began Nunnally.
Zero put her shoulder on Nunnally's shoulder.
"It's alright." whispered Zero.
"I think we should move on." proposed Nunnally.
A/N: That is where we'll end things for now. So, there is episode four finished with the grand debut of Zero. I hope you are liking this so far. Unfortunately, this is harder to wright than I thought and my job is an obstacle. The future of this is unsure. Next time, we cover R1 episode 5. Please review.
