Getting out of the shower, Haley grabbed a towel off of the towel rack and quickly dried off. After wrapping the towel around her body, Haley walked back into her room. Walking towards her side dresser Haley grabbed her cell to check on the time. When she saw that it was already six thirty. Haley sighs heavily." Great, David would be here soon." She grumbled as she set her cell back down and finished getting ready. Haley has not been looking forward to going to dinner with David tonight. As matter of fact Haley has been trying to get out of it. She even tried coming up with every excuse in the book just to get out of it tonight. But of course David wouldn't give up. So Haley just said fuck it and decided to go to dinner with him, just to see what he has to say that's so important.

Once Haley was dressed and ready. She grabbed her purse and her cell phone. Walking out of her room and into the livingroom, She found Brooke and Julian curled up on the couch together watching a movie." Hey, remind me again why I agreed to go out to dinner with David."

" Because if you don't go then he's gonna keep sending you gifts, until you talk to him." Brooke said as she kept her eyes on the tv screen." Besides hopefully after tonight the gifts will stop coming."

Haley just rolled her eyes as she sat down in the chair." Yeah, I doubt that. I know David and he doesn't give up that easy. It's not his style." Hearing a knock at the door, Haley groans as she threw her head back." Might as well get this dinner over with." She said as she got up from the chair.

Opening the door, Haley sighs deeply." Hello David."

" Hey, Hales. it's been a long time. You look amazing. You ready to go?"

" No, but we might as well get this over with. By the way how's Taylor?" Haley asked as she walked past him.

Walking into the restaurant, Haley noticed all the tables has dem lights. Looking around Haley also noticed all the fancy decorations all over the walls. She turned around and raised her eyebrows. "This place looks expensive. How can you afford this?"

David chuckled as he shook his head." You worry too much. Just let me take care of everything tonight." He said with a smirk as he walked up the hostess." Good evening, I got a reservation for two."

" what's your name sir?" the hostess asked as she looked through the list.

" It should be under Mr. Smith." David answered when he placed his hand against Haley's lower back. But was disappointed when Haley quickly moved away from him. He sighs deeply as he drops his hand down to his side.

" Come and follow me." The hostess said as she grabbed two menus off of the rack and leads them towards their table. Once Haley and David sat across from each other. The hostess handed them the menus." A waiter will be with you guys shortly." She said as she gave them a nod and turned around and walked back to her station.

During dinner, both Haley and David continue to eat their meals in silence. After awhile Haley couldn't take it anymore." What exactly do you want?" Haley asked getting into the conversation now.

" What you talking about?" David asked as he gave her a confused look.

" I am not stupid David, I don't hear from you in four years, and all of sudden you're sending me gifts and not to mention you asked out to dinner in a really fancy and expensive restaurant tonight. So you must want something from me, so what is it? "

David sighs as he drops his shoulders." You, I want you back. I want us back." David answered as he reached across the table and grabs her hand." What do you say? How about giving us another chance?" He asked with a smirk.

Haley scoffs as she pulled her hand away from his. " You seriously want me give us another chance? Are you out of your fucking mind?! There's no way in hell that I would ever do that. I wouldn't even consider it. Unless you've forgotten, you dumped me for my sister."

" of course I didn't forget Haley. I know leaving you to be with Taylor was a huge mistake. I will regret that for the rest of my life. " David pauses for a moment before continuing." Taylor walked out on me a few months ago."

" What the hell are you talking about? What do you mean she walked out on you?"

" I mean I came home from work one night and Taylor was gone. She took all her stuff and left. She didn't even leave a note."

" Yeah, that sounds like Taylor. She never stays in one place for too long or stay in a relationship for that long either. Look I'm sorry that she left you. But us getting back together, that's never gonna happen. I am sorry."

" There's another guy isn't there?"

" That's none of your business."Haley answered as she crossed her arms over her chest.There was no way Haley was gonna tell David about Nathan.

" Of course there is, I mean why wouldn't we get back together. Does he fuck you better than me?"

" Yeah... no I am not having this conversation with you. As far I'm concerned, this dinner is officially over, Goodbye David." Haley said as she stood up and grabs her things." Oh, one more thing. Stop sending me gifts and never call me ever again. " Haley said as she walked away from him and out of the restaurant.

Once Haley was out the door. She grabbed her cell out of her purse and called Brooke to pick her up. Two minutes later when Brooke pulled up. Haley got into the car and closed the door as she sighs deeply.

" That bad huh?" Brooke asked with concern.

" I really don't want to talk about it." Haley said softly as she leans back against the chair and closed her eyes.

" Fair enough." Brooke said as she pulled from the curb and headed for home.

Tonight was a complete and total disaster.Haley knew coming to this dinner was a huge mistake, she also knew David wanted something from her. As matter Haley knew all along that David wanted her back. Ever since he started sending her gifts a months back. But there's no way Haley is gonna let David back in her life and she's never gonna take him back either. As long as Haley doesn't have to see or hear from David Smith ever again everything will be fine.

Walking through the door of their apartment before Brooke, Haley noticed Julian was still sitting on the couch." I see you're still here." She said as she took her jacket off and placed it on the hook by the door.

" Yeah, I was gonna stay the night." I mean if it's alright with you."

Haley just shrugged her shoulders." It doesn't really matter to me if you stay the night or not. I mean it's not like Brooke needs my permission or anything. Brooke can do whatever she wants."

" Yeah, but it's your apartment too."

" Julian, don't worry about it. It's all good. I am gonna go to bed. Goodnight you two." Haley said as Brooke walked in and closed the door behind her as she turned around and walked towards her room closing the door behind her.

" Is everything okay with Haley?" Julian asked as Brooke sat down beside him.

" I don't know. All she said that she didn't want to talk about it. But I have a feeling David did something to piss Haley off."

" Like what?"

" I got no clue but I will find out tomorrow. Tonight, I just want my very talented and very sexy fiancee to take me to bed and fuck me all night." Brooke whispers seductively into his ear as she nibble and sucks on his earlobe.

" Mhmm anything for you." Julian said huskly as he scoops Brooke into his arms and carries her into her room as he kisses her deeply and passionately. Once they were in her room, Julian kicked the door shut and tossed a giggling Brooke on to her bed.
