A/N: Hello everyone, I am back with chapter seven of this story. Here, we cover Season 1, episode 6.
Disclaimer: I don't own Code Geass
The scene began opening in a strange new location. It appeared to be a temple-like structure and Emperor Charles was present.
"What the heck is this?" asked Rivalz confused.
"Something to do with Geass for certain." answered Chiba bitterly.
An unnamed figure approached the Emperor.
"Your majesty. The remains have arrived." noted the figure.
"Prince Clovis." muttered Jeremiah.
"I was just conversing with Clovis actually." revealed Charles.
"Did he just say he was talking to a dead person?" asked Milly confused.
"Great, he's PMS!" cried Tamaki.
"That's ESP!" snapped Kallen blushing.
"The project must proceed, without a moment's delay." stated Charles.
"A project involving that despicable Geass." spat Cornelia.
Guilford leaned over.
"Ma'am, do you believe it is possible that Emperor Charles possessed a Geass?" asked Guilford hushed.
"I believe there is no doubt." answered Cornelia flatly.
"Do you think Lady Marianne was aware?" asked Guilford.
"I pray not." answered Cornelia worried.
Nearby, Anya shivered at this.
"She will never hurt you again." whispered Jeremiah comfortingly.
The scene then cut to Ashford.
"What's an Eleven doing here?" asked a male student annoyed.
The Japanese contingent watching frowned at this.
"He was a suspect in Prince Clovis' murder!" said a female student worried.
"But the teacher said the chargers were dropped." noted a second female student.
"I see talking about someone behind their back is a part of Britannian culture." scoffed Chiba.
"That isn't exclusive to one group." replied Guilford.
"He was suspicious enough to arrest, though. Right?" replied a second male student.
"Only because he's Japanese!" snapped Tamaki.
The camera moved to Kallen with two female students and a male student.
"You don't really think he's a terrorist, right?" asked a female student concerned.
"He had no problem terrorizing his own people." spat Chiba.
"Of course, he isn't. the school board would know something like that." answered the male student.
"At least some students weren't immediately suspicious." muttered Kaguya, a bit relieved.
"If only I'd know, I could have taken Suzaku out and prevented all of this." thought Kallen.
The camera showed Nina, Rivalz, and Shirley.
"An Eleven here at school?" asked Nina worried.
"He is an Honorary Britannian." noted Rivalz.
"I know...but all the same." said Nina.
Nina could feel the Japanese eyes burning a hole in her.
"Well he doesn't look all that scary to me, why don't we just talk to him?" proposed Shirley.
"Well, a Britannian girl actually showing kindness to an Eleven. How out of sorts." mused Rakshata.
"That was Shirley. The nicest, sweetest girl you'd ever meet." explained Milly smiling.
Shirley tried to walk over to Suzaku, but Rivalz stopped her.
"The guy just got here. Give him some space." said Rivalz.
"And what was that about?!" asked Tamaki angrily.
"I didn't want to overwhelm Suzaku after he just arrived." answered Rivalz, uneasy about putting on the spot.
"Could it be possible that subconscious bias played a role." proposed Lloyd.
"Lloyd!" snapped Cecile.
"He might have had a subconscious fear of Suzaku even that he didn't realize existed. Years of conditioning by Britannian government." explained Lloyd.
Lelouch got up and passed Suzaku. Lelouch stopped at the door and pulled on his collar which Suzaku noticed.
"Why did he do that?" asked Tianzi confused.
"That was how Lelouch and Suzaku would signal each other. They did that prior to the invasion." answered Kaguya.
Suzaku walked up to the roof where he found Lelouch waiting.
"Seven years since we've used this signal, long time huh?" asked Lelouch.
"Here's where they team up! I'm calling it!" declared Tamaki.
"Meeting on the roof like the old days." mused Suzaku.
"Yeah." agreed Suzaku.
"So that's where went off too." chuckled Kaguya amused.
"I'm glad you're okay. I've been worried." confessed Suzaku.
"See! Look hoy buddy buddy they are!" exclaimed Tamaki.
"Don't be so presumptuous." replied Jeremiah.
"But out!" snapped Tamaki.
"Alive and kicking thanks to you." began Lelouch.
The former prince flashed back to Suzaku being shot in Shinjuku.
"You almost died trying to protect me." stated Lelouch.
"I was just returning the favor from seven years ago." replied Suzaku.
"It's just like how they acted before the invasion." said Kaguya, with a hint of nostalgia.
"What about the girl? You know, from the capsule?" asked Suzaku urgently.
"Probably buying pizza with Lelouch's money." grumbled Kallen.
"I don't know. We got separated during the fray." answered Lelouch.
"Why did he lie?" asked Tianzi confused.
"Probably protecting C.C. from being captured by the military." answered Gino.
"I knew she was his whore!" cried Tamaki.
"Shut up Tamaki!" demanded Kallen blushing.
"Lelouch was telling the truth about being separated in Shinjuku. He didn't mention her return." stated Kaguya.
"But, you would know more about her than I do, right?" asked Lelouch.
"No. The only ones who knew anything were the inner circle of the royal guard." answered Suzaku.
"And now Lelouch knows Suzaku has no new information." mused Tohdoh.
"That idiot Kururugi didn't even realize what Lelouch was doing." added Oghi surprised.
"Suzaku was never the bright, to begin with." scoffed Tamaki.
While those who knew Suzaku felt the urge to defend him, they knew they could not.
"And your name. Do I still call you Lelouch?" asked Suzaku.
"The records count my old identity among the dead. I go by Lelouch Lamperouge now." answered Lelouch.
"I'm curious, where exactly did Lamperouge come from?" asked Xianglin.
"That was Empress Marianne's maiden name." answered Cornelia.
Cornelia couldn't help but smile a bit thinking of Marianne while Anya sneered which only Jeremiah and Sayoko noticed.
"And you? What happened at your court-martial? And why did you enroll at this school?" asked Lelouch.
"You probably put this all together to get Suzaku on your side." said Minami.
"I'm as surprised as you are. What are the odds we'd end up at the same school?" asked Suzaku.
"Here it comes." said Tamaki with anticipation.
"Truth is, someone arranged for me to have a proper investigation. And that person said a seventeen-year-old should be in school." explained Suzaku.
As Suzaku spoke, it cut to Euphemia looking at numerous paintings hanging up.
"So Princess Euphemia was behind this?" asked Gino confused.
"Princess, you always possessed such kindness." whispered Nina in awe.
"If one royal sibling could turn on the empire, any of them could." shrugged Chiba.
"Bite your tongue!" snapped Cornelia offended.
The scene showed a picture of a young Lelouch and Nunnally with their mother.
"Is that..." began Rivlaz.
"My brother and I a few months before our mother was killed and we were sent to Japan." revealed Nunnally mournfully.
Anya balled his fists.
"Witch." thought Anya, staring with hatred at Marianne.
"Were all of these painted by Clovis?" asked Euphemia.
"Yes." answered the butler.
"They're pretty.' cooed Tianzi.
"Pretty nothing, that son of a bitch trying to kill every Japanese in Shinjuku! You saw that!" screamed Tamaki angrily.
Kaguya consoled her friend.
"We're well aware of that." said Kaguya.
"Don't you dare take that tone with the Empress." wared Xingke firmly.
"Look, let's just forget about it." proposed Oghi.
"Such gentle colors. Very much akin to my brother." stated Euphemia.
"Both were genocidal monsters." scoffed Sugiyama.
"Geass forced Euphemia to commit that massacre!" declared Cornelia defensively.
The scene then cut to a Britannian military base.
"We've successfully identified the guerillas." said a Britannian subordinate.
"That's good. Now all we need is their hide-out." replied Darlton.
"Darlton, always a valiant leader." said Cornelia.
"Get that intel to the Viceroy." ordered Darlton.
"Yes, My Lord." replied the subordinate.
Everyone tensed up knowing a battle was about to occur. Kaguya made sure to be close to Tianzi.
The scene cut to a battle between Japanese rebels and Britannian forces.
"I believe this was our operation to eradicate the Blood of the Samurai outfit." noted Guilford.
"Murdering more Japanese." spat Chiba bitterly.
"One person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter." noted Rakshata.
"It's all relative." added Anya.
The battle continued showing a Japanese turret being destroyed. It then showed Cornelia in her Knightmare Frame charging in.
"is that Cornelia?" asked a rebel worried.'
"Relics of a forgotten age." spat Cornelia.
"What does that mean?!" asked China offended.
"Their weapons were leftovers from the pre-invasion Japanese forces. It was outdated by the time this occurred." explained Cornelia casually.
"Even Kyoto could only do so much." sighed Kaguya.
Cornelia wasted no time eliminating the turrets with ease.
"Darlton, in here, correct?" asked Cornelia.
Cornelia charged into a tunnel.
"Not for this level of resistance." answered Cornelia.
"Quite dangerous to attack the enemy alone." noted Tohdoh.
"I faced tougher combat in training." shrugged Cornelia.
"Are you referring to the former Knight of 9?" asked Guilford curiously.
"I have no doubt Nonette is keeping the Glinda Knights in order." answered Cornelia, with a faint laugh.
"Surrender at once, you feeble-minded Elevens!" demanded Cornelia.
"I will admit, I regret aspects of my past self." confessed Cornelia.
"Down with Britannia!" cried the rebels.
The rebels opened fire, but their bullets didn't even scratch Cornelia's Knightmare.
"Doesn't seem Zero is here. No point in going after them all at once, I supposed." noted Cornelia.
Cornelia raised the gun on her Knightmare.
"Vermin. Rot like the filth that you are!" exclaimed Cornelia.
"So we're vermin?" asked Tamaki angrily.
"I viewed all of my enemies are vermin." stated Cornelia.
"Dehumanizing your opponent is a common tactic." noted Xingke.
"And it was common for Britannians to view non-Brtiannians are lesser." added Cecile.
"That's horrible!" cried Tianzi shocked.
"Generation upon generation of government propaganda will due that." shrugged Lloyd.
"Luckily, we're getting passed that now." added Villetta rubbing her stomach.
Cornelia easily eliminated the rebels.
"Was Lelouch right? Was our fighting until then a mere nuisance?" asked Kallen to herself.
The scene cut to that night. Nunnally returned home being wheeled in by Sayoko.
"Miss Shinozaki, why did you work for Britannians?" asked Oghi.
"I lost everything in the invasion, like many others, and needed employment." answered Sayoko.
"Luckily, my grandfather hired her, and then she moved to work for Lelouch and Nunnally." added Milly.
"So you sold out." spat Tamaki.
"I did what I needed to in order to live." countered Sayoko.
"Hi, Lelouch! I returned home." said Nunnally.
"Hit, there!" greeted Lelouch happily.
Nunnally could help but miss these halcyon days.
"Welcome back Miss Sayoko." continued Lelouch.
"As you can, I was treated very well." noted Sayoko.
"Miss Sayoko has always been very important." added Nunnally warmly.
Llyod noticed Gino had a dreamy look on his face.
"My, it seems someone has a fancy for Miss Shinozaki." mused Lloyd.
"It's not that!" declared Gino.
"Then what, pray tell, is it?" asked Lloyd, curious.
"Nothing. Forget it." stated Gino.
"I got a special present for you today." revealed Lelouch.
"Really? What could it be?" asked Nunnally curious.
Lelouch held his finger to his mouth indicating Sayoko not to speak. Suzaku came in and placed held Nunnally's hand.
"This hand. Thank heaven. I knew it. I just knew you'd be alright." said Nunnally as she began to cry.
"She seems rather fond of Suzaku." noted Chiba suspiciously.
"I hadn't seen him in seven years and there was so much I couldn't predict." explained Nunnally.
"It's been a long time, Nunnally." replied Suzaku happily.
The scene then cut to a bit later.
"So, tell me, you will stay the night, won't you?" asked Nunnally.
"Suzaku's enrolled as a student at Ashford Academy now. So, you can see him anytime you want to." revealed Lelouch.
"Why couldn't this have lasted?" asked Nunnally mournfully to herself.
"Is that true?" asked Nunnally happily.
"Well, I still have military duties so I can't be here every day." noted Suzaku.
"And that is why things had to change." sighed Nunnally mournfully.
"Oh you're...you're still in the military?" asked Nunnally worried.
"Don't worry. I've been reassigned to the Engineering Corps. Less dangerous." answered Suzaku reassuringly.
"I fail to see how piloting a Knightmare is less dangerous." noted Anya.
"Suzaku is trying to reassure Miss Nunnally. No need to worry her." explained Sayoko.
"If Suzaku had mentioned that, would Lelouch have figured out he was the pilot of the white Knightmare." mused Xingke.
"With his intelligence, I am certain he would have." replied Jeremiah.
"I wonder how that would affect their dynamic." mused Kallen.
"The two still worked together! It wouldn't have affected squat!" declared Tamaki.
"Regardless, I am most grateful for my devicer. Piloting the best Knightmare Frame to be built wasn't easy." stated Lloyd.
"Second best after my Guren." scoffed Rakshata.
Lelouch stood up and took the teapot.
"Oh, let me help you." offered Suzaku, standing up.
"You just sit down. Unlikes seven years ago, we get to be your host now." said Lelouch.
"Miss Sumeragi, how were Lelouch and Nunnally as guests?" asked Milly curiously.
"I was a bit scared of them at first, but they were very considerate." answered Kaguya.
"What do you mean you were scared of them?" asked Tianzi surprised.
"Having strangers stay with me was scary. However, I overcame that." explained Kaguya.
"I seem to recall you running back to the shrine, crying once." noted Tohdoh.
"What did that bastard do to you?!" asked Tamaki enraged.
"I thought he was the "demon of the forest" and he also told me I had no merit and nobody would want a woman like that." revealed Kaguya.
"How dare he." spat Chiba.
"He was right. Plus, I was really mean to Suzaku. Honestly, I think that made me into a stronger person." replied Kaguya.
Suzaku sat back down.
"It's funny. You're a lot more mellow than you used to be." noted Lelouch.
"And you're a bit more rough." replied Suzaku.
"I suppose." said Lelouch.
Suzaku watched from under the Zero mask.
"I hope we made the right decision." thought Suzaku.
Lelouch returned to the kitchen where he found C.C. waiting.
"I told you to stay in my room." stated Lelouch.
"So, she really did move in with him." mused Kallen, trying to hide her jealousy.
"Master Lelouch informed us that Miss C.C. would be staying with us." shrugged Sayoko.
"I didn't really think much of it." confessed Nunnally.
"That boy out there, he is the Britannian soldier from Shinjuku, isn't he? Is that wise?" asked C.C.
"She does have a good point." admitted Xiangling.
"They're really close so Lelouch knew he wouldn't rat her out." countered Rivalz.
"Don't worry, it's fine. He's a..." began Lelouch
Lelouch put the teapot on the table.
"He's a friend...from the past." concluded Lelouch.
"See?! What did I tell ya!" declared Rivalz.
"Lelouch and Suzaku worked together to enslave the world, this is hardly a surprise." replied Tohdoh stone-faced.
The scene cut to Jeremiah as a prisoner.
"How the tables have turned." laughed Tamaki.
"I hope he was treated as badly as he treated the Japanese prisoner." said Sugiyama with disgust.
"Of course not. He's one of them." replied Minami.
"You're getting out Jeremiah." stated Guilford.
"Lord Guilford, you see I'm innocent. Don't you?" asked Jeremiah hopefully.
"Well, it seems in the eyes of the court you are anyway, Orange Boy." replied Guilford.
"What did I tell you." said Minami bitterly.
"They're was not enough evidence to prove Jeremiah collaborated with Zero!" exclaimed Villetta defensively.
"That wasn't a problem when you decided to railroad Kururugi." noted Sugiyama.
Villetta decided to drop the matter.
"Whatever the truth is, Zero got away. And you Pure Bloods let it happen. You've been demoted three ranks for failure." continued Guilford.
"Jerry, you don't look well." noted Anya.
"At the time, I thought my life was ruined. Little did I know it was just the beginning." said Jeremiah smirking.
"You have two options to choose from starting over as a pilot, or cultivating an orange farm." revealed Guilford.
"In the end, I ended up doing both." mused Jeremiah.
"Was that whole orange farm thing a dig at Jeremiah?" asked Rivalz curiously.
"Admittedly, it was. However, the offer was real." answered Guilford.
The scene returned to the Lamperouge residence. Suzaku was at the front door as Lelouch saw him off.
"You should come by again. Nunnally would enjoy it." said Lelouch.
"Sure." agreed Suzaku.
"Did Suzaku visit again?" asked Kaguya.
"A bunch of times." answered Nunnally happily.
"I'm...glad to hear that." confessed Kaguya.
"But..." began Suzaku.
"Huh?" asked Lelouch.
"I...I don't think we should be seen together at school." said Suzaku.
"What the heck would he think that?" asked Rivalz confused.
"What do you mean?" asked Lelouch surprised.
"Lelouch is Britannian, Suzaku is an Eleven who was almost killed for assassinating Clovis." answered Lloyd.
"Think, how would you explain it? being friends with an Honorary Britannian?" asked Suzaku.
"Lelouch could have a way.." stated Milly.
"You have to guard your secret. No one can know your royalty." continued Suzaku.
"I must admit, I can understand where Suzaku is coming from." confessed Cecile.
"Cousin, you were always sacrificing for others. It seems that never changed." thought Kaguya.
"And the same goes for Nunnally. i don't want to cause you any trouble." continued Suzaku.
"You never caused me trouble." muttered Nunnally, trying to forget the ugly ending of this tale.
"Doing it again, huh? Everybody's needs but your own." stated Lelouch upset.
Kaguya merely nodded.
"Again?" asked Suzaku surprised.
"Forget it." replied Lelouch flatly.
"So, Suzaku was always sacrificing for others." muttered Lloyd.
"It seems your hypothesis was spot on." stated Cecile.
"Eh, thanks for having me. It was a lot of fun. I'll uh, see you later." said Suzaku.
"Right." said Lelouch flatly.
"So, he was always a dense fool." spat Chiba.
"I never thought we'd get another chance to talk like this." said Suzaku fondly.
"So, are they working together or not?" asked Tamaki confused.
"At the moment, the answer is no." answered Tohdoh.
"You were so certain they would be allies by now, yet it still hasn't happened." noted Lloyd.
"Hey, it can still happne!" declared Tamaki.
"It's no wonder Prince Schneizel manipulated them so easily." whispered Lloyd.
It showed C.C. watching Suzaku depart then cut to the next day at school. Lelouch and Rivalz were in the hall.
"So, what's the deal? Something happen to ya yesterday?" asked Rivalz.
Currently, Rivalz could only pine for simpler days.
"You didn't even show up for the student council meeting." continued Rivalz.
"You know, I kind of tanked that history exam." answered Lelouch.
This drew a round of scoffs.
"His majesty would never fail an exam." stated Jeremiah proudly.
Suzaku walked by and Lelouch watched him.
"I don't buy that. With the way you study." said Rivalz.
Rivalz stopped as he noticed Lelouch.
"I figured he was curious about the new guy." shrugged Rivalz.
Suzaku entered the classroom where he was clear the other students were weary of him.
"Not the warmest welcome he could have gotten." admitted Milly guilty.
It cut to the same two boys from Shinjuku at Suzaku's locker.
"Great, what are those pricks up to?" asked Tamaki annoyed.
The scene cut to the Black Knights hideout where Oghi was on the phone.
"It hasn't made the news yet, but the Blood of the Samurai faction was wiped out by Cornelia." noted Oghi.
The scene went to Ashford where Lelouch was talking on his phone.
"It was the largest group we had in Central Japan. Look, Zero, it won't be long until she comes after us." continued Oghi worried.
"The Black Knights were at the top of my priority list, but we were never able to pin down your exact location." revealed Cornelia.
"Just keep your head. Our chance will come." said Lelouch.
"But..." began Oghi.
"Sit tight. I'll contact you later." stated Lelouch.
Lloyd chuckled.
"What's so funny?" asked Cecile.
"Lelouch is using his regular cellphone." answered Lloyd.
"And?" asked Gino confused.
"Propose that call was intercepted and traced back to Ashford." answered Lloyd.
"You would think someone as smart as Lelouch would have used a burner phone." explained Rakshata.
Lelouch ended the phone call.
"It's getting too overly familiar. Maybe I'd better cut my ties with them." mused Lelouch.
"So, he was using us!" cried Tamaki angrily.
"We were nothing but his pawns." spat Minami.
Villetta saw Oghi was distressed.
"I was a fool to trust him." said Oghi, self-deprecating.
"Kaname, Lelouch was a master manipulator who fooled a lot of people." replied Villetta.
"He even lied and used his family." added Sugiyama..
Nunnally, Milly, and Rivalz wanted to defend Lelouch. However, they knew better than to do so.
"Why you..." began Jeremiah angrily.
Before he could continue, Jeremiah felt a hand on his.
"Stay calm Jerry. There's no use in getting upset.' noted Anya.
Jeremiah took a deep breath.
"You're right. Thank you." sighed Jeremiah.
Lelouch saw Suzaku washing his shirt with "Go back to your Ghetto Eleven on it
"See how we were treated in our own damn country!" snapped Tamaki angrily.
"I speak for everyone here when I say we don't condone their actions." replied Milly.
"Yet you did nothing to prevent it either." noted Chiba.
The scene cut to the Student Council room where Nina was working alone when the door suddenly opened.
"Nina." began Nunnally.
"I'm sorry. Am I too loud?" asked Nina softly.
"No offense, but a mouse would call you too quiet." said Gino.
Kallen elbowed Gino in the ribs.
"Not at all. Why are you here? What about class?" asked Nunnally.
"It was a free period." revealed Nina.
Nunnally could sense something was bothering Nina.
"Is something wrong?" asked Nunnally.
"Well, it's...I dunno, a little scary." answered Nina.
"Scary?" asked Nunnally confused.
"We have a transfer student in our class now. It's that boy who was accused of murdering Princes Clovis. He's an Eleven." explained Nina scared.
Nina opted to try and ignore the death glares the Japanese contingent was giving her.
"Your majesty, I'm sorry if I offended you." offered Nina.
"It's okay Nina." replied Nunnally
The scene cut to the Lamperouge home where a Pizza Hut employee was making a delivery.
"Thanks for all the repeat business." began the employee.
"She's being hunted by Emperor Charles and she actually ordered pizza. Multiple times." said Rivalz surprised.
"That witch was addicted. I swear she needed an intervention." huffed Kallen.
"Although, the name on the account we debit has a guy's name." continued the employee.
"Did she...steal my brother's credit card...for pizza?" asked Nunnally amazed.
"Miss C.C. was fond of pizza." answered Kaguya shrugging.
"She must have had a damn good metabolism." mused Gino.
Arthur snuck in while C.C. was accepting her pizza.
"So that's how we got Arthur." said Milly.
"You "got" him." repeated Xianglin confused.
"He became our unofficial mascot." answered Rivalz.
"Is that okay?" asked the delivery guy.
"Of course, it's not her money." huffed Kallen.
The scene then showed Lelouch working on a case when C.C. entered with her pizza.
"Trying to hide your mask, huh?" asked C.C.
Arthur slipped into the room undetected.
"Unlike my Geass, my mask is a physical piece of evidence." explained Lelouch.
"Well, he is taking some precaution." noted Lloyd, amused.
The door opened again revealing Nunnally.
"Alright Lelouch, the tea is ready when you are." noted Nunnally.
"He's...having tea with his little sister." said Kallen, surprised and impressed.
"It seems might not have been fully gone yet." noted Xingke.
"That smell. Hey, did you order pizza again?" asked Nunnally.
"I'm racking up reward points." replied Lelouch.
"So much for "never lie to you" big brother." sighed Nunnally sadly.
"That bastard, did he even care how he hurt Nunnally?" asked Cornelia bitterly.
"I'll be right down, okay?" continued Lelouch.
"Lelouch." began Nunnally.
"Hm?" asked Lelouch.
"Maybe you should cut down on the pizza. You don't want a blubbery belly." teased Nunnally.
"Didn't seem to affect C.C. at all." noted Anya.
"I swear it went right to her ass." grumbled Kallen.
Nunnally couldn't help but get a bit emotional.
"I wish these times could have lasted." whispered Nunnally sentimentally.
"Just don't touch it or rub it, okay?" asked Lelouch.
"Things that sound weird when you say it to your sister." laughed Gino.
Kallen elbowed Gino in the ribs harder.
"Ooh, scary!" joked Nunnally.
Cornelia couldn't help but get a bit emotional herself.
"Princess?" asked Guilford concerned.
"Just remembering all the times, we shared as children." stated Cornelia.
The Lamperouge siblings departed leaving C.C. behind. Suddenly, the case fell over and a meow was heard.
"Wait, is Arthur the one stealing the mask?" asked Rivalz stunned.
The door opened as Arthur left.
"What the heck?" asked C.C. confused.
"He really is." said Milly, equally as surprised.
It cut to Lelouch and Nunnally having tea.
"Yeah, I was wondering if that was going on." confessed Lelouch.
"They're just being cruel to Suzaku." said Nunnally sadly.
"Aw, that's so mean." said Tianzi upset.
"Unfortunately, it seems Kururugi truly deserved it in the end." spat Villetta.
"No. It's just..." began Lelouch.
Lelouch took a moment.
"These things take time. People will come around." said Lelouch.
"I strongly doubt that would occur." said Chiba.
"Actually, it did." revealed Rivalz.
"So, he was happier being a sellout to Britannia." replied China disgusted.
Under his mask, Suzaku stayed calm. He was all to use to this type of abuse.
"Is there anything you can do though. I mean he is your friend?" asked Nunnally.
"His buddy who took over the world with!" snapped Tamaki.
"Your majesty, I don't get why Lelouch is acting like didn't know Suzaku was being harassed. He saw earlier what those jerks did." said Gino.
"Big brother always protected me from anything he thought would upset me." explained Nunnally.
Nunnally let out a sad laugh.
"I understand why he wanted to, but I was annoyed by it too. I'm not as fragile as he sometimes thought I was." added Nunnally.
Suddenly, Arthur came in wearing the Zero mask which caused Lelouch to let out a horrified cry.
"Geez, you'd think Zero would make a more masculine cry than that." chuckled Gino.
"Kururugi had the balls in their relationship." scoffed Tamaki.
Arthur ran out with Lelouch in chase.
"Hey, give that back!" demanded Lelouch.
"This is really happening." muttered Cornelia dumbfounded.
"Ah...Lelouch?" asked Nunnally confused.
"Your majesty, what exactly did your bother tell you happened?" asked Sayoko curiously.
"He said Arthur took something important and I didn't think it was relevant to press him for more details." answered Nunnally.
"A cat. a stupid cat. You've got to be kidding me." said Lelouch.
Lelouch climbed out a window and gave chase.
"There's no way I'm getting exposed by a lousy feline!
" declared Lelouch.
The scene then showed C.C. watching Lelouch while eating pizza.
That wasn't my fault, was it?" asked C.C.
"Of course, it was. You were always causing problems." grumbled Kallen.
"I didn't touch or rub anything." added C.C.
Both Tamaki and Gino opened their mouths to make jokes.
"Say anything and you'll regret it." warned Kallen.
Tamaki and Gino wisely chose to stay silent.
"I thought so." muttered Kallen.
The scene cut to Milly, Rivalz, and Nina outside the Lamperouge residence with Nunnally.
"How did you get there?" asked Kaguya curious.
"Nunnally was worried about her big brother so she called me. Rivalz and Nina were with me in the council room so they tagged along." explained Milly.
"Yeah, that's right. I think a cat ran off with something pretty important to him." said Nunnally.
"Important?" asked Milly surprised.
Cornelia suddenly turned to Sayoko.
"And where were you during all this?" asked Cornelia.
"I was...attending to other matters." answered Saoyoko.
"I'm not sure what, but I'm positive it was something of value to him." continued Nunnall.y.
"If only you knew." chuckled Gino.
"I was already suspicious big brother was Zero, but I confess that never crossed my mind here." revealed Nunnally.
"Because...I've never heard my brother sound like that. He was completely hysterical." said Nunnally.
"You mean he sounds like a girl." laughed Tamaki.
"Villetta, Cornelia, Chiba. and Xianglin gave Tamaki dirty looks.
"You just don't know when to shut up." sighed Kallen.
"That's weird. What could be so important to the guy?" asked Rivalz.
"A love letter." proposed Nina.
"Lelouch wouldn't know a girl liked him if she wore a flash neon sigh." groaned Kaguya.
"An embarrassing photo?" asked Milly.
"A more likely guess." noted Xingke.
"Poetry he wrote." proposed Rivalz.
Rivalz got several confused looks.
"Hey, it could be!" exclaimed Rivalz defensievly.
"Poetry..." repeated Nunnally surprised.
"Don't feel bad, that wasn't a bad guess." said Nunnally kindly.
"Thank you." sighed Rivalz gratefully.
Milly and Rival shared mischievous smiles.
"I don't like that expression." noted Tianzi.
"Whenever Milly got a smile like that, it was always bad news." muttered Kallen.
"Leave it to us! We'll get our hands on the thing before Lelouch has a chance to blink! Just you wait!" declared Milly.
Oghi looked over at Kallen.
"What does she mean by that?" asked Oghi concerned.
"You'll see." answered Kallen flatly.
It cut back to Lelouch chasing Arthur.
"That pussy stole his head's protection!" laughed Tamaki.
"Tamaki, I swear to God." grumbled Kallen.
"If I had those terrorists with me, we could encircle the enemy." said Lelouch.
"No way I'd chase a freaking cat!" declared Tamaki.
"Maybe Kallen. No, she's suspicious of me as it is." continued Lelouch.
"I wouldn't have helped me anyway. I wasn't fond of Britannians." admitted Kallen.
"If it was Zero, you'd bend over backwards for him." teased Tamaki.
"Shut up!" snapped Kallen flustered.
Lelouch continued chasing Arthur but fell into a bush.
"He 's hunting pussy and ended up in a bush!" laughed Tamaki.
Kallen smacked Tamaki upside the head.
"What was that for?!" asked Tamaki angrily.
"Get it together." said Lelouch.
"Is it me, or does Lelouch seem winded." noted Tohdoh.
"Lelouch never had the makings of a varsity athlete." shrugged Milly.
Arthur ran inside and stopped by a bulletin board to scratch an itch. Two girls happened to be there and spotted him.
"What's up with that cat?" asked the brunette.
"Is that Zero wears? Or am I crazy?" asked the blonde.
"No, the most wanted terrorist in the empire had his mask stolen by a common feline." answered Lloyd amused.
Arthur ran off as Lelouch arrived.
"No way. Why would it be here?" asked the brunette.
"Just ask the boy in front of you." noted Rakshata smirking.
"You two saw it?" asked Lelouch.
Lelouch activated his Geass.
"Forget everything you've just seen." ordered Lelouch.
Lelouch used his Geass on the students.
"That's so mean to do that to them." said Tianzi.
"He couldn't risk his identity being exposed." noted Kaguya.
"So that justifies using that vile power on two innocent girls?" asked Cornelia disgusted.
"I never said that. I'm just noting how Lelouch saw it." explained Kaguya.
"Sure. No problem at all." said the blonde.
"Lelouch resumed chasing Arthur.
"This is Milly Ashford, your Student Council President. Cat hunt, everybody!" declared Milly.
"Cat hunt." repeated Oghi confused.
The scene showed Suzaku alone in a classroom.
"Cat hunt?" asked Suzaku confused.
"See! Even he doesn't get it!" snapped Tamaki.
"That dense idiot wouldn't." grumbled Kallen.
"Why is Suzaku sitting in a classroom alone?" asked Gino.
"It is obvious he is not popular with his peers so it only makes sense." answered Xianglin.
"There is a cat loose on campus that needs to be rounded up. Put everything on hold, people. Participating clubs will get budget priority." explained Milly.
The scene cut to the school pool where the girl's swim team was.
"And whoever catches our feline friend will get an extra special prize: a big ol' kiss from a member of the Council." concluded Milly.
"Wouldn't that be akin to prostitution?" asked Guilford.
"I'm the mac daddy of Ashford!" declared Milly jokingly.
This revelation caused Shirley to fall off the diving board and into the water as Milly laughed.
"That must have hurt." winced Lloyd.
"She did fall in the water." noted Gino.
"That is true, but falling like that can still lead to injury." replied Cecile.
Villetta watched on conflicted.
"She did shoot me, but I can hardly blame her. I guess I really went soft." thought Villetta.
The scene then cut to Kallen outside.
"Members of...Wait! Like me!" cried Kallen.
A large number of guys jumped out from behind bushes.
"Yes!" answered the guys enthusiastically.
"What the hell were they doing there?!" asked Oghi.
"Yeah, that's creepy." said Kaguya worried.
"Honestly, it's better I don't know." groaned Kallen.
"You've been hanging around the Student Council, haven't ya?" asked one boy.
"Wouldn't mind a taste of those lips." said a second boy.
Oghi felt like he was going to puke.
"It's not going to be like some lame peck on the cheek though, is it?" asked a third boy.
"A kiss on the cheek would be fine with me." answered a fourth boy.
"This is the future of Britannia." muttered Cornelia horrified.
"Wait. Can we choose where we plant it?" asked a fifth boy.
Hearing this caused Oghi to turn from disgust to anger.
"What does that mean?" asked Oghi angrily.
"I think you're looking too much into it." answered Sugiyama.
"Yeah. Just take it easy." added Minami concerned.
"Don't worry, none of those creeps kissed me." revealed Kallen.
"Oh thank goodness." sighed Oghi in relief.
"All right!" declared the boys.
The boys ran off leaving a blushing Kallen behind.
"There's no way that's how I'm going to get my first kiss!" declared Kallen, running off.
"I'd never let that happen." muttered Oghi.
"Dude, Kallen is a big girl and can kiss whoever she wants." replied Tamaki.
The scene cut to a number of girls outside.
"What? A member of the Student Council?" asked one girl.
"Does that include Lelouch?" asked a second girl.
The girls squealed except for one.
"Actually I'd prefer Milly." confessed the one girl who didn't squeal.
"Could you go back in the closet, please?" asked another of the girls.
"That was mean." said Tianzi sadly.
"For a long time, homosexuality wasn't tolerated very well in Britannia." noted Lloyd.
"How come?" asked Tianzi confused.
"First, it was for religious reasons. Then, it eventually became due to the survival of the fittest doctrine that was implemented. Since same-sex couples cannot reproduce, they were deemed inferior." explained Lloyd.
"But, that attitude has changed in recent years." added Cecile.
"And now we're doing great!" declared Milly.
"We're." repeated Rivalz confused.
"I'm bi." revealed Milly.
"You can keep it/ Japan has real men!" declared Tamaki proudly.
"Tamaki, don't say stuff like that." pleaded Oghi.
"It's true." scoffed Tamaki.
"Homosexuality has existed in Japan since the feudal era." noted Tohdoh.
"If I recall, there were certain rumors about Asahina and which side of the fence he was on." mused Rakshata.
"How dare you!" snapped Chiba.
"Xingke, what is it like in China?" asked Tianzi.
"Public opinion is rising, but it has a way to go." answered Xingke.
"I want to change that!" declared Tianzi.
"If that is your wish, I support you." stated Xingke.
The scene showed a number of gridiron football players.
"Hut, hut! Fight!" declared the football players.
It then cut to the Equestrian club on horseback.
"We have the advantage of mobility." stated one of the club members.
"It then cut to the gardening club.
"Hurry, look for catnip!" cried a garden club member.
"Science will prevail!" declared another.
"This is really happening." said Cornelia awestruck.
"I take it nothing like this occurred to you." mused Lloyd.
"We were taught by the best instructors Britannia had." huffed Cornelia.
"Well...nothing like this happened when I was a teacher." admitted Oghi.
"And when you catch that cat, bring what it's carrying to me, to me, to me!" declared Milly.
Milly wound up coughing.
"I guess I stressed my vocal cords a bit." giggled Milly.
It showed Lelouch running after Arthur.
"Milly. Stay out of this, will ya?" requested Lelouch annoyed.
"Aw, but it's no fun if I can't tease you." giggled Milly.
The scene then cut to Kallen.
"Offering people up as prizes, that's why I hate Britannians." said Kallen.
"I..." began Kallen.
"I'll admit, it was a bit...unorthodox." confessed Milly.
Kallen had to stop running as two female students walked by. Once they were out of range, she ran off.
"Damn it! Why do I have to pretend I'm sick and feeble?!" asked Kallen annoyed.
"So we didn't know you were terr...rebel." answered Milly.
"I'd have preferred to be fighting full-time." noted Kallen.
"Then why come to school?" asked Rivalz.
"I promised my brother." answered Kallen, a bit somber.
Kallen continued running until she ran into someone.
"Jezz...I'm sorry about that." said Kallen.
It was revealed the figure was Shirley still in her swimwear.
Villetta found part of herself glad Shirley was okay.
"Shirley, why are you dressed like that?" asked Kallen surprised.
"I didn't have time to change. They're going to make us kiss somebody." answered Shirley worried.
"I don't think Milly could make you kiss anybody if you didn't want to." noted Gino.
"Oh, I'd find my ways." replied Milly.
"Miss Ashford, you realize that could very well be illegal." warned Guilford.
"I'll take my chances." shrugged Milly.
"We've got to hurry!" declared Shirley.
"I'm with you." said Kallen.
"Shirley, why did you have to get caught up in all this?" asked Kallen to herself sadly.
It cut back to the Student Council members as Milly drank a glass of water to relieve her throat.
"Nunnally, is there anything about this cat that's special?" asked Nina.
"It hated Suzaku." answered Rivalz snickering.
"My kind of cat." muttered Chiba.
Milly held up the microphone so everyone could hear.
"Its leg must have been hurt, because its footsteps sounded off to me." answered Nunnally.
Nunnally thought for a moment.
"Oh, I almost forget. it meowed like this." said Nunnally.
Nunnally took a deep breath.
"Meow!" cried Nunnally.
"That was so damn adorable." thought Cornelia, glad nobody could read her thoughts.
The scene cut to Lloyd and Cecile outside as the other students meowed.
"The school seems so laid back, in spite of the fact they're in mourning." noted Cecile.
"That's why I was glad Arthur showed up: things too were too somber. We had to get some life back into Ashford." explained Milly.
"You suppose Suzaku will be okay in there?" asked Cecile concerned.
"Never mind that." answered Lloyd.
"That's kinda harsh." muttered Gino disapprovingly.
"The university here..." began Lloyd.
"Don't worry. I've made arrangements with them." noted Cecile.
"What happened?" asked Rivalz curious.
"They still didn't have to kick poor Lancelot out though." said Lloyd displeased.
"My poor Lancelot was out in the cold!" declared Lloyd, faking sorrow.
"Lloyd, behave yourself." warned Cecile.
"I know. Even if they did say Elevens aren't acceptable." replied Cecile.
"Britannia's racism strikes again." huffed Chiba bitterly.
The scene returned to Ashford where Milly hopped into the sidecar of Rivalz's bike.
"Okay! Let's go!" declared Milly.
"They let you drive those around campus." said Oghi surprised.
"My grandpa is a laidback principal." said Milly.
"What happens if a member of the Studen Council catches the cat? We don't get a prize do we?" asked Rivalz.
A closeup of Milly's lips was shown.
"Oh geez." groaned Rivalz embarrassed.
"Do we get a kiss?" asked Milly.
The Student Council President put her helmet on.
"Of course." answered Milly.
"Is that so." muttered Rivalz.
The current Rivalz was blushing as he watched this.
"Rivalz..." began Milly.
"I can explain!" declared Rivalz frantically.
Milly pulled Rivalz in and gave him a deep kiss.
"There you go." said Milly winking.
"Best day ever." sighed Rivalz happily.
Rivalz sped off with Milly.
"Hey! No speeding on campus!" cried a teacher.
"A little late for that." mused Rakshata.
Arthur ducked under a table as Kallen and Shirley cornered him.
"How did you not the mask?!" asked Tamaki loudly.
"He was under the desk and the shadows hid it." answered Kallen.
"Okay, we do this right and our lips will be safe." stated Kallen.
"Aw, you gave your jacket to Shirley. So much "I hate Britannians" huh." said Milly smiling.
"Shirley was actually nice and I wanted to help her be more modest." replied Kallen blushing.
"It seems you don't hate all Britannians then." mused Gino.
"No, I guess I don't." conceded Kallen.
"Hey, that's a good thing. We shouldn't hate somebody because of their nationality." noted Oghi.
"Yeah, I know." sighed Kallen.
"Since you don't hate all Britannians, what about me?" asked Gino slyly.
"Don't push your luck." huffed Kallen.
"Shirley, you cover the rear." said Kallen.
"So, how does this get screwed up?" asked Cornelia annoyed.
"Wait a sec!" cried Shirley.
"What's the matter?" asked Kallen confused.
"Who do you want to get a kiss from? Is there anyone in particular?" asked Shirley worried.
"And there it is." groaned Cornelia.
"Huh?" asked Kallen confused.
"It wouldn't be Lulu, would it?" asked Shirley.
"Aw, she's jealous. How adorable." said Milly smiling.
"What would make you think that?" aked Kallen surprised.
"You did become one of Zero's Court Ladies." answered Kaguya.
"Court ladies." repeated Rivalz confused.
"It's nothing!" snapped Kallen blushing.
"Oh, how...I guess...it's just." stammered Shirleu, as Arthur slipped away.
"Zero's identity saved by teenage jealous! How quaint!" laughed Lloyd.
"At least they show attraction to the opposite sex unless someone else I know." replied Rakshata smirking.
"Lancelot is all I need!" declared Lloyd proudly.
Arthur ran across a roof and into a classroom as Suzaku arrived. The head of the feline was in the window so Suzaku didn't see the mask.
"Hey, that's..." began Suzaku.
"A few seconds proved vital in protecting Lelouch's secret." mused Xingke.
Suzaku chased Arthur running into someone familiar.
"Suzaku!" exclaimed Lelouch, winded.
"Lelouch!" exclaimed Suzaku in surprise.
"You looking for the cat too." said Suzaku surprised.
The two heard a meow revealing Arthur was atop the bell tower.
"It seems you have cats in the belfry." laughed Lloyd.
"Suzaku wait! Don't go up there!" cried Lelouch.
Suzuku was racing up the stairs with Lelouch desperately trying to follow.
"But the Student Council President said to catch it!" declared Suzaku.
"I wonder if Suzaku would have jumped off a bridge if someone told him too." mused Xianglin.
"Yes." answered half a dozen people at once.
"Don't worry about it! I'll get the cat!" declared Lelouch.
"I was always more agile than you." noted Suzaku.
"I can believe it." teased Milly.
"Remember when that little bird got loose?" asked Suzaku.
"Kaguya, what little bird?" asked Tianzi.
"A baby woodpecker got into the shrine and caused a mess. Suzaku was able to catch and release it." answered Kaguya.
"Were you scared of the bird flying around?" asked Tianzi.
"Not really." answered Kaguya.
"Your uncle had to drag you out of the futon you were hiding under." revealed Tohdoh.
"Quit talking ancient history!" cried Lelouch.
"It was only seven years ago!' laughed Suzaku.
"Oh, for Pete's sake..." panted Lelouch.
"Such banter, you'd never guess they would soon become mortal enemies." noted Lloyd.
"What are you talking about?! They were totally friends!" declared Tamaki.
"Perhaps, but as Zero and White Knight of Britannia, those two did engage each other in battle." explained Lloyd.
"I still say they were working together." huffed Tamaki.
Suzaku continued running up the stairs as Lelouch was struggling.
"He always was an exercise nut." said Lelouch.
"Or you're just really out of shape." mused Rakshata.
Outside, as had gathered as Milly and Rivalz arrived.
"So, someone's got it cornered, huh? Who's the lucky winner?" asked Milly.
Shirley, Kallen, and Nina pushing Nunnally had arrived.
"Up there!" called Shirley.
The scene panned up to show Suzaku.
"Any chance he'll fall?" asked Sugiyama sardonically.
"No such luck I'm afraid." answered Minami flatly.
"Suzaku?" asked Shirley surprised.
"Easy now. You don't have to be scared." said Suzaku.
"This really does remind me of that bird getting loose." mused Kaguya nostalgically.
As Suzaku climbed the roof, Lelouch joined him.
"Suzaku, come back!" cried Lelouch.
"It's alright. Leave this to me." replied Suzaku.
"Here we go, this is when they'll team up!" declared Tamaki.
"You said before and you were wrong." noted Rakshata.
"This time I'm sure of it!" declared Tamaki.
"That's funny. He never went along with the crowd like this." thought Lelouch.
Lelouch slipped and started to fall.
"Lelouch!" cried out Suzaku in horror.
Even though she knew he was alright, Nunnally couldn't help but feel worried for her brother.
Suzaku slide down and saved Lelouch from falling.
"We were so close to getting rid of him right there." sighed Chiba.
"If you had, then he couldn't have formed the Black Knights and Japan would likely still be an Area." noted Jeremiah.
"But think of all the people who would have been saved!" declared Oghi.
"Inoue." said Sugiyama.
"Yoshida." said Minami.
"Yeah! They got killed because the prick ditched ut!" exclaimed Tamaki.
"Urabe, Senba, and Asashina." said Chiba.
"The failure of the Black Rebellion led to the demise of Kyoto as well." noted Tohdoh.
"Shirley." muttered Milly somberly.
"Her dad too." added Rivalz.
"Bismarck, Dorothea, and Monica." said Gino.
"The Glaston Knights." continued Guilford.
"Darlton." said Cornelia flatly.
"Princess Euphemia." murmured Nina.
Cornelia flinched at her sister's name.
"Her and all the people killed in the massacre would be alive if not for him." noted Oghi angrily.
"So, Lelouch cost a lot of people here loved ones. But, he also rallied the Japanese and proved quite the thorn for the empire." mused Lloyd.
"What are you getting at?" asked Chiba annoyed.
"Lelouch did a lot of horrible things, but he also put Japan back on the road to independence." answered Cecile.
"And Xingke, the Eunuchs would have sold out the Empress and your country if not for Lelouch." added Rakshata.
"Indeed. I do own Leouch that at the least." admitted Xingke.
"Then maybe, he's more complex than it appears." stated Nina.
Everyone looked around unsure how to process this.
"Let's continue watching." proposed Nunnally.
"Is it possible? Those two are..." began Nina.
"Working together! Totally!" declared Tamaki.
"She meant friends." noted Anya.
"Or possibly more." said Lloyd cheekily.
Cecile elbowed Lloyd for his comment.
"Only in my dreams." sighed Milly.
As Suzaku pulled him up, Lelouch spotted Arthur rubbing his head against the bell which knocked off the helmet.
"And thus a close call was averted." noted Sayoko.
"Pretty calm for someone on the verge of death." stated Suzaku.
"Yeah right. I was just limp with fear." replied Lelouch.
This got several scoffs from those watching.
"Hey, what's going on?" asked Nunnally confused.
"That transfer student just saved Lelouch from a really close call." answered Milly.
"I guess I treated you a bit more fragile than I should have. You could have handled the truth." said Milly embarrassed.
"It's okay. Besides, you did answer my question honestly." answered Nunnally.
Nunnally looked back to her brother on the screen.
"You'd never lie to me, huh?" asked Nunnally hurt.
Suzaku had left the bell tower and returned to the mob of students.
"Let's see how this goes." muttered Lloyd amused.
Shirley looked around and ran up to Suzaku.
"You saved him. Thank you so much, Suzaku." said Shirley happily.
Ceceile couldn't help but smile.
"I'm so glad he made friends." thought Cecile.
"As I said, Shirley didn't have an unkind bone in her body." stated Milly warmly.
Rivalz came up to join them.
"Yeah. Way to go there new guy." said Rivalz.
"See, we became buds with Suzaku. Better late than never." shrugged Rivalz.
Milly approached.
"That cat was carrying something, wasn't it?" asked Milly.
"Yeah, there was something on its head. but I never got a good look at it. Guess it slipped off when I wasn't looking." explained Suzaku.
"Aside from being intelligent, it seems Lelouch was quite lucky as well." mused Rakshata.
"Isn't it odd for a scientist to believe is luck?" asked Xianglin.
"Perhaps." answered Rakshata nonchalantly.
"So, where is Lulu?" asked Shirley concerned.
"Lelouch must have been dense as a brick not to notice Shirley liked him." chuckled Gino.
"The opposite sex was an enigma to him." sighed Milly.
"he said he forgot something. Told me to go ahead." answered Suzaku.
"How exactly did Lelouch retrieve his helmet?" asked Xingke aloud.
"There's a window by the vein where it landed." answered Rivalz.
"That's it! The embarrassing secret he was hiding!" declared Milly.
"So, that's it, Madame President?" asked Lelouch, as the arrived.
"Aw, after all this time, I thought had some dirt on you." groaned Milly.
"That's someway to treat a friend." murmured Chiba.
"Hey, I was having fun with him." replied Milly.
Milly looked at Nunnally.
"Besides, there are some secrets I'd never give away." added Milly winking.
"Yeah. He almost lost his cool for once." added Shirley.
"Say, what would you have done had you got the mask?" asked Gino curious.
"I'd have been terrified." answered Nina.
"I probably would have it was a joke or something." admitted Rivalz.
"I...don't know to be honest." confessed Milly.
"And turning it into the authorities was never an option." said Cornelia angered.
"It's...complicated." answered Mily wearily.
"So, ah...do you two know each other then?" asked Kallen.
"Let's see how he gets out of this." said Oghi.
"I bet he used his Geass on them!" declared Tamaki.
"Yeah but, he's an Eleven." noted Nina worried.
Nina again felt daggers being stared at her.
"Ignore them. That's not who you are anymore." thought Nina.
"No. I just..." began Suzaku.
"He is my friend." answered Lelouch.
"He actually stood up for the guy." said Gino surprised and impressed.
"Of course! They're working together!" snapped Tamaki.
"The rules are clear. All students are required to join a club." noted Lelouch.
"This way they could plan their takeover of the world together!" exclaimed Tamaki.
"I hate to say this, but he might be right." replied Chiba.
"Thanks!" cried Tamaki.
It took a moment for Tamaki to register what she said.
"Hey!" cried Tamaki offended.
"Although..." began Lelouch.
The scene panned to Milly who was in thought.
"You are the Vice President. I suppose I can't refuse." stated Milly.
"If he wasn't the Vice President?" asked Anya curious.
"I would have said. I know grandpa would have been fine with Suzaku on the Student Council." answered Milly.
"I doubt that." muttered Chiba.
"The Ashford family of supporting reformist movements in Britannia." replied Milly proudly.
"Well, then, I'd say that's the end of that. Now, come here you two. Lend me an ear." said Nunnally.
The two shared a confused glance before doing as requested. Once they did, Nunnally kissed Suzaku on the cheek.
"Gyp!" cried Tamaki.
Nunnally then kissed Lelouch on the cheek.
"Double gyp!" exclaimed Tamaki.
"Nunnally." said Suzaku confused.
"There you go, the reward Miss Milly promised. Since you both caught the cat you'll have to settle for me, almost a real council member." explained Nunnally.
"Man, I don't even like the guy, but they got ripped off." stated Tamaki.
"They got a kiss as promised noted Oghi confused.
"Yeah, a lame ass peck on the cheek. If that were me, I'd be getting a real kiss!" declared Tamaki.
"That's his sister." said Kallen disgusted.
"It could be from anyone! I'm not saying he's a sis-con!" cried Tamaki.
"Alright then, let's celebrate the catching of the cat! Everything's on the new guy, naturally." declared Rivalz.
"Mean." stated Anya.
"I was just kidding around." stated Rivalz.
Any gave a blank expression clearly not understanding.
"Never mind." said Rivalz sheepishly.
"Oh, back off!" declared Shirley.
"Remind you of anyone?" asked Cecile.
"Quite so." answered Lloyd flatly.
"Hi, there! I'm Shirley, Please to meet ya!" declared the redhead.
"Oh, right. I'm Rivalz." said the boy.
"Milly Ashford. Student Council President." said the blonde.
"The pleasure is mine." said Suzaku happily.
"I'll never forget that day." said Suzaku nostalgically under his mask.
The scene showed a horrified Nina. Nina again felt the Japanese present staring daggers at her and again decided to ignore it. The scene then cut to later where the students were assembled in the gym to watch the funeral of Prince Clovis. A large portrait of Clovs hung on the wall.
Murderous prick!' cried Tamaki.
The scene showed the members of the Imperial family seated in mourning.
"I am sorry you were unable to attend, Princess." whispered Guilford.
"While I did love my brother, we were never extremely close." replied Cornelia.
Cornelia thought back to Shinjuku.
"Besides, he disgraced himself." added Cornelia.
Among the faces shown was Odysseus.
"Odysseus, you I do feel sorry for. You were never made for the cutthroat world of the Imperial family." sighed Cornelia.
Tianzi squirmed a bit seeing her former finance.
"Don't worry Empress, you won't have to marry him." whispered Kaguya.
Tianzi seemed to be calmed by this.
"It is difficult to get married when you've been erased from existence by a superweapon." thought Kaguya flatly.
"And now, his Royal Majesty, the 98th Emperor of the Holy Britannian Empire." announced an M.C.
As Charles appeared, he was met with many scornful looks from those watching.
"Boo! You suck!" called Tamaki.
"He can't hear you." noted Kalenn embarrassed.
As Lelouch had a similar reaction, Charles began to speak
"All men are not created equal." began Charles.
This led to an angry reaction from many of those watching.
"Some are born swifter of foot, some with greater beauty." continued Charles.
"You know, he does have apoint." noted Lloyd.
"What did you say?!" asked Tamaki outraged.
"Suzkau was clearly more physically fit than Lelouch while Lelouch was clearly more intelligent than Suzaku." began Lloyd.
"I'll say." muttered Kallen.
"So that gives someone the right to discriminate?!" asked Chiba angrily.
"I never said that." noted Lloyd.
"Some are born into poverty, some are born sick and feeble." said Charles.
"Or they become handicapped so you toss them aside." thought Nunnally bitterly.
"Both in birthplace and upbringing, in sheer scope of ability every human is inherently different." stated Charles.
"Again, he's not wrong." said Lloyd.
"Why you..." began Tamaki.
"Everyone person has their own unique strengths that make them stand out. I'd say that god, it would be too boring if everyone was the same." explained Lloyd.
"Yes, that is why people discriminate against one another." said Charles.
The scene showed Shirley looking upset.
"Shirley was never one for discrimination." noted Milly.
"It seems like she was a good person.." said Oghi.
"She really was." confirmed Milly smiling.
"That is why there is struggle..." continued Charles.
The scene showed Milly looking on stoically.
"As I once told Lelouch, it's easy to talk about survival of the fittest until you're the one no longer deemed fit." stated Milly flatly.
"Competition..." continued Charles
The scene showed a disgusted Kallen
"I hated the man." said Kallen bitterly.
"And the unfaltering march of progress." said Charles.
The scene showed Nina watching on.
Nina could only remember back to the F.L.E.I.J.A. destroying Tokyo.
The scene showed a production truck where Diethard was.
"Inequality is not wrong. Equality is" said Charles.
"Shut up!" spat Tamaki.
The scene showed Diethard looking at videos of Zero on a computer.
He really likes Zero." mused Gino.
"You don't know the half of it." muttered Oghi.
"What of the EU which made equality a right?" asked Charles.
Jeremiah and Villetta were shown with both glad they had moved away from supporting this bigoted ideology.
"Rabble politics by a popularity contest." said Charles.
"He does have a point again." said Lloyd.
"Again?!" asked Tamaki angrily.
"Democracy is not a perfect system. This has been pointed out by Plato to Jean-Jacques Rosseau in the eighteenth century. Instability, corruption, the tyranny of the majority, and demagoguery are real downsides to a democratic system." explained Lloyd.
"The government of the EU was rife with corruption and bureaucratic red tape." admitted Xianglin.
"I have confidence President Walpole will fix this." stated Kaguya.
"So then, if democracy has some many downsides, what's your solution?" asked Chiba.
"There is no perfect system of government. Every form has its strengths and weaknesses." answered Lloyd.
"The Chinese Federation with its redistribution of wealth." said Charles.
The scene showed Oghi looking angrily at a screen angrily.
"A nation of lazy dullards." stated Charles.
"The redistribution of wealth did only serve the Eunuchs." noted Rakshata.
"Now we are correcting that." replied Xingke.
The scene then showed Lloyd and Cecile along with other workers.
"But, not our beloved Britannia. We fight. We compete. Evolution is continous." stated Charles.
"Evolution, such a pretty little word." mused Lloyd.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Rivalz.
"A word used to describe the growth of gradual change of species being used to support invasion and slaughter. Not exactly the purpose Darwin intended." answered Lloyd.
The scene cut back to Charles.
"Britannia alone moves forward, advancing steadily into the future."
The scene showed a stoic Cornelia and sorrowful Euphemia.
"I can't count how many family members I lost during all of this." said Cornelia sadly.
"We will fight. We shall struggle, compete, plunder, and dominate. And in the end, the future shall be ours! All hail Britannia!" declared Charles.
"What an asshole." spat Tamaki.
As the audience joined in chanting, the scene cut to C.C. in Lelouch's room. She had on his bed watching the speech on a laptop and holding Zero's helmet.
"So, this is Lelouch's enemy. Well..." mused the immortal.
"She should know since she was part of his plan at this time." thought Suzaku.
"That was more light heated than most." noted Kaguya.
"Nobody died this time." added Anya.
"An we didn't see Lelouch and Suzaku ally." mused Lloyd.
"Sure they did!" declared Tamaki.
"Despite you saying they would become allies many times, we never saw this happen." explained Rakshata.
"They probably didn't show it." huffed Tamaki.
"Why wouldn't they show it?" asked Gino.
"So nobody would know." answered China bluntly.
"Trust me, I doubt that." replied Kallen.
"I propose we keep going." said Nunnally.
A/N: That's where we'll end this chapter. Sorry, it took longer than I planned, but I got COVID at New Year's so that hindered things, but I'm fine now. Yes, I did put two Code Ment references and a reference to The Sopranos in the same chapter. Asahina possible being gay comes from Turn 12.59 which is the pajama party one. C.C. says his tastes are different and she seems to be implying he is gay before Chiba cuts her off. I could be wrong.
Milly being bisexual is a headcanon of mine, but I think there's enough evidence. Also, I can totally see Milly being a yaoi fangirl. Milly's telling Lelouch "it's easy to talk about survival of the fittest until you're no longer seen as fit" is a reference to my story I'll be there which is almost ten years old.
This episode didn't give me a lot to work with so I had to work with what I had. What is the deal with Nina? Where was Sayoko? What was up with Gino? All of these will be answered. Thanks to a schedule change, I'm working on the next chapter now. Next time, the events of "Attack Cornelia" will be covered. Please review.
