A/N: Hey guys! Back with something still abstract but definitely a semantic of love. Hope you like it!
Loveā¦
The pursuit of love, as they say, is worth it. Be emboldened because it's worth the chance, worth the hope.
Reach for the love you want, don't hold back from allowing yourself to experience it. Be brave, jump into that ocean that scares you because the other side is paradise.
-.-
He steps back into her life as if he never left. As if he just hopped up on the ledge next to her path for six months and then jumped back down to fall in pace beside her again.
The arrival is as sudden as his departure was and it makes her stumble. Because all of a sudden, it's all smiles and charm, apologies flowing from his lips like wine, wrapping around her in a haze.
He's finally figured out what he lost six months ago, finally figured out her worth.
Just like how she knew he would all along.
And now he's back.
-.-
Take care of yourself. Be emboldened to say no to the things that hurt, it's worth it to focus on yourself, worth it to care for you.
Strive for the better you want, don't hold onto the things that aren't right for your life. Be brave, jump into that ocean because you will come out the other side stronger than ever before.
-.-
Her path splits now that he's standing in front of her again, looking at her like she's everything.
One urges her to take the chance. Love is worth it, it says with a wide grin, the promise of paradise in its wake.
The other urges her to let go. Saying no is worth it, it says with a slow smile, the promise of safety in its embrace.
He grabs her hands and tells her that he misses her, that he should have never left. And she stares at the paths that directly contradict.
Should she reach for the love and hold on to the hope that his smile promises? Simply because it's worth the shot, the happiness that might come?
Or should she let go for the fear of hurting once again, and walk away from something that might not be right? Simply because she should put herself before someone?
A choice.
Just a choice, and the fear of the regret that comes with making the wrong one.
Because if the path of love leaves her stranded, she'll wish for the other. And the what could have been will haunt her is she takes the safer option.
There's no right answer.
Just two different schools of thought that sometimes conflict in what we call life.
Her feet hit the edge of the road,
it's time to choose.
A/N: Just wanted to highlight how often the things you hear about love are contradictory and confusing and you don't always know which one is better or right. Love is complicated and messy and I have two and a half series about trying to describe it and I'll never get it all.
But I wanted to write this. There is no answer, what path she takes at the end of this is up to you. Because just like in life, I don't know which one is better.
Please Review! I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!
And as always, thanks for reading!
See ya! :)
