Chapter 29 Rescue Mission

Reiji was outside thinking about what happened, Layla told them about a evil being, he sounds like he's stronger than the Trix but could be be stronger than Another Zi-O or not, Another Zi-O didn't attack him but his gut tells him that he's stronger than the original Another Zi-O.

He then looks up and he sees Piff flying around."Piff?"he saw her with her eyes closed."Is she sleepwalking or should I say Sleepflying."

"Piff!"he looks to see Layla in her sleep wear surprising him.

He then sees Piff about to fall making Layla say:"No!"

Reiji then jumps up and catches her."Got her."he then lands on the ground holding Piff.

Layla runs up to him and takes Piff."Oh Piff."

"She's fine."Reiji said.

She looks at him and smiles."Thanks Reiji."

"Hey it's what I do."Reiji smiled.

She smiles looking at him and they heard."Daddy."they looked up to see Illya at the window."Can we go play?"

"Oh sure, just wait with Mirta and I'll be there."Reiji said and she nodded.

"Illya is so cute."one of the girls nearby said.

"It's weird that your a dad while being so young."Layla said.

"Oh well Illya is not really my daughter, she was brought to me by Mirai."Reiji said.

"Who?"she asked.

"Me."he then appears surprising her."I am Mirai, the loyal servant of my lord."he then bows.

"Oh yeah I remember you, you appeared when Reiji used that armor."Layla said.

"Yeah, he brought Illya after... Well, a very terrible part of her life."Reiji said making her shocked.

"Oh no."she puts a hand on her mouth.

"It's alright, me and the girls have been taking care of her and she's been really happy."Reiji said making her smile.

"Reiji."they saw Faragonda coming up to them."I would like to speak with Layla."they nodded so Layla went with her while Reiji went to see Illya.

Later he was called along with the Winx to a classroom by Faragonda.

"Everyone, as you may have guessed, the reason I've asked you to come here is to organize a rescue mission. As you know, fairies and pixies have always been the closest of friends. So we must free them at any cost."Faragonda said.

"At any cost, huh? Does that mean we get to skip classes and still get full credits?"Stella said.

"Stella."Reiji glares at her.

"After everything Layla's gone through, can't you think of something other than skipping classes?"Faragonda said.

"Well, actually, it's just that if it's such a dangerous mission why not send the professors?"Stella asked.

"Hey!"The Winx and Reiji said.

"What?"She said.

"No, no, that's all right. Stella has raised a very good point. As professors, our job is to guide our students. And in case of an emergency, we have to be available to help everyone."Faragonda said.

"So in other words, it's up to us to turn this "prince" into a pauper?"Musa said.

"You've all shown great skill in the fight against the Trix. However, the pixies are your priority now. It is not wise to challenge an unknown enemy."Faragonda said.

"So we should avoid direct confrontation?"Bloom said.

"Exactly. Don't forget, this dark knight absorbs magic energy."Faragonda said.

"That means he can turn our powers against us."Flora said.

"Layla will be your guide. She's the only one who can find the entrance to the cave. I want you to look for clues that could help us discover the identity of this evil creature. Now, follow me."They went to the hallway.

"Now, I'd like to point out that some of you will not be taking part in this rescue mission."Faragonda said.

"But we do everything together."Bloom said.

"We are stronger as a team."Reiji said.

"Yes! And no one gets left behind ever!"Flora said.

"Each of you has powers better suited to some missions than others. Would you send a frog to live in a hot, dry desert?"Faragonda said.

"I wouldn't want to be the poor frog. I'd dry out in about 1.4 hours."Tecna said.

"You don't have to worry about that, Tecna. You'll stay at Alfea."Faragonda said.

"But her Tecno-magic..."Reiji tried to say.

"Will help us monitor the situation from here. Bloom, Reiji and Stella will go on the mission."Faragonda said.

"But why only us three?"Bloom asked.

"Yes, I thought Mirta would would be coming too."Reiji said.

"Because Bloom possesses the Dragon's Fire, the strongest magic of all, while Stella's Sun magic will be very helpful should they ever come up against the Shadow Monsters and Reiji armors will be able to help you in case you have to face that monster plus I'm certain Mirai would come with you as well so it's best for Mirta to stay until you need help since Illya needs her."Faragonda said.

"What about Flora's plants? My sound waves? Aren't they worth anything?"Musa said.

"Come into the hall, please."Faragonda said.

At the main hall.

They arrived and Faragonda said:"Wait here, girls."Then she goes foward.

"What is she doing?"Flora asked and she does a spell.

"Nimbus fallax orere et cinge fatas!"she did the spell chaning the Hall into a cave.

"Musa, Flora, use your spells."she told them.

"Ready!"Flora then tries to use her magic."Nothing is working. There are no living plants down here."

"But we still got sound. Everyone stand back!"Musa then sends a sound blast to a wall."Oh, no! It's echoing!"then the place starts to shake.

"Oh, no. The vibrations are causing a cave-in!"Tecna said and the ceiling rocks start to fall.

"No!"Musa tries to protect herself until Reiji slices it with his sword that he got from his ancestor cutting the stones in pieces.

Then the cave turned back into the main hall.

"Is the cave really like that?"Stella asked.

"Wow. That was even better than the computer-controlled simulator."Tecna said.

Musa cries until Reiji holds her.

"Musa, listen to me. You're just as important as your friends. Your powers will be needed soon enough."Faragonda said.

"Say Reiji where did you get the sword?"Bloom asked.

"This sword belonged to my Ancestor Nobunaga Oda, it's the last piece of him that I know have."Reiji said.

"Oh I see, a family heirloom."Flora said.

"Yeah."Reiji smiled.

Outside Layla was holding Piff who was now crying.

"Come on, it's okay. I'll be back soon. There you go. Now that's better. You'll see, Piff. When I come back, I'll have all the pixies with me"Layla said.

"I'll care of her."Illya goes up to her with her arms up.

"You see."Layla hands Piff to Illya."You have a new friend.

Illya smiles at Piff making her not as sad.

Faragonda goes up to Layla and gives her special seeds."Layla, take these special seeds of light with you."

"Do they have magic powers?"Layla asked.

"Yes. In an emergency, they will drive away any kind of Shadow Creatures, but only once. Well, girls, are you all ready for your mission?"Faragonda said.

"With only three fairies and Reiji, I don't think it will be sufficient."Tecna said.

"Hey!"Reiji felt offended.

"A small group can move quickly and is much less noticeable."Faragonda said.

Then Saladin came."And besides, they're not going alone."

Then the specialist airship came and it opened to reveal the guys.

"Hey!"Sky waves at them and Reiji waves back.

"So the Specialists."Reiji said.

"I'm very happy that you've come to help, Saladin."Faragonda said.

"It's my pleasure to answer your call, Faragonda. I will lend you two of my best Red Fountain Specialists, Sky and Brandon."Saladin said.

"Well let's go."Reiji said.

They went on the ship while Timmy drives it.

"So who's the bad guy this time?"Brandon asked.

"We know is like a dark pheonix so we have to be careful."Reiji said.

"Yeah but the Specialists can tackle absolutely anything. You should see all the cool stuff we got for this mission. Rope, grapplers, techno-magic gear, and this."Brandon said.

"Guys."Layla said.

"Yes Layla."Reiji said.

"The enemy's the other way!"Layla said.

"Timmy!"Reiji got angry.

"Yeah, well, we'll do that."Timmy said.

"Oh then I'll tell Angel."Reiji said.

"Not that."Timmy got scared.

They traveled for a bit and they arrived at the place.

"There's the valley. And that river is the one I used to escape from the cave."Layla pointed there.

"This is where I should drop you off then?"Timmy asked.

"No, it's easier to get inside through the old mines in the cave."Layla said.

"Then let's go."Sky said.

They went to a entrance of a cave and Timmy asked:"Uh, is this the spot?"

"Yeah! That's where the tar monsters went after kidnapping the pixies in the forest."Layla said.

"There's no place to land. You'll have to jump out while we're airborne, guys."Timmy said.

"Fine by me."Reiji said and he takes out his Ziku Driver and Geiz watch.

ZIKU DRIVER!

Then he rotates the watch while pressing the button.

GEIZ!

He then inserts it and said:"henshin."he rotated the driver.

RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER GEIZ!

He transforms into Kamen Rider Geiz and Layla got surprised."Wait that's not the armor you used before."

"Reiji here has many of those that he can change into."Riven said.

"Say what happened to those Time Mazines Mirai gave you?"Geiz asked.

"Oh they're in Red Fountain with a few upgrades."Timmy said.

Then they opened the door letting Sky and Geiz go down with a rope.

"Come on! Everybody out!"Sky said.

Stella then dropped something."Oh no."she then almost fell while holding he rope.

Geiz caught it and said:"hey is this your make up kit?"

"Yes!"she said.

"How did you know?"Sky asked.

"I gave it to her as a gift."Geiz said."Okay Stella slide down slowly, if you fall I'll catch you."

"You better Reiji."She then slowly goes down and he puts her to the floor.

They were all on the floor and Riven said:"Good luck guys."then the shop flies away.

"Follow me. This is the way in."Layla said and they went inside the cave.

Sky uses a flash light and it has a small light.

"Really."Geiz said.

"Sky! I know you want to save batteries, but give us some light back here. We can't see a thing."Stella then falls to the ground."That's it! I've had it. I'll deal with it myself!"she then transforms into her fairy form."Scepter give us light!"she used her scepter to shine the cave.

"Uh, well, I think I liked it better before"Bloom said.

"Still good job Stella."Geiz said.

"Thank you, do I get a kiss?"she then leans towards him.

"Later."Geiz said making Bloom grunt.

"But now, we're a beacon for the monsters"Sky said.

They heard a roar and Stella said:"Uh, guys, I don't know what that is, but let's... get moving."

They then ran foward inside the cave, then they arrived at a metal door.

"I remember this gate. But it was open before."Layla said.

"It's locked."Sky said.

"Leave it to me."Stella then flies towards it and shoots a blast at it but the seal absorbed it.

"No good. The gate absorbs magic. Our enemy thought of everything."Bloom said.

"Except me."Geiz said and he summons his weapon.

ZIKAN ZAX! OH! NO!

Then monsters start to come.

"Uh Reiji."Bloom said.

"I got it."Geiz then activates the special attack.

Layla and Bloom then transforms giving Geiz time to do his finisher.

TIME CHARGE: 5...4...3...2...1...ZERO TIME!

He then brings it down with a energy slash coming out of it.

ZAKKURI WARI!

He then slashes at the door making lock be destroyed, it opens and they went in while the monsters came close, Brandon and Sky push the door to close it on they're faces.

"They're still trying to get through! Stand back!"Layla then shoots pink goo at the door closing it.

"What are you doing?"Sky asked.

"It's magic glue. Brandon, watch out!"Layla then shoots more clsoing it but she then falls to her knees tired so she transforms back.

"Good job, Layla."Geiz offers her a hand and she takes it."It's good to have you on our team"

"Thanks."she smiled.

"All right. Let's go. That won't hold them back forever."Bloom said and they start moving.

"See? Forget about the clunky flashlights. My scepter's the only way to light up a room."Stella said.

"Yeah but a good flashlight saved me more than once. Layla, you sure this is the right way?"Brandon asked.

"I don't get it. We should've reached the crystals by now."Layla said.

"Crystals?"Geiz said.

"Reiji."He heard Bloom and he looks back to see her."Wait, Reiji. Help me."She then falls to her knees transforming back.

"Bloom!"He goes to her side.

Stella then felt weak too making Geiz said:"What's going on?"

"I can't stand up."Bloom said and Geiz helped her up.

Brandon helped Stella and Geiz said:"does this place have some kind of negative effects?"

"You transformed an hour ago. You've been in fairy mode too long. I guess this doesn't just happen to the fairies from Andros."Layla said.

"And our powers?"Bloom asked.

"You'll be fine. Just lay off the magic for a while. Now let's keep moving. We have to find the pixies."Layla said and they kept going.

They then saw many crystal making Layla happy."At last! The crystals! Yes! It's not far now. Come on, let's go! It's at the end of one of these tunnels. Let's go down this one first."she then goes foward.

"Layla, wait for us. Where are you going?"Bloom said.

"After her."Geiz said so they ran towards where she went while Sky and Brandon went different parts.

Layla arrives at the other side of an edge."Wow! It goes on forever."

"Finally! We made it!"Bloom said while she, Stella and Geiz were with her.

"We've got to get down to that level."Layla points down and they saw Brandon at the other level bellow.

"Hey! All these tunnels are connected! No matter which one we take, we end up out here."Brandon said.

"Hey Brandon we can't just be seperated, your going to put yourself in danger."Geiz said.

Then monsters appeared at Brandon's side.

"Oh no!"Geiz said.

Layla goes to help in her fairy form."Brandon, watch out!"she shoots one but it sends a web at her."Help, I'm stuck!"

"I'll go."Geiz said and he jumps down to slash back at the monsters, one then shoots a blast at the other plat form making the girls shake but Stella's side breaks making her fall.

"Stella!"Bloom said trying to catch her but she fails.

"Stella!"Geiz was shocked.

Then the plat form he was on breaks too making Bradon push him inside where Layla was.

"NO!"Geiz goes to the edge and he sees Stella fall down with Brandon, his hand was shaking."Stella!"he then punches the ground."it's should have been me, it should have been me!"Bloom and Layla were sad for what happened to him.

Then a watch that he has starts to glow and it changes.

REVIVE!

The cloaked figure saw him from a different cave and said:"he's getting too strong, I'll need to finish him off sooner than I expected."

Note: Geiz form came back but Stella still fell down with Brandon with a different reason, but seeing that scene unlocked a form that he will use later.
