Chapter 45 Old Friend

Reiji was inside of his room and he was lying down on his bed as he thinks about his previous life back in the other world.

He heard a knock on the door and he looks to see Mirta come in. "Oh hello Mirta."

"I came to see how you were doing." She said.

"I'm fine, just thinking about... You know my old life." He said.

"Oh I see. You miss someone?" She asked.

Reiji looks up. "A little, I actually had a friend back in Japan and we got along just fine."

"What was his name?" She asked.

"Kurata Tsubasa. He was..." He tries to think of a way to explain a otaku. "A fanboy for machines."

"Oh, I see." Mirta got curious. "So where is he?"

Reiji sighs. "He got hit by a van."

Mirta gasped covering her mouth. "I'm so sorry."

"It's alright, you didn't know. It was a dark time for me but hey at least I was able to make a friend at that time that didn't see me for who my family was." Reiji said.

"At least he would also be glad to have met you." Mirta smiles at him.

"Yeah." Reiji smiles. "He was a great guy, a programmer even before and he was did his job, I just hoped one day he would have found his calling. But that's not going to happen now, but at least we were real friends."

Watching them was Mirai looking through a window as he stands on top of a roof.

He then takes out his book and writes the name of Reiji's friend.

Mirai saw the pages move making new words appear. "Hmmmm, it seems my lord's friend has been reincarnated."

He saw that who was once Tsubasa has been reincarnated into a new world with his memories intact and is now much younger, working with mechs.

"If my lord can see his former friend in the future it would help him as well." Mirai said.

He goes away and walks around the outside of the school going deeper into the woods.

Reiji was still talking to Mirta as he remembers the times he hanged out with Tsubasa, they were friends that went to a lot of conventions as a couple of otakus for they're favorite shows, Tsubasa also liked Kamen Rider since they had robots too.

Decode watches Reiji and said: "He must really missed him."

"Decode!" He got scared and flies away as the pixies chased after him.

"Why does this always happen to me!" He said.

The Pixies always like to catch him and try to show they're love to him, which always makes him scared since unlike Reiji, Decode is super nervous.

Reiji saw that from the window and said: "Well there he goes again."

Mirta chuckles. "It seems they will always go after Decode."

"Well seeing he's the closest guy that's also close to a pixie of course they would go after him. But it also made the girls think more we are always meant to be together since they're pixies like Decode." He said.

Reiji looks at the stones for his Blue Eyes White Dragons, he wonders if theres another and if so... He gotta find it before Scorn and Another Zi-O do, that would make it harder for them in the future.

Reiji looks up to the sky and wonders what his future has in store for him.

At another world

A young man was lying down on a field of grass, he has white hair and silver eyes, he was looking at the sky.

He then felt someone thinking about him and looks around.

"What was that?" He said.

"It was like someone was thinking about me."

He then thinks about the previous world he was in, he had coworkers and a guy that he was friends with.

"I wonder what Reiji is doing, maybe he'll appear, but that's kinda impossible." He chuckles.

He remembers the times they spent together and the stuff they liked in anime and shows, Reiji was a super mega fan of Kamen Rider.

"Still that was a good show, the robots they have are the most creative anyone can make when the Heisei era appeared, Showa was still the most old school you can get. But still a show about rubber suit monsters can only do so much."

"For a show that has run for so many years being able to do that is impressive."

He kept thinking about Reiji and wonders what he's doing at this day, he's one of the friends je had and someone he helped being happy after being treated like some artifact just because of his bloodline.

Note: Yes it short but I wanted to add a bit more about Reiji's past and to set up a future arc later on, where Reiji would ser a old friend and for guest review no spoilers.
