Chapter 8 – Taking You're relationship to the next level.

Chichi was working in the kitchen of her café and was coming to the end of the day, and Cain was gonna be along to pick her up soon. He said he would cook for her tonight and she was looking forward to it. A nice quiet night in just the two of them. Despite her excitement. She couldn't stop thinking about Vegito, no one had seen him since the party and Bulma was going frantic, a part of her had hoped he'd show up at the house or in the café but no luck. It had been well over 2 weeks since the incident and the Boys were getting worried too. They insisted they would go out and find him but both Bulma and Chichi instructed to keep their distance, let him come back in his own time, god knows what sort of mood he is in. But she didn't wanna think about that, right now she only cared about Cain.

So much time had gone by between them and she felt happy. Every time she looked at Cain she felt those little flutters like butterflies in her stomach. And the blush form on her face every time he smiled at her. And the way his body looked made her…ahem! Not that it was important. Or at least, not right now, she had wondered if she was ready to talk about the next part of their relationship…sex. It was a big deal and chichi wasn't entirely sure if she was ready to do it with someone new. She had only even been with one man. It was all so complicated, though it shouldn't be.

Finally, the end of the day arrived and right on Time, Cain picked her up and brought her back to his. He made her a delicious homemade lasagne with a salad and plenty of wine to wash it down. For dessert they then had a couple of slices of cheesecake and by then they were stuffed. They spent the evening chatting a drinking wine as the night progressed, it was close to 10pm and Cain was laughing at the story chichi had just told him about Her training times with her dad.

'I still can't get over you used to be a martial artist'

'Well I wanted to be stronger and get to spend time with dad, then the tournament showed up and I figured I try, I was the only female to get as far without having to flirt with anyone' she giggled

'So you are the strongest woman on the planet'

'Well I'm not sure anymore, I think 18 might have something to say about that'

'Well okay true, but 18 is an android, you're a full bodied human, so you ought to be the strongest there is'

'I suppose, you can never be too sure. But I do know I'm strong'

'You know I bet if we sparred right now, I could take you down easy' he smirked as she laughed

'Awww that's sweet, you think you actually stand a chance against me' She grinned

'You don't think I could take you on?'

'Well honey, I have trained my whole life, you probably know how to throw a punch or two but you'd be going up against a professional fighter, I'm sorry I don't see you winning that' She smirked as he got up and made some space in his living room. 'What are you doing?' she asked

'Okay, come on try me, Let's go' he said putting up his fists as chichi laughed

'No no way'

'What's the matter? You scared?' he smirked

'Of you? Please I've seen more threatening puppies'

'Well then, test me. Come on let's go!' he grinned as she shrugged and took off her shoes

'Okay, if you're sure' she smirked getting into a defence position.

'Okay and….Hyaa!' He went to punch but she quickly grabbed his fist flipped him over and made him land on his back as she straddled he torso holding him down

'Ha I win, women are superior' she smirked as she realised the position she was in and blushed

'Well if helps, I am not complaining' he smirked and moved his head up to kiss her, Chichi wrapped her arms around him and kissed back as their kiss deepened, Cain managed to roll them over so he was on top of her and started kissing he more passionately and lovingly and his hands cupping her face, he then moved to kiss her neck, receiving a light moan off of her and she kept her eyes closed enjoying the feeling of his touch. His hands then went under her shirt as her eyes popped open and she sat up quickly catching her breath.

'Oh god…..' she gasped

'I…I'm sorry that was my fault'

'No no its okay…..'

'No no I didn't ask…'

'Cain Its fine, it just was a shock' she said as they both caught their breath. Till Cain broke the silence.

'Chichi… I know you wanna wait and I totally respect that in you. Its your choice entirely.' He said softly as she smiled

'Well…. Are you ready?' she asked as he frowned

'It doesn't matter about what I want'

'Of course it does… what you want is just as important' she said as he sighed

'Honestly…. I think I am, you know, I've Gotten to know you so well, And these past few months have been amazing, I think your kids are great, I think you are incredible, you make me believe In myself and I can see us being happy in the long run. And I care about you enough to wait until you feel the same about me and are ready for me because I'll tell you something, I think it'll be amazing' he smiled as she sighed happily kissing his lips.

'How did I find you?' she whispered

'How bout I pour us a glass of wine, and I'll stick on a movie?' he asked as she nodded

'That sound great' she smiled as he went to do that, chichi couldn't help but keep asking herself, was she ready?

The Next day, she went to the café and had told 18 and Launch about the night before, and whether she was ready to take their relationship to the next level. 18 and Launch looked at the other and knew they needed to help.

'Okay so let's back it up a little and ask the important questions, chichi do you feel ready for this?' Launch asked

'i… I don't know, I think so, but then everything else floods in my brain'

'Everything or one thing?' 18 asked as chi sighed

'I really like Cain, I want to see where we can go from here but I'm being held back, because once I do I can never take it back you know?'

'Okay I know! We'll do a pros and cons list' Launch said grabbing some paper and pen 'So chichi what are his pros….?' Launch asked as Chichi thought

'Ummmm…. Okay well… he's very kind, that whole thing he did with my window was so sweet' she said as Launch wrote it down

'What else?' 18 asked

'Well he's very caring, like he always takes care of me when we go out'

'Caring….' Launch wrote down

'And he's a good dad to his girls, they think the world of him' chichi smiled and wrote it down

'And he is sexy….' 18 grinned as Chichi blushed

'18!'

'What its true!' she laughed as Launch wrote it down

'He always makes me feel safe and contempt, as if I'm always enough for him' she smiled

'Anything else?' 18 asked

'Well… he does make me laugh, I mean so many burst out loud laughs, I haven't laughed as hard with anyone since Goku died' she said

'Funny….' Launch scribbled down

'Okay then let's get to cons….. what is wrong with him that might make you not want to be with him sexually?' 18 asked as Chichi sighed

'He's not Goku' she answered as 18 and Launch looked at her sympathetically

'Anything else?' Launch asked

'Well… I guess we both have limited experience, I mean I've only ever been with one man and he's only ever been with his ex wife' she answered

Sure…' 18 nodded

'And I feel that if we did do it, I have betrayed Goku. I feel as if he would never forgive me, deep down, even if I was with Vegito I don't think he could forgive me' chichi whimpered

'Can we put Vegito down on the list too?' Launch asked as Chichi looked up

'What? He doesn't matter!'

'Well obviously he does otherwise this wouldn't be happening, you care about his opinion' 18 answered

'Why would I care about that?'

'Because a part of him is Goku, and he can sense you. And he's having this affect on you, despite Goku's transformation. You both still bonded to one another' Launch answered as Chichi thought about it and maybe they were right.

'But say that's true, what can I do about it? I can't go and talk to him about it' she said

'No but maybe you can speak to the only other person who might understand' 18 instructed as Chichi gasped. Was she really gonna talk to Bulma about it?

'I guess you're right' she sighed. She decided she's go see her after work.

Chichi headed to capsule corp and knocked on the door as Trunks came to answer

'Hello Trunks, Is your mother home?' she asked

'Yeah come on in, sorry I thought you might be dad' he said. So he hadn't come home yet, that was good for now.

'Oh honey I'm sure he's really sorry about what happened at your party and he'll make it up to you when he gets back' she smiled softly as he nodded

'Who is it Trunks?' a voice called from upstairs as Bulma walked down 'Oh hey Chichi' she greeted

'Hey ummmmm….. can I talk to you for a minute?' she asked

'Sure, Trunks upstairs' Bulma instructed as he ran up 'What's up?'

'Well first off, I hope you're okay after the whole ordeal on trunks'…..'

'Trust me if you say sorry too I'll scream the place down, everyone has been pitying me over this crap, he's the one who should be sorry you know? And when he gets back… oooooo he's gonna wish he hadn't met me'

'So you still haven't heard from him?'

'Not since he almost killed Yamcha you mean? No! but he'll be back and I'll be here'

'Okay well I don't want to keep you, I just came round to ask you something'

'What is it?' she asked picking up a cigarette

'Well I just wanna know….are you happy? Is he happy?' she asked

'What do you mean?'

'The two of you together? Are you both happy, because I've been thinking a lot and I just needed to come out and say it cause otherwise it may never be said and would be too late to matter, because as you know I am happy with Cain and I just want to make sure Vegito is happy here too' she said as Bulma couldn't help but worry about this, was she trying to come between her and her man! No way was that happing!

'What makes you think he wouldn't be happy?'

'I am not saying he isn't I just…'

'What do you care anyway? You have Cain now!'

'I know that! And I'm happy, but you know how it is, despite my relationship, doesn't mean I don't stop thinking about Goku'

'But Goku isn't here is he?' Bulma said as Chichi looked away from her, hurt at the fact it was true

'No'

'And we both know Vegito wants to be here, with Me! And Our Son!'

'I just worry about his well-being, what's going through his mind…' Before chi could continue, a frustrated Bulma cut her off

'Chichi, he's fine! He's here with me and his son. And he doesn't need you in his life, no offence'

'I just want to…'

'You don't need to worry about him. That's my job now, he's my partner. And we're in love. You know that right, and he shows me all the time' she said

'Shows?' Chichi asked

'Yes. When we make love' Bulma answered as Chichi felt her heart sink. Goku had been with another woman? She knew not him alone but a part of him let that happen and she couldn't help but feel sad that he had moved on. Chichi held it together and looked to Bulma

'I see…..'

'Chichi sweetie I am not saying this to hurt you, but you gotta understand that Vegito loves me and only me now. And we are gonna be happy together, we both agreed it be best, didn't we?' Bulma asked as Chichi nodded. She was right, they did agree on that. And Vegito obviously wanted Bulma over her and who could blame him. Bulma was smart, beautiful and loyal to her mates. Who wouldn't want her?

'I guess…' chichi sighed

'But hey, don't feel bad, Cain seems like a great guy. And perfect for you I reckon! I think you have a golden opportunity to find some happiness again, and I say you grab the bull by the horns' Bulma instructed as Chichi looked up and thought about that. Bulma was right. She had a chance now. It was time to move on. And who would be better than Cain? He really cared for her and in time she really believed she could fall in love with him.

'Thanks Bulma, I appreciate you talking to me about this. I gotta go now'

'Oh sure anytime sweetie' Bulma grinned

'Oh and I want you to know, I'm glad he has you in his life, Vegito is a lucky guy' Chichi smiled and left. The moment she did, Bulma felt a huge wave of guilt wash over her, she had literally told her Best friend's wife to move on with another man. Bulma knew what she said was selfish, she was terrified she was gonna loose Vegito if chichi proclaimed her love for him, then she'd be the one to end up alone. When they first slept together she thought that was that, that she had won but it was far from it, She could tell Vegito still had a desire for Chichi too! It wasn't fair! She understood Goku's thoughts over her but why was Vegito so interested!? What was so special about her?! But now maybe just maybe he would forget about her completely if Chichi were to be intimate with someone, then hopefully he would fall into her arms and they can be happy, she only wondered what chichi would do.

The evening arrived as chichi just finished up in the mall and decided to head over to Cain's place she knew he normally headed home by 7 and that was perfect, she knew he kept a spare key under his door mat and let herself in. she placed some candles around the place and turned on the radio and soft music started playing and she placed the bottle of wine on the cabinet ready with two glasses. She then started doing her make up and style her hair leaving it down and then there was the finishing touch. She looked at herself in the mirror and took deep breaths. She was ready for this.

'You can do it, you Want to Be with Cain. He's amazing. He cares for you and he wants to be with you. So do not mess this up!' she lectured herself as she sprayed some perfume on herself then heard the front door open, it was time to shine.

Cain headed to his apartment door and went to unlock it only to find it was unlocked already.

'Huh? Did I leave this unlocked?' He asked himself as he opened up the door and noticed the scented candles around the living room and soft music playing in the background. He looked around looking super confused.

'Ummmm hello? Anybody here? He called out and scratched his head totally lost.

'Ahem' a voice came from behind him as he turned around his jaw dropped. There in his bedroom doorway, stood his girlfriend wearing a very beautiful Black lingerie nightdress. The neckline was decorated with black, delicate lace. At the centre of the bust and lower slit there were tiny matching black satin bows for added decoration. Thin adjustable shoulder straps provided a comfortable fit for her body. And from the looks of it, the nightdress hugs the bust and flows outwards over the derriere, creating an extremely sexy and flirtatious look for her. Her make up looking seductive and dark and her hair placed in a messy bun with some loose curls framing her face. He couldn't help but stare! She looked like a goddess.

'What the fu….?!'

'Hello Cain' she smirked sliding up and down the door frame

'Uhhhh Chichi, not that I am complaining or anything cause i defiantly am not but…..what the hell are you doing!?' he gasped as she walked towards him and removed his coat.

'I figured we would want to make this memorable, wouldn't you agree?' she raised a brow. He knew where she was going and gasped.

'Woah woah wait… you sure about this? This is a huge step and I don't want you to think….'

'I don't want to think anymore. I just wanna do, and you have never put any pressure on me Cain. I think you are the best thing that has happened to me in a long-time and I really want see where we can go with this, and honestly. I have been thinking about this for a while and all I wanna do is remember this moment' she whispered as he smiled

'Chi….' He leaned in to kiss her as she wrapped her arms around him kissing him deeply. He pulled her into his arms as her fingle tussled with his hair, their tongues dancing in the process. They then started making their way into the bedroom where Cain shut the door behind them both as they both fell on the bed.

Chichi continued kissing his lips as he got on top of her and stroked her bare legs making her giggle. She then started unbuttoning his shirt and threw it off him and leaned back admiring the view. She had to admit he was a heartthrob. He noticed her stares and then went to kiss her neck making her giggle and moan at once, she stroked his back with her fingertips and enjoyed feeling his touch. She couldn't believe this was happing. It felt so good. Being Touched by Goku….wait no! not Goku she meant Vegito! No wait not even….. Oh no! maybe it was a bad idea!

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* Cain's front door started pounding as he huffed

'Oh goddamit what the hell!?' he huffed as the door knocked again

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

'Maybe you should answer is' Chichi sighed

'Nah they'll go away eventually' he said and kissed her again

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* It knocked again as he groaned

'Cain, I'll still be here when you get back. Just go answer it' she giggled as he sighed and got off her and went to answer the door. Chichi needed to get her head straight! She was not kissing Goku, She was not Kissing Vegito! She was Kissing Cain! She just needed to get that through to her over thinking brain, then she overheard the conversation from the next room, and boy what a conversation it was.

Cain went to answer the door softly mumbling to himself in annoyance.

'Can I not get one goddam minute to myself, this close to just being with my Hot girlfriend for the first time…' he huffed as the door knocked again 'Okay Okay I'm Coming!' he huffed and finally answered the door 'Okay who is it…' he stopped in midsentence when he saw who it was. It was a woman with curly blonde hair and was very beautiful and looked roughly Cain's age. Cain knew exactly who she was.

'Ch…..Charity?' he gasped aloud

'Hello Cain' she waved nervously as he frowned

'What the hell are you doing here?' He asked

'Please, I really need to talk to you, can I come in?' she asked

'No look I'm sorry I'm kinda busy right now….'

'Please Cain! Please just 5 minutes and if you don't like what I gotta say I'll leave you alone forever' she pleaded. Cain looked at her and sighed hard, he allowed her inside as she walked to the living room, chichi had the door open on par so she could hear the commotion. She never knew what Charity looked like, now she knew. She was kinda pretty. Cain stood there waiting for her to talk.

'Okay you're here, so what do you want?' he asked as she sighed

'I just want you to know that… I am so sorry about what has happened between us and I this isn't easy for me to say cause we both know what I'm like about feelings'

'So, why are you here?'

'Look, Cain, this is over a year too late, but here goes. I've been in love with you since high school. We dated for a long time, but then we got married and had the girls, and I guess for two young people trying to provide for their kids, we drifted apart when we got wrapped in our work, and for me it was just too much to handle, so I got unfaithful. Ever since you left I have been broken And for a long time, I just focused on being a mother. I tried to forget about you. And tried to forget about the very idea of being in love. But then I thought about you all the time and it reminded me again of what we had. And I loved you for that. I loved you so much, in fact, that it was just shy of enough. I know I hurt you but I never stopped loving You. I still love you' She stated as Cain looked at her frowning. How could she say this!? Chichi felt bad for Charity a little, she looked lost without him.

'It was good seeing you, Charity.' He said going to open the door to make her leave

'Can you take me back?'

'What?!' He turned around to look at as if she was crazy

'I know what you're thinking, but you and me have been together for a long time and I want us to be a family again. You're a good man Cain and i hope you can forgive me. . I mean….I know it's a crazy thing to ask...'

'Yeah, it's a really stupid and crazy thing to ask.' He huffed as she then looked frail and desperate for his love

'Well, I don't know what else to do, okay? I love You! I always have and I always will!' She pleaded

'Oh, you love me. So, what? You're...You're appealing to the romantic in me? Is that your strategy? Because that guy's gone. You can't pull those strings anymore. They're not attached to anything, thanks to you. And I actually have something with someone else now and you're just gonna have to deal with that' he said

'I know you care about her, but she can never replace me. And I think you know that!'

'We broke up over a year ago Charity.'

'Yeah, but that's not that long ago. Watching you being with another woman isn't exactly something I was looking forward to. I understand she's a nice woman and she makes you flattered and stuff but you must admit, she can never be enough. Not like we were for one another. I still see you as my husband despite our divorce'

'Charity you can't play with my emotions like this! This is unfair. I like Chichi'

'But you don't love her?' She asked as he hesitated

'I… I don't know'

'You still love me?'

'That doesn't matter….. You're trying to mess with my head right now!'

'That's not it. It's just that...'

'Why are you bringing any of this up? There's nothing between us anymore.' He said

'Well, maybe there is!' She yelled as he looked at her shocked. Chichi listening behind the door carefully 'I mean, of course, there is. That kind of stuff just doesn't disappear without a trace. Look, I'm not just another girl to you Cain, I was your wife!'

'Right. We used to be married, but we both moved on. And, look, we got what we wanted. I'm getting on with my life, you're dating that reporter guy, And they all lived happily ever...'

'I dumped him!'

'You what?' He gasped

'I thought I wanted him, but the moment we were together I knew I wanted to come back to my real life. And I think you should go back to yours.' She said slowly

'What's that supposed to mean?' he frowned

'Don't fall for Her' she said with tears in her eyes as he groaned in frustration 'Look, I get I hurt you and Chichi makes you happy and but I can too, I'd spend the rest of my life trying to make it up to you. We would have a chance to be a family again. And I took you for granted in the last few years and I was wrong. Cain, you're the most romantic guy I know. You trespassed on celebrity's property just to get me to go out with you. You Dived off a cliff to prove your love for me! I know I am the last person who deserves you but I will do anything to make you understand how much I need you. And I think you need me.' She then began to cry

'Charity…'

'Cain, I have loved you since the moment you sat across from me in science class. And I knew you were the one for me. Some people don't get chances like this and I think if you didn't take it, we might lose eachother for good. We deserve to put our family together again' she said. Chichi thought about her words. Maybe…she was right. How often do people get opportunities like this? Cain sighed and was thinking hard

'This isn't fair….' He groaned

'I know it isn't but Cain….. I have to tell you this because I don't want to lose you. Okay I love you! I never stopped!' She cried as he looked at her, in those moment he did want to pull her into an embrace but restrained himself.

'Go home Charity. I can't do this right now' he sighed as she nodded before she left she turned to look at him

'If you believe we can move past this, meet me on the blossom tower Where we had our first date Tomorrow at 10pm. If you don't show up then I'll understand and I'll never bother you again if its to discuss our Girls…. But if you do…. I swear to you, I will spend my life proving to you how much you mean to me, cause no man deserves it more than you.' She said and left. Cain looked to watch her leave and then shut the door. He wasn't expecting this well… ever. He softly pounded his head against the door and felt torn. Of course a part of him will always love Charity but that didn't mean he could just forgive and forget. And then there was Chichi, this beautiful, enchanting Woman who hasn't made him as happy since Charity's betrayal. And right now she was the most important thing, he headed back to his room and saw she looked at him sympathetically.

'You heard that huh?' he asked as she nodded as he sat down 'I guess this ruined the mood a little huh?' he said and sighed hard, chichi went over to sit on the edge of the bed next to him

'Are you okay?' she asked

'Yeah, I'm fine…well… I think..' he said. Chichi saw that look in his eyes, he was conflicted.

'Cain….. do you still love her?' she asked as he looked at her

'What? No i….. no of course I don't… well I mean… of course a part of me will always love her, I mean she's the mother of my kids. But I'm happy with you'

'Cain. I know you want to say it cause you think it's the right thing to say but I can see the look in your eyes. I see you still love her' Chichi smiled at him sadly as he sighed and rested his face in his hands

'No chi i….'

'Its okay, Cain really its okay'

'No it isn't! How can I still love her?! She hurt me chi…. How can I forgive her?' he asked as she placed her hands in his

'You know…..Goku put me through a lot of crap over the years, but I still forgive him. Because I love him. Love doesn't make sense and It's never easy. But you make it work because the people you love are worth it, whether they are a friend or a life long partner. And Cain, despite what you may think or feel about what she did, if you let it hold you back, then you'll never let yourself be happy again.'

'But… Chichi we have a good thing going here' he said as she held back her tears, this was hard.

'You're right. But you're not mine to have, just Like Vegito isn't mine to have. You know I would give anything to have Goku back in my life and we could be a family again but that's never gonna happen for me. But it doesn't mean it has to happen to you too. You have a real shot of rebuilding your family and I know deep down… that's what you want, you just don't want to say it cause you don't want to hurt me. But it's okay Cain. Its okay' she whispered as Cain looked at her trying not to cry.

'But what about you?' he asked

'What about me?'

'You and me, I don't want to see you hurt'

'I won't be, how can I be? I still have my boys and you've reminded me on what it feels like to be…well… loved' she blushed as he sighed and smiled

'If we made it, I know I'd never stop loving you. I now know how Goku felt'

'I could have really loved you too, you're a good man Cain. But you're not mine to take' she sighed

'What do I do Chichi? How can I forgive her?'

'You go to the tower tomorrow, you tell her you'll make it work because you love her, I'm gonna be honest with you it isn't gonna be easy, on either of you. But with a little strength and plenty of love and affection, I know you can start to move past it. Because some people are still worth fighting for'

'You make it sound easy'

'It's not. But love makes it easy.' She whispered as He leaned in to kiss her softly, he knew this would be the last time for them both. They rested their heads on the other for a moment

'You are incredible Princess Chichi' he whispered as she softly chuckled

'So are you… Cain Akasia' she whispered and gently kissed his cheek. After that, she got dressed and got her belongings and went to leave. He opened the door for her as she looked back at him.

'I hope things work out for you. I really do' she said

'You're happy ending is near Chi, if I know anything about Goku, I know he'd be trying anything to come back'

'If only that was true'

'Keep believing in him, maybe he's closer to it than you think' he said as he gave her a tight embrace as she held him close. She never had a breakup like this ever! And it was hard. But she knew it was for the best, for the sake of his kids and the woman who still loved him. She pulled away from his embrace and softly smiled

'Goodbye Cain' she sighed

'Goodbye Chichi' he said and closed the door. Thus their relationship came to an end.

Nimbus dropped chichi back at the Son household as chichi walked in and noticed the light was still on, she saw Gohan and Goten there watching a movie and they saw their mom and paused it.

'Oh hey mom' Goten smiled

'It's a little late isn't it?' she asked raising a brow

'Sorry we ummmm…weren't expecting you till tomorrow, we thought you were staying at Cain's tonight?' Gohan asked as she sighed

'No ummmm…we broke up' she said as they boys looked at her in shock and disbelief

'What you did?!' Gohan gasped

'What happened mom?' Goten asked

'Somethings just don't work out boys, if it's all the same I don't really want to talk about it' she said

'Are you okay?' Gohan asked

'Yeah! I'll be fine but I think I'm gonna go to bed now okay? Keep the volume down' she said as they nodded

'Night mama' Goten waved a little but she was already gone. Goten looked back at his bother and they both looked worried

'You think I should go talk to her?' Gohan asked

'And say what? Maybe we should leave it till tomorrow big brother' Goten suggested

'Yeah maybe you're right'

'You think dad knows?'

'I don't know, but its not our business to say anything. Its gotta be up to mom who knows about her and Cain'

'I just hope she's okay' Goten looked worried for his mother

'Yeah….you and me both buddy' Gohan nodded, thinking what was going through his mother's mind.

Chichi went upstairs and closed her bedroom door behind her, she got dressed into her Pj's and sat on her bed. She began reflecting on how much her relationship with Cain had changed her. It made her confident, and beautiful. She hadn't felt like that since Goku was around. She then grabbed her bag and pulled out a photo of her and Cain together, Both standing side to side with his arm wrapped around her as she leaned into his chest. She softly smiled and placed the photo in her little photo book. No matter how much she loved Goku, she will always care for Cain and never regret her relationship with him. But now, he could rebuild his family again, and she wished she could do the same.

'Oh Goku, I wish you were here…..' she whispered and sat on her windowsill and looked up at the starry sky, hoping someone up there could answer her prayers.

It was almost midnight and Bulma was still awake, she lit up her cigarette lighter and inhaled and she heard a noise from upstairs. She headed upstairs and into her room. Nobody was there and then noticed her bedroom window was open. She looked out the window and saw a familiar face, she then frowned.

'VEGITO!' She roared but he kept on walking away and headed into the gravity room, pissing her off.

'Oh no you don't! you're not walking away from this!' she huffed to herself and headed out of the house and went to the gravity room and started pounding on the door

'HEY! VEGITO! GET YOU'RE ASS OUT HERE AND TALK TO ME! YOU HAVE SOME EXPLAINING TO DO! OPEN THE DOOR YOU FU…' Before she could finish, Vegito opened the door and let her in

'Fine just quit yelling!' he frowned

'How can I not? You've been gone for two weeks and you don't let me know where you went! And not to mention you ruined our son's party!'

'I didn't mean to! Look I will make it up to him'

'And me!'

'Why You?'

'You Serious Right Now!? You embarrassed me in front of our friends! Not to mention you assaulted Yamcha and plus you just took off to let me deal with the fallout.'

'I didn't ask you to!'

'OH MY GOD WHAT IS YOU'RE PROBLEM!? I AM TRYING TO HAVE A NORMAL DSICUSSION WITH YOU!' She yelled

'This isn't a discussion! You're just here to Yell at me! Well I'm not exactly in the mood to be screamed at right now!'

'You never wanna talk at all! I have tried to get you to open up and talk to me but nooooo. You'd rather be away training and not come back for god knows how long, and when you do come back, you always look like death!'

'Why don't you mind your own business!'

'YOU ARE MY BUSINESS! I AM YOUR PARTNER!'

'QUIT REMINDING ME!' He roared

'Oh I know what this is about! Its about her isn't it?' she huffed

'Who?'

'The queen of England, who do you think!? CHICHI!' She huffed as he sighed

'No it isn't'

'Bullshit! You have been angry and frustrated and obsessed with training since you heard she was seeing somebody else, somebody who actually makes her happy'

'Bulma I can't turn off my feelings for Chichi'

'Well you're gonna have to! Cause you are with me!'

'SO YOU KEEP REMINDING ME!'

'Chichi is with Cain Now! Would you rather ruin her relationship just so you can…..'

'I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT BULMA! But I can tell you, you and chichi made your choice on what to do with me the moment I came back, you were desperate to be with me and chichi went along with it not caring about what I wanted.'

'AND WHAT DID YOU WANT?!'

I DON'T KNOW!' He roared and held his head in pain and fell to the floor, by this point, Bulma was concerned

'Vegito? Are you okay?' she asked

'ARRRGH!' He roared as he felt the two beings fight in his mind! It was too much! Then it calmed down as he took breaths, Bulma walked to him and reached out for him

'Hey, you alright?' she asked as he got up

'I have to get out of here' he said as she frowned, watching him leave

'OH NO! YOU JUST GOT BACK!'

'Bulma just leave me alone!' He huffed and took off into the sky

'VEGITOOOOOOOOOO!' She screamed into the night, Then fell to her knees and started crying. What was going on with him!?

Vegito Flew as fast as the speed of sound and landed in one of the nearby cities, he landed by the hotspots and then just decided to walk along the streets, he then looked around and saw the town was busy people were out and having a good time. He then saw a couple of young adults and saw them making out against the wall and giggling to each other, he saw the way the girl was looking at him, she looked so happy and in love, he remembered how chichi used to look at him that way, now she looks at him with confusion. He hated she couldn't open up to him, now she was busy with Cain. Not that he could be mean, he obviously was doing something right for her, but he knew if he could be Goku again she would take him in a heartbeat…. He hoped. Man he really had messed things up with her. How could he be so selfish? He left her alone for so long and its no wonder she lost her faith in him. As he walked down the street, he noticed he was coming past Chichi's café, he looked on the outside and he couldn't help but smile softly, he was proud of her. He never told her, but he was always proud of her, she had a plan and she stuck to it. And it was good she had made a name for herself. He just wished he could tell her as Goku. But nowadays he could barely get a word in because they were either gonna fall out or she'd leave before the conversation could go further. What the hell was he gonna do with himself?

As he kept walking along the street and stood outside the casino Hall and then a familiar face walked out, or at least two. Yamcha and Krillen. They were there with a bunch of other guys he presumed they were Yamcha's baseball buddies. Yamcha noticed Vegito there and then frowned

'Oh look who finally showed his face' he frowned

'Back off Yamcha I'm not in the mood'

'No you're not are you? After the stunt you pulled at Bulma's I am surprised she hadn't dumped your ass'

'Oh right you mean like she dumped you?' He smirked as Yamcha frowned

'Why are you such an asshole?'

'Why are you such a Moron?'

'Guys can you just knock it off' Krillen yelled

'The only reason I assaulted you was because you were hitting on Chichi!'

'I apologised to Chichi, not that its any of your business!'

'She was my wife you know!?'

'WAS! WHEN YOU WERE GOKU! AND MAYBE I WISH GOKU WAS HERE INSTEAD OF THE JOKE WE CALL VEGITO!' Yamcha yelled

'Oh I don't need to take this' Vegito huffed and walked, but Yamcha wasn't done!

'Oh where you going Vegito? Gonna walk away like a coward? Chicken' Yamcha grinned as his baseball friends sniggered. Vegito turned around and looked at him

'Careful Yamcha, your next work could specify what's gonna happen to you'

'Oh Well…'

'Okay' Vegito grinned, grabbed Yamcha and headed over to a nearby Water well and threw him down it

'Ahhhhhh!' Yamcha fell in making a splashing sound at the bottom! The guys looked down the well and saw him swimming around

'You just threw Yamcha down a well!' One of the guys gasped

'Yeah! Anyone wanna join him?' He smirked as they all backed off

'no no no no' they backed off as Vegito Victoriously walked away, Krillen was angry! At Yamcha and Vegito!

'I wish Goku was here' He huffed as Vegito looked to him

'What?'

'I miss my best friend, he wasn't like the asshole I see before me now. I mean sure, Vegeta was a massive prick, but he had morals too, but the two of you together, its toxic! Because you two know you're both too strong and stubborn for one another to be trapped with eachother for so long! And its affecting everyone around you. Your friends, your kids, Your Partner and even yourself! Hope you're proud of yourself Vegito! You saved the world but now you're paying the price for it and one day everyone is gonna be sick to death of you and you're gonna be alone. And congratulations, you're already on the way to make that happen.' Krillen huffed and walked away, gonna try and help Yamcha out of the well. Vegito just looked at him, he hated to admit it, but he was right! Bu he would never admit it to Krillen's face. He then huffed and took off into the sky and headed into the mountains in a huff.

'They don't understand! How could they? They all judge me! All I want is to just get my head straight cause no one is ever gonna accept me! I hate this! God I just wish I could talk to the one person who could just listen to me!' He roared he then punched the wall of the mountain and because of all the training he had been doing, his strength was very weak. As a result he ended up braking his hand!

'AHHHHH GODDAMMIT!' He roared and then fell to his knees and groaned in pain.

'I hate this…' He sighed and then ended up curling up in the mountain caves and fell asleep. Wishing he could just be the person he wanted to be, with a certain someone at his side. He needed to fix things, starting with Chichi.
