Chapter 10- Trouble On A Party Cruise

Vegito was out training with Piccolo. Funnily enough the namekian was the only person not to treat Vegito differently. It didn't matter to him, Vegito promised Bulma he would ease up on the training. And considering he felt guilty over something he had done, he wasn't in a position to disagree with her. Piccolo noticed how distracted the fused sayien seemed, his punches were not as forceful and he seemed…..off. Piccolo called for a short break and Vegito didn't object, they both lowered down to the ground and grabbed some water.

'You seem distracted.' He said

'I'm fine!'

'Don't lie, I can sense your not fighting to you full strength. What's going on?' He asked as Vegito

'Mind your own Business Piccolo, we are here to train'

'This is about chichi isn't it?' He asked as Vegito paused

'What?'

'Something happened at that party last week, she was gone from the party for a while and you were in the house too. Something happened' there was no fooling The namekian

'I…I'

'personally, I don't want to know the details but whatever is happening, you obviously are distracted by this. And she's the reason. You love her?'

'Of course I love her'

'But….?'

'There's Bulma to think about too'

'No matter what is gonna happen, one of them will get hurt. If you want Bulma, stay away from Chichi, you'll only hurt her further, but if you want Chichi, break it off with Bulma now, before she gets hurt'

'You know this conversation is not making me feel any better'

'My point is that you need to decide for yourself who you want. Don't let them decide for you. Maybe then you can focus on your training' Piccolo huffed as Vegito thought about that, easier said than done. He didn't know who he wanted.

Meanwhile at the Café, Chichi was serving her customers while Launch worked in the kitchen today. Videl was there running around helping. Chichi despite with a smile on her face, couldn't be more confused and lost with her emotions. A week had been since the party and chichi hadn't been able to get what happened out of her head. But despite that, she was still working and not let anyone see she was distracted. If people knew what had happened…. God, she didn't want to imagine the fallout of it all, and she had been avoiding Bulma too. She couldn't face her about what she had done behind her back, she hated Vegito for putting her in this position! It was the one place she never wanted to me. But noooooo! He had to go and….. her face flushed thinking back to him pressing her up against the wall, his hot breath on her skin, his slick tongue working her neck and scar, and his hands…oh wow! The way they touched her made her feel so good! Videl Noticed Chichi in a daydream and waved in front of her shaking Chichi out of her daydream.

'CHI! You okay?' she asked as Chichi blushed and nervously laughed

'Oh yeah yeah I'm fine! I guess I was just…dreaming'

'What about?' Before she could an answer a familiar face walked into the café making Chichi's eyes widen

'Hey girls!' Bulma grinned

'Hey Bulma!' Launch waved

'Oh shit' Chichi mumbled

'I'm so glad you're all here cause I got something to discuss with you' she said as she leaned on the counter 'Can I get a Latte Please Chi?' she asked as Chichi nodded and made one up, It didn't seem like Vegito had told her about what happened, she hoped it would remain that way.

'So what's up Bulma?' Launch asked

'Krillen and 18' she answered

'Yeah? What about them?' Videl asked

'Well it's their anniversary this weekend and I think we should do something for them' Bulma said

'Please not another party' Videl whined

'What why not?'

'Because every party we have is at your place, no offence but if we are gonna have one, can we do it somewhere else?'

'Okay well then where?'

'Somewhere where 18 won't expect'

'That'll leave her speechless' Launch added

'Hmmmmmm….. Chichi what do you think?' Bulma asked as Chichi was hardly paying attention and looked to the blue haired beauty.

'What?' she asked

'18 and Krillen's anniversary party, where should we have it?' Bulma asked, confused at Chichi behaviour.

'Ummmm…well I do know 18 would like a party on a cruise ship, she said it's the one thing she's always wanted to do, we could hire a ship for the day and go out' Chichi suggested as Launch and Videl's lit up

'Oh wow that's a great idea!' Launch squealed

'Yeah she would love that!' Videl smiled as Bulma nodded

'I can rent a ship!'

'I can cook' chichi added

'Perfect! Okay I got calls to make, and remember not a word of this to Krillin and 18, I'm sure you girls can keep a secret' that last line made chichi feel so much guilt, oh she had a secret alright. Got this was gonna be hard.

The day of the Party arrived as The girls led Krillin and 18 blindfolded to the docks where they revealed the marina wooden cruise ship they were gonna take for their anniversary. 18 had to admit she was not expecting this! Krillin was super excited and all their friends had arrived to join the celebration. Chichi had made such amazing courses including a giant Strawberry cake with white and gold frosting. 18's favourite. Everyone enjoyed the smell of the sea as they took off on the cruise ship, Goten, Trunks and Marron all played and ran around the ship exploring as everyone mingled. Bulma had finally dragged Vegito to joining the cruise and even he admitted, the atmosphere was great, the sun was shining down, the smell of the sea air hitting nostrils, and everyone having a great time.

Bulma was wearing a very attractive red bikini top and blue denim shorts with her sunglasses sitting on her head, she sent him a wink as he blushed. Vegito had to admit she was gorgeous, but he couldn't help but look in the direction of someone else, her beautiful midnight hair flowing in a side sweep, she wore a purple swimsuit and a yellow see through sarong skirt, with enough of a slit to show off her left leg. The sight was Making Vegito purr with the desire to feel her near him again. But ever since their little…..experience. Chichi had been keeping her distance from him, he couldn't blame her of course.

He thought it might be best to keep a distance for now, the last thing he needed was for Bulma to find out. he thought about what had been happening in the past few months and truly wanted to make things right, cause he knew there was no way he was gonna be Goku and Vegeta again, he needed to start making things right again, starting with His friends, he caught sight of Yamcha, Krillin and the other guys and slowly made his way over.

'Hey guys' he greeted as Yamcha and Krillin looked to eachother

'Hey' they greeted

'Look i… I just wanted to say that I'm sorry' he started as they looked to him 'I know I've been an ass to you guys and I know I need to work on my anger and I just needed you guys to know, I'm sorry' Vegito said as Krillin and Yamcha looked to eachother and sighed

'Yeah…. I guess we haven't been so great either' Krillin said

'Yeah, we're sorry too. This is just a lot we gotta get used to' Yamcha added

'I'm sorry I choked you at the party, and for throwing you down a well…..'

'Eh I was kinda asking for it about the choking part, I was just so drunk' Yamcha admitted

'And besides, if you hadn't pretty sure chichi would have' Krillin joked making the other 2 laugh

'I know but I guess we can work on being friends again, maybe we could spar sometime'

'You know that sounds great' Krillin smiled

'I'll drink to that, good to have you here Vegito' Yamcha chuckled as Vegito smiled. Chichi noticed the reconciliation and was pleased Vegito was making an effort, he looked over to her and softly smiled as she blushed and turned away and walked over to the side of the ship feeling the wind on her face. 18 noticed the vibe and walked over to her, away from everyone else

'Okay what's going on with you?' She asked

'Wha….what do you mean?'

'Him giving you a look and your face going as red as a tomato. What's going on?'

'Nothing!'

'Chi….. don't lie to me..' 18 frowned as chichi was battling with the matter of either telling her or lie. 18 was not the kind of woman you'd wanna lie to

'Okay just, promise you'll keep this to yourself, no one can know not even Krillin!' She instructed

'Why would….'

'Promise!'

'Okay okay I promise' 18 said as Chichi took a deep breath

'Last week, at capsule corp…something kinda happened…..between me and…' Chichi looked over to Vegito as 18 followed her gaze, her eyes widened and looked to the blushing Princess

'YOU MEAN…' She yelled but Chichi covered her mouth, 18 removed her hands and whispered instead 'You Mean You and Vegito Had Sex?!'

'No no not sex we just…kissed and stuff'

'What do you mean stuff?'

'Do you want the full details!?'

'Not really no'

'The point is, is that now I can barely look Bulma in the eye. Oh my god I am a terrible person! You were right I would do something like this I am a terrible person!' Chichi panicked burying her face in her hands

'Chichi you're not a bad person' 18 sighed making chichi look up

'How can you say that?'

'Because you have as much right to Be with Vegito as Bulma does'

'That doesn't make it right'

'Says who?' 18 Asked as Chichi sighed sadly 'Look your situation is complicated and I'd be going crazy too, but let's think back here for a minute, you tried to move on, yes! You're now running a business and that is amazing for you, you Tried to move on with Someone new, you met Cain, you dated Cain, literally one of the nicest people I have met and he was great for you, but that didn't work out, because although you wanna believe that you wanted him to rebuild his family, another part of you believes maybe you and Vegito could have a chance. Vegito just proved that he wanted you so the question is…..do you want him?' 18 asked as Chichi looked over to the fused sayien and sighed hard

'I have to talk to him' she said seriously

'I'll keep Bulma distracted' 18 said

'Thanks, I know what I have to do' Chichi nodded

18 had dragged Bulma and Launch onto the dance floor with Yamcha and Roshi, who was trying to grope their butts but they were quick to dodge. Vegito was looking down at the party from the upper deck, sensing someone was standing behind him, he turned to come face to face with chichi who was looking nervous

'We need to talk' she said as he turned completely towards her

'Okay….' He answered

'What happened between us…..i need you to know….i haven't felt that amazing in years' she stated. Vegito looked at her surprised, was she actually happy about that? 'The way you held me, and kissed and touched me, it was as if Goku was there. And I have been waiting for that feeling for so long, even when I was with Cain I wished I was with him, but that wasn't Cain's fault. It was just me. And although I know it was you and not Goku, I…. have to tell you it felt amazing!' she softly smiled as he smiled back as he approached as she raised a hand to make him stop and her smile disappeared making him wonder where she was going with this.

'That doesn't mean its gonna happen again, it cant! I told you that I never wanted to do anything behind Bulma's back and now I have, but I won't let it go as far as that. I understand a part of you is Goku and yes I admit I have developed feelings for you and I'm physically attracted to you but the only reason for that is because a part of you is my husband. And If I can't have him then I don't want any of it. I can't have it. I just needed you to know that' she said and went to walk away

'Chichi?' he called out, his voice so close to resembling Goku's, she turned to look at him 'I'm here in this body. I can't just shake you out of my mind it doesn't work that way for me, I want you every day because I'm in love with you, I never stopped' he said as she sighed

'Overtime, you'll see this was for the best. I can't be put in a position like this, I don't want to get hurt, I don't want to see Bulma get hurt and you know I don't want you to get hurt.'

'You don't think I'm hurting now?'

'I don't know what you think, if you were Goku I'd know. But you're not!'

'But I'm here! Listen to me when I say that! I'm right here and I want to be with you! In this body! Please Chichi I need to be with you' Vegito exclaimed as Chichi sighed hard and tried to not cry.

'Okay, then you answer me one question' she said slowly, 'If I were to be with you, if I was to let you hold me, to kiss me, to touch me, to make me yours…. Would the Goku in you Forgive me?' she asked. That was the question. Vegito hesitated on his answer, he blinked thinking about that, the Goku him thought about that as she sighed and softly smiled

'That's what I thought' she said and went to leave him but turned around 'I know How this would end. Someone will get hurt and I refuse to let that be anyone I care for. I can deal with not being with my husband again, but I could never cope with the thought of him not forgiving me if I gave myself to another, so maybe you're right, maybe that was the reason I split with Cain but you're no different to him. You're another man by the end of the day' she said as he looked to her

'A man who loves you'

'But deep down I bet he wouldn't forgive me, I couldn't bear that' she turned to leave as he called out

'You know, you could always be selfish, this one time take what you want, to hell with the consequences' as she softly chuckled and looked to him again

'Maybe. But I wouldn't be your Chichi now would I?' she asked, they intensity in her eyes, she showed how much she loved him and showing how much pain he caused all at the same time. 'I'm sorry Vegito' She sighed sadly as She left to return to her friends as Vegito stood there thinking over her question.

'Would the Goku in you forgive me?'

That was the question. Vegito could feel the two minds of the two sayiens in his brain. As if they were talking to eachother

(IN VEGITO'S MIND)

'Could I forgive her?' Goku asked

'Yes she asked the question moron. What do you say?' Vegeta huffed as Goku thought.

'Makes me wonder, how many times did she forgive me?'

'What?'

'I have put her through so much and even now I'm putting her through so much. And I know she always forgave me, I could see it in her eyes. She loved me through everything I put her through and I know I never deserved her love, but she forgave me. And the thought of her thinking I could never forgive her…. It makes me want to shake her! How could she think I couldn't forgive her'

'Well how bout the fact she wouldn't be with you because you're in Vegito's body.'

'You understood for Bulma. You forgive her don't you?' Goku asked as Vegeta huffed

'Yes.'

'I let you have Bulma, I had to bear that for the sake of your relationship. I thought I could carry on as normal but I am not normal without her. I Need my wife, no more than ever' Goku stated as Vegeta could see he was very serious

'And what about the fallout?' Vegeta asked as Goku frowned

'Right now, I don't care.' Goku answered

Vegito knew his answer now and he had go tell her. He walked down the deck and looked over to Bulma who was laughing away with Yamcha and 18.

'Hey Guys, if you look over the port side. Over by those rocks, there have been sightings of Sharks' she pointed as Goten and Trunks stopped playing Tag and tried to see some sharks.

'I don't see anything!' Trunks called out

'Well no they would be deeper in the rock side sweetie, staying away from the ship propellers' Bulma explained

'Nawh, I wanted to see them' Trunks sighed as Goten smirked

'TAG!'

'HEY COME BACK!' Trunks laughed as they ran around the ship

'Be careful!' Bulma laughed as Vegito watched and softly sighed.

'I'm sorry Bulma' he said. He didn't want to hurt her. But he loved Chichi as much as her. He saw Chichi standing on her own over the starboard side. Vegito took a deep breath and walked over to her. Her eyes closed taking in the smell of the sea. Vegito walked over to her. As he did, Goten and trunks were still playing tag on the upper deck close to the main bowing of the main mast of the ship, Trunks was now it and was trying to catch Goten. Vegito made it to Chichi as she turned to face him

'You shouldn't be here' she sighed

'I need to tell you something….' He said as she listened, as Trunks jumped in front of Goten

'TAG!' Trunks, unintentionally pushed Goten rather hard and he ended up hitting the wooden mast making it come loose from its rigging and swing towards Vegito and Chichi. Vegito was unaware as his back was turned but Chichi Noticed and realised he was gonna get hit

'MOVE!' She pushed him out of the way as the mast came swinging at her, smacking her hard across the head knocking her out and falling over the starboard side into the sea

'CHICHI!' Vegito called out as he looked over the side and couldn't see her body, She had gone under the ship! Everyone noticed the commotion and ran over the side to search for her

'MOM!' Goten yelled out

'I don't see her!' Roshi panicked as Vegito removed his shirt

'What are you doing?!' Bulma asked scared

'I'm going in!'

'Are you crazy there are sharks in the water!'

'So what I'm supposed to let her get hurt?!'

'But…..!'

'I'M NOT LOOSING HER!' He roared and dived into the water, Bulma stood there in shock, of course she was afraid for chichi but she was more afraid of Vegito being in Love with Chichi over her! She knew that shouldn't matter now but she couldn't help it! 18 was looking into the sea but she couldn't spot either of them! Everyone was looking around trying to see either Vegito or Chichi but to no avail! Gohan was getting impatient

'That's it I'm going in! he said and began removing his shirt

'Wait Look!' Videl yelled as Vegito's head popped out of the water and was holding Chichi's head above the sea, her head was bleeding from the hit she received. And it began to attract the sharks and they started swimming toward them and circle them

'GUYS!' Vegito yelled as one shark went to attack had it not been for Tien and Chiaoutzu to throw some energy beams into the sea and scare them away. Vegito swam to the side of the Ship and Held and Unconscious chichi in his arms,

'I got Her! I got her!' Yamcha said pulling her up onto the ship as she lay there. Krillin helped Vegito out of the sea. Vegito ran to Chichi's said and checked for a heartbeat, he couldn't hear one. His eyes widened in fear.

'No no no no no no!' he said and began to do compressions as everyone watched on! Bulma was watching and she couldn't help but cry, she knew. She knew he loved her! Vegito didn't care about anyone right now and just kept pressing on her chest, to get her to breath.

'Come on Chi!' He whispered as he continued his compressions…..
