Chapter 14 – Bulma Vs Chichi

Another Day at the Café as Chichi served her customers with a smile. But it was faked. Very well faked. She couldn't let her guests see her like she was feeling. 18 and Launch had noticed she was quieter than usual too. 18 had a strong feeling it was to do with Vegito and notices she had barely spoke of him since her and Krillin's anniversary party. Something was going on.

By the end of the day, they had closed the shop as Chichi mopped the café floor while Launch wiped down the counters and 18 counting the money. She looked to Launch and they both nodded and now was the time.

'What's up with you?' 18 Asked as Chichi looked to them both

'What do you mean?' Chichi asked

'You've been quiet all day and you're doing that fake smiling thing! We know something is bothering you' Launch added

'You don't think I'm just tired?'

'Not with you, No' 18 raised her brow as chichi scoffed and kept her eyes glued to the ground and continued to mop the floor.

'Chi….. has something happened?'

'Of course not'

'Don't lie'

'I'm not'

'Chichi…..'

'Look I don't want to talk about it alright?!' Chichi huffed and raised her voice a little and continued to mop

'Look Chi, we just wanna help. But we can't if you don't talk to us' Launch said softly

'I…. I can't talk about it' she said as 18 looked at her and sighed

'Is it Vegito?' She asked chichi stopped mopping. She looked to them and scoffed laughing

'No'

'Is it?'

'Why do you always think everything that's wrong is about him! My world does not evolve around that fused sayien!'

'Chichi… what's happened?' Launch asked concerned

'Has he done something?' 18 asked

'No! No of course not, he's happy! I'm happy! Everyone is happy!' She said as she placed the mop bucket away but without realising she knocked a couple of glasses onto the floor 'Oh Shit!' she huffed

'Its fine I got it!' Launch offered

'No its fine! I have to…' Chichi got to the floor and picked the pieces up by hand

'Let me…'

'No! I made this! It's my fault…..' she grabbed a piece but the sharp sides sliced her finger as she winced in pain

'You're bleeding' 18 gasped

'I'm such an idiot!'

'No you're not, it's a broken glass, could have happened to anyone' Launch smiled as chichi huffed

'NO I AM! I'm such an idiot… it's all my fault' Chichi suddenly began crying. Concerning Launch ad 18 as she wept into the android's chest. Both her friends comforting her.

Launch had bandaged her finger as chichi wiped her tears. 18 had made her a tea as well as for Launch and herself as they sat around one of the customer tables and talked

'You wanna tell us what that was about?' 18 asked as chichi sighed

'You can guess' chichi sighed

'Is it Vegito?' Launch asked as she nodded

'I'm assuming you told him you didn't want to do anything again?' 18 asked as Launch looked at her

'Wait what? You mean…..?'

'They had an encounter. Before the party on the cruise. And since then she has been beating herself up about it.' 18 said as chichi sighed

'It's not just that' chichi said

'What do you mean?'

'It's about what happened after the cruise too' she said as 18 looked at her confused

'What happened?' she asked as chichi gave her this look. A look of guilt and…..love. 18's eyes widened as she guessed. Launch could see it too. 'Oh my god…!'

'You mean….. you …..and he….. had…..!?'

'Yes'

'Chi!'

'I know I know! I could deny it all I want but in the end you were right! I did want him! That desire and need! It was so strong! That moment I only wanted Goku and I would take in anyway I could! And I hate it because…..i miss him. And I love him! I never stopped loving him!' chichi exclaimed as Launch and 18 looked at the other then back at her, both feeling sorry for her. But also concerned for another

'So…. Does Bulma know?'

'No, and don't you think youd have known sooner if she knew?'

'Well that'll be awkward' 18 said

'No it wont because we're not gonna tell her. It'll kill her to know what we did'

'But what if Vegito decides to tell her in order to be with you?' Launch asked

'He won't'

'Why are you still trying to push him away?' 18 Asked

'What?'

'You can deny it all you want but we all know you both want each other! You love one another and you miss the other! He wants you chi its killing him that he can't have you but your pushing away you love and feelings for the sake of Bulma's feelings'

'Because I can't do that! I can't…..'

'Chichi….. you love him. You should fight for him, just like he would for you' Launch said

'But what about Bulma?'

'Bulma will be alright. We'll all make sure of that. She won't be alone'

'It doesn't feel right! None of it does. If only the impossible would happen! Goku and Vegeta to be themselves again.' Chichi sighed as 18 and Launch looked at her sadly. 18 placed an arm around her and sighed

'I'm sorry chi, for all of this'

'Its not your fault. Its all on me. And now I gotta deal with it. I have to keep going for the sake of my kids' she said

'Well if you ever need us. We're here for you' Launch smiled

'Always' 18 winked as chichi softly smiled. Feeling blessed she had such good friends

'Thank you' she said as they all hugged.

Another day went by, Over in capsule Corp, Bulma stared out the window, she had been for the last 40 minutes. She had started cleaning the dishes and suddenly just kept looking out into the real world. She was so lost, After Hearing Vegito's confession last night in his sleep. She couldn't believe…..how could he? NO! How Could Chichi?! They had agreed! She lied and now she was trying to steal Vegito Away! No! she couldn't let that happen! She refused to lose the man she loved to a dried up housewife! She needed to set the record straight, Today! As she was daydreaming Trunks ran into the kitchen with Vegito behind him

'Mom, can I take a candy bar with me?' he asked as she remained unresponsive, staring out the window. 'Hello? Mom? Earth to Mom?' Trunks called out as Bulma was silent, Trunks gently poked her leg snapping her out of it

'Hmm? What Trunks?' She turned to him and huffed 'Yes yes you can'

'Thanks mom!' Trunks smiled and grabbed a candy bar and ran out the door, Bulma just kept on scrubbing the dishes

'I promised we would meet up with Gohan and Goten for a training session today' he said

'Okay' she answered not looking at him

'I won't overwork him, just help him get his energy attacks more effective'

'Mmm hmm'

'and we should be back by dinnertime. Maybe we could order something or…?' Vegito noticed she hadn't looked up at him and was curios 'Are you okay?' he asked

'Fine'

'You don't sound fine' he said as she scrubbed a little too hard aggressively as he took her hands and turned her to face him. 'Bulma?' he asked and saw how distant she looked and was curious 'Talk to me' he said, she looked at him, and so badly she wanted to scream in his face, but she couldn't. she loved him, never could she hurt him. She sighed and shrugged

'I guess I didn't sleep well, I'll be fine' she said as he gave her a hug, at first she wanted to push him away and knock him into next year but she found herself embracing him back, she still loved him. And she was damn well gonna fight for him. He pulled away and smiled, but then he rubbed his temple and groaned

'Vegito, you alright?' she asked as he frowned and rubbed his head with his index fingers and then let go

'Huh, it stopped' he whispered

'What stopped?'

'Oh ummm nothing, just a headache' he said as she looked at him, she didn't believe him, in fact she couldn't believe anything he ever said anymore.

'Right' she nodded

'Okay well I'll see you later okay' he said was out the door with Trunks. Bulma felt her fists clench, she knew what she was gonna do today, and that was to visit her 'dear friend', Chichi!

Over in Mount Pazou, Chichi was finishing up doing some laundry when her phone rang

'Hey launch she answered' she answered her phone

'Hey just a quick reminder, what was the pie of the day and do I need to make more of it?' She asked

'It's chicken and mushroom and no. if you run out, there's more in the back fridge, I'd say around 6 portions' she answered

'Okay got it'

'You sure you don't want me to come in today I don't mind, it is my business after all' she said

'You need a day to relax yourself. 18 and I can handle things here. Take a day to spend some time with the boys'

'Well I would but they're away training right now with Trunks and Their father, so it's just me here'

'Okay well take a day for yourself. Put your feet up and let us help' Launch suggested as Chi smiled

'I do appreciate it, but if you need me….'

'Chichi, its one day, what the worst that can happen. Just take a day to yourself and rest up. and we'll see you in the week'

'Okay thank you Launch. And give my thanks to 18 too'

'Will do! Bye Chi'

'Bye!' she smiled and hung up the phone and went outside to hang the wet clothes out to dry, it was a warm brisk day over in their isolated valley and it was days like these, she was thankful to feel peace and calm around her, she hung up the wet clothes when she heard a distant noise of an aircraft approaching, she looked up to see it was a capsule corp air ship and landed close to the house, Chichi walked over to the ship and out came Bulma, a really not happy Bulma.

'Oh hey Bulma, wasn't expecting you' Chichi Greeted

'Oh I'm sorry, were you expecting Vegito?' Bulma frowned, Chichi suddenly became nervous

'I…..no! No of course not, he's out with Gohan and Goten isn't he?'

'Yeah, he's out of the way for today, convenient!'

'What is all of this about Bulma?'

'Oh I just thought You'd like to Compare Notes? About him!' Bulma yelled. Chichi then became very nervous. She knew!

'I…. uhhhh .….…..don't…'

'What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?'

'I don't know what you….'

'STOP! YOU CAN STOP RIGHT THERE! DON'T YOU DARE LIE! I HEARD IT FROM THE HORSE'S MOUTH!' She yelled

'Bulma I don't know what Vegito has told you…?' Chichi asked as Bulma frowned

'He talks in his sleep, Did you know that? saying how much he wanted to love you….. again! his voice was exactly like Goku's! Now why would he say again…. unless something has already happened?' Bulma said in a low tone and saw the look on Chichi's face…..guilt. 'From the look on your face, I know I'm not wrong!'

'Bulma….i can explain!'

'Can You? How bout you start trying?!' Bulma yelled, Chichi sighed and took a deep breath.

'He….I….*Sigh*…..we slept together' she admitted. Bulma was angry, chichi could sense it.

'And there I thought I knew you so well, 'Oh don't worry Bulma, I don't love him, nothing will ever come between you two, you love eachother!' That was just Bullshit wasn't it?!' Bulma yelled as chichi sighed

'Look…..I am so so sorry, and I'll answer anything you want okay?'

'Oh I bet you can!' Bulma huffed give chichi a horrid death stare.

'What do you wanna know?'

'When?!' Bulma said as the tears began to flood in her eyes.

'A few days…after the boat incident' she answered as Bulma softly chuckled to herself

'The night he didn't come home…..he said he was training!' she huffed and looked at chichi 'How…many times?!'

'That day…..and then the morning after…we knew it couldn't happen again so…..I just wanted to be with him for a short amount of time before I had to say goodbye' Chichi said, sadness powering her words.

'You're not getting any Sympathy off me! You went behind my back! Both of you!'

'We knew it was wrong! And that's why we agreed it couldn't happen again, we wanted to spare you the grief!'

'Oh well good for you Chichi! I am so thankful, I think I'll give you a medal and throw a party in Your name!' Bulma screamed sarcastically

'I understand that you're angry….'

'Angry doesn't come close!'

'But he wants you Bulma! He does! He's just trying to get his head around it. It's been so difficult for him because he loves both of us!'

'So much, that he goes behind my back! And you just lay there and took it!' Bulma huffed, chichi frowned

'No! I ignored him! I had to! I didn't want to hurt you!'

'BUT YOU DID CHICHI! YOU PRACTICED WHAT YOU PREACHED!'

'I know! And I'm sorry! But… months and months of just trying to stay away from him, knowing that somewhere in there, Goku was trying to reach out to me. And I tried to leave it be, leave it in the past because it was only gonna bring grief into your life. But… I couldn't do it anymore. I denied my feelings for so long that by that point, I needed to release them' she said sadly as Bulma looked at her, angry and hurt.

'Well that's really sweet. But it doesn't justify what you have done does it, what you've done to me?'

'I know that. I'm sorry!'

'I confided in you, I told how I saw the way he looked at you, you made me think I was wrong! That I was just being paranoid! But I wasn't was I!? I was right! And you made me think I was wrong! To put my trust in him! In You!'

'I wanted us to forget it ever happened. It wasn't fair to you, or to Trunks or even to my boys! I couldn't sacrifice your happiness for mine, it wouldn't be right!' Chichi explained as Bulma panted hard as her tears flowed

'Oh god I feel sick, why would he do this to me?' she cried

'Look when he tried it on with me before I knew it was best if i…..' Bulma looked up and turned at chichi in shock.

'What!? He tried it on before you slept together?!' she yelled as Chichi cursed to herself, why did she say that.

'After my break up with Cain. We were at your house, Vegito and I had a row and things got… heated' chichi blushed a little. Bulma was more than angry now

'I can't believe I'm hearing this!'

'Look it was a moment of madness…..'

'But It wasn't! He was being weird that whole day on the ship and I saw you both talking! You looked so sad and so did he! I wish now I went to see what you were talking about but I was too busy with my friends! And the you fell off the boat and the look of fear on his face when you fell, he had never looked at me that way! He saved you and You went begging for him afterwards!'

'What? Bulma no that is not what it was like…..'

'Liar! You were jealous of us together! You wanted to take what I had! Well it is not happening!'

'I was never jealous!'

'Of course you were! You even tried to make Vegito jealous when you waving around your new toy boy! And look how that turned out for you!'

'I was Serious about Cain! And don't you dare bring him into this discussion, you were the one who was encouraging me to sleep with him when I wasn't sure! I can now see you were only saying that cause you thought I still cared for Vegito and I would tell him!'

'Because Vegito was already with me! I was trying to give you a push out the door!'

'Yeah a door that you would find at the other end of the galaxy!' Chichi yelled

'Well you know maybe it's a good thing Cain got out of your relationship while he could'

'What's that supposed to mean?'

'Because if he'd stayed with you long enough, he probably would have killed himself to get away from you! Just like Goku did!' Bulma yelled. That line. That Cut Chichi deep. And the rise in anger in the fire princess began increasing

'Don't you dare bring Goku into this' Chichi warned as Bulma laughed

'Why? You wallowed in self-pity for all those years, and when Vegito came into our lives, I knew deep down he wanted to come with me anyway, and he did! And we had so much fun making up for lost time' Bulma walked up to her as Chichi kept her cool 'you know that day when you seduced him, you know what he said to me before he left?' she asked as Chichi looked up at her 'He said 'I love you Bulma' and I believe him, I believe he had a moment of weakness, and you took advantage of it because you are a sad little woman who takes what she will never have! And let's be honest, if Vegito had gone home with you that day on the lookout, you would have only just driven him away to the point he wouldn't be able to stand in the same room as you, you are sad and selfish chichi, and Vegito would never look twice at you now that he's seen that sad poor excuse of a body! I can give him what you never can, so take your loss with dignity. And know that Vegito will always come to me in the end, because I am a far better choice then you ever would be. Because we love each other, and I always give him what he wants' Bulma grinned, getting chichi to read the signs. She turned to walk back to her ship as Chichi stood there, not caring about what came out of her mouth next.

'It didn't stop Him Coming back for more though did it!?' Chichi yelled, Bulma stopped in her tracks and her fists clenched, Chichi was pushing her buttons. 'It didn't stop him from coming back, telling me how much he loved me, wanted me! To touch me! And you know what? I'm not sorry!' Chichi yelled, Bulma turned to look at her, angry 'I'm not sorry! Not anymore! I wanted him just as much as he wanted me! It felt good to feel wanted again! To be Loved again! And You can stand there and insult me if it makes you feel any better, but we both know it's just because you were jealous!'

'Me jelo….'

'Yes! Jealous! You said so yourself, you saw how he looked at me! The spark and the love it was all there! You were just trying to ignore it and make him be someone he clearly wasn't happy being with! I know I said I would stay away but you know what? I wanted him! I always wanted him! I just could never say it aloud because that would make me selfish! But hey! I don't care! I didn't care when i kissed him and he touched me and gave me the best feeling I haven't felt in years! And you know what, if he came to me again, begging to give me some love and attention, I would have him in my bed, like THAT!' She snared clicking her fingers on 'That'. Bulma stayed quiet for a moment before slapping chichi across the face, chichi panted and held her face and took a deep breath.

'Okay…. I'll let you have that one, considering what you've gone through'

'What about this one?' Bulma huffed and smacked her other cheek, that made chichi mad!

'No… no that one you're gonna pay for!' Chichi was the first to launch but Bulma dodged her and Chichi landed on the floor beside her, wasting no time Bulma pile dived on Chichi and elbowed her in the back.

'OW!' Chichi huffed as Bulma punched her

'Had enough yet!' Bulma yelled beating on Chichi from behind.

'Enough!? Not until I get my turn' Chichi reached over her back and pulled on Bulma's hair as Bulma yelled out, chichi used the advantage to kick Bulma in the gut as she got to her feet, Bulma tackled her to the ground as she grabbed chichi by her hair, making her hair tie fall out, Giving Bulma more to pull on, Chichi yelled out but Bulma continued her assault, Chichi clenched fist and sent a hard punch to Bulma's nose, resulting it to begin bleeding. Bulma looked down at her blood as Chichi got up panting out of breath.

'You think this will stop me, I am warning you Chichi, I am having Vegito! And there's nothing you can do that's gonna change that! HE LOVES ME!' Bulma screamed

'I know…. But he loves me too' Chichi said in a low tone. Deep down, Bulma knew she was right, but she'd be dammed if she'd let her know that

'Okay, no more Miss Nice girl, you are gonna pay!' Bulma growled

'I don't think so!' Chichi said leaping back at her and they went back to wrestling one over the other. Bulma straddled chichi so she could punch her in the face, Chichi blocked out her punches, for a woman who never did any martial arts training, Bulma was really tough! Chichi rolled her over and grabbed Bulma by the wrists to stop her punching and slapping but Bulma kneed chichi in the stomach and pushed her off her getting to her feet and kicked her hard in the gut! Chichi Grabbed her feet and spun her to the ground making Bulma hit her head pretty hard.

'WHY COULDN'T YOU LEAVE US ALONE!?' Bulma screamed trying to keep fighting her

'I tried but I love him!' Chichi answered back!

'Yeah and so do I! And he loves me!'

'OBVIOUSLY NOT ENOUGH!' Chichi said still punching at her with everything she had. Bulma growled and pinned Chichi down and sent a hard slap to her face and gripping her clothes, ripping the fabric of her dress from her shoulders!

'YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A SAD LITTLE WIDOW WHO TRIED TO TAKE WHAT SHE CAN'T HAVE!?'

'TRIED? I BARELY LIFTED A FINGER AND HE CAME RUNNING TO ME!' Chichi answered back making Bulma scream in rage as chichi and kicked Bulma off her, Bulma went flying in the air and smashed her back into a nearby boulder and rolled down going into a concussion. Chichi got up off the ground with heavy anger breathing she had a bruised check and a few scrapes but nothing to serious or visible at all. Bulma sat up and panted hard as she looked at her former friend.

'You…..*pant* why am I always *pant*….. being compared to you?! What the hell do you…..*pant*….. have….. that I don't! what could you Give that I couldn't?!'

'I…. don't know what to say to you. *pant*….. No matter what, you're never gonna….. *pant*… forgive me'

'Damn Right!'

'But try to understand at least!'

'Oh I Understand! I understand you battered your eyelashes, got yourself hurt to make him come knocking only for you to throw yourself at him because you are dried up old witch!'

'That is not fair!' Chichi yelled as Bulma started laughing

'No your right…..not dried up. Its easier just to say Slut!' Bulma huffed in a low tone. Chichi wasn't gonna get phased by her and shot back

'Yeah? Well let me tell you sweetheart… he wasn't complaining' she winked as Bulma screamed and charged at chichi, Chichi dodged her tackle only for Bulma to quickly turn and kick her on the back of her knees making her fall to the ground. Chichi went to quickly get up but Bulma practically leaped onto chichi and started strangling her like she was insane.

'Bulma…. *Gag* stop it….. *Cough* what are you….. *gag* doing?' Chichi tried to get out of her grip.

'FEEL THIS PAIN, CAUSE LET ME TELL YOU, WHAT YOU AND HE HAVE DONE FEELS EXACTLY LIKE THIS BUT A HUNDERED TIMES OVER! YOU HAVE RUINED EVERYTHING YOU STUPID COW! She screamed in anger.

'Bulma….look!...*Gag* …I'm sorry *Cough* Just Please stop Choking Me!' Chichi said with the little air she could get in.

'NO! YOU HURT ME! NOW YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR IT! I HATE YOU CHICHI!' She gritted through her teeth still chocking The fire princess.

Chichi managed to grab Bulma's wrists and twist them burning Bulma a little, she let her guard down as Chichi kicked her off and got into a fight stance, Bulma charged but Chichi spun away and kicked Bulma in the back making her fall to the ground as Bulma went to get up, chichi got on her to try and hold her down to stop her flipping out so much but to no avail, Bulma was currently driven by anger, jealousy and sadness. A man she thought she could learn to love over time because her own husband was there, had just emotionally shattered her because she knew he couldn't completely want her, because chichi was always gonna be in the picture, Bulma looked at her and wondered what was so special about her! Why was Vegito craving her? Was it just the Goku in him?! Was he taking over and craving to have his wife, or….. was the Vegeta side also attracted to her? She always knew Vegeta had some thought of admiration for Goku's wife. He said she closely resembled sayien women, her strength, her fury, how well she can feed her sayien family and he admitted she was beautiful once. That threw Bulma off, maybe cute or something but beautiful was a strong word for him. She couldn't remember when he complimented his own wife about how beautiful she was, but with chichi it was like it was easy! She knew if she let Vegito go home with Chichi that day on the lookout, she knew it wouldn't be long before they would fall in love, she thought she could get Vegito to love her first! And It worked. But obviously not enough because he was still attracted to chichi! He still went to her, talked to her, tried to confined in her. And even got crazy jealous when chichi tried to move on with Cain! She should have just confronted him sooner but she was so scared of losing him and being alone! But right now all she wanted to do was keep smashing Chichi's face in! She knew it would get her into trouble and it won't do anything to make her feel better, but it was making her feel better.

Bulma managed to flip them over and started pounding chichi hard in the face, smacking her hard in the eye as Chichi punched a hard punch to her cheek cutting it open a little. Bulma got off her and held her face as it bled. Chichi got up off the ground and was leaning forward, they had been fighting for a several minutes and chichi could feel her stomach churning. She had to admit, Bulma could pack a wallop when she was angry, now she knew how Roshi felt when he tried to hit on her. Bulma looked at her, for a spilt second she wanted to just stop and they can just go back to being friends, she remembered how they used to be before Goku even came back for a day, such good friends, maybe the best! Chichi was always there for her when she needed to escape somewhere, When Vegeta was driving her crazy. Not that it happened all the time. No one understood her love for The prince of all sayiens, sure he came across angry and mean and sarcastic but to her, he had changed for the better, for her sake and their son. They fell in love during the 3 years before the androids showed up and it was an experience she never had before, not even with Yamcha. When she heard that Vegeta gave up his life to kill Buu to save her, it broke her. And then she heard about Him coming back, only to be in a fusion form. She wasn't ready to let go of Vegeta so she felt she needed to cling on to anything that came close to him. And now that happiness, that future was being threatened by HER! She looked her in the eye and she couldn't see her friend, she saw a threat to her happiness! Chichi could imagine what was going through her mind because she had thought exactly the same thing! Bulma was angry, and Chichi needed to know just how much! Bulma charged at her again and pulled on her hair hard! Chichi rolled them over as she slapped Bulma in the face and got up as Bulma grabbed her trying to put on the ground again!

'I have had enough grief in my life to let something else hit me like a tone of bricks!' Bulma said as Chichi grabbed both of her arms and threw her to the ground!

'YOU HAD GRIEF?! WHAT DO YOU THINK I WENT THROUGH FOR 7 YEARS!? PURE BLISS?! I WAS WIDOWED AND PREGANAT AND ALONE! BUT I DEALT WITH IT FOR MY KIDS!'

'And now you want to take Vegito away from Trunks! NO! I'm not letting my son lose his dad just so you can have someone on the other side of the bed when you're lonely'

'That isn't what its like! I love him! And it kills me that I couldn't have him, but you know what!? I'm done being nice and selfless. If I want him Bulma…..then I'LL TAKE HIM!'

'KEEP YOUR WHORE HANDS OFF MY MAN!' Bulma was practically throwing a tantrum in the form of brutal violence. This was getting way to bloody as Chichi threw Bulma into the side of her house as Bulma got up and charged at Chichi again, straddling her rib cage and slapped in the face!

'Bulma Get Off Me!' Chichi yelling trying to get Bulma to release her! Bulma punched her in the face as Chichi growled in anger and pain. Chichi tried to fight her off but Bulma held her underneath her.

'You really shouldn't have broken my heart Chichi, you were supposed to be my friend and you couldn't even do that! It's no wonder Goku couldn't love you as much as Vegeta loves me! And soon, Vegito will never want you again!' That was it for Chichi, take it out on her and Vegito fine!
