Chapter 15 – I'm Sorry

'Do it! Hit me! Claim what's yours' Bulma huffed as Chichi shook her fist and yelled out…. And striked!...The ground next to Bulma's head! Chichi couldn't hit her, not anymore. She was Tired from all the aggression, mentally and physically. Chichi got off her and sat on the grass next to her and panted hard.

'I can't Keep doing this Bulma' Chichi huffed and caught her breath, Bulma sat up and looked at her sent another punch to her face to the mouth, cutting her lip. Chichi groaned and sat up again and spat out some blood. She looked at Bulma who just started looking into space 'So you got it all out of your system now?' She asked as Bulma took a deep breath

'Yeah…..Pretty much' she sighed as Chichi looked at her and softly chuckled

'You know….for someone who isn't a martial artist, you sure as hell can throw a punch. I feel bad for Roshi now' She softly joked. Bulma softly smiled but then, she just bawled out crying. Chichi looked at her and felt her own tears build up in her eyes.

'What did I do….to deserve this?' she sobbed

'Nothing! You did nothing!'

'Then why has he hurt me like this?' She cried as Chichi sighed and rested her hand on Bulma's back to soothe her

'Vegito… well, he is probably the most complicated thing you and me have come across in our lives' she sighed as Bulma sniffled and nodded

'I knew he wanted you! I just hated the fact that….. it was always you, like you had something that I didn't!'

'It wasn't like that, that was the Goku in him'

'I know! Because when it's been good between us, I can sense its Vegeta there, like how he used to speak to me, to tease me and love me in his own way, I know he didn't show it a lot but I knew it was there. But then sometimes there were the fights, and he was so mad and I could sense….. that part of him was Goku, trying to tell me what he wanted, I just blocked it out because I thought if I let the Goku part take over, he'd disappear'

'Even if that would have happened, I would have fought the Vegeta side too, because he'd be doing what he could to get through to me to be with you. Either way…. It was never gonna end well for us. They both chose mates for life, Vegito is drawn to both of us as we are to him' Chichi sighed and stroked the scar on her neck, the mark of a sayien Mate. 'I sometimes wished this scar would go away' she said as Bulma looked at her

'The Scar? Why?'

'Because this would be easier wouldn't it? I wouldn't be feeling connected to him, he'd desire you and it would be easier for me to move on with my life.'

'But he didn't mark me, or you, because he already feels like he has, in another life'

'In other bodies. I know I said I will always love Goku but he sure as hell knows how to screw me over'

'But you still find a way to love him, despite everything. Because your strong'

'So are you. Vegeta really hit the jackpot with you' Chichi gave her a nudge as Bulma chuckled through her tearful sniffles

'You know….. when Goku told Me Vegeta was dead, I felt so much pain, because….. I had never felt that much love for anyone in my life. I mean I cared about Yamcha yes but…. when Vegeta came into my life it was like something drew us together. And I felt good! And then he died to save me and Trunks and I….. I couldn't tell him how much that meant to me. And then Vegito shows up and I saw a part of him there and I… I wasn't ready to let go of him, so much that…. I sacrificed your chance to be with any shred of Goku you could have had' Bulma cried. Chichi nodded understanding exactly what that felt like.

'We were both so confused that day, I know I was. I just thought that…. Life just didn't want me to be with Goku again. That it was what I deserved'

'You never deserved that, what you went through, and I should never have used your past to hurt you and I'm sorry'

'You were angry. I would have done the same, this past year hasn't been easy on either of us.' Chichi sighed as Bulma wiped her tears away

'Do you think our lives would have been any different if we married humans?' Bulma asked as Chichi thought about it.

'Well… you forget, I thought Goku was human at first, a crazy kind of human but still human. And when I found out he wasn't…. it didn't make me feel any different in my love for him, in fact, I think it made us closer because I understood him more.'

'I thought When I met Yamcha, that was it, but as time went on…. I felt more friendship than love and I realised it wasn't what I wanted, but I met Vegeta and…'

'It was like a whole new world. A world where you fell in love with an alien' Chichi finished 'Our lives would be different if we married humans, yes! But nowhere near as this exciting'

'I wouldn't exactly call our situation exciting' Bulma sighed as chichi nodded in agreement

'No. But you gotta admit, it would be kinda boring' Chichi joked as Bulma softly chuckled

'Yeah, you're right about that' she smiled as Chichi looked at her and frowned a little

'I'm sorry' she said as Bulma looked at her and softly smiled

'Yeah….. me too'

'I know I hurt you, and I tried so hard to keep away from him. I threw myself into my business, being there for the boys, and I met Cain and… I thought I was finally gonna be okay. But then when he was there, looking at me, everything I was trying to block out was coming back, all that anger and hurt and lust and love it was all there and I held back because I knew it was wrong, but at the same time….it was normal because, the person he was before, was there! And I just wanted to be close to him again, for just a few precious moments, I wanted my Goku Back. Because I've missed him so much' Chichi then began to cry, hiding her face into her knees and curled into a ball crying. Bulma felt a lot of guilt wash over her. She never planned this, she never wanted this! It was all wrong, and so unfair. She soothed Chichi by rubbing her back letting her have a good cry.

'I never wanted any of this. I thought everything would be okay after the whole stuff with Buu. And Vegito showed up and I thought we could adapt to life like this but… all its done is hurt you, hurt me and if we're not careful, our kids will get hurt in all of this too, and I don't want that for Trunks' She exclaimed as Chichi leaned up and wiped her flowing tears away

'I don't want it for Gohan or Goten either. So what are we gonna do Bulma?' Chichi asked as Bulma looked at her, she smiled and held her hand.

'I was so scared of losing the man that I loved that….. I didn't realise I was also hurting my best friend in the process. Right now, All I want to do is tell you how sorry I am, I was selfish, I should never have asked you to let Vegito stay with me.' Bulma cried as Chichi scooted closer to her to give her a hug

'I'm sorry I went behind your back, I just missed him so much. But I missed you too!' She cried, Bulma wrapped her arms around chichi, 2 friends reconciling their friendship once again

'I'm also sorry for calling you a cow' Bulma added as Chichi laughed through her tears, Chichi pulled away as they sat there looking over the view

'You realise we can't carry on like this right?' Chichi asked as Bulma nodded

'Yeah I know. So we gotta do something. But no matter what we decide, from now on, we are honest with eachother, and support eachother' Bulma stated, with chichi in agreement, suddenly a few familiar faces landed outside the house as they walked over to the two ladies

'Hey mom we…. Oh My Dende! Mom Are You Okay?!' Goten ran to his mother's side as did trunks. Gohan and Vegito stood there in shock at how battered up they both looked

'Mom! What happened?' Trunks asked as Bulma and Chichi looked over at Vegito who stood there in shock, Bulma Gave him an angry and hurt look and he knew then that She Knew what he did!

'Goten, I need you and trunks to go to the lookout.'

'We need to talk to your dad about something' Bulma added

'But mom…..'

'Goten! Please!' Chichi said sternly as Goten nodded, Trunks wasn't sure but Bulma insisted him to go, the 2 young boys took off into the sky, Leaving the 2 women, Vegito and Gohan.

'Gohan you go too' Vegito ordered

'No way, I wanna know what's happened! Have you both been attacked or something, who did this to you both?!' Gohan asked as Bulma and Chichi looked at eachother, Gohan was confused for a moment and then it hit him 'Wait…..you fought eachother? Why would you do that?!' He asked As Bulma turned to Vegito

'Ask him' She huffed as Gohan looked at his father

'Dad…..?' Gohan was very confused, Vegito stayed silent as Bulma huffed

'Fine, if you won't, I will! Your dad, and your mum… had a reunion' she said as Gohan was confused, then he saw how shameful his mother looked, and how flustered his dad looked, then It hit him, Gohan felt a blush run on his face.

'Mom…..and you?!...I…..Ahh!' Gohan didn't want that image in his head

'Bulma. I'm sorry…..' Vegito was cut off

'Which part? Going behind my back or letting me believe that you loved me?'

'I do Love you!'

'So much that you slept with Chichi! You love her too don't you?!' Bulma asked as Vegito looked at Chichi, who looked so sad and worn out, more mentally than physically, Vegito felt his headaches rush up again

'I do love her…..' he whispered as Chichi sighed hard

'Vegito we can't carry on like this, what we did, we hurt Bulma. I told you I didn't want to be put in that position ever, but now I am, and she knows and she's hurt. But now that it's all out in the open, we are sorting this here and now!' Chichi stated

'What do you mean?' Vegito asked

'Vegito, You need to make a choice, right now!' She answered as Bulma continued

'Either you come back with me, and I'll put all of this mess behind us and try to move on. Or…. You can stay here, and be with Chichi. Whoever you decide, I won't or she won't fight it, We'll find a way to move past this like adults. But I am not gonna be second best to anyone' Bulma huffed as Chichi nodded in agreement

'Yeah. Or you walk away….. from both of us. That way we can all move on with our lives' Chichi added as Vegito frowned

'That isn't an option'

'Then you have a choice to make! Its either me…Or Chichi!' Bulma huffed as Vegito looked between the two women he desired, how could they expect him to make such a choice! He looked at Bulma, the beautiful scientist he had let down and thought about how good she had been to him since his return, how kind and caring she was and so loving and giving she was when it came to their bedroom activates, she was amazing and he loved her so much. And then he looked to chichi, women he had desired for months on end and was given a chance to have her properly now, she was special, and strong and he wanted to love her all over again and give her the attention she deserved. He looked back to Bulma then at chichi, just like the dream….the face kept changing! It was one or the other! He couldn't choose! He loved them both too much!

'I can't choose!' He yelled as they both looked at him

'Well you're gonna have to! Because we can't carry on like this!' Bulma yelled

'Yeah! And I refuse to hurt anyone I care about again!' chichi added

'You Think I'm Not Hurting!?'

'You made this choice! Both of you when you decided to join together! So now you gotta deal with the fall back! Because neither one of us will be second best to the other! We deserve better than that!' Chichi yelled

'I know!'

'So what are you gonna do about it!?' Bulma yelled

'I DON'T KNOW!'

'Then you don't get either of us! I'm sorry but I refuse to be part of this any longer! It isn't fair, I don't want to hurt anymore' chichi huffed

'Oh its always about you two isn't it?! What you want?!'

'Well it has to be! Because you won't tell us what you want! Or who you want! What else can we do!?' Bulma yelled

'I HATE THIS! I KNOW WHO I WANT AND THAT'S BOTH YOU OF YOU!'

'YOU CAN'T HAVE BOTH!' The two screamed in anger and hurt

'Guys calm down!' Gohan tried to keep the peace!

'I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE! I HATE IT! I….AHHHHHH!' Vegito held is head in pain and collapsed on the floor, Bulma, chichi and Gohan ran over to him as he rolled in pain!

'Vegito!' Chichi called out

'Dad! Say something' Gohan called out

'I can't do this! Its too much! I want Chichi!' He called out, but there was something different in his voice. It sounded like…..

'Goku!?' Chichi gasped

'Back off Kakarott, we agreed we would choose Bulma, deal with it!' he spoke again, in a different voice!

'Vegeta?!' Bulma gasped, the two sayiens were talking between themselves in the body, his face shifted between their classic facial expressions. Like spilt personality disorder!

'Get out of my Head Vegeta!' 'You get out of mine!' Vegito kept roaring as Goku and Vegeta, he suddenly went super sayien! Feeling them both fight in his own mind, it was having an effect of how he behaved in physical form! He vibrated his whole body, making the ground beneath them shake and cracks emerge in the ground! He was losing control! Bulma lost her balance and was fell between the opened cracks in the earth

'AHHHHHHH'

'BULMA!' Gohan panicked

'NIMBUS!' Chichi called out as Nimbus flew down in less than a second as Chichi hopped on and flew down to save her, She grabbed Bulma by the hand as she pulled her back up into the sky as Vegito continued to loose control!

'Gohan What's happening to him!?' Bulma asked as Gohan hovered in the sky looking down at his father

'I don't know! I think he's been able to hold back till now, He's losing control over his Body, Both dad and Vegeta are fighting for it!' he explained as Vegito created more cracks in the ground, making them stretch a few miles away from the valley

'If he keeps this up he'll destroy the nearest cities!' Bulma yelled

'Gohan! Do something to make him stop!' Chichi ordered as Gohan powered up to super sayien and flew down at lighting speed and sent a hard hit to the back of Vegito's head, Vegito suddenly stopped and collapsed on the ground, but he looked in pain, he could feel both sayiens still fighting in his mind! He was in so much pain! Bulma and chichi hopped of nimbus and ran to his aid, both feeling extremely guilty now they pushed him to this. Gohan looked over his dad and the destruction he caused and was concerned

'This isn't right' Gohan gasped

'What do we do? He needs help!' Bulma called out as Gohan thought about

'Gohan….?' Chichi asked as Gohan snapped his fingers

'We'll take him to the Old kai, he might know what to do!' Gohan answered as the girls nodded, the needed to help Vegito somehow, and right now, the Kais were the best bet.

Gohan had arrived at the Kais Planet as Kiboto Kai tended to Vegito to keep him comatose in case he went crazy again, the supreme Kai studied Vegito's physical form, and sensed the distress, he frowned and looked concerned.

'What is it my dear Kai? is he going to be alright?' Kiboto Kai asked as The elder kai shook his head, he went over to Gohan, Chichi and Bulma who stood back hoping Vegito was gonna be okay.

'I'm afraid his physical body is failing' he said as the girls gasped

'Wha….. what do you mean?' Bulma asked

'I never seen anything like this before but it isn't unheard of, it seems that the 2 minds, both as strong as the other have been trying to take control over the body, when one half of the mind is in control, it seems to cause the other half to self-destruct in response, thus causing damage and destruction in his path. I thought when Goku and Vegeta would fuse it would mean peace to the world, I wasn't considering what it would do to his peace of mind. They are both tearing the body apart from the inside, Pretty soon….. he's going to be destroyed' The older Kai explained, Gohan gasped and panted. He was gonna lose his dad all over again!? Bulma and Chichi felt their tears flow as Kiboto Kai looked shocked, poor Vegito. He was dying.

'This is our fault' Chichi cried as Bulma looked at her

'What?'

'We did this! We've been so wrapped up in what we wanted we weren't even thinking about what it was doing to him' Chichi cried

'I knew he was having a few nightmares and headaches, I thought that was just the guilt'

'But its not! He's in pain! They both can't stay connected anymore, they're too strong for the body'

'And there we were, not giving a damn about it because we were arguing about who should have him as their mate! God we are awful people, and now he's gonna die again!' Bulma cried as Chichi looked at Vegito and frowned, she turned to the Old kai.

'No! There must be something we can do! Anything at all to save him' Gohan yelled

'I'm afraid not'

'What about the dragonballs?!' Bulma asked

'As I told him before, Kai power is incredibly strong, the magic of the dragonballs is far too weak to overpower magic so ancient.'

'Well maybe Shenron, but…. What about Porunga?!' Gohan asked as the girls looked up 'The old nameks may be able to, their just as ancient and Porunga is far more powerful! Maybe that could work! We just need to go to Namek!' Gohan suggested as The Young fused Kai shook his head

'I'm afraid that will not work Gohan' he said as everyone turned to him

'Well why not?' Chichi asked

'When I fused with Kiboto, I visited Namek myself to see if anything could be done about my own fusion, but I was informed that the poturra earrings were far too powerful to be undone, even to a namekien's limits, I'm just as trapped as this being as Goku and Vegeta are in their being' Kiboto Kai explained as Bulma fell to her knees

'No Dammit….!'

'I'm sorry ladies, but as I warned Goku and Vegeta before the fusion, once they put those earrings on, nothing can undo it!'

'Even if it means the fusion would still kill him!?' Bulma yelled as he nodded

'Please, there has to be something or someone that knows a way to undo the fusion!'

'My dear please listen…..'

'No! You listen to me! Now I may not be a fighter anymore and I know I have been a nagging, annoying, pushy housewife since I married Goku, but that is only because everything I do, I have done it out of Love for him! I have worried about him all the time because I don't know what I would do without him in my life! because he is good! And kind! And so so brave! He would do anything to protect the people he loves and I want to follow his example! If it was me lying there he would be travelling to the depths of the universe to help me, because that's the kind of man he is! And I wish to do the same! No matter what it'll take! So I am asking you Please! To Help me!' Chichi stated. Bulma nodded and added on

'I know Vegeta has made mistakes in his life, some he deeply regrets, I know because I can sense it in him, I love him so much! And I have never needed someone as much I need him! He has been through so much in his life and yes he has made terrible choices but when we met I knew I saw the good in him! And I was right! He sacrificed his life for me and our son and I thought I would never feel that much hurt again, and I don't want that for him, or my boy. I want to do whatever I can to make sure he is alive and well, because that is all I care about now. The only thing that matters is helping him fight this! So please! If you know of any way to make that happen, Tell us now!' Bulma yelled as the old Kai sighed and shook his head

'I'm sorry ladies, I can't help you'

'Nothing at all? Please there must be someone! Anyone!' Chichi called out as he shook his head, the girls felt defeated, they were gonna loose him! Kiboto Kai was struggling to hold back what he wanted to say but he couldn't hold it any longer

'There is someone!' He yelled, the girls and Gohan looked up as the older Kai frowned

'You bite Your tongue!' He huffed

'I'm sorry, but they need to know all the options!'

'There's an option?!'

'Tell us! Who can help!?' Chichi yelled

'NOPE! Absolutely not! I refuse to let you wonder down a dangerous path!'

'I don't care! if it means there's a way to help him then I'll take it!' Chichi yelled

'Me too!' Bulma turned to the Young Kai 'TALK!'

'There is a way, that Vegito can be separated, back to who he was before, to Goku and Vegeta' he said as the girls gasped, was it possible?

'Okay…..well what is it?' Gohan asked

'I must warn you, this is extremely dangerous, and there will be a price to pay, you must understand that. But I know of someone, who has the power to undo the power of the Kai's. He is the only surviving member of his family and only he can undo the power of the fusion'

'Then tell us! Who is this guy?'

'This will be dangerous; you both must understand! There will be a price to pay!'

'If it means Vegito will survive then I'll do whatever it takes! No matter the price!' Chichi yelled

'Just tell us! What is this guy's name?' Bulma yelled as the Young Kai looked to them both

'Bobbidi, Babidi's Younger Brother'
