Chapter 16 – A Deal With The Devil

'B…Bobbidi?' Chichi asked as Kiboto Kai nodded

'Wait…as in his brother of Babidi….the one who brought Majjin Buu into our lives, thus putting us into the situation to Begin With!' Bulma yelled

'Yes, only he would know how to undo the magic of the Kais'

'And he would be able to separate Vegito back?'

'Yes I believe he can'

'NOPE! FORGET IT! YOU BOTH WILL NOT VENTRUE ANYWHERE NEAR THAT CREEPY WIZARD! He is almost just as bad as the rest of his family!' The old Kai huffed and turned to the young Kai 'And you should know better, his brother brought Majjin Buu into this world and destroyed Your fellow supreme Kais! Or have you forgotten about them already!?'

'Of course Not. But I never fought to get them back, and I won't make these two lose out either, we have to try My dear Kai, Vegito can't stay like this because he will die! Neither of us want that do we? Otherwise you gave your life away just for it to be lost again!' Kiboto Kai exclaimed as The elder Kai looked at him and huffed. He was right of course, he didn't like it but he was right, he looked to the two wives and could see they were not gonna be talked out of it, that stubbornness and determination in their eyes, he could see why Goku and Vegeta chose them.

'Very well. But it doesn't mean I like or agree with this. But go ahead' He huffed and sat down

'Bobbidi is Almost as powerful as his older brother and holds great magic within him, strong enough to undo the power of the Kais, maybe even create his own being like Buu'

'Is he much of a threat, Like Babbidi?' Bulma asked

'Well considering Buu was the one who killed Babbidi and now he is good, there is no telling'

'I don't like this' Gohan said

'What?' Bulma asked

'Babbidi was dangerous, who know what his brother will be like! I can't imagine this will end well!'

'Whatever it takes, we need to try all our options. Where do we find him?' Chichi asked

'I can take you to his lair, but I will not venture in there with you. I'm sorry but the Kais are never safe in those realms' Kiboto Kai expressed sadly and regretfully

'You won't ask him to have yourself separated?' Gohan asked as he shook his head

'I will not, Not to him personally, but that is my choice. If you wish to venture there and risk it all then I will not stop you. Besides, I am contempt with my fusion' Kiboto Kai bowed

'Its okay, taking us there will be enough. Thank You' Chichi assured him

'I'm going too!' Gohan said

'No! You need to go back to earth, stay with the boys' Chichi said

'And let you go alone!? No!'

'Gohan listen to me! If there is a way to save Goku and Vegeta, this has to be me and Bulma who do it!'

'I can't let you do this!' Gohan argued

'Are Your saying you'd listen to someone who denied you to save Videl? If it was her?' Bulma said as Gohan went quiet, of course not! There was nothing that would stop him from saving Videl. Chichi held his hands and smiled at him.

'You saved him before. This time …. It has to be me. Let me do this' Chichi whispered. Gohan knew there was no way to talk her out of it. He gave her a hug and whispered

'good luck, Bring him home'

'I promise, whatever it takes' she gave him a kiss on the cheek as he turned to Bulma

'Be careful! Both of you'

'We will' Bulma nodded as the young demi sayien returned back to earth safely. Hoping things would go their way! It had to!

'So what are we waiting for?' Bulma said

'HOLD IT!' The old Kai huffed and walked to them 'I don't agree with your plan but I will not let you go empty handed. You!' he pointed to Bulma and magical up a sword for her 'This was crafted by very powerful gods, far more powerful than myself and hold great power within, be careful who you aim for as the sword will trap their souls inside for all eternity' He said as Bulma gasped. She swung it around a little, it felt as light as a feather to grasp 'Oh yes as light as feather but as hard as dragon claws! And you' he pointed to Chichi

'I don't need weapons…..' she declined

'I know you don't, you were once a martial artist, Goku told me. But you can't go there dressed in that, you must be ready for whatever comes your way, in the right attire of course' He magiced up a strong Gi for Chichi to wear, and to her surprise, it resembled her old fighting Gi she wore to the martial arts tournament back when she and Goku got engaged, only it was a purple Gi with red outlining the dress and red leggings with Dark purple boots and her hair tied back in a ponytail and purple wristbands, it was weighted but Chichi had no issues wearing it.

'Not bad' Bulma grinned

'Thanks' Chichi smiled and threw some punches and kicks into the air, breaking in the new Gi. She looked over at an unconscious Vegito, and wondered what he would think. She and Bulma walked over to him and comforted him as he slept with an uncomfortable look on his face, he was still in pain. Bulma held his hand softly as Chichi stoked his face and leaned in to whisper to him

'Its gonna be okay, I'm gonna save you… I promise, I love you' She whispered and kissed his forehead as Bulma added

'Your gonna be okay. We won't rest till you're okay again, and here with us where you both belong!' She kissed his cheek and left him in the care of the old Kai. They looked to the other, with a confident nod

'We're ready' They both said as The grabbed Kiboto Kai's arm as he transported them to another location.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!

'Whoa!' Bulma wobbled a little

'Where are we?' Chichi asked

'Bobbidi's lair' Kai pointed as the girls looked upon the dark fortress, located at the other end of the solar system on a lost forgotten planet. The air around them was like they were in space but with gravity holding them in place! The stars looked so much bigger and a couple of planets circling the orbit of the planet. They looked upon the dark fortress, it was a strong idea of what hell would look like should they ever go there. The lair looked like a large black ruin, similar to the other structures within the realm, but can be distinguished by the presence of a door. The interior is very dark and barren. Lightning will occasionally strike the centre of the room, illuminating the jagged walls.

'Whoa!' Bulma gasped gripping her sword a little tighter

'So I guess we go in there?' Chichi asked

'I must leave you both here now. I will not venture anywhere near this place, Kais are not welcomed here'

'Its okay, You've done enough' Bulma nodded

'Go Back, Look after Vegito for us' Chichi added as he nodded

'Be careful Both of you, remember what we told you, Bobbidi will ask for a price, be prepared to pay it, whatever it may be' With that, Kiboto Kai disappeared, leaving the two girls on their own.

'Okay, so I guess we're doing this?' Bulma said as Chichi put on a brave face

'Yeah! We have to! For Vegito' She said confidently as Bulma drew the sword and nodded

'For Vegito' with that, they both arrived at the entrance to the lair, they arrived inside and it was just darkness, they felt around and it felt cold and damp and the walls made of stone

'Hey, you think this guy will really help us with having Goku and Vegeta back? Or do you think he'll turn us away?' Bulma asked

'Turning away isn't an option now, I don't know what the price Is but I refuse to let Goku suffer in that body any longer than he deserves, this Bobidi is our best bet' Chichi answered

'Yeah but if a guy like this is considered all powerful and stuff, why would he choose to live in a place like this, if he's all powerful with magic and stuff, you'd think he would conjure up a place a little more luxurious' As Bulma was talking, behind them there was a bird sitting on a rotten old tree watching them. It has two pairs of red eyes, watching the two women closely, as they remained oblivious

'Maybe he prefers this, We never knew where Babidi sprouted from, what planet he and his family were born on, Maybe this is their home. Maybe this is where they're from.' Chichi answered

'Definitely creepy enough.' Bulma whispered as they heard faint whispers in the darkness

'Turn back.' The Voices whispered, they sounded feminine and almost childlike! Creepy! The Girls pivot for a look behind them, trying to locate the speaker.

'Like I was saying...' Bulma whimpered

'Turn back.' The voice spoke again. They looked across the path to a rocky arch. Perched on it are three small black birds, each of which shows a pair of large red eyes. One at a time, they repeat the two-word instruction and continue under the next line. Chichi looked at them a little unnerved as Bulma smiled

'Awww Sweet! They're like little children talking! Betcha they can tell us how to Find Bobbidi' She said walking over to them

'Careful. How do we know they're not a threat?!' Chichi asked as Bulma turned to look at her

'Hel-lo? Remember me? Bulma? Intelligent scientist?! If they were dangerous, I'd know.' She gloated as Chichi is not a bit convinced that this Chick knows what she is doing. Said scientist turns to the arch and adopts the sort of tone one might use with a small kitten.

'Hey, little guys. My Friend and I were wondering if…..?' Bulma Tilted her head up to the arch on the end of this; the birds are gone. When she tilts her head down again, five of them have gathered at her feet.

'Turn back' is repeated over and over during a pan across them in close-up. The beaks suddenly elongate and sprout small sharp teeth, and each eye splits into two smaller ones to match the Big Bird seen earlier. Their snarls are met with a surprised cry from Bulma, who turns and runs smack into Chichi; the two of them are suddenly attacked by a bunch of them clawing and biting them!

The birds, now multiplied into a flock of ravenous birds of pray, fly past Chichi and aiming at Bulma, Bulma draws out her sword and swings at some of them, but keeps missing them as they fly circles around her, Bulma then sees two in the reflection of the sword and quickly swings behind them as they fall to the ground with their heads cut off! Bulma grins but she's quickly pushed to the ground by another 3 as they begin to pick at her back as she yells out! Chichi covering her head as they pick at her too!

'Get them off me! Get them off me! Cut it out!' She yells then when one picks at her shoulder she yells out and grabs it by the throat and throws it towards another 3 as they flock again and charge at her, Chichi gets into a stance and gathers up energy in her body and throws a small blast at them, Not a Kamehameha but was still effective enough to roast those stupid birds alive! She grins and sees some still attacking Bulma and sends another couple of blasts in their direction as they all move of Bulma, Chichi quickly helps Bulma to her feet, grabbing the sword as they start to run away on the path, more of the dark bird swarm together and fly down towards them, Chichi and Bulma reach the end of the path and come across the door, they quickly open it and enter as the birds are about to strike, they shut the door behind them and see their beaks had pierced through the door and they begin to squawk to break free! Bulma and Chichi pant hard, catching their breath

'Yeah! How do you like that stupid birdies?!' Bulma huffed as Chichi looked at the room they stood in. In the middle of the room stands a pedestal where a selection of crystal balls were located in a large well in the ground, they all glowed and strange and faint noises could be heard from them. Atop the centre there was a large throne, and above the throne there lay a picture, they looked upon the picture and the recognised a face, and not a friendly one!

'Is that…. Babidi?' Chichi asked

'It looks like him! And That must be his father' Bulma pointed to the other being in the middle of the picture, no doubt it was Bibidi. And there on the left side of the father's side, was a smaller being, who looks much like Babidi only he had red skin and wore green robes and his eyes squinted more and a dark grin across his face much like his father's and brother's.

'No doubt…. That's who we're looking for' Chichi frowned

'Right! But where is he?' Bulma asked as they looked around the candle lit hall. Suddenly all the candles blew out! Leaving the two women in the darkness. Bulma drew out her sword as Chichi got into a fighting stance, They moved closer to the well where the crystal balls gave a low faint lighting. They could hear whispers in the darkness then a large booming Voice shouted Above them!

'INTRUDERS….IN MY…..HOME…!?' The voice was much like Babidi's, only much higher in tone, and much more sinister. The two girls looked at the other and went back to back to the other ready to defend themselves and each other!

'Are you Bobbidi?!' Chichi called out as the voice Laughed in the darkness. Suddenly the candles lit up again and the girls turned to the throne to see the Being siting there, looking at them both, Smirking.

'It has been a long time since anyone has been brave enough to enter the home of my family, You both must be desperate' He grinned and got up, Chichi remained in her stance as Bulma clenched the sword a little tighter in her hand.

'Are You Bobbidi!?' Bulma yelled as he looked at her

'I am. And you are Bulma Briefs, Daughter of a Scientist, wife of a Sayien' He grinned as Bulma gasped, he then turned to Chichi 'And you, are Son Chichi. Daughter of a King, Wife to a sayien' He smirked, Chichi lowered her stance as he Looked to them both, grinning mischievously.

'How do you know who we are?!' Chichi asked

'I know all who enter my domain'

'Than you know why we're here' Bulma asked as he grinned at them

'I do…KILL THEM' He roared, as he sat back on his throne and the ground began to rumble around them and out of a large hidden gate out emerged a very large bearlike creature with violent green eyes and wide, snarling mouth. One of the jagged teeth has a piece of material caught in it, and as the beast advances, we can see it clearly: a piece of human flesh or some form of flesh. A lunge fills the screen with the mouth's drooling making the girls shudder and gasp

'WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!' Bulma shrieked as Chichi got into a fighting stance

'WHO CARES! ITS GROSS AND ATTACKING!' Chichi yells as the creature jumped toward them, With Bobbidi watching on grinning. Bulma draws her sword.

Both physically and psychologically floored by what she is looking at, Getting herself under control in very short order, she leaps far and away, out of this new creature's reach. Its six legs propel it forward with surprising speed Chichi jumps in front of her and sends a punch to its stomach, whacking it back!

'What the hell do we do chi?!' Bulma asked as Chichi formed her red Ki around her body

'We fight!' She answered with the creature getting up as it charges again. Chichi catches the beast with a flying tackle, and both go tumbling across the ground and over a flight of stairs. Down they go, bouncing off one step after another, and Chichi finds herself glued to the chest by its slimy secretions. Crash, boom, bang, and then they hit a boulder at the bottom of the stairs formation and get stretched in opposite directions, anchored to the same patch of slime. Chichi sends a blast as its leg gets cut open. Chichi runs back up the stairs covered in slime, Bulma looks to her worried

'This is so disgusting' Chichi shuddered as The monster hits chichi from behind but she gets herself into a more controlled slide and winds up on a small outcropping at the foot. She stays on it for only an instant, though; a flying kick lances toward the green monster, but her foot gets mired in that sludge. Both fists end up stuck when she tries to punch; as it tries to chow down on her, she brings up her one free foot and shoves hard enough to yank herself off. The holes in the abdomen seal themselves up; this thing is literally a walking sack of goop, and it charges anew Ready to eat her!

'Uhhh Bulma a little help!' She yelled as Bulma draws her sword, a little scared.

'Hey Chichi… If I ever complain about a mission not being exciting enough...' Bulma was cut off

'I'll punch you so hard, you'll beg me to kick you.' Chichi answered as the creature was close to devouring her as Bulma softly chuckled

'I was going to say, "Remind me of this moment," but that works too!' Bulma grinned as she ran towards the creature sword in hand, The creature was about to eat chichi until the sharp Kai sword Swings into the back of the creature as he roars and chichi used the advantage of his wound to send a huge Ki blast through it's body, releasing herself from the slime and leaped back away from the creature as it roared and whined in pain then it collapsed the ground, a small mist forms over the creature as it hovered over the sword and was absorbed by the sword, its soul was now trapped inside! Chichi gasped as she saw as Bulma examined the sword and looked over the dead creature on the ground. She couldn't help but feel a little guilty, but better him than them she supposed. She walked over to Chichi and helped her up as chichi smiled softly, thanking her for saving her life.

'Very impressive' Bobidi grinned as Bulma aimed her sword over at the wizard.

'You give us another monster to fight! And I will lose it!' Bulma warned

'I only wanted to see how far you'd go to get what you want, now I know. You both must be desperate to come here'

'YOU KNOW WE ARE!' Bulma yelled

'Oh I do' he said getting up from his throne and walking across the hall to them both

'We're here to ask for your help' Chichi said

'Yes… you people always are, so why don't you tell me what it is you want of me?' He asked as the two looked to the other as Bulma stood forward

'We were told, you can undo any power made by the Kais, is that right?' She asked as He looked into the mirror grinning.

'I can, But what kind of power of the Kais you wish for me to undo?'

'A fusion' Bulma answered

'Hmmm….a tough power indeed.'

'We have come to ask you to undo the Fusion between our husbands, Goku and Vegeta.' Chichi asked as he looked to them and frowned

'This being was the reason that my brother's creation, majjin Buu is dead, am I correct?' He asked as they looked to the other and nodded

'Yes' they answered

'Why should I help you?'

'Why wouldn't you?' Bulma asked

'That Sayien Is the reason My brother was killed'

'You're wrong!' Chichi huffed

'You're so sure of that statement'

'Your brother's own creation sealed his fate!'

'Is that right?'

'Yes! Vegito didn't kill your brother! Majjin Buu did that! Vegito only fused because that monster was gonna destroy us all a hundred times over! You included if he had the chance!' Chichi answered

'Hmmmm….. perhaps you are right…' he said looking to his well of crystal balls

'Look, we're only asking you to help him! He is in pain; this fusion is too much for both of them to stay in one body! Please if we don't help him, he will die! He'll end up killing himself!' Chichi leaded as he looked to her grinning

'Yes, I sense his distress. So sad, a waste of two souls it would seem'

'But you can change him back to them both right, undo the power of the Pottura earrings!?' Bulma asked

'I can, but that is a lot of energy to muster. And my gifts do not come cheap you know?' He answered as Chichi looked to Bulma and spoke out

'We understand a price will need to be paid, I'm prepared to pay any cost'

'Me too!' Bulma added

'You say that, but you don't know what it is I will ask, are you sure your prepared to keep that promise?' he asked grinning as Chichi and Bulma looked unnerved, he then picked up one of his crystal balls and brought it over to them 'Do you know what this is?' he asked

'A crystal ball?' Bulma asked

'Oh yes, a powerful crystal ball, I was given this…. when the wife of one of strongest fighters came to my cave, destroyed the same monster you fought today, and pleaded for me to spare the life of the man she loved, who was dying of an illness given to him when he was bitten by a creature that was so venomous, it had the strength to kill 100 beings. She begged me to save him, for a price. In doing so, I spared his life. And now…she is bound to me' he grinned as the girls looked closely into the crystal ball and saw a woman banging on the inside as if wishing to be released, they gasped and looked at the wizard!

'You stole her soul!?' Chichi asked angry

'One soul to save another! That is the price I ask! And now, that I have her in my grasp and can easily destroy her, he will do my bidding' he answered as he threw it back into the well. Bulma and Chichi looked inside, that was so cruel!

'You threaten their lives and have others do your dirty work for you!?' Chichi clenched her fists

'You'd be amazed on the things people would do for a weak emotion like love. Its good really! Because you can accomplish so much' he grinned

'That's evil!' Bulma frowned

'And that is not your problem! You have your own problem now, being…. what will you decide to do now?' he grinned as Bulma and Chichi looked to the other.

'What do you want of us?' Bulma asked

'You wish for me to save the souls of your husbands. I will do so…. for the price of two souls.'

'We won't give up two innocent souls!'

'Not just any souls…Yours!' He smirked as they gasped 'Imagine, me having two of the strongest sayien's under my rule! Now that would be very interesting! Two stronger fighters than that ridiculous Majjin Buu Character'

'As If Goku and Vegeta would do Your bidding!' Bulma yelled

'You sure about that?' He smirked as Bulma looked unnerved, Chichi put on a brave face and stepped forward

'Take mine! Let Bulma leave here and return home, my soul to Save Vegito's'

'Chichi No!' Bulma yelled

'You wish for me to return two souls! That price requires two more in return! No more! No Less!' He yelled as Chichi huffed, Bulma turned her back away as Chichi did so too.

'What do we do?' Bulma asked

'I….i know what I need to do' Chichi sighed

'Chichi let's think about this! If we give in, He'll have Goku and Vegeta under his rule! We can't let that happen! Who knows what he'd ask them to do!'

'And if we don't they'll die in that body and we'll lose him anyway!'

'But what if he's lying? How do we know he'll keep his word?' Bulma asked

'Oh I will, You see when a wizard makes a deal, he's bound to keep it' he yes as he drew out a dagger and sliced his hand drawing blood and placing droplets into a nearby fountain as it began to make a whirlpool. 'If you both agree to the terms, You must also draw Blood and make your request and place your blood into the whirlpool with mine, thus sealing the deal' He grinned as Chichi and Bulma looked at the other worried and defeated.

'I guess fate really doesn't want me and Goku to find a way back to each other, either one of us has to sacrifice themselves to save the other' Chichi said taking out one of her hair pins

'Chichi…. I'm scared. But I know this is the right thing to do, we have to save them' Bulma sighed as Chichi nodded agreeing.

'They would do this for us, who would we be if we couldn't do the same?'

'How touching! Do We have a deal Ladies?' Bobidi asked grinning, Chichi looked at him frowning and stabbing her hand with the hair pin, she groaned in pain but dug deep enough to draw blood and releasing some droplets into the whirlpool

'I wish for Goku to be himself again! Release him from the Kai's Fusion!' She said as Bulma took the pin out of Chichi's hand and sighed. She knew she wanted to save Vegeta and hoped he would understand what she would do was to save him. She cut her own hand and also dropped the into the whirlpool and whispered to herself

'I wish for Vegito to separate! Bring Vegeta back to his own self' she said as she dropped the blood in, giving the hair pin back to Chichi. Bobidi looked on and began to laugh manically as the whirlpool began to make a huge wave and bursts of energy began to emerge and surround the two sayien Wives!

'AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!' Both Chichi and Bulma felt their existence disappearing and their souls being dragged into the two clear crytal balls sitting in a nerby chest, Bulma dropped the sword to the ground as chichi let go of her hair pin that Goku gave her the last birthday they had together before Cell showed up! In a flash, The two girls were gone! The two crystal balls were now glowing up; their souls were now trapped for all eternity! Bobidi looked to them and grinned, adding them to his selection of souls in the well! He grinned and sighed.

'Well, I suppose a deals a deal' he said and conjured up his power

Back on the Kai world, The elder Kai was tending to his dinner for himself and Kiboto Kai as he himself was watching over Vegito.

'How do you think they are doing?' He asked as the elder Kai sighed

'A price would have been paid by now. And we both know what would have been asked, he is merciless, and they would be no different to the rest of his victims.' The elder Kai answered. Suddenly, Vegito…..was Glowing.

'MY ELDER KAI! LOOK!' Kibioto Kai pointed to the sayien

'Hmm?' The elder Kai looked upon Vegito who was then gasping

'HUH?! AHH!?' He yelled grabbing his head, getting up and stood on his feet grabbing his head then felt like it was being split in two!

'Is this…..?'

'Did they….?

'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!' He roared and his whole body glowed up and suddenly….!

THEY SPLIT!

'Ahhhhhh!' Goku was blasted to the Left

'Ahhhhhh!' Vegeta was blasted to the Right!

They Both Got up and looked the other….they had been Split!

YESS! THEY ARE FREE! BUT THE GIRLS ARE GONE! WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT? Stay Tuned for more.
