Chapter 18 – Battle for the Souls

Goku and Vegeta fought through the monsters attacking them, they both had to get used to being in their own bodies again, it was difficult to re adjust when you have only just separated, but they weren't gonna let that stop them. Vegeta was fighting two at once. Goku was fighting with another 3, both of them giving at all they had as Bobiddi looked on grinning.

One creature matched Vegeta punch for punch, kick for kick, but Vegeta's punches and kicks were always more stronger. Vegeta punched one knocking it into the other as they both rolled and went to attack him from each side but he was quick to move out the way and sent a blast from above them. Sending them back to hell. He grinned looking over at kakarott

'struggling over there?' he asked as Goku grabbed on and threw it in the prince's direction who was quick to dodge

'Take care of that if you're not too busy' Goku smirked as Vegeta nodded He sent a few punches to the creature's side as it grew frustrated in losing to Vegeta. He went to bite Vegeta's leg but Vegeta kicked it in the mouth making it loose some teeth and bleed from its mouth as it attacked again. It jumped onto him as Vegeta fell flat on his back holding the creature back from biting his face off, but it was rather strong and strong willed, the created chomped in front of him, Vegeta saw the blood from his mouth dripping over his face as he grunted in disgust, only a few inches and this thing was gonna chew his face off. Just as he was getting close, the creature was smacked into the wall and broke its neck. Goku and punched it side and helped Vegeta up, who wiped his face of the blood. Goku turned to look at the two creatures ganging up on him as he flew head on to fight.

Goku faced off the two creatures in Super Saiyan form. He wanted to finish this guy off quickly and get his wife back. She had waited long enough for him to come back and he wasn't going to have her wait any longer than she had to.

As one creature fought Goku, the other went to his side and tried to get him by the legs, Goku kicked it in the face as the other scratched down his arm as Goku winced and powered up a little more and grabbed the creature the clawed him, threw it up above him and sent an energy blast exploding the creature to oblivion. He turned to the other creature and several punches and kicks to its stomach. Blood sputtered out the monster's mouth. In an attempt to defeat Goku, He charged at him but instead of clawing him that Goku thought he'd do, he opened his mouth wide and attempted to swallow him whole. Goku held onto the top of its mouth Goku could see inside the creature's mouth, it looked disgusting! He could see all the way in the back of its throat! He then had an idea, he summoned up an energy ball and grinned.

'I hope you're hungry!' He then blasted the creature from the inside as it squealed and spasmed. Goku let go of its mouth as it collapsed to the floor dead. Vegeta looked at Goku and grinned

'Well that was merciless'

'You think he'd show me sympathy?' Goku asked

'No he would have eaten you whole'

'I'll do that a hundred times over if it gets Chichi back!'

'Well you better start cooking up again' Vegeta looked to the creatures behind them as they both powered up and attacked head on again. Bobiddi meanwhile looked at how strong these fighters, were. It was impressive, he knew his monsters weren't strong enough to defeat them, they were pawns in his chess game. He had one more trick up his sleeve, and he was sure he would win.

Goku and Vegeta Both powered up their signature attacks and evaporated all the rest of the attacking creatures until there was nothing left! They looked around the area and there was not a single one left alive, they then heard clapping from above them

'Good. Very Very Good!' Bobiddi hovered down before them and grinned at them both.

'Is that the best you can do?' Vegeta huffed

'The best I can do… will never let you leave here alive' he smirked as he then began to power up himself, The sayiens stood back. Feeling the intense energy and power growing and growing and it concerned them, they sensed a familiarity with this power, the same power that created majjin Buu! If what Bobiddi said was true, this could possibly be a fight they wouldn't win!

'Kakarott, Let's finish this!' Vegeta roared as he dashed at Bobiddi and landed a punch on his face and followed it up with a punch to the gut followed with another kick to his face sending him through a wall.

'You saiyans never change do you?' the wizard laughed and began to power up 'HHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!' Bobiddi said as he transformed increased his power and pulled out a trademark energy blade and dashed at Vegeta smashing his fist into his stomach sending him through the tiles of the floor only for Goku to fire a Super Kamehameha wave at Bobiddi sending him back

'Very impressive! I haven't trained this much in a while I admit, but You Son Goku… your time is at an end. HHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAA!' Bobiddi shouted firing the blast at Goku giving him mere moments to dodge the massive attack and it damaged him greatly leaving him with his shirt torn and Goku realizing that Bobiddi was holding back flew up into the air and dashed at him with full speed preparing a massive attack wave and he then teleports behind him and fires the blast leaving Bobiddi on the ground.

'Give up Bobiddi! Give us what we want! I won't leave until my wife is safe and back where she belongs!' Goku ordered

'Ha… Ha… Ha.. That was really powerful, that did some damage… but I can't lose here… not now…NOT EVER!' Bobiddi then dashed at Goku and punched him in the gut and he then smiling stabbed Goku with the energy blade and he then finishes Goku by kicking him in the back sending him into the wall, injuring him and weak for the moment, Bobiddi walks over to him and holds him down with his foot on his chest! 'Now time to die Son Goku.' Bobiddi conjured an energy ball in his hand but it was cut off when an energy blast hit his hand, pissing him off as he turned around and saw the mighty prince on his feet ready for round 2!

'Well ain't that…..' Bobiddi was cut off by Vegeta greeting him with a kick to the face.

'You are going to release those souls and your gonna give us back our women! Or so help me I will show the true wrath of a sayien elite!' Vegeta said looking at the powered up wizard who just stared at him grinning.

'Oh Vegeta how sweet of you to actually care about someone other than yourself, what's the matter? You scared you'll become the mean murdering genocidal maniac again if I don't give you back The woman you so call love? Just embrace the darkens inside you! She could never understand you truly, I would appreciate your power and your ability, to show everyone what you really are. She would never see the good in you. You know that!' Bobiddi grinned as Vegeta frowned and powered up again

'I don't need someone who sees the good in me, I Need someone who sees the bad in me… and still wants me! And Bulma is that Someone! SO GIVE HER BACK!' Vegeta roared and saw the Bobiddi charge toward him before having a now Super Saiyen 2 Vegeta deliver a massive punch to the Boboddi's face.

'You used to be so much better, now you've just gotten soft. PATHETIC!' Bobiddi shouted to him.

'Perhaps… but I got stronger!' He smirked as Bobiddi gutted Vegeta and then followed up with a kick to the face which Vegeta stops and with a smile on his face powers up more still in his super sayien 2 form sending Bobiddi back aghast at the power boost Vegeta received instantaneously.

'You won't win! One of you is incapacitated!' He smirked as he received a kick in the back and got smacked into the wall, Vegeta turned and grinned to see Goku up on his feet again and ready to end this prick!

'Wrong! You got both of us now!' Goku powered up to super sayien 2 as well as Bobiddi got to his feet

'Oh to hell with this! Its about time sayiens were made extinct!' He huffed as he dashed at Vegeta and Goku who both dodged and attacked on both sides but he dodged both their punches and kicks! He was strong, they both had to admit! He grabbed Goku by his leg and swung him at Vegeta knocking them both away, Goku rolled and was quick to get back on his feet and blasted a Kaio Ken attack at him as Vegeta released his Gallick gun. Bobiddi blasted them back at them but they dodged them. This was a strong battle but they weren't gonna back down. Vegeta flew at him and smacked him in the face and Goku went and kick him to his side but it did nothing, Only fro him to kick Vegeta in the gut and punch Goku in the face, all three of them going toe to toe all at once! Bobiddi hit Vegeta back as Goku stood back and blasted his popular technique.

'KAAAAAA…MEEEEEEEEEEEE….HAAAAAAAAA….MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE….HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!' Goku blasted the attack as Bobiddi defended the attack and sent his own technique and threw it towards Vegeta who was still dizzy and not moving out of the way of the attack

'VEGETA!' Goku teleported at Vegeta and teleported away from the attack and set Vegeta down.

'This is getting us nowhere Kakarott!' Vegeta huffed

'We gotta keep trying Vegeta! Otherwise He wins!' Goku replied

'That's just it Goku….. I already have!' Bobiddi grinned as Goku huffed and launched at him again! Goku got the upper hand and kneed him hard in the gut as the wizard leaned forward as Goku sent another knee to his face. Bobiddi huffed and was getting frustrated that these sayiens wouldn't die! Bobbidi grinned and had an idea on how to get Goku at his most vulnerable

'Hey Goku, you see this?' He smirked and Held the crystal ball with chichi soul inside, Goku's eyes widened

'CATCH!' Bobiddi threw it towards the wall

'NOOO!' Goku flew to catch it and only just did before it was destroyed, he sighed in relief but was attacked from the back! The ball fell from his hands as Vegeta caught it and put in the well for the time being! He turned to look at the fight and saw that Bobiddi grabbed Goku by the throat and began to choke him out! Goku grunted and tried to fight back but the wizard was strong. Vegeta went to attack but Bobbidi sensed his attack and smacked him away!

'Stay out of this Vegeta. I will get to you as soon as I defeat this clown' He smirked as he turned his attention to Goku, putting more pressure on his neck! Vegeta was Frustrated that Bobiddi had knocked him out of the way, making him land on his face! He had to admit, they weren't gonna win this fight easily! Bobiddi meanwhile was grabbing Goku by the throat and had him off his feet! Goku clawed at the hand clenching around his neck at felt he was on the brink on death once again! He gagged and grunted as Bobiddi looked him dead in the eyes.

'Its like I said, Son Goku! I will always come out on top! Of You! Your wife! Your Friends! Your Planet! Even your entire universe! Nothing will stop me! NOTHING!' Bobbidi laughed then yelped in pain as Vegeta had kicked him aside and helped Goku up

'We end this now Kakartott. Together' Vegeta said as Goku looked at him, he knew Vegeta had so much pride and would want to fight him alone, but he knew the price if he failed and he could not let his pride get in the way of what was at stake, and he had to put his pride aside for that.

'Together' Goku nodded as Bobbidi laughed

'It's sad really, you think you'll walk out of here with them, but you won't! They are bound to me!'

'WRONG! THEY ARE NOT YOURS TO USE! NOW FOR THE LAST TIME…GIVE…THEM…. BACK…RRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!' Goku powered up so much that he couldn't stop screaming, Vegeta powered up too, not to Goku's extent but enough to have affect. Bobiddi powered up too but then he realised something…his power….. Goku's power….. was beyond any power he had encountered before! Goku was growing his power level! His Ki spiked higher and higher and a bright light shined on him and suddenly…..

BAM!

Goku had Once again….. Hit Super sayien 3!

Bout time!' Vegeta smirked

'!? WHAT DID YOU DO?! WHAT IS THIS!?'

'You're Demise Bobbidi!' Goku said in a dark tone 'Vegeta?' he turned to the Prince as he was in his super sayien form

'We finish this Kakarott, now!'

'Agreed' Goku raised his Ki into both his hands as bobbidi formed a shield around him to protect himself, But he could sense he would have to put all of his power in this!

'YOU WILL NOT DEFEAT ME! I AM BOBBIDI! YOU SAYIENS HAVE NOTHING!' He roared

'You're wrong! You see we do have something….and no one will stand in our way to get it back!' Goku said as he formed his energy blast and looked to Vegeta who smirked

'Let's end this!'

'Agreed!...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!' Goku fired his blast

'RRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!' Vegeta also formed his blast as they though interlocked with the other and formed into a mighty powerful blast that easily destroyed Bobiddi's shield and was directed straight at him

'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!' Bobbidi screamed as he felt the intense pain of the energy blast. Goku watched on as did Vegeta who was smirking as he sensed Bobiddi's power begin to deteriorate and his physical form disintegrating. Bobiddi felt the wound of the energy blast begin to consume him, his body was burning and disappearing and felt his very existence being consumed by the wrath of the sayiens! He tried to resist but it was no good! From the feet up his body burned away and the ashes floated into the air, it was taking him! His face burned away until his screams screams shattered the glass around them and the bright light of the blast blinded the two sayiens! It died down and they looked around. Bobiddi had disappeared! Goku and Vegeta powered down back to their original start and looked around. They could not sense Bobiddi anymore, he was gone. Vegeta looked on the floor and saw some torn up robes of his clothes and the family portrait on the wall had fallen off the wall and he noticed that Bobbidi's face had been burned off. He smirked and then saw in the portrait Babiddi's face and huffed and sent a blast at that ugly face too. He had his reasons.

'I hope they have special seats reserved in hell.' Vegeta grinned as Goku frowned. Bobiddi may have been gone but it didn't achieve anything.

'He's gone, but where does that leave us? What do we do now?' he asked as Vegeta frowned. He was right. The only person who would be able to help them with what they need was now gone.

'For once…. I don't have an answer' Vegeta sighed

Suddenly….

A light was glowing from behind them. They looked at the other and then turned around to see that the light was coming from the well.

'What's going on?' Goku asked as some bright lights began blasting out of the crystal balls and soaring up into the sky and across the stars.

'What's happening?' Goku wondered as Vegeta took a guess

'We killed him Kakarott, now his prisoners are free to go home' he answered

…..

Across several planets, the lights landed to their designated areas and changed back into the people they once were, finally able to reunite with their loved ones! They were free!

….

As the last of the lights soared away, two still hovered above The two sayiens and landed on the floor and changed to the people they were. Goku and Vegta looked upon them and were in a state of shock, finally able to see the two women they came to save, and not as Vegito. But as themselves.

'Wha…..' Bulma groaned

'What happened….?' Chichi rubbed her head in pain. Bulma and chichi both feeling lightheaded from that experience and looked to each other and faced the two men before them. They both weren't sure if they were dreaming or it was real. They looked at them for a few seconds before their light headedness became too much and collapsed, only to be caught by their Significant other. Vegeta Held Bulma up as she groaned and passed out asleep as he held her, not exactly the reunion he thought would happen but nevertheless, he was back. And he wasn't going anywhere.

Goku held Chichi in his arms and felt nothing but sorrow and love. He was looking at this beautiful woman he called his wife, He felt that everything that had happened was his fault! He had put her through so much and he felt he didn't deserve her. He looked at Vegeta holding his own wife, knowing he was feeling exactly the same thing.

…

Chichi stirred in her sleep, she woke up to the sun hitting her face and rubbed her eyes open. She sat up and looked around the room, she recognised it as a guest room in Capsule corp, and in the other bed next to her, Bulma was waking up too. Bulma sat up and recognised her home and looked at chichi, Both confused at the situation.

'What happened?' Bulma asked 'I thought we….?'

'Yeah! The last thing I remember was Bobiddi, and the deal and…..wait… we were freed' Chichi gasped as Bulma started to remember too

'Was it…..?' Bulma whispered, they both came to the same conclusion and jumped out of their beds and ran downstairs and out onto the porch and saw a sight! They both felt their legs were gonna give way, their hearts pumped so fast that it felt like it they were running a marathon, there on the porch, they saw two certain men, looking out on the view and they sensed their presence and turned to face them. Bulma was seeing his face! That same, frowning, strong and handsome face she had been wishing to see for months! Vegeta looked at her, although he wasn't gonna show it in front of Goku, he wanted to hold her and vow he was never gonna hurt her or their son ever again, he knew he screwed up when he became Majjin and that was something he would never put his family through again.

Goku stared at Chichi, the way she was looking at him, she was unsure if the whole situation was real or not. Part of her was debating to jump in his arms and hold him or to faint again. Goku gave her the same look he gave her when he returned to earth for one day, the look of telling her how much he missed and loved her and how deeply sorry he was. No one was speaking in this moment, Bulma and Chichi looked at each other and then to them both, no one wanted to talk about it but it was the elephant in the room. It had been a very long year, Goku and Vegeta were back but Vegito was not forgotten. Bulma and Chichi both felt awkward standing with their friend's other half, considering they had done stuff with them when they were one being. Bulma cleared her throat and softly stated.

'We are gonna talk this out'
