Sasuke immediately seized Naruto, halting his attempt to escape. "You better not even think about spewing lies or mocking me, you pitiful loser. I am the esteemed Uchiha heir, and you must have some serious mental deficiency to dare label me as an heiress. What the hell gives you the audacity to refer to us as girls when you damn well know better?"
Naruto opted for a more diplomatic approach, choosing to address them directly instead of resorting to violence. "You know, whenever things don't go your way, you tend to get overly emotional and throw tantrums. Then, you run off to complain to your parents or guardians. So, please enlighten me, how is that not acting entitled and stuck-up? While you both continue wasting time, I have important matters to attend to."
Naruto swiftly employed the body flicker technique, leaving the two bystanders in utter disbelief of what they had just witnessed. He effortlessly leaped from one rooftop to another until he reached the ramen stand's rooftop. However, as he arrived, he immediately sensed that something was amiss – the vent was obstructed. Without hesitation, Naruto took it upon himself to rectify the situation, skillfully addressing the issues plaguing the roof. Once he had completed his task, he gracefully descended to the streets below, eager to inform Teuchi and Ayame that their clogged air vents were now fixed.
Upon touchdown, he made his way to the stand, only to discover Ayame and Teuchi unconscious. It appeared that someone had deliberately blocked the air vent, rendering them both helpless and vulnerable to theft. Naruto's hand emitted a vibrant green glow as he realized that all they needed was some good old-fashioned mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Creating a shadow clone, he entrusted it with the task of reviving Ayame while he attended to Teuchi himself. After some diligent effort, Teuchi's breathing returned to normal. However, when he received the clone's memories, the shock was so intense that he stumbled and fell on his rear end.
As Ayame finally regained her breath, she surprised him by planting a passionate kiss on his lips and embracing him tightly. It was quite a contrast from just receiving a simple thank you. Her actions were so intense that even his shadow clone vanished under the pressure. It made him wonder if she somehow knew what he had for breakfast, as her tongue explored his mouth. A mere expression of gratitude would have sufficed, but Ayame took it to a whole new level.
Teuchi couldn't help but chuckle as Naruto finally managed to stand up and started tackling the pile of dirty pots and pans in the kitchen. "You know, Teuchi, a basic wind Jutsu could have easily cleared that blockage, preventing those thieves from taking advantage of you like that. But hey, better late than never! which then Teuchi said now lend me a hand while we clean up this charred mess, and I can fill you in on what exactly went down."
"There isn't much of a story, honestly. I was just minding my own business in the kitchen, preparing some delicious ramen, when suddenly this imposter claiming to be you showed up and placed an order for ramen. The next thing I remember is feeling lightheaded and then waking up to find you here, providing us with emergency medical assistance. I never doubted for a second that you would do something as despicable as robbing us. It's clear that someone who despises you must have orchestrated this whole incident to tarnish your reputation and make us think poorly of you."
According to Naruto's sources, it seems like they have a solid grasp on the tree walking chakra control exercise. To add to the trouble, they're also familiar with the transformation technique. This implies that they're most likely Genin and not mere students. Unless they belong to a prestigious clan, it's highly unlikely that even they would engage in such malicious or foolish behavior.
"You're familiar with me, right? I've been incredibly occupied with my training, attending the academy, and finding ways to combat my boredom in the perilous forest of death ever since the Hunter Ninja Commander practically expelled me from the ranks of the Hunter Ninjas. I've successfully tracked down and eliminated numerous Chuunin Rogue Ninjas, and I've taken down so many bandit camps that I've actually lost count. And yet, despite all of this, I still have to attend that Academy just like everyone else."
The ramen chef glanced at him and started nodding, "I suppose it can be a bit tiring to learn things you already know while being surrounded by kids who don't, just like my attempts to spark Ayame's interest in cooking. I'm familiar with some recipes from the heart, but she finds it dull when I try to explain how to make noodles from scratch, especially when the nearby supermarket offers pre-packaged noodles ready to be cooked."
Naruto burst into laughter, exclaiming, "However, it's just not comparable! The prepackaged noodles are designed to last longer, but they lack the diverse range of flavors and textures that can be achieved when crafting noodles by hand. Plus, you have to thoroughly wash your hands to prevent any unwanted flavors from seeping into the noodles. And let's not forget the endless possibilities of infusing various spices into the dough, resulting in a multitude of tantalizing recipes. From fiery spicy noodles to delectable sweet ones, and even noodles infused with chicken, fish, or beef broth!"
Ayame stood there, completely dumbfounded, her jaw dropping in disbelief. The words that reached her ears were simply too astonishing to comprehend. To make matters worse, her father's laughter only added fuel to the fire. "Look at that, Ayame! This young man knows his way around ramen. If those fools dare to kick you out of the academy, you can always lend a hand in the kitchen here. So, Naruto, spill the beans. When did you start mastering the art of cooking?"
Naruto chuckled and revealed that his mother insists on teaching him the art of cooking each and every day. It seems she wants him to be self-reliant in case the girls in their village fail to show any interest or if he struggles to find a suitable mate. And to top it off, the council seems determined to hinder his chances of finding a life mate.
Naruto had finally returned home, finding Kurama comfortably seated on the sofa engrossed in a scroll. It was evident that she had dedicated a significant portion of her morning to whatever she was working on. As Naruto approached her, Kurama swiftly rolled up the scroll, leaving him curious about its contents. However, Naruto understood and respected his mother's need for privacy. If she wished to share, she would do so in her own time. All he had to do was patiently wait for her to reveal the mystery behind the scroll and brushes.
"How was your day at school, son?" Naruto attempted to put on a brave face and glanced at his mother, determined not to burden her with his troubles. However, the moment she laid eyes on him, she instinctively drew him closer and embraced him tightly, as if she could decipher his emotions effortlessly. "I'm sorry, mom. I know I should have confided in you, but I didn't want to add to your worries. My time at the academy was utterly dull, to the point of tears. If only my teachers were even a fraction as captivating as you, I wouldn't struggle so much to stay awake in class."
With a gentle peck on his forehead, she reassured him that there was no need for apologies. It warmed her heart to see how deeply he cared for her. "Don't worry, my dear. As your mother, I can sense when something's amiss. There aren't many women in this world who understand you as I do."
"Alright, after indulging in the aroma of ramen, let's move on. We're about to engage in some sparring, and I can't have your claws losing their sharpness just because some human bored you during class. Oh, and I need you to shift out of that human form so I can assess your growth. I have a feeling you're getting closer to acquiring your second tail."
The mother and her child engaged in a relentless five-hour training session, leaving no room for rest. As she observed her son's remarkable improvement, she couldn't help but feel relieved. His claws and fangs remained as sharp as ever, reassuring her that the time he spent learning from the humans was worthwhile. Although his fox form resembled that of a young kit, she was taken aback to discover that he was already on the verge of growing a third tail.
For centuries, Kurama believed that the world could only accommodate a limited number of nine-tailed foxes. In fact, she thought there would only be sixteen of them. However, Naruto's unwavering determination and relentless efforts achieved something that even Kurama couldn't help but feel proud of. Typically, for a nine-tailed fox to grow an additional tail, they must master one element, and usually, they only learn nine elements. But Naruto, along with her treacherous companion and newfound twin sister, managed to master all thirteen elements. This remarkable feat usually takes at least one hundred years for each element.
Naruto had accomplished the remarkable feat of mastering two elements in under twenty years, and he was on the verge of conquering the third one. The elements he had already mastered were Fire and Wind, but the third element held a mysterious allure. It was the element of shadows, which seemed fitting as he aspired to become the champion of the goddess of darkness. It came as no surprise that the shadow element would be his next conquest.
If Naruto were able to achieve mastery as a Genin and bear the mark of Jashin, his proficiency would undoubtedly facilitate his acceptance and acquisition of the goddess's bestowed abilities. While she felt a sense of pride for Naruto's accomplishments, deep inside, she couldn't help but worry about the perils her young protege would encounter. The world's decision to aid him in his preparation only emphasized the gravity of the challenges that lay ahead.
Throughout the ages, Kurama endured unimaginable abuse and exploitation. However, amidst the darkness, her one source of pure happiness emerged when she became the mother of Naruto. She firmly believed that her son was destined to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Kushina and become a true champion. Yet, despite her unwavering faith in his abilities, Kurama couldn't help but yearn for his happiness and safety. After all, deep down, she was a mother at heart, and like any mother, her utmost desire was for her precious kit to thrive in a world filled with joy, good health, and security. In this aspect, Kurama was no different from any other loving parent.
Naruto's life took an interesting turn, as he found himself in a rather unique position at the Academy. Unlike his peers, he was not the most popular student. In fact, Mizuki, his instructor, seemed determined to test Naruto's limits by assigning him the most difficult tests and tasks. Mizuki hoped that Naruto would fail or simply give up on his dreams of becoming a ninja. However, much to Mizuki's dismay, Naruto embraced these challenges with open arms. While others may have complained about the unfair treatment, Naruto relished in the opportunity to prove himself. He thrived in the face of adversity and consistently excelled in every single lesson.
Naruto possessed an incredible stamina that surpassed even that of a racehorse, and his speed rivaled that of some ANBU members. This led his classmates to view him as a showoff, and some even went as far as calling him a freak, simply because he was able to effortlessly tackle the seemingly impossible tasks assigned to him. However, Naruto found immense joy in proving his abilities by conquering every exercise challenge thrown at him by Mizuki.
The following day, he made a firm decision to proceed and indulge in a delightful, soothing bath in the serene open-air baths. After enduring ten strenuous hours of exercise, he truly craved relaxation and didn't wish to return home emanating the same sweaty scent. His mother's sensitive nose was a recipe for disaster. As he glanced at the sign-in sheet, he noticed that he wasn't the sole male present; the names Sasuke and Kiba also caught his attention.
As he yearned for a resolution to the ongoing class rivalry, he held onto the hope that a simple chat between the three of them could bring an end to the animosity. This would grant him the freedom to concentrate on his studies, instead of being burdened by the constant glares and hurtful insults from those two individuals. However, just as he was lost in his thoughts, a piercing scream echoed from the woman's side of the bathing area.
"I just can't wrap my head around it. How on earth did that fool manage to uncover something that the entire village couldn't? Seriously, Sasuke, aren't you furious that the showoff effortlessly unraveled our secret? What happened to your sense of pride?"
Kiba, disguised as a boy, found herself in the women's area. It was quite perplexing to see her bathing alongside a group of women without facing any consequences. One could only wonder why these women didn't unleash their fury upon her. The distinct scent in the air revealed that Hannah and her mother were also enjoying a bath. Surprisingly, Mikoto and Anko were present too, yet they remained silent. Could it be that they were aware of Kiba's true identity as a girl?
"No matter how much you scream, Kiba, that idiot never actually figured it out. He just did it to play with our minds and make us lose focus in the Academy. It's as simple as that. There's absolutely no chance that guy discovered something our teachers haven't."
~ Meanwhile in the afterlife ~
The shinigami patiently waited and listened as two figures engaged in a heated argument. One of them appeared visibly upset, while the other, a mysterious blonde, calmly posed a question to the shinigami, "Why can't we intervene at this moment?"
The shinigami responded, "Because you are not to interfere, you will wait after the incident and then after that, you will be sent two days after Naruto tells Sasuke and Kiba that they were heiresses by doing this it will create a new timeline and keep the old timeline intact.
~Meanwhile in the bath ~
Naruto found himself in a rather troublesome situation. It seemed like either all the female members of the Clans were aware that two of his classmates were pretending to be the opposite gender, or those two classmates were incredibly perverted. They were shamelessly bathing with the mothers of every influential clan, all for the sake of amusement.
Hold on a moment, the only individual who possesses knowledge of the alluring transformation technique is him. This implies that they are aware that Sasuke and Kiba are both females, intensifying the situation. Now, his curiosity is piqued, wondering how they truly appear without the disguise that conceals their femininity. To be honest, he didn't have high expectations for Kiba, but then again, the veterinarian who consistently tends to him was remarkably stunning.
The Uchiha women were said to possess an unparalleled perfection, with whispers spreading that those fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of their bare form would mistake them for celestial beings or ethereal goddesses. But seriously, let's be real here. Sasuke, who just started his journey at the academy like any other ordinary student, can't possibly transform into a voluptuous beauty like some kind of emo princess.
The deeper he pondered, the stronger his curiosity grew, until he suddenly caught a glimpse of a familiar voice echoing in his ears. And in that very moment of recognition, he was overwhelmed and succumbed to unconsciousness. It was none other than his mother, stepping into the bath, leaving him with no choice but to abandon any thoughts of peeping.
~Women's Side of the Public Bath ~
Mikoto glanced over at her daughter and her friend Kiba, noticing their flustered expressions. Just then, a mysterious red-haired woman entered the bathing area. Intrigued, Mikoto made up her mind to approach her. "You know, I don't believe we've had the pleasure of meeting before. Which child in the academy do you belong to? We thought it would be a great idea for all the mothers in our children's class to have a bath together, so we can all become acquainted."
With a joyful laugh and a bright smile, she introduced herself, "Guess who? I'm Kurama Uzumaki, but you can just call me Kurama. My full name is Yasaka Kurama Uzumaki Otsutsuki, but let's keep it simple. I am Naruto's adopted mother. When my sister passed away, I made the decision to raise him as my own. I know it hasn't been easy, but I believe in him." Standing confidently, she raised her thumb in that familiar, friendly pose Naruto often does, which brought laughter from the women around her. Hannah chimed in, mentioning how Naruto sometimes mimicked her pose, creating a sense of ease among the people present.
As she approached, she discovered that not only were some of their daughters present, but also the Vet who had treated her son, Sakura, and Ino. "We used to believe that the dobe was just making up stories about his mother teaching him things. We all knew he was a fool without a clan, so it wasn't difficult to accept that he was a liar as well."
Kurama's gaze shifted towards Sakura, who had just finished uttering those words, as she approached the group of women. "My son may possess many qualities, but being a liar and a fool is not among them," Kurama asserted. "Believe it or not, as I mentioned earlier, we are the last surviving members of the Uzumaki Clan in this village. We departed from our home village long ago to accompany my sister, Kushina, who had decided to marry a young man she was fond of in this very village. Our village's Kage wanted to ensure her safety, so he assigned me as a sort of bodyguard. Unfortunately, fate dealt a cruel blow as my husband passed away the same year our precious child was born."
Tsume gave a solemn nod, "Just like my husband, who sacrificed himself to protect our village during the nine tails attack, I understand your loss. Now, since we're here to bond and share stories about our children, we've heard about everyone except you. So, tell us about Naruto. He's quite an enigma, as all we know is based on rumors."
Kurama leaned back, a relaxed expression on his face. "Well, there isn't really a lot to say, unfortunately. My son is quite the hard worker, always diligent and never makes excuses. He's respectful and knows better than to go against me or defy my orders. However, I must admit, he does have a bit of a mischievous side. It's hard to believe, but he's developed quite the crush on Mikoto ever since he caught a glimpse of her while chatting with his friend Itachi."
Tsume, you won't believe it, but he's got a little crush on you, and I suspect one of your daughters too. I know, I know, it's hard to believe, especially considering your clan's unique way of selecting a mate." As the words sank in, both Hannah and Kiba couldn't help but blush, submerging themselves in the water to conceal their flushed faces.
Sakura and Ino were taken aback when they discovered that the boy they had been infatuated with was actually a girl all this time. This revelation made them both realize the foolishness of their actions and they finally decided to bury the hatchet. As a result, their mothers breathed a sigh of relief, grateful for the newfound peace between their daughters.
Ino, the notorious gossip addict, couldn't resist asking, "Hey Mrs. Uzumaki, is there anyone else your son has a crush on around here?" Surprisingly, I've always had this feeling that my son has a crush on both you and Sakura. He talks about the two of you non-stop, showing genuine concern for your diets and even your training routines. It's hard for me to believe, but when I see how my son effortlessly breezes through the training that even the legendary Green Beast of Konoha finds challenging, I can't help but believe it."
Two additional young ladies concealing their rosy cheeks from the ladies submerged in the water, "Hey Kurama, what's your take on this? Would you object if your son decided to marry multiple women, some of whom are even older than him?" To Kurama's surprise, it was Mikoto Uchiha who posed this question first.
"To be honest, the situation is quite unique. As the only remaining Uzumaki in the village, I am unable to have any more children unless certain circumstances arise. These circumstances are personal and I prefer not to disclose them. Due to complications during the birth of my daughter, she is currently being raised by my cousin, Tsunade. Given that my son is the last hope for the Uzumaki Clan, I anticipate him being involved in the Clan Restoration Act. There are two possibilities: he may be compelled to marry multiple women in order to revive our clan's population, or he may gather the courage to find a group of women who genuinely care for him and marry them. Personally, I lean towards the latter option where no one is forced into marriage. After all, marriage is already challenging, and without love, it can become a true nightmare."
" I made up my mind to meet the mothers of my future daughters-in-law. I wanted to have a heart-to-heart conversation with them, sharing some valuable insights about my son. I truly believe that just like you, I want my son to find happiness, and I know you want the same for your daughters too."
Mikoto's eyes filled with empathy as she drew nearer to Kurama. "I understand how you feel," she said softly. "A mother always desires the very best for her children. I can relate, you know. I was compelled to officially register my youngest as a boy because my late husband detested the idea of having a daughter. He believed women to be feeble and fragile."
Tsume approached with a scowl on her face, joining Hannah who also seemed furious. "I've always despised that sexist idiot Fugaku. Honestly, Mikoto, I've never understood why someone as incredible as you would marry such a jerk. We both want nothing but the best for our children. I just hope that Hannah can find a mate who will treat her right. Kiba behaves so much like a typical boy, it genuinely concerns me about her future."
Noriko jumped into the conversation, expressing her concern, "My daughter always gives me a reason to worry with her dreadful eating habits. It's quite alarming to see her starving herself just because she believes boys prefer girls to be 'fit'. This is bound to give me premature gray hairs!"
Mebuki leaned in towards her childhood friend, "You know what? I can totally relate. The way those girls obsess over pleasing some random boy and their never-ending gossip sessions can be so exhausting. So, Kurama, spill the beans. What kind of girls do you think would be the perfect match for your boy? Might as well share it with us."
Kurama couldn't help but chuckle at the straightforwardness of her words. "Whether they are girls or women, it doesn't matter to me. As long as they genuinely love my son and bring him happiness, I have absolutely no qualms about a prospective wife being older than him."
It was quite amusing to witness the outcome of this situation, as it led to numerous daughters and even a few mothers blushing like young girls who had just been enlightened about the intricacies of the birds and the bees at the Academy. "So, let me get this straight. If any of us, who are no longer married, happen to develop an interest in your boy - a boy who is actually the same age as our own daughters, mind you - and we decide to flirt and vie for his affections, you won't object to it?"
Kurama glanced at them and burst into laughter. "Ladies, let me make it clear. My son is the last Uzumaki, and I won't let those idiots in the council decide who he marries. I've already expressed my desires for my boy, and you better believe I'm dead serious about securing his future. I expect the same level of commitment from each one of you."
Naruto couldn't believe his ears as he overheard the whole conversation. It was beyond embarrassing to hear his own mother discussing potential mates, but thankfully to the meddling Sage. However, amidst the embarrassment, he found solace in the fact that he had discovered he had a long-lost sister. The only silver lining was that he was the only one bathing at that moment. He couldn't help but wonder why they couldn't have whispered those embarrassing remarks instead of shouting them out for the world to hear.
He desperately wanted to avoid the chaos that would ensue if a group of mothers and their daughters took him up on that offer. With that in mind, he made a swift and silent escape, managing to reach the comfort of his own home. After preparing a hasty retreat, he decided it was time to call it a night before his mother caught wind of him overhearing her angry outbursts.
Oh no, not only do I have to watch out for Kiba and Sasuke, because I know they'll both be furious, but now I also have to be cautious around Tsume, Mikoto, and all the other widowed mothers of my classmates. Why on earth did my mother do this? It's like she's practically put up a sign that says fox hunting season by telling the hounds.'
~ Back in the bath again~
Kurama's keen eyes catch sight of the two members from the Kurama clan, and it doesn't take long for them to notice something amiss. The daughter appears frail and unwell, but what truly catches Kurama's attention is the striking resemblance between her and a girl sealed within her. It becomes evident that the seal binding the girl is flawed, causing her to suffer. Without hesitation, Kurama resolves to lend a helping hand by undoing the seal.
