A/N: Hello again, so you may have noticed some changes, I tried not to make too many but there were some holes that needed to be filled and I tried to add more emotion to the characters while they are speaking. So, pleas let me know what you think.

Chapter 7
~London~
It was like Mr. Weasley had said, the department of Mysteries had begun searching for a cure for Hermione's loss of magic and memory. So far, they were not making any headway. Several squibs had volunteered; but there was not much luck recovering suppressed magic.
Molly and Ginny had taken over the Malfoy's library in search; but as the weeks went on, they started losing hope of ever finding a solution. Lucius was saddened by the news and started owling old family friends for any light they might shine on the subject. He felt it was partially his fault that Miss Granger was hit with the spell in the first place. Molly put the subject to rest when she made it clear that it was not his fault, for if it were, he would surely know the cure. Lucius on the other hand was not so sure.
When Mr. Weasley returned confirming that Hermione still could not remember and seemed to have no signs of recovery over the last few months, the search was all but given up. Those who knew Hermione closely were saddened by the news. The only humorous part was how the Daily Profit spun takes of the fallen hero's disappearance. Ginny took to clipping them and saving them and saving them in a book. Hermione would surely get a kick out of them when she was able to read the articles. Ginny still held hope that one day Hermione would return to them. Harry and Ron were not the same without her; but she knew that they had done the right thing.
…
Carlisle sat in his office contemplating, if he should tell his family Hermione's background or if it would be better if it was kept a secret. He wondered if there was anyone out there looking for the fallen hero, as the Wizarding paper liked to call her. He had read the articles; they were quite funny. Every week they posted a possible scenario for her. He wished that he could tell her about it. His favorite was that she was abducted by nomad vampires to make them her bride, for all they knew she was a vampire already. He could not help but smile.
He sighed for the second time that day. Of made a sound that sounded like a sigh. As a vampire he could not really breath air, but certain sounds were easy to imitate.
The week passed relatively slowly for everyone involved. Soon it was the end of the week, and Carlisle found himself waiting impatiently for Hermione to arrive.
Soon there was a knock at the door, "Come in," he said.
"Hermione is here," the nurse said opening the door so she could see in, "Shall I send her in?"
"Yes," he answered, "thank you."
When Hermione entered the room, he could tell she seemed a little nervous. He attempted to calm her down by patting the chair next to his. She smiled at him brightly before sitting down in the chair. He hardly ever had her sit on the exam table anymore. This seemed much more personal. After he went over everything and examined her thoroughly.
"How is everything?" Carlisle asked, "how are you feeling?"
"I'm doing good, but I wish I could remember," she said with a smile, "But I did discover something interesting about your family."
"Oh?" Carlisle asked, curiously.
"You're not entirely human, are you?" she asked quickly before continuing, "it's ok, your secret is safe with me. But can you tell me about it?"
"Come over for dinner and we'll explain," Carlisle said tentatively "I really must ask you not to tell a soul."
"I promise," She said placing her hand over her heart. Carlisle half expected a magical surge to happen as they had just said the words that cause most magical oaths; however, nothing happened. Carlisle was a tad disappointed, maybe she really was magic-less for good?
"Everything alright?" she asked concerned.
"I was just thinking," Carlisle admitted.
"Ok," she said with a smile. "So, dinner tonight?"
"Yes," Carlisle said, handing her the tin of cookies.
"You know if you give me any more tin's I'll have enough to start a collection," she said with a laugh.
"I'm sure Esme had a few hundred more somewhere," Carlisle said jokingly.
They laughed as Carlisle opened the door and shooed her away. The promise of later hang in the air like a warm blanket. While he was concerned about her knowing, he was not as worried as much as he was about Bella knowing.
…
Rosalie arrived home with Hermione around dinnertime as promised. Esme pampered Hermione with her delicious food, a good cup of tea, and a delicious piece of homemade apple pie.
"Esme you're going to spoil me," Hermione said sighing in delight after taking a comforting sip of her tea.
"It's my pleasure dear," Esme said.
After dinner was done, they all moved to the living room, "now you had something you wanted to talk about," Carlisle said.
"Well yes," Hermione said, "I assume that you already know that I know your secret?"
"Yes," Carlisle admitted, "We've known for a little while, Alice you see can see the future."
Carlisle then went on to explain everyone's abilities, and they all told their individual stories. "That's amazing," Hermione said excitedly finally glad to be in on the secret, "don't you get tired of going to school?"
"Yes," they all said at the same time.
Hermione laughed, before glancing over at Rosalie, "I'm sorry that you had to go through such a terrible experience," she said, "but I'm glad that I got to meet you."
"I'm glad I got to meet you too Hermione," Rosalie said sincerely.
"How come you don't mind my company when you can't seem to stand Bella's?" Hermione asked Rosalie quietly.
"She's just," Rosalie said trying to contain her anger, "she's dangerous."
Hermione was not quite sure what that meant, so she did not say anything. If she can't stand Bella being around then why do they tolerate me?
"How about some video games," Emmet said breaking the silence, "I bet you 5 bucks that I can beat you."
"Not on your life," she said standing up for her chair, quickly, "I'll take that bet! Put your money where your mouth is."
"Oh, I have to see this," Edward said following them into the game room.
After about 10 rounds of losing the same game, Emmet threw the controller to Jasper. "You see if you can beat her," He snapped, "I quit."
"Aww Emmet," Hermione called cheerily trying to get him to come back, "It's just a game."
"Hermione," Rosalie said with a laugh, "to Emmet, Mortal Combat is life."
"He needs a new Hobby," Hermione said with a laugh. Glancing over at the clock, she noticed what time it was. "Oh Crap! I have to get home; Uncle Charlie will be worried."
"We'll finish this next time," Jasper said after her as she and Rosalie headed out towards the car.
"Everything is going to be ok," Alice said out of nowhere.
"Did you have another vision?" Jasper asked curiously.
"No," she answered with a smile, "I can just tell."
After giving her mate a kiss, she and Hermione walked out the door.
…
When Hermione arrived home, Charlie was pacing the floor, "where have you been?" he asked calmer that he should have been.
"I was at the Cullen's," she stated before rambling on, "I'm sorry to have worried you, Emmet and I were playing Mortal Combat, and we didn't realize how late it was. I'm sorry I worried you Uncle Charlie."
"I wasn't very worried," Charlie said waving her apology off, "Bella said you were going over to the Cullen's house for dinner, so I knew you were safe. They are good people; I was just worried that you weren't home yet. I was just about to call you to check in on you."
"I'll try to keep better track of the time next time," Hermione said giving him a hug.
"So, do you think you'll be up for a bonfire tomorrow night?" Charlie asked.
"Oh, Alice and I have plans to go shopping tomorrow and then were going to grab Bella and have dinner over at the Cullen's again. She hasn't met Edward's parents yet, and she hopped I could go along."
"Alright," Charlie answered before continuing on in an informative manner, "I'll be out early in the morning and you two will most likely be gone before I get back. So, make sure you are warm enough, and don't forget your keys."
She nodded yes and a mock solute before giving him and hug and heading up to bed. She could tell that tomorrow was going to be a good day. She fell asleep with a smile on her face.
Bella and Edward were cuddled up together on her bed, just talking and quietly laughing together. Yes, it was certainly going to be a good weekend.
