Port of Tokyo...

During the Paranormal Liberation War, businesses and international trade routes were disrupted. Undercover members of the Front were revealed in more significant numbers than anticipated. The Port of Tokyo was used to smuggle villain artifacts, and whatever heroes were able to assist shut down the organization. For the time being, the Port was abandoned, and international trade was diverted to smaller ports across the country.

An abandoned international seaport was the perfect place for the Discord Organization.

The Chaos King stood on a mountain of shipping containers. His gaze was set toward Tokyo Tower. Behind him was Midoriya, bound by metal wrapping and unconscious. He was guarded by two Discorder gang members and an Instant-Nomu. "I sometimes miss this view of the Tower. I remember the day it was nearly destroyed," he mused.

The villain next to him, Wolfram, chuckled. "What're you talking about?"

"The Darkest Day in Japan's history. The day the gates of Hell broke open and the worst demons ever created charged onto this Earth. They surged through the land, uprooting entire families. Hero schools fell, and society was on the brink of collapse. If the Front had won, the world would've fallen into darkness. While the Discord Organization thrives on chaos, even I would've been targetted and destroyed," the villain leader said. "I owe everything to him." He gestured to Midoriya

The Steel Manipulation villain glanced at the unconscious young hero. "I faced him and All Might last year. What can we do if his destiny is to stop All for One?" He wondered.

The Chaos King smiled. "He wasn't a danger back then. Thankfully, his career of being Number One is finally coming to an end. The Symbol of Peace shall fall into Chaos," he said.

Wolfram rolled his eyes. He glanced over to see a group of people approaching. He gestured to them, giving the Chaos King something to smile about.

Deku had arrived with 2-A behind him, along with Snipe and All Might. Everybody was in their hero uniform, including the Symbol of Peace. With his Full Shield active and a replacement white cape (thanks to the Support Department making a suitable duplicate), he was a warrior king approaching the battlefield. His eyes were narrowed and focused on the villain above.

The Chaos King approached the ledge of the container. "Well, well...it looks like you showed up. I wasn't expecting you actually to bring all of them with you...unless you are playing with pawns on the board."

"You know as well as I that I don't fight with pawns," Deku growled.

The Chaos King's smile grew. "So...let's get started." Behind him, Wolfram grabbed the wrapped-up Izuku and held him out. The class gasped as they saw his broken form. Blood was dripping from his head. Uraraka's heartbroken surprise was replaced with rage. "You will surrender your Quirk in exchange for your younger self. He will fulfill his destiny of defeating All for One, only for his fate to end here! Take this to heart, hero! This has been a long time coming!"

"Wolfram...it's been a long time."

The villain sneered. "So you're the real deal. I thought the future talk was bullshit. I guess I'm glad I have a chance at revenge."

"YOU BASTARD!" Kirishima bellowed, earning cheers of agreement from his classmates. "YOU'RE HIDING BEHIND A HOSTAGE WHO HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG!"

The Chaos King laughed as Wolfram threw Midoriya back out of sight. "Oh, trust me when I say he's no innocent man! I've watched as the so-called 'Symbol of Peace' roughed up and sent many of my colleagues to hospitals all over Japan. I've seen him bust bunkers in Greece and capsize smugglers' vessels with only his fist. He has inspired fear in many's hearts, yet you still call him a hero!" He bellowed. "All Might inspired hope; Deku inspires fear!"

"YOU'RE WRONG, ASSHOLE!" Bakugo boomed. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but DEKU IS A DAMN NERD WHO ALWAYS LOOKS OUT FOR OTHERS, EVEN IF HE'S ANNOYING TO HELL AND BACK WITH IT!"

"YEAH!" The class followed up.

"HE HELPED ME SEE PAST MY FATHER'S LEGACY SO I CAN GROW ON MY OWN!" Todoroki argued.

"HE GAVE DANCING A CHANCE EVEN WHEN HE'S BAD AT IT...Sorry, Midoriya!" Mina apologized. "BUT HE STILL GAVE IT HIS ALL!"

"HE SAVED ME FROM MY ANGER WHEN I WANTED TO KILL STAIN!" Iida continued to add fuel to the fire that burned within 2-A. "EVEN THE STAKES WERE AGAINST HIM; HE NEVER WALKED AWAY FROM A FIGHT.

"DEKU IS A HERO, THROUGH AND THROUGH! AND NOTHING YOU SAY WILL EVER CHANGE THAT!" Uraraka promised the villain.

The Chaos King sneered. He rolled his eyes and gestured to the hero in front of them. "If that's all true, then why isn't the Symbol of Peace saying anything?"

Uraraka and Kirishima eyed Deku and saw that he didn't react to their praises. "If I was a gambling man, which I am, then I'm betting that he doesn't share your praises," the villain claimed.

It took a few more moments before Deku did anything. He released a deep sigh that he had been holding and stepped forward. "Well then, Your Highness, I only have one thing to say."

At that moment, his Quirk activated. His body swelled, catching Uraraka's attention as he transformed for battle. "You have never said something so wrong."

The Chaos King sneered at the hero. "I busted drug and weapon cartels throughout Japan, including human traffickers. I will not shine the light of humanity on men and women who believe that selling a young girl is a good thing!" Deku began. "I busted the bunkers of known terrorist organizations and tore them apart, keeping millions of people safe from the next 9/11 and! I've sunken boatloads of Trigger and Instant-Nomu serum, costing you millions!"

He stomped the ground, cracking the asphalt and startling the class behind him. "And I do inspire fear into villains. I proclaim with my actions that the Symbol of Peace is strong and persistent in every country on Earth. I'm not afraid to use my power to make the world safer at the expense of peace for villains like you!"

Deku clenched his fists. His eyes shone bright green as he activated Full Cowl. "I am, and always will be, the Symbol of Peace!"

When Uravity finished her phone call with Mandalay before their time travel adventure began, her heart felt heavier than steel.

The Chaos King stole Eri's Quirk. He and his associates kidnapped her and held her captive for 5 hours. At that time, Rewind became the property of the Discord Organization. While that wasn't new information, Mandalay's call revealed something new.

When Eri was rescued, she was given a thorough medical exam. Besides her missing Quirk, there was nothing out of the ordinary. Before the massive raid against the Discorders, Mandalay approved another medical exam at Tiger's recommendation. Someone's Quirk altered Eri's memory, and it was undone during her outburst at U.A. There was evidence of her body being rewound multiple times.

Eri was tortured, much like how Overhaul used her to produce the Quirk-destroying bullets. Uravity knew that if the Chaos King used that against Deku, his anger would cloud his judgment, giving the villain a chance to steal One for All. The Anti-Gravity Hero was worried about what would happen if she didn't show up in time. She wasn't concerned about One for All being taken.

She was worried that Deku would kill the Chaos King the same way he killed All for One.

Sitting behind her on the Time Cycle was Creati, and she noticed how tense Uravity was feeling. "Hey, Ochaco?" She checked on her.

Uravity didn't say anything. "Look, Midoriya will be okay. He's the Symbol of Peace for a reason," Creati said.

"I know, but I'll always worry about him. You remember how he was after Tokyo, and I don't want that to happen again." Uravity glanced at an appearing light being connected by two strands of energy. "Izuku needs someone to keep him from going too far. He cannot kill the Chaos King."

Creati sighed. As one Universe formed, another was destroyed. "I remember talking to him after Tokyo. He blamed himself for the destruction we faced. He still blames himself."

Uravity nodded. "I know. Let's focus on saving Izuku."

The two rode in relative silence for a few moments before a roll of thunder approached. The two heroes jumped as lightning appeared around them. "W-What's going on?" Creati asked.

"Deku and I experienced this when we were coming back from Paris. We're entering another universe!"

The Time Cycle lurched forward. "HANG ON!"

"TO WHAT?!"

As they rode, a universe appeared in front of them. The Cycle slowed down as they approached. "I NEED TO PUT MORE POWER INTO BREAKING INTO THE UNIVERSE. I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU HANG ON TO; HANG ON!"

Uravity gunned the Cycle as they pressed into the skin of the Universe. We're on our way, Izu...

The Chaos King stood silent against Deku's proclamation. The Symbol of Peace growled and deactivated his gauntlets. "I'll be taking back my younger self. Once he's safe, I'll kick your ass into the next century!"

He pocketed the Full Gauntlets and unzipped his jacket. "Creati, Ingenium, I need you both to stay here," Deku said.

"Ar-Are you sure?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"We can provide support," Iida said.

Deku shook his head. "You are forbidden from interfering. The Chaos King is my fight and my responsibility," he ordered.

Deku slipped off his jacket. "I will rescue Izuku. Everything will be okay."

The Symbol of Peace dropped his jacket, revealing a black compression shirt. The jacket slammed into the ground, cracking the asphalt. Iida jumped while Yaoyorozu inched toward the jacket.

She grabbed it and tried to lift it. "By the Saints, this is heavy. How were you wearing that?" She asked.

"How heavy is that?" Iida wondered.

Deku smiled. "You don't want to know."

The Chaos King turned to Wolfram. "Summon your strongest," the Discorder boss said. "If I cannot have One for All willingly, I'll pull what I can from his slowing heart."

The villain smiled. "Give me the device, and I can squash him myself!"

The Chaos King rolled his eyes. "I suppose you are owed the strength of a demigod. DISCORDERS!"

With a mighty bellow, the Chaos King summoned his crew. An army of villains of various body sizes and Quirks appeared wearing the Discord suits. Some of them had firearms aimed at the heroes. Some of Wolfram's old crew from I-Island appeared. Behind them, the Instant-Nomu guarding Izuku formed ranks.

With a clap, Wolfram started controlling the shipping crates around him. "TAKE THEM ALL OUT! AS FOR THE FALSE PRO...SHOW HIM THE COMBINED POWER OF TRUE CHAOS!"

Deku cracked his knuckles and smiled. "Count the seconds."

The villains charged at the young group of heroes. With a crack of thunder, Deku disappeared in a flash of light. Some of the villains charging hesitated when they saw him disappear. An Instant-Nomu scanned the battlefield and threw a punch at nothing. Deku appeared above the Nomu's fist and countered with a kick. The kick landed, sending the monster into a shipping container.

The group of villains watched Deku land in front of them. The Symbol of Peace stomped toward them, shattering the concrete under his feet. He threw his arms back, opening up his chest in the process. "CHICAGO..."

Deku slammed his hands together, sending a shockwave of energy into the crowd. "...SMASH!"

The shockwave sent the more minor villains flying. The only villains unaffected were the bulkier ones, including a few Nomu. One of the villains with an egg-shaped head stepped forward. His body grew and turned purple, revealing the hulking villain that Bakugo fought on I-Island. The monstrous form of Daigo leaped at the Symbol with a mighty roar.

Deku smiled. He leaped out of the way as Daigo smashed the ground. "STAY DOWN, RUNT!"

Daigo threw punch after punch, missing the Symbol by a hair. Deku kept his smile as he continued to back away from the hulking villain's punches. His back braced against an abandoned forklift, giving the villain an opening. His punch missed, but he grabbed the heavy construction equipment and swung it at the hero. Deku dropped to the ground, avoiding the close swing.

Deku shot up and pushed the vehicle out of Daigo's grasp. It bounced away before floating into the air. Deku gasped as he saw a mountain of metal starting to form. He saw the Chaos King and Wolfram being carried by slabs of metal while Izuku was being taken behind the hill. His glance gave the hulking villain a chance to punch the Symbol in the face, sending him through two shipping containers before stopping at a third.

Daigo laughed as Deku shook the dust out of his hair. The villain roared and leaped over the boxes to smash into the young hero. "LOOKS LIKE I'M ALL THE KING NEEDED TO TAKE YOU DOWN!"

Before he made an impact, Daigo found himself flying through the air by a strong gust of wind. His flight was cut short when a rogue shipping container slammed into him, sending him through the air. He crashed near the abandoned cargo ship.

Daigo's crash spurred the remaining villains to fight. Three Instant-Nomu led the charge with several Quirked villains behind them. Deku sighed and activated Full Cowl once again. He slipped through the advancing Nomu and body-slammed into the biggest Discorder villain he could find, a bulky man with thorns growing all over his body. The villain slammed into a wooden crate, causing him to stick to it with his thorns.

The other villains were easier to dispatch. Deku's speed and his open-palmed strikes sent them flying without leaving too many bruises. Bakugo watched with wide eyes as he focused on the Symbol's movements.

With the last Discorder out of the way, Deku turned and fired Blackwhip, entangling two of the Nomu while missing the last one. "Wait your turn!" Deku declared as he threw them deep into the steel sea around them.

The Nomu charged at Deku and swung. The young hero slipped under its attack and followed up with numerous jabs to the stomach. As Deku suspected, his initial punches didn't faze the monster. As the Nomu swung again, Deku dodged and used his speed to continue throwing punches.

Bakugo narrowed his eyes as the cycle repeated. When All Might fought that thing at the U.S.J, he didn't dodge those punches. He took those heavy hitters head-on, but Deku? He's bobbing and weaving like this is a boxing match. He's as tough as All Might was, but why is he dodging?

Deku speared the Nomu and lifted it off its feet. He slammed the Nomu onto the ground, jumped over the head, turned around, and punched it in the brain. The impact left a crater underneath. Deku landed a few more punches before stopping. The Nomu wasn't moving, and the brain started sinking into the ground.

He beat it into submission...but he didn't overwhelm it. Why?

The two Nomu rushed Deku from the steel sea. "When you have absolute power, the first thing you want to do is flaunt it," Deku mumbled. "You can overwhelm any opponent, but you're fighting with feeling alone."

He weaved through their punches while backing away. "Fighting with a structured form can make you predictable, but it has numerous mental and spiritual benefits. Self-discipline makes you a better fighter and a better human!"

Deku crouched and landed several strikes into the gut of one of the Nomu. The monster folded into itself while the other started swinging wildly. "Control your heart. Focus on your task, and remember to keep your spirit. If you allow your emotions to get in the way..."

The last Nomu lunged for Deku, but the pro hero backflipped out of reach. He landed on his hands, angled his feet toward the Nomu, and pushed toward it. With his speed, Deku closed the gap between himself and the Nomu. The monster couldn't react in time when steel boots slammed into its head.

The Nomu tumbled back. Back on his feet, Deku advanced by launching blow after blow. "You will fall like a mindless monster."

The Nomu stepped back and screeched. The soundwave was enough to stagger the hero, opening him up to an attack. The monster clapped its hands together, attempting to crush Deku's head from the sides. The Symbol of Peace dropped into a horse stance and braced his arms to block the attack. With its arms stopped, the Nomu couldn't react before taking several high-speed punches in the chest.

Deku swapped his speed for strength with the last punch, sending the Nomu into an open shipping container. It crashed into the appliances inside, causing the doors to seal shut. The container spun around, locking the monster inside.

With the last Nomu dealt with, Deku looked up at the top of the metal mountain. Wolfram and the Chaos King were sitting safely while overlooking the fight. With Enhanced Sight, Deku saw Wolfram glowing purple.

Realization struck him. "A Quirk Amplification Device?!" He called out.

The Chaos King smiled. "I never leave home without one," he responded. "And it's all thanks to you and All Might all those years ago!"

Wolfram smiled. "Stealing the tech was supposed to be easy, but your interference changed that. One of my boys was conscious enough to download the schematics and send them off before being arrested. Who would've thought that the Discorders would find it first?"

Deku growled. "Well then, what's another piece of Discorder tech shattering in my hand?" He leaped through the air and onto a flying piece of metal.

The Symbol of Peace rode around the metal mountain, looking for Izuku. He managed to spot him circling the structure, but he sank into the metal sea before Deku could grab him with Blackwhip. Realizing that defeating Wolfram would allow him to rescue his younger self, Deku flew through the air, leaping from metal slab to metal slab. While he could've used Float, he decided to use the terrain to his advantage and avoid being swept away by the debris.

Deku landed on a sheet of steel and used it to spin around before targeting Wolfram and the Chaos King. He launched toward them with a fist poised to strike. He was close to striking when Danger Sense perked up.

To his left, he saw a pillar of metal coming at him. Readjusting, Deku fired a gust of air at the structure, shattering it to pieces. The Chaos King smiled as another pillar came from behind the hero. Danger Sense registered too late as the pillar smashed against his back and crashed into the concrete Earth below.

"DEKU!" The class collectively screamed.

The Symbol of Peace groaned. His compression shirt was torn. With the dust settling and the hero reemerging, his bare torso was exposed, earning several gasps from the onlookers.

From his right pec, all the way to the shoulder joint, was a familiar spiderweb scar. Unlike All Might's, the skin behind the scar was burning bright red and appeared cracked like concrete. The scar itself was glowing purple, almost appearing fresh. More faint cracks of purple wrapped around his shoulder and down to his stomach.

All Might's eyes widened. "All for One...what have you done?" His whispered.

The Chaos King smiled. "Lo and behold, proof of war! You wear that with honor, Deku!" He taunted.

Deku growled. Danger Sense flared as two Nomu charged at him. The hero activated Full Cowl and prepared to meet them head-on, but the coil of a snake wrapped around him. Another bioengineered human!

The Nomu kept his arms apart as its tail appeared. It had the stinger of a scorpion and was poised to strike. Deku fired Blackwhip from his mouth, holding the tail in place. Another tail appeared with another stinger and immediately stabbed at the center of his scar.

A burning white pain shot through Deku as he screamed. His right hand twitched, and One for All surged through him. He forced his arms together, ripping the Nomu in half. He threw the torse of the creature in one direction while the rest of the body fell limp. The relief only lasted for that long before the two Nomu grabbed him and delivered several punches to him.

Blood leaked from the Symbol as the Nomu continued their assault. Before they could do any more damage, Paraly-Stare flashed, freezing them in place. Deku grabbed one of them by the face and smashed his elbow into it. He brought his free hand back around for a punch across its face, disabling it.

Deku angled a hand toward the other Nomu. Flattening his hand, Deku growled out, "EDGESHOT STYLE!" and fired thin and sharp strands of Blackwhip, piercing through the Nomu's head. The monster collapsed, giving the young hero a chance to breathe.

Deku hunched over and panted heavily. He glanced at his scar. Getting reckless, Izuku...

Danger Sense flared. Deku focused on the metal mountain as a scrap cube came crashing down on him. He caught the cube and tossed it away, only for more to overwhelm him. Wolfram buried Deku in tons of steel from the scattered shipping containers.

Some of Class A were about to rush in to save Deku, but they stopped as Wolfram made a spiked gate in front of them. Jiro's earphone jacks were wiggling as she got close while Ashido tried melting the barricade.

High above in the metal monster, the Chaos King watched the young heroes react. "If any of them break through, kill them. We can change the future while erasing Deku's past," he commanded the metal villain.

Wolfram held his hands out. His face was strained as his fingers flexed. "He's resisting far more than All Might did. He's tougher than he looks," he groaned.

"He's still human. Kill him before he gets his second wind!"

Wolfram pushed harder, causing more steel cubes to clump together against Deku. Under the pile, the Symbol of Peace struggled to hold the metal back. Because of Nomu's attack, his scar was opened, and blood started pouring from the wound's center. His muscles burned, and sweat dripped onto the concrete.

Deku continued to struggle and noticed spikes forming from the metal he was holding. The points were growing toward him, making the bad situation worse. Blackwhip formed from his back and started pushing outwards, attempting to give him some room. Full Cowl burned bright as he pumped more of his strength into surviving.

Deku's attempts were working as he noticed the steel prison start to lift from the ground. His moment of success was immediately crushed as more weight came down on him. Without a steady supply of air due to the layers on top of him, his muscles burned hotter as his strength started to fade. He fell to one knee, the metal prison seemingly shrinking around him.

Wolfram couldn't hide his glee. "DIE, HERO! DIE FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME ON I-ISLAND!"

The Chaos King watched with mixed emotions. His victory was within his grasp at the expense of One for All. He watched, waiting for a miracle on Deku's part. No matter how often he had the hero backed into a corner, he always found a way to overcome it.

He was about to give up on the Symbol of Peace when he heard a musical car horn. An explosion rocked him immediately afterward.

Hello everyone! I know I said I was getting better at these updates and they wouldn't take too long, but life likes to change that.

Halfway through writing this, I got COVID. I'm thankfully doing better, with a rogue cough here and there. Work got busy, and I've been trying to get into reading physical books. I've been reading Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology and branching out from there. Please give it a read when you get the chance.

I'll keep working on publishing more chapters soon, so be patient pls.

I hope you all have a great day/night, and I'll be back with another chapter soon. Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays!

GO BEYOND!
