Welcome to my new story:

Time keepers guide to Heroing!!

This is gonna be a bit complicated, more in terms of what the title actually means for this story, you'll see soon enough.

No it's not false advertising, just read and see for yourself in time.

Again, I'm aware I'm a story starter, but this idea wouldn't leave me be. And this will give me the chance to recharge myself before getting back to my other stories.

This is my newest Isekai story! (As you might already be aware of one of my other stories "Mylove Nozomi Sanyu")

PS, I will let you know in the Author's Note at times when the perspective of the story and character will change so there will be no confusion.

Without further ado, please enjoy!

It was somewhat rare for him to go jogging at night with his mentor, let alone in his neighborhood, but it did serve several purposes.

1: Getting a good workout as part of his training to get into UA.

2: This will allow All Might to get familiar with where he lives in case something comes up.

And 3: It was a good distraction for himself as he had too much on his mind, such as his worries about the upcoming exams and how he can do more in his schedule without worrying his mentor or his mother.

While they have 10ish months until the exams start it didn't hurt to get some extra body buildup done.

And For Izuku Midoriya he was going to give it his all, just like UA's motto: Go beyond, Plus Ultra!

Eventually they stopped at the center of the park to take a breather.

As he was taking a drink from his water bottle, he heard All Might, in his thin form in an oversized track suit (for once outside of his usual attire) that was a similar teal color to his, ask him:

"So my boy, I've been meaning to ask, how has school been? Has there been any issues lately?"

"Nope, everything's fine." He replied automatically with a small smile, capping his bottle as he fought to not show him how he actually felt about that subject.

He gave his student a smile in return as he said, "That's good to hear."

Oh how he hated lying to his hero like this, even if he was only half lying.

Don't get him wrong, things at school were a bit more manageable since Kacchan (Known by his real name Katsuki Bakugo) hasn't caused him any trouble since the incident with the sludge villain.

Sure he still scowled at him sometimes and his other classmates still tease him here and there, but other than that things were going fine for him.

Though this still makes him nervous as he didn't know how long this would last, when the bubble will burst, when the other shoe will drop, yet he hoped that his ... friend... was just setting his priorities on the upcoming exams for UA as he was going to attend it, and so was he.

Due to him being quirkless, it would be difficult to pass the physical part of it, but with All Might's help in getting his body in shape so he can inherit his hero's quirk, he was sure he'll make it.

He wasn't going to give up no matter what may come, even if Kacchan got mad at him (Which by everybody else would be an understatement) for going to the exams anyways, ignoring his warning, he was going to be a hero who saved everyone and gave them hope.

...Even if it meant lying to his mentor as he does his mother regarding his school life.

"How about you All Might, how has your day been?" Izuku asked him curiously, wanting to subtly change the subject as he didn't want to dwell on it for too long.

Thankfully the older man didn't notice, or seemed too, as he responded, "My day has been well, surprised that there weren't any major incidents, aside from some minor issues that were easily manageable I was able to take it easy today."

Izuku nodded, relieved at that as he was well aware of his time limit and of how much It really affected him.

He was still concerned about him even with his assurances, but nonetheless he trusts his mentor enough to set that aside for now.

He'd still be on the lookout in case something occurred, besides, knowing that the man mostly got a day off for once was good and allowed him to relax.

Still it felt surreal that he was here, training with his hero, knowing his secrets, training to receive his quirk and get into UA, it felt like he was dreaming yet he had already pinched himself enough to prove otherwise.

He wasn't sure what would've happened if he never met All Might that day... and never really wanted to as the latter would be... unpleasant, to put it simply (even if it was a gigantic understatement).

Still everything up until now was pretty crazy, he honestly didn't think that things could get any crazier than this.

Oh how wrong he was about to be.

"So All Might, do you know if you'll-?" Izuku was cut off when, without warning, the two were greatly startled by a loud screaming coming from close by as it sounded like a females distressed cry of fright.

"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Izuku asked frightened yet alert as he and All Might looked around wildly for where the scream had came from.

"SOMEONE NEEDS HELP!" His mentor exclaimed, his voice now serious and urgent as he "Puffed up" into his signature muscle form, determination clear on his face.

"HEEEEEEEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!!"

Screeched the voice in fear as this allowed them to know where the voice was coming from, with Izuku hanging unto his mentor in the heat of the moment as he sprinted to the source as fast as a bullet, the two headed northeast in the forestry part of the park.

Eventually the two came upon what looks like a literal ripple in the fabric of reality as it gave off a misty black and purple coloring to it. The way it looked it looked almost like the cut itself was made of a more Misty nature rather than that of a knife cutting through it.

"HELP-PLEASE! SOMEBODY-HELP-ME!!!"

Came the voice again as the two now knew that it was coming from there.

"ALL MIGHT!" Izuku, who had already let go of his mentor's left arm, exclaimed as his mentor, Not needing to be told, understood as he reached the tear and with all his might pried it open, ripping like paper as the two saw who was screaming for help.

Inside the black and purple void of darkness they could see that it really was a girl, just about the same age as Izuku, light wood brown hair in 2 braided buns (Which were rather large), light uranian blue eyes, pale (but otherwise healthy) tan skin, wearing what appears to be a school uniform as she wore a simple white button up long sleeve shirt under a teal vest with a weird looking emblem on the left breast pocket, a dark teal skirt going to the knees, black leggings, white indoor running shoes and a grey sling-on backpack that even from a distance looked like it had seen better days. A look of deep fear plastered on her face as tears were falling wildly from her eyes as she ran like a mad woman on a mission as she had the tall tale signs of having been running through a forest as dirt and twigs were present in her hair, her face and clothes (the shoes especially).

Running by her side was a dog, a German Shepherd to be exact who looked perhaps only a few years old, wearing a bright red collar with a gold metal tag hanging from it.

The moment their eyes met hers did they see fear and desperation within, the desire to not be killed nor kidnapped, looking for hope. Screaming for help much as her voice did.

Everything else that happened after was all in equal parts slow motion and bullet time to the number one hero as his student quickly reached out to grab her and upon seeing this she reached out to him as well, sprinting with all of her might to get to them.

Black tendrils with red linings, The kind he knew of all too well as for a brief moment there was fear but soon replaced with anger, came shooting from out of nowhere nearly struck the girl but never reached their target as her German Shepherd, having seen it, lunged at the tendrils and bit down with every ounce of force and strength it could muster as with all of its might it tore the tendrils off from the rest of them as a scream of pain from a disembodied male could be heard throughout the void as they retreated back into the darkness.

The dog didn't stop running as it, After spitting out that which it had been off, continued to run by his mistress's side as finally, the hands of the two children met as Izuku pulled her out with all of his might, arm first then using the other hand to grab the back of her vest around the right shoulder and yanked her to pull her out of the portal completely with her dog leaping right by their side as the children fell to the ground away from the void.

As soon as they were in the clear All Might unleashed a powerful Texas smash in the portal, unleashing a powerful wind vacuum that was so hard and fast that the portal imploded and closed in on itself, disappearing as if it never was there in the first place.

He didn't take a moment to let himself catch his breath as he turned to the children as they were still there where they landed as the girl clung to his student for her life as she started crying her eyes out all while panting from exhaustion, making it sound worse, the boy who was normally shy and skittish, Who would have most likely blushed as red as a cherry tomato at the prospect that he was holding a girl in his arms (The number one hero had to gander that he was shy around other people, especially when it came to the opposite gender), Just held her trying to comfort her knowing that she needed this (he'd freak out over this later) while the German Shepherd whimpered with worry trying to reassure the girl that everything was all right but at the same time fretting over her in concern, gently nudged its head against her face, weather it was to get her attention or to give her comfort was hard to tell as the dog was panting too from all the running.

Upon further examination it was clear that she had some injuries on her, most of which were minor as it seemed like she had a good number of rather minor scraps and bruises, which likely was from being chased in whatever sort of forest that she may have been running in prior to this as yes she did have signs of such.

But what was the most disconcerting, and this his student saw this immediately as well, after careful unbuckling the backpack strap from her to remove to backpack which felt heavier then it looked, was that of a dark red coloring that was seeping into her vest as it didn't take a genius to recognize that she was bleeding and from several different spots on her back, and given the fact that there was no indication that she got attacked from the back as her clothes were still in one piece along with her backpack which had some blood stains on there as well meant that she must have received injuries prior to being chased that hadn't healed at all and thus have been reopened from this.

Both student and mentor looked to the other before nodding knowing that she was in need of medical treatment and they needed to get out of there before her pursuers came back.

Without further delay, the number one hero quickly but with care picked up the dog in one arm and the children in the other as Izuku held her close to him along with her backpack which had been re-buckled while in his muscler arm before leaping into the air as the gang could feel the intense wind blowing against them.

Internally the man was angry, he knew those tendrils anywhere. He wanted to deny it knowing that the attack he had unleashed on him all those years ago should've killed him as they were far more grievous then his own, but deep in his heart he knew that his body was never found after their last confrontation, it was possible but he really didn't want it to be true that his mentor's killer and the killer of all who came before him, the world's true first supervillain was in fact alive.

Soon he turned to the girl still weeping in Izuku's arms, shaking violently, Her panting becoming heavier, face buried in his right shoulder. The poor soul undoubtedly was scared out of her mind and had been through a lot, without a doubt shaking from the pain that radiated from her back.

She was their only witness to what had happened, the key to it all was on her shoulders, but he won't pressure her as trying to get answers now would only hurt her more. Right now she needed medical treatment and needed to be in a calm environment before anything else could be said.

He wasn't cruel nor heartless, for that's not what he stood for.

Patience, assurance, gentleness and kindness were going to be the keys to this going smoothly. He was willing to set aside his questions until everything had calmed down.

Taking her to a normal hospital might be risky, if it really was who he thought was targeting the girl, so UA was their best and only option as if anyone could help her it was Recovery girl and at the same time the school itself would be the perfect place to keep her safe should things go awry.

Mindful of his grip and how he leapt so he wouldn't endanger the kids nor the dog as he soared to their destination.

The girls crying and trembling soon died down yet her head was throbbing and her mind was swimming, everything was aching, her back felt like it was inflamed in pain, feeling the wave of sleep trying to claim her yet she tried desperately to resist. Despite everything going on so fast she was coherent enough to know that she was safe and who she was with despite her vision being hazy.

She knew she didn't have long before she would unwillingly surrender to the darkest that rose within.

She needed to tell them, even if only enough to let them know that this was urgent.

"Ple-please..."

Her voice grew weaker with every second that passed yet still refusing to quit until she said it, with the last bit of energy she had she spoke:

"Mr. Yagi... Izuku... the future... is ...at stake... you.. need to .. know... b-before... it's ... too... late..."

With it all spent, everything went dark for her soon after.

This took some brain storming on how I wanted this to start. I came up with several ideas and eventually decided to go with this one. But thankfully I know what I want to happen next after this first chapter.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and please feel free to leave your review and tell me what you think.

Stay tuned to the next chapter, Until then, TTFN!!!!
