Emily woke up to the sound of her alarm going off. She slammed the button on top of her alarm to get it to stop. She snuggled into her daughter that was cuddled into her body. She kissed the top of her head before getting out of bed.

She jumped into the shower and suddenly she began to get nervous. She didn't know why. She really wasn't scared to meet new people but maybe it was the thought of seeing Aaron again. She knew that things weren't left on the greatest of terms and that was her fault. She knew that she should have said something but he would give her a reason to stay and she didn't want a reason .

When she got out of the shower, she looked over at her bed and noticed that her daughter was still soundly asleep. She smiled. It some ways it still feels like a dream. Emily has always been told that Natalia is her carbon copy but the truth is, Emily still doesn't see it. She only see's Natalias father, Levi, when she looks at her. In some way, it reminds her that Levi is always with her. She still misses him and wished that he could have seen his daughter grow up and she wished that Natalia had the chance to meet her father and know how much he loved her. For her to know how much of an amazing man he was. She wished Natalia got the chance to know how much she was wanted by her father, god did he want to be her father. She wasn't even born and yet and he was already so much in love with her. When he found out that Natalia was a girl, he nearly passed out. He would have been excited to have a boy but now that he was having a girl, he was thrilled. He could have had his princess. Starring at her daughter brought out all of those memories and even after all of these years, she still can't believe that he was gone.

Emily got dressed and headed down the stairs. It wasn't time to get Natalia up just yet, so she thought that it would be a good time to get her lunch ready for school.

She was in the middle of making her lunch when she heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Mommy?"

"in here baby. "

"Good morning Mommy."

"Good Morning, Talia. Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, I woke up for a second but I fell asleep again."

"Well good, here come on. Let's eat breakfast. "

"Okay." Natalia sat at the table and patiently waited for her breakfast.

Emily finished packing up her lunch when placed a bowl of cereal in front of her daughter.

As Natalia was eating breakfast, Emily went around and made sure that she had everything she needed. Phone, check. Wallet, check. keys, check. Go bag, check. She grabbed a few snacks out of the drawer and put them into her purse when she saw that Natalia was finishing breakfast.

"Okay Love. I need you to put your bowl in the sink and then head upstairs and get dressed for school. Brush your teeth too please. I will help you brush your hair if you need me too."

"Okay Mommy." she placed her bowl in the sink and headed for the stairs.

After a while, Natalia came down the stairs in her outfit, teeth brushed and her hair partially brushed.

Emily giggled when she saw her daughter walking down the stairs. When she came closer, she grabbed the brush out of her daughter's hand and gently brushed the rest of her hair.

There was a knock at the door. Emily looked at her watch and saw that it was around the time Marissa would show up to take Natalia to school.

"Come In."

"Good morning Marissa." Natalia said as the woman opened the door

"Well good Morning Talia and Good Morning Emily. "

"Good morning. Marissa. Did you get home late last night?"

"No not too late. I left a little while after you came home."

"Oh okay. You could have stayed, I wouldn't have minded."

"I know but I figured you wanted to spend the morning with Natalia before you headed off for work."

"Yeah but you are always welcome here Marissa..' she looked over and gave her a smile. "Okay love bug. It's time for you to get going to school. Mommy has a long day a head of her so I'll call you later if I'm working late, okay?"

"Okay Mommy. I love you."

"I love you too baby. Very much. "

"Bye Emily." Marissa said as she held Natalia's hand out the door

"Bye. Marissa." Emily watched the door close.

She knew that her daughter had to go to school but a piece of her always left with her daughter. She hated being away from her but she knew that this was going to happen. She loved watching her daughter grow but she also kind of hated it.

She tried to avoid the tears, so she grabbed her keys, purse, and he go bag and headed out the door. She locked the door behind her and headed for the BAU.

When she arrived at the BAU, she took a deep breath. She was nervous. She tried distracting herself with other random thoughts but it didn't help. When she walked through the glass doors, she noticed that Hotch's light was on in his office. So she headed towards his office, she nervousness and the anxiety grew more when she came closer to his office door.

Finally, she knocked on the door and heard a voice
"Come in... "

"Good Morning,"

"Emily the briefing isn't for another hour, why are you here so early?"

"I wanted to get settled in and find my desk. I didn't want to be confused on my first day."

"Understandable. You'll have to go and speak with facilities management about a desk. You'll meet the rest of the team today."

"Thanks Hotch, Truly appreciate it. "

"No problem."

She walked out and headed for the facilities management office.

Once she got settled, she looked at the time. It was almost time for the briefing. The team was arriving when she was putting her stuff down into the desk.

"Good Morning, Im Derek Morgan." Derek said as he held out his hand

"Hi, Im Emily Prentiss, nice to meet you." she shook his hand

"You too, are you a new agent to our team?"

"I am. Today is my first day."

"Cool, I think you'll like it around here. JJ, Reid, Garcia, and Rossi should be arriving soon. "

"Are they all agents as well?"

"All of them are except for Garcia, she's our technical analyst ."

"Oh okay. Do we do briefing out here or do we have a specific place to go? Hotch didn't tell me that part." She said as she nervously giggled

"We brief in the round table room, come on I'll show you."

"Great. Thanks so much."

"Yeah no problem."

Aaron watched as Emily and Morgan introduced themselves to each other. He didn't know why but he felt some type of jealously. He didn't know why. He and Emily weren't together, as far as he knew, he didn't have any feelings for her. Why was he feeling jealous.

When the team started to gather, he got up and walked towards the round table room.

He closed the door behind him once he arrived into the round table room.

"Okay guys, before we start, I want to introduce you guys to our newest Agent, Emily Prentiss joined our team today. She has come from Chicago. I know you would like to further introduce yourselves, but please, we have a case to get to."

"Okay what do we got?" Morgan asked

"In Colorado, they have just found their fourth victim this morning. At first they thought it was a coincidence killings but now since the 4th victim appeared, they're calling it the work of a serial killer." JJ stated

"Okay, so what do we know about this unsub?" Reid asked

"So far, all victims have been women. They all have blue eyes and blonde hair. " Reid Stated

"Seems like all different MO's ." Emily stated

"Yeah stab wounds, Bullet wounds. and something else that I cant quite tell. " Rossi said as he looked up from the file.

"Rossi, I want you and Morgan to go the coroners once we land. Reid, I want you and I will go to the crime scene and JJ, I want you and Emily to go and visit the latest victims family. "

"Okay." Reid stated.

"This has to be the work of a group right? Are we really suggesting that its a single person killing in all different type of ways."

"I think Morgan is right, this might be the work of a group." Rossi said as he looked over at Hotch

"Which means we have to leave now, before another victim. The Colorado police are expecting us now. Grab your go bags and head on our way. Wheels up in 20."

As the team got up and headed to grab there things, JJ stood behind and waited for Emily.

"Hi, Im JJ. It's nice to meet you."

"Nice to met you as well. JJ. "

"If you want, you can come with me. Ill show you out to the Jet,"

"Sounds great, thank you so much. "

As they walked out to the Jet, Aaron gathered some things and watched from his window. He didn't know how or why but out of all of the people, it had to have been her.

When Aaron arrived at the jet, the rest of the team was introducing themselves to Emily.

And then they were off. They got on the jet and headed toward Colorado.

Hotch though, couldn't keep his mind off of her, nor his eyes. She made eye contact with him and he looked away.

Things weren't the same anymore. Time had gone by and they were older now. They had completely different lives and yet every time he looks at her, he still sees that teenage girl that he talked too in the rain that one night.

Her voice and laugh always stayed in his mind, it was almost like she was haunting him without her being dead.

She was sitting right in front of him, and yet it still didn't feel real.

He opened the case file again and just focused on trying to find this unsub.
