Chapter 9: The Teaching The Understanding

And after Rex had finally made his thoughts on his situation Rex went back into the building to tell Lionmoon his decision to accept or deny his new role in the city of the alien planet that he had been thrust upon.

When Rex was in the room and in front of Lionmoon Rex told Lionmoon that he was willing to give their civilization a try.

And after Lionmoon heard that Rex will give their civilization a try, Lionmoon started to teach Rex her people's culture.

When Lionmoon started teaching Rex her people's culture the song Strangers Like Me by: Phil Collins was playing in the background.

And after three minutes of learning Lionmoon's people's culture the song ended.

And still teaching her culture to Rex Hairclaw came into Lionmoon's lab to see how Lionmoon was doing not that he cared for Lionmoon because you see Hairclaw is a anthropomorphic lion who thinks that he is the most greatest thing in the universe and to put it bluntly Hairclaw is a no-down dirty smelling no good son of rattler which means big jerk.

When Hairclaw came into Lionmoon's lab to see how Lionmoon was doing teaching Rex their culture Hairclaw said to Lionmoon with a snobby tone in his voice" Lionmoon I can see that you're still trying to teach this disgrace of a life form or culture why don't you just give up on teaching him he's never going to understand our culture".

Then Lionmoon said to Hairclaw with an angry tone in her voice" because hairclaw you know as much as I do that is my duty to teach our culture to any person from any planet who gets turned into our race".

Then Hairclaw said to Lionmoon with an angry tone of his own in his voice" well Lionmoon I can see that with your morals that I could just tell that we're going to have a not so fine time with each other".

And seeing that Hairclaw did not have any fondness for her feminine Lionmoon said to Hairclaw with an angry tone of her own" well Hairclaw I can fairly tell you that I am also not decided on our arrangement either".

And seeing that Hairclaw and Lionmoon were gearing at each other with signs of hatred Rex said to them" come on guys let's just cool things down a little so let's stop with the death gears".

And not wanting to be ordered from someone who he thinks is a lower creature Hairclaw said to Rex with an angry tone in his voice" listen here you primitive creature don't think just because you're one of us that you could be one of us".

And hearing that Hairclaw was making fun of Rex said to Hairclaw with an angry tone in voice of his own" Well with lions like you why would you expect me to care"

And seen that his words didn't get under Rex's fur Haircraw stomped out of the lab knowing that he was just outwitted by a creature that he thought he outranked.

And after Hairclaw was out of the room Rex said to Lionmoon with an annoyed tone in his voice" geez does that guy always act like an asshole?

And hearing that Rex did not enjoy being in Hairclaws company Lionmoon realized that asshole must have been some kind of insult towards Hairclaw.

Realizing that Rex was insulting Hairclaw, Lionmoon said to Rex with a greeting tone in her voice" I must agree with you Rex I too find being in the same room with Hairclaw very insulting and I must say I would prefer to be in your company instead of his".

And hearing that Lionmoon was condimenting him Rex said to Lionmoon with a happy tone in his voice" well thank you ms Lionmoon I tried to get along with anyone I can and I must say that I hate to be in a room that involves with someone who has the same personality as mr personality".

And seeing that Rex did not look like he was an intelligent man Lionmoon saw that by Rex's words he showed his intelligence.

And seeing the intelligence shown by Rex's words Lionmoon said to Rex" Rex you do not show it but I could tell by your words that you are very smart for an Earthling".

And liking that Liomoon saw that he was not dumb Rex said to Lionmoon" Well I do as I can but still thank you for the compliment".

Then with a question in her mind Lionmoon said to Rex"you're welcome but I have one question to ask you".

And hearing that Lionmoon had a question for him Rex said to Lionmoon" okay Lionmoon shoot what's your question you want to ask me?

And seeing that it was okay for her to ask her question, Lionmoon said to Rex" Rex what does asshole mean?

Then to answer Lionmoon's question Rex said to Lionmoon" You see Lionmoon asshole is an insult it means Idiot imbecile loser a jerk".

And after hearing that her thoughts about the word asshole was an insult towards Hairclaw, Lionmoon said to Rex" Well then Rex your infestations are right he is what you humans call an asshole".

Then Rex felt something purring between his legs.

When Rex felt something purring between his legs Rex looked down between his legs and saw some kind of husky tiger thing between his legs.

Then Lionmoon saw that Rex's intention wasn't on her but was on something between his legs.

And wondering what Rex's intention was between his legs, Lionmoon looked at Rex's legs and saw her pet huskytiger named Tigma was purring between Rex's legs.

And after Lionmoon saw Tigma was purring between Rex's legs Lionmoon said to Rex" It seems Tigma likes you and let me tell you that is a great honor because Tigma is not always kind to strangers".

Then Tigma walked out of the room happily knowing that she made a new friend in Rex.

And after knowing that he made a new friend in the form of lion moons pet Tigma Rex said to Lionmoon" well then Lionmoon I guess your pet has good taste in friends".

Then Lionmoon had a thought about Rex home planet and having a thought about Rex home planet Lionmoon said to Rex" Rex I have an important question I want to ask you and I want you to answer me without a doubt".

Then Rex said to Lionmoon wanting to know what question she wanted to ask him" okay I mean I'll answer your question very truthfully if I can so go ahead and ask me your question and I'll try to answer it".

And wanting to know the answer to her question Lionmoon said to Rex" Rex the question I want to ask you is what was your home plan or like.

And I know the question on your face: how do I know you're from Earth.

You see back in the old days centuries ago the elders used to tell us stories about Earth.

So since I know you're from Earth I want to know what it looks like?

And hearing that Lionmoon wanted to know about his home planet earth Rex said to Lionmoon" Lion Moon let me tell you earth is just like your world big full of Chaos but it is also full of beauty like you have never seen before.

I remember the days that when I was a child I would always like to play in the sun and let me tell you those days that I remember playing in the sun bring me many days of joy.

And let me tell you you should really listen to our music. It will take your breath away".

And after hearing Rex talk about how beautiful and wonderful his planet was and Lionmoon also wondered to herself about what wonderful music his Planet had Lionmoon wonderedIf she would ever see how beautiful earth was or when she would be able to listen to what types of music his planet had.

And After Imagining the beauty of Rex's planet and wondering when she would ever listen to any music from Rex's world Lionmoon said to Rex" Rex by the way that you talk about your world your world must be beautiful and the way that you talk about your world music makes it sound like a beautiful melody that one day I could possibly listen to".

Then Rex remembered that he had an item in his backpack that could let Lionmoon listen to some music from his world.

And hearing that she could listen to music from Rex's world Lionmoon followed Rex's instructions and in no time Lionmoon started to listen to some music from Rex world.

When Lionmoon was listening to the music from Rex's world the song that Lionmoon was listening to was I Can't Help Falling in Love With You by Elvis Presley.

When Lionmoon was listening to the song Lionmoon shut her eyes and started to imagine the lovely images that the song had brought to her.

And still imagining the beautiful images that the music was giving her Lionmoon saw that Rex was rightabout his world music being amazing. And after three minutes of listening to the music the song ended.

And after the song ended Lionmoon said to Rex" Rex I got to tell you you were right the music it sounds wonderful".

And hearing that Lionmoon was enjoying the music from his world Rex could only agree to Lionmoons agreement.

Then with curiosity in her mind Lionmoon said to Rex" Rex do you mind if I ask you a question?

And hearing that Lionmoon had a question for him Rex said to Lionmoon" sure Lionmoon go right ahead ask me your question".

An unknown to Rex by telling her that she could ask her question to him he would be changing his and Lionmoons fate forever.
