As of 1/27/22, I saw the trailer for Disenchantment season 4. I don't know how much more my heart can take.
Chapter 14 – The Princess, The Elf, The Demon and The Wanderer Part 14
The traveling team of Bean, Elfo, Luci, and Koga rode the wagon through the dirt path after leaving Southwold. The wagon creaks and it bumps a couple of times as it rides over some rocks. Bean along with Elfo and Luci laid flat on their backs as they stared up at the cloud-covered sky. Bean closes her eyes then takes a deep breath of the fresh air and exhales. "Now this is the life," She said happily and she opens her eyes. She spots a bird flying overhead "Traveling the road with my best pales and being free as the bird that is flying in the sky right now. I'm ready for anything that comes our way!"
Luci was still laying on the mat in the carriage with a cigarette in hand and blowing out some smoke. Elfo was leaning on the side of the wagon looking out at the open fields from afar with an excited smile on his face. Bean lays up and she heads over to where Koga was sitting and sits next to him "So Koga the wanderer! What kind of Adventures should we be expecting to get into?" She asked curiously with a beaming smile.
"Hmm…" Koga began to think. "Well, we could get kidnapped by forest ghouls in an attempt to be sacrificed to some Demonic entity locked in a statue. Or maybe we run into some talking dog that takes us to a statue that had a sealed demon prince and we fight the people that worship it. OR! We find a book that sucks your mind into it and you fight a bunch of tentacle monsters that leads you to an ancient being that tries to get you to be his pawn…"
Bean, Elfo, and Luci all looked at him with shocked expressions. Bean would then say "Dude…you've been on some wacky ass adventures…"
"Why have all the adventures you've been in involved you either being sacrificed or dealing with some ancient demon?" Elfo asked in a concerned tone.
"I don't know!" Koga shrugged "It just happens! Life unpredictable!"
"I think I know at least two of the people you mentioned. One of them is a spoiled punk who can't grow a pair," said Luci as he takes a puff and exhales "And he's a bitch."
"I want to fight a demon! I fought Luci one time and hit him with a morning star," Bean said with a grin.
"And it didn't hurt so I don't know why you brought it up…" Luci said bitterly
Koga would just chuckle at the three "Anyways the world is crazy! But that's what makes it fun. All I can say is that we just keep going about what we're doing and we'll run into some crazy situations."
"Heck yeah!" Bean said with a grin.
"Let's just try not to run into any Ghouls ok?" Elfo said with a nervous laugh.
"If it involves Koga over here I'm sure we'll see one tonight," Luci said as he puts out his Cigarette.
Once the group had traveled a great distance they all hop out of the wagon to stretch their legs and nibble on some food to fill their stomachs. Elfo groaned a bit rubs his butt. "Man sitting in a wagon for a few hours can do some numbers on the bum-bum…" Koga lets out a yawn and then replies "You'll get used to it" He stretches his arms and then pops his back. Bean lets out a soft yawn then does a couple of stretches herself. "Man and I thought riding on a horse for hours was uncomfortable…" She said popping her neck a couple of times.
Once Elfo was done with a couple of stretches he looked up. In the sky were three vultures that were circling the spot close to where he was standing. Elfo looked forward and he began walking. As he got closer a figure could be seen lying on the ground face first. Elfo softly gasped and he runs over to the figure only to see that It was a body. The man's clothes worn torn and had slashes in them. His body was covered in slashes and his body had purple sore bumps on his arms, neck, and stomach. "Oh my god…" He whispered sadly. "This poor man…"
"Hey Elfo where'd you go?" Bean called out to him.
"Oh, I'm coming!" Elfo called back "I found this-AHHHHHH!" The body that Elfo was looking at suddenly grabbed his hand and stared at him with his bloodshot eyes. "HELP! YOU HAVE TO HELP MEEE!"
"ELFO!" Bean shouts as she along with Koga and Luci run over to where Elfo was. Bean picks up Elfo and pulls him away from the half-dead man. The man cried as he reached out his hand to the group and tries to crawl forward. "Help…help me…"
Luci stared at him "Sorry bud you're a goner. Come on gang let's hit the road." Luci said as he starts walking back to the wagon.
"Luci we can't just leave this guy here to die! We have to do something!" said Bean looking over at Luci.
"Sure we can! I'm doing it now!" said Luci.
Koga walked over to the man and kneels to him. The man was breathing harshly and he takes a look at the wounds. "You're one tough guy to make it this far like this…" He whispered to him. "What happened to you?" The man grips Koga's arm and he looks up at him "A witch…a powerful witch kidnapped me…I escaped but there are still people locked in her cell…I'm not sure how long they could last. She did horrible experiments on them…please…there my friends…there down past that rock heading into the forest…y-you…ha-to…"
The man went quiet as his head lowered to the ground. Koga placed a finger on his neck. The man had no pulse. "You held out as long as you could…" He whispered to the man. "You got your message out.."
"That poor guy…" said Bean softly as she stared at the man with a sad expression.
"We're not going waste time and go fight a witch are we?" Luci asked. "We can act like we never saw this guy and move on."
"Do you think you can just go along your day with this passed away man on your conscious?" Elfo asked in a fed-up tone.
"Elfo did you already forget where I come from?" Luci turned to Elfo with a, are you serious expression. "And let's not forget that big guy over here is still injured from his last big fight!" Luci points at Koga. "And we have a princess who's never fought a witch before!"
"Hey, I could probably sock a witch in the face! You don't know what I'm capable of!" said Bean defensively as she crossed her arms.
"Ok then battle princess. Can you shoot that lightning out of your fingers?" Luci asked staring up at Bean.
Bean thought about it for a moment. "I-I don't know I haven't had time to try it again!"
Right before Luci was about to say something Koga walked began heading towards the direction of the forest. "HEY! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" Luci called out to him "We're not going to gain anything from this so why even bother?!"
Koga stopped and turned to look at Luci "You can say whatever you want. You're a demon from hell so you wouldn't understand. But I'm not going to sit here and let a dying man's last wish go in vain. Even if I'm not 100% I've fought in worse conditions than this," Koga turns away from Luci and he continued walking.
Luci just groans "I swear humans have the stupidest reason's to-"
"KOGA WAIT UP!" said Bean as she ran back to the wagon and grabbed her sword.
"You too?" Luci said as Bean walked past Luci and Elfo.
"Look Luci you can stay behind and watch the wagon or something. Koga is right I couldn't just leave his dying wish up in the air like that!" She said as she continued to follow Koga.
Elfo walked past Luci while sticking his tongue out at him then follows Bean and Koga. Luci lets out another frustrated groan and gave in. He hurried along and caught up to the three as they all entered the forest.

The group heads into the forest and they walked down the narrow path. As they go deeper into the forest they begin to feel uneasy feelings creep over them. Elfo was the one that felt this as he grips his small knife "Man…this forest gives me goosebumps. Why are is there so many different weird and scary forests?" He said rubbing his arm.
"The forest is always a good spot for demons and monsters to come out and eat wandering travelers. Like us," said Luci "I mean you guys will die but not me so we're all good!"
"Thanks for calming words Luci…" said Bean sarcastically.
Luci was about to reply with something sarcastic but was cut off by the sound of a blood-curdling scream. Everyone stopped walking and they looked around to see where it came from.
"Whoa…for a second I thought I was back at the castle…" said Bean
"Blood-curdling screams are normal at the castle?" Elfo asked
"Oh yeah, we have a daycare, torture dungeon, and all of that," Bean said as she listed.
The blood-curdling scream happened once more and it was heard coming from straight ahead. Koga ran forward and the trio followed him closely. As they get closer to where the scream could be heard they find a large wooden home in the middle of the forest with spikes that had animal heads on it.
"Well that looks welcoming…" said Koga as he takes out his sword. "You guys ready to do this?"
"Uhh…y-yeah…" Elfo said with a shaky voice
"Let's do this!" said Bean griping her sword.
Bean and Koga rushed forward and Koga kick the door down to the hut. Inside the small home were walls filled with different types of plants and ingredients that Bean had never seen before along with markings on the wall used in blood. And standing in the middle of It was a woman with pale skin and long silky black hair. In front of the pale woman were two men hung up on a metal chain covered in blood. In the corners of the home were bodies of disfigured bodies with animal parts. The women turned around to face the group. Bean and Elfo gasped as the women's face looked as if it was a mixture of troll and a boar.
"WHOA, YOU ARE UGLY!" Bean shouts.
"WHO DARES DISTURB MY RESEARCH!" The witch shrieked.
"Let go of those bloody guys you have hung on the chains or else!" said Bean pointing her sword at her.
The witch took out an amulet from her pocket and it glows red. A fireball came shooting out from it and it was heading towards the group. "WATCH OUT!" Koga yells as everyone hopes out the way. The fireball blasted through a wall creating a hole in the small hole that was covered in fire. "HOLY SHIT!" Bean said in awe. This would be Beans first real encounter with a REAL magic-user.
"GET OUT! GET OUT, YOU MISERABLE BASTARDS!" The witch screamed as she hurled fireballs at them all.
Elfo screamed as he dodges the fireballs and hopes out of the way. Luci was opening his mouth and eating each one that came his way "Mmm Spicey!" He said licking his lips. Koga was using the flat ends of his sword to deflect the fireball and bat them away as he charged at the witch. Once Koga got close to the witch the amulet flashed blue and a shockwave burst from it knocking him back. "ARGH, I HATE FIGHTING WITCHES AND ROUGE MAGES!" He groaned.
Bean was able to get closer and she raised her sword to slash at the witch but the witch holds up her amulet and Bean froze in place. "W-WHAT?" Bean struggled to break free.
"BEAN I'LL SAVE YOU!" Elfo rushed forward with his knife in hand with Luci.
"ELFO WAIT!" Koga shouted as he rushed forward as well.
The Amulet glowed once more and it froze both Koga, Luci, and Elfo in place as well. "H-HEY! WHAT THE HECK?" Koga shouts.
The witch then turns her attention towards Bean "You have a lot of ferocity in you…" She said as she used the amulet to make Bean come closer. Once she did so the Amulet began shaking and stuttering. "What? What is this?" The witch said as she stared at the amulet in shock. "This has never happened before! What are you doing?" She said as she bats her eyes at Bean.
"I'm not doing anything!" Bean said as she struggled to get free. Then…Bean felt a sharp tingle go through her fingertips and she began groaning at the sudden rush she felt. It was the same feeling she felt back at Southwold's forest when facing the spiders. Black bolts of lightning shoot from the tips of her fingers and it hits the amulet. The amulet lets out a loud whale and the lighting reaches up to the witch causing her to scream in pain. The amulet's red color turned into a dark murky grey as the witch drops it to the ground and she falls back twitching. This caused the spell that was binding the group to break and they all could move freely again.
"Oh thank god that was uncomfortable!" said Elfo relived.
Luci was looking over at the witch who was on the ground out with smoke coming from her body. "Yeah…that's barbequed witch alright."
Koga walked over to Bean who was staring at her hands with a perplexed look on her face. "That…that lightning again…" she whispered. "I…I don't understand…what is that?"
"Princess Tiabeanie…."
Everyone looked around to see where that voice came from. "W-What was that noise?" Elfo asked as his ears perked around. He looks down at the amulet "It's coming from that thing!" He points at it.
Everyone looked at the amulet. Bean picks it up and stares at it. As she did so she could feel some sort of connection with it. Was this because she fired that lightning at it?
"You have graced me with the blissful powerful magic that I have never felt before. Your Magic is powerful and beautiful. But I sense the unknown within your mind. Tiabeanie, merge with me and become a powerful sorceress!"
Bean stared at the amulet. She then looks up at Koga "Yeah…yeah I see what you mean now…"
"Isn't crazy?" said Koga
"Oh yeah super crazy,"
"The amount of amulets that talked to me is CRAZY!"
"Like this is cool and weird at the same time like oh my god!" said Bean with a grin.
"I had a sword talked to me one time!" said Koga.
"ENOUGH!" The amulet shouts "MERGE WITH ME! LET US BECOME ONE!"
"Hold on hold on," said Elfo "This is weird! Why do you want to merge with Bean? What's the catch?"
"The catch is that Bean gets to use her finger lighting to her full potential! I say go for it!" said Luci as he hops on Bean's shoulder. "Think about it Bean. You can use this amulet to fully control your magic and destroy anything in your way! Doesn't that sound awesome?"
"Luci stop!" said Elfo glaring at him "That Amulet is dangerous! Why should we listen to something that was used by a witch?!"
"Because it's ours now? I mean we kept the dragon key, didn't we? Let's keep this!" said Luci "Come on let's see what it can do!"
Bean considered both of their opinions. Bean was curious about her magic and wanted to learn more. But…a talking amulet that a witch owned did make her second guess this. Was there a hidden catch involved with this amulet? What would become of Bean if she did use it?
Koga would take the amulet away from Bean and the trio turned to look at him. Koga held it tightly in his hand and gave a serious look to Bean "It's obvious isn't it?" He said as he stared at it. The Amulet's color began to stir. "UNHAND ME! RETURN ME TO THE GIRL!" It hissed. Koga just laughed "I'm not new to this. There have been many people who have found artifacts like you and have lost themselves and turned into what happened to that witch," Koga looks over at Bean "You're truly going to lose your freedom if you give yourself to this Amulet. You won't be you anymore."
Bean looks at the amulet and then up at Koga. Koga would then hold the Amulet out to Bean "But…the choice is yours. Don't let what I say stop you.."
Bean shook her head and pushed it away "You're right Koga. Even if I wanted to learn about why I have finger magic I'm sure this thing wouldn't show me anything." She said as she smiled up at him.
"NOOOOO! YOU STUPID GIRL! DAMN YOU!"
"Oh shut up," said Koga as crushed the amulet within his hands. The pieces of it fall to the ground.
Luci sighed "Seeing a crazy evil version of you would've been cool."
"No, it wouldn't!" Elfo said placing his hands against his hips and glaring at Luci.
"Ummm…" said one of the men hanging by the chain. "If you guys don't mind…can you get us down?"
The group looks up at the man. "Oh…" said Bean chuckling nervously "Sorry…Let's get these guys down!"

"So…" said Cloyd looking over at his sister "This Koga man has stopped Bean from using the Fiends' Amulet. If she had merged with that Amulet her power would have awakened and she would've been riped for the taking."
"Luci along with that Amulet would've made this corruption process so much faster!" said Becky in frustration.
"So…now what?" said Cloyd.
Becky looks over at her brother "It looks we will have to intervene brother." She said in a serious tone. Becky waved her hand across the fire and a figure appeared in the green flames. "Nicholas! Are you there?"
"Hm? Becky! This is a pleasant surprise!"
"Where are you right now?"
"I'm a tavern. Getting drunk off a bottle of beer. You need something?"
"What town are you in right now?" Becky asked urgently.
"Leaf wood. a few miles from where Southwold is."
"Perfect…listen here Nicholas…there's something important I need you to do…it involves our mission…"
