Long ago, the Great War was over. Cybertron was restored, many Transformers both old and new have returned to their home planet and the universe was at peace. Optimus Prime, the very leader of the Autobots sacrificed his very spark to restore the Well of Allsparks and he passed the torch to Ultra Magnus to have him take his place as the new leader of the Autobots. Since then, after Optimus Prime had become one with the Allspark (the afterlife), the Decepticons have fallen into obscurity without a leader and for five long years, the universe seemed to be at peace...that is until the Decepticons have chosen a new leader, an evil mech by the name of Doomsayer. Doomsayer was the faithful servant of an evil god known as Unicron the Chaos Bringer and he wanted to finish what Megatron started, but in his own way by leading the Decepticons in which he renamed the New Decepticons through anarchy and chaos instead of peace through tyranny. Doomsayer had threatened to destroy Cybertron and Earth as he began his quest to find Unicron and his Anti-Spark so that he can revive the Chaos Bringer at the Earth's core which would ultimately lead humanity to extinction and Doomsayer who would later be renamed "Galvatron" had plans to help Unicron destroy his celestial twin-brother and our life-giver, Primus so that he could conquer the galaxy by his side.
But thankfully, the spirit of Optimus Prime had chosen a young mech to be the Autobots' only hope at stopping Doomsayer and his evil New Decepticons: Orion Eclipse, the long-lost son of Megatron and his long-lost conjunx-endura (spouse), Firestar. Although many believed that Orion was destined to become the next Prime by wielding the legendary Sword of Primus, it was later revealed that the sword was meant for someone else to become the next Prime: an Autobot lieutenant by the name of Bumblebee. When Doomsayer finally managed to free Unicron, he put the entire universe at great risk, but just when it seemed like all hope was lost, Optimus Prime returned from the Allspark to help his friends prevent Earth, Cybertron, and the galaxy from being destroyed. In the end, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Orion Eclipse, and his father, Megatron teamed up to destroy Doomsayer after he had been reformatted into Galvatron and with the power of the Sword of Primus and the Matrix of Leadership altogether, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee alongside Megatron and his son were able to help Primus defeat his brother, Unicron and his Herald, Galvatron, once and for all, resulting in saving the Earth and its humans from being destroyed.
Cybertron was also saved from being destroyed and as for the Autobots and Decepticons, well Orion Eclipse played his part as the peacekeeper as he declared that both sides should end their never ending war with each other with his declaration of Peace Through Unity and have the Decepticons and Autobots change from being mortal enemies with each other to becoming allies with each other in order to stop Unicron and his Herald from destroying Primus and save both the Earth and Cybertron. In the end, after the universe had been saved, Orion Eclipse succeeded his father, Megatron, as the rightful leader of the Decepticons and he was more fit and qualified to be the new leader of the Decepticons than Starscream because we all knew that the seeker would abuse his power if he were to rule the Decepticons after Megatron and Doomsayer. Altair Comet, the daughter of Optimus Prime and Elita-One, had also succeeded Ultra Magnus and she became the new leader of the Autobots with Orion Eclipse by her side as her conjunx-endura, and together, they both have unified their peoples as they sparked a new Golden Age on Cybertron. Optimus Prime got to spend his final hours with his family and friends before he returned to the Allspark, promising that he would return again one day and as for Bumblebee, he became the next Prime known now as Hivemus Prime for the Sword of Primus had found him pure of spark and worthy into becoming the next Prime after Optimus. As for Megatron, he went to retire on Earth with his conjunx-endura, Firestar now renamed "Novastar" while Altair Comet's mother, Elita-One stayed on Cybertron.
A lot has changed since the day the second great war was put to a halt. The Autobots and the Decepticons are no longer enemies with each other with Orion Eclipse and Altair Comet as their leaders and peacekeepers, the evil Doomsayer a.k.a Galvatron and Unicron the Chaos Bringer had been vanquished and are now dead, and everyone has moved on with their lives. However, not all Cybertronians are willing to change for the betterment as the evil, power-hungry, and cowardly seeker, Starscream retreated with the last remaining New Decepticons who are still loyal onto him and their previous leader, Doomsayer a.k.a Galvatron and they all went into their own exile after Megatron and his son disrupted Starscream's "coronation" to prevent him from becoming the new leader of the Decepticons. Since then, the Autobots and their Decepticon allies have tried to find Starscream and his New Decepticon followers so that they can capture the war criminals and bring them all to justice in order to prevent them from restarting the second great war, should they ever return from exile in deep space. Nevertheless, the universe is saved, Cybertron is saved, the Earth is saved and when there's evil, good will rise up against it.
"Um, Mr. Bee?" a child's voice said.
Bumblebee, now known by his Prime name as 'Hivemus Prime' snapped back to reality when he heard the little kid's voice as he was just finished with recapping the story of Transformers: Prime: The New Beginning.
"Pardon?" Bumblebee a.k.a Hivemus Prime asked.
"Could you shorten the story recap next time?" an Autobot sparkling asked.
"Why yes, of course." the yellow Autobot Prime replied.
Hivemus Prime was spending his past time telling stories to a group of young sparklings (Cybertronian kids) who were wanting to hear and learn about the history of how the Autobots and Decepticons came together and how both sides have changed from mortal enemies into becoming allies with each other. Bumblebee a.k.a Hivemus Prime was spending quality time with the sparklings, some of which are from their Autobot or Decepticon parents who were named, Rapidtwitch, Shattershock, Cascade, Ford Runner, Trailfire, Rotorcharge, Requiem, Starsurfer, Novagate, Lunargate, Light Nebula, Voltage, Blitzstrike, Sparkplug, Deftron, Cloudracer, Stardust, and Medix (Ratchet's nephew). Hivemus sat up as he was done with his recap in front of the Cybertronian children and most of them were yawning because of how long the story recap was.
"Does anyone wanna take a nap to recharge?" Hivemus asked the sparklings.
"I do," Rotorcharge said. "Aw, but I wanna hear more stories." His twin brother, Trailfire complained. "Seriously?" Deftron said. "Now, now, sparklings. Now, I think that storytime is over. I think that we could all use some rest. Which reminds me, your parents are here to pick you up and take you guys back home." Hivemus told the sparklings.
"Mr. Bee? Whatever happened to Doomsayer or Galvatron or Unicron?" Cascade asked.
"Well, Doomsayer renamed himself 'Galvatron' before he got his head chopped off by Orion Eclipse and Unicron was blown up when Primus defeated him, and now his remains are lost in deep space," Hivemus explained.
"Will Starscream ever be coming back?" Starsurfer asked.
Hivemus Prime paused before he answered. "No, I don't think so. I don't think that seeker will ever be coming back for revenge," he said.
"What is revenge?" Trailfire asked.
"It means inflicting hurt or harm on someone for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands," Hivemus answered.
Once the parents arrived to pick up their kids from the sparkling daycare, the sparklings said goodbye to their substitute teacher, Hivemus Prime, that they call, "Mr. Bee" because his original name was Bumblebee.
"Goodbye, Mr. Bee!" Said the sparklings. Hivemus waved goodbye to the children before he transformed into his vehicle mode and drove over to visit Hot Rod and Blurr.
He traveled over to Autobot City where the Autobots and Decepticons welcomed the next Prime. Bumblebee a.k.a Hivemus Prime transformed back into his robot mode and then he went to find his friends. He found Blurr in the midst of the crowd and he greeted him.
"Hey, Blurr." Hivemus greeted the Autobot.
"Hello, Bumblebee—ah, I mean, Hivemus Prime. How are you today?" Blurr asked.
"I'm doing good. Just got back from the sparkling daycare. Where's Hot Rod?" Hivemus asked. "He's on a date with his boyfriend, Springer. It's their anniversary." Blurr replied. "Oh. Well, I was going to invite you guys out for a car race. But it seems like today is not the time." Hivemus said. Blurr patted the yellow Prime on the shoulder. "It's great to see you again, Bee." He told him. "Thanks. How's our leaders doing?" Hivemus asked. Blurr replied, "You mean Orion Eclipse and Altair Comet? I have no idea what they're up to. Probably performing their duties at maintaining peace between Autobots and Decepticons." Blurr frowned with feelings of concern and uncertainty, "Though it feels weird...having the 'Cons on our side nowadays. I only hope that things don't go wrong." He told Hivemus Prime. "No need to worry, my friend. As long as we have our leaders, then we can all rest assured that the cycle of hatred between Autobots and the Decepticons will never happen again for as long as they coexist with one another."
Meanwhile, Orion Eclipse was having a banquet with his conjunx-endura, Altair Comet, along with their family and friends. Megatron and his conjunx-endura, Firestar now renamed 'Novastar' along with their daughter-in-law's mother, Elita-One were more than happy to be invited to their son's banquet at their fortress. Orion and Altair have also invited the Stunticons like Wildbreak, Dragstrip, Heatseeker, Motormaster, and Slashmark, as well as some of their old friends like Knock Out and his conjunx-enduras, Arcee and Breakdown, along with Orion's adopted brother, Smokescreen.
"Thank you all so much for coming. It's quite the honor to invite you here, especially the Stunticons." Orion Eclipse said proudly to his guests. "And it's so nice to be reunited with my old childhood friend, Wildbreak, and to have him be reunited with his fathers: Breakdown and Knock Out after being separated for so long before the end of the war." He said before he raised his glass of Energon for a toast.
