As a hilarious joke, Deeks decided to put mistletoe in the hallway at work. Hetty wanted to request that he take it down at once, but then saw that she could eventually use it to her own advantage.
Others though, weren't that kind to the joke.
'If you're trying to get me to kiss my partner, you're way out of line!' Sam said.
'Dude no! I just thought it'd be funny if there could be a kissing spot of sorts for anyone here at work.' Deeks replied.
'I'm surprised Hetty or Granger hasn't already told you to take that down.'
'Well, maybe they appreciate romance then!'
'Or because they want a place to kiss.' Sam muttered very quietly. 'Okay, your joke can stay. But if I get forced to kiss any ugly looking woman here, it's being taken down at once!'
Throughout the day, it was fun (and as Hetty would say, distracting) to see various couples either hilariously try to avoid the mistletoe, or kiss under it. Nell and Eric wanted to get in on the action, but they had to wait until they thought everyone had left so no one would giggle or go 'ewwww'. Then that night, Deeks revealed the real reason why he put the mistletoe up.
'You're so romantic!' Kensi replied.
'Hey, a quiet kiss under the mistletoe when everyone has gone home, early Christmas present for the both of us!' Deeks happily replied.
But when they got to the kissing spot, they found out why their bosses didn't complain about where the mistletoe was at…
It was for 1 hot looking private kissing session!
'Ohhhhh. Guess that's why they didn't immediately complain.' Kensi said, looking both stunned and repulsed.
'Yeah… That's definitely gonna be moved promptly!' Deeks replied, trying not to freak out at the sight.
After that experience, mistletoe only went up at home.
