~Prologue~

Sometimes life just throws things at you, and you have to adapt, and figure out a way to navigate it all. Turn hardships into something, and never forget who you are and where you came from. For nineteen-year-old, real name Leann Kozik daughter of June Stahl and Hermon Kozik, Clair Nelson, that was the straw, that was drawn, the role she had to play.

Clair had to be Clair in order to help Leann's mother to crack an important case, and most importantly for Leanne to finally have her mother's love after her parents' relationship fell apart do to her father's drug use.

~Pre-Season 1~

Clair pulled into the parking lot at Teller Morrow Automotive. Getting out of the car she walked up to the office, and saw the bikes parked along the building next door. Getting out of her car she walked into the office. An older woman was sitting at a desk with a desktop computer in front of her filling out invoices.

"Hi excuse me." Clair said timidly.

"How may I help you?" Gemma Teller Morrow asked politely.

"I'm here for the job opening to help out with the office. Listen I have nothing, and I would have to go back to live with my grandmother if I couldn't find anything here." said Clair.

"Where are you from?" asked Gemma. "Also, if you are going to be working here you are going to hear and see a lot probably so I have to know that I can trust you, and if that's the case I need your whole life story." she added honestly.

Clair was trying to figure out what to say, but Leanne was in her ear saying that the best lies come from the truth. Clair answered honestly tweaking things here and there.

"It's just me. I'm nineteen years old, and entirely on my own. My grandmother lives in Bakersfield and has two seventeen-year-old sons named Luther, and Vandross. She adopted my mom after her crack headed parents tossed her out. So, drugs are a sore spot for her. My parents met in a bar, and fell in love, and married young. He used to be in the Marine Core. I have a tape of one of their vacations that they took. My parents were so freaking happy. Then due to his PTSD from the marines my dad got hooked on Herion and couldn't put the needle down. After that my mom left him, and then afterwards just checked out with the bottle of Vodka." said Clair. She was being honest. Eight years just turned to shit. Leanne remembered that day, but she had to pretend she was Clair. Her father checked out with the needle, and now after getting kicked out her mother worked, and got her job, and chose it instead. Now because of that Leanne had to be Clair to get her mother's love.

In Leanne's version all was true, but instead of her mom becoming an alcoholic she became obsessed with her job, and turned to that, and toward Leanne she checked out, and all she cared about was her career, and even went to the point to have her young teenage daughter to help her crack a case and get ahead.

"Shit baby that's rough. So, it's just you?" Gemma asked.

"Yes. I have no clue where my dad is or if he is clean, and sober or still shooting up, and well mom won't put down the fucking bottle. Sorry for my language." she added.

"I can handle course language sweetheart. Sounds like to me you are trying to find yourself amongst all the shit you have been through with your family. I trust you, and welcome to the family. You can stay at my house for now. You are welcome to stay in the clubhouse also." she added.

"I'll stay with you." said Clair. Clair loved how Gemma was so maternal, and that was why she stayed, and Leanne thought maybe she could find out something faster.

"Come help me clean the clubhouse a bit. Opie is about to get out of jail." said Gemma.

"What happened?" asked Clair.

"Kyle Holbert ran off and left him to take the fall. Fucking pussy." said Gemma. Clair was in. She was having mixed feelings about it all since she told mostly the truth. The only lie was her name, and what her mom checked out on. Alcohol instead of career. Leanne hated being Clair. All she wanted was for one of her parents to love her. Crushing her feelings once again she embraced Clair as she was offered a beer.

"Sounds like a douchebag running out on a brother." Clair let out honestly. Leanne/Clair was so surprised that this job was so easy to just be herself. They were not about to let their guards down though. This was goanna be so easy, but Clair/Leanne was having second thoughts. She had her grandmother in Bakersfield as well as her uncle's Luthor and Vandross. Was it worth changing herself, and going undercover for her mom to love her?

She was thinking about hightailing it to Bakersfield. Her mom had a rough life, and she had gotten adopted by Vivica who was a French fence. Sweetest woman ever, and Clair/Leanne loved her Uncles Luthor, and Vandross. Like the rest of her family Clair/Leanne had a drug she was addicted to so to speak. For her father it was Herion, her mother, career, but she told Gemma alcohol, and for Clair/Leanne it was just wanting one of her parents to be in her life, and love her, that was all she wanted needed, and craved.

"Are you okay baby?" Gemma asked.

"I will be. Just thinking about shit." said Clair/Leanne. Clair/Leanne decided to be honest. "I have been considering disowning my mother, and maybe seeing if my father is clean, and sober. I just want a family." Clair/Leanne didn't even have to lie she threw it all out there.

"You will be just fine, and maybe you and Opie will find something between the two of you. She left him and divorced him when he went inside." said Gemma.

"Gemma can I be honest with you?" she asked. Clair/Leanne has always been afraid of relationships because of the potential for abuse. Yes, her mom had a high up job, but her father might be able to protect her better if he was clean, and sober. Anyway, she had her own issues.

Gemma came to the young girl noticing she had her issues, and worries. Hugging her she said, "Harry Opie Winston is not like that. His wife left him after Kyle fucked him over. Just give him a chance. He would never hurt you. Also welcome to the family." said Gemma.

~Season 1~

Since Clair/Leanne came to Teller Morrow thing have been going splendid. She was good at her job, and if someone had any issues any member of Samcro would say something to an out of line customer. Also, she had been staying with Gemma, and Clay. Clair/Leanne never felt this welcome or safe since her grandmothers in Bakersfield. Also, she had been dating Harry Opie Winston. He was just this gentle giant who just caused Leanne to fall in love with him.

She was so tired of being someone she wasn't all because of her bitch of a mother, but she had no way to get out of it since her father wasn't in the picture because of his drug use, and all that Leanne wanted was for one parent to truly love her.

"Hey babe." said Opie.

"Hey what's up?" asked Clair/Leanne.

"Our gun warehouse got blown up last night by those asshole Mayans. Took everything that we need to sell to the 1-9ers." Clair/Leanne, and Opie got together and got so serious that they had full disclosure.

"Shit is everyone okay?" asked Clair/Leanne.

"Thankfully yes. So, what is going on with you?" Opie asked.

"Just another day at work. Also, I have been talking to Jax. He is worried about Wendy's drug use since she is pregnant with his child. He worries that she is going to relapse. I understand Jax, he is like a big brother to me, and also, I understand since my father is an addict. I just wish that he was clean, and sober so maybe one day if we ever get married that he walks me down the aisle." said Leanne/Clair.

"Maybe that can happen babe. My parents have their ups, and downs also. My dad is all club, and a surly drunk at times, but my mom is a downright bitch. She just left me, and dad not caring about us, and now she thinks she can throw her two cents into everything and try to control my life." said Opie.

"Yea mom won't put down the bottle (her fucking job) long enough to even see how I feel, and how I'm struggling. I'm nineteen fucking years old, and I feel like I'm much older. After dad turned to the needle, my mom just checked out, and turned the bottle (her career, and now her case), and I'm just trying to support myself since basically I'm on my own and have no parents." said Clair/Leanne.

Opie cupped Clair/Leanne's face in his hands and kissed her passionately. "You have parents, you live with them. Fuck everyone else who is trying to bring you down, and just be happy Clair. Yes life threw you curveballs, but you are overcoming them just by where you work, and where you live. Also, I'm here Clair, I love you." said Opie.

"I love you too. How is Donna, and the kids?" Clair/Leanne asked.

"Donna has Pancreatic Cancer. It doesn't look good." said Opie.

"Shit Harry that is so awful. Listen tell Donna, that I am available when I'm not working to help out with her and the kids." said Clar/Leanne.

"Donna hates the club. She has been trying to give custody to her parents, and me visitation. Though I'm their father." said Opie. "It doesn't help that I'm in debt to my ears since I was put away." he added.

"Things will work out babe. I'm here for you." said Clair/Leanne.

"Thanks love." said Opie kissing her before leaving the office. Clair/Leanne felt so bad. She had a way to clean her boyfriend's debt, and make sure his kids had a suitable home to go to. Problem was she couldn't without blowing her cover and revealing herself as Leanne Kozik trying to do what she could for her mother's love, and not Clair Nelson. She never expected to be this well-loved, and sucked in so quickly, but she was.

A/N: I am goanna focus on this one since it's in a way a Christmas holiday one. Hope you enjoy.
