I floated through a dark void. White, snow-like particles fell all around me from above, passing through me and falling into the infinite abyss below. I looked at my hands. They were sheer white, like a piece of paper. I felt something touching my head, stroking back and forth, like I was being pet. Noise came into reality, muffled speech flooded my ears. It was one word, over and over. Veto.

"Veto…"

"Veto…"

"Veto…"

My name echoed through my mind. I felt my head shaking, my entire body began reverberating. The darkness around me faded into color. I opened my eyes, my real eyes. I'm laying in bed. Someone is holding me from behind, gently stroking the top of my head, saying my name over and over. I feel heavy, like someone put a weight on top of me while I was sleeping. Two large pillows are pressed against my back.

"Veto, are you awake?" The voice saying my name spoke.

"Huh," I croaked out. My throat was dry and my voice, hoarse. "Y-yeah I'm awake."

Memories of last night flooded my mind. The person holding me is Delkana. I'm hers. She's not human. Greek gods exist, she's a servant of one of them. The pillows on my back are not pillows, they are, in fact, her boobs. Last night we… we had sex. Oh, fuck, what have I gotten into?

Delkana spoke, "Good, good. Do you remember last night?"

I thought for a moment. I know what we did last night, but the exact details were hazy. I remember sensations more than actual moments. A lot of bouncing from Delkana, a lot of pleasure, a bit of… pain? My left shoulder ached. I put a hand over it. I felt the skin. It was rough and sensitive, just like a scar. I felt a dried liquid all over my left shoulder, mostly around the scar, but some on my left arm, too. Delkana… did she hurt me?

"For the most part, yeah. It's all fuzzy, though." I responded. Whatever, I'm alive, and that's all that matters. Strangely enough, I feel safe, laying here with her. It's a warm feeling.

"Do you remember me…" she stopped for a moment, like she was afraid to continue, "…biting you?"

When she finished, a memory rushed to the front of my head. It played almost like a vision. Delkana was straddling me, riding my… you know.

"Veto, Veto!" She half-screamed my name. She leaned down, still bouncing, and lightly pushed my head to the side, her mouth hovering just over my shoulder.

"What are you- ah!" I was cut off as a searing pain shot through the left side of my body. "Shit, shit!"

It felt as if I had been stung by a hundred wasps, the pain seeped deep in my body, slowly spreading. It was excruciating, almost unbearable. The mix of pain from the bite and pleasure from Delkana felt strange, like two magnets pushing against each other. I didn't know which felt more intense.

"Ah~, sorry, Veto. You got me so worked up, I just had to take a bite. You taste so, so sweet." I looked up at her through a veil of pain-filled, watery eyes. Blood covered her mouth. Her long, velvety tongue creeped from inside her mouth, slowly lapping up my blood on her lips. "I won't do it again, I promise~"

The memory faded into the back of my mind. Well, damn. Delkana is kinda unhinged, huh?

"Yeah…" I said, "It hurt."

She made a noise, almost like she was about to cry, but was holding it in. She stopped petting me, and instead wrapped both her arms around my waist, pulling me close to her in an embrace.

"I'm so, so, so sorry Veto! I just, I was so happy, and you smelled so good, and I lost myself." She sounded hysterical, "Please, please forgive me! I'm so sorry."

Weren't my options become hers or die? Why does she even care that she hurt me? I didn't even remember until she mentioned it, so it's probably fine. Right?

"It's okay, Delkana. It doesn't hurt anymore, I'm fine." I responded.

"Oh, thank the gods." She whispered out. "Okay, okay, sorry. I was so afraid you'd be mad at me."

We've known each other for a day, why is she so worried?

She spoke again, after collecting herself a bit. "We should leave soon, we're lucky Gardelle or any of the others didn't hear us last night."

"Leave? Where are we going?" I asked.

I could practically hear her smile, even with my back to her. She hugged me a bit harder, her exceptionally large chest pressed into my back. "I'm gonna take you to my camp, where you'll meet all my friends, and we'll have so much fun, and be happy as can be! We'll party, drink, and eat any other pesky demigods that come trying to take you away." She ranted.

My brow furrowed, "Demigod? What's a demigod?"

She giggled, "Oh, Veto, you know who Hecate is, but you don't even know about demigods? Well, I guess it can't be helped. They're half gods, half mortals. You're one too! At least, I think you are."

She thinks I am? "What do you mean you think I am? You're not sure?"

"Well, you smell like one, but your scent is so overwhelming… the only reason I ever approached you was because I can't resist your body, and your oh-so-cute face." She answered, "You must've noticed, right? The strange creatures that wander around? Those are monsters, straight from Greek history. Most of us avoid you, we're afraid because you smell somewhat like Kronos."

Man, my life just keeps getting crazier.

"The titan Kronos? Is he my dad?" If he is, that explains a lot.

Once again, she giggled, "Oh, no, no, no. There's no way. Kronos would never see mortals as potential mates. And his energy was almost entirely dispersed after the Second Titan War. I really have no clue who your godly parent is, but they're definitely related to time in some way, that's certain."

Man, I'm getting tired of all these long explanations. Thinking this much is tiresome. She said I'm related to some kind of time god, which explains my abilities. But not my eyes. Wait, why didn't I just slow time and run when she let me down after choking me? I… genuinely don't know. I don't really want to leave now, though. I don't care to know who my parents are, that doesn't matter to me. But I feel safe around Delkana, even knowing she bit me. I feel like, once we get to her camp, maybe things will be simple. I'll eat, hang around Delkana, and she'll do whatever she wants with me. To me, that sounds perfect.

"Alright," I figured it was time to change the subject, "so, when are we leaving?"

Delkana let go of me and sat up in bed. It was only when the blanket slipped did I realize we were both completely naked. Whatever, we had sex, it's not like it matters if we see each other nude.

"Right now, I suppose. You should probably get dressed." She said.

I raised an eyebrow, "What about you?"

She smirked. Her form shimmered for a moment, and she began shrinking. After a few seconds, the girl she was disguised as last night was in front of me, fully clothed.

"As a servant and creation of Hecate, I obviously know magic. It's rather useful, especially when I don't feel like doing things manually." She explained. Sounds nice. Maybe she can teach me magic.

I nodded and got out of bed, not caring I had nothing on. Delkana giggled.

"Oh, Veto! Are you trying to make me pounce on you? Get dressed, or I won't be responsible for what I do next~" She had a playful yet seductive tone to her voice. I felt as if she actually would pounce on me if I didn't get clothes on soon.

In a few minutes, I was clad in a gray long-sleeve shirt and gray sweatpants, and Delkana was leaning by the door.

"You ready?" She asked.

I nodded. I had my phone and wallet on me. I probably wouldn't need my wallet, but having my phone would be useful. I normally don't feel much of anything, but I'm actually rather excited right now. I'm excited to get to Delkana's place, cause she said I wouldn't have to think when I'm with her, and I bet that starts when we get there. I can see it already, me doing nothing but what Delkana says with no thoughts in my head. I bet it's gonna be great.

"Let's go, then." She went for the door, but hesitated for a moment. She turned around and walked up to me. She hugged me tight, wrapping her arms around my sides and pulling me close. "Oh, how excited I am to show you off, I can't wait to start my life with you, Veto. You'll be so much more than a toy, you'll be my number one, my favorite person ever."

I responded by hugging her back. She gets the message, I don't need to speak.

She hugged me for a bit longer, then let go and went to the door, myself right behind. She opened it, stepping out into the hall.

"The sight blocking spell I casted last night should still be working. Follow me, just don't bump into anyone and we'll be perfect." She said, and started walking. I followed her.

We went down the stairs into the main hall. It was strange seeing all of these kids walking around without a clue Delkana and I were there. A few were at the table in the dining room, some were watching TV in the living room, and Mother Gardelle was in the kitchen. I wanted to say bye, but that'd make her ask why I was saying bye, and it would also ruin the spell or something. So I'll say bye in my mind. Bye, Mother Gardelle! Your cooking kinda sucked, but at least it was food.

I must've lagged behind, because Delkana grabbed my hand, clasping it in hers, and guided me out of the building. We stepped into the chaos of the streets, which weren't entirely crowded but still had a lot of people on them. Not suffocating, but still rather cramped. Traffic was loud, as always, and it was kinda hard to hear.

"The spell is out, people can see us now. Should be fine, though." Delkana called back to me amongst the noise. I nodded and followed along, still hand in hand with her. I liked holding her hand. It was soft. I think I like her. Is this Stockholm syndrome? Isn't it supposed to take longer to kick in? Who knows.

We walked for what felt like, and probably was, hours, navigating through the masses and reaching the very edge of town. From here on, it was a huge, seemingly endless forest. Delkana stopped walking. I stood next to her, her hand still clasped firmly in mine.

She looked around, up and down the street. Nobody was in sight. We were alone.

"Veto, I'm going to transform again. When I do, get on my back. We'll be able to move quicker that way." She said.

She let go of my hand, much to my dismay, and her figure shimmered again. She grew, towering over me once again. She got thicker, and more muscular. Her hair blazed up and caught flame, turning bright green. Her leg silvered over, turning into pure precious metal once more.

She was bare chested again. It was pleasant. Damn, I'm really into her, aren't I? I dunno why. She turned her back to me.

"Hop on!" She said, excitedly. Funny, last night it was her riding me.

I walked up to her, and hopped up, wrapping my legs around her sides and my arms around her neck. She supported my legs with her arms, the powerful appendages finding no strain in carrying my lower half.

"Hold on, we're gonna go pretty fast. I may have a fake leg, but I'm in no way disabled, darling." Her voice was mildly crazed. I think she likes the prospect of going fast. I may or may not die here. I wrapped around her that much tighter as she crouched down.

"Here we go!" She yelled. And with that, she kicked off the ground, sending a shock through my body and jarring my head. She bounded forwards, a resonating thud emanated every time one of her feet made contact with the ground. It was weird, seeing someone this powerful. Are all monsters as strong as her? If so, how do demigods even fight against them? Maybe I'm just weak, who knows. I don't really care, as long as I'm with Delkana and don't have to contemplate things, I'm fine. Speaking of that, I really don't understand how I can pay as much attention as I do to her. Normally I'd space out when someone speaks more than two sentences, but I'm encapsulated by her. I like hearing her speak. Her voice is nice.

I soon got used to the jarring sensation of riding Delkana, and rested my head into the flames of her hair. Strangely enough, it doesn't burn, it's just warm. So, very, warm. I guess I've been thinking too much, cause I'm really tired. I feel fuzzy again. I feel like I'm in an invisible cocoon, all wrapped up by something that isn't there. It's not unpleasant. I want to doze off, but I don't want to fall off of Delkana. I probably couldn't sleep right now anyways, the Delkana Express is a bumpy ride. Delkana, Delkana, Delkana. I like her name. She said she likes mine, too. That's nice…

I was on her back for roughly half an hour before she stopped sprinting and stood still. She let go of my legs, and I instinctively let go of her, letting my feet touch the ground once more. I almost lost my footing, my legs were half asleep and my mind was as fuzzy as always.

"We'll walk from here, it's about five minutes away." She said. "You're not too jarred, are you? I hope I didn't run too recklessly."

I shook my head, "Nah, I'm fine. It was weird at first but I got used to it. You're pretty fast." I commented.

She smiled, "Thank you! Wait till you meet my sister, she's not as big or as strong as me, but she's much, much faster."

She started walking, and I followed. We walked for a couple minutes, enjoying the silence of the forest. It was a direct contrast to the chaotic dissonance of the city. It was nice, it was peaceful. But even with the silence, I felt unfulfilled. I wanted to be closer to her.

"Delkana…" I spoke up after a few minutes.

"Yes, Veto, my dear?"

"Can I hold your hand?" I asked.

It wasn't a weird request, we had done much more intimate things just the night before, but I suppose it caught her off guard. She gasped, and I saw a blush creep across her face.

"O-of course you can!" She responded quickly, and held out her hand. I grabbed it, and we walked hand in hand from there. We were quiet for a few moments, until she spoke up.

"You don't have to ask, you know. You can take my hand any time you want." She said. I hummed in acknowledgement. We didn't speak the rest of the way. In a couple of minutes, I heard a commotion ahead of us. It sounded like singing and yelling, like a party.

"That's our camp, up ahead." Delkana said, "Veto, you don't know how excited I am! I get to show you off, you get to meet my sisters and friends, and you'll get to meet Valen, too!"

Valen?

"Hm? Who's Valen?" I asked her, "Sounds like a dude's name."

She giggled. I liked hearing her laugh. "It is a dude, he's to my sister what you are to me." She explained, "He's so terribly shy, though, so you might have to engage in a conversation with him first!"

Sounds tiresome, but I didn't tell her that. It sounded like she really wanted me to meet this Valen dude, so I didn't want to say anything that would upset her.

As we moved closer to the camp, I could tell they were having some kind of party. A large group of women, some adults, some teenage-looking, and some kids, were singing, dancing, and drinking. They were all either empousa or some kind of monster. I saw several plumes of fire-hair of several different colors running around. Large tents were arranged in a huge circle, creating a rather big clearing. In the middle of the clearing, a bonfire raged on. A few of the women were roasting marshmallows over the fire, chatting casually. Others were a lot less subdued, slamming shoulders and talking loudly. One woman stood to the side, playing what looked to be a violin. I couldn't hear her playing amongst the abrasive noise of the party, though.

Delkana and I walked into the camp, and a few of the women noticed us. More specifically, noticed me. Some hissed in surprise or anger, but others… others wiggled their hips seductively. Some blew me kisses. Typically I'd be afraid, but I don't think Delkana is gonna let anyone else have me. From what I've seen, she's really possessive.

Delkana looked over at me. She must've been able to tell I was mildly worried, and gave me a reassuring smile. Her teeth were sharp, as if filed to a point, but they weren't ugly or yellow, they were actually rather pretty. It feels kinda weird saying that about someone's teeth. Whatever.

I smiled back at her, and she turned forwards. We seemed to be approaching a particular empousa, one that looked a lot like Delkana. The only noticeable differences was that her hair was purple instead of green, and her leg was gold instead of silver. She's also a lot shorter than Delkana. She was sitting on a picnic table, talking to two other monsters. These ones weren't empousa. They had scales and snakelike features. Instead of legs, they had one long trunk, like a snake's tail. It was weird. Really, really weird.

"Delkina!" Delkana called out as we got close to the table. "It's been so long!"

The empousa that resembled Delkana focused her attention on her. A smile flashed on her face as Delkana approached.

"Delkana! Oh, Delkana I missed you so much!" The Empousa got up and ran towards Delkana, crashing into her in a hug. So, is this her sister?

The two empousa held each other for at least thirty seconds. I began feeling antsy without Delkana focused on me, any of these other monsters might take a bite out of me at any moment. I know firsthand that being bitten by an empousa hurts like shit, and I do NOT want that to happen again.

Delkana and who I can assume to be Delkina let go of each other and began talking. I didn't pay attention to what they were saying, it didn't really matter to me. A passing snake lady noticed me and flashed me a strange smile, one that carried either 'I want to eat you so bad.' or 'I want to eat you so bad~' energy, if you get what I mean. I subconsciously shuffled a bit close to Delkana. Apparently, that caused Delkina to notice me.

"Oh! And what's this?" She gasped, "Sister, did you bring me a snack for the party? Oh, you care so much about me!" She began reaching for me. I felt my body shake. My heart throbbed once, preparing to halt the world around me. Delkana opened her mouth to stop her. But, Delkina stopped her advance. Her nose twitched. Her eyes widened.

"He smells like you. You've… you've fucked this demigod?!" Delkina half-yelled. She didn't sound angry as much as surprised. She honestly sounded kind of happy. "I knew it! You're just like me, naughty, naughty Delkana!"

Delkana put a hand on the back of her head and started laughing, "Yes, yes, I admit it. I made this boy mine."

Delkana turned to me, "Veto, this is Delkina. She's my sister, the one I said was a lot faster than me."

Delkina, although shorter than Delkana, was still a lot taller than me. She put both hands on her knees and bent down slightly, as if talking to a toddler.

"Hi, Veto, I'm Delkina. You know, you are just so cute! And you smell good, too. It's no wonder you drew my sister's attention." She said, "You know, I've got a boy myself. His name is Valen. He's getting food right now, but I bet you two would be good friends."

I didn't respond, I just flashed her a smile. I don't really feel like talking right now. My voice might crack.

Delkina smiled back, "Oh, you're not much of a talker? That's fine, Valen isn't either. I just hope one of you can start a conversation with the other, otherwise you two might not be friends!" She laughed out.

I let out a small laugh. Delkana smiled at me.

"Well, I'd love to stay and catch-up for a bit longer, but I've got to make sure the girls know the Veto isn't food, so if you'll excuse us for a moment." Delkana took my hand and waved goodbye to Delkina. Delkina flashed me one last smile, and waved back.

Delkana guided me through the crowd of monsters. I could tell we were headed for the bonfire. Now that we were closer, I could somewhat make out the violin being played by the empousa off to the side. It was an upbeat and happy rhythm, probably in some kind of major chord. Snake ladies and empousa alike danced and waved to the music, downing what I can assume to be alcohol by the barrel. It was strange, seeing inhuman beings do something so inherently human. I didn't know what to think.

I soon found that Delkana had, in fact, been leading us to the bonfire. A small space was between the crowd around us and the fire itself. A few empousa were at the fire, talking and roasting marshmallows. They glanced over at us, doing a double take when they saw me. Delkana positioned me in front of her, putting both hands on my shoulders.

"Excuse me, ladies! Can I have your attention for a moment?" She yelled. Her voice wasn't necessarily loud, but it seemed to project itself over the noise of the crowd. It had to be some kind of magic.

Almost every set of eyes in the swarm was turned towards us. I shuffled a bit under the gaze of dozens of monsters. I felt small.

"I would like to announce two things." Delkana continued, "One, I have returned from my journey, and am here to party! And two, this boy here is Veto, and he is mine! He is not food, do not eat, bite, or maim him." Her voice had a dangerous tone at the end, like she was giving a warning.

Several seconds of silence rang out, the only sounds being the crackling of the fire behind us and the violin being played in the ambience. At least sixty pairs of eyes were focused entirely on us. I felt like looking away, but Delkana put her hands on my head, making me look straight forward. My heart throbbed on instinct. For a moment, it felt like a fight might break out, Delkana and I versus a horde of snakes and hotheads.

But then, a voice rang out amongst the crowd, "YEAAAAAH DELKANA'S BACK AND SHE'S GOT A SEX SLAVE, WOOOHOOO!"

And just like that, the party was back on.

review, lmk what you think.

btw, by no smut i meant nothing super explicit. still gonna have kind-of sex scenes, but nothing explicit.

was kinda buzzed writing this chapter, so we'll see how it does.
