Chapter 65: Work Studies
It was time for the opening, ceremony for the term. Which they didn't do for the first part. But still, first day school after that extremally hectic summer.
Way too much happened during summer vacation.
Still at least it was officially over.
As they were at the shoe locker, Monoma showed up.
"So I heard that all of you passed." Said Monoma.
"Yeah… we did what of it?" asked Katsuki.
"Did anyone fail in your class?" asked Izuku.
Monoma was silence then started to laugh manically.
"Actually our entire class passed 100 percent." Said Monoma.
"Then why the fuck are you acting to snobby?" asked Katsuki glaring at him.
"We didn't need to have a big party last night!" mocked Monoma.
The entire class sweat dropped.
"Oh you know about the party." Said Izuku.
'Not only that but who held the party;." Said Monoma.
"What does that mean?" asked Ochaco.
"The pathetic fact that you had Principal Nezu's assistant throw you a party." Said Monoma.
There was an awkward silence among the two hero classes.
"She didn't do as Nezu's assistant… she did it as my mom…" sighed Izuku.
"Yeah… even I have to agree with that." Said one of the member of 1-B.
"Did you even watch that interview. She was pretty manly." Said Tetsutetsu.
A girl in the class named Pony Tsunotori decided to change the subject.
"Vlad told us we're going to have classes together this term!" she said.
It should be noted that Pony is also from America and Japanese wasn't her first language.
Which is why she said this…
"We are going to crush you into dust!"
Monoma started laughing as he taught her to say that.
Kendo proceed to chop his neck.
"Hey! Quit holding up the line!" called out Shinso.
They all knew they had to switch out their shoes as they commented on Shinso.
And soon enough they were at the assembly for the start of the term.
It opened up him babbling about self-care… and really had to do with nothing.
However he did get to the correct topic…
"Of course there was a big disruption of our lives, while All Might turned out alright, with his old injury becoming known, the public has become worried about the future. We haven't lost our pillar but some people have become act like we soon. Our society will more than likely need to prepare for hardships in the future. Our students in the hero course need to know this week…. Especially our second and third year students who are in work studies. Going forward you need to be aware of threats. But remember All Might I still out there… despite so many people's fears." Said Nezu.
"Work studies?" Mina said quietly.
"I think they're the next step of internships." Said Tsuyu.
The rest of it was pretty normal… after all it wasn't like something happened the night before that would be a big deal…
Afterward they got back to class.
Aizawa was getting to class, though after Mina got annoyed and Aizawa got angry with her Tsuyu decided to ask about it.
"Maybe I ask a question, Nezu mentioned about Work Studies what is the deal with that." Said Tsuyu.
Other students were wondering as well so Aizawa knew he had to explain… it was another internship. This time more in depth…
Though Ochaco started to freak out as they put a lot of work into be noticed for the Sports Festival.
Thankfully Aizawa was able to calm her down by pointing out certain things, like how it was easier for those that got scouted out to get something while that didn't will have a harder time.
Izuku raised his hand and Aizawa knew what he was going to ask.
"You also don't have to go to the hero you worked with the first time." Said Aizawa, "In fact due to circumstances I would advise you two not to go with the hero you interned with her."
"Circumstances?" asked Shoto with her eye widening.
Aizawa nodded.
That made Shoto realized that with All Might no longer injured they would seriously be looking into her father.
Though a couple other students did breathe a sigh of relief as well.
Still… it was a relief for that… though when Present Mic came in for the first class of the day that relief disappeared as it was a very hard class that day for some students.
Still it was a normal day…
A couple days later however…
"Sorry it took a couple days, but it's time to talk about this for real." Said Aizawa.
The class got excited for that.
"Come on in!" called out Aizawa, "Here to tell you how Work Studies differ from Internships are some people who have been through. They are taking time out of their very busy schedules. Out of all of the students these are the top three third years. Or as they are known, the big three." Said Aizawa.
Three third year students entered, one was a rather muscular boy with blonde hair and cartoony eyes, the second was a girl with long periwinkle hair and the last was a boy with dark indigo hair and pony ears.
Izuku looked at the blonde guy , he activated his telepathy but only for Katsuki.
"Does the blonde guy look for familiar?" asked Izuku.
Katsuki looked at him.
And then both of them remembered… the year before…
"The naked fucker from the Sports festival!" thought Katsuki.
Izuku only sweat dropped.
Indeed the blonde boy need up naked during the Sprots Festival the year before…
"How the fuck did he become that good?" thought Katsuki.
"I don't know…" thought Izuku.
"All right, why don't you introduce yourselves, starting with you Amajiki." Said Aizawa.
The one apparently named Amajiki gave an intense stare to entire class which made them all nervous.
Then it turned out he mentioned that he trying it picture them all as potatoes and they were still human from the neck down..
"I have trouble speak and… I just can't right now… I want to go home!" he yelled.
No one was sure how to respond to that . Though it clear that the girl was going to take over his introduction.
"Oh that's Tamaki Amajiki and I'm Nejire Hado!" said the girl, "We're here to talk about work studies."
However Hado ended up getting distracted, she saw the mask that Shoji wore then asked him about it.
Then she noticed Shoto and asked about her hair color.
Then about Ashido's horns…
Then about Mineta's ball hair…
That was when she noticed Izuku and got really excited.
"Oh my gosh! You're the magical girl kid!" she yelled practically running to his desk.
Izuku froze.
"Can I become a Magical Girl?" asked Nejire.
"No… I'm sorry but I don't want to bond with people unless they have a very good reason or it's an emergency!"
"Oh! Can I see your mascot form." She asked.
Before Izuku could say no he felt it.
"Oh come on." He thought.
He proceeded to sneeze and turn into his animal from.
"So cute!" she said with her eyes sparkling .
Izuku wasn't sure what to say about that.
"Can I hug you!" she asked.
"Hado… please don't hug my students…" muttered Aizawa looking like he didn't want to be there.
Hado pouted at this as Izuku turned back to human.
"Go back to the front…" muttered Katsuki.
"Oh you're one of the magical girls too!" said Hado.
Katsuki just glared at her.
Aizawa just groaned at this.
"Don't worry I go this." Said the blonde.
Aizawa didn't think he had it…
"The outlook is…." Started the blonde boy.
The class was confused by what he was even talking about…
"I was looking for "grim." Said the blonde boy, "Well that didn't go over well."
"Well I'm Mirio Togata and I see that all of you just don't seem to care. You got three third years showing up out of nowhere wanting to teach you about Work Studies. Doesn't even make sense right." He said, "You all got your license this year so the first years are real go-getters. And since our talk isn't going well why don't you all face me!"
They were just confused.
"Seems rational to have them see first-hand our experiences." Said Togata.
Sometime later in the gym…
All of them were in their gym unforms.
"So we can go all out?" asked Katsuki.
"If you're referring to your magical girl powers! Of course!" said Togata.
Katsuki grinned.
Amajiki didn't want him to do this and tried to dissuade him while looking at a wall.
However it was Hado who had something to say…
"There was a once a kid who was discouraged in being a hero and quit trying and caused all sorts of trouble. So remember that or else you're going to be in a lot of pain." Said Hado.
Who was also playing with Izuku's ears.
"Please stop this…" said Izuku with a sweat drop.
Ochaco then pulled him away from the third year girl.
"Oh yeah… I forgot you two are dating!" said Hado.
They all looked at Togata.
"First things first! Don't get distracted by his dick." Said Katsuki.
Everyone stared at Katsuki.
"Excuse me!" yelled Jiro.
"Trust me on it!" yelled Katsuki.
Most of the class just sweat dropped.
The rest of the magical girls transformed.
"All right! I'm going to be the one going first!" yelled Katsuki.
No one was surprised, not even Togata .
"So one of the Magical Girls I should have known." Said Togata.
Katsuki exploded behind her and readied a punch, however Taught used his quirk…" and his closed fell off revealing hi nakedness.
"How did you know about that!" yelled Jiro.
"We watched the Sports Festival last year…" said Izuku.
Everyone sweat dropped.
"He was naked wasn't he?" asked Tenya.
"He was…" said Izuku.
"Sorry! Fine tuning this is tricky." He said putting his pants back on.
However Katsuki ended going through him very literally.
"I knew it!" thought Izuku who turned out Telepathy for him and the partners on the battlefield, "He has a phasing quirk."
"So don't aim an attack yet?" asked Tsuyu.
It turned out that many of the long raged fighter had all put together an attack at once.
Which unfortunately went through him.
"Everyone pay attention." Thought Shoto.
That was when he completely disappeared.
"Where did he go?" asked Kirishima.
"He has a phasing quirk! So pay attention not the ground!" called out Izuku.
However he ended up appearing hind Jiro.
He easily took out half the class including Tsuyu.
"He's so fast!" said Ochaco.
"He couldn't even see him." Said Kirishima.
"Deku!" said Katsuki.
"Right!" said Izuku.
It was clear she wanted to double team him.
"Still…" said Izuku, "We need to figure out something… .The warping is a clearly a function of his phasing quirk…."
"Now's not the time." Said Katsuki.
"Kacchan…" sighed Izuku with a sweat drop.
"He might try something when he's talking." Said Katsuki.
Izuku sweat dropped at that.
"I have an idea." Said Shoto.
"Really what?" asked Izuku.
That was when Shoto created a large glacier around him.
"You know he has a phasing quirk right?" asked Katsuki.
"That's not going to work…" said Izuku.
They all looked at the glacier and saw he was gone.
"See…" said Izuku.
And Togata appeared from behind Shoto knocking her out.
":That's what you fucking get." Said Katsuki.
However Togata disappeared once again.
However he appeared behind Izuku.
Who was able to predict his movements and activated All Might's Quirk and was ready to fight him.
However Mirio why l surprised was ready for him.
"Have a taste of my special move! Blinder Touch Eye Crush!"
Izuku closed his eyes ready for him to attack his eyes.
However it wasn't that at all.
Instate he arm went through Izuku's head and punched Izuku right in the solar plexus.
"YOU NAKED BASTRAD!: yelled Katsuki.
She summoned her wand and tried to blow him up that way.
However he disappeared and punched her in the gut as well, knocking her out.
Thanks to the shock of taking out the class powerhouses he easily took out the rest.
Afterwards all of them were shocked by the fight… though all of them were hit in the solar plexus…
"Think my quirk is strong." Said Togata.
Much of the class agreed.
"Oh… oh… can I say your quirk! It's Permeation!" said Hado.
""Nope I got this one! It's called Permeation;." Said Togata.
He explained that whenever he turned it out he passes through everting, including the ground and when he deactivates it he's went flying as two objects can't exist in the same space. He learn however to move with his quirk using angles.
"Sounds like a glitch in a video game." Said Mina.
"Something like that." Said Togata.
"So you can't be hit and you can change position instantly no wonder you have a strong quirk." Said Tsuyu.
"Oh you think it's strong." Said Togata.
He explained the big problems with his quirk, namely he couldn't breath as the e air goes thought his lungs as well, also he couldn't see or hear due to the light and the vibrating atoms could also pass though him. He also still has mass which mean he still falls.
"Wait if you still have mass…" sighed Ochaco, "Oh man! I could have easily beaten you if I had known during the fight."
"It's okay…" said Tsuyu.
"We didn't know…" said Toru.
"Oh yeah she controls gravity as a magical girl…" said Togata.
He then counited his explanation how it was something of a hassle to pass through walls as he had to switch body parts one at time.
However he explained why he had gotten so powerful, he learned a lot during his work studies . We was able to learn a lot and act like a real sidekick on just a guest in the agency.
The class all understood and applauded him.
"All right. That it, go back to class." Said Aizawa.
Snot too longer later The Big Three were talking in the hallways about the fight… well it was Hado and Togata, Amajiki was just quiet.
"Did any of them catch your eye?" asked Hado.
"Actually Sir told me something rather interesting… he was already going to request one of them before today." Said Togata.
"REALLY! Who! Who! Who!" said Hado.
"The Magical Girl Mascot!" said Togata.
"Oh I was going to try to get Ryukyu to recruit him." Pouted Hado.
Togata smiled… hoping that Izuku would indeed join the same work study as him.
And he didn't know that it was going to be the start of something special for sure…
