Kaguya is able to crank her head over at Shido hoping for an answer to the mirage she was seeing but all she sees is the same equally as shocked expression she was wearing across his face. Though no one was more shocked then Yuzuru who's eyes are opened wide and her mouth hanging open a bit. Seemingly not noticing anything amiss, ms Tamae looks around the room and seeing an open seat next to the window, points to it she says, "you can take a seat over there."

He sees the open seat which is ironically enough right next to Yuzuru and starts making his way there though while he walks, he can't help but feel the eyes of his new Seat mate melting a hole through his head. As he got closer and closer, Yuzuru stays frozen in place and even though she wasn't showing it, a feeling of excitement and joy quickly replaces the sadness she was feeling as she thinks, "happiness: he's alive! He's okay!!! Yuzuru thought she would never see him again but here he is! Yuzuru gets to keep her promise to him!"

As he takes a seat next to her, he looks over and smiles at her which was enough for her heart to skip a beat and a warm feeling to take over her whole body while thinking, "joy: that smile, that beautiful smile. Yuzuru thought she'd never get to see it again!"

And then she heard something she thought she'd never hear, "what's your name?"

She stared back at him blankly, she honestly didn't know why he would say that so she asks, "Confusion: why would you ask Yuzuru that?"

He looks back at her equally as confused while saying, "because I don't know you?"

In an instant her heart sank. The joy she was feeling, the joy she was craving was gone and was slowly replaced with sadness and despair as she slowly comes to realize what was happening and with tears starting to pool in her eyes she mutters, "please no."

Seeing the tears in her eyes and becoming concerned, he asks, "what's wrong?"

She continues to stare at him but quickly turns away while wiping away her tears and muttering, "Rebuttal: Yuzuru's is fine."

Still concerned he asks, "you sure? You seem sad?"

After a brief pause, she looks back at him and to his surprise, she was sporting a very neutral expression with her eyes half shut as she replies, "denial: see? Yuzuru is fine."

He continues to study her expression but realizing that arguing was pointless, he decides to drop it and looks to the front of the room while saying, "if you say so."

They both go quiet, though for reasons unknown to him, he feels a strange tension between him and his seat mate which causes him to glance over to her while thinking, "what's up with her? We just met but it feels like she's already mad at me? Could I have met her before..."

Though he quickly shakes this thought away while continuing, "no. I only moved here this morning and never got a chance to meet anyone."

Meanwhile while he was thinking this, Yuzuru couldn't help but glance over at him while thinking, "sadness: why... Why do you not remember Yuzuru? Did you lose your memories? Or was your time with Yuzuru forgettable?"

That depressing thought cut her deep, to the point that the sinking feeling in her chest was borderline unbearable but something stops her from breaking down entirely. The faintest feeling of hope manifests itself as a memory, a sad memory from their last moment together when she had kissed him for the first and last time, though one detail sticks out to her as she thinks, "confirmation: those eyes."

She glances over at him while continuing, "the look in his eyes, though he doesn't look at Yuzuru the same way now, she can guarantee that the way he looked at her just before saying goodbye was unmistakable, it was not nothing she saw ... it was love."

This thought was enough to strengthen her resolve as she thinks, "determination: Yuzuru does not know what is happening but she will understand, and no matter how long it takes, she will see those love filled eyes again."

With class starting and miss Tamae telling the class which page to turn in their textbooks, Burchard quickly realizes he was missing something and looks over at his seat mate while asking, "hey, can we share your textbook? I haven't gotten one yet."

To his confusion, she takes in a deep breath then looks back at him blankly while replying, "confirmation: yes you can."

Hearing this causes him to smile warmly while responds, "thanks I appreciate it."

Though she stays stone faced and does her best to hide it, she couldn't help but feel butterflies from the warm beautiful smile that helped her fall for him in the first place but she was able to harden herself while thinking, "determination: yuzuru cannot falter, she must stay strong. It is the only way for her to truly enjoy that smile once more."

As he slides his desk over, he couldn't help but notice the strange feeling of determination that seemed to radiate off of her though he doesn't pay much attention to it as he thinks to himself, "she must be really into school."

He takes his seat and she casually moves the textbook between them but as the class starts, Burchard can't help but feel his new seat mate regularly glance over at him though every time he looked over, she was always looking the other way until finally he had enough and asks, "why do you keep looking at me?"

To his surprise, a shiver seems to run through her entire body from being caught though she continues to look towards the front of the class while replying, "confusion: Yuzuru does not know what your talking about."

Deciding not to let it go, Burchard continues to look at her while asking with a raised eyebrow, "really? Because you've been staring at me ever since I walked through that door."

This comment was enough for her to slowly turn towards and look blankly back at him while replying, "confusion: Why is Yuzuru looking at you a problem?"

Annoyed by the response, Burchard continues to look back at her while saying, "I don't care if you do but I want to know why."

She intern blinks back at him a few times until, to his surprise, she starts to smile warmly back at him while saying, "rebuttal: yuzuru just thinks you are cute if that is okay with you?"

Caught of guard by the statement, he can't help but have his cheeks go bright red as he stutters back, "o-oh?"

Too embarrassed to say anything else and with the joy she seemed to be getting from his reaction not helping, he slowly looks back at the white board while muttering, "g-good to know."

She couldn't help but stifle a chuckle while enjoying his reaction and thinking, "joy: so this is how he look when he's embarrassed?"

Though she does get surprised when he scratches his cheek while saying, "I have to admit, you did surprise me."

Intrigued by what he said, she looks back at him with a raised eyebrow while asking, "curiosity: oh? And why is that?"

He intern looks back at her with an innocent smile while saying, "because I was hoping to call you cute first."

She sits there silently and tries her best to hold a straight face but with her face now turning multiple shades of red, and steam practically shooting out of her ears, she finds herself look back at the board and is barely able to mutter, "annoyance: no fair."

Though his cheeks were still red, he continues to smile at her while saying, "oh? And who said anything about being fair?"

She continues to stare forward but can't help but look lovingly at him with through her peripheral while thinking, "joy: though Yuzuru does not know what has happened to him, she is happy that he is still the same boy she fell in love with."

Funnily enough, Burchard continues to ignore the class at hand and instead continues to smile at Yuzuru while thinking, "even though I've only just met you, I feel like you're someone I want to get to know."

While this was unfolding, Kaguya couldn't help but glance over at her sister happily talking to Burchard and though she was glad her sister was happy, she couldn't help but feel conflicted by what she was seeing while thinking to herself, "I'm glad Yuzuru is happy but this whole situation makes no sense? It's one thing for him to have survived and I'm glad he did but how can he be in our class?"

Unsure of what to think, she looks over at the other side of the room where Shido and Tohka looked like they were discussing the same topic though from their expressions, she could tell that they were just as stumped as she was.

As Kaguya continues to try and understand everything going on, the classroom door suddenly flies open which causes the whole classroom to stop and look at the door while ms Tamae looks over with a confused look while saying, "don't tell me we're getting another transfer student."

As Burchard looks over at the door, he is surprised to see a girl with short white hair and stone face expression like Yuzuru though her eyes were fully open. She walks into the room and graciously bows to ms Tamae while saying, "forgive my tardiness, I had an appointment to attend."

Ms Tamae looks back at her surprised while responding, "oh? Well that's quite alright Origami. Now please take your seat."

She raises her head but instead of going to her seat as instructed, she stands there motionlessly while glaring at something in the class room. Everyone looked at her with confusion while trying to figure out what she was looking at, though it doesn't take Burchard long to realize that she was glaring directly at him and with a shiver caused by her gaze running down his spine, he couldn't help but think, "what did I do to piss her off?"

After a few more minutes of this uncomfortable stare down, ms Tamae is able to interrupt it by saying, "um origami? Is there a problem?"

She intern looks back at ms Tamae while saying, "nothing at all, I thought I saw something I shouldn't be."

Origami takes one more glance at Burchard before walking over to her seat. Meanwhile Burchard couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy by her statement while thinking, "seeing something she shouldn't be? Is she not supposed to be able to see me?"

"Confirmation: do not worry about her, you have done nothing wrong."

With his thought interrupted by Yuzuru, he looks over at her with curiosity while asking, "why's that?"

She looks back at him with hints of reassurance in her expression while replying, "reply: she has always been an odd one and even though she does give people like Yuzuru and her sister annoyed looks from time to time..."

She points over at Shido while continuing, "most of her attention usually stays on that blue haired boy."

Confused by what she said and feeling a bit concerned, he asks, "what do you mean people like you?"

Realizing that she has said too much and unsure of what to say to him, she decides it was best to stay vague as she says, "reassurance: it is nothing, Yuzuru and Kaguya have just never gotten along with her."

Unconvinced by the response though unsure of how best to respond, he simply shrugs it off for now and looks back at the board while responding, "if you say so."

She looks back at him with a small smile while thinking, "reassurance: he still doesn't like seeing people treat Yuzuru badly."

As she continues to smile at him with the warm feeling only growing in her heart, she says, "comfort: thank you for worrying about Yuzuru."

He continues to look forward though couldn't help but feel the warmth from her smile which causes his cheeks to turn flush as he attempts to look forward while asking, "can you stop smiling at me?"

Undeterred, she continues to smile at him while responding, "curiosity: is Yuzuru smiling at you a bad thing?"

Still refusing to look at her, he continues to stare forward though he is having a hard time hiding his embarrassment while replying, "well no."

She giggles a bit then responds, "confirmation: then Yuzuru will continue smiling at you."

This unfortunately only makes him feel more embarrassed though with an idea coming to mind, he says, "but then won't you miss the class?"

She continues to smile at him but to his relief she slowly looks forward while saying, "confirmation: you have a point."

With that, the class continues as normal, but Burchard couldn't help but notice Yuzuru look over and smile at him every once in a while, though he does his best to ignore her for the rest of class.
