A/N: And here, we have another episode for Adventure Time. Surprise! And this time, before Tree Trunks, it's "My Best Friend's a Vampire"! This is due to the timeline of events in canon regarding Tree Trunks' appearance. In other words, "Evicted" was made before "Tree Trunks". If there are any episodes that have Tree Trunks in it before "Crystals Have Power", please let me know in your reviews. As you may have noticed by now, the most recent chapter before this one has been updated. Also, the final note here about the schedule update for Adventure Time is one 11-minute long episode on Wednesday and another 11-minute long episode on Thursday. Apart from that, that is all.

Adventure Time with Finn, Jake, & Rachel

Chapter 4: My Best Friend's a Vampire

It all began on a dark and stormy night at the Tree Fort as a vampire bat flew over to it. Once it arrived, it peeped through the window and saw Jake telling his scary story with Finn, in his full-body red pajamas, and Rachel, in her light blue short sleeved shirt with long black pants and her crown-like choker off, listening in.

"And as it waded through the carnage that it had wrought, the vampire smashed their skulls just for the fun of it!", Jake said, smashing his jelly-filled doughnut for emphasis.

"No way!", Finn exclaimed.

"Yes way, it did. And also the vampire hunched over its victims and breathed their vaporized blood mist.", Jake said, creeping closer to Finn and waving his doughnut at him while warbling with his tongue.

Rachel, however, just nodded and shrugged along.

"Ah, jeez! Jake, is this stuff you're saying true? Or are you just trying to mess me up? You have to be honest.", Finn said as Jake got off his bed.

"Oh, it's true, man. I heard it through a reliable source.", Jake responded, turning to him and picking up his plate.

"Reliable? Rats!", Finn exclaimed.

"Heh. I bet I could handle these guys. After all, Marceline and I did a while back.", Rachel responded.

"What?!", Finn and Jake reacted.

"Yeah. You heard me.", Rachel responded.

"Dude, you never told me you fought vampires before. Are you pulling one over me?", Jake asked.

"What? No. It became our profession a long time ago after Dad went Kookoo bananas. And about Marceline? Well..., she can be a bit messed up, but she means well. And she always came through for me just as much as I often did for her.", Rachel explained, not knowing that the vampire bat who was listening gave a fond smile from hearing this.

"Rad. I wanna meet her sometime. If she's still around, that is.", Finn said.

"Me, too.", Jake said.

"Well, I don't know about that... But... we'll see.", Rachel grinned as she curled up into a ball position and wrapped her hair around her whole body to act as a blanket with only her head peeping out of it.

The sight of it, made Finn chuckle

"Yeah. In the meantime, we'll have to be careful. Some say a vampire haunted this very tree!", Jake said.

"This tree?!", Finn reacted.

"This tree?", Rachel gasped.

"Wait. Does that mean what I think it means?", Rachel thought.

"Good niiiight...", Jake said ominously, carrying his lantern down with him, the room getting dark.

"Jake?", Finn asked only to hear Jake warbling downstairs again.

"You're full of it, Jake!", Finn shouted only for Jake to warble ominously again.

"Don't listen to him, Finn. That's just a scary story. A friend of mine and I saw to that a long time ago.", Rachel said.

"Huh. Well, that's good to hear.", Finn said.

"Yeah. Well..., good night, Finn.", Rachel yawned.

"Good night, Rae-Rae.", Finn responded before he went into his sleeping bag.

Suddenly, the two heard croaking and saw a worm on his bed, croaking as he slithered along until he turned, saw Finn, stood up, and warbled loudly.

"NO WORMS ON THE BED!", Finn shouted, tossing his Enchiridion at the worm and knocking it off his bed.

He then tried to go to bed again, but then, Rachel saw a tree limb tapping on the window.

"Huh?", Rachel puzzled for a moment.

"Oh. That's just a tree.", Rachel guessed.

"Oh, yeah. Just a tree.", Finn agreed.

But then, a mysterious figure appeared from below the window and tapped on it.

"Huh?", Finn puzzled.

"Okay, what's going on here?", Rachel asked.

Then, lightning struck! And in that brief flash, the figure's scary face was seen before it went away.

"AAAAAH!", Finn and Rachel screamed before running downstairs.

But only Rachel stopped midway and went back upstairs for a moment back toward the window.

"Huh? Marceline...? Is that you?", Rachel puzzled.

As Finn hurried over to Jake, Rachel caught up to Finn.

"Jake! Jake! Rae-Rae and I saw someone outside the window! It must be the vampire, and I think we're unprepared, so I-", Finn began.

"Relax, buddy. I made that story up. I was just trying to scare you.", Jake assured.

"Wait a minute...! You said you heard it from a reliable source! Did you make that up, too?!", Rachel glared.

"Ha ha! Of course, I did. I was trying to scare you two, and it worked!", Jake responded before laughing.

But all of a sudden, the window blew open by itself, catching the trio by surprise as Rachel and Jake exclaimed before the lights went out and Jake screamed. Then, Finn and Rachel peeped out the window.

"No one's outside.", Finn said before closing the window.

"Whew!", Jake sighed.

"It was just the wind, scaredy-cat.", Rachel glared with a smirk.

"I wasn't scared, I was singing. I was singing my scream song. Ahh! Ahh! AAaah-uh-aah!", Jake fibbed.

"You're a total wuss, man.", Finn commented.

But suddenly, a bag dropped. When the trio turned around and Finn pointed his flashlight up onto the ceiling, he gasped from the sight of a vampire on the ceiling, which hissed and scared Finn and Jake while sending Rachel tumbling onto the couch in surprise.

"Hey, guys. What's up?", Marceline greeted as she landed in-between Finn and Rachel on the couch.

"Wait. Marceline? Is that you?!", Rachel realized in surprise.

"Rae-Rae!", Marceline gasped in genuine surprise.

Happily, the two hugged one another, laughing together, much to Finn's puzzlement and Jake's worry.

"Don't fall for it, Rae-Rae! She's tryin' to trick you!", Jake warned out of fright.

Much to his concern, Marceline hissed and seemed ready to chomp on her neck, making him gasp.

"I can't watch!", Jake exclaimed, covering his eyes.

But all of a sudden, Marceline grew puzzled before she could.

"Wait a minute. Where's all the red?", Marceline puzzled.

"Oh! Hold that thought, Marcy.", Rachel said in realization.

She went back to her part of the room, opened her drawer, and got out a Velcro necklace decorated with an assortment of red cherries. Then, she put it on around her neck whilst returning to Marceline.

"Okay. Go ahead.", Rachel invited.

Marceline then proceeded to chomp down like before, but it was on one of the cherries, draining it of its red essence.

"Thanks for the snack, bestie.", Marceline grinned.

"You're welcome, bestie.", Rachel grinned, the two doing fist-bumps.

"Whoa! What is going on?!", Jake shouted in surprise.

"You're actually friends with a vampire?!", Finn exclaimed.

Rachel widened her eyes as she realized something.

"Oh, yeah. Uh…, remember that friend I told you guys about? Well…, that's her.", Rachel sighed in embarrassment from not having revealed this prior to Marceline's arrival.

"Say what?!", Jake said in surprise.

"Finn and Jake, meet Marceline. Marceline, meet Finn and Jake.", Rachel introduced.

"So…, you're not gonna smash my skull and breathe my blood mist?", Finn asked.

"Or suck our blood?", Jake added, earning Marceline's laugh.

"Calm down, weenies. I'm not gonna do that.", Marceline assured.

With a snap of her fingers, the candles lit up.

"Soooo, you don't suck blood?", Finn asked.

"Sometimes, I do. But it's not the blood that I like. It's the color. I eat shades of red.", Marceline responded.

In emphasis, she sucked the red out of a cherry from Rachel's Velcro necklace, and gave it to Finn.

"Guess who helped her learn to do that?", Rachel grinned.

"Oh.", Jake grinned.

"So, Marcy, what's shaking?", Rachel asked.

"Ugh, I am exhausted. I've been traveling all over the Land of Ooo. And I've seen some stuff that would really make you say 'like what?'", Marceline replied as she went to her bag to unpack some stuff.

"Like what?", Finn and Rachel asked in unison.

"I encountered a school of goldfish beasts.", Marceline replied.

Then, in a flashback, it showed Marceline riding giant goldfish.

"In broad daylight?! Are you serious?!", Rachel exclaimed.

"Nah. More like in broad moonlight.", Marceline responded.

Then, it showed the same thing, but it was nighttime with the full moon hanging in the air before going back to the present.

"Oh. Yeah, that makes sense.", Rachel realized.

"And I fooled around in the Fire Kingdom.", Marceline added.

Then, in another flashback, Marceline was seen hula-hooping in the Fire Kingdom as a sort of princess made of flame was watching from the hourglass with glee before it went back to the present again.

"The Fire Kingdom?! Did that Flame King catch you?", Rachel asked.

"Did he spot me? Yes. But did he catch me? Close, but no. And to say he's a big grouch would be an understatement.", Marceline responded.

In another flashback, the Flame King was already blasting at, and missing, Marceline, who just laughed as she left.

"And don't you come back, you undead squatter!", the Flame King shouted.

"Ooo!", Finn grinned before Marceline went back to Rachel and the others, holding nuts in her hand.

"Oh, and check these out.", Marceline said.

"Nuts?", Finn and Rachel asked.

"Oh, these aren't ordinary nuts.", Marceline replied.

"What do they do?", Mille and Callie asked.

As if to answer, Marceline squeezed the nuts and they became little creatures. One of them even squealed at the sight of Finn and squirted him and Rachel with ink, making them laugh. Then, the creatures walked past Marceline's right hand, walking up past her right arm and down to her left, making the vampiress laugh, too.

"You're wonderful.", Finn laughed.

"Well, what'd you expect? She's my friend.", Rachel grinned.

"Um, yeah. Nice to meet you, Marceline. And thank you for not sucking our blood.", Jake thanked.

"You guys seem cool, too, but as you can imagine, I'm really tired, so you guys should probably get going.", Marceline advised.

"What?", Finn puzzled.

"Why's that?", Rachel asked.

"Look.", Marceline sighed as she used psychokinesis to move a picture frame and reveal an "M" carved into the tree.

"'M' for 'Marceline.'", Marceline replied.

"Aw, man.", Jake groaned, moving her hair off him.

"Oh, crubs! I totally forgot!", Rachel winced with a sharp inhale.

"I carved it in this tree years ago and she even helped me move some of my things in there. Way before you rascals started squatting here.", Marceline said before turning to Rachel.

"And Rae-Rae? If you want, I could offer you a place to crash.", Marceline offered.

Rachel turned to Finn and Jake, who looked worried toward her.

"Marceline... That's nice of you, but I can't do it. Not if Finn and Jake can't live here anymore. I mean, look. They have babies with them.", Rachel responded.

"Woof. I didn't know you care so much about them. And what's it gonna take to please you, girl?", Marceline asked.

Rachel put her fingers on her chin for a moment, examining the mark etched in the treehouse. Then, she got an idea.

"Hmm. How about a wager?", Rachel asked with a smirk.

"What?", Marceline asked, slightly surprised.

"Yeah. We'll all go out on a house-hunting spree.", Rachel said.

"Wait a minute. Did you say house-hunting spree?", Jake asked.

"Uh, yeah. Why?", Rachel asked.

"Maybe we SHOULD go house-hunting. Bag us a new house.", Jake grinned.

"But I like our old home.", Finn groaned.

"Finn, I meant house-hunting for Marceline.", Rachel explained.

"Yeah, so we get to keep our home and Marceline can live somewhere else.", Mille added.

"Oh, yeah.", Finn said.

"I don't know, guys. House-hunting?", Marceline asked.

"House-hunting is wild! You've got to try it.", Jake grinned.

"Oh, really?", Marceline grinned.

"Yeah, man! It is so nuts!", Jake responded, making Marceline laugh.

"You are such a riot, Jake! I'm starting to get why Rachel would wanna hang out with you guys.

"Well, he always knows just what to say.", Finn stated.

"Bla-bla-bla-ble-ble-bla-bloo-bloop!", Jake added, making Finn laugh.

"See? Even I'm convinced.", Finn grinned.

"But what's the endgame, here?", Marceline asked.

"Knowing you as long as I have, you tended to leave your mark on various spots we visited, one of which could actually be a nice set-up, two counting the tree fort.", Rachel said.

"So?", Marceline asked.

"So, if we find that other set-up with your mark on it, then maybe you can live there while Finn and Jake get to keep their tree fort. We'll even help out with getting accommodations set up for it.", Rachel said.

"Okay. And exactly what's gonna stop me from moving back in and kicking them out?", Marceline asked.

"Simple. You have to royal promise not to steal or sell this tree fort to anyone.", Rachel warned.

"Whoa. A Royal Promise?", Marceline asked.

"Yes. And believe me, you don't wanna find out what happens if a royal promise gets broken. Trust me, I saw what happened. And besides, the other place we find might be so cool, you wouldn't even need to move back in here.", Rachel grinned.

"Huh. You make a compelling case. Heh, gotta hand it to you, Rae-Rae, you know how to talk me down. Fine. I accept your deal. And more than that, I royal promise.", Marceline responded with a kneel while shaking her hand.

"Good. We'll head outside and leave at first light.", Rachel said.

Moments later, the gang were now already outside, carrying water bottles and all dressed up for the journey, especially their little game buddy, BMO.

"Hey. Can't the sun, like, destroy you?", Finn asked.

"Yeah, it hurts, but I kinda like it. Reminds me of when I'd scrape my knees up as a kid, and my mom would patch me up... you know what I'm sayin'?", Marceline asked.

"Uh... Jake told me I came out of a cabbage.", Finn said before the group laughed.

"She's nice.", BMO grinned.

"Yeah. She is, BMO.", Rachel grinned.

"Sweet, things are gonna start going our way.", Jake grinned.

"All right, guys. I wanna make sure we got enough water to hydrate us during the journey. As soon as the sun rises, we're off.", Rachel said as she made an ice sun hat for Marceline and gave it to her before the storm clouds dissipated, revealing that the sun is already up.

"Or going right now is also fine.", Rachel said.

"Hey, look, see? What'd I tell ya?", Jake asked.

So, as Rachel and Marceline sang a song together, our heroes began searching for a new house for the Vampire Queen. First, they started with a home that looked quaint enough but turned out to be home to a monster that has taken up the inside of it completely. He tried to get them, but the group took off before he could get them, though not without Rachel playfully tossing a snowball at him. On their next visit, they tried a birdhouse with Finn trying to put his foot in the birdhouse to test whether or not it's somehow habitable while Rachel, in song form, tried to warn him against it, but was too late as the mother bird popped out and angrily tossed worms at the two. Later, as they looked out at the clouds and drank water, they saw a house-shaped cloud. Rachel and Marceline turned to one another, but shook their heads, ruling it out. But as she was going to tell them not to go there, Finn and Jake were already ascending up to the house, which prompted the man of the house to drive them away while guarding his wife. Next, they tried the beehive this time with Jake putting his foot in. Likewise, Marceline, in song form, tried to warn him against it but was just as late as Rachel was, earning the ire of a honeybee, who vomited out honey at Finn and Jake. Later, they all went to a big shell in the middle of a dessert. Once inside, they settle in, but were not exactly sure about the new accommodations. Rachel turned to Marceline, but the vampiress just shrugged. Suddenly, a big frog jumped out and scared Finn and Jake off, especially when said frog barfed out an anthro tiger, who jumped out with a pounce. Once the coast was halfway clear, the tiger tossed out one bag, producing food, and then another, producing fireworks.

Rachel: So, here we are

Set out to find a new home.

It's gonna be tough

For kids and dogs on their own.

Marceline: Here's a little house,

Aw, Finn's stickin' his foot in.

Rachel: Well, that's a bad idea dude

Cause now that bird thinks you're a jerk, Finn!

Marceline: And now they're chillin' on the side of a hill!

And thinkin' livin' in a cloud'd be totally thrillin'

Rachel: Unless they find something inside

Like a mean cloud man and his beautiful cloud bride.

A beehive, oh nooooooooo!

Don't put your foot in there, guy!

Y'all tried that before,

And you know it didn't turn out right!

Marceline: Big shell, go inside.

Look around, it seems alright.

Frog jumps out, and barfs a tiger!

Throwin' down potions for food and fire!

The two girls simply laughed together as the fireworks danced inside the shell.

Now, much later, close to sunset, they came across a weird-house looking thing along with several sticks, which they used to make a recreation of walls, windows, and a door. But even Rachel and Marceline knew it wouldn't come close, especially since that home turned out to be a creature with big eyes and duck lips, which moved, frightening half of the group off while Rachel stayed behind and gave it a gentle pat. Sometime after, the five were now walking together as Rachel turned to Marceline and decided to catch up with her, even asking her own curiosities, especially while out in the middle of a rain at one point as Marceline was playing a game on BMO. Not long after, they finally crossed into the Ice Kingdom, unfortunately attracting the attention of Ice King, who tried to force Finn and Jake away from it, earning Rachel's ire before she flew up and froze the guilty Ice King up to his neck as punishment for him scaring Finn and Jake away. Needless to say, he gave an embarrassed look, which made Rachel and Marceline giggle a bit, though the latter glanced to him with a bit of a sad look for him, which wasn't unnoticed by Rachel, before the two girls flew back to where Finn, Jake, and BMO are.

Marceline: You know you could have stayed

And fought this sexy vampire lady.

Rachel: But Jake was feeling terrified,

He was super scared of your vampire bite.

Which is understandable

'Cause vampires are really powerful.

Marceline: But they were unreasonable

And burnt out on dealing with mortals.

Rachel: Oh, Marceline,

What makes you the queen?

Marceline: I'd make more vampires

but I'd feel very guilty just having them controlled

Rachel: Oh, Marceline,

You wanna check this awesome rain?

Marceline: No I can't,

I'm invested in this very cute video game.

Rachel: So there we all go,

treadin' on the icy ground.

Headin' towards our destiny,

I'm sure we'll figure something out.

"Hey, Gunter. Is that me, or does that hottie with Rae-Rae look familiar?", Ice King asked.

"Wenk-Wenk.", Gunter replied, shaking his head.

"No luck so far.", Mille said.

"Ugh! I can't believe it took us all day and there's still no luck!", Callie groaned.

"Just calm down, Callie. There's just one spot left. The only place I'm sure has your mark on it.", Rachel said.

"Wait, why didn't you check this one earlier?", Marceline asked.

"Hey, gotta expect the unexpected.", Rachel responded.

But Finn no longer had the patience to stomach the rest of the journey.

"This is weak! I don't even like any of these places. I wanna go home.", Finn groaned.

"Finn, let me tell you a little something about what home really means.", Jake said, wrapping his ear around him before playing his viola.

"La, la, la...", Jake said.

"Well, as long as you're at it... Marcy? Bass me.", Rachel said.

"You got it.", Marceline agreed before Rachel started clearing her throat as Marceline got out her bass and started rocking it.

"Home isn't a place, let me give you a clue! Home is anywhere, where people care about you!", Rachel sang in her best attempted death metal voice.

"As much as I love your rockin' voice, Rae-Rae, I don't wanna hear a lecture! I just wanna go home...", Finn groaned.

"But home is where your heart is, Finn! And where is your heart, Finn?", Jake sang next.

"Well, it's right here inside you when we're sitting here beside you!", Jake and Rachel finished in unison before Jake stopped singing.

"With your lucky stars to guide you from above.", Jake said.

Sure enough, they all looked up and saw Saturn and the moon close together. And out from in-between them popped a star in the sky, making them giggle.

"Yeah, I guess I'd rather be out here, wrapped in your ear, than be in some awesome house all by my... souse.", Finn said.

"I think I'd rather stay here with you, Finn.", Mille said.

"And you, too, Jake.", Callie added.

"Well, I'd rather be flying in the air as naked as a cute baby with only my long, snow white hair to cover me.", Rachel said, stunting Marceline.

"Like a phoenix reborn!", BMO cheered.

"Ew, no!", Marceline giggled.

"What? It came to me in a dream.", Rachel responded.

"Well, I'd rather forget hearing that.", Marceline said.

"I'd rather be dancing with some babes!", Jake said, making Finn laugh just as Rachel gasped upon seeing what was up ahead.

"Shut up, dude!", Finn chuckled.

"There it is. The only place we haven't checked yet.", Rachel said.

"We must be getting close. I hope.", Marceline replied as she and the others ventured in.

"Ew... Gross. This place looks gross!", Jake said.

"And abandoned.", Finn commented, his voice echoing.

In no time, the bats who heard the echo awakened and all flew out seemingly toward them, sending Finn and his companions screaming in shock, if not surprise. It turns out they were leaving the cave, leaving it fresh and clean.

"Whoa, bro...", Finn said.

"This cave... It seems familiar.", Marceline said.

"Huh. So, you wanna check if your mark's there?", Rachel asked.

"Yes.", Marceline replied.

So they cleaned the cave and built a house inside the cave.

"So whaddaya think, man? We did pretty good for ourselves.", Jake grinned.

"Yeah, we did...", Callie agreed.

"So, ah, what should we do first with our new digs?", Finn asked.

"Let's trash it and throw a party!", Jake shouted.

Sure enough, the gang started partying. And accompanying them are several dancing bugs, scorpions, bats, snails, and even plankton. Tree Trunks and Mr. Cupcake were also there, as well.

"Whoo! Shake it, Tree Trunks!", Rachel shouted.

"Wow, pretty awesome party ya got here.", Marceline grinned.

"Thanks. Let's get to looking, shall we?", Rachel said.

Marceline nodded and the two went off to look around. Eventually, though, the former noticed a rock formation that seemed familiar to her. She then picked up a smaller rock on top of that and noticed beneath it something that made her gasp.

"Ah, this is it, feelin' good, I'm feelin', I'm feelin' like we did it. I'm feelin', like, completely satisfied. Nothin' else could go wrong, ya know, Jake?", Finn asked as he danced along

"Yeah, man.", Jake grinned.

"Aww, yeah, I know, too.", Finn said.

"Guys! Come quick!", Marceline called.

"Huh?", Finn puzzled in surprise.

"What's wrong?", Jake puzzled as Marceline caught up via flight.

"You gotta check this out!", Marceline said.

"Huh? Check what out?", Finn asked as he and Jake, while carrying Mille, Callie, and BMO, caught up to Marceline as did Rachel.

"Oh, I just wanna show you somethin'. This cave belongs to me!", Marceline replied.

As she did, she unveiled what they were looking for in her ideal home, her trademark "M", making everyone else gasp in joy.

"Thanks for fixing the place up for me.", Marceline grinned.

"Well, it's the least we could do. Accommodations and all. Right, guys?", Rachel asked.

Her friends nodded in agreement to answer.

"Mm-hmm.", Jake nodded.

"We're just glad we were able to find you a home.", Callie said.

"Well, that settles it. We officially found you a home, Marcy. How do you wanna celebrate that? Besides, you know, that party goin' on.", Rachel asked.

"Hmm... Well, how well do you fight without any ice powers?", Marceline asked.

"Ohohoho! You think you can take me without ice powers?", Rachel asked with a smirk.

"Yes, I caaaaaaaaan!", Marceline replied, playing her guitar just as a bee landed on Mr. Cupcake's frosting head.

"Oh, that tears it! Hope you have your alarm clock set, because now, it's vampire-fighting time!", Rachel Smirked.

"Rae-Rae! Nooo! Vampires will kill you, remember!?", Jake warned worriedly, trying to stop Rachel.

"She won't. Vampire or not, she's still my friend. We do spars like this all the time, dude. And besides that, I have been practicing a lot in my free time outside of hanging out with you guys.", Rachel assured.

"But...", Jake began before BMO stopped him.

"Hold it, Jake. Let her cook.", BMO said with an intense glare.

"Whoa. Is that little guy always so intense? I like his style.", Marceline asked.

"You have no idea.", Mille said.

"Thank you, BMO. Jake, hold my tiara.", Rachel said, handing him her tiara after taking it off.

"Okay...", Jake said cautiously.

Then, Rachel and Marceline faced each other and bowed. Afterward, Rachel did her hand signs.

"Fridjitzu Master Rachel summons... Dagger of Chilled Glass! Bring it, girlfriend.", Rachel smirked.

Then, Marceline hissed as her eyes glowed a teal color with red outlines around them.

"It is… so on! Let's rumble, girlfriend!", Marceline smirked as she flew up, turned into a bat, and then grew gigantic while landing on the ground.

"All right. You asked for this! Literally... Flying jump!", Rachel shouted as she leapt toward her.

"Rae-Rae!", Jake shouted.

Marceline just laughed as she caught the Ice Princess Ninja.

"You're pathetic, little girl!", Marceline smirked before then slapping her to the ground.

"Oh, am I? Icicle Kick!", Rachel shouted, kicking her dagger of chilled glass toward Marceline, who hissed as the dagger left a small cut across her left cheek underneath her left eye before breaking into pieces upon hitting the rocky wall.

When Rachel landed, she cast her hand signs again.

"Force of Blizzard!", Rachel shouted as she used it on the ground to launch herself toward the giant vampire bat.

While ascending, she cast her hand signs again.

"Fridjitzu Master Rachel summons... Stars of Frozen Rain! Get ready to be... starstruck!", Rachel shouted, summoning Ice Shuriken and then launching them toward Marceline.

"Make me.", Marceline smirked before she leapt up in time to avoid most of the stars with one nearly grazing her.

"D'oh!", Rachel exclaimed in surprise before falling down.

As she descended, Marceline slapped Rachel's butt, making her widen her eyes and squeak before landing as the vampiress laughed and was about to attack again when Rachel cast her hand signs again.

"Snowblind!", Rachel shouted before smashing her snowball against the ground, making her disappear as it went upward.

And right behind her, 3 clones appeared, stunting the vampiress in surprise.

"Wow. You've multiplied? That's new. But still not good enough.", Marceline smirked right before then grabbing them all and tossing them to the ground only for them to explode into snow and disappear upon impact.

"What the...?! They're all fakes?!", Marceline exclaimed.

"Gotcha... Caltrop Hailstorm!", Rachel shouted as she cast the hand signs for it and then fired it at Marceline.

"Whaaaaat?", Finn asked in amazement.

"Awesome...", Mille and Callie said in unified awe.

But while it did pelt her with pointed hail, Marceline just powered through it, catching Rachel by surprise before pushing her into the wall with a slap.

"Bleh-bleh! Blah!", Marceline spoke eagerly as she stepped toward Rachel, who, with strong determination stood back up.

Meanwhile, Jake became worried for Rachel more than ever, even if Marceline is her best friend.

"I've... gotta help my buddy.", Jake said, preparing to stop the fight before it could get any worse.

But BMO saw what he was doing.

"No! Not today!", BMO shouted, determined not to let Jake interrupt the fight as it went after him.

"I've gotta say, Rae-Rae. You've pulled some very clever techniques. But they're nowhere near enough. Your blood is mine!", Marceline shouted.

But all of a sudden, Jake, while wearing Rachel's tiara, let out a warbling battle cry as he launched himself toward her with BMO hanging onto him.

"Don't interrupt the fight!", BMO shouted.

"Jake? BMO?!", Rachel said in surprise.

With that, Jake blasted at Marceline, covering her head with snow, and stretched his arms and legs around Marceline's head to block her vision. But when he made contact, he felt something pointy on his butt, making Finn and Jake gasp in surprise, if not shock, which was for Finn's case, let alone Mille's and Callie's.

"Uh oh.", Jake said as he shriveled up.

Apparently, Marceline accidentally sucked Jake's blood and gasped as she moved back, reeling from this discovery and causing his shriveled body to land on the snow pile.

"Yabba dabba dabba dabba.", Jake said weakly.

Meanwhile, BMO and Rachel's tiara landed on another snow pile, but not before BMO shouted.

"Jake shall be avenged!", BMO shouted before she landed head-first.

Even Marceline was shocked as well as Rachel as the former gasped.

"Marcy? What just happened?", Rachel asked in shock.

"I didn't mean it. I was blinded by the snow and he landed on my fangs, I swear!", Marcy responded.

"I don't think I like where this is headed...", Rachel said in worry.

Suddenly, Finn roared in fury and charged toward Marceline.

"Finn, no!", Callie shouted.

"Finn, wait!", Mille and Rachel shouted.

But her plea fell on deaf ears.

"Ahh, I've gotta stop Finn before he gets himself hurt.", Rachel said in worry.

Then, Rachel turned to see the snow just below Marceline.

"That's it!", Rachel grinned.

Then, she cast her hand signs again.

"Fridjitzu Master Rachel summons... Arrow of Ice!", Rachel shouted, forging it.

"And combined with the magic snow from Jake's sacrificial attack... and flying jump...!", Rachel said as she kicked the arrow in half and scooped snow into the tip of each half before jumping into the air.

"Polar Kunai Attack!", Rachel shouted, launching her two kunai forward.

Meanwhile, determined to avenge Jake, he ran up to her and was about to jump toward her, but was promptly stopped by one of Rachel's Kunai while another struck Marceline in the face.

"Ow!", Marceline said.

Then, Rachel landed on the ground with her hand pressed against the ground.

"Hah!", Rachel smirked.

"That actually hurt, Rae-Rae.", Marceline said.

"Well, duh. That's the whole point. If I didn't mean to hurt you, it'd be different. After all, the first rule of any kind of ninjutsu is do no harm. Unless you mean to do harm. Then, do LOTS of harm!", Rachel replied, making Marceline laugh.

Then, she leapt toward Rachel with a roar only to turn back to normal and giggle while near her before kissing her on the cheek, making her blush in surprise.

"Congratulations, Rae-Rae.", Marceline grinned.

"Huh? Why did you just do that?", Rachel asked.

"'Cuz that was fun! I haven't fought like that in years! Thanks, Rachel.", Marceline thanked with a bow.

"You're welcome.", Rachel replied as she stood up and bowed.

"But why didn't you attack me for Jake?", Marceline asked.

"Because, as long as my Tiara's off, the headband of an Ice Ninja is worn in its place. And as an Ice Ninja myself, I can sense the intentions of my opponents. I know you didn't mean to bite Jake the way you did.", Rachel responded as she put her tiara back on.

"Finn! Rae-Rae!", Jake shouted as he rushed over to Finn and Rachel.

"Jake, you're okay!", Mille, Callie, amd Rachel grinned.

"Aren't you dead?", Finn asked.

"Naaah, before she accidentally bit me I used my powers to shrink all my guts and blood over my thumb, see?", Jake explained as he did so.

"Yeah, but how? I didn't see your thumb that big before.", Rachel puzzled.

"I shrunk that one, too.", Jake responded.

"Oh. That makes sense.", Rachel said before turning to Marceline.

"By the way, remember that dream I told you about?", Rachel asked.

"Why are you bringing that up?", Marceline asked.

"Because Dad was in there, too. And more importantly, the Cosmic Owl as well.", Rachel responded.

Marceline gasped in surprise while Finn and Jake were just as shocked.

"What?! You didn't tell me the cosmic owl was there?!", Jake exclaimed.

"You didn't ask.", Rachel responded.

"Dude, that means it was a prophetic dream. He could be telling you something wildly significant!", Jake guessed.

"That's just it. He told me that I have the capability to command more power than I ever knew I had.", Rachel responded.

"You think that Fridjitzu style of yours might have something to do with it?", Marceline asked.

"Who knows? I have been practicing it without my tiara on.", Rachel replied.

"Well, that's a good start.", Jake responded.

"Who knew?", Marceline asked in surprise.

"Speaking of practicing, could you teach me and Jake how to do Fridjitzu? Because it's MATHEMATICAL!", Finn shouted excitedly, making Rachel giggle.

"Sure, Finn. Of course I can teach it to you guys.", Rachel grinned.

"I wanna learn that, too.", Mille grinned.

"Yeah. Once we become adults again.", Callie added.

"I'm not sure how long it'd take before then, but sure. That works.", Rachel grinned.

"Rad!", Finn, Mille, Jake, and Callie responded before Marceline cleared her throat.

"You were pretty hardcore without ice powers back there. Same for your friends, too. I can appreciate that.", Marceline grinned.

"You weren't too bad yourself, Mar-Mar.", Rachel grinned.

"So, that means we can keep our house, right?", Mille asked.

"Yeah! Keep it, as a gift from me. Blaeargh!", Marceline hissed before Finn, Jake, and Rachel took off with BMO, Mille, and Callie screaming, though only Rachel stopped and turned to Marceline.

"Hope to see you again, soon, Mar-Mar!", Rachel shouted before taking off in eagerness.

"Same here, Rae-Rae!", Marceline shouted.

At sunrise, Rachel went back to the Ice Kingdom to thaw the sleeping Ice King out. Once that was done, it was already morning. By then, everyone arrived back to the tree fort.

"Yeah!", Finn, Jake, and Rachel spoke excitedly.

But then, they noticed a bunch of worms around the room. BMO popped out and shouted.

"Intruders!", BMO shouted.

From the sound of BMO's voice, the worms turned around and warbled loudly.

"Did you guys get on the bed? I told you, YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED!", Finn scolded.

Suddenly, a booming voice spoke up.

"Oh, hey, guys.", the King Worm spoke up as he appeared while slithering down.

"Huh?", Rachel asked.

"Come here, friends... Hug me...", King Worm spoke before then using his mind to control Finn and Jake to make them hug him.

"Aw, yeah, hug me... wawawawawawawawa...", King Worm said before suddenly, he was blasted out with Force of Blizzard, same for the other worms with him, too.

"Get out of our house, King Worm!", Rachel spoke in a deep voice just as Finn and Jake recovered.

"Hey, where'd all the snow come from?", Jake asked before BMO popped out of the snow.

"Snow day!", BMO, Mille, and Callie spoke eagerly.
