Back at the Shield Academy…
To say that their latest adventure was an interesting one would be putting it in the mildest way possible as Peter was in an ocean of emotions.
Scarlet Spider was alive, they find Ock as he got a new body, Ben turned out to be a clone of Peter, MJ is Spider Woman, and Ben has brothers, who he decided to bring home with him. Not that Peter would blame him for wanting to take them back home. It's not the Spider Slayer's fault they there created to kill Spider-man and besides, this was their chance to have lives, real lives where they can decide for themselves. Peter felt it was his moral obligation to help them get acquainted with the real world, his responsibility. After all, they came from him, and even though he would like to deny it, they are a part of him.
As Peter thought more and more about it, the Slayers, including Ben, they share some of his traits. Ben has his leadership skills, good heart, and combative talents, Goliath has his strength and his undaunting will, Ghost Spider has his gentle nature, friendliness, and sort of good sense of humor, and Bone Spider has his competitiveness and rebellious nature. But what was weird was that Peter felt a connection to them. Ben, yes naturally, they have history and he considered him family, but the new ones, it felt weird. It was somewhat like how Pete felt for Miles.
Spider-man was so lost in thought that he didn't even notice Ghost Spider standing right in front of him.
"Oh! Hello, Ghost." Peter squeaked as he didn't know what else to say.
Ghost Spider said nothing as everyone was looking at the slayer with concern. The strange clone leaned very close to Peter, too close. Then out of nowhere, he pulls off Peter's mask!
"Hey, hey, what are you-?"
Before Scarlet could finish, Ghost pulled off his own mask to reveal a boy's face, Peter's and Ben's features but with white feathery hair and sharp blue eyes. Everyone was confused about what was going on, especially Peter. The other slayers, minus Ben were looking at Peter weirdly too. Ghost then looked at the masks and then back to Peter.
"Yep. I kind of look like you." Peter joked a bit nervously.
Then out of nowhere, Ghost hugs him.
"Uh…"
"Warm. Warm and sweet." Ghost uttered as Peter instinctively patted his head.
"Dude, what is up with him?" Flash wondered then the other two slayers came to Peter and hugged him too.
"Warm… Sweet…"
That was all they muttered.
"Pete, you okay over there?" Mary Jane questioned as she wanted to be sure they weren't hurting him.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just a little surprised," Peter admitted.
"Fascinating, it appears that the Spider-Slayers are imprinted on Peter through senses and instincts." Cho marveled as he tried to get close, but the three of them began to growl at him, "Okay, okay, I won't get too close."
"Imprinted?" Ben questioned as he looked at his brother, kind of questioning the feelings in him as well.
Was this feeling-?
"They think Peter is their mom?" Miles gasped as Flash began to laugh.
"Wait, wait, wait, there is no way I'm their mother!" Peter stuttered as he was blushing, making Flash laugh harder.
"In a way, you are. Ock may have created them, but it takes DNA, takes two to tango. If Ock's the dad and your blood spawned them then you're the mom. Congratulations." Cho explained as Flash was on the floor laughing, MJ snickering a bit too and Miles was trying hard not to smile.
"Mum…" The Slayer's uttered as Peter's face was completely red and covering his face.
"Congrats on having a mommy, Ben." Flash joked.
"Shut up."
At the Labs…
Sam was laughing the hardest he ever had with Flash while Danny congratulated Peter on Motherhood.
"This is kind of Surreal. Ben's back with his brothers, all of them are clones are Peter, who is now a mom." White Tiger was trying to prosses.
"In fairness, Pete's always been the mom of the group," Luke admitted.
"Now he's got more kids to look after," Dagger added as Connors was being careful of examining the slayers without making them mad.
Pete had to keep them calm as they still haven't let go.
"Well?" Peter wondered as Bone was hugging him tightly.
"They seem to be okay and what Amadeus said is true. They have imprinted on you."
"If that's true then how come Ben hasn't imprinted on me?"
"Who said he hasn't?"
Everyone looked at Scarlet Spider, who refused to say anything.
"Aw, Ben sees Petey as his mommy." Kid Nova teased him.
"Watch it, Bucket Head. I can still chuck you off the roof." Ben snarled.
"Such vulgar and in front of your mom!" Kid Nova mocked gasp.
"You even called him Bucket Head; you do see Pete as your mom!" Cho added as everyone was having a laugh.
"Then that makes me the Stepdad, right? Since I'm dating Pete." Harry added as he was getting close to Pete.
Goliath didn't like that and pushed Harry down! He was going to punch him as the other heroes were prepared to fight, but Peter stepped in!
"Hey, no, we do not push others down! Harry is my boyfriend, and you shouldn't be rough because he got close to me!" Peter scolded Goliath.
"Sorry…"
"No, apologize to Harry. Hug and make-up." Peter ordered as Goliath did so, Peter kind of snapping out of his maternal instincts, "Okay, that was weird."
"It is your animal instincts, Peter." Ka-Zar explained, "You, yourself have imprinted on all of us as your children, except for Harry, who you took up as your mate. It is in your nature to nurture and teach us."
Peter turned red again as the others were having a laugh, it seemed that this was not the first time he's done this.
"It may be best to take them back home with you Peter. Seeing you as their mother, they will look to you to be their guide." Connors advised.
Peter sighed but he understood.
"Okay boys, gather around." Peter requested of the three slayers, who did as they were told, "We will be together for now on and I will be here to teach you the real world, outside of HYDRA and Ock. Ben, the others, and I are going to teach you three how to be yourselves. The first step is to have real names, you're people, not weapons."
"Names…"
"Yes, I mean, take Scarlet for an example, he has a name, and with a name comes freedom to be an individual."
Ben felt some pride in how Peter presented him, with an example of how to be, even though he felt that he didn't deserve it.
"What would our names be…?" Bone Spider wondered as Peter took a moment to think about it.
"Well, since you're so silent and yet so independent and sweet, Ghost, how about Wulf, Wulf Reilly?" Peter suggested as Ghost seemed to like it.
"Wulf… I am Wulf."
"Really, Spidey, Wulf?" Nova scoffed as he earned a glare.
"For Bone Spider, he should have a name for showing how free he is and should have a name to show that. How about Abraham?" Cho suggested as Bone Spider liked that name.
"And for Goliath… Maybe he should have the name Heracles, after the hero who slew the Hydra?" Harry suggested as the Goliath Spider liked it.
"So that settled, Wulf, Abraham, and Heracles it is. Now, you guys stay with Ben while I phone up Aunt May, tell her who's come home with extra family." Peter requested as Ben cringed a bit, but Peter gave him a pat on the shoulder, "Don't worry, she still loves you and she'll forgive you."
Peter then left as he knew he would have a lot to tell his aunt. But he knew she had a big heart, hopefully, she won't give him grief on being a mom.
But she will, she was his aunt, it was her job.
