"Look, the doctors!"

In the meantime, paramedics had gathered in front of the company's large building and rushed in with their equipment. The injured were immediately collected on stretchers and the patients who barely made it through were treated on the spot.

Unfortunately, there were also fallen ones.

"There's nothing more we can do for him," one of the doctors covered a member of the staff with the sheet before his colleagues took him away. Ratchet and Clank stood next to this doctor, who was in charge of the whole operation, while Rivet and Kit helped some paramedics. "Who caused this," the alien with green skin, three fingers and only one eye looked at the damage to the studio, to which the Lombax didn't hesitate with his answer, "One of the Heavy Vikings had a double life and now that we've arrived here, she's dropped her cover."

"Those terrorists..." the bearded doctor clenched his fists before calming down again, "Did something happen to you heroes?"

"No... I only lost a tuft of fur, but otherwise everything is fine. It'll grow back," Ratchet returned with his cool demeanor before the last patient was led away. It was the leader Flatts, whose arm was full of bandages and barely had his eyes open. However, he used his healthy hand to stop the doctors from taking him to hospital.

"Thank you... for saving my staff, I really mean it."

The four heroes looked at the slight smile of the blue one, who was now being led into the transport vehicle. "He'll get through. We hope he doesn't need a prosthesis," the doctor then turned back to his shuttle before looking at the lombaxes, "Take good care of yourselves!"

And so the doctors flew off. The four heroes then decided to return to their ship to fly back home. The shooting was a thing of the past. "Oh dear... do you think that was a trap," Clank said to himself as they flew to the stars, "If this extremist was working here, then this must have been an attempt to catch us."

"Yes, but for what," it was Rivet's turn to fly. Her gaze remained focused out through space while the orange one next to her touched the spot where his fur had been cut off: "Earlier... she said that the guys needed my blood."

"Your blood," his girlfriend looked worriedly at Ratchet for a moment, where the little bots in the back seat were also curious: "But why?" "She didn't told me that. We're lucky it was only a few hairs that I lost," said the Lombax with a slight grin before the flight continued in silence.

"Victor... what are you up to," the silver one whispered.

The stars were already visible in Megalopolis.

The heroes landed on their special landing pad before walking back towards the apartment. It was only a few minutes and the four of them were back at their front door. Ratchet opened the door and climbed in first, before slipping off his shoes, "I'm really tired... and done. I'm going to bed."

"I'll be right there," said Rivet, who helped Kit tidy up a few things and watched her friend walk towards the bedroom. Clank, on the other hand, joined the two women for a while before slowly retiring to his room. The rebel grabbed a snack before saying goodnight to her best friend.

"See you tomorrow, Kit."

"Good night, Rivet," the yellow robot girl waved to her, as the Lombax lady entered the bedroom. She had actually expected Ratchet to be asleep by now, but he was still awake. He was reading a book and the lamp next to him was still on. Rivet changed her clothes so that she was standing there in just an undershirt and her underpants before crawling into the comforter, "What are you reading?"

"Catch the Rainbow: Forbidden love," Ratchet looked over at her briefly, which made the rebel grin a bit: "Oh, I didn't know you read such tearjerkers, hehe.

"Well, it's still better than your horror thrillers. What was the name of yours again...oh yes *Bloody Shadows*. I read it once and couldn't sleep for a week." There was a short silence before they both laughed. The laughter quickly died down as the hero placed his bookmark and put the book aside, followed by the light being switched off.

"Ratchet," Rivet snuggled closer to him and stroked his furry chest with her left hand, "Do you think those guys want to hurt you?" "Hm..." the orange one thought for a long time: "Yes. Victor wants revenge, and if he wants to finish off Clank, he has to destroy me first. I'm in his way, so he'll want to get rid of me first!"

"No matter what happens... we'll finish the tin can together," his girlfriend reassured him, placing a kiss on the orange one's cheek. Ratchet had to smile briefly, because he always liked this gesture, and so the hero closed his eyes peacefully to fall into a soothing sleep.

But Rivet didn't stop.

She came away from his face and then began to kiss the side of his neck seductively several times and stroked his entire upper body with her hand. "Rivet...please...I'm tired, I don't want to today," but his words didn't reach her, because the rebel continued with her gesture and her hand stroked even more gently along his stomach. Normally the orange Lombax would be happy about this, but after this stressful day he was far too tired to do anything else. Even if it was to enjoy the togetherness.

"Stop... now, please," he turned around with his back to her. The white lombax was briefly confused by this reaction. But it got worse. She thought her boyfriend was playing a game with her, which made her grin. Rivet lay down gently next to her boyfriend and seemed to want to sleep, but then she wrapped her left arm around him. Ratchet thought for a moment that the rebel had finally stopped and just wanted to cuddle, so he finally closed his eyes peacefully and walked closer towards the land of dreams.

But then he felt her hand.

Not just feel it somehow. Rivet had placed her hand on his most vunerable body part without warning, but now he jumped up and stood in front of the bed. The hero turned the light back on as he looked angrily at his girlfriend's confused face. "What are you doing? I said I'm tired," he announced almost too loudly to himself that then Rivet finally signaled that her orange lover wasn't pulling a game, "Wait, you're serious?"

"YES...I'd like to get some sleep now," he actually wanted to switch off the light before a pillow came flying at him. Even angrier, Rivet crossed her arms. Her blue eyes glared angrily at his green eyes before she finally spoke.

"Am I no longer attractive enough for you?"

"W...What?! YOU'RE DOING IT AGAIN," Ratchet suddenly said out loud, "You're turning it around again, as if I'm the bad guy here. That's not true, I just want to sleep tonight." Slowly, the rebel understood, but she was still a little angry and Ratchet's next action didn't help. He opened a drawer and pointed angrily into the empty compartment, "Besides, we don't have any more protection, so no more tonight, okay?" He sat back down on the bed, but had only caused the next discussion. "Maybe I want one this time," came a whisper from the rebel, whereupon the male Lombax furrowed his brow in annoyance.

"Rivet... we've talked about this. I don't want children yet."

"...I know...I don't either," she said, sobbing slightly, "I'm sorry, Ratchet. I know we want to wait, but that just came out of me because I was angry."

"It's all right now, okay," he then took her gently in his arms, to which she returned the hug: "Let's just go to sleep and tomorrow's another day, okay?" Rivet nodded before Ratchet gave her another kiss and then covered himself up again. The rebel did the same, but this time they both had their backs to each other and didn't look at each other. It had been a hard day, which had once again ended in an argument. Both hoped inwardly that it wouldn't happen again and finally fell asleep with that thought.

Their love was really put to the test by these terrorists.

Deep in space, the Manowar flew through the stars. Marit was back on board by now and the other Heavy Vikings approached her eagerly, with Victor leaning against the wall just a little to one side, "Were you successful, Marit?"

"Not quite," the female robot held out her hand and handed over the tuft of hair from the orange Lombax. The robots were a little horrified at first, but then Pluto took the hair with his hooked hand: "I think... that should be enough, because take a closer look!" The extremists and Victor now took a closer look at the tuft and finally recognized the red dot on it.

A single drop of blood had clung to it.

"Good work, Marit," Kettil patted the lady on the back, giving her a proud grin. "Oh, I could have done that just as well," said Gunar, the robot with green hair playing offended in front of him, which only brought an annoyed look from the red leader, "You would have torn the whole place down and not left a lombax behind."

"Shut up, I need to concentrate," the pirate sat at the computer again and placed the piece of fur in a slot. Finally, the revived robot joined him and looked at the screen eagerly: "Is it working, Pluto?"

"Just a moment..." he tapped a few more buttons, squinted at new systems and then started a download.

"So Victor. You want to see the lombax's memory on the screen, don't you?"

"Yes..." said the white one menacingly, which was then concluded with a beep from the device, "Well, congratulations. My invention works, and now we can see the whole life of the lombax on here."

"Fast forward to where I was dead," all the robots were now staring at Ratchet's memories. He had been through a lot since Victor's death. The Proto-Pet Scandal, the first fight against Nefarious, the Cragmite Tachyon and also pirate robots, which made Pluto smile, "Oh, mateys..."

"Enough reminiscing," Kettil pressured the pirate, who continued. They then saw the large watch and the other lombax, which was also white and had red stripes. "He could easily come across as the father of this rebel girl," laughed the crew, before they saw Ratchet's fight with Alister come to an end and then suddenly the screen went black, "Oh, bloody hell! I need another rehearsal to see more details." "

You serious?. I WANT TO SEE THIS TO THE END," Widar whined to himself, jumping up and down.

"OK, calm down," Kettil quieted the big man down again. Victor, on the other hand, was not particularly pleased with the result, "It's better that we get a new sample! I need more details, and the rest will certainly reveal some weaknesses that we can use against the two lombaxes!"

"Then it's my turn," Pluto stood up and walked to the capsule, "I'll get my second ship and if they cross my path, I'll surprise the heroes!"

"Take care of yourself, Pluto," Kettil added: "You're our smartest member here, and if they manage to destroy you, we're finished." "Don't worry, Kettil. I'll get that," the pirate walked down to the space capsules that would shoot him into space, then he would have to find his second ship and wait for the lombaxes. He had already calculated a plan to catch them both and grab another sample. The former pirate grinned behind his mask and then grabbed a bottle from his cabin, which was stationed down here, and then climbed in.

"Fifteen lombaxes on the dead man's chest, YO HO HO and a bottle of rum," he sang to himself with a laugh and drank the rum before the capsule shot him into space.
