Rin sat on the couch, making herself home. His apartment has not changed much, asides from a new flatscreen, PS5, and a simulator racing rig. Liu's passion for cars got him to spend the racing rig to practice his driving skills when he's not on the road. Rin took a magazine dedicated to car tuning. Rin didn't understand some terminologies, but the pictures and articles were colorful.

Rin smiled at Liu. "Mmm, I can feel the stress going away."

Liu sat next to her. "Have you figured out your game plan for the tag-team tournament?"

"It's going," Rin replied. "I talked to my support team of diversifying strategies if one does not work."

"So things are settled?"

"I want Ichika to be my partner. I'll settle with Houki if he's taken."

"No complications with her?"

"So far, so good. Asides from the minor fight to protect Ichika, we're tight as glue."

"Back up, what was the fight for?" Liu laid a hand on her shoulder. "Ichika can protect himself, so why were you guys playing bodyguard?"

Rin sighed. "We wanted to protect Ichika from nearly getting killed from his recent mission. His Byakushiki was temporarily down, and I feared that he's exposed to enemy attack."

Rin doesn't know further details because Charlotte and Ichika kept their lips shut to not reveal the rest. Liu knew the feeling of not divulging too much to outsiders.

"I know it was stupid and should have put our egos aside." Rin stretched her arms. "That's what I get for being rash."

Liu gestured to Rin. "Come here."

Rin laid her head on his lap as Liu stroked her hair gently. Rin smiled at the dragon.

"Feeling better?" Liu asked.

"Depends on the "better" is, and what you want to hear."

"The usual, "I really want to stay at your house."

"Seems you played out this talk all on your own…was it force of habit?"

"Rin…"

"I did! I miss you."

Liu caressed her cheek. "I could sit here with you all day."

Rin giggled. "I like that."

Liu leaned to her lips slowly to kiss Rin for the first time. He was not shy nor embarrassed. Rin smiled at Liu taking the initiative.

"Let's talk a little bit longer before I might get called."

"You have no idea how much I needed that."

Rin hopped out of the couch, leaned against the window to stare at the mega skyline. "Japan's crime free country. I'd love to kick the shit off the idiot who thought that one up."

"It could be worse," Liu said. "Preach all you want of how safe your city is, but crime never stops. There's someone or something looking for fast money, fame, and fortune. Even if it means clipping your own people."

Liu went to the bathroom to self-reflect on his ongoing adventure with Chifuyu as his complicated ally. He must kill Three Dragons for what she did to him. To top it off, he is dating Rin, finally accomplishing his dreams he failed to do back then. She was his guiding light to not get consumed by his revenge. Liu felt more than grateful to have her.

Rin grabbed his shoulders to kiss him on the cheek. Liu grinned at the beautiful sight.

"Mmhmm, I could not ask for more." Rin purred, swaying her hips.

Rin laid on the couch again, asking for more cuddling time. Liu followed suit happily.

I didn't put much thoughts into it. Threw in whatever works for Rin and Liu to let it play out. As for the text-chat style, this is the first and last time to experiment what it looks like.
