The next day, Tommy and his friends and the Road Rovers arrived at the Pearl Harbor memorial site. "Here it is, the Peral Harbor Memorial sites where the USS Arizona and USS Battleship Missouri ships were attacked and sank to the bottom with US military personnel that were trapped and drowned," Jake solemnly said.
As the heroes approached the memorial site, an old goat holding a cane walked up to them. "Careful, folks. Even though it has been over 80 years since the attack on Peral Harbor, there are still spirits still trapped aboard the Arizona," the old goat warned them.
Wally scoffed at the notion. "What kind of a sick joke is this?" Wally asked.
"Don't you believe in ghosts Wally?" Hector asked.
Wally scoffed. "No, they are-" and right there, Wally was lifted into the air by an unknown force. Then, he fell right into the water.
"Wally! Hang on, buddy!" Hector called as he removed his shirt and dove into the water.
"Oh my God!" Joey called.
Hector swam towards Wally as he spotted his friend and pulled him out of the water. When they got out of the water, Wally looked so scared that he looked like he had seen a ghost. "Oh my God! That was a ghost!" Wally screamed.
"I warned you that there are still ghosts in there, silly boy," the old goat laughed.
"Maybe you should stay here and keep an eye on us on the surface, Wally," Tommy said as he wrapped a blanket around him.
"Let's roll, Rovers and SWAT Kats," Hunter said as he put his wetsuit and scuba gear on and helped Colleen with her gear.
Soon, everyone is in their gear and entered the water. They inflated their BCs and dove to the USS Arizona. They dove through the rooms of the sunken ship into the barracks. Jake noticed a chest that belonged to his mother's father, Seaman Apprentice Benjamin Davenport. "Grandpa," Jake sighed as Callie put a hand on her husband.
When suddenly, the puzzle box in Tommy's possession starts to glow as they were transported back to the day of the Attack on Pearl Harbor.
December 7, 1941 - Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
A young tabby who is a US Navy Corpsman, named Dr. Benjamin Davenport, came into the med bay as he was an assigned corpsman to the USS Arizona. He often thought about his family especially his own daughter and wife who recently gave birth to his son. Likewise, a US Marine Corps sniper, named Peter Parker, he woke up to the sound of the radio playing old Jazz music.
"Another day in paradise," Peter sighed as he changed into his service uniform. He left the barracks and walked to the med bay to meet up with Ben. "Good morning, Ben," Peter said as he smiled to his fellow serviceman.
"Good morning, Peter," Ben said.
"I heard from Audrey that you have a son now."
"Yeah, I feel so happy to hear that we have a son and Cathy has a younger brother."
"When Christmas comes, we need to bring the family together and have a fun time at the beach."
"Right back at you, Marine. I'll be right back. I have to go get something from my trunk," Ben said as he left. He arrived at the barracks to retrieve what appears to be a key for the portals of where the ghosts came from.
When suddenly, explosions appeared as people started yelling and alarms blaring. "Oh my God!" Ben gasped.
"What's happening?" One sailor asked.
"Is this a fire drill?" Another sailor asked.
"Move it you maggots... move it!! Topside! Let's go! On the double! Hurry up!" A Marine ordered as everyone started to evacuate the ship.
Peter ran through the corridors of the ship trying to find survivors. "Ben? Ben!" Peter called.
"I can't breathe in this thing," one sailor said as he struggled to be breathe.
"General Quarters, General Quarters, man your battle stations; this is not a drill, all hands to General Quarters," the PA system announced.
"It's only dust. Peter Parker. Follow me Marine! We need to get topside right now!" Benjamin said as he led him out.
"They're all over the place! THEY'RE ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!" One sailor said.
As Peter and Ben ran through the rooms of the ship and various explosions erupted, Peter stopped at a hole as Ben was on the other side. "Come on Peter, jump over! Watch out! Get the hell out!" Ben called as Peter jumped over. "Crouch under, let's get out of here."
"Oh, damn! The hatch!" A sailor said as he pushed at the hatch door to seal off fire. "I GOT IT! You boys get topside and give 'em hell!"
Peter went up the stairs to follow Ben. "Over here! I found the exit!" Ben called. An explosion erupted and fire blocked the exit. Peter and Ben grabbed two fire extinguishers and put out the flames. "Good job Parker, let's get going!"
"For God's sakes! Help!" A sailor called.
"In here! We're trapped!" Another called. Peter quickly put out the flames as the sailor went to one of the injured sailors. "He's still alive. I'll take care of him."
"I need a fire extinguisher!!!!" Another sailor called. Peter left to the kitchen to put out to fire to see a sailor cook. "Gimme that thing!" The cook grabbed the extinguisher from Peter's hand and put out the fire.
Peter rushed through the mess hall as he saw a phone sitting on a table. "Save us! Use the phone! Call headquarters!" The cook called as Peter called for help.
Peter found the stairway as he asked a Marine. "Where's Ben?" He asked.
"I don't know. He said he was going to retrieve more wound off the Arizona," the Marine said as he and Peter went up the stairs as a sailor was shot down the stairs. "Ugh. The sky's full of 'em! Get up on deck and..."
What happened next seemed like everything was going in slow motion. The sight of Pearl Harbor was beyond imagination with the sound of gunfire, explosions, Imperial Japanese planes opening fire at the USS Arizona, the USS Missouri and the Navy base and men yelling and fighting at the enemy. "Time to earn your pay, Marine! NOW SNAP OUT OF IT!" Peter's superior ordered as he handed him a sniper rifle.
Peter opened fire at Japanese planes with his rifle and walked towards an anti aircraft gun and opened fire at Japanese airplanes and torpedos that were fired upon the USS Arizona. "Pick a target! Lead 'em and hose 'em!" Peter's superior ordered.
"Help me take 'em out!" Peter called as he continued firing at the enemy planes.
"Damn! We're at war now!" One sailor said as he fired his gun at the enemy.
"Enemy torpedoes approaching! Take them out men!" Peter called as he and other sailors and Marines fired at the enemy.
Peter fell overboard when a torpedo exploded on his ship and swam to the surface. Other sailors and Marines swam to the surface, but some of them were killed by gunfire. Peter reached to the surface as he was pulled out of the water and mounted in a turret on a warship.
"Gunny, planes inbound!" Peter called.
"Get in that turret now! Move it Marine!" Peter opened fire at enemy planes as the battle intensified at Pearl Harbor.
"All stations... I need a damage report!"
"Spinelli here. Radios are up. Gunny, the engines will be up in a second."
"Gennies are good, engines are good."
"All right, let's see what this old gal can do! We gotta protect those BattleWagons!" The warship Peter was on went in with guns blasting from both the Imperial Japanese planes and American Navy ships and planes.
"Dammit Oklahoma's goin' belly-up...!"
"Clear off!"
"Hang on tight, we're going to starboard!"
The warship sailed past a sinking ship as they almost sunk. "Woah!" Peter yelled.
"Watch that superstructure!"
"Lord have mercy." The warship went between two US ships as Peter opens fire with the enemy. "We're surrounded by KATES. Watch the tail gunners. Stay on your target, Marine!"
Peter continued to fire at the enemy as the warship sailed through the harbor. "WATCH IT!"
"Hang on tight, we're going to port!"
"Aye, aye Gunny."
The warship turned as Peter gunned down more enemy planes as explosions exploded on US Navy ships. "That was close!" Peter said.
"Let's go! We've got to get under way before one of those bombs hit us."
"Zekes! Inbound fighters, look alive - they're quick."
"She can't take much more!"
"Zekes! Inbound! Fast and low."
"To the left!" As Peter fired at the enemy. An explosion erupted underwater as the warship passed by.
"Ah nuts, they hit the radio."
"Ahhh, she's damaged."
"Pressure in the turrets is dropping."
"Alright Parker, hold on. We're losing turret pressure."
"Alright boys... let's get her up and running again."
"The radio's gone haywire," one sailor named Spinelli said as the radio was filled with Japanese and English.
"Spinelli, fix that thing."
Spinelli fixed the radio as three torpedoes underwater struck the USS Arizona. "Holy," Peter gasped.
"Oh, my God, we've lost the Arizona!"
"God help 'em."
"This can't be happening."
The sight of the Arizona was such a frightening and awful to see the ship destroyed and sinking into the harbor with other sailors and Marines trapped in there.
On the other side of the USS Arizona, Ben was trying to get the wounded out of the ship as water was seeking into the ship quickly. "Please! Get us out of here!" One sailor called.
"We don't want to die!" Another sailor called.
"Just hang on! Get me welders and power tools!" A navy mechanic called as he and other mechanics and welders desperately tried to free the trapped sailors and Ben.
"Audrey, Catherine, and Danny, I love you all," Ben said as he was praying.
"Just hang on! We're gonna get you out!" One sailor said as he held onto one of the men's hand.
Despite all the military personnel's efforts, many of the personnel lost their lives when the ship sank including Benjamin Davenport.
"This the NEVADA calling any ships available. We are attempting to sortie seaward. We need an escort. I say again, we need an escort," one sailor said on the radio.
"That's US!" Gunny Sergeant Oliver Cutler said.
"All stations stand by... come'n up to flank speed. Let's get back in the game!"
"Hold on." Peter opened fire at the Japanese bombers and fighter jets as the warship went on its way to escort the USS Nevada. "Brace yourselves!"
"They got Vals bearing down on them! Parker, bring those dive bombers down! We need to help the NEVADA!" Peter continued to shoot at the enemy bombers and planes that were raining down bullets and bombs.
"They're coming at us from everywhere! This isn't looking good..." Freddy Spinelli said.
"We're taking too much damage, we need you to cover our departure!" A sailor on the Nevada said.
"Enemy plane 6 O'clock! Parker! Keep your eyes peeled! Take 'em down, dammit!" Peter continued to shoot at the enemy until they flew out to sea.
"NEVADA to Peter two zero, we've been ordered to beach so we don't block the harbor exit to sea. Thank you for the escort, over."
"They're turning tail now!" Peter cheered as Freddy and everyone cheered.
"I bet they won't be back any time soon," Freddy said.
"You got that right."
"That was easier..."
"Knock it off!" Oliver said. "Now you listen up Marines. You take a good long look, I hope none of you ever see a day like this again!"
Oliver pointed out to the aftermath battle of Pearl Harbor to see fire on ships and the USS Missouri and the USS Arizona sunk. "Y'know, nobody will ever know what it was like, but maybe the ones who live through it... You just be damned sure you don't forget the ones who didn't."
"Never," Freddy said.
"Especially my friend, Benjamin Davenport," Peter sighed sadly as he held a photo of him and Ben.
Present day.
The SWAT Kats and Road Rovers were stunned to see the whole scene unfold at Pearl Harbor. "Grandpa, this is where you died," Razor said as he chocked on his tears.
When suddenly, the puzzle box on Tommy started to glow when he saw ghosts of the drowned sailors and Marines coming at them. "Watch out, guys! Here they come!" Tommy called as he and the others fought them.
"You can't harm or kill us," one ghost said. "We're already dead." Colleen tried to fight the ghost, but it didn't faze him.
Wally, Joey and Harvey heard what was going on the comm link they are connected to the SWAT Kats and Road Rovers. "Tommy, Hector, come in! What the hell's going on there?" Wally asked.
With a determined look, Wally got on his scuba gear to enter the water. "No, Wally! You don't know what's down there and you could get lost in the Arizona and drown!" Joey pleaded.
"I don't care. Those are my friends down there!" Wally said as he entered the water and made his way to the Arizona.
The ghosts surrounded the Road Rovers and the SWAT Kats as they had them at their mercy. "Such a shame that neither of you will live to tell the story," one of the ghosts said as he and the others prepared to drown them.
Suddenly, Wally came in and fired one proton stream at one of the ghosts and the ghost disappeared. "Stay away from my friends!" Wally called.
"Wally!" Hector called.
"Hey, guys. Happy to see me?" Wally asked.
"Now more than ever," Tommy said. The puzzle box lit up in Tommy's pocket as it was close to one of the keys to Benjamin's footlocker. "It's pointing to Benjamin's footlocker. That must be where one of the portals are."
"Maybe that's the answer to the riddle," Chance thought.
"What are you saying, fuzz ball?" Blitz asked.
"Remember how the trapped sailors and Marines were desperate to get out of the sunken Arizona?" Hunter asked.
"Yeah?" Jake asked.
"Well, if we open the portal for the ghosts to leave the Arizona, they will finally find peace and pass on to the afterlife," Callie said.
"Then, let's get to it," Exile said.
A large fight continued between the ghosts and the heroes as Tommy opened Benjamin's footlocker and found one of the keys to the portal. "Please, let this work and may these poor souls find peace," Tommy said as he pulled out the box and it fit into the slot and opened a portal.
The portal opened up with such force that all the ghosts finally left the Arizona and they felt at peace. But not without some words from Benjamin's ghost. "Thank you, SWAT Kats and Road Rovers, especially Jake Clawson," Benjamin said.
"May you and those who lost their lives at Pearl Harbor be at peace, grandpa," Jake said.
"I love you, Jake," Benjamin said as he left the Arizona and the portal closed.
"I love you too, grandpa," Jake said.
"Hey, we got to go!" Wally said.
"Keep your shirt on, we're coming,"Tommy said as he retrieved the puzzle box and they made their way to the surface.
Joey, Harvey and everyone held their breath fearing what happened to the heroes. Then, they made it to the surface as everyone cheered. The SWAT Kats, Road Rovers and Wally exited the water as Harvey pulled on a rope to bring them up.
"Wally, you are one of the craziest guys I ever met, but you overcame your fear with ghosts," the old goat said as he laid a hand on Wally's shoulder.
"Hey, I recognize that face," Hector said as the old goat looked familiar. "Are you Freddy Spinelli?"
Freddy looked at Hector and said, "Yes, how do you know?"
"Call us crazy, but we have encountered Pearl Harbor when we were underwater inside the Arizona prior to fighting the ghosts," Tommy said.
"Did you bring those trapped souls peace?" Freddy asked.
"We have," Colleen said.
"You were Peter Parker's friend and fellow sailor," Jake said.
"As a matter of fact, I was. Peter and I were devastated to hear the news that Benjamin was still in the Arizona when it blew up and sunk. Especially his widow and daughter."
Later, Jake and the others gathered at the USS Arizona and US Missouri memorial to lay down a wreath in honor of the fallen. "We hereby honor the fallen with this peace and offer a blessing for them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Spirit," Tommy said.
"Amen," everyone said.
Jake walked up to the memorial to see his maternal grandfather's name and felt sentimental. "Are you okay Jake?" Callie asked.
"Yeah, it just felt hard to see my grandfather die in the Arizona along with other young men on what President Roosevelt said was a day of infamy," Jake sighed.
"Hey, man. Come on! Let's go hit the beach and have fun," Tommy said.
"We will. Just give us a moment," Jake said. "I love you, grandpa. And I'm sure gonna miss you."

Everyone was having a fun time at the beach as Tommy and Hector were surfing on the waves while Harvey, Natasha and Luke were sand surfing and Wally and Joey and Miguel were making sand castles. Hunter and Colleen were taking a sunbath along with Jake and Callie. While Exile, Blitz and Chance were admiring the hula dancers and fire dancers that putting on a good show.
"I must say, everyone deserves a taste of paradise, Colleen," Hunter said as he held her hand.
"You said it, Hunter," Colleen said.
What they didn't know is that Dark Hare was watching them from a distance as he tried to observe his targets. "It would seem I have to study them, up close and personal," Dark Hare said as he had a smirk under his mask.
