Not the Warmest of Welcomes
The landscape was cold, with hints of snow along the dirt and trees that surrounded the area. The forest was silent, with only sounds of distant bird calls being heard every once in a while. The silence was soon broken when three men, wearing armor underneath some fur coats, riding on horseback trotted through the forest and kept their weary eye out. They look almost akin to medieval knights that one would read about in fairytale books, or in a renaissance fair.
"Perhaps we should head back to Winterfell." One of the knights suggested. "I don't think there's anything else out here."
"Earlier today another scouting party captured a deserter from the Wall." One other knight informed. "We have to make sure that no other deserters were with him and separated."
"I'm sure Lord Stark has dispensed the king's justice already." The third one stated. The three of them continued trotting through the woods, but then paused when their horses began to become restless, and started neighing in alarm. "Easy, girl, easy."
"Something has them on alert." The first knight said as he gripped his sword while trying to gain control of his horse.
Just then, the wind began to pick up and forced them to cover their eyes. Eventually, a flash of light appeared deeper in the forest, causing them to widen their eyes in shock. When the light died down, so did the wind, and the horses eventually calmed down.
"What in seven hells was that?" One of the knights exclaimed in shock.
"I'm unsure." The other knight said as he narrowed his eyes in the direction where the light came from. "Let us see what that was."
"Are you sure?" The third knight said with slight nervousness. "That light could be a bad omen from the Old Gods."
"We won't know until we see for ourselves." The other knight said as he moved his horse along in the directions where the light came from. "Besides, Lord Stark would want to know about this." The other two knights looked at each other with uncertainty, before giving a nod and following after him.

David groaned in discomfort as he finally started to come to. He slowly opened his eyes as he sat up and shook his head to get the cobwebs out, before he looked around in shock. He found himself in a forest with snow everywhere, and the temperature was pretty cold that he ended up shivering a bit.
"What the hell is going on?" David said to himself as he stood up and inspected his surroundings. "Am I back on Earth? Maybe I'm in Canada or something?"
He was confused by all of this, but then he remembered his friends, the Kree, and the crazy battle that they were taking a part of.
He quickly pulled out his comm device and placed it on his ear. "Guys, are you there?" He called out, but he only received static on the other end. "Iva, Freya, are you there? Nate, Hector, Yondu, please come in! Come on, Groot, even you could at least answer!"
Again, all he received was just static.
"Great. Just great." David said as he was about to use his rockets to fly up to higher ground, but decided to just save his fuel and walk. He trekked through the forest and looked around, but there was just nothing but snow and forest. "Looks like Earth, but I would have been able to get a clear signal if it was."
As he walked through the forest, he paused when he came across a ravine, before he knelt down and ran his hands through the water, before wiping it over his face. The water was super cold due to the weather of this place, but it helped soothed his adrenaline and calmed his nerves. He took a sigh and jumped over the ravine before he continued making his way through the woods.
"Okay, so let's try and assess the situation, as Iva would say." David mumbled to himself. "I'm stranded who knows where, one a planet who knows where, and my friends are, once again, who knows where." He couldn't help but give a sarcastic laugh. "Oh boy, if Uncle Rocket saw this, he'd probably say it's just another day in the life."
He paused in his stride when he heard some rustling in the foliage around him, which immediately put him on edge as his hand shoved over his Quad Blasters. He got jigs answer to what it was when a large bear stepped out of the foliage and stared down at him.
"A bear?" David said in surprise, but then he gained a relived smile. "So, I am on Earth. Don't know why I didn't get a signal, but at least I still have something to work with." The bear ignored him s it stood on its hind legs and gave a loud roar, but David wasn't the least bit intimidated. "Yeah, yeah, yeah; beat it, Yogi." David shot out a single blast from one of his Quad Blasters, impacting the ground near the bear. This was enough to get the animal scared as it ran away. "Yeah, that's right! Go steal a picnic basket somewhere else!"
David was about to continue on, but paused when he heard something approaching him from behind. He groaned in annoyance, as he thought it was another wild animal, but when he turned around, his eyes widened in shock by what he saw. Approaching him on horseback were three men in armor and fur coats around them, with swords strapped to their hips. They stopped their horses and looked at David strangely, with David doing the same.
"Okay, this is bizarre." David whispered to himself as he remained where he stood.
"You there, state your name and business in these parts." The lead knight demanded at David.
"I'm sorry...what?" David said in confusion.
"Are you hard of hearing? He asked you a question." One of the other knights said with a glare.
"Yeah, yeah, I heard he asked me a question, but, um...what's with the costumes guys?" David asked in confusion.
"Costumes?" The third knight said in agitation. "You dare insult soldiers under the command of Lord Stark?"
"Stark?" David asked in more confusion. "You mean Morgan Stark? Is she here, cause, let me tell you, I could really use her help right about now."
"Morgan Stark? Are you daft or drunk?" The lead knight said in bafflement. "There is no one in House Stark named Morgan. This land is under the command and rule of Eddard Stark, Warden of the North, and Lord of Winterfell."
David stared at all three of them with a dumbfounded expression as he tried processing all that they were saying. "Okay, so is this like a Renaissance Fair thing you got going on? LARPing, maybe? Cause, let me tell you, I have no idea what's happening right now?"
"I'll ask again, what is your name?!" The lead knight demanded again much more forcefully.
"My name's David, okay. It's David Quill." David answered quickly.
One of the knights leaned in close to the leader of this squad. "He could be another deserter from the Wall trying to trick us to avoid execution." He said.
"We'll know for sure." He said as he turned to the third knight. "Tie him up and bind him. We'll take him back to Winterfell for imprisonment and interrogation."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Interrogation?!" David exclaimed in shock as he watched the third knight got off his horse with a rope in hand. "Come on, man, I haven't done anything! At least, not this time!"
"If you resist, we will be forced to take you in with harsher methods." The lead knight said as he and the other knight drew their swords.
Okay, Okay, no problem. No problem at all." David said quickly as the third knights walked up and was about to tie his hands, but David stepped back and raised his hands. "Hey, wait a minute, there's another name you might know me by."
The three knights just looked at each other in confusion as David gave them a little smirk. He paused for dramatic effect, just like how his dad taught him, before he finally spoke up.
"Star-Lord."
The three knights looked at him in confusion, occasionally taking a few glances at one another, but all they got were just a couple of shrugs.
"Who?" The lead knight said in confusion.
This immediately caused David to lose his smirk and looked at them in disbelief. "I'm Star-Lord, man. Come on, legendary hero of the universe? Son of Peter Quill, the original Star-Lord? Come on, guys, my dad went through this, and I don't want to go through that!"
"Enough of this!" The third knight angrily shouted as he approached David and was about to tie him up.
"You know what, just forget it." David grumbled as he pulled out one of his Quad Blasters and set it to stun. He pointed it at the knight approaching him and fired a blast, sending him flying back a few feet.
"Seven Hells!" The lead knight exclaimed in shock as he and his fellow knight stared wide-eyed at what just happened.
"See ya!" David exclaimed as he activated the rockets on his boots and took off into the air and landed on a tree branch. He used his rockets to launch himself forward and land on another tree branch a distance away, and just repeated the process.
"By the Old Gods!" The other knight exclaimed in disbelief. "He can fly?! How can a man fly?!"
"After him!" The lead knight exclaimed as he and his two comrades, with the third one getting back on his horse, raced across the forest and flew after him.
David looked back as he continued to rocket jump from one tree to the other. He didn't just straight up fly through the forest as he wanted to conserve as much power as he could. He saw that they were racing off towards him and he tried to get as much distance as he could.
Thinking quickly, he pulled out a cylinder-like object from his jacket and dropped it onto the ground. The moment it impacted the ground, a bright flash of light ignited, causing the knight's horses to stumble back in dismay, and the knights themselves to cover their eyes in shock.
"Haha! Boom, assholes!" David cheered as he looked back in satisfaction.
However, he failed to watched where he rocket jumped next, as when he finally looked forward, he noticed that heading straight for his face was a thick branch. Time seemed to move slow as he watched the branch head straight to his face. There was no time to move out of the way, or even activate his helmet.
The only thing he could do was just say two words.
"Oh, shit." David said.
The impact was hard as the branch hit him square in the face, and it completely through off his trajectory. He spun around in the air and collided with a couple trees, before he slammed down into the ground, kicking up some dust along the way.
"Okay...that hurt." David groaned out as he felt his face from how sore it was, as well as his sides and back. "Where's a medpack when you need it?" The situation became worse when the three knights quickly trotted over to where he had crashed and instantly got off their horses.
"Quickly! Tie him up so he doesn't escape!" The lead knight exclaimed with urgency as the other two quickly ran over and started tying up and binding David's wrists and ankles together.
"Oh, great. Yeah, this is embarrassing." David said with a groan as he was quickly tied up, was forcibly stood up, and held tightly. "Good thing Aunt Nebula isn't here to see this. She'd never let me live this down."
The lead knight stepped forward and stared hard at the young man. "How did you do that?" He demanded to know. "What you just did, was it magic of some kind? How were you able to do that?!"
David cringed a bit as the guy yelled close to his face. "Maybe brush your teeth and ask nicely first, and then I'll consider answering. Oh, and maybe a ham sandwich, while you're at it, with an Ibuprofen on the side." The lead knight just growled in frustration, before punching David in the face, knocking him out.

Winterfell
The party led by Ned Stark eventually returned back to Winterfell, after he performed his duties in executing a deserter from the Wall. He got off his horse and watched as his sons and his men disembarked from their horses as well, smiling when he saw his young son Bran holding onto and smiling at his new Direwolf pup.
Ned then frowned when he thought about this little excursion, as it was filled with too many omens in his mind. He paid no heed to the deserter, as his mumbling of seeing White Walkers may have been due to madness, or desperation to avoid death. The White Walkers are gone, and that's the end of that.
The pups though, made him feel a bit uneasy. A dead Direwolf killed by a stag who left behind a litter, one for each of his children. Something about that just doesn't sit right with him, but he couldn't dwell on that now.
"Bran." Ned called out to his young son, who walked on over to him, before he handed him the sack that held three more Direwolf pups. "Take these to your brother Rickon and your sisters. Tell them exactly what I told you. They will care for them on their own, they will feed them on their own, and when they die they will bury them on their own."
"Yes, father." Bran said as he took the sack and made his way inside to look for his brother and sisters.
With that taken care of, Ned turned to Jon, who also was tending to his new Direwolf pup. "Jon, take the horses to the stables." Ned said as he passed the reigns to his bastard son.
"Yes, father." Jon said with nod.
"I'll help you, Jon." Rob said as he took some horse reigns himself and walked with his brother. "When we're done we can get back to sword training. We gotta keep our skills sharp." Jon smiled at his brother and gave a nod in appreciation.
Ned watched and smiled as he was glad Rob got along with his brother. He was about to head inside and see his wife, Cat, who was no doubt still angry that he brought Bran to witness an execution, but paused when he saw one of his guards walking up to him with a serious expression.
"Lord Stark." The knight said urgently. "One of our scouting parties made a discovery while on patrol."
"What is it?" Ned asked with his expression turning serious.
"Not a 'what,' my Lord, but a 'who.'" The guard said, earning a raised eyebrow from the Lord of Winterfell.
/
"Wow, nice setup you guys got here." David joked as he was dragged into the halls of Winterfell's dungeon, before being brought into a room with a large table in it. "Very rustic in a medieval torture chamber sort of way."
"This isn't torture." One of the guards dragging him said. "Be thankful that it isn't."
"Look, I've been in so many situations like this, and I've always escaped each time. So, why don't you all do me a solid and just let me go before you embarrass yourselves?"
"Be quiet!" One of the guards exclaimed as he and directed two more guards to him. "Search him for weapons." The two guards nodded and started searching David and taking some of his gadgets and equipment.
"Oh, come on! Take it easy on those things, okay?" David said as he was restrained while they took away his equipment, which included his rocket boosters and his Quad Blasters, much to his ire. "Oh, come on, that was a gift from my dad!" One guard took another device that was connected to a set of headphones, before he accidentally pressed a button on the device, and it started to play music form the headphones.
"When you hold me, in your arms so tight (Ooga-Chaka, Ooga-Ooga.)"
"You let me know, everything's alright (Ooga-Chaka, Ooga-Ooga.)"
"What in the world?" The guard said to himself as he pulled up the headphones close to his ears and listened to what sounding like chanting and...was that music?
"Hey!" David exclaimed as he started pull away from being restrained. "Hey, you put that back! Alright, that upgraded Xune model my uncle gave me is mine, you son of a bitch!" The guard yelled and hit David in the stomach with the blunt end of his sword, forcing him on his knees. "Hooked on a Feeling, Blue Swede, 1973, that song was my dad's, and now it's mine!" The guard just hit him again, causing David to resist even further, forcing the other guards to get involved and restrain him further.
I'm~ hooked on a feelin'
I'm high on believin'
That you're in love with me!
David was taken to another room after they took all his gadgets, before being tossed a couple ragged clothes they told him to put on while he was told to remove his current clothes. He was about to charge in for another fight, but one of the guards drew his sword, forcing him to stop. David gave one final glare at them, before he stripped and put on the rags they gave him.
I said I'm hooked on a feelin'
And I'm high on believin'
That you're in love with me
Hooked on a feelin'
David was then taken to a cell and was thrown in, before the guards left after locking up the cell door. David groaned in frustration as he noticed a bar window and peaked through it. He could see various men in armor and women and children in what he could only describe as medieval clothes walking around and doing their duties.
"I'm in a Renaissance Fair from hell." David said with a sigh as he sat down on the rough floor of the cell and decided to relax, before he thought up a plan to escape this prison.
His mind raced with the thoughts of his team next, and he was starting to get really worried for them. He could only hope that their situations were a lot better than his own right now.
"Guys, I hope you're doing okay." David whispered to himself.
/
"Are you certain of this?" Ned said as he gave the guard a very stern look.
He stood within the great hall of Winterfell, along with his wife, Catelyn, and his master-at-arms Rodrik Cassel, plus Maester Luwin. The three of them had just heard the report of how they had captured a prisoner who seems to have done magic, much to their surprise.
"I am, my lord." The guard said as he recalled the everything he saw. "I saw it with my own eyes. This man seemed to have been able to fly, and he shot magic out of a trinket I have never seen before. We believed that he was another deserter from the Wall, but I have reasons to doubt."
"Surely, there must be some logical explanation for what you have seen." Cat said with a shake of her head. "Magic of any form has not been seen in these lands for many generations. Not since when the Wall was first built, and then when the last of the dragons have died out."
"I wish I could give you a proper explanation, my Lady, but I saw something I cannot understand myself." The guard said, before another guard came in and presented one of David's Quad Balsters. "This is what he used to shoot magic out of."
Rodrik took the blaster and inspected it for a brief moment, looking at it from all sides, and grasped what he believed to be the handle. "How does one use magic with such a tiny trinket?" Rodrik question, before he accidentally shot out an energy blast from it, hitting the wall.
Everyone in the room looked on in shock, as they saw the scorch mark left behind where the shot hit. Ned approached the scorch mark and slowly traced his hand along it slowly, mesmerized by what he just witnessed.
"How is that possible." Maester Luwin said in disbelief. "Never in all my years as a Maester have I ever seen anything like that."
Ned stared hard at the scorch mark, before he took the blaster out of Rodrik's hands and held it more delicately. He looked at the guard, who still had a stunned look on his face. "This man, he is locked up in our dungeons as we speak?" Ned asked as he looked at the guard.
"Yes, my lord." The guard said with a nod.
"Bring him to me. I wish to question him personally." Ned ordered, earning a nod from the guard as he left to complete his task.
"I do not like this, Ned." Cat said with caution. "A man seemingly appearing out of nowhere and performing magic? Such a sign has once been viewed as a bad omen for things yet to come. We do not know if this man is friend or foe."
"There have been some whispers among our traders that some people have been tampering with mysterious forces." Rodrik Cassel noted. "Whether this man is connected to them, we do not know."
"I assume you have been hearing whispers of a rising religion that follow a being called the Lord of Light?" Maester Luwin asked curiously. "There are many religions that follow many deities, but I have not heard of any with living proof of mystical forces."
"And yet we have a man locked up that supposedly can do things no other man can." Cat said.
"Unfortunately, for the time being, we are blind to this situation." Ned said all of them. "We do not know who he is, or why he is here, so we must find out everything we can about him. We must determine whether he is a threat to the North, or not."
Meanwhile...
David just sat down with his back pressed up against the wall of his cell, humming a tune in his head as his mind raced around on how to get out of here.
"Well, I guess I can wait to get a metal spoon and chisel my way out. Uncle Rocket always did say to find a prison's weak point, measure the rounds of each guards, and take someone's prosthetic limb for good measure." David said to himself, before giving a light chuckle. "Of course, dad always said that part was a load of bull."
"I am Groot?"
"No, Groot, I don't think anybody here actually has a prosthetic limb, but-" David paused as his eyes widened in shock, before looking at the cell door and saw little Groot hanging outside the small barred opening on the door and looking at him. He hastily got up and had an elated smile on his face. "Groot! Little buddy, you're alright!"
"I am Groot!" Groot exclaimed with a wide smile as he jumped through the bars and into David's arms, where the human hugged the tiny Floral Colossus.
"I'm so glad to see you." David said with relief as he held Groot in his hands. "Where are the others? Are they here with you?"
Groot looked down sadly as he shook his head. "I am Groot."
David sighed, but still gave a little hopeful smile. "Hey, it's alright. We've been in tough situations before and we've always come out on top. Right now, let's focus on getting me out of here." David then gave a determined look as he looked at the door. "If we can just get the key, we can get me out of here."
"I am Groot." Groot said with a smile.
"You sure you can get it, buddy?" David asked cautiously, earning a nod from the small plant alien. "Well, alright then. Go get the key and get me out of here." Groot nodded as he exited through the small door opening and left to complete his task.
Little Groot did his best to sneak through the halls of Winterfell, though thanks to his small form he was able to move around pretty quietly, hugging the walls whenever someone passed by and remained perfectly still. He continued trekking through the hallways until he spotted a door at the far end of the hall. He carefully and slowly opened the door to get inside and instantly smiled by what he saw.
A few moments later, David looked down at Groot when he returned and gave a deadpanned expression when he saw Groot did not have the key, but rather a fork.
"Groot, that is not the key, that is a fork." David said with a sigh. "A key is a small trinket that goes inside the hole in the door to unlock it." Groot nodded at that and left.
A few moments later...
"That is not the key either!" David was starting to get a little ticked off as Groot now stood on front of him, but this time was holding a struggling rat in his wooden vines. "That's a rat, not a trinket!" David said, before he took a deep sigh to calm his nerves. "Okay, Uncle Rocket said that he went through this shit with the other Groot when he was a baby. Maybe I need to try a different approach."
David knelt down and had Groot release the rat, before giving him a gentle look. "Okay, Groot, forget about the key. I don't need it, actually. Instead, I want you to get me a...a comb! Yeah, I need a comb! Think you can do that for me, buddy?"
"I am Groot." Groot said as he gave a thumbs up and exited through the cell door again.
"That should work this time." David said with a satisfied smile. "Doesn't get what you want, then say the complete opposite."
A few more moments later...
Groot came back and held up something in his hands, something that caused David to nearly lose his mind.
"You mean to tell me...that you brought me, of all things...an ACTUAL COMB!" David exclaimed as he started pulling on his hair.
"I am Groot." Groot said with a nod and smile as he held up a comb in his hands.
"I just...what are you...ugh!" David exclaimed as he started banging his head on the door. "How did my dad get through this?"
"I am Groot." Groot said.
"Yeah, I am upset cause I'm trapped here in this cell with no way to get out!" David exclaimed, before he heard footsteps starting to approach the cell door. He quickly picked up Groot and held him behind his back. "Stay quiet, Groot."
The cell door soon opened and the same guard from before came back in and glared at David. "Lord Stark wishes to see you. Get moving."
"Yeah, sure, but don't you think I should look presentable, first?" David said as he gestured to the rags he was wearing. "These aren't exactly Armani, if you know what I'm saying." The guard just glared at him as he brought out a spear and pointed it at him. "I'm guessing you don't."
"Get moving!" the guard exclaimed as he pointed his spear closer at him.
Suddenly, a figure dropped down from the ceiling outside of the cell door, directly behind the guard. The guard looked back, and was instantly punched in the face, sending him crashing into the wall. David and Groot, who peaked right over David's shoulder, looked on in shock as they saw who the figure was. Noh-Varr, the young Kree officer!
"Oh, Star-Lord, sir!" Noh-Varr exclaimed in relief. "Thank the galaxy you're alive!"
"Noh-Varr?" David questioned in shock. "You're here to?
"Yeah, I got transported to this planet, and I'm so glad you and Groot did to!" Noh-Varr said with an elated smile. "Now we can think of a plan to get out of here together."
"But I don't get it. How did you find us?" David asked.
"When I got transported, I was sent to this forest all alone. I looked around for signs of any of the other Guardians, but I couldn't find them. It wasn't until I heard a commotion and saw you getting captured that I discovered that I wasn't the only one sent here." Noh-Varr explained. "I snuck into this compound and searched everywhere for you, until I overheard some guards talking about a strange prisoner they captured."
"Well, glad you're here too, kid." David said as he gave the Kree a pat on the shoulder. "But, wait, how did you sneak around so easily without being seen?"
Noh-Varr smiled, before he held up his hands that had a blue energy glow around them, while also gesturing to his boots that had the exact same energy field around them. "Adhesive Energy Field." Noh-Varr answered as he pressed a button on his gauntlet, making the energy disappear. "It's perfect for scaling any solid surface."
"So, you can basically stick to the walls and crawl around them?" David asked with a raised eyebrow?
"Yeah, pretty much." Noh-Varr said with a nod.
David gave a deadpanned look at the young Kree for a few seconds, before finally speaking. "You know, I know a hero back on Earth that would probably sue you for super power copyright."
"Never mind that, now." Noh-Varr said as he remembered the urgent situation they were in. "Right now, we have to get out of here."
"Right, but we have to get the rest of my stuff, first." David said as the three of them exited out of the cell.
"Sir, where exactly are we?" Noh-Varr asked in confusion. "I've read reports about Earth and have heard the stories, but this place doesn't look anything like what I've heard."
"This isn't Earth, at least, not the version of Earth I'm used to." David said as they continued to trek through the halls, but stopped when they heard someone speaking around a corner. "Get back. Get back." David pressed his back to the wall and pushed Noh-Varr back, while also placing Groot on his shoulder.
"I'm not making this up!" The voice said as the two of them looked around the corner and saw two guards standing in a storage room and looked over David's Xune. "I'm telling you, this trinket makes music and I could swear I heard singing."
"That's impossible." The second guard said dismissively.
"Just listen." The first guard said as he started hitting random buttons and smacking the device. "How did I do it last time?"
"Oh, they better not break my Xune." David whispered angrily as he turned the corner and charged right at the unsuspecting duo.
When the two guards heard someone approaching from behind, one of them looked back and saw David behind him, before he slugged him right in the face, sending him to the ground. The second guard was about to draw his sword, but then Groot jumped out of David's pocket and latched onto the guard's face.
"I am Groot!" The little Flora Colossus screamed out, causing the guard to scream with fright at never seeing anything like him before. Groot jumped off his face and used his vines to tie up his legs, before tripping him up and causing him to fall and crash into some wooden boxes, knocking him out.
The last guard that David was dealing with barely managed to get up, before David kneed him in the face, knocking him out. David smirked triumphantly as he picked up his Xune. "Back where you belong, beautiful." David said, before he saw the rest of his stuff all piled together in one of the boxes. After about a minute, he was finally back in his signature outfits, though there was one key piece missing. "Great, now I'm missing one of my Quad Blasters."
"You can just get a new one, right?" Noh-Varr asked as he peaked out one of the doors to make sure the coast was clear.
"You don't understand. These blasters were a gift from my dad, which was a gift from his adopted dad, Yondu." David explained sternly. "They're irreplaceable."
"Okay, fine." Noh-Varr said as he made his way to another door. "We'll get your Quad Blaster, then find the others, and then try to get off this rock." The moment Noh-Varr opened the second door to see if the coast was clear, he found several Winterfell guards marching towards the storage room, but paused when they saw him. "Oh, shit."
"Get them!" One of the guards exclaimed as they all charged towards the door.
(Que "One Way or Another" by Blondie)
David quickly shut the door and barricaded it, before looking back at Noh-Varr. "Time to go." David said quickly as they both ran out the other door.
One way, or another, I'm gonna find ya
I'm gonna get ya, get ya, get ya, get ya
One way, or another, I'm gonna win ya
I'm gonna get ya, get ya, get ya, get ya
One way, or another, I'm gonna see ya
I'm gonna meet ya, meet ya, meet ya, meet ya
One day, maybe next week
I'm gonna meet ya, I'm gonna meet ya, I'll meet ya
David and Noh-Varr ran down the hall as they heard the soldiers banging on the barricaded door, before they busted it down and continued chasing after them. Noh-Varr looked back and noticed the guards after them, so he tossed a device on the wall and created a force field that blocked them. They turned a corner and tried finding a way to escape, but a split in the halls cause the two of them to run in opposite directions.
I will drive past your house
And if the lights are all down
I'll see who's around
David ran down the hall he went through, but two guards got in his way and drew their swords. David drew his lone Quad Blaster and shot a stun shot, knocking one of them out. The second guard swung his sword, but David blocked it before kicking him back and backhanding him with his gun. To make sure he stayed unconscious, he fired a stun shoot when he hit the ground. He looked back and noticed a few more guards running up behind him.
Noh-Varr screamed as a whole bunch of guards chased after him from behind, before he closed a door behind him, barricaded it, and even placed a force filed device around the door for extra protection.
He breathed a sigh of relief as he turned, but gasped when four guards stood in front of him with swords and spears, ready to end him. The young Kree quickly pressed a few buttons on his gauntlets, causing his arms to glow with energy. One of the soldiers swung his sword, but Noh-Varr raised his glowing arms and actually blocked it, before the energy traveled to his leg and he kicked him, sending the guard flying back.
The other guards attacked, but the energy traveled back to Noh-Varr's arms and he once again blocked all their strikes, before delivering a couple powerful blows that sent them flying back. He barely had time to relax, as he turned back to see several guards still chasing after him, so he continued to run off.
And if the lights are all out
I'll follow your bus downtown
See who's hanging out
*Long Instrumental*
In another hallway within Winterfell, two young girls, one older than the other and appeared to be sisters, were seen walking through it and were having a pretty heated argument.
"Arya, I know you took my comb, so I want it back!" The older young girl, who appeared to be 13 years old, with long red hair exclaimed angrily.
Arya, the younger girl with short brown hair, just huffed and glared at her older sister. "I didn't take your stupid comb, Sansa. What would I even want with it?"
"You always do this! Just give it back!" Sansa said angrily. "After our lessons with Septa Mordane I last saw it in my room, and now it's gone!"
"I said I didn't take it!" Arya repeated.
All of a sudden, Noh-Varr came bursting out of the door that was literally right next to Sansa and ended up crashing into her, causing them both to tumble and fall to the ground.
"Sansa!" Arya exclaimed with worry and shock.
Sansa groaned in pain as she looked up to see the young Kree agent in the same boat as he rubbed his head in pain. The two of them eventually made eye contact, and Noh-Varr instantly remembered the situation he was in and instantly got back up.
"Sorry about that! Gotta go! Bye!" Noh-Varr exclaimed as he started running down the hall.
Not soon after that, a few guards came bursting out the door and instantly became alarmed when they saw Lady Sansa, their Lord's oldest daughter, laying on the ground. "Lady Sansa, are you injured?!"
"That ruffian knocked me down!" Sansa said as she pointed in the direction Noh-Varr went in. "He went that way! After him!" The guards all nodded nod went off after the intruder.
Not long later, David eventually made it out of the Winterfell stronghold and onto the courtyard, where he could see several people looking at him strangely. He turned around to see which direction her should go, or for any sign of Noh-Varr, but all he got was three men running up to him, but these three didn't seem like the guards that have been chasing him.
"Stop where you are!" Robb said as he, Jon, and Theon drew their swords and glared at him.
David looked around and saw more guards heading in their direction. "Yeah, I'm gonna take a pass on that." David said, before he activated the rockets on his boots and flew up high, much to everyone's shock and awe. David flew up and landed on the roof of Winterfell and looked down at everyone with a smirk. "So long, suckers."
David was about to take off, but then Noh-Varr, who just came up on the roof as well, ran up and crashed into him, causing them both to tumble and fall right off the roof. The two of them groaned as they landed back on the ground, with the guards closing in.
(Song ends)
"Good job, Noh." David said with a groan as he sat back up. "Way to be smooth there."
"I'm sorry, sir." Noh-Varr said as he sat up as well. Just then, all the guards of Winterfell gathered around them, along with Robb, Jon, and Theon, pointing their swords and spears at them. David raised his singular quad blaster at them, and Noh-Varr raised his hands in surrender. "My first outing with the Guardians of the Galaxy, and this is how it ends up."
"That's just a typical Tuesday, really." David said with a shrug.
"Put your weapons down!"
Everyone lowered their weapons and parted to let Ned Stark march on through and strongly looked at the two off-worlders. Ned stared at the two of them hard, before he noticed David, who has not lowered his weapon, and then he noticed the quad blaster.
"Are you the owner of this?" Ned said as he reached back and brought out David's second quad blaster.
David's eyes widened at that, but did give a slight nod. "Yeah, that's mine." David said.
Ned stared at the two of them briefly, eyes not wavering, showing David that this was a man who commanded respect. "If you lower that...thing, young man, I promise no harm will come to you and your friend." Ned promised as he then held the second quad blaster for him to take. "I only wish to talk."
"Father..." Robb said cautiously, not fully trusting if this was the best idea.
"Robb." Ned said sternly as he looked at him, then to Theon and Jon. "There's no need for bloodshed. I merely wish to talk."
David and Noh-Varr looked at each other for a brief moment, not really expecting this outcome, but it was definitely not an unwelcome one either. David lowered the quad blaster in his hand and holstered it, before reaching out and taking his second blaster from Lord Stark.
"Yeah, I think that's probably for the best." David said as he and Noh-Varr stood back up, still feeling a little tense, but happy that they're not going to be chased anymore.
This day may have started out crazy, but something tells David that the craziness is just getting started.

Hey everybody, hope you all like the newest chapter!
This one was certainly interesting, because now we're finally about to dive into the world of Game of Thrones, and the Guardians are going to be in for a surprise about what this world is like. It's going to be interesting seeing a bunch of heroes that are more akin to sci-fi being stuck on a world that is heavily inspired by fantasy, which I think is a good combination.
So, we know that David and Noh-Varr have landed up North and literally close to Winterfell, it makes you wonder where the rest of the Guardians have been taken to. You'll just have to wait and see, because I planned out where each member is located and how it'll affect the events, eventually changing the game all together.
The Guardians are going to leave a major impact in Westeros, and they're going to shake things up. After the tragedy that was season 8, we need a little bit of a shake up!
Also, my thoughts for Guardians of the Galaxy 3...
That was one of the best MCU films I have ever seen in my life! Seriously, that's the kind of heart and soul Disney needs to bring back to the MCU, because their last couple of projects, The Marvels and Secret Invasion, have been very lackluster.
However...
Some of the events of the movie contradict the history of the Guardians as I have planned for this story, so I decided to make a compromise of this movie and stories joint history. While, yes, the movie does take place in my own MCU timeline, I'll be changing only a couple of things, like Peter and Gamorrean having David in my own continuity.
That's all I have to say, for now. Next chapter David is going to give the big shots in Westeros a detailed rundown of their situation, and he is gonna blow their minds.
Until then, everyone, stay healthy, stay safe, and I'll see you all next time.
