Now in present time, the Guardians have been reincarnated and begin to learn of their destiny. Chapter 25: Cubone's Mourning

Route 10

Rain poured down from a dark, cloudy sky on a cool morning. Trainers and Pokémon from all over the area went to hide from the rain... except for the Water-type Pokémon that lived in the area. As the rain poured, a lone Cubone sat down under a tree; letting the rain hit its body as the wind began to blow heavy gusts. It blinked its green eyes a few times, felt tears fall from its eyes, and then looked down at small bone it carried in its hands. Rumbles of thunder echoed in the air, and then Cubone began to have mental flashbacks of its past. It remembered the first time it saw its mother, Marowak, after it hatched from its Egg in Rock Tunnel, played with many other Cubone while many Marowak were watching over them alongside families of the Machop line, Rhyhorn line, Kangaskhan, Geodude line, Onix line, Mankey line, and Zubat line.

It remembered all the good times it had with its friends and family... until Team Rocket Grunts appeared and began to trap and put them in cages. It escaped alongside its mother, and saw two of the Grunts chasing after them. As it ran, it tripped on a rock and looked at the Grunts in shock and fear. Before they could catch it in a net, Marowak used Bonemerang on the Grunts and saved it from harm. She turned to it, told it to run away, and it got up and did what it was told to do. Cubone ran as far enough as it could, and then it saw Marowak caught in the net and get injured by the Grunts. She tried to break free from the net, and it made the Grunts do the unthinkable when stopping Marowak. Cubone's eyes widened in fear as they did this, and was completely frozen in fear; knowing that it has never seen humans do such a thing like this to a Pokémon before. After that, they dropped her body and walked away from her. It ran back over to her, and tried to bring her back to life, but she never woke up. Its eyes filled up with tears, let out a painful cry for a while, buried her body near the Pokémon Center, and then it walked away from the area; crying out to the loss of her. The flashbacks ended as the sound of thunder clapped in the sky. It lifted its head up and looked at the rain as it poured on its face.

It blinked its eyes, looked back down at the bone in its hands again, and then clutched it tight; feeling anger growing inside it. It growled to itself, stood up, and began walking back to Rock Tunnel. As it walked down the path, three Arbok's slithered out of the bushes and began to attack Cubone. Cubone fought back for a while using its bone as a weapon... until one Arbok hit Cubone with its tail and sent it flying to a rocky wall; making it nearly faint. The three Arbok hissed loudly, surrounded Cubone as it tried to stand up, and then they were suddenly grabbed by psychic energy. Cubone blinked its eyes, looked around, and then saw three Abra's holding the Arbok's back away from it. It made a curious sound, and then saw me and my group running upto it. "Cu... bone..?" it said tiredly. We stopped in our tracks and looked at the Arbok's angrily.

"Abra! Toss them aside with Psychic!" I said. "Abra! Ab-ra!" my Abra replied as he and his friends used their attack on the Arbok's; tossing them to the rocky walls. "Zach! Celina! Your turn!" I said. "Got it! Abra! Use Psyshock!" Zach replied. "Abra! Shadow Ball!" Celina replied. "Abra! Ab-ra!" both Abra's replied as they used their attacks on the Arbok's. As they fell down, I quickly ran over to Cubone and picked it up in my arms before they could even get the chance to strike back. "Inteleon! Use Mud Shot!" said Yuya. "Inteleon! In-teleon!" Inteleon replied as he used Mud Shot on the Arbok's eyes; blinding them for a bit. "Aurasoul! Bone Rush!" I replied. Aurasoul let out his battle cry and used the attack on the Arbok. Cubone was completely surprised of what it was seeing, and then it saw the Arbok get thrown up in the air by the attack. "Abra! Psychic!" said me, Zach, and Celina.

"Abra! Ab-ra! Abra!" they replied as they used the attack one more time, and defeated the Arbok's. "Alright! Way to go, guys! Now this Cubone won't be Arbok food!" said Pat happily. "Yeah! You four were incredible!" Sora replied. "Thanks." Zach replied. We then looked at the Cubone in my arms and saw the wounds on it. "Oh, no... it's hurt." said Zuzu. "Yeah... those Arbok really got to it pretty good." Yuya replied. Cubone blinked its eyes a couple times, and then began to feel the pain in its back; making it cry out in pain and drop the bone it held in its hand to the ground. My Abra noticed the small bone, picked it up with Psychic, and put it back in Cubone's hand. "Nice save, Abra." I said. "Abra." he replied. I then began to comfort Cubone as it cried out in pain, and then began to use Heal Pulse on its back; healing its wounds.

"Cu? Bone? Cubone?" it said as it stopped crying and looked at me curiously. "It's okay, Cubone... she's trying to heal you. That's all." Zuzu replied calmly. Cubone blinked its eyes, looked at me nervously for a moment, and then saw a look in my eyes that felt very familiar to it. It then had another mental flashback and saw its mother helping it heal its wounds from a battle, and saw the same look in her eyes that it saw in mine. A couple moments later, Cubone was all healed up. "There you go, little guy. All set. You're now fully healed and ready to go." I said. Cubone stared at me silently, and looked down to the ground; seeing how far it was from it. It then began to shake nervously and cry. Once I saw the tears, I instantly hugged it; trying to comfort it as much as I could. "Aww~ Look at you being all motherly, Tay." said Celina. "Pi-ka." Tetrax replied as he nodded his head in agreement. We looked at Cubone as it hugged me, and then we heard someone walking nearby.

We looked over to my left and saw a couple Trainers running. "Hey! You two! What's going on over there?" Pat asked. "It's horrible! Both the Power Plant and Rock Tunnel have been taken over by Team Rocket!" a boy replied. "What!?" we replied in shock. "Yeah! It's true! They've taken over the area for the past few days! They even have trapped many wild Pokémon inside cages, nets, and boxes!" the girl replied. Our eyes widened in shock and anger to all of this, and then we looked down at Cubone. "Cubone? Do you know anything about this?" I asked it. "Bone." it replied as it nodded its head yes to my question. "Huh? What are you talking about?" the boy replied. "...I think Team Rocket had done something to Cubone. They did something to hurt it in a way we all don't know what." I replied. Everyone looked at us in shock after I said that, and then we all heard sirens go off.

"Cubone!" said Cubone nervously. The sirens got louder and we saw police cars drive by us; heading towards the Power Plant. "Looks like the cops got notified about this before we found out." said Celina. "Yeah." I replied. "Should we check it out? They might have more info if they have seen video of you." Zach replied. I thought about it for a moment, and then nodded my head yes to him. "Okay. Let's start off in the Pokémon Center over there. I bet they are trying to see if any Grunts are taking over the place." he said. "Right." I replied. "What!? Are you guys serious!? Team Rocket are filled with dangerous people!" the girl replied worriedly. "Yeah... we know. We've faced them before." Zach replied. "Really..? You've beaten them before?" the girl replied. "Yep. We've beaten them a few times. Right, guys?" he replied. We nodded our heads yes to his question.

"Wow... you guys must be really strong." the boy replied. "Yeah... I guess you can say that." Pat replied. After he said that, we heard the sounds of barking at the Pokémon Center. We looked back the two kids and saw them begin to step away from us. "You two get going. We can handle them." said Celina. "Okay." they replied. After that, me and the group ran over to the place and saw many members of the International Police surround the building.

Outside the Pokémon Center

"Team Rocket! This is the International Police! We know that you're in there! You all have nowhere to run! Surrender now and we can end this conflict peacefully!" said the Chief. As they all surrounded the building, we looked out from a hill nearby and saw silhouettes of Team Rocket Grunts inside the building. "Man... they got the whole place surrounded..." said Pat. "Yeah. How are we supposed to get in? How many of them are in there?" Sora replied. "Easy. We can Teleport in there with the three Abra's and ambush them before the cops bust down the door." Celina replied. "True... but how many of them are in there? Who knows if they have hostages?" Sora replied. "Huh. Good point." she replied. After their conversation, Aurasoul and I used our Aura Vision ability to see how many Grunts and hostages were inside.

We looked inside the building and saw ten Grunts inside; holding Nurse Joy, Chansey, their employees, and sick and injured Pokémon hostage. As we looked for a right spot to teleport into... both of us saw something that we had never seen before: a small creature eating metal. We looked at each other curiously for a moment, and then stopped our Aura Vision. "Hm? Tay? Aurasoul? You two alright?" Yuya asked us. "...Yeah. We're alright." I replied as Cubone looked up at me. "Did you two see something in there?" he replied. I nodded my head yes to his question. "Well? What did you guys see?" he replied. I blinked my eyes, and then looked at the group as they looked at me. "We saw... ten Team Rocket Grunts inside. They're holding Nurse Joy, her employees, multiple Chansey, and many sick and injured Pokémon hostage." I replied.

Everyone's eyes widened in shock to this, and then we all heard Cubone begin to growl. "Whoa! It's mad!" said Sora. "Yeah... I guess after hearing what they are doing to those Pokémon inside, it might've triggered it." Zach replied. Cubone growled again, crawled out of my arms, and then began to walk away from us. We looked at it curiously, and then saw it turn back to us. "Cu-bone! Bone-Bone! Cu-bone!" it said as it motioned us to follow it. We stood up and followed it curiously; wondering what it wants us to see. We walked away from the Pokémon Center for about a minute, and then saw a pile of dirt. "Huh? A pile of dirt?" said Zach. "What's so special about it?" Pat replied. Cubone stared at the pile of dirt silently for a moment, and then began to cry at it. Once I heard it cry, my eyes widened in shock and realization; now knowing why it brought us here.

We listened to Cubone cry a little more, and then I walked over to it, knelt down next to it, and put my hand on its shoulder; making it turn to me with tears in its eyes. "Cubone..? Is this where you buried your mother?" I asked it. Cubone blinked its teary eyes a couple times, and then sadly nodded its head yes to my question; shocking the group. "Tay..? What are you talking about?" Zuzu asked me. "Cubone lost its mother to Team Rocket." I replied. "What!?" she and the group replied in shock. Cubone was shocked and surprised that I quickly found out what happened to its mother, and then saw me gently pick it up in my arms. "When I saw Cubone cry for the first time, I used my powers to look through its memories, and saw how Team Rocket took its mother's life. When I watched it... it made me sick to my stomach. And I could tell from Cubone's eyes that it was very traumatized. It tried to bring her back to life... but she never woke up. So... it had to go through this tragedy alone." I replied.

The group's eyes widened in shock to what I said, and then looked down at Cubone as it looked at all of us. "Cubone... we're... we're so sorry." said Yuya. "Cu... Cubone..." Cubone replied with tears in its eyes. We looked at it sadly, and then we gave it a group hug; letting it know that we are here for it. Once it realized what we were doing, it then cried out tears of sadness; knowing now it has a support system with us. After that, we ended the hug, and heard the sounds of the cops trying to bust down the door nearby. We turned to the Pokémon Center and saw the cops try to bust down the door; ready to fight Team Rocket themselves. We ran back to the area, and then looked at the three Abra's as they looked at us. "So..? We're busting in?" Celina asked me. "Yeah. We're busting in." I replied. "Sweet! Time to give those Team Rocket Grunts a big butt whooping!" she replied. We nodded our heads in agreement to her response, and then we saw our Abra's surround us and use Teleport.

Inside the Pokémon Center

"Augh! Come on! Hurry up!" said the lead Grunt. "We're trying, sir! These small Pokémon just won't stop eating the metal of the cage!" a female Grunt replied. They tried to get the small Pokémon off the cages, but they would use Thunderbolt and Flash Cannon on their Pokémon; breaking the barriers holding the hostages inside. "Why you! Arbok! Use Fire Fang!" said the lead Grunt. Arbok hissed loudly at the small Pokémon, saw the scared looks on their faces, and used the attack. The small Pokémon fell off the cage, and scurried away in fear from them. "Ha! That'll teach ya not to mess with us!" said the lead Grunt. His Arbok hissed again, and then saw more of the small Pokémon slowly crawling on the cage and eating the metal again. It then tried to use Fire Fang on them again, but as it got close... it was grabbed by some psychic energy. It hissed in shock, and then was thrown to the side.

"Huh!?" said a few Grunts. "What!? What the hell!? How did the cops get in!?" the lead Grunt replied. "They never did." replied a voice. "What..? Who's there? Who are you?" the lead Grunt replied. "...Someone that you don't want to mess with." the voice replied. They were confused to what the voice had said, and then they prepared themselves for battle. "Alright, guys. Stay focused. Who knows what is out there..." said the lead Grunt. They all looked out the door silently, and then their Pokémon were blinded by Mud Shot. "Ah!" said a few Grunts. "What the hell!? Who did that!?" the lead Grunt replied. After that, Celina's Zubat flew in and used Supersonic on the Pokémon; confusing them. "Huh!? A Zubat!? What's it doing around here!?" said one Grunt. "Who cares! Get it!" another Grunt replied.

Zubat flew around as the Grunts tried to hit it, and then it used Screech to stop them from attacking. They covered their ears as the noise hurt their heads. After the attack ended, Zuzu's Roserade jumped into the room and used Power Whip to tie up the Grunts and their Pokémon. "What the!? What are they doing!?" said the lead Grunt. They tried to break free from the vines, but Sora's Weepinbell lowered itself from the ceiling, and used Sleep Powder on them; putting them to sleep. As they fell asleep, we walked into the room and saw Yuya's Inteleon appear alongside Zubat, Roserade, and Weepinbell. "Great job, guys." said Celina. As we looked at them, Cubone growled at them angrily, jumped out of my arms, and used Bone Club on them; shocking us. As it hit them, it used the attack to knock them out cold.

"Whoa... that was..." said Pat. "Aggressive." Zach replied. After a couple minutes of knocking them out, Cubone ended its attack. I walked over to it, picked it up in my arms, and saw how exhausted it was. "Hey..? You alright, Cubone?" I asked it. It let out a couple heavy breaths, and then nodded its head yes to my question. I breathed a sigh of relief, and then hugged it. "I know, little guy... you were just letting out some of your anger. But you can't let your anger control you." I said. "Cu? Cubone?" it replied curiously. "Mhm. I know exactly what it's like to have anger controlling me. It wasn't pretty. Anger is the one emotion that will betray you in battle. And I know that you still have a lot of anger towards them... but you can't let it control you. If you let it control you... it will turn you into a violent monster. And I know that deep down in your heart... that is something that your mother would never want you to be." I replied.

Cubone's eyes widened in shock and realization to what I had said, and then it began to remember how its mother fought in battle; seeing that she never resorted to violence. It blinked its eyes, and snapped back into reality. It then stared at me and nodded its head in understanding. "Pika-chu..." said Tetrax sadly. The three of us looked at each other silently, and then we saw Nurse Joy and her employees looking at us. We then got them out of their energy cages, and helped them leave the room. As we left, the small metal Pokémon began to follow us; wondering where we were going. "Everyone okay?" Zach asked. "Yes. Everyone is alright. Thank you all so much for saving us." Nurse Joy replied. "You're welcome." he replied. She smiled at us, and then we heard something bust down. We turned to the doors, and saw the International Police charge in and surround us. "Freeze! Put your hands up in the air! Don't move a muscle!" they said as we put our hands up in the air. "Hey! Take it easy! They're just kids! They're the ones that saved us!" one Nurse replied.

The cops looked at them after the Nurse said her response, and then looked at us; seeing that we weren't wearing the Team Rocket uniform. They then looked at the Chief and saw him looking at us. "Men. Lower your weapons. Give the kids some breathing room." he said. They did as he said, and we breathed sighs of relief. "Search the backrooms. Those Grunts must be back there." he said. "Yes, sir!" they replied. After that, they all went to the backroom to investigate. As they did, a detective walked into the building with more cops and saw us calming some of our Pokémon. "Hey. You kids alright?" he asked us. "Yeah. We're alright." I replied. He lightly smiled and breathed a sigh of relief. "Looker. Check this out. The Grunts are all tied up in vines." said one cop as he, his squad, and the Chief approached him with the Grunts.

"What..? How did that happen?" Looker replied. "The kids did it. They and their Pokémon saved us from Team Rocket." Nurse Joy replied as she looked at us. "Really..? Children? Is this true? Did you all save them from Team Rocket?" he replied. "Yep. It's true." Pat replied. "Astounding. How did you all get in here to save them?" he replied. "Oh, that's easy. We used three Abra's to teleport us inside, then Inteleon and Zubat distracted them, Roserade tied them up, and the Weepinbell put them to sleep with Sleep Powder." Pat replied. "Really? That is incredible. And they never knew it was all of you that planned this?" the Chief replied. We nodded our heads yes to his response, and then watched the cops take the Grunts away. "Well... I must say. I am very impressed by what you all did to stop them. Good job, kids." he said. "Thank you, sir." we replied. They smiled warmly at us, and then walked away to their cars. "Man... that was close. Good thing they didn't arrest us." said Celina.

"Abra." the three Abra's replied as they nodded their heads to her. After they did that, their bodies began to glow light blue and started their evolution. "Whoa! Tay! Zach! Celina! Look! Your Abra's! They're evolving!" said Pat. We looked at them in shock as they went through this, and then we saw them become their next stage. "Ka-dab-ra!" they said. "Whoa! Look at that! They evolved into Kadabra!" Sora replied happily. "Kadabra." my Kadabra replied as he lifted up his silver spoon with Psychic alongside Zach and Celina's Kadabra's, and showed us how his psychic power has improved. "Cu-bone..." said Cubone as it watched my Kadabra control his powers. "Congratulations, Kadabra!" I said happily. "Dab-ra." he replied happily. I smiled back at him, took out my Phone, and activated my PokéDex. "Kadabra, the Psi Pokémon. A Psychic type, and the evolved form of Abra. Kadabra emits a peculiar alpha wave if it develops a headache. Only those people with a particularly strong psyche can hope to become a trainer of this Pokémon. When it uses its psychic power, it emits strong alpha waves that can ruin precision instruments, machines to malfunction, and make clocks run backward." said my PokéDex.

"Whoa..." my group replied in awe. "That's awesome! Way to go, Kadabra! I'm so proud of you, buddy!" Zach replied as he hugged his Kadabra. "Kadabra!" it replied happily as it hugged him back. "That is amazing! Kadabra? Let's keep doing our best! Someday soon, we will show Yuri just how strong we are together!" Celina replied. "Ka-dabra!" it replied confidently. We smiled happily to this, and then Aurasoul poked my arm. "Hm? What's up, buddy?" I asked him. He made a few sounds, and then showed us the group of small, metal Pokémon for the first time. "Huh..? What the? Who are these guys?" said Yuya. "Are they... Pokémon..?" Zach replied curiously. We stared at the small creatures silently, and then saw them slowly climb up the table to get a better look at all of us. "Well... they kinda do look like Pokémon? But... I've never seen anything like them before?" said Celina. "Well... there's only one way to find out." Zuzu replied as she took out her Phone and activated her PokéDex.

"Meltan, the Hex Nut Pokémon. A Steel type. It melts particles of iron and other metals found in the subsoil, so it can absorb them into its body of molten steel. They live as a group, but when the time comes, one strong Meltan will absorb all the others and evolve." said Zuzu's PokéDex. "Mel... Meltan." they replied as they looked at us. "Wow... so that's what they are. That's awesome." Pat replied. He then slowly reach out his hand to them, and watched silently to see what they would do. They looked at his hand, and one of them slowly crawled onto his palm and looked up at him curiously. "Aww. I think it's starting to like you." I said. "Really?" he replied curiously. "Mhm. Think about it. Have you ever seen a wild Pokémon just crawl up on your hand like this one?" I replied. "Nope. Not until now." he replied. I nodded my head to him, and then we all looked at the Meltan again; seeing them investigating us. "Aww~ I have to admit. They do look really cute." said Zuzu.

"Yeah. But... how did they end up in here?" Yuya replied. "They came from the Power Plant." Nurse Joy replied. "Huh? The Power Plant?" he replied curiously. "Yep. The Electricians discovered these Meltan living in the Power Plant a few months ago. They found them inside metal shipping boxes that had parts to keep the building strong. When we showed them to Professor Oak, he was very curious of them and began his research on them alongside Professor Willow." she replied. "Professor Willow?" Zach replied curiously. "Yes. He is a Pokémon Professor who specializes research in Pokémon habitats and distribution, similar to Professor Birch in the Hoenn region. He was the first person who had discovered the Meltan species a few years ago, and is a former pupil of Professor Oak's many years ago." she replied. "Really? That's awesome!" he replied happily.

She nodded her head in agreement, and then we saw more Meltan begin to appear in the room. "Wow... there are so many of them..." said Sora. "Yeah. They must've came out of hiding in the Power Plant when Team Rocket showed up." Pat replied. "Probably." he replied. The Meltan slowly moved around the room, saw some metal beams, made a happy sound, and then went over to the beams; eating them happily. We looked at them and each other in shock as they did this, and then began taking videos and photos of them on our Phones. "Whoa... they're just eating them all..." said Celina. "Yeah... just like what their Dex entry said... iron and metal are part of their diet, and then they use their energies to attack anyone that gets in their way." Pat replied. We nodded our heads in agreement, and then Zach sent his photos and videos to Professor Oak; hoping to see and hear what he will say about them.

1 Hour Later

"What!? Team Rocket has returned!? And you all battled them!?" said Professor Oak in shock on the TV Phone. "Yep. It's true, Grandpa." Zach replied as he and the group sat looked at him on the screen. He looked at them in shock, and then snapped himself back into reality. "Zachary..? How many times have you and your friends faced them?" he asked worriedly. "About... three times? And, Grandpa... they were after her again." Zach replied. His eyes widened in fear to his response, and then began to shake nervously. "But don't worry, Grandpa... she's beaten them. She's escaped from their traps this time and finally stood up for herself against them." said Zach. "She has? She's fought them?" he replied. Zach and the group nodded their heads yes to his response; making him breathe a sigh of relief.

"Anyways... now that you know that Tay is safe with us, Professor. There's something that we need to know. Where did Professor Willow find the Meltan a few years ago? Where did they come from?" Pat asked. "Hm? The Meltan? Oh! Of course! Professor Willow discovered the Meltan species a few years ago in a unknown region when he saw a mysterious box out in the wilderness and found them around it; eating every kind of metal in sight. After taking pictures and videos of them, he sent them to me, and then we began our research on them. When we studied their diet and their temperament, we confirmed that they were Steel type Pokémon. But what really fascinated us was how they used their energy after eating metal and iron. After they ate all the metal and iron they could find around themselves, they would surround themselves with each other and then evolve into a stronger Pokémon that we have never seen before." he replied.

"Really!?" Pat replied surprised. Professor Oak nodded his head yes to his question, and then saw one of the Meltan sitting on Pat's shoulder. "So? Where did you find these Meltan?" he asked. "We found them here in the Pokémon Center when we saved Nurse Joy and her employees from Team Rocket. And after we stopped them, she told us that the Meltan have been living in the Power Plant nearby here." Zach replied. "Really? Does she know how they got to the Power Plant exactly?" he replied. "I don't think so? They might've came to the area by ship or something?" Zach replied. "I see..? Well then... how did they end up in Team Rocket's possession?" he replied. "I don't know? Maybe Team Rocket has taken over the Power Plant or somewhere else nearby? But who knows what they're trying to do this time..." Zach replied.

"Who knows what they're up too now? But just make sure that all of you keep Taylor safe from them. If they ever catch her off guard... then they will try to use her as their weapon again. And if they go after you all as well... please make sure that you all stay safe. If anything bad were to happen to all of you... Taylor will do something to them that she will regret for the rest of her life." he replied. The group nodded their heads in understanding, and then they ended the call. They then stood up, looked around the room, and saw Nurse Joy return with their teams. "Here you go. I'm happy to report that all your teams are fully healed and are good to go." she said. "That's great. Thank you so much, Nurse Joy." Zuzu replied. "You're very welcome. We hope to see you again soon." she replied. She bowed to them and walked back to her desk; helping out more Trainers as they brought in their Pokémon. They smiled at this happily, and then looked out to the door.

"So... how long has Tay been outside with Cubone?" said Celina. "About a half hour. How come? You think she's trying to investigate the Power Plant?" Yuya replied. She nodded her head yes to his question. "Well... there's only one way to find out." he said. After that, they went outside.

Outside the Pokémon Center

I sat down with my team, some of the Meltan, and Cubone outside; eating some lunch while we wait for everyone else to come back. As we ate, I played some music from one of my playlists to distract us from the outside noise. While we ate in peace, Cubone looked up at me curiously and watched how I was taking care of my team. As it watched me, it began to have flashbacks of its mother taking care of it when it was smaller. It remembered the glow in her eyes, her smile, and her laughter as it did things to make her smile. The flashbacks ended a moment later, and then tears began to form in its eyes. "Cu... Cubone..." it said as it began to sniffle and cry. Once I heard it do this, I quickly turned to it, knelt down, and looked at its eyes as tears fell. My team and the Meltan turned to us, saw what was going on, and then looked at each other sadly; knowing now what Cubone is going through.

I sadly blinked my eyes at it as it cried, and then I gently picked it up in my arms. I slowly stood up and gently patted its back; trying to comfort it. "Bone! Cu-bone! Cu-bone!" it cried. I kept trying to comfort it as much as I could for a few moments, and then I felt someone poke my shoulder. "Hm?" I said curiously. I turned around and saw the group, their teams, and the rest of the Meltan looking at us. "Hey, guys. How was the call?" I said. "It was good. He gave us a little more information about Meltan." Zach replied. "Really? That's nice." I replied. "Mhm. And how about this little guy? Is he okay?" he replied as we looked at Cubone. I shook my head no to him, and then he sadly blinked his eyes and looked at Cubone silently. "Hey! I know what will make him feel better." said Sora. We turned to him curiously and saw him take something out of his bag.

"Huh? A baby bottle?" said Pat curiously. "Wait a second... isn't that the bottle you used to give MooMoo Milk to Munchlax?" Celina replied. "Yep. Don't worry. It's 100% clean. I made sure of it." Sora replied. He then opened the bottle, poured some MooMoo Milk in it, closed it, and then handed it to me. "Here. Trying feeding him like a baby, Tay. Maybe it might calm his senses and think how his mother would feed him." he said. "Really?" I replied. "Yeah. I've done this with Munchlax multiple times for the first few months at school together. It helped him calm down for when we were in classes." he replied. I blinked my eyes curiously at him, and then we heard Cubone sniffle. We looked at him, saw him wipe his tears, and then saw the bottle in my hand. "Bone? Cubone-bone? Cubone?" he said as he pointed at the bottle.

"Oh? This? You wanna try it?" I replied curiously. He stared at it curiously for a moment, and then nodded his head yes to my question. "Okay. Just don't drink it all too fast, okay?" I said. "Cu-bone." he replied as he nodded his head in understanding. After that, I got him into a comfortable position in my arms and let him drink the MooMoo Milk. "Aww~" said Zuzu. "See, Tay? I told you that you have that motherly instinct in you." Celina replied. "You really think so?" I replied. "Mhm." she replied as she nodded her head yes to my question. We looked at Cubone again as he drank the milk, and I began to feel his pulse starting to relax to what was happening. "Huh... would you look at that? He's calming down already." said Zach. "See? I told you this would work." Sora replied happily. "And you were right. Great job, Sora." he replied as he patted his shoulder. "Thank you, Zach." Sora replied. "You're welcome." he replied.

We watched Cubone drink the MooMoo Milk silently for a few more minutes, and then saw him lightly push the bottle away from his face. "Heh. Looks like he's full." said Yuya. "Yep. But now let's see what he will do next?" Zuzu replied. He nodded his head in agreement, and then we all stared at Cubone silently. He blinked his green eyes, wiped away some milk drops from his mouth, and then looked up at me. "You don't want anymore milk, Cubone? You full?" I asked him. "Bone." he replied with a nod of his head. He then looked at the group as they looked at him, blinked his eyes, and then looked back up at me. "Pika-chu?" said Tetrax as he looked at Cubone. "Aww~ I think he's getting used to you, Tay." Yuya replied. "Really?" I replied curiously. "Mhm. Think about it. Ever since you've been holding him and comforting him... he hasn't even attacked you once. I guess in his eyes from the way you've been helping him... you remind him of his mother." he replied.

My eyes lightly widened in shock to his response, and then both Cubone and I stared at each other. "Cubone..? Is that true?" I asked. He blinked his eyes, thought about it for a couple moments, and then nodded his head yes to my question. "Aww~ That's so sweet!" said Zuzu happily. "Ha! See, Tay! I told you! I told you that you have motherly instincts towards baby Pokémon!" Celina replied. I was honestly surprised by their reactions for a moment, and then we heard Cubone giggle happily. We stared at each other again, and then he giggled happily again. Once I saw the little smile on his face, I couldn't help but smile back and tickle his stomach; making him laugh happily. We laughed happily as well, and then we heard a loud bang nearby. "Huh!? What was that!?" said Pat in shock. We looked out to the Power Plant, and then saw sparks of electricity flying around the area. "What the hell..? Are there people inside?" he said. "Only one way to find out. Come on, let's go." Celina replied.

"Right." we replied. After that, we began our journey to the Power Plant. As we ran, we heard a loud screech in the sky. "Huh!? Now what?" said Zach. We looked up at the sky, and saw something fly down towards us. The creature screeched again and fired off some electricity at the ground of the Power Plant. It then flew down to the ground and stood on the ground; looking at us silently. "Whoa... who's that Pokémon?" said Zach. Once we looked at it, I recognized it immediately. "Zapdos!" I said. "What!? Zapdos!?" the group replied in shock and surprise. Zapdos looked at us, and saw me run upto it. It let out a small screech, and let me hug it. "Wait a second... isn't that the Zapdos we saw five years ago?" Pat asked. "Yeah! You're right! It is the same one! But what's it doing around here?" Zach replied.

"It comes here to release electricity at the Power Plant. It would come here while there are thunderstorms and release electricity to all the Electric-type Pokémon that live around the area." Yuya replied. "What..? How do you know that?" Celina replied. "Yugo told me. When he and I trained in this area five months ago, we saw Zapdos here at the Power Plant giving its electricity to all the Electric-type Pokémon that live there." he replied. Zapdos nodded its head yes to his response, and then lightly jumped up in the air; flapping its wings. It then let out a few screeches and made us look at the Power Plant. "Huh? What's it saying?" Sora asked us. "I don't know..? But it doesn't sound good." Celina replied. We listened to Zapdos for a few more minutes, and then I used my powers to mentally translate what it was saying. After that, Zapdos and I stared at each other silently. "Huh? What's going on? What just happened?" said Zuzu curiously.

"I know what it said." I replied. "Huh? Tay? What are you talking about?" she replied. "I know what Zapdos was trying to tell us." I replied. "Well? What did it say?" she replied. "It saw Team Rocket." I replied. "What!?" she and the group replied in shock. "It saw them all over the Power Plant and Rock Tunnel area. Its seen them trapping wild Pokémon in both areas in cages like the ones we saw Nurse Joy in. The Pokémon inside them are knocked out cold and the Grunts are waiting for transport to arrive." I replied. Everyone's eyes widened in shock to what I had said, and then they looked at Zapdos. "Zapdos..? Is what she said true? Did you really see Team Rocket in there and in the Rock Tunnel?" Zach asked it. It nodded its head yes to him, and then we heard an explosion at the Power Plant. Once we saw the smoke and fire on the building... we knew that we had to go in. I blinked my eyes, and then quickly went over to Zapdos as it flew back down to the ground.

It let out a screech and offered me to hop on its back. I turned to the group, seeing them watching me, and then we all nodded our heads in understanding. "Tay. Jump on Zapdos and go. We'll catch up with our Kadabra's holding us with Psychic." said Zach. "Got it. And don't try to fight the flames with water. I don't want you guys to get electrocuted." I replied. "Got it." he replied. After that, I jumped onto Zapdos's back, and then we went over to the Power Plant. After looking for an opening, we saw the smoke and fire begin to die down, and we flew into the opening.

Power Plant

We landed on the ground safely, looked at each other, looked around the room, and then began to walk through the building. As we walked around, Pat sent out his Magnemite and made it use Flash to help guide us through the building and search for traps. "You guys see anything?" Sora asked us. "Nope. Nothing yet." Pat replied. "Just keep looking. I'm sure that someone caused the explosion somewhere in this building." he replied. "Yeah. Hopefully we find it quick and get people out of here." Pat replied. We walked around silently for a few minutes, and then the Meltan that stuck around with us heard voices nearby. They then made sounds back, jumped onto each other, and used Flash Cannon at a wall; breaking it down. "Ah! What was that for!?" said Yuya. "I think they found something." I replied.

The Meltan then slowly walked through the hole they made, and then we followed them a couple moments later. As we stepped into the room, Magnemite slowly flew over us and lit up the room with Flash. We blinked our eyes, looked at the room, and saw many unconscious Pokémon inside energy cages. Our eyes widened in shock and anger to what we saw, and then we looked at the cages and saw the big red R on them. "Team Rocket..." said Zach in a dark, stern tone. "Yeah. It was them alright. They did this to all these Pokémon." Yuya replied in a dark, stern tone. As we looked at them, Cubone recognized some of his friends inside the cages and growled angrily; knowing that his friends were caught in the crossfire. "Cu-bone..." he said angrily. I looked down at him, saw him gripping onto the small bone in his right hand, and then looked at the Pokémon inside the cages. As I looked at the cages, I saw one Meltan that had a darker golden hexagonal nut climb up on the controls of the cage. It then turned to me and made some sounds.

"Hm? What's up, Meltan?" I asked it. It made a few more sounds and pointed down on the controls it was sitting on; telling me that it was made of metal. I blinked my eyes, looked at it, Cubone, and the Pokémon inside, and then thought of an idea. "Got it. Meltan? Can you and your friends destroy all of the controls of the cages for us? We'll keep you guys safe if any Grunts show up and try to stop you, okay?" I said. Meltan made a sound and nodded its head yes to me, and then called out to the other Meltan to help out. They answered its cry, and then jumped over to help it. As they began to do this, Zapdos looked around the room, and saw a familiar spot it knew of. It then lightly flew up in the air and went inside its spot. "Huh? What the? What's Zapdos doing?" said Pat. "It went into hiding. It knew if Team Rocket showed up, they would go after it. So, it went to hide just in case." Zach replied.

"Ah... gotcha." he replied. Zach nodded his head to him, and then looked back at the cages; seeing the Meltan destroy the controls on them. "Yes! They did it!" Sora cheered softly. "Yep. And now it's time to get them out of here. Cubone? You wanna do the honors?" I replied. "Cubone! Cu-bone!" Cubone replied as he nodded his head, jumped out of my arms, and used Bonemerang on the broken locks and controls; stopping the cages from working. "Cubone!" he cheered happily. As the walls of the cages faded away, we turned to the three Kadabra's behind us, and saw then use Psychic on all of us. As they lifted us up, we heard the sounds of alarms go off. "Shit! The alarms!" said Pat worriedly. "Ah! We gotta get out of here!" Sora replied worriedly. We looked out to the doors and heard them begin to open. "Kadabra! Ka-dab-ra!" the three Kadabra's said as they used Teleport on all of us; getting us out of the building. As we got out, Zapdos escaped from its secret spot, and flew outside.

As it flew away, a couple Team Rocket Grunts walked into the room, and saw all the Pokémon they had kidnapped in the room were gone. "What!? What the hell!? How did they get out!?" said one Grunt. "I don't know? This is the one room that we never put any kind of camera or sound sensor in at all! Whatever did this... they knew how to get out quick." the second Grunt replied. "Dammit! The Boss is going to be really pissed at us! What do we do now!?" the first Grunt replied. "We head for Rock Tunnel. We still got plenty of Pokémon that the others are keeping hostage. Come on, let's get out of here. This building has no use to us anymore." the second Grunt replied. After that, they left room and began their journey to Rock Tunnel.

Pokémon Center

"Great work, Trainers. I don't know how you successfully found these stolen Pokémon inside the Power Plant, but you all managed to get them out of there safely. I'm also glad that you all made it out of there safe before anyone tried to get you." said Nurse Joy. "Thank you, Nurse Joy." we replied. She nodded her head to us, and then we looked at the injured Pokémon for the first time as their wounds were being treated. As we looked at them, we saw the kinds of Pokémon they were: Geodude, Graveler, Golem, Onix, Steelix, Rhyhorn, Rhydon, Rhyperior, Zubat, Golbat, Crobat, Mankey, Primeape, Machop, Machoke, Machamp, Kangaskhan, Cubone, Marowak, Chansey, Pichu, Pikachu, Raichu, Elekid, Electabuzz, Electivire, Magnemite, Magneton, Magnezone, Grimer, Muk, Koffing, Weezing, Voltorb, and Electrode. We walked inside the room and looked at the Pokémon up close.

"Man... all these Pokémon took a beating from the Grunts and their devices." said Pat in a sad tone. "Yeah..." Zach replied sadly. He blinked his eyes, and then looked at me and Cubone; seeing us looking at the Cubone and Marowak as they were getting patched up. "Cu-bone..." said Cubone as he looked down at his friends. "I know, buddy... I know. They'll wake up soon. I promise. Right now... we need to let Nurse Joy and her friends heal and take care of them. Once they wake up and move on their own... we will handle Team Rocket together. Okay?" I replied. "Bone." he replied as he nodded his head in understanding. I lightly smiled at him, and then looked at the other Pokémon as they were getting patched up. "Nurse Joy? How long do you think they were knocked out?" Zuzu asked. "Hmm... let's see. According to our analysis's... they have been knocked out for more than two hours." she replied.

Our eyes widened in shock to her response. "From what we can tell from their physical injuries, they've been trying to break through the energy cages for quite some time, but the energy of the cages kept hitting them back more harder than they were attacking them." she said. "So that's how they got those wounds... it wasn't the Grunts... it was the cages they were trapped in." Pat replied. "Mhm. But as for this Cubone here... he had a different encounter with those Grunts... didn't he?" she replied. "Yeah. He lost his mother to them." I replied. "Hm? Lost his mother to them?" she replied. "Mhm. When he was running away from them... his mother: Marowak, saved him from their nets, and told him to keep on running. As he ran... she... she lost her life to the Grunts..." I replied. Her eyes widened in shock to this, and then looked at Cubone as he looked up at me.

"Cubone... I... I'm so sorry for you loss. I may not understand the pain you must be going through right now, but if there is something that you must know... it is that your mother's spirit is right here in your heart. She will always be there to love and guide you to where you are meant to go as you grow up." she said. "Cu-bone..." he replied. "Nurse Joy. The International Police are back. They heard the explosion from the Power Plant." a Nurse replied. "Okay. I'll be right there. Taylor? Can you and your friends watch these Pokémon for me for a while? Knowing the Police and this investigation of Team Rocket, this will take a while." she replied. "Sure. We don't mind watching over them for a while. You guys cool with that?" I replied as we looked at my group. "Sure. We don't mind." Zach replied. "Yeah. You can count on us, Nurse Joy. We'll make sure that they stay safe." Pat replied.

She smiled at us warmly, bowed to us, and then left the room with Chansey and the Nurse that called for her. After that, we checked on the injured Pokémon silently for a bit, and then sat down around the room; waiting for the Pokémon to wake up. As we did this, I let Cubone quietly check on his friends and see their conditions up close. Once he saw their wounds, he growled angrily and clutched the bone in his hand again; nearly snapping it in half. When we heard him growl, I slowly stood up, walked over to him, and calmed his senses. "Bone... Cubone?" he said as he turned to me. "I know, Cubone. I know how angry and upset you are from seeing your friends like this. But right now, you can't let your anger control you. If they wake up and see you angry, they will think that Team Rocket has caught you and use you for their schemes." I said calmly. He blinked his green eyes twice, looked back at his friends, and then back at me. "Cu-bone." he said as he nodded his head in understanding.

I then gently picked him up in my arms, looked at the bone in his hand, and saw tiny cracks on it. "Hey, Cubone? Did your mother give you this bone you're holding?" I asked him. He looked down at the bone, saw the cracks on it, looked back up at me, and nodded his head yes to my question. "Do you want some help on patching it up a bit?" I replied. "Cubone." he replied with a nod of his head. He then gently handed over the bone in his hand to me, and then I used my powers to repair the bone and made it stronger than before. "Whoa... that's cool. Not only she can use every single move of every Pokémon... she can also repair items that certain Pokémon carry with them." said Sora. "Yeah..." Yuya replied. After that, I stopped using my powers and gave Cubone his bone back. He inspected it, saw the cracks were gone, and then he smiled happily at me. "Cu-bone." he said with a smile. "You're welcome." I replied. After that, I sat back down with the group, and then fed Cubone some MooMoo Milk with some baby Pokémon formula in the bottle; letting it distract him for a bit.

"Good job, Tay." Zach whispered as he patted my shoulder. "Thanks." I whispered back. We smiled at each other warmly, and then looked down at Cubone as he kept drinking the milk from the bottle. We stared at him silently for a moment, heard something move on the floor, looked up, and saw Pat looking at us. "Uh...? What are you doing?" Zach asked them. "Nothing. I just thought that Mommy and Daddy need a blanket to tuck the baby in." Pat replied with a smirk; making us turn red. "Hahaha! Oh, man! That was good! The looks on your faces was Priceless!" he laughed. "Oh, you son of a-" Zach replied angrily as he stood up and put Pat in a headlock. "Ah! Okay, okay, okay, okay! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Let me go!" he said. "You promise not to do that ever again?" Zach replied. "Yes! I promise! Cross my heart and hope to die on it!" he replied. "Good." Zach replied.

He let him go and sat back down next to me. Pat breathed a few sighs of relief, and then looked at the rest of the the group. "You okay?" Sora asked him. "...Yeah. I'm okay." he replied. "That's good. Now you know not to pull that stunt ever again." Celina replied. "Huh!? Seriously!? You and Zuzu have been saying that to Tay all day today!" he replied. "True... but she knows we're joking with her." she replied. "Wait... you two have been joking with Tay about the motherly instinct thing too?" Yuya replied. "Yep. We do. Even though she does have motherly instincts... we don't shove it down her throat." she replied. "It's true." Zuzu replied as she nodded her head in agreement. The two boys looked at each other curiously, and then they all began to hear music playing. "Huh? Who's playing music?" said Yuya curiously. "Not me." Zuzu replied. "Not me." Celina replied.

They looked around the room, and then saw my Phone on the floor. "Oh. It's coming from her Phone." said Celina. They slowly moved over to us, and watched us silently; wondering why I turned on music on my Phone. "Nothing's gonna harm you. Not while I'm around. Nothing's gonna harm you, no sir. Not while I'm around. Demons are prowling everywhere, nowadays. I'll send them howling, I don't care, I got ways." I sang softly. Their eyes widened in shock to what I was doing; knowing now this is the first time they actually heard me sing. "No one's gonna hurt you. No one's gonna dare. Others can desert you, not to worry, whistle, I'll be there. Demons'll charm you with a smile, for a while, but in time. Nothing can harm you. Not while I'm around." I sang again. "Wow... she can sing..." Sora replied softly. "Yeah... and she sounds really good." Pat replied softly.

Sora nodded his head in agreement, and then they and the group looked at Cubone; seeing him begin to fall asleep in my arms. They smiled warmly at him, and then began to hear some sounds. They looked up and around the room, and then saw all the injured Pokémon begin to wake up. "Guys... look. They're waking up..." Zuzu whispered. "Yeah... I guess Tay's singing is helping them wake up?" Yuya whispered. "Maybe..?" she whispered. They looked at the Pokémon again, and then back at me. "Not to worry, not to worry. I may not be smart but I ain't dumb. I can do it, put me to it, show me something I can overcome. Not to worry, mum. Being close and being clever, ain't like being true? I don't need to, I would never hide a thing from you. Like some. Nothing's gonna harm you. Not while I'm around. Nothing's gonna harm you. Not while I'm around. Demons are prowling everywhere, nowadays. I'll send them howling, I don't care. No one's gonna hurt you. No one's gonna dare. Others can desert you, not to worry, whistle, I'll be there. Demons'll charm you with a smile. For a while. But in time, nothing's gonna harm you. Not while I'm around." I sang.

After that, the song ended, and Cubone went to sleep. I smiled warmly at him, and then looked at the group; seeing them smile warmly at me. I smiled back at them, and then I saw the injured Pokémon now awake for the first time. They stared at us silently for a few moments, and then looked at their wounds now patched up; wondering how they all got here. We slowly stood up as they looked at us, and they saw that we weren't wearing the uniforms that Team Rocket wears. They lowered their guard a tiny bit, but still stared at us cautiously; wondering what kind of people we are. "Uh... guys? What do we do now? How do we tell them how they got here?" said Sora. "I know how to tell them." I replied. "Huh? How?" he replied curiously. "Easy. You guys just stand back and watch. This will be much easier to show them than tell them." I replied.

After that, I lifted my right arm to them, and then used my powers to show them Cubone's memories of the incident and what happened to his mother. As they watched, their eyes widened in shock to see the fate of Marowak; making some of them clutch their hands into fists angrily. After seeing Marowak's fate, I showed them how we saved them from the Power Plant and how their wounds were treated. They blinked their eyes, looked at each other, and then back to me; knowing now the pieces of this crazy puzzle are now connected together. After that, I stopped using my powers, and saw all their eyes staring at me. "Whoa... that was..." said Sora. "Incredible... she can create visions based on people's and Pokémon's memories..." Yuya replied. The group remained stunned of what I just did, and then we saw a Machamp slowly stand up and walk over to me.

He stood in front of me, saw Cubone in my arms, looked into my eyes, and recognized a look in them that reminded him of Marowak. "Champ. Champ-Champ. Ma-champ. Ma-champ." he said as he put one of his hands on my shoulder; thanking me for saving his and everyone's lives. I blinked my eyes, and nodded my head to him. "You're welcome. If it weren't for us... you all would barely survive the trip to Team Rocket's new base." I replied. He nodded his head in understanding, and then looked at the group. He then walked over to them, and extended his hand to them. "Champ. Champ-Champ. Ma-champ." he said. "You're welcome, Machamp." Zach replied as he shook Machamp's hand. As he did this, all the other injured Pokémon got back up from their beds, came over to us, and thanked us for saving them.

As they thanked us, Nurse Joy returned to the room and saw what was happening. She smiled happily to this, and then saw us turn around and look at her. "I see now our guests are now awake?" she said. "Yep. They sure are." Zuzu replied. "And we also told them how they got here after they passed out from their injuries. So now they are caught up in the loop of the Team Rocket situation." Celina replied. "That's great. Now with them knowing of what has been happening, they should be all set and ready to go, and take back their homes from Team Rocket." she replied. "Right." we replied with nods of our heads. After that, we helped them with their final check ups, and guided them outside safely. As we walked outside, we made sure to go to a spot where no one could see us.

Outside- Near Rock Tunnel

"Okay. Coast is clear." said Pat. "Great. Now... what's the plan? We know that they're holding more Pokémon inside Rock Tunnel. But who knows how many more Grunts are in there?" Zach replied. "Good point. And if they saw the damage done in the Power Plant... they're trying to capture more Pokémon and get out of there fast." Zuzu replied. "Yeah. Knowing them now... they're packing everything up and are ready for their transport drivers to come here." Yuya replied. We nodded our heads in agreement to their responses, and then began to think of our plan to ambush them. "Hey, Tay? Can you and Aurasoul do the Aura Vision thing to check to see how many Grunts and Pokémon are inside?" Pat asked me. "Sure." I replied.

I slowly turned to the walls of Rock Tunnel with Aurasoul, stood up, put my hand on the rocky wall, watched Aurasoul do the same thing, stare at each other, nod our heads, and then used our Aura Vision ability together. All the wild Pokémon around us looked at us in shock and surprise; wondering how I am able to do what Aurasoul was doing. "Huh. Looks like this is their first time seeing a Guardian?" said Sora. "Mhm. From their expressions, this is their first time seeing one in the flesh." Yuya replied. "Mhm." he replied. As Aurasoul and I looked through the cave with our Aura Vision, we saw thirty Grunts inside one giant room of the cave; looking at nearly a hundred Pokémon inside the capture cages and Eggs laying on the bottom. Our eyes glared at the sight in anger, and then we stopped using our ability.

"Tay..? What did you and Aurasoul see?" Zuzu asked us as we turned to her and the group. We blinked our eyes, took a deep breath, and than sat down on the grass. "We saw... thirty Grunts inside the giant room of the cave. They were surrounding the cages... filled with nearly a hundred Pokémon inside them. And there were also Pokémon Eggs inside them." I said. Everyone's eyes widened in shock to what I said, and then we looked at all the wild Pokémon; seeing them turn to the cave angrily. "Shit... they're really pissed now." said Pat. "Yeah. They know now they still have friends and families inside there that are captured. And they will do everything in their power to break them out... even if it means that they will sacrifice their lives for their freedom." Zach replied. Our eyes widened in shock to his response, and then we looked at the wild Pokémon and saw them nod their heads in agreement to his response.

We blinked our eyes sadly at them, and then we heard some of them growl at the cave; ready to go get their revenge. As they did this, I stood up and walked over to the entrance of the cave. I turned back to the wild Pokémon, and saw them looking at me. "...You all wanna barge in there and get them out of the cages, don't you?" I said. They nodded their heads yes to my question. I sighed, blinked my eyes, and crossed my arms. "Well... to you guys... it might be the only idea for you... but the truth is, Team Rocket would expect you guys to do just that." I said. Their eyes widened in shock to my response. "You see... if you want to rescue all your friends and families... you need to think of a smarter approach. Look at the Onix and Steelix here for example. They can easily dig their way to the area underground and ambush them, right? But what if they accidentally hit the cages and hurt everyone and the Eggs inside?" I said.

They blinked their eyes, looked at each other, and then back to me; now realizing one of the risks that could happen here. "Whoa... she gave them a mental shock on that one." said Pat. "Mhm. But like she said. We have to take a smarter approach to this situation." Celina replied. "Right. And how are we going to do that?" he replied. "Oh... that's easy. All the Onix and Steelix here can dig us up a tunnel to get to the area. But in order to make sure they don't hit the cages... we need Tay and Aurasoul to help guide all of us with their Aura Vision to find a spot where we can't be seen, and they can't hit the cages. Once we get there, we have the Zubat, Golbat, and Crobat scope around the area up in the dark ceiling of the cave to see how they are preparing to leave." she replied. "Ah! That's a great idea!" he replied happily.

She nodded her head in agreement, and looked at me; seeing a confident smile on my face. "You liking my idea, Tay?" she asked me. "Mhm. I like it a lot. It's the best idea that we've got. What do you all think?" I replied as I nodded my head, and turned to the wild Pokémon with the group. They blinked their eyes, and nodded their heads in agreement to the idea. "That's great!" she said with a confident smile. "Yep. So? What else do you think we should do when we are inside, Celina?" I replied. "I'm glad you asked. Okay. After the Zubat, Golbat, and Crobat tell us what they see, we will have the Geodude line, Machop line, and Rhyhorn line grab some big boulders to block out any escape path they will try to take. As for the cages, our Kadabra's can grab them and teleport them away from their line of sight, and make the Meltan and our little Cubone friend here, destroy the controls. Once the controls are destroyed and their friends and family are healed from any damage, they can head back to their homes safely, or join the fight alongside us and leave them completely outnumbered!" she replied.

"Yeah!" the group replied happily. All of the Pokémon around us let out happy sounds; showing us that they are happy with the idea. We smiled at them, and then looked at each other. "So... what do you guys say? You wanna do this?" Celina asked us. "Yeah. Let's do it." I replied. She smiled at my response, and we did a fist bump. "Wait... how can we make sure that the Grunts don't catch them with their PokéBalls?" Sora asked. We were stunned by his response, and then we looked back at the wild Pokémon as they looked at us. "Yeah... he's got a point there on that one. How do we make sure that they don't get caught by them?" said Yuya. "That would mean... we would have to catch them..." Pat replied. We all looked at each other silently for a couple moments, and then I saw Machamp walk upto me with a Kangaskhan and a Rhyhorn.

"Ma-champ. Champ-Champ. Machamp. Ma-champ." he said as he pointed at Cubone in my arms, himself, Kangaskhan, Rhyhorn, and me. "Pi-ka!? Pi-Pikachu? Pika-Pi?" Tetrax replied in shock, and then pointed his finger at them and us. Machamp, Kangaskhan, and Rhyhorn nodded their heads yes to us, and then we saw Cubone look up at us and nod his head yes as well. "Wait a second... did they just volunteer themselves to Tay to let her catch them?" Zach replied curiously. "Champ." Machamp replied as he nodded his head yes to his question; shocking all of us. He blinked his eyes, turned back to wild Pokémon, and saw a few more of them join alongside him.

A Raichu, Rhydon, and another Machamp walked upto Zach and stood by his side. A Golem, Steelix, and a Marowak walked upto Celina and stood by her side. A Electrode, Muk, and Weezing went over to Pat's side. A Cubone, Pichu, and Elekid went over to Sora's side. A Marowak, Chansey, and Electabuzz walked over to Zuzu's side. A Golem, Machamp, Raichu, and a Crobat went over to Yuya's side. "Champ. Champ-Champ. Ma-champ. Champ-Champ. Ma-champ." said Machamp. "Huh? Tay? Do you know what he said?" Pat asked me. "He said the ones that walked upto you want to help protect you... but only some of them want to be caught. The ones who want to be caught by you are the ones who walk up closer to you. The rest will be your sword and shield in this battle. They promise to not let anyone try to harm you." I replied.

The group nodded their heads in understanding, and then saw some of the wild Pokémon walk up closer to them. "Looks like all these three want to come along with me." said Zach. "Same with me." Celina replied. "Me too. This Cubone and Pichu chose me to help them out." Sora replied. I lightly smiled at them, and then saw Electrode stand closer to Pat. "Heh. Looks like Electrode chose you." I said. "Yep. It sure did." he replied. We then looked over to Yuya and Zuzu; seeing Marowak stand closer to Zuzu, and Machamp and Raichu closer to Yuya. "Marowak." said the Marowak. Zuzu smiled warmly at Marowak, and knelt down to it. "Marowak. I promise that I'll do the best I can to help you rescue your family." she said. "Maro-wak." it replied as it bowed to her in respect. She smiled back at it, and then turned to us. "Well... looks like we got everyone all set and ready to go." said Yuya. We nodded our heads in agreement, looked at the wild Pokémon close to us, took out some PokéBalls, and then caught them.

After that, we let them out of their PokéBalls, walk over to the wild Onix and Steelix watching us, let them climb up on their heads, and then looked back at the entrance. "This is it, guys. Once we go in... there's no turning back." said Yuya. "Right. Tay. Whenever you're ready... just give the command." Zach replied. "Right." I replied. After that, I used my Aura Vision ability again, and saw the room where the Grunts are in again. I knelt down on my right knee, and used my powers on the wild Onix and Steelix; showing them what I see. They let out sounds of understanding and nodded their heads to me; now knowing where to go. I slowly stood up, blinked my eyes, and looked out to the entrance again. "...Okay... let's do this. Onix! Steelix! Use Dig!" I said. They let out their battle cries, and then used the attack near the entrance of the cave; ready to rescue all their friends and families inside.

As we dug our way through the tunnels; Yuto, Yugo, Rin, Lulu, and Shay appeared out of the shadows of the trees and bushes and looked at the sight. "What the? What happened here?" said Yugo. "I don't know? But whatever's going on around here... it doesn't sound good." Rin replied. They walked to the entrance silently, looked around it, and then Yuto began to sense my Aura around the area. He blinked his eyes a few times, raised his left hand in the air for a moment, and then saw his Mark glow golden-yellow. "Hm? Yuto? What's wrong?" said Yugo as he walked upto him. "...It's Tay... she and the others are here." Yuto replied. "What!?" he and the small group replied in shock. Yuto blinked his eyes, nodded his head yes to them, and then used his powers to show them a vision of what just happened here; just like how I showed the wild Pokémon while we were in the Pokémon Center.

"Whoa... so they knew about Team Rocket being here before we did?" said Rin. "Mhm. And they rescued those Pokémon from the Power Plant. How did they find them so fast?" Shay replied. "I guess they found out about the Pokémon when they saw the Grunts roaming around here." Lulu replied. "Yeah. All of this connects now after what one of our intel members told us what they saw and heard around here." Rin replied. They nodded their heads in agreement to her response, and then they saw the Meltan around us in the vision. "What the hell? Yuto? What are those creatures around them?" Shay asked. "I... I don't know..? I've never seen them before..." Yuto replied. "I know what they are." Yugo replied. "You do? What are they?" he replied. "They're Meltan." Yugo replied. "Meltan? Are they rare around here?" he replied curiously.

"Mhm. They're a Mythical Pokémon that came from a region far, far away from here. They were discovered by Professor Willow a few years ago." Yugo replied. "Really?" he replied. Yugo nodded his head yes to his question. "Yugo? How did you know about them?" Lulu asked him. "Yuya told me. He sent me pictures and texts about them from the Pokémon Center over there. He told me that those little guys have been helping them out against Team Rocket for the past 2 hours now." he replied. "What!?" the group replied in shock. "Yeah. It's true." he replied. "Yugo!? Why didn't you tell us sooner!?" Rin replied as she punched his arm. "Ouch! Hey! You guys didn't ask me at first!" he replied. "That's! That's... fair." she replied. "Really?" he replied as he rubbed his arm. "Yes... you're right. And, Yugo? I'm sorry for punching your arm." she replied. "Hey..? It's okay. You had every right to snap at me. It's not your fault." he replied.

They smiled at each other warmly, and then saw the vision end as me and the group went underground by the Onix and Steelix. They stared at the entrance of the cave silently, and then Yuto began to go after us. Before he got the chance to enter the cave, Shay stopped him by grabbing his shoulder. "Ah! Hey! Shay! What are you doing?" he said. "Yuto... let her handle this. I know how much you want to protect her from them, but from what she saw when using Aura Vision in the cave... she only saw the Grunts in there. If she sensed an Admin or a higher rank Grunt in there... she would call out to you for help." Shay replied. Yuto blinked his eyes, sighed, and nodded his head in understanding. Shay lightly smiled at him, and patted his shoulder. "Come on. Let's go to Lavender Town and report this to Kite and Yuri. We need to tell them before any of the Grunts escape and head to their new base." he said. "Okay." Yuto replied.

After that, they began to leave the area. As they walked away, Yuto turned back to the cave and stared at it silently. "Tay... keep everyone safe. I know you can do it." he said to himself. After that, he put his hood on, and walked away with his group; heading off to Lavender Town.

Inside Rock Tunnel

"Come on, you lunkheads! Put those cages on the carrier faster! We gotta leave before the International Police show up!" said a high ranked Grunt. "But, sir! What if they're surrounding the place!? How the hell are we going to get out of here!" a Grunt replied worriedly. "She's right, sir! How do we know that the escape route is clear?" another Grunt replied. Before the high rank Grunt could say anything, he saw three silhouettes walking upto him. "Ah... Jessie. James. Meowth. Did you three check the escape route for us?" he said. "Yes, sir!" they replied. "The route is secured and ready to go, sir!" Jessie replied. "Ah. Excellent." the Grunt replied. "And we also made sure that no member of the International Police is around here." James replied. "Good. Now that our route is clear... let's get the hell out of this place." the Grunt replied.

"Yes, sir!" Jessie, James, Meowth, and all the other Grunts replied. After that, they began to load up the trucks with the Pokémon cages. As they did this, Celina's Zubat led everyone of the Zubat line all over the ceiling, heard every conversation, and then quietly flew in the shadows back to us. "Zu-bat." whispered Celina's Zubat. "Great job, Zubat. You guys got the info?" Celina replied. "Zu-bat. Bat-Bat. Zu-bat." he whispered as we looked out to the exit nearby. "Huh... looks like they're about to head out of here." she whispered. "Yeah. And what about the captured Pokémon in the cages? Are they okay?" Zach whispered. "Cro-bat." Crobat replied as it nodded its head yes to his question. We all quietly breathed sighs of relief, and then we heard the cages being loaded up onto the trucks.

We blinked our eyes to the sounds, looked at each other, and then nodded our heads; ready to start the mission. "Alright. Let's move. Onix line, Geodude line. Begin Operation Stone Edge." I whispered. They nodded their heads in understanding, and then began the move from the tunnels the Onix and Steelix made. "Perfect. Now, Zubat. You and all of your evolution line head back upto the ceiling and use Screech and Confuse Ray to distract them." Celina whispered. "Bat. Zu-bat." Celina's Zubat replied as he and all of his evolutionary line followed his lead. They flew to the top of the area and watched the trucks silently. "Alright, everyone! Let's move out!" said the lead Grunt. "Yes, sir!" his team replied. After that, they started the trucks and began to move. When they got close to the exit, they all saw giant stone pillars rise up from the ground in front of them; blocking their way.

"Ah! Ey! What the hell is going on here!?" said some Grunts angrily. They all got out of their trucks and looked at the stones. "How the hell did this happen?" said one Grunt curiously. "Hmm... maybe there are some wild Pokémon that we haven't caught yet?" Meowth replied as he touched the stones. "Wob-buffet!" Jessie's Wobbuffet replied. The lead Grunt inspected the stones silently, and then took out a PokéBall. "So... there are some still here trying to break them out, huh? Well... that trick won't do. Nidoking! Break the rocks with Brick Break!" he said as he threw up the PokéBall and sent out his Nidoking. "Nido! Ni-do-king!" Nidoking replied as he began to use his attack. As he got close to the rocks, Celina's Zubat led the charge down with his evolutionary line and they used Screech on all of the Grunts and their Pokémon.

They all screamed in agony to the sound, and then saw them for the first time. "Ey! There's more! Get 'em! Make sure they don't escape!" said one Grunt. "You got it! Go, Arbok!" Jessie replied. "Go, Weezing!" James replied. "Wee-zing!" Jame's Weezing replied. Arbok hissed and jumped up at them. As they went at them, they dodged their attacks, and saw some Raticate, Muk, Golbat, Fearow, Abra, and Kadabra jump at them. They dodge again, and use Confuse Ray on all of them; making them all confused and fall to the ground. "What the!?" said Jessie, James, and Meowth in shock. "Bat! Cro-bat! Crobat!" Crobat replied as it lead everyone in the group to use Air Cutter and Air Slash on the Pokémon; pushing them to the Grunts. The lead Grunt growled angrily to this, and then saw the Zubat line begin to fly away.

"Oh no you don't! Nidoking! Use Thunder on them! Now!" he said. "Nido! Ni-do-king!" he replied as he used the attack. As the bolt came close to them, the Geodude line appeared and blocked the attack with a mid-air Rollout; saving them from harm. "Nido!?" said Nidoking in shock. "What!? What is this!?" the lead Grunt replied. After the electricity wore off, all of the Geodude line used Rollout at their max power and speed on Nidoking; knocking him away to a wall. "Nidoking!" said his Trainer in shock. As this happened, the confusion wore off for the other Grunt's Pokémon, and then they began their assault on the Geodude line. As they came close, we made our move towards them as we jumped out of the shadows and helped out the Geodude line. "What!?" said all of our foes in shock and surprise.

We looked at them silently as they got back up on their feet and made their Pokémon charge at us. "Alright, guys! Let's get 'em!" said Yuya. "Right!" we replied. After that, we let our Pokémon and their friends go at their foes; attacking and holding them back by numbers. "Hey... wait a minute! Those are the kids that defeated Proton!" said one Grunt in shock. "What!?" the other Grunts replied in shock. The lead Grunt's eyes widened in shock to this, and then saw me staring at him. He growled angrily at me, and whistled to his Nidoking. "Nido?" he said. "Over there! There's the Guardian! Get her!" he replied as he pointed at me. "Nido!" he replied. He took a couple steps, and then began to charge at me. I got into my battle stance, saw Nidoking's tail come close to me, and I instantly grabbed it. "Nido!?" he said surprised.

I dragged him a little bit, and then spun him around; making him confused. "Machamp! Catch!" I said as I spun around and threw him to my Machamp. "Champ! Ma-champ!" he replied as he caught Nidoking, spun him around, and then threw him to a wall. "Nidoking!" said the lead Grunt. Nidoking fell to his knee, shook his head, and then looked at us with glowing red eyes. "Ni-do!" he roared. Zach and Yuya turned to me very quickly as they heard the roar, and saw Nidoking begin to use Outrage. "Tay!" they said worriedly. My Machamp and I quickly got out of the way from Nidoking, and then he saw Zach's Wartortle and Yuya's Inteleon staring at him. He roared again and tried to attack them, but dodged him with ease. "Inteleon! Use Mud Shot on Nidoking's eyes!" said Yuya. "Wartortle! Use Ice Beam on Nidoking's arms, feet, and tail!" Zach replied.

"Inteleon! In-tel-eon!" Inteleon replied as he blinded Nidoking with Mud Shot. "Tor! War-tor-tle!" Zach's Wartortle replied as he froze Nidoking's arms, feet, and tail with Ice Beam. He roared angrily to this for a moment, and then broke free from the ice. Our eyes widened in shock to this, and then we saw the lead Grunt smirk at us. "Nowhere to run now, Guardian! We've got you surrounded!" he said as we were surrounded by the Grunts and their Pokémon. "He's right... we're completely surrounded. What do we do now?" Pat replied as we looked around us. As I looked at our foes, I saw my Cubone working alongside the Meltan at the cages. I blinked my eyes, looked back at our foes, and then used my powers to use Protect on my group and the trucks. "What the?" said Jessie. "Uh... sir? What's going on here? What is she doing?" James replied. "I don't know... but we better prepare ourselves for whatever she does." the lead Grunt replied.

"Yeah! Who knows what this wanna be superhero can do?" Meowth replied. My group looked around us curiously, and saw me turn to them and look at them with glowing green eyes. "Huh!? What the..? Tay? What are you doing?" said Pat. "She's using Protect on us!" Celina replied. I nodded my head yes to her response. After that, I unleashed bolts of electricity to all the machines that the foes own; destroying their way to communicate with their higher ups. "What!? No! The machines!" said a few Grunts. After that, I turned around, saw my Cubone use Bonemerang on the locks of the cages, and watched the captive Pokémon jump off the trucks and reunite with their friends and families. "No! The Pokémon!" yelled Jessie, James, and Meowth. The lead Grunt looked at us in shock, clutched his fists angrily, and then saw the shield drop.

I slowly turned back to him, and made him see a cold look in my eyes. "What the..? What the hell are you!?" he said. I stared at him silently, looked down to the ground, saw my Cubone stand by my side, look upto me, and nod his head to me; showing me that he is ready to fight. I nodded back to him, looked back at the Grunts. "Tay..? Ready to finish this?" said Zach. "...Yeah. Let's finish this." I replied. He nodded his head in understanding, and then we commanded all of our Pokémon and the wild Pokémon to attack the Grunts and their Pokémon. "Everyone! Attack!" we said together. All of the Pokémon let out their battle cries and charged at our foes; fighting them with various element attacks. As they were thrown around by the attacks, all the Meltan stacked onto each other like a pyramid and used Flash Cannon on our foes; sending them to their damaged vehicles.

"Oh! What a hit!" said Sora. All the Grunts shook their heads, and slowly stood up; staring at us angrily. We stood tall as we stared at them, and then I saw Necrozma spiritually appear above them. Our eyes connected and then we nodded to each other silently; knowing exactly what to do. After that, it disappeared from my sight, and then I made my eyes glow brightly. "Eh!?" said Jessie and James in shock. "There's the eyes glowing thing again!" Meowth replied worriedly. I stared at them angrily and then charged up the Photon Geyser attack in my hands. "Whoa! Check it out! I've never seen something like this before!" said Zuzu as she and the group looked at me in shock. "Yo... what is this?" Pat replied. "I don't know..? But I have a feeling that she is going to send them flying!" Zach replied. Everyone's eyes widened in shock, and we saw the Grunts try to run away in fear.

As they tried to get away, all of the Onix and Steelix blocked their escape paths with Stone Edge. "Oh no!" they said in fear. "Shit! Sir! There's no way out! We're doomed!" one Grunt replied worriedly. The lead Grunt's eyes widened in shock to this, and then turned back to me; seeing the attack now fully charged in my hands. "Hey! Kid! Come on! You don't have to do this! Please! Have mercy!" he pleaded. "Mercy? How can I have mercy to those who traumatize and enslave Pokémon for your Boss in order to sell them for profit and conquer the world with them, while ripping them apart from their families or from humans that they brought into their lives!? How can I have mercy for heartless creatures like you who also experiment on people and Pokémon in order to gain power and destroy everything that comes your way in order to make this world a authoritarian theocracy!?" I replied in a dark tone. Everyone's eyes widened in shock to my response. "And speaking of your Boss. Tell him that me and the other Guardian are coming for him and will stop him for his tyranny and chaos! His Judgment Day is coming! And we will make him pay for his crimes!" I said.

After that, I launched the attack at the Grunts, and watched them break through the ceiling of the cave and fly far off in the sky. They screamed in pain and fear as they flew, looked around each other, and then saw Zapdos appear before them. "Ah!" screamed a few Grunts. "What the!? Is that?" one Grunt replied. "Zapdos!" the lead Grunt, Jessie, James, and Meowth replied in fear. Zapdos screeched angrily at them, and used Thunder on them. They screamed in pain from the attack, and were sent flying farther away from the area. "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" they all screamed. After that, they disappeared from sight, and Zapdos flew away from the area. As it flew around, it saw us walk out of the cave with all the Pokémon we rescued, and flew down to us.

Outside Rock Tunnel

"Hey, guys! Look! Zapdos is back!" said Sora happily. Zapdos gently landed on the ground, spread out its wings, and let out a happy screech to us. We walked over to it and gently petted it; making it and us happy. We then looked at all the Pokémon we rescued and smiled at each other happily. After that, all of the wild Pokémon let out cheers of celebration; knowing now that their homes belong back to them. "Wow... look at how happy they are." said Pat. "Yeah. They're finally free from Team Rocket. Now they can live in peace with their friends and families once again." Zach replied. We nodded our heads in agreement to his response, and then saw the wild Pokémon come upto us and hug us happily; making us smile and laugh happily with them. After that, we said our goodbyes to them and watched them return to their homes peacefully.

As we watched them leave, we saw that all the Meltan stay behind and look up at us. "Mel..?" they said curiously. "Hm? Meltan? What's wrong?" said Zuzu as we all knelt down to them. They let out a few sad cries to us, and we realized that they now have no place to go. "They really have nowhere to go, huh?" said Celina. "Yeah... but... where can they go? Is there another Power Plant somewhere in this region that has a lot more room and unlimited supply of metals for them to eat?" Yuya replied. "I... I don't know? But... we can't just leave them here." she replied. He sighed and nodded his head in agreement, and then we saw two of the Meltan slowly move upto us, and jumped up in me and Pat's hands. "Whoa!" said Pat surprised. "Mel! Mel-Mel! Mel-tan! Mel!" they replied as they looked up at us; telling us that they want to come along with us.

My eyes widened in shock to their response, and then we both turned to each other. "Tay? Do you know what they just said?" he asked me. "Yeah... they said they want to come with us." I replied. His eyes widened in shock to what I said, and then he looked down at the Meltan in his hands; seeing its eye shine a little bit. "Meltan..? Is that true? Do you and your friends really want to come along with us?" he asked it. "Tan! Mel-Meltan!" it replied happily as it jumped up and down. He smiled at it happily, let it sit on his shoulder, and slowly stood up. "Looks like you got yourself a bunch of new friends, eh bud?" said Zach. "Mhm. I sure do. And same for you and everyone else. We all gained some new friends, stopped a group that wanted to harm and sell them for profit, and saved their homes from complete destruction." he replied.

We nodded our heads in agreement, and then I slowly stood up with the Meltan that jumped up onto my hand. "Hey, Zach? Is it okay that we send the rest of the Meltan to your Grandpa's Lab?" Yuya asked. "Yeah! That's a great idea! They'll be a lot more safer there." Zuzu replied. "And they'll have plenty of metals and iron to eat." Celina replied. Zach crossed his arms, thought about it for a couple minutes, warmly smiled, and nodded his head yes to their responses. "Alright!" said Sora excitedly. "Munch-lax!" Munchlax cheered happily. We smiled happily to this, and walked back to the Pokémon Center.

Outside Pokémon Center- Sunset

I stood outside with my team as the group was healing their teams up and sending over the group of Meltan to Professor Oak. All of my Pokémon sat down on the grass, looked around the area, and looked at Zapdos as it perched itself onto a tree branch alongside Hurricane and my Aerodactyl. As we waited patiently, I looked out to Marowak's grave, stared at it silently for a moment, and then walked over to it. "Cu? Cubone?" said my Cubone curiously as he and my team looked over to me; wondering what I was doing. I picked up a big gray rock, and used my powers to turn it into a gravestone. As I did this, my whole team and Zapdos came over to me; wondering what I was doing to Marowak's grave. After carving Marowak's name and titles to be remembered by, I put the gravestone into the ground, made sure it was secured, took a step back, and looked at the gravestone for the first time.

"There we go. Now... all people and Pokémon can see you and pay their respects to you for who you are, Marowak." I said. I blinked my eyes, stared at the gravestone silently, saw some wild flowers near by, used my powers to gently grab them, and then gently put them down on the grave. My team looked at the grave silently, and then looked at Cubone; seeing him walk upto the gravestone for the first time. He blinked his eyes, and saw a image of his mother's face on it; making him smile lightly. He touched it with his hand, and saw the titles I gave to Marowak: Great Friend, Mother, and Protector of Rock Tunnel. His eyes began to swell up in tears to this, and he began to wipe his tears. When we heard him cry, we slowly got close to him, but this time he lifted his head up and showed a smile on his face; happy to see now his mother is at peace.

"Cu. Cu-Cubone. Bone-Bone. Cubone. Cu-bone. Cubone. Cu-Cu-bone." he said as he pointed to the grave, up at the sky, and then to his heart; telling us that he is now at peace and thankful that we all were here for him when he was at his lowest, and helped him gather the strength he needed to fight back and carry his mother's legacy. We smiled warmly at him, and hugged him; letting him know that we will always be here for him. After the hugs ended, we looked back at Marowak's grave, paid our respects to her, stood up, and walked back to the Pokémon. As my team walked away, I turned back to the grave, knelt back down, and smiled warmly at it. My team heard the doors open, saw the group walk outside, smiled at each other warmly, and then turned to me. "Hm? What's she doing?" Sora asked. "I know what she's doing. She wants to have a private talk with Marowak." Zach replied. Nearly everyone's eyes widened in surprise, and then they watched me silently; wondering what I have to say to Marowak before we leave the area.

"Marowak... I know that your soul is up there somewhere... but... there's something that I want to tell you. Your son... he's a really good kid. The way he has fought through this grief and avenging you against Team Rocket... it was incredible. He showed me and everyone else that took down those Grunts today, that he has the heart of both a lover and a fighter. And... I know... that this might sound very corny for what I'm about to say next... but... I just want you to personally know... that he loves you. He loves you so, so much. You were his whole world. You taught him everything you knew about the world, and how to survive in it. That will be lessons that he will learn and remember for the rest of his life. And I know that he will do the very best he can to make you proud. He knows now that you will always be with him. All he has to do is think of the warm, happy memories he has with you. Not only will it help him keep you in his heart... it will help him get stronger and get through the tough days. As long as he feels your spirit inside of him... he knows that his days will get better, and it will inspire him to become as strong as you." I said.

Everyone smiled warmly at me for what I said to Marowak, and then looked at each other. The group felt some tears swell up in their eyes and wiped away their tears. They then looked down at my Cubone, saw him wipe away his tears, and looked at me with a smile. I slowly stood back up on my feet, and looked down at the grave for one last time. "Oh. I forgot one last thing. Marowak... I promise you with all of my heart that I will take good care of your son. I'll never let Team Rocket or anyone who is as evil as they are get their hands on him. If they dare to try so... I promise you that I will personally send their spirits will be sent to the Shadow Realm for all eternity, and they will have no way out. And they will meet you there as you unleash your true strength to make them pay if they ever lay their hands on him." I said. After that, I walked away from the grave and went back to the group.

As I walked upto them, Zach and Yuya patted my shoulders, and we lightly smiled at each other. "Cu-bone! Bone-Bone!" said my Cubone as he looked up at me and reached out his arms to me. I looked down at him, saw a happy look in his eyes, smiled at him, knelt down to him, picked him up in my arms, and stood back up. We looked at each other happily, and then shared a hug. After that, we looked at the group, and he showed them his smile. "Aww~ You've got a very cute smile, Cubone." said Zuzu. She then tickled his belly and made him laugh happily; making me and her smile and laugh happily as well. We all then looked out to the sunset silently and warmly smiled at it. As we did this, Zapdos gently got off the tree branch, took flight above us, circled around, let out a screech, and then flew back down in front of us.

I then walked upto it, and we rested our foreheads together. It let out a couple sounds, and then we stepped back from each other. "Zapdos..? Thank you for helping us save the Pokémon of the Power Plant and the Rock Tunnel. You deserve the same credit as us when it came to saving them and helping them reclaim their homes. All of the wild Pokémon here owe you a giant thank you." I said. It lightly smirked and nodded its head to me; making me do the same. It then looked at the group as they walked upto us, and let them pet it for one final time. It screeched happily at us, and then began to flap its wings, and jump up in mid air. "I guess it's telling us that it is going home now." said Zach. "Mhm." I replied. It let out a loud screech to us, saying goodbye for now, and then flew away to the Power Plant. "Bye, Zapdos!" said Sora as we waved our hands goodbye to it. "Munch-Munch!" Munchlax replied as he waved his hands in the air. "We hope to see you again someday!" Pat replied. "Saur!" his Ivysaur replied as he waved his vines.

After that, Zapdos disappeared from sight, and the sun had set for the day; revealing the night sky. We lightly smiled at the sight, and then looked at each other. "So..? What do we do now?" said Yuya. "That's easy. We head straight for Lavender Town. Now with Team Rocket out of the picture, we can travel through Rock Tunnel with ease and go into town without any trouble." Celina replied. "Yeah. That's a great idea." Zach replied. She smiled at him happily to his response, and then she looked at us. "So? We all settled with the idea?" she asked us. "Yeah." Sora and Pat replied. "Mhm." Zuzu replied. "Sure." Yuya replied. "Yeah." I replied. "Alright. It's settled. Let's get our Bags, hop on our Bikes, and head for Lavender Town." she replied. "Right." we replied. After that, we grabbed our Bags, hopped onto our Bikes, and began our journey to Lavender Town. As we left, the spirit of Marowak appeared from above her grave, and watched us ride away to Rock Tunnel. She stared at us silently, and then saw her son in the basket of my bike; looking up at me with a smiling face. Once she saw his smile, she smiled warmly at him. She then put her hand to her heart as she heard him laugh happily, and then saw us ride away for one last time. She smiled with tears in her eyes, wiped them away, and then looked up to the stars in the sky.

"Cubone... my sweet, brave, strong, and beautiful boy. I am so proud of you. You have grown so much ever since my passing. You have found a loving group of humans and Pokémon to help you regain your love and inner strength to protect others... just like me. It makes my heart and soul warm to see you now so happy once again. Just to see you smile and hear you laugh again... it puts me at ease. If there is anything that you must know now on this journey... it's that I will always love you. If you ever start to feel down... just look upto the stars, and then feel the warmth inside your heart. That is where I will always be." she said to herself. After that, she disappeared from sight, and her soul went back upto the stars; shining bright alongside them for the night.

Thank you so much for reading Chapter 25 of the story! Man... what a ride with this one. After many trials and errors while writing this out on the site, we finally made it. Hopefully I did this area near Lavender Town some justice, and gave it the respect it deserves. This one took a really good, long amount of time to write. I truly wished I could've published this Chapter near Halloween, but... I'm pretty sure you can guess why it was delayed for a little while. Problems aside... it's now finally out in the scene, and is ready to roll!
