Chapter 8 Fred and George
A day has gone by since our prank on the school happened and right now it is a free period, the classes before that went well, I am in the library finishing some homework with Regulus when Fred and George come up to us "you guys know who did that prank on the great hall don't you" Fred asks Regulus and I look at each other then turn back to face them
"come with us to where we won't be overheard and we will tell you" Regulus states Fred and George look at each other and then nod in agreement and we lead the way to the room of requirements. When we enter we see that the others are already in the room waiting for us.
"Can you" started Fred
"tell us who" continued George
"did the prank on the great hall now" Fred finished
"we are the ones who did the prank on the great hall with help from peeves" Tom spoke
"You can help with the next and future pranks provided you keep that we are the ones who did it" Orion stated Fred and George look at one another I wonder if they can talk to each other in their minds with them being magical twins? Never gonna ask to find that out not worth it to ask
"deal, how did you" started George
"do that prank on the great hall?" finished Fred
"It was only Saran Wrap a mundane object the mundanes use in everyday life, we just made it so the cutting spell wouldn't work on it, we taped up the saran wrap around the entrances and when it came to the last set of doors we recruited Peeves to take up the last bit of tape" Tom explained
"what else" started George
"do you" continued Fred
"have planned?" George finished
"well before we went to Hogwarts I bought supplies from a shop to pull some pranks that the teachers won't be expecting or anyone for that matter. We still have slinkies, super-glue, tin foil, loads of llama slippers and still have a bit of tape left" Regulus shared
"we had an idea of coating the slinkies in something that would make them stick to the moving stairs and make them spell out words, we haven't figured out how to do that" Alexander spoke
"Do you have enough llama slippers to super glue them to the students and teachers?" Fred inquired
"Yes I do, are you thinking of super gluing the llama slippers to our fellow students and the teachers?" Regulus smirked
"exactly so, question what is super glue? And what is a llama?" George replied
"super glue is fast bonding, high-strength adhesive made to bond to almost any material, it is resistant to temperature and moisture. Llamas are mundane animals that can spit at people, mundanes use llama wool for clothes" Tom informs
"may be a good idea if you two continue to sit at your own table so you both don't accidentally give us away due to your reputation as pranksters" Orion suggested Fred and George looked at each other then nod at us
"You can however meet us here" Alexander spoke
"when shall we pull off this prank?" I probe
"how about it is pulled off in a week and George and I pull our usual style prank in half a week so it's less likely they we are involved in this prank" Fred stated
"sounds like a plan, what are your true thoughts on Dumbledore Fred and George?" Orion quizzed they look at each other for a few minutes
"he has too many commitments to do any of them even remotely well" Fred starts
"he seems to using his grandfather appearance to act at one for some reason only known to him" George finished
"Don't trust him, and don't look him in the eyes as he may use Legilimency on you" I warn they nod and we talk about various topics before we had to leave to attend the rest of our classes.
