Inside the X-Men universe Monica Rambeau was trapped in after the events of The Marvels, she, alongside some of the mutants of this universe including Wolverine, Beast, and Cyclops, and a variant of her mother Maria Rambeau, who was Binary in this universe chaos was unfolding.
"Who the hell is this guy?" Monica asked.
"I am unsure," Beast said.
"Well he's going to face my claws, bub," Wolverine said.
The person attacking them was none other than a Kang variant. He was relentless in his attack, disintegrating all in his path, and the only things that stood in his path were the heroes.
Wolverine charged ahead.
"Logan! Wait!" Beast yelled out.
Not listening, Wolverine pounced on this Kang variant, but this variant swatted the mutant like a fly. Binary flew up in the air and shot photon rays at the variant. The variant creates a shield around him.
"I am Kang! You think you could defeat me!" he yells.
Beast jumps on top of this enemy, but he tosses him out. Monica runs up at him and phases through him. Cyclops comes in and shoots a laser at Kang. Monica then kicks him in the head. Kang then receives a communication on wrist.
"Shame. You are lucky today," he said.
He summons some foot soldiers to distract the heroes as he leaves in his multiversal transportation. Monica, Binary and the X-Men manage to easily defeat these soldiers.
"Who was that guy?" Monica asked.
"Don't know. He said his name was Kang," Binary said.
"Why would he leave? He had us beat," Cyclops said.
"Maybe for you," Wolverine snarked.
"Perhaps I could determine his reason," Beast said.
Returning to the X-Manor, they met with Professor Charles Xavier and Magneto.
"He left!?" Magneto exclaimed.
"Calm down Eric. The threat is away, for now," Professor X said.
"Luckily, I will be able to figure out why he left," Beast said.
"How are you going to figure that out?" Monica asked.
They left to the underground basement of the X-Manor where Beast went straight to the computer.
"When I was on him, I placed a nanobot on him," Beast said.
"A nanobot?" Monica questioned.
"Yes. And hopefully, if the audio and images succeed, then," Beast said, "There."
The screen showed the Kang variant entering an arena filled with Kangs. The image frightened all of the heroes.
"That many? How is that possible?" Storm asked.
"The Multiverse," Beast said.
"Kangs!" yelled a voice.
The heroes looked back at the scream, as all of the Kangs went silent as three Kangs approached the center of the stadium. Immortus, Rama-Tut, and the Centurion.
"We have discovered a universe that has become too powerful," Immortus said, "They defeated and killed the exiled one."
"It was out intent to show this universe its place in this vast multiverse," the Centurion said.
"But now, we see that they do not belong here. So it is our duty," Rama-Tut said
"To declare this universe unfit to be in our utopia!" Immortus yelled, "Therefore, it must be destroyed!"
The Kangs all shouted, "Kang! Kang! Kang!"
Beast turned off the screen. Unknowing what to do next, all of a sudden, an orange door opened behind them. Coming out of the door was none other than Agent Mobius.
"Well, this seems to be a problem. Luckily, I'm here," Mobius said, "And, I'm gonna need all of you to come with me."
