Loki walked to his Chambers, entering silently and he saw her dressed in a gown of Emerald. Her hair tumbled down her back in ebony waves, and her verdant eyes turned to him as she stood in the center of the room. She lifted the skirts to curtsy to him, and he stopped her. In his hands, he carried a box and opened it before her. Her eyes went wide, and she blushed as she put a shaking hand on the tiara of diamonds and emeralds.

"Is this for me?" She asked him, and his smile grew as he watched her eyes fall over it.

"It is, and I am honored to give you such a gift." He replied, and he set the box on the table. He picked the delicate piece of gold filigree and jewels off the pillow, placing it on the top of her head and he smiled at the vision she had created. He stood her in front of the mirror and she gasped at who she had become, her eyes wide at the image and she turned to look into his eyes. He caressed her cheek, leaning close to her and he took in a deep breath of her perfume.

"I look at you amd see so many wonderous days my Gentle Frost. I see the stars shining only for you, and a thousand nights of adoration and the purest form of love to ever exist." He said, her eyes on him and she lay her hand on his cheek and smiled up at him. Her eyes shone with true happiness, and she leaned close to him.

"I will hold your heart in my hands and cherish it, cradling it and protecting it against my breast to keep it from ever coming to harm. I only ask one thing of you in return." She said to him and he nodded, his lips kissing the pad of her thumb.

"Ask, and it will be yours." He said back, he put his hand over her stomach and held it there. Her eyes on his and she let her lips curl into a smile, her voice soft and he swore he could feel the life inside her.

"We keep no secrets from our children. And we never hide who they are, nor teach them to be afraid of their heritage." She replied and he smiled at her, kissing her and she returned it happily. Her fingers caressed his face and he pulled away suddenly, his brow creasing.

"Children?" He asked and she smiled up at him, she held up her hand and raised two fingers at him. His mouth fell open, and he held her to him and laughed as she giggled against him.

"You jest!" He said and she shook her head, her laughter growing harder as he looked down at her. He looked at her belly, his hand over it and he watched her for a long moment. She collected herself and he shook his head while she nodded, his mouth gaping and she laughed at his expression.

"The Healers confirmed it." She said, his eyes going wide and he ran a hand over his hair and paced a moment. He looked at her, a smile crossing his lips and she returned it.

"We are going to need a second cradle then." He said, holding her to him again and she smiled. His arms her sanctuary, and his body her home.
